Rei
Before the Budokai Fighting Federation took Tokyo by storm and dominated the 330k race, Bushido did the same at 290k. But prior to either of these unforgettable promotions, lived another organisation that played host to the toughest fighters Japan had to offer. Its name however did not seem to reach foreign shores in anything more than odd whispers, and its existence itself was all but assumed to be nothing other than a myth. Well, it was no myth. And now it is back, abandoning the shadows and moving into the neon spotlight of the Tokyo megatropolis for the first time in history. Who are we? Shinjitsu True Combat is the latest - and soon to be greatest - promotion to join the 400k+ race. We will look to provide young fighters with the opportunity to reach their potential and exceed it, by delivering fair fights at a pace decided by the managers. You will not be forced to take short notice matches nor punished for rejecting offers with good reason here at Shinjitsu. For a contract or any questions you may have, contact me in-game or here on the forums. All divisions Featherweight -> Heavyweight will be STRICTLY for 400k+ fighters Super-Heavyweight will be reserved for Open ID, relevant superfights, or ex-islanders (pending) Bantamweight will remain closed as there's never enough interest. When the ID ticks over the 400k mark, we will officially begin our hunt for talent. Hopefully with the next Island season "coming soon" then it shouldn't be too long a wait! 3
Rei
Since the birth of mankind, a memory has stirred in the genes of all living beings. A memory so ancient and so terribly primal that for millennia, it alone has delivered our species to the most absurd of heights – and it too can be blamed for dragging men to the darkest depths imaginable. To it, one may attribute the accomplishments of all of history’s greatest heroes; from the leaders of the bloodiest campaigns of conquest to the minds behind the most enlightening of scientific discoveries. This precious memory, so easily forgotten in times of peace and rather ignored by those who refuse to acknowledge their unsavoury origin, is an evocation of combat. In other words, it is a memory of fighting as a means of survival. Without such a driving force mankind would surely perish, as an absence of it would be the rejection of life itself. An absurd denial of one’s own flesh and blood. This raw and fundamental memory is buried deep within the heart of the warrior. By sword or by fist, they each seek to discover its deeper meaning, unknowingly or otherwise. With enough soul-searching and blood-spilling, one may come to learn what it is – this terrible truth within. Will you? Coming soon.

Rei
STC1| SILVEIRO x GRAVES 24.12.23 STC2| Middleweight Grand Prix Round 1 31.12.23 STC3| TO BE ANNOUNCED 07.01.24
Rei
Well here we are folks, now only a couple nights out from our inaugural event. From the shadows of the grand Bushido Ace Arena, named after one of the city of Tokyo's finest promotions in history (I'm not biased by the way), Shinjitsu True Combat will take their first step into the public eye. STC 1| Silveiro x Graves will take place on December 24th, on the eve of that Holy Day - with STC 2 following one week later, on New Year's Eve. STC1| Silveiro x Graves Event Preview Brought to you by RECHARGE - Bringing you shockingly good supplements for all your needs. Main Card Main Event Openweight Division Kevin “King of the Beach” Silveiro (8-0-0, STC Debut) vs. “Doctor Neon” Deon Graves (4-2-0, STC Debut) The Main event of the evening will see the first bout in our special openweight division as the former CFL Welterweight Champion Kevin Silveiro takes on SSD veteran Deon Graves. Carrying an undefeated record of 8 victories and 0 defeats, Brazil’s Silveiro looks to continue his streak this evening while the New Yorker in the other corner hopes to bounce back from a setback in his previous fight. A grappler at heart, “King of the Beach” always seeks to finish his opponents and has managed to do so in all but one of his fights - one in which he faced a brown belt bjj practitioner. Despite reports that he has begun to sharpen his striking skills, it’d be no surprise to anyone if Silveiro seeks to make it another grappling bout. Graves, otherwise known as “Doctor Neon” is skilled in more areas than one as he is a sharp boxer but also holds a purple belt in BJJ to remain dangerous on the ground. In his last victory, Graves knocked his opponent out in the very first round and has also submitted three of his other adversaries. One must imagine that he will look to keep the fight standing where he has the advantage over his opponent Silveiro. Co-Main Event Lightweight Division Don Gable (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. Esteban Cinco (1-0-0, STC Debut) Much like the event’s headliner, the co-main event of the evening will also see America and Brazil go head to head as Iowa’s Don Gable meets Rio’s own Esteban Cinco. Having made his MMA debut not too long ago, Gable carries a record of 1 victory and zero defeats as he looks to extend that sole victory into a streak. Similarly experienced is Cinco, who also recently made his first ring appearance where he snatched a victory. Gable is reportedly a very skilled wrestler, with adequate boxing to support his grappling. As his first fight lasted less than a minute however (closer to the 30 second mark, even) the extent of his skills is mostly unknown. What we do know is that isnt shy to come out hard and heavy, swinging for the fences from the first bell. Cinco has a varied but unspecialised skill-set – being somewhat competent at all areas of the game without any particular thing standing out from the rest. In his debut, Cinco engaged both on the feet and in the clinch until he took his opponent down, where he proceeded to submit them in an awfully tight leglock. Gable will wanna keep this one standing while Cinco will likely seek out submissions. Main Card Light-Heavyweight Division Colt “Maverick” Lynch (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. “Jumpin” Jacob MacDonald (1-0-0, STC Debut) In the third fight of the main card, everything’s bigger in Texas as the tall Colt Lynch faces off against Canada’s Jacob MacDonald. Both men are fresh off of victories on their regional scenes, with Lynch racking up fifteen minutes of cage time on his debut and MacDonald’s bout ending shortly before the end of the second round. No doubt both will be looking to capture their second W and keep their momentum going. The man in the red corner this evening, nicknamed “Maverick” is a boxer at heart, with some respectable wrestling defences to back up his hands. Lynch spent all fifteen minutes of his debut pouring a beating onto his much younger opponent who could not seem to successfully respond with any kind of offence. 30-24 was the score across all judges cards as the Texan picked up his first victory. In the other corner stands a wrestler in MacDonald, whose grappling skills outshine that of his opponent this evening. On his first outing, “Jumpin” leapt at the chance for victory as he dominated his opponent with grappling exchanges, drowning him under the assault of ground and pound until he could take no more. One must imagine that Lynch will look to keep the fight standing while MacDonald will try to take it to the mat. Main Card Bout Heavyweight Division David “The Admiral” Robinson (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. Jorge “Loco” Rodriguez (1-0-0, STC Debut) America meets Mexico in this one as Key West’s goliath David Robinson takes on the horizontally gifted Jorge Rodriguez. In his MMA debut, Robinson met fellow Shinjitsu fighter Big Hell (then 2-0-0) in a bout that saw him grab a KO victory in just over 20 seconds. Rodriguez also found himself against another promotion-mate as he dispatched Amr Zeineldin in what would be a shared debut. Robinson’s primary skill is his boxing which is respectable, backed up by some decent wrestling. Not much is known about how he likes to use his skills inside the ring as his only appearance ended before most of the crowd had settled into their seats. We do know though that Robinson looks to come out with his hands up and combinations at the ready. Rodriguez on the other hand is a grappler, boasting superb wrestling and a blue belt in BJJ. From watching his first fight, it's clear that the Mexican prefers a strategy of getting his opponent to the floor without a second to waste, where he then looks to get to mount where he can seek a finish with strikes. Like some of the other fights on this card, this one is set to be a striker vs. grappler fight where the winner will be the one who manages to dictate where the action takes place. Main Card Bout Heavyweight Division “Sir” Reginald Helmsley (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. Orlando “Ice Cold” Williams (MMA Debut) Opening up the main card of this event are two big British heavyweights as muay thai specialist Reginald Helmsley meets boxing world reject Orlando Williams. After picking up a victory on Helskini’s regional scene, Helmsley is currently 1-0-0 as a professional. Although very experienced as a boxer, Williams has yet to debut in MMA. In his first outing, Helmsley saw himself taken to the mat in the opening seconds but managed to expertly slip away and back to his feet. From there he unleashed a torrent of pain on his poor opponent by way of elbows, knees and leg kicks before closing the show with a brutal head kick that sent his foe to the shadow realm - who he thanked after the fight as they were also his sponsors. As we said earlier, “Ice Cold” has yet to debut in MMA and so the extent of his ability is largely a mystery. We know however that he is primarily a boxer and was allegedly expelled from that sport due to “his poor behaviour both inside and outside the ring.” It will be interesting to see if he can avoid the deadly offence of his opponent tonight and edge out a win on his debut. This will no doubt be a war. Undercard Preliminary Bout Middleweight Division Anderson “Spider” Adesanya (1-0-0, Debut) vs. Michael “Cobra” Page (MMA Debut) Preliminary Bout Lightweight Division “Mr. Primetime” Nick Diamond (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. Ejnar Korsgaard (1-0-0, STC Debut) Preliminary Bout Middleweight Division Alessandro Silva (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. Keskikokoinen Kaveri (1-1-0, STC Debut) Preliminary Bout Welterweight Division “Saucy” Sheldon Soucy (1-0-0, STC Debut) vs. Rafael Dieseiros (1-0-0, STC Debut) Preliminary Bout Middleweight Division Zoran Broznic (MMA Debut) vs. Sun-Ji Roh (MMA Debut) This event is sponsored by ZERO Fightwear - Tokyo's freshest clothing company that offers products for all needs and purposes, from training gear to casual wear. Official Shinjitsu merch is set to launch in 2024, so keep your eyes peeled! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are rumours that a mahjong hall in Ikebukuro is doubling up as an illegal bookmakers for Japanese MMA. We cannot confirm nor deny these claims. 2

That's two sons of Budokai fighters now on the roster and that makes me proud!
