Covid has killed me, i could be dying… not literally but I feel like being dramatic.

you know what else I dramatic? A DRAW. My shit tournament running ass didn’t think of that… I honestly have no idea what to do in case of a draw.

I'm thinking just have a bigger Winners bracket, and let them move on. I have had suggestions to “Judge the fight myself” but that seems unfair. So im coming to you guys for advice.

I'm thinking I let them keep their lives, and have a bigger winners bracket, and let a loser have a bye now we are uneven.

Tournament so far!

Better late than never right? With me passing on from wolves, my holiday concluded, and recovering from Covid. After 3 long weeks, finally, the Hop has come back! To the forums.

Now, after that horrible rock impersonation I wanted to start off with a recap of important events thus far.

Round 1

Bounty Failed.

Garon Knightly had the first opportunity at the $250,000 cash prize but fell short, after Osama ate 2 heavy shots, but the third shot missed which allowed the counter takedown, and it was all over from there. Osama keeps the bounty alive, and knightly loses a life.

We had Trimms, Osama and Marku finish via TKO, so they might have Power to look out for.

The lone submission came from Tochukwu who could be the main real threat on the ground if no body has defensive grappling.

Overall, this was the warmup round, 8 fights, 4 lives lost.

2 Lives:

Osama, Trimms, Tochukwu, Ferreri, Hooez, Lagana, Marku and Foster

1 Life:

Visconti, Knightly, Pekalla, Mo, Bhate, Balland, Griggs, Wyatt

In Conclusion

You can tell I’m on my phone at work so the structure isn’t amazing, and nor will round 2’s. But better late than never.

8 fights, 4 finishes, 4 lives lost. Bounty is STILL active.

the final round of my neglect. Hopefully going forward I have new time and motivation.

Round 2

Bounty Failed.

This time Ignacio Ferreri fails to claim the bounty. Although more valiant than Round 1’s bounty hunter, This survived until round 2, a brutal mauling that was eventually stopped by the referee, Failing the bounty and losing a life… however I personally believe Ferreri will go far In the loser bracket, especially with his Round 3 opponent in balland, potential fight of the night coming there.

Tochukwu AGAIN with the lone bloody submission… This guy is now in my opinion the scary submission guy you don’t want to face, but instead of an arm bar from top, the bastard landed a triangle from bottom. Dangerous In both areas.

Trimms, and Osama both with another TKO each, again displaying power on the ground and clinch respectively.

This time around though, Marku, instead of a finish… got a draw with Lagana? Look I didn’t even consider this, so I came to the forums asking you people what I should do. The ultimate conclusion was a rematch the next week on a WFC card… This rematch resulted in Lagana being victorious! Holding onto his life. Marku, after losing just 1 life, was fired! Absolutely brutal scenes.. I got in contact with the manager and he will try grab him from the FA list before round 3, if not, we could be looking at a bye for someone with 1 life remaining, who knows.

4 people have their lives in tact, Trimms the clinch rapist, Tochukwu the submission artist, Osama the most wanted, and Lagana, the round 3 bounty hunter.
4 people were eliminated this time around, Visconti, Bhate, Griggs and Wyatt. Press F to pay respects. Or Press S to say “suck shit”

Round 3, I won’t touch on, I’d rather be home with a computer instead of hiding from bosses at work on my phone, but LAGANA is the round 3 bounty hunter after a strategic decision made by Tochukwu, more on that in a few days.

Good write up under the circumstances. My boy Ferreri is training hard , he wants the bounty so he can buy his mom and pop a new tractor.

Well he might have a chance in the future! Just go out there and put some guys away and you will get that tractor.

Tournament so far!

Round 3

Bounty Failed.

This time Lagana stepped up to the plate, landing 100% of his strikes, but it was not enough to knock out Bin-Semen. Osama landed 60 ground and pound strikes to finally put the Granite Lagana away and keep the small $250,000 bounty.

With 2 fighters with both lives left, they face off in round 4. Osama defends his bounty against the submission specialist Tochukwu after he (to my surprise) defeated Bedgars Trimms “his husbands pubes” via armbar in 44 seconds! Tochukwu now has 1 Triangle and a trio of arm bars in just as many fights! This rounds bounty will be a banger!

The next fight i would like to give a spotlight too is Trimms v Balland, not only are these guys evenly matched in different areas, it’s Alex K v Alfred Winterbottom, these managers are top quality and know them game incredibly well. Whoever wins this, in my opinion, will survive the losers bracket. Trimms will come in with his clinch work, stall and brawl technique and Balland will try keep it in the middle and punch Trimm’s lips off, just the same way that he eliminated Ferreri, with a clean right hook to put the lights out!

Lagana is the next who lost a life to Osama, but he plans to rectify that by putting away Marco Mo, Who had a STELLA performance. If I can some up that performance in a few words. Would be Underdog, Aggression and Volume! Absolute insane mixed martial arts performed in that fight where he eliminated the favourite, who was a grappler.

The final fight is a grapplers delight between Hooez and Foster, wait? Foster? The fighter who had 70% morale and 90% energy? Their manager has abandoned his cause… Foster shown amazing potential, but if his manager doesn’t log on, he will be sure to lose against Mackin Hooez, the Brown belt who might rival Tochukwu on the ground. Eliminating Marku with a perfectly executed arm triangle.

Side Note!:

IF Osama wins, he will be in the Grandfinal… fear not, if you beat him in the grandfinal you will MISS the $250,000 bounty, but you will SECURE the $750,000 bounty plus winnings! So Goodluck out there!

Round 4

Bounty CLAIMED

The $250,000 bounty on Osama’s head was claimed! In…. Insanely easy fashion. Osama secured the instant takedown, and was tapping out by the first submission attempt in the fight. 18 second victory for Tochukwu! Congratulations!

Tochuwku now has a bye, and will see the winner of the loser bracket in the grandfinal in early October.

Trimms in his fight eliminated Balland via BRUTAL clinch aggression, landing an absurd amount of strikes that would render most men unconscious.

Lagana eliminated Mo in my favourite fight of the tournament so far! The stand up striking prowess of Lagana landed over 100 strikes on the feet to cruise to a unanimous decision from the judges. This guy in my opinion might not win the whole thing, but easily a fighter I’m going to be excited to see how he goes in the future, an exciting fight style!

Hoeez eliminated Foster  via…. Forfeit? Fosters manager quit. So not much to say there.

We have 4 more fights ahead of us! First off we have the final bounty fight, Osama will seek to retain the final bounty that’s worth $750,000 to a vicious clinch mauler in Trimms. But can Trimms keep the fight standing ? If not, he might be in for a long night, and an exit from the tournament.

Next we have Hoeez v Lagana. This is your classic striker v grappler scenario. I hope Lagana wins due to his exciting efforts, but I know just how hard takedown artists are to overcome so I’ll predict a submission victory. However I hope Lagana comes out on top for the fans.

The winner of these 2 fights will face each other, for the right to take on the leader in the grandfinal.

2 fights in this round, loser bracket finals in the next round, then the grandfinal in the round after. Goodluck everyone

Sorry gents, had a close family member get taken off of life support on the day of the event.

I won’t be doing a write up.

the tournament is still going and rewards are still being handed out. I’ll just be a bit less vocal about it.

Condolences on your loss.
