Instead of avatar of the year maybe the nominated artist could attach 5 of there best pieces, same could be said for Designer of the year. Why would that award need to be split up, when as you said there have been a lot of activity as for avatar creations? However, there hardly has been non-avatar designs this year, at least judging from the forums, so why split that up? Not that I can mention a lot of it, like most people I only remember what I have seen the last two weeks or so which is always a problem for the award voting. Mostly org owners can attest to this. Rei has made a nice chunk of the logo's and he also has displayed his work in an excellent manner. So if the Designer of the year was to focus on posters and such a collection of the artist top work would also bring some much needed attention as well.
