BillyRose
So TL;DR I'm a Web Developer, and I've been finding bugs and exploits all over the game. Be it related to code, or just fight logic - if it can disadvantage or ruin someone, I report it to Mike and send a copy to Duphus and the mod team. But gray area gets interesting... Right now, an NC is just an NC. Nobody is really held responsible, and the NC appears on both fighers' records. In short there's no penalty except a little wasted time. There might also be a Hype/Pop hit but I don't care about that. What if I signed on for a QFC at 145 pounds despite my guy walking around at 155 - just BARELY able to make weight under normal circumstances? What if I waited until the match was booked to see if I had a big skill advantage? What if I didn't have an advantage, so I just spammed training before the fight, so I couldn't make weight and it would be called off? What if I did this again and again in order to win the luck of the draw and fight cans, undefeated, forever? Thoughts?
GBK16
I dunno if it got changed recently or whatever but I remember there being a hype hit for the person who caused the NC. But yeah it would be a dick move for you to do it anyway
Mentor
If you start doing that in the big leagues you will basically be kicked out. Deliberately NCing fights won't work, so if this is what you meant about exploit's, then go ahead with it, eventually you will have a problem signing anywhere. 1

I wouldn't ever do that to an Org owner. I meant specifically spamming QFCs to find easy opponents, and no-showing the tough ones.

You can easily scout the QFC before signing up, and only sign up when you see your opponent sucks.
gwad12345
You can easily scout the QFC before signing up, and only sign up when you see your opponent sucks. Or you can just use LOD's qfc can-crushing manual. 11

By cross-referencing filled slots with the latest fighters page? That is not fool-proof.

JakeF
I think Mike is considering removing the "Waiting for QFC" text so this exploit won't be possible anymore. And yeah, there are another ways to do it and be 100% sure who is signed for QFC in a specific city. Billy, If you want, send me a pm and I'll explain you.
AdamHolland
The fact that people are doing this on a daily basis (the QFC scouting) is not news to me, I noticed it almost immediately when I signed up and of course humors basically has this as a way of life and is not shy to tell people about it. But it's the first time I'm hearing about this NC thing.

Why would he do a NC in an org when he can just reject the fight? Topic is about waiting to see opponent's skills after the fight is booked, which happens only in QFC. 1
aylib
How do you scout QFC waiting fighters? I just saw green text "Fighter Waiting". I thought it was very odd that whenever I'd place strikers in QFC they'd always end up facing grapplers, and vice versa. Not always, but frequently.
AdamHolland
Just go here: http://www.mmatycoon.com/latestfighters.phpOpen the last 20 created guy's, look for the one's pending fights and then go build a 25 year old MT/Clinch guy and win. It's pretty standard issue that mentor's are instructing new players to do this to get the maximum spin2win win bonus from new players but it's obviously fairly cancerous to the game in general, but by the time a new guy figures that out it's a bit late.

This is not working quite a lot.. There could be fighters created 2-3 months ago and still able to sign for QFC level 1. It would take a lot of time to go back 3 months and check every fighter created in a city.

Actually its not so hard. Two days ago I checked all Hilo fighters who fit 265+ weight class and it took me about 10 minutes.
Timqwe
1. Is it even possible to miss weight in QFC'S? I think someone told me once it isn't possible. 2. Can you even lose that much energy training. Since you have to be able to cut to 145, can you even get up to around 147, since your fighter will do a second cut if he misses weight

I where not scouting anything I just checked how are fighter build. Its very important to know how others are playing to be the best at the game. You allways have to keep your guard up. 3

Yeah, the most appropriate way to get in touch with the best fighter builds is checking all 265+ fighters created in Hilo for the last month. This should be added to LOD's holy book of can-crushing. 3

If I have a 265+ fighter in Hilo how its bad to see what competition I have and how other fighters are building their guys to know the best way around the game and the best way to keep my fighter improving and going to the top as fast as possible? 1
AdamHolland
In theory it's not, but we both know what you are actually doing so... why even argue the point?
bjornmma1
Why bother taking time to investigate who your opponent would be if you do a qfc? Just sign up and fight whoever it is. QFC is just to test hiddens, not to build a career around.

For old manager QFC is to test hiddens but not for managers who are few days, weeks or even months in the game. 2
