I made a certain fighter build so that he would not require that much training before his first fight and now all of a sudden the rules chance and we get a month, so an extra two weeks..? With the two weeks that are in the rules, almost nobody is testing. Now it seems to be 4 weeks of training, so then most of us would have created multiple creations and tested then, as there is then time for that... Rules have been changing on the fly and frequently in this one. I personally made 4 fighters, tested their learning speed and have test fights this weekend. I will not be announcing a fighter until then If I would have known that we all of a sudden would possibly get 4weeks of training instead of the announced 2 weeks, I would have created multiple builds as well and test. I hope that the tournament boss explains if it is two weeks as stated, or if the rules change now (shooting multiple managers who read the rules and used it as a guideline, in the foot). Well, he did try to make rules but people kept complaining "this is going to involve luck, please change that. How can you be sure we will hit 360K ID by this date (OBS: we did)? Please wait 360k to set date. Yadda yadda yadda" creation date will be 30th of march, and the tournaments first round will begin on 16th of April, all of this will be NZ time as it's where I am. Bonkers. yeah eveeryone complained when i choose the creation date but looks like my prediction was spot on but that doesnt matter since i listened to the competitors. It's kinda hard to run a tournament when half the managers are really active then the other half that haven't put their fighters forward yet. I'm doing my best to keep this as similar to PFL mma season, Just a kickboxing version. doesn't take a genius to work this part out, google PFL season rules and your there..... 90% of managers would prefer 4 weeks since these will be long term projects for the majority of us and the future of the lightweight kickboxing scene. The 10% that want 2 weeks I apologies but this will lead to more boring ass fights/decisions etc, lets give our fighters some time to build str and skill (thats why i said 4 weeks. then its all on) . so any last opinions? or is everyone satisfied with the rules finally? What makes you think 360k will hit by then? Ok, so creation date is whenever 360 turns, got that. Having an even number of fighters is important so everyone has the same opportunity to earn points. For a balanced tournament, in the "regular season", each fighter should fight every other fighter. Off hand, it looks like you didn't think this through 100%. If you go w/ season+playoff format, you can't have just 5 rounds in the regular season(I'm sure I don't need to explain the reasoning behind that). You would need to have a REALLY long tournament. With 16 fighters, you should do a simple 16 man bracket style and call it a day. So, you either have a really short tournament, or a really long one. If you go w/ the middle ground, results may not represent the best fighter in the tournament. Sidenote: Sometimes having a fight every 2 weeks is impossible due to fighter injuries/cuts, but that can just be a stipulation of the tournament. A "deal w/ it" type of situation. There shouldn't be luck involved in a tournament likes this. May as well just pull names of winners out of a hat. The best fighter should win, that's the logical outcome. If my fighter fights 5 managers who don't know what a slider looks like and Alfreds fighter fights 5 top managers, it won't be a fair tournament. What makes you think 360k will hit by then? Yeah i realise this now, it is what it is, as we are in a pandemic atm and rules have to be changed to meet the new laws now to please me and stick to my guns. tourny starts april 28th. that is final. 6 rounds - that is final if your injured or cut you still fight - that is final 1.5mil to the winner 600k to 2nd 250k to 3rd train hard n no weight supplements, that is all. rules have stayed the same from when i first stated the tournament so their should be no confusion nor complaints (except start date, but this should be seen as a blessing) . I will not kick out my (now handicapped) fighter, but if you manage to find a replacement, do not hesitate to let me know and he can take my place. Is this when the first round of fights will happen, or when managers have to announce a fighter and the fights will happen X weeks from April 28th?
