    • Selling the site is kind of a clusterfuck in itself, it isn't just here is the keys to the door and walk away. Mike would have to sell over all the IP rights in a contract and there would have to be protections in place to ensure nothing happens during that time. It complicates it even more selling to a group of players because they would have to set up a LLC in order to buy it so that no one can fuck over the others. As far as I am aware Mike has this as a sole trader rather than through a LLC so it couldn't just be a sale of a company. There would be a domain transfer required, you would have a server transfer required and a lot of other things. I actually think it would be easier buying a house in the UK (which is an absolute shitshow) than buying the site. It is possible but you would need someone to guide the parties through it.  You would have to get someone in to do due diligence on the site which will probably turn up that the site needs updated for security reasons and a full rework of the site is required - that will not be cheap and before people ran off Vlad that is what he was working on - perhaps it is still half finished in the background somewhere. It is why Vlad and Rush when they did an update would do something good but it would break other parts of the game. As far as I am aware that is two very experienced people in computing that both had trouble with the site as it is - so an update is required.  In reality what you are buying is the income the site makes (which is diminishing) and the fight engine. It is like buying a house that needs a full renovation but the bones of the structure are still in working order so you don't need to completely rebuild from the ground up and you can still live in the house while you are doing it.  The biggest hurdle would be finding a group willing to put in £30,000 to buy the site and then probably pump in more. If you were coming in with a programmer then they would have to quit their job in order to do this full time. It would have to basically be two programmers who have the sparetime to do the work and have the spare cash there to do it. I don't see people outside of programmers being able to afford to get the work done and buy the site unless they had a load of disposable income.  As a player of the game sometimes it is better the devil you know than the devil you don't.
    • Agreed.   Chuck is a good dude. I dont think he should be blamed for Mike not fixing something he was told about a long time ago. It was within the rules.
    • All good I’ve only got the one booked until Monkey tells me otherwise. I imagine multiple events will likely be needed to accommodate anyway, so up to you.
