He has his first match coming up on Wednesday and is excited to see what he can do! 2018-10-24 Update - Goose has had his first fight now...and his opponent took him to the ground...which is the biggest mistake he could have made. Dink made short work of him at that point with some brutal ground and pound from front to back. He's won his first two via KO and Strikes, and has no plans to stop anytime soon! He's waiting for another opportunity in the QFC to see what other tools he can utilize to finish some poor bastard, but in the meantime wants to see who's interested! 2018-11-01 Edit: Good ole Phlegm took on his third QFC opponent last night, and it literally became a bloody mess. Opened up a cut on the sorry POS early...and then just kept brutally hammering away at that cut with elbow after elbow. Eventually the judge decided that this was more like something out of "Carrie" than a fight and ended the poor SoB's suffering. Still looking for an opportunity with the right group that fits him! But ultimately Axel's aggressiveness and ability to get those shots in ...and then defending himself when taken down to the ground... got him the Unanimous Decision. He made it to the fifth place playoffs, but struggled with his standup game and got knocked out a few times in the tournament. He is a ground specialist and would like to join a grappling org, otherwise he is willing to work hard on his standup skills and join any org that is willing to give him a chance. But he stopped into my office the other day after a particularly good workout over at JAG Gym and started talking about how if he just had that spark still, and maybe the energy of a hungry, young manager, maybe...just maybe...he could find that special something inside to bring it like he used to! Even at his age, I think this boy's got some hunger going there deep down, so who wants to consider giving him a go in their 185 division and see if he can knock off some of the big boys sitting up there at the top that are running through your ranks?
