RegularJohn Posted June 3, 2017 Report Share Posted June 3, 2017 Yah, with sliders u can break clinch pretty often but arent the kick boxing rules that ref separates fighters almost immediately after clinch? Sorry, not watching a lot of fighting. Also, it's good that MMA engine uses a lot of wrestling for clinches but i don't like that it wasnt changed for KT. Glory has the one immediate knee-separate rule; K-1 Japan allows no clinching and Kunlun allows a good flow of clinching where a guy can keep throwing knees if he's active. unlimited clinch like Tycoon KT would be more like muay thai but then again punches are more effective in the clinch than elbows and knees which is a crazy concept. IMO KT should just implement standing elbows and outside knees and become KT Muay Thai. But if it's meant to run like a classic K-1 style fight then it must include knees from the outside and immediate separations from the clinch after one strike. The original Dynasty started off as Convicted Dynasty K-1, I was involved with it from it's inception. Hence the tie-breaker goes to the O.G.
