How hard would it be to slow learning even more when fighters hit like 14 in a skill? To deter people maxing out so many skills - deter or even make it impossible time wise to reach 15 in too many skills ?

In terms of the fight engine it's like 2 lines of code to either have or don't have the two new skills, so that's not really an issue. It's all the page like fighter profile, creation, gyms etc which will need changing to have two versions of everything for island and non-island.
