I hope Mike keeps MMAT, flawed or not, I dont think it will last long if it gets sold especially to a group( no disrepect). People have good intentions but then when you are in there amongst the shite, maybe not so simple Best idea I have seen in this thread is about a community manager, although I dont know why anyone would want that job. If there was someone inclined though its probably a good option. A conduit between Mike and the crowd so anything in the pipe line that is in progress or coming is communicated early enough for people to prepare (or not) Mike should then just stay away from forums and get updates on suggestions from the conduit and work away (as slow as he wants) in the background and if people dont like it ....lifes a bitch At 12k a year, not worth putting up with all the hassle for a few weeks pay. Treat it as a sideline , a hobby that spins a bit of cash but if it does collapse, I wont lose any sleep either. Best of luck, hope it all works out

Undefeated Weekend Results To close of May we had an exciting weekend of fights, ranked undefeated fighters went 4-0 while fighters a win away from entering the rankings went 0-2. Firstly a fight you absolutely NEED to watch in case you missed it went out between "The Vung Tau Tiger" Jimmy Nguyen (395020) and defending champ Luuk Benjamin (383963) before I delve into the result just want to emphasise again how incredible it was. Ultimately we have a NEW champion in Nguyen who not only ended the reign of Benjamin but also ended his decision ways with an emphatic 5th round tko at 4:48 seconds. This one started of all Benjamin who was cutting, rocking and dropping Nguyen repeatedly, but Nguyen survived and as the rounds went on started to punish a tiring Benjamin with strikes of his own and better defense to avoid further onslaught from Benjamin. Nguyen began to incorporate takedowns with limited success until the 5th where Nguyen unloaded with brutal gnp for the stoppage and now enters the PFP top 20. Such an impressive win and epic fight overall, Nguyen really upped his level tonight Benjamin came with a gameplan of steamrolling the challenger but after surviving the storm it was Nguyen who closed the show. Super excited for Nguyen's first title defense he definitely announced himself to all the elite fighters and is the new ranked 1 featherweight, a huge accomplishment with his undefeated record. Next up "Tempotius" Tout Petit Gigante (409524) remains undefeated in a competitive split decision victory over Elix "The Guillotined" Juarez (401202), Juarez secured the takedown early and fended off the sub attempts from Tout while also looking for the back, they exchanged top position a few times with the round ending with Tout on Juarez's back. In the 2nd Tout was more dominant securing a takedown of his own only to have his back taken but after defending the submission Tout reversed and spent the rest of the round on top hunting for subs. In the final it was Tout who again secured the takedown but against a more aggressive Juarez found the back where he attempted several subs, Tout defended well and reversed position again where he looked for his own subs, the round ended with Tout attempting subs from bottom full guard to close the round after another reversal from Juarez. Ultimately very close fight as it was scored overall the dominance of the 2nd and competitive of the 1st made me edge towards Tout against the more experienced Juarez but it was controversial so next Tout will be looking for the rematch. With this decision win Tout moves out of the finisher rankings but of course continues his ascension in the undefeated ranking with another victory. Ratchanasak Sitsongrit (400026) moves to 12-0 with a majority decision victory over Muharib Xornimada (402709) who put on a good showing. Muharib likely took the first with his work from clinch but very competitive thanks to the kickboxing of Ratchanasak, in the 2nd Sitsongrit had much more success on the feet avoiding the clinch and rocking Muharib with a slick counter shot although late in the round Muharib did find the td and threaten with subs but a decisive round for Sitsongrit, very competitive 3rd Muharib found success in the clinch early, Sitsongrit had success landing his own strikes having most of his success once he broke clinch but Muharib found it again and cut Sitsongrit in a very competitive round, despite being taken down in the 4th Sitsongrit was much more effective in the striking winning him a dominant 4th with another competitive round in the 5th fought on the feet and in the later half clinched. Close fight judges liked the work of Sitsongrit but not much separated these two. With that win Sitsongrit earns his second career title and continues his winning ways. "The Hero" Kai Kataski (409089) is the new champion (2nd career title + 2 defenses of prior) in an impressive performance where he locked up the first round sub in classic Kai fashion. Kai showed solid striking defense against Frenk who came out aggressive but it was his intent to damage Kai in the clinch which was his undoing as it allowed Kai to pull guard and find that arm for the quick tap. After the fight Kai called out fellow undefeated 145er Rory Curtis but it seems he will have to defend his title before taking the chance for champ champ status over at the great and rising RMMA. Indio Perera (408388) suffered his first career defeat against Johnny Shelbey (409229), Indio came out swinging and wild but it was the slick and effective striking of Johnny which secured him the early KO with a cutting punch, a explosive counter which rocked Indio and another counter to shut off the lights. Hjallis Kalske (366843) suffered his first TWGC loss against Moldy Jello (328816), Hjallis got the takedown early but was sweeped, after a sweep of his own the rest of the match belonged to Jello who sweeped and transitioned his way to a 18-8 decision. That is it for May, June Undefeated Rankings will be out later today, time flies... Awesome set of fights next weekend and June should be a really fun month on this scene, a lot of great success at the moment that is keeping things really interesting.
