Scooby Posted December 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2013 BEEF: Session II Welcome Back BEEF fans and managers, the fight gods have blessed us with a rivalry that should be for the ages, Gary Gravity and Keisuke Miyagi absolutely hate each other and that simple fact will give us a wonderful event tonight that most likely will result in a rematch scheduled real soon. On a card filled with talent and fighters looking to find hype in any cracks and crevices available we will have Montreal's underground rocking so hard we may not be invited back. Gary Gravity and Keisuke Miyagi both contacted me as soon as LFC 16 ended begging to get into the cage and do damage to one another. Gravity was rather angry after his title loss to Derek Burns where he was outmatched and struck repeatedly until the referee stopped the fight. He wanted to get back into the cage as soon as possible and I personally had to beg him to at least wait until his concussion test results came back. Keisuke was a polar opposite on that night, in the fight of the night he put Zlato Kuzmejniev to sleep with a tremendous head kick in the third round. Traditional fight strategies are of a fighter using his strengths against his opponents weaknesses dont really apply when fighters have such hate towards each other, in a rivalry like this, fighters may do whatever they possibly can to prove a point. As BEEF has really began to stir in the smacktalk threads its been almost a month since these two fighters have even addressed each other. It will be interesting to see this fight as well as the followup afterwards. The drama gets even better as Anthony Pettis has already Pwned Nelly Haynes previously in his career with his signature Kimura hold that would make a quadriplegic tap out within seconds. Our championship belts just got a face lift and It will be great to present the new look belts tonight but I believe both fighters want to take it home and it will come down to who wants it most and who prepared for it the best.
