Bob Slay Posted April 27 Author Report Share Posted April 27 Hello RSE Managers & anyone interested in the Org. I have agreed to take over as Org Manager at RSE as Don Frye no longer had the time available, a big thanks to Don for all his hard work keeping things running smoothly, and a big thank you to Jeffrey before him who founded the org and who provided a home for many fighters. If anyone would like to be more involved in RSE please let me know, there are opportunities for a poster creator & fight writer if anyone fancies trying their hand as those aspects. First on my agenda was seeing how each division looks & first task was to retain talent, so I have sent out a bunch of contract renewals for fighters who only had 1 fight left, I will be changing the contract structure some but that will filter in over time. I have also gone back over the historical events that had not yet awarded any "of the night" bonuses & handed those out. Both prior org managers had issues with managers declining fights & not giving any reasons for doing so, moving forward I will not be accepting that behaviour, if you cannot give a good reason for declining a fight that fighter will be put on a list, 3 declined fights with no reason & that fighter will have their contract terminated and I will not be getting into a protracted debate about it, if you can't be bothered to inform me I can't be bothered to organise fights for you, simple as that. I look forward to working with all of the good managers who have fighters in RSE though, if you have concerns or complaints and can keep them brief & to the point I will look at what changes are reasonable to make. We were all shocked when Dino took it on and in the end, having to log in every day was doing his head in. Your efforts have saved the sanity of one Scotsman. Bob Slay Posted May 15 Author Report Share Posted May 15 I have some slots open on the RSE schedule availabale for test fights or grudge matches for the following dates: 1 slot - Saturday-May-25th-2024-St. Petersburg 2 slots - Saturday-June-01st- 2024-St. Petersburg Please PM me if you have fighters available you would like to test on these dates, I'm willing to offer a decent 1 fight deal to fill up these vacancies. Bob Slay Posted May 15 Author Report Share Posted May 15 I am putting this org up for sale, if it does not sell in 7 days then I will let the last events run & close it releasing everyone who does not have a fight booked already. The last 2 managers quit for a bunch of reasons & I'm also doing the same. Plenty of good managers, far too many problematic ones. The final straw was having my motivation to run the org turned around & used against me, that really pissed me off. My own fighters in RSE were here for months before I took over - which I only did because it was either that or the org was going to be closed - and somehow becoming the org owner & having kept my own fighters in it (nowehere else for them to go at their ID range) seemingly automatically makes me a corrupt asshole, no benefit of the doubt, no evidence of foul play required just automatic judgement.
