Team Reynolds has won its third belt in the SFO! Congratulations to Aleksey Ivanov! Thank you Matt Spartan for putting up a very good fight. I will be expecting Ivanov-Spartan III very soon.

Good luck to Charles Martel in his title defense tomorrow!

uh no- release my fighters from the SFO. That's what you agreed to do. If you want to back-peddle on your word I have more than enough proof to show.

-*and as a side-note, I'm not fighting a single fucking more fight for your organization no matter what. Try to dry my guys out, they will just train in the mean time*-

Typeout!:SFO’s Weekly Review vol.22

Chris Nylan back on duty, reporting on all the goodness that the SFO brought us and Tycoonland in the past week. Since our last edition of Typeout!: S.F.O.’s Weekly Review, right after FIGHTIN’, an event so originally named, Andy Warhol himself called to beg SFO owner extraordinaire and bowling enthusiast L Steve The H to let him do the event’s poster (but since Warhol has been dead for 13 years now, Steve politely declined the offer and saved a few bucks), and spent the whole week promoting SLAM, an event that had the whole city talking about it in the days leading up to it. Two title fights, with the Welterweight AND the Heavyweight belts on the line, lots of fights involving division-top-tier contenders and two of the first BMM tournment’s fighters taking on each other was sure to get the crowd fired up at Hayashi’s lounge last Saturday. The 108+ event rating and the truckload of cash Steve made also point in that direction. Also, for the first time in Typeout! history, I have only one event to cover this week, so it’s kind of an easy week for me. Let’s get this thing started so I can kick back and enjoy a cold one (or many, actually) during all the free time I have today!

Hi fight fans, Jimmy Butler here. I got my ass handed to me in SLAM, going 2-8, by far my worst day of predicting ever. And, to be honest, one of the correct predictions was Samuel the Rambler, whom I only half-heartedly backed to win. So this week, I am really digging deep... in to my pocket and flipping a coin to call winners. Nah, I’m not going to do that, but I can’t guarantee anything since it is Sunday and I have two small children who are demanding that I make superhero costumes for them and play with them. RETUNED takes place at Hayashi’s and since it seems to be the only spot L. Steve the H. books anymore, we are considering changing the name to HayaSFO’s. Should be some great fights tonight, including an SFO bantam weight title defense by Charles Martel, another Marvel-Biobonds fracas, and what should be a clinic in MMA by Barry McLean.

Prez: The SFO has a few events coming up at the Expo! Get your tickets while they are available.

Blood Face isn't my top fighter. I would fight your Panda but his hype/popularity is non-existent.

We can arrange fights between us but it will have to be at the Convention Center in Las Vegas--Home of Grudge Match Fighting.

Please release both Blood Face and Rambler--and after tonight, Joel Bailey and Crazy Face-- from SFO as agreed upon you, I, and others.

As far as Murder Face goes, it's hard to talk shit about a 1.) legend 2.) has useless everything. You see, if Murder Face wins, he wins gloriously; if Murder Face loses, he will lose gloriously. There really is no hating this guy.

"Human Highlight Reel" Edward Brannigan [ 36586 ]

My opponent is one dimensional grappler, I know that he wants to take the fight to the ground, but as we all know my wrestling credentials are much better and I doubt he will be able to do that. So his options are to get beaten for 15 minutes or to give up early. I of course am aiming for the KO of the night. Lets say head kick, second round.

I have a message to heavyweight fighters in SFO.

Samuel The Rambler [ 68677 ]

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/takedown.gif

The Rambler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The Rambler wants to take a breather but Brannigan is having none of it.

Brannigan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brannigan.

The Rambler pushes down on Brannigan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Brannigan is looking to improve his position.

Brannigan wants to get back to full guard but The Rambler has passed into side control.

The Rambler working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Brannigan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The Rambler landing shots from mount.

Brannigan is in a horrible position here. The Rambler smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brannigan is looking to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub.gif

The Rambler with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The Rambler can't control as he wanted to and Brannigan manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

The Rambler is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brannigan!

The Rambler postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brannigan looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Rambler lands a big shot to the head and Brannigan winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Samuel The Rambler!

by top fighter I assumed you meant my best. Yes, Blood Face has the most hype and popularity after kicking too much ass as an underdog.

Why are you dodging, release my fighters

So much for a real opponent right?. If by real opponent, you mean a punching bag then you have no place in the SFO. Good strategy Paul, keep on clinching when Charles has been destroying there. MARTEL WINS AGAIN!

release my fighters

You had 2 titles before. You threatened and ordered me around. I released a bunch of your fighters even though you never full-filled your contracts nor returned signing bonuses, I had no choice in the matter because you had my org's hype hostage. You could have ran away with the champs or caused NCs with any of your fighters.

I invested a lot of money on your fighters giving your 0-0's very generous contracts, allowing training time when requested, negotiating larger contract when your fighters did/didn't fight, and dealing with your complaints and paranoia.

It's time for you to man-up and honour your contracts. :baaasmiley:

Wait, so I fulfilled my end which was to fight my remaining fights, and if any belts were retained, I would fight until I lost. Once the belts were gone you then went back on your word?

Should I make a big deal about this and show why I asked to leave and have my fighters released from the SFO?

A manager who had over 10 fighters in an organization--a place that clearly he enjoyed--suddenly demands to have his fighters released and the president of SFO obliges?

Nah-- not worth my time. You can go fuck yourself. Blood Face expires October 1st, Joel Bailey and Rambler will just train until January 1st. I'll be cutting Crazy Face soon.

Actually I haven't made a big deal about it.

I'm about to though. Just to show what people could possibly expect when they sign their fighters into this "organization"

Considering Steve agreed to not only myself but to others as well that he would release my fighters as soon as they completed their last fight, then went BACK on his word and is now not releasing them just to fuck with me. I showed up to all my fights. I told him I would defend the belt until I lost it. Turns out I lost both belts and immediately the lying piece of shit Steve L turns around and completely disregards the agreement we had made.

Shall we get into why I asked to leave? We shall. It's going to take some time to compile everything but no worries, you will see it soon.

You invested "a lot of money" and I invested over 10 of my fighters. If you call a 2k/2k/2k contract for a 5-0 Title Holder generous, then , well, I am not surprised. This is the shitty fighting organization we are talking here. "Allowing training time when requested," which I only asked for 2 of my fighters. The negotiation of a large contract was what...I asked if Razor Face could get something better than 2k/2k (or 2k/3k I don't remember) and told you that you could offer whatever at your own digression. Was that it? What complaints?

What exactly was I complaining about Steve?

We will get to that in a different thread and a different part of the forum.
