  2. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14124901689021.png Vadim "The Dream" Kalashnikov (25-17) He is a recognised figure in 2nd tier competition, as an extremely powerful Heavyweight and as an owner of a beautiful KO reel. 24 of his 25 wins come by KO/TKO, although 16 out of his 17 losses are by Knockout as well. Maybe this is a part of why he's leaving the sport, at least as a fighter. The warrior which was formerly ranked as a #5 Super Heavyweight in the world announces his retirement. "Even though I'm 33 years old, I still have a strong skillset and a good striking base. It's just that I had a little problem with my ability to absorb strikes, which has risen to something big. With each loss, that problem has gone bigger and now I think it has reached that point were it doesn't allow me to compete efficiently anymore. I would like to fight more, but this is a more strategical decision, since I myself can see that my durability is just getting worse. Got to give the way for these youngsters!" - says Vadim. Now, let's take a moment to see some of the finest moments from Vadim's career: Even though Vadim didn't reach the top, he undeniably left a mark in the sport with his great KO Highlight reel and a huge fanbase acknowledging his way of fighting. Thank you for everything Vadim, you will always stay in our heart!!!

  3. You popped granite chin, what messed you up was a bad build, it seems you substituted clinchwork or striking defense for something else, possibly a takedown defense and then oversparrwd your guy. Just what it looks like from somebody who went for a similar clinch fighter and from somebody who scouted your fighter thoroughly to fight him

  4. *After a turbulent couple of days, the dust finally seemed to settle around the paternity case of Dean Sutherland Jr. In a shocking turn of events, Manuel «Salad» Tosen turned out to be the young man’s biological father. We caught up with Manuel on the barge in international waters where he runs most of his fighter’s training camps.* Reporter: «Hey Manny, thanks for having us. I guess you’re «Daddy Tosen» now.» Tosen: «What can I say, my semen is tremendously potent. My personal research team actually believe I’m single handedly responsible for the existence of the human race due to an unfortunate time machine accident in 12 years.» Reporter: «…right. Your relationship with Dean Sutherland has been very public for a short while now, but the readers need to know: What happened between you and Mr. Crisse?» Tosen: «Look, Mr. Crisse is the only man I’ve ever loved. However, that two timing bastard left me for a Thai ladyboy named Quang. He’s seven.» Reporter: «…» Tosen: «…» Reporter: «Is that even remotely legal?» Tosen: «You ever been to Thailand?» Reporter: «Point taken.. I am horribly disgusted.» Tosen: «We all are.» Reporter: «So, what do you intend to do with your newly discovered bastard son?» Tosen: «Stay on this barge until the alimony lawsuit his mother filed against me falls through, mostly. In the meantime I've written a little song about Mr. Crisse's new flame.»

  6. New York City, Peel Steel Towers Press conference called by Peel Steel, manager of Dean Sutherland Jnr, and owner of the World Famous Team Alpha Male fight team. Photographers and reporters fight to gain position as Peel Steel opens proceedings. Peel: “I’ve called this press conference in response to the TV show aired last night. While I am not surprised that ‘Convicted Inc’ have stooped to their usual low cheap ass level, the speed and timing of the broadcast I find wholly unacceptable, on the eve of the debut of the greatest talent to hit MMA since Jeremy Tonal.” Reporter: “Mr Steel, what is your response to the accusation that your managerial record is decidedly average, that you ran NGF into the ground and finally that Tosen impregnated your mother who is the real mother of Dean Sutherland Jnr?” There is silence in the room as a clearly irritated Peel Steel begins to speak. Peel “Firstly the picture quality of that TV programme was very poor, the reason, it’s a fake, I certainly wasn’t there for that bullshit and neither was Dean Jnr, and this just emphasises the lengths Convicted will go to, to keep face in obvious adversity. You can see me here and now, handsome, tanned and athletic, unlike my imposter who sources told me was Lance Templeton with a make-over, hence the podgy physic of a middle aged man who has had one too many donuts. The only saving grace I suppose is that they didn’t roll out that 5 and half foot ginger prince from Florida to impersonate me. As for the whole DNA test crap, I tell you this. Dean Sutherland knows the truth is out there and it is coming in the form of the documentary currently airing and he fears his relationship with Manny Tosen is in trouble as I have heard Tosen is getting increasingly agitated that the truth is Dean had once been with a women. Albeit a fucking ugly one. The documentary will expose a number of prominent Tycoon managers in this web of conspiracy, and Sutherland and Tosen are at the centre as experts at smokescreens and manipulation. I am committed to the truth, and to guiding Dean Sutherland Jnr to greatness.” Reporter “You are a class act as always Mr Steel. And to the comments regarding you being a scrub manager and running NGF into the ground?” Peel “Dean Sutherland Snr is entitled to his opinion and like his co Convicted inner circle is never shy in voicing it. What I can say is that MMA USofA have been in touch and will be previewing Sutherland Jnr vs Dominiguez. This is the most eagerly anticipated debut in Tycoon history. Dean Sutherland Jnr is a beast, and the fans are in for fireworks.”

  7. http://oi62.tinypic.com/10oh647.jpg USFC owner David Morrison stops by the studios to discuss USFC 36, 37, & 38! Helwani: I know you don't sit still for long, Morrison, so let's get right to it. The USFC is coming off of another terrific night of fights with USFC 36. Who stands out the most after that card? Morrison: I'd say that Ka\'Ra LeVass and Xavier David made the loudest statements. You don't hear much about LeVass as he's just quietly gone about his business. He's beaten Jergensen, Stallone, got the decision against Iron Igor, and now makes it four straight by imposing his will over an extremely tough Sun Ce. I'd have to say that this guy is a serious threat to anyone at 170. And what can you say about Xavier vs Wong? Great fight! Wong is no fucking joke, but David looked to be on another level. When these two came out launching head kicks at each other, the place went nuts. I didn't think we'd get out of the first round. Xavier's smart, he didn't rush when he first rocked Wong. He stayed patient, kept working, and pounced at the right time to get the finish. He's just two fights into his career and already someone for the top contenders to keep an on. Then you have Sakuri halting Cliff Anderson's three fight win streak, Curtis Mayfield effectively ending Lynch's stint in the USFC, newcomers Butch Hoffman and Rashad Wilkinson looked strong, and Lethal Larry looked as good as ever. Helwani: Yeah, I agree, LeVass looks to be improving every time out, and Xavier looks like a vet in there. Both seem to have bright futures ahead of them. So let's get into this weekend's action. We've got Edgar vs Faber, then the USFC takes back over with a card Saturday night, and the middleweight championship on Sunday night. Morrison: Not just any card, Helwani. Saturday night is Logan vs Romero 2! These two just fought a few weeks back in a bout that was expected to be a back and forth submission battle. Logan took him down immediately and fell straight into a triangle 36 seconds into the fight. Logan fans say that he just got caught, that it wouldn't go down that way again in 99 more fights. Romero responded to those claims by signing an immediate rematch. The guy is due his shot at the title, but he wants to silence the critics first. Helwani: I'm one of those who think Logan got caught. Just the fact that it ended so early leads me to believe it was a fluke. Morrison: Yes, but many think you're a fluke too, Helwani, yet here you are. I know Pj Bullet will have Logan ready for revenge, but Death Punch will have Romero ready as well. I have to give the edge to Romero. With a title shot on the line, I just think he wants this one more and his confidence level is through the roof right now. Helwani: Speaking of Death Punch, I hear he did the poster work for USFC 37, as well as for 39 and 40. Morrison: He's definitely a talented artist in addition to being the top manager in The Bomb Squad. Romero will come in with a new look on Saturday night, but this isn't a makeover show, Helwani. We've also got Jack Daniels laying his three fight win steak on the line against veteran Jake Wobinson, and one of the premier featherweight match ups in Jolly Leg Byrd and Chad Murray. Byrd's record doesn't give justice to just how good he is. He faced a number of lower IDs in his last org, but that advantage goes to him this weekend. Murray's a dangerous opponent for him though. Devin Skrumbellos has now won 13 of his last 14 and I expect him to have Murray peaking on Saturday night. It'll be Murray's powerful striking against Byrd's jit. Who do have for this one, Helwani? Helwani: I like Byrd to get the fight to the ground and finish it there. Morrison: Then I'm taking Murray by decision. Helwani: Do you dislike me that much? Morrison: Then we have The Battle of the Demons... Alistair Spong vs Simon Vale in what has turned into one of the more highly anticipated fights in USFC history. These two have been jawing at each other since signing, going back and forth over who's the real "Demon". The winner keeps the nickname, and I believe the loser will drop the moniker. The talk has gotten a little heated as Vale has included Spong's love of hockey, pissing off hockey fans worldwide. I think this one's going to turn into a good old fashioned brawl as emotions take over. Helwani: I think you're leaving out what these fighters bring into the cage, David. Spong has shown he can finish fights with his devestating head kicks. Morrison: You're Canadian, probably a hockey fan. Everyone north of the border, and every hockey fan from New York to LA, is hoping Spong will land one of those kicks. Vale walks around in a shirt that says "Puck Hockey"... during the Stanley Cup, no less! But, when you fight like Vale, you can get away with all of that. There's a reason he walks out to Motorhead's Iron Fist... the guy has rocks in his gloves! If you're picking Spong by head kick, then I don't have tell you how I think it ends. Helwani: Can we agree on a finish? Morrison: I'm done if you are. Helwani: Wait! USFC 38 on Sunday night, boss. A big match up for the middleweight crown tops the action this weekend as Marian Balkon steps in against legendary champion Jerome Seinfeld! Morrison: I'm loving this card! The prelims are stacked with USFC vets, some guys who've been with us from the beginning. The undercard isn't packing much hype, so it hasn't gotten the attention it deserves, but I'm always excited to see these guys fight again. Training has become a factor over the months, and I always enjoy seeing how they've improved, or changed their game plans around. Helwani: If you'd hire a writer, maybe they'd get the attention they deserve. Morrison: I don't speak Canadian, but I think you agreed that the die hard USFC fans, like myself, have been looking forward to seeing their favorites back in action. Bloodsport, the Campions, Noisy vs Jackson, Keats and Thacker... man these are big names, media coverage or not. These guys are the heart and soul of the USFC, grinders who just keep giving their all, fight after fight. Helwani: Let's talk about the main card. As you said, the Campions will be back in action, with Matthew taking on Marcin Elsner to lead it off. Both are coming off of two straight losses by way of knockout. How do you see this one going? Morrison: Let's say that if it were in the WOC, I'd leave it alone. Campion's record doesn't indicate how hard he fights. If he connects, this could be a short fight. On the other hand, he'll be in a world of shit if Elsner can take him down. Helwani: I think I'm looking forward to Carlos Soto vs Bosco O Neill more than any other fight Sunday night. This has KO Of The Night written all over it as neither man has been the distance. Morrison: Yeah, I don't think we'll be hearing from the judges on this one. O Neill has a good jit game, but he likes to bang it out. We may see him try to put that purple belt to use if Soto begins to find his range. Helwani: When Soto finds his range, its light out. Morrison: I hate to admit it, but you're right. Someone's chin is getting tested Sunday night. It may come down to who can take the better shot rather than who can land one first. This is not the fight to take a little break or go fetch another beer. Get the wife to do it, flag the waiter, but don't look away or blink. These guys will be throwing bombs, and no matter who has the better chin, I can't see anyone standing up to that kind of power for long. Helwani: Do you care to give a prediction? Morrison: Again, I don't speak Canadian, but I think you said that McGee vs John Galt is an early favorite for Fight Of The Night. Galt has had a rough start since manager Dave F signed him into the USFC, but you have to consider the level of competition that he's faced. After a good run in NYFN, Galt came over to face Seinfeld for the title in his first fight in the USFC, and then went to war with Marion Balkon. It doesn't get any harder than that, and it doesn't get any easier when Bobby McGee steps into the cage. McGee had a good run at Imperial, showing he can finish with a high volume of striking or grind out a decision if needed. These two are very closely matched. Both are capable of finishing wherever the fight takes place, but I think the judges might have to settle this one after all is said and done. Helwani: The USFC has a buzz around Logan vs Romero 2, and not much has been said about George West Jr vs Luiz Cruz 2, which actually headlines USFC 38. This fight has large implications for the middleweight title picture, some say more so than the Logan/Romero fight on Saturday. Morrison: Well, that some would be right if Romero loses. This is a big fight, but you're right in that it has sort of taken a back seat to the "Demon" rivalry and the championship co-headlining the same card. In the first fight, Cruz took West down and easily subbed him at the end of the first. That dropped West back. Then Cruz was the man to face Seinfeld, but got subbed by Romero, which has given more exposure to the Logan/Romero 2 fight. There's a pattern to suggest that Logan subs Romero and the winner of West Jr and Cruz is back in line. In any case, each fighter is in charge of their own destiny. I'm excited just thinking how it all might break down with the rematches and championship on the same weekend. Helwani: That brings us to the biggest fight of the weekend, Marion Balkon vs Jerome Seinfeld for the 185 title! There's been a lot of talk about Seinfeld going into the Hall Of Fame with a win against Balkon. Care to touch on that? Morrison: I bet you don't get invited to a lot of surprise parties. For fucks sake, Helwani. You have a bright future over at Rikers as a snitch when this gig falls through. Yes, Seinfeld wins, he's in. It's that simple. He's the first and only 185 champ in USFC history, winning the title at USFC 6, and defending it three times now. Neymar Junior set the bar high with his induction into the Hall, but Seinfeld is right there with him among the elite of the elite. He's already a legend, but another title defense, especially against a fighter like Balkon, and I think the Hall is in order. Helwani: What if he loses? Morrison: That's a real possibility. Seinfeld has walked through some of the best competition in the world, taking out his early opponents in dramatic fashion. His head kicks and flying knees have made it look easy, until his last fight against Bas Koning. He was tested in that fight and walked away with a decision, his title, and Fight Of The Night honors. But Marian Balkon is another step up in competition. Seinfeld and Balkon share common opponents in Galt and Kasady, with Balkon finishing both men nearly a round faster than Seinfeld. This fight is by far the biggest challenge either fighter has had. Helwani: Who are you predicting to win? Morrison: It would be hard to go against a dominant champ like Seinfeld, but I don't really see one fighter having a significant edge over the other. This is another fight to avoid in Wisdom of the Crowds. Helwani: Come on, bossman, close us out with one prediction. Who wins Balkon vs Seinfeld? Morrison: I'll tell you who wins.. with these two coming into to test each other, and themselves, with the title on the line in the toughest fight of their careers... all of the fans win, even you Helwani. Helwani: I guess that'll have to do. Check us out right here for Edgar vs Faber highlights and live coverage of the USFC from The Underground this Saturday and Sunday night!

  9. A recent TMZ article was posted on their website, here is a snippet of that article. After troubling rumours of evil activities at the Lords of War alliance headquarters we sent our ace reporter James Garcia to investigate these allegations. What he found was nothing short of scandalous and reprehensible acts of sheer heinous behaviour. We have a statement from Dean Sutherland here about his thoughts on the situation. “While I am glad TMZ has finally agreed to air the conclusion to their report on what goes on inside the Lords of War alliance, it must be said I feel sorry for the many innocent victims who have to live with the knowledge of what has happened. Peel Steel recently gave a statement claiming that it was his mother that me and Manne had slept with, while I know they look alike and could actually be the same person; the person in question was in fact his wife. He appears to be taking tips from David Cameron in swerving difficult questions. While he says we are entitled to our opinion, it appears he himself has accepted the fact he screwed up and his lack of knowledge in the MMA game has led to this vendetta against successful managers such as those in Convicted Inc; however this will not disguise the fact he is a down-and-out manager looking to be relevant . Speaking of irrelevant things, his weird infatuation with me somehow being born a woman which we all know was started by another irrelevant figure in Tycoon, so irrelevant in fact his name slips my mind. I am sure Peel and that other soppy vagina have a picture of me photoshopped in drag somewhere which to them is better than viagra. Now onto the TV show, which has made him a laughing stock in his home country of England. While he argues the fact that it was not him and the TV show was staged, there is evidence that he hires an actor for public appearances in America, in order to hide his true identity… you know in case someone points to the TV and says that it the man that touched my pee pee. The awful quality of the television show is because he can only afford a black and white TV. He claims it is New York’s own Lance Templeton; you know the guy the city built a statue and gave the key to the city for his accomplishments I think we all know that it was not Lance. We also know why he is pissed at Chris Karter; while Peel says he lives in a glass tower, it is actually an old greenhouse that Chris sold him, that might also explain the reason he is always making up shit; he is high.” The TMZ article is readily available at our website to read in full.

  17. Hi there and welcome to the Jeremy Kyle show. On today’s show we have a DNA test in order to find out who the biological father of Dean Sutherland Jr. First let us welcome Dean Sutherland jr and his manager Peel Steel. http://i59.tinypic.com/e5moeq.jpg Dean Sutherland Jr comes walking out in Nike cotton tracksuit bottoms and a tight fitting Lacoste polo shirt which is clearly a brazen attempt by Steel to show off his fighters physical attributes. Steel who advertises himself as a 6’3, an athletically built male with jet black hair on his Tinder profile starts swaggering out onto the stage. While his Tinder profile accurately describes his height, the athletically built part was a bit of a porky pie, literally, as he looked more like Castor Rollins than Alistair Overeem and that jet black hair was a mixture of brown and grey greasy hair with a horrible attempt at a comb over to cover the lack of hair. Jeremy – Welcome to the show gentlemen, it is a big day for all involved here. So Dean, Peel has been saying that you were named after your father who has requested this DNA test. Would you like Dean Snr to be your father? Dean – I don’t give a flying fuck. Jeremy – All of this came about after Mr Steel made some accusations about Dean’s personal life. Could this be a vendetta against you Mr Steel? Peel – Well yes, quite frankly I feel that is the case. Dean is jealous of the fact that his son will become a world class fighter and is trying to poach him away from me. I know my track record with fighters isn’t exactly great but Dean will turn that around. Jeremy – What about the accusation that Dean made recently in The Guardian that you are like the white Don King? Peel – Fictitious blabber. Jeremy – Ok, here is Dean Sutherland Snr and Manne Tosen. The crowd gives a round of applause as Dean Sutherland; 5’10 his frame filling out a classy grey Hugo Boss suit followed by Manne Tosen; 6’2 with a mop of blonde hair and beard to match comes out wearing a similar grey suit. Both men are holding hands as they walk onto the stage and take their seats. Jeremy – So here we are now, so Dean Snr, would you like Dean jr to be your son? Dean Snr – It would not bother me either way, Mr Steel should have had his promoting license taking away from him years ago and has no right to manage any fighters. Jeremy – How do you figure that one out? Dean Snr – His track record of failing is quite extraordinary, how about we look at his first venture Immorals. It merged into NGF giving it one of the most talented and youngest rosters in the game. It was primed for glory when Peel ran it into the ground and then sold it off to some penis cream salesman. Jeremy – Well, we have a show to run, so we cannot go through all Peel’s failures. Now we get onto the test. A man appears from the side stage and hands Jeremy an envelope which Jeremy opens and his jaw drops. http://i58.tinypic.com/foqelg.jpg Jeremy – In the case of Dean Sutherland Jr, Dean Sutherland you are NOT the father. Audible gasps from the audience are heard, as some sit there in shock. Jeremy – However, a second test was done at the request of Dean Sutherland Snr and this tests shows that Manne Tosen you ARE the biological father. “Flashback 19 years earlier” A young Dean Sutherland and friend Manne Tosen are hitting London on a night out. They arrive at some seedy bar in the east end of London. Both Dean and Manne start looking across the bar looking for some talent but none seem to be in sight. Dean – How about we try to pick up the ugliest chick in here and give her the Eiffel tower. Manne – How about no. Dean – C’mon look at that thing over there with that guy, 100 quid says I get her first. Manne – Challenge accepted. Dean and Manne wait for the man to go outside before approaching the women; she appeared to be in good spirits as she explained her husband was going on business for a year in America. Dean and Tosen spend no time getting this woman back to her place and give her the night of her life. In the morning as Dean stumbles out of bed he hits over a photo on the bedside cabinet and it falls to the floor. The picture shows this woman who has a face like a melted boot and a tall fat man who appears to be balding with brown hair… behind the couple is a banner which reads congratulations Mr and Mrs Steel.

  18. Insanity Presents http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1431524502i87.gif Insanity 87: Pedan vs Louis Venice Beach (6,500) 16 May 2015 Greetings! This is M. Maestro, temporary writer, providing you with a preview in this sure classic! Headlining this event is 145-pound champion, Martin Saint Louis defending his belt against Alexander “Angel” Pedan! Newcomers and veterans alike are also in this card providing you with exciting cage action! Let's get it on! Fight # 1: Jarvis Avalon v Ho Lee Fuk This lightheavyweight matchup features newcomer Jarvis Avalon (0 – 1) and mma veteran Ho Lee Fuk (4 – 6). The 25-year-old Avalon is set to make his debut here in Insanity. Avalon's training camp shows him as a fighter with versatile skills. But, he is said to prefer jiu jitsu and thinks of it as a lost art in mma. A few keypoints that Avalon has is his quickness coupled with solid boxing and powerful takedowns. His first fight as professional ended at a unanimous decision loss to journeyman fighter Ultimate Brutality (10 – 16). He hopes to make a great debut in Insanity and tally his first win. A veteran of ten fights, Ho Lee Fuk hopes to end a series of disappointing losses. He currently suffers from a four fight losing streak and a win against Avalon is just what he needs to get back on track. Fuk is another solid all around fighter and despite his misfortunes is still a formidable opponent. His strongpoints include an excellent boxing background, good wrestling and surprising flexibility. Fight # 2: John Paul Wani v Sisa Yiftos Our second lightheavyweight fight of this event presents undefeated John Paul Wani (4 – 0) head to head against Sisa Yiftos (5 – 5). Sudanese fighter “Freeborn” John Paul Wani is currently in a four fight winning streak and hopes to continue his good start as a mixed martial artist here in Insanity. Wani is an all-around fighter proficient in many fight disciplines. His 3 TKO victories is proof of his excellent boxing but it is also said that he has good wrestling too. There is also talks about his immense cardio but we haven't seen marks of it yet. Another fighter making his debut in the organization, this is John Paul Wani's chance to prove he is worth the paycheck. This might be Sisa Yiftos' last chance to prove that he is worthy to be in the organization. His first two fights in Insanity have all ended in vain and another loss here would make his career uncertain in the organization. Although his record might not reflect it, Yiftos is a gifted fighter with a wide set of skills. Scouts have already said that he is a world-class boxer and is insanely flexible. He also had sparks of brilliance in the past actually winning two fight of the night awards and one KO of the night award. He needs another fit of inspiration and the time is ripe for that moment. Fight # 3: Pony Mclovin v Nick Diaz We have a great welterweight match in strore for you as Pony Mclovin (7 – 2) is set to take on Nick Diaz (5 – 4). Pony Mclovin is an exciting fighter that fell out of form recently. He suffered two losses in a row and he looks to dispel the recent bad luck. Mclovin has a lot of tools in his kit but he is mainly known to be an excellent boxer. Five of his seven victories ended in (T)KO and he looks to add one more to the win column. He had attemted at a title before in his former organization in Powers Fighting Championship but lost via TKO. After signing here, he looks for an explosive start to turn some heads and prove that he is a contender for the future. Nick “NiceGuy” Diaz is a solid opponent to every fighter that faces him. He has polished his mma game but is suffering from inconsistent performances. He wants to put that all behind him as he sign for his new organization, Insanity, hoping he'll start out a clean slate. His notables include world-class boxing and iron lungs. Fight # 4: Jay Gatsby v Harald Hildetand Lightweight fighters Jay “The Great” Gatsby (6 – 4) faces “Wartooth” Harald Hildetand (7 – 6) in a battle for upper table rankings. Jay Gatsby is an Insanity veteran with nine fights in the organization. It has been a tough ride for him as three losses in his last four fights let him slid downwards the stacked division. He's hoping to make a comeback to the top by using his great striking power. While most of his (T)KO wins are via punches he does have lethal high kicks. Add good wrestling to his arsenal and you're sure to have nightmares competing against him Current inconsistencies mark Harald Hildetand's career for the moment. His last five fight gave him two wins and three losses which does not help him if he wants a crack a the title. His early career did provide impteus to his reputation as a solid submissiona artist. His tally of five submissions vicotries over his seven wins is no giant leap. Although he prefers the grappling game on the ground, he is conidered to be an excellent boxer. His flexibility is also noted especially in his submission game. Fight # 5: Lawrence Geritz v Chris Severn We have #8 ranked lightheavyweight Lawrence “Funny Bone” Geritz (11 – 7 - 1) toe to toe with #10 lightheavyweight Chris Severn (8 – 6 – 1). This fight has some serious implications in the rankings as a this fight is a proving ground for a title shot in the future. Lawrance Geritz is a nineteen fight veteran who faced most of his opponents in WarZone. Coming here in Insanity, he already garnered wins over Carson Battistoni (7 – 5) and Glen Gorman (9 – 8). These wins propelled him to the top of the rankings in his division but his loss against current #2 Castor Collins (14 – 3) stopped his tracks. He looks to start the ball rolling again and will definitely use his amazing Muai Thai skills to inflict serious damage. Chris Severn has been to five different organizations in two years until he signed to Insanity. He hopes to end his status as a journeyman fighter against a strong opponent in Geritz. Severn is known for his powerful strikes but it's not to say he's one dimensional. His Muai Thai adds depth to his stand up game and exceptional wrestling plus a brown belt in jiu jitsu makes him tough on the ground too. Fight # 6: Maxwell Rubin v Darren Myles We now feature a lightweight bout with Maxwell “Vermelho” Rubin (8 – 3) against Darren Myles (15 – 9). This is an exciting bout as these two fighters have been on the outskirts of the top 10 in their division. A win here will surely help in penetrating the upper echelons of the lightweight division. Maxwell Rubin already had an opportunity to enter the top ten in his last fight. But against an opponent like #2 lightweight Jingle Jingle (13 – 5) it did not come to fruition. He possesses an excellent wrestling base and jiu jitsu black belt that will surely be a game changer in this fight. He does have strong boxing and Muai Thai but his forte is to stay on the ground and submit his opponents. Darren Myles is a veteran mma fighter. His twenty-four fights attest to his experience and this is an advantage that he can use against Rubin. Unlike Vermelho, Myles prefers using his powerful strikes and ground and pound to unleash havoc in his opponents. He has also challenged champions for three times now and if he wants another title shot, Myles needs to prove his worth in the cage with Rubin first. Fight # 7: Machine Gun v Martti Molski A title shot is near for these two lightheavyweights as #5 ranked Machine Gun (12 – 3 – 1) is set to face #2 rated lightheavyweight Martti “Molotov” Molski (8 – 2). Machine Gun has recently won an important fight against #9 lightheavyweight David Wuzz (6 – 6). A TKO performance propelled him to his current rating and a win against Molski is going to turn some heads around! Gun is an intelligent fighter who uses his varied attacks to score decision wins and occasionally finish fights with TKOs. He has been a longtime Insanity fighter and with the way he's dishing out wins this is surely his time to go for gold. Finnish fighter Martti Molski has not been in the organization for long but already established himself as one of the prime contenders for the 205-pound belt. He's a proven big hitter with six (T)KO victories in his name. Yet, he has also shown a penchant for wrestling and grappling as his only submission victory also earned him submission of the night award in a WarZone bout. If he can show the various combat skills he has, he can win this fight and battle the champion in the future. Fight # 8: Jack Bronson v Jeremy Perosh #7 Jack Bronson (13 – 4 – 1) will have to show his mettle against former champion and current #3 heavyweight Jeremy “Kaboom!” Perosh (12 – 5). A win for Bronson here will cement his status as a prime contender for the title but if “Kaboom!” Perosh takes the victory, he'll be moving forward to getting back his title. Jack Bronson has always been a consistent fighter, continuously racking up wins. This is probably his biggest fight since Lexington Snape during his stint with Troid. Bronson's key to victory includes his sensational Muai Thai and surprising grappling. With 8 (T)KOs tallied, his striking is formidable even if they say he has mediocre boxing. Jack Bronson might need to change levels during the fight to keep Perosh busy. With his skillset, he could pull of the win. Long-time Insanity fighter Jeremy Perosh is once again close to another title shot. His last two attempts at the belt resulted in a let down as he was knocked out against former champion Nicky Spillane (11 – 2) and current title holder Cyril Makarenko (16 – 4). Perosh's gameplan is to knock people out cold and his excellent boxing and ground and pound help in executing his designs. He'll certainly slug it out with Bronson and that is a fight we'd all like to see. Co – Main Event: Arshnoor Singh v Predator Burns Highly touted featherweight Arshnoor “THE BRUTALIZER” Singh in a battle for supremacy with “FightBred 2.0” Predator Burns! This is our co-main event and is the implications of this fight is staggering! This is the highly awaited debut for Singh! We've seen great stuff from him in his stints from different orgs and it's exciting too see him in action here in Insanity! His resume is tremendous. Former HONOR and Death Squad champion, Sing has been through wars before. He boasts remarkable Muai Thai and those vicious kicks! Even if he can't produce the stoppage he is known to fight smart racking up decision victories. This is only his first fight in the organization but he's already touted as the #2 ranked featherweight. If he wins here he might actually be the next guy to fight for gold. After headlining Insanity 84, Predator Burns is set to continue his winning ways. It's a big fight for Burns and is his toughest opponent yet. A win against Singh will exhibit Burns legitimacy as a contender for the 145-pound title. “FightBred 2.0” Burns will be looking at the ground to inflict damage. His intimidating black belt in jiu jitsu and sensational wrestling are key to all of his past victories and he will look to apply the same methods here. If Burns can take this fight to the ground, it could shatter Singh's “hype” and increase his standing in the division. Main Event (145 lbs Championship): Alexander Pedan v Martin Saint Louis Welcome fight fans! Here we go! This main event is between our featherweight champion, Martin Saint Louis (18 – 3) defending the crown against #3 ranked Alexander “Angel” Pedan (11 – 0)! These two champions are here facing off and frankly, I'm ecstatic! Our challenger is former War God champion Alexander “Angel” Pedan! He is by far the most dominant featherweight this division has seen. A perfect eleven wins and if that's not enough, all of these victories are achieved via (T)KO! Pedan is so explosive he even submitted a guy... with strikes! He can knock you out in many different ways. Punches, kicks or a combination of both, Alexander Pedan is no angel in the ring. Now we go to our champion, Martin Saint Louis. If there's one thing about Saint Louis its that he's a complete mixed martial artist. This man finds a way to win. He can make you tap, stop you with strikes or fight you with points. In addtion to that, Martin Saint Louis has an amazing gas tank. He's been into the championship rounds and he's come out victorious every time. There might be questions about his chin but he hasn't really been hurt either. If he wins this fight, its going to prove that he can withstand taking strikes as well as dish them out. This is an awesome fight card to watch! I do hope you enjoyed the preview here! See you on the 16th of May in Venice Beach! - M. Maestro

  35. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1431182439HG75_zpssodv8oaa.png Highland Games 75 Preview By Callum McGregor Firstly, thanks to Scott J (xunt) for the poster. Highland Games 75 is brought to you in association with The Highland Books. It’s Camden Conference Centre, it’s Highland Games, and it’s going to be unbelievable. We have two former Highland Games champions, two former Attack Fight League champions and the reigning, defending Highland Games Bantamweight Champion; Serge Ibaka. This card is going to be nuts, let’s take a look. Yolo Yolovski (4-1) Vs Carlos Lehder Rivas (2-2) – Bantamweight Yolo picked up his first loss in his last fight after winning a 4 day independent tournament. The submissionist will be looking to take this one down and bounce back into the win column. Carlos Rivas is entering this fight as an underdog, especially since he’s on a two fight skid, but if he can secure the clinch early and wear Yolo down then he stands a good chance at turning things around. Teofilo Sotolongo (1-1) Vs Brian Collins (1-1) – Heavyweight Two competitors from the $1million Heavyweight Tournament, both Teofilo and Collins found their runs cut short in the second round. Teofilo has heavy hands but will need to keep his chin tucked to avoid a repeat performance of his 5 second knockout loss to Chrollo Lucilfer. Brian Collins is also a boxer which makes for an interesting stand up affair which isn’t expected to go on for very long. Dino De Brouwer (1-1) Vs Luca Dominiguez (1-1) – Heavyweight Yet another two former tournament entrants, we saw Dino The Italian Stallion meet his fate in the first round while Luca Dominiguez could only manage one better. Dino came back with a head kick knockout which won him a post-fight bonus at Highland Games 69 while this is Luca’s first fight since the defeat. Luca picked up a bonus himself for his 55 second opening round scrap with Angel Adriel so it’ll be a close an interesting match between both strikers. Guillermo Diaz (5-1) Vs Phillip Peralta (3-1) – Lightweight Formerly one of Mexico’s premier amateur wrestlers, Guillermo Diaz has put together quite the MMA streak as of late. After a submission loss in his debut, we’ve seen him beat 5 straight opponents, displaying a very controlled wrestling top game with the ability to lock on submissions when the time calls for it. Peralta has already found success in Highland Games, scoring a first round knockout over boxer Manny Pacquiao in his first outing. Peralta will look to use his wrestling to hold Diaz back and maybe land a big shot early, otherwise he’ll have a hard time winning from the bottom. Tatsuzo Fukuda (5-0) Vs Claudius Calaeabius (4-1) – Bantamweight The Japanese competitor Fukuda is yet to be resisted in his 5 fight career, winning 4 of them by stoppage and going the distance in the other. While he has been looking dominant, he’s yet to really face anyone that could best him on paper, and that’s all about to change tonight. Claudius only has one defeat; a tournament finale fight to Yolo Yolovski who’s kicking the card off tonight. Outside of that, he’s proved to be an accomplished wrestler with some nice ground and pound, a trait he demonstrated with a quick stoppage over Artur Galecki in his Highland Games debut. Thomas Almeida (5-4) Vs JJ Lycka (9-6) – Lightweight Once a promising fighter with a 5-1 record, Thomas Almeida appears to have fallen on harsh times recently. This is only the case if you take his record at face value. In reality, Thomas was caught with a string of questionable decisions and unfair match making at the hands of Rio de Janeiro’s Ultimate Fighting Federation. At 5-1, he faced 27-31-3 Chip Freedom. At 5-2, he faced 15-12 Vrando Vraganza. Next, 13-9 Bernardo Bernardo. Why anyone would put an up and comer through this is beyond me, but Thomas Almeida is game for anyone put in front of him, and tonight he has another hard challenge. JJ is one of the top Lightweights to have come from The Island, although his record doesn’t appear that way. He holds two victories over Jason Smith and ones over Mamad Mouba and Peter Parker. Like Almeida, JJ has struggled as of late, taking 3 recent losses in as many fights, but he’s faced some difficult guys and this is his opportunity to take one back. George Moshington (9-3) [-142] Vs Tim Woods (9-3) [+105] – Lightweight Seems like I’m making a habit of writing about fighters who have fallen on hard times as of late, but that perfectly describes George Moshington. A Highland Games Champion with knockout power and a slick submission game, it once appeared that George would not be stopped. Then suddenly, it all changed. Upset in the tournament by Jack Stick, lost his title to Zoran Jolevi then decisioned against Calvin Brooks, it seems that Moshington became a midcard fighter overnight. He needs wins, big time, and Tim Woods hasn’t fought as big name opponents. Woods is a World Combat veteran, fighting as early as WC 1. Since then, Woods was beating the middle of the road guys for a while, once putting together a 5 fight win streak. Although he answered the difficult questions with flying colours, Woods struggled to overcome when the deck was stacked against him. He was defeated by Oleg Bartowski, Chin Checker and Shoddy Body, 3 of the top guys from World Combat. Now he’s under new management, but it’s really a hard fight for him to get past. Woods will have to play this very intelligently to be able to get past his opponent in this one, and it would be the perfect start to this next chapter in professional career. Taisto Anttila (6-0) [-121] Vs Warren Parker (7-2) [-112] – Lightweight Taisto comes to us as a really highly ranked and well hyped submission expert, winning all 6 of his professional fights by this method. The former Choke Featherweight and Welterweight Champion has had 4 fights scheduled for 5 rounds, none of which went beyond the opener, and for the icing on the cake he’s also received 5 Submission of the Night bonuses from the Choke staff. Really, what I’m trying to say here is that Taisto Anttila is the real deal and is poised to be a real contender in Highland Games. A natural Bantamweight, Taisto prefers to use his speed to catch opponents on their heels and take the fight to the ground. Although there was some concern about him fighting at Lightweight, Taisto assures us that as a former Choke Welterweight Champion, this is no difficult task for him. Warren Parker is also making his Highland Games debut tonight, coming off of a fairly successful run in both ECFC and CEFC. A onetime contender for the ECFC Welterweight championship, Parker is a jiu jitsu practitioner like his opponent tonight and will be looking to tackle his opponent head on in that respect. His only two losses have come by way of knockout, something the favourite, Anttila, is not expected to look for on Friday night so we’re likely to see Warren Parker deal with some things he hasn’t been bested by in his career thus far. Mase Force (15-5) [-602] Vs Sailele Lealofi (8-4) [+360] – Heavyweight The bookie’s favourite is extremely clear in this fight. The Highland Book has Mase Force at an incredible -602, but that doesn’t mean Sailele Lealofi has no chance. Mase went down in history with back to back stoppage victories over his rival Barney Gumble, walking home with the Highland Games Heavyweight title in the process. Losses to Pedro Lazaro have cost Force both the Island tournament and his championship belt and being that close to greatness will be a bitter pill to swallow for the former champ. The Super Samoan, Sailele has been a difficult fixture in Highland Games’ heavyweight division for quite some time. His biggest victory to date is a submission win over Magnus Cross, but there is one important factor in this fight. It seems that whenever Sailele is faced with a big hitter; Alexey Juralev, Garcia Vega or his first fight with Mase Force, he crumbles under the pressure. What I think we need to see is a more tactical game from the Samoan, using his strikes or clinches to set his takedowns up. BJ Arnold (14-1) [+107] Vs Serge Ibaka (20-1) [-145] – Bantamweight Championship And now we’re here; the main event of the evening, and I couldn’t be more excited. I think one of our important factors that need to be addressed tonight is rumours surrounding Serge Ibaka. When Ibaka left Attack Fight League for Highland Games, Adam Rabago, AFL’s leader, stated that Ibaka left to avoid fighting another fighter. Due to the standing of BJ Arnold at the time, it was suspected he was said fighter. Ibaka would eventually be forced to fight Arnold in the tournament final and it was a dominant victory for BJ. None the less, Serge Ibaka was still the champion but he requested that he be given time to train for Arnold since he was coming straight off of the first loss of his career. In the meantime, Ibaka would easily dispose of Dan Sten and Neil Drake while Arnold would stay in the gym. Serge Ibaka is out to prove something big time in this one. Anyone who ever claimed this man was ducking has been proven wrong, because it’s here and it’s on. Serge Ibaka has been absolutely incredible in Highland Games, beating every single opponent put in front of him in devastating fashion. An important thing to notice is that in the early days, Ibaka had a few problems with some guys, but since then he’s developed his game and became a more destructive force. Finishing fights without any real problem. BJ Arnold managed to destroy all but one; Darth Vader, but the level of opponent’s he’s faced in comparison to his opponent is much lower. None the less, when they competed against one another it was a masterful kicking game which saw Arnold pull ahead. Ibaka had his moments in the fight but was unable to secure his patented clinch enough and when he did he wasn’t able to do enough with it. Now we’re here. Serge Ibaka knows what BJ Arnold wants to bring to the table and knows what the strategy is going to be. If Ibaka can keep out of distance, he can time Arnold and predict his attacks. From here, he might be able to counter with strikes or the clinch. This is easier said than done, and if the long-time Bantamweight kingpin hesitates, he may find himself once again worn down by his opponent’s unrivalled kicking game. No matter who wins, I think the winner is going to go down in history as one of the greatest fighters Highland Games is ever going to see. So there we have it. The main event is going to feature one of the most bitter and long lasting feuds Highland Games has ever seen and really, your guess is as good as mine as to who is going to walk as the winner. One thing is for sure though, this night is going to be historic.

  38. EP 25: Collision was a mixed martial arts event held by Epicity Productions on May 9, 2015 at Sparta's Palace Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. [The Prelims] (Light-Heavyweight Division) Cingeto Ysengrin versus Yujus Gotrekt Round 1 – With both men making their professional fighting debut at this event, fan curiosity was high to see which man would claim his first pro victory. Gotrekt came out reasonably aggressive, but the edge in aggressiveness clearly went towards his opponent, Ysengrin. Cingeto Ysengrin was landing two or three blows for everyone that was attempted by Yujus Gotrekt, and he was doing a decent job of making Gotrekt miss and flop clinch attempts as well. Just past the one minute point of the fight, Ysengrin landed a back pedaling left jab that seemed to stun Gotrekt; Gotrekt came forward with a body kick attempt, and ran right into a big right hand that put him down. Gotrekt scrambled back to his feet and ate another right hand on his way up; this time, he didn't get back up. Cingeto Ysengrin def. Yujus Gotrekt via KO (Punch) at 1:27 of round 1. (Featherweight Division) Chris Cross versus Ethan Harris Round 1 – Chris Cross was doing an admirable job of getting in with a punch and getting out before Ethan Harris could tie him up. It became quickly apparent that Harris wanted to clinch- and he did so, on his forth attempt. Against the cage, Ethan Harris would push out some hard standing elbows, and then grapple Cross up to prevent him from retaliating. Cross scored a pulled guard and Harris jumped right back to his feet. Suddenly, Chris Cross was looking for a takedown rather than punches, and Harris was just looking to clinch against the cage. Ethan Harris dominated the remainder of this round by avoiding the ground battles, and forcing the clinch whenever Cross got too close. Round 2 – As Chris Cross slowed in this round, Ethan Harris picked up the pace and started to out strike the man on the feet. Cross would attempt a takedown and the two would wind up clinched with Harris landing short shots. However, on the ground Cross would do pretty well when he was able to keep the fight there. Still, another solid round for Harris. Round 3 – This was the first complete shut out round, with Ethan Harris annihilating Chris Cross with elbows from the clinch. Completely one-sided shut out victory for Harris. Chris Cross def. Ethan Harris via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). (Lightweight Division) Virgil Dreesen versus Nerve Agent Vx Round 1 – Nerve Agent Vx was hyper aggressive in the early goings, but anyone that has faced Dreesen before would tell you that you are playing with fire by going down that route. Virgil Dreesen mostly played the defensive early on, and seemed to be timing Agent Vx's attacks. As Nerve Agent Vx came forward with a punch, Dreesen nailed him with a head kick! Agent Vx staggered and Dreesen was all over him! He landed a hard uppercut that almost put Vx down for the count! Nerve Agent Vx backed up against the cage, looking to recover, but Dreesen tagged him with a pair of hard body kicks, followed by a leg kick, followed by a hard right hand that put Nerve Agent Vx down and out! Brutal victory for Virgil Dreesen! Virgil Dreesen def. Nerve Agent Vx via KO (Punch) at 0:49 of round 1. (Light-Heavyweight Division) Mack Bolan versus Ryan Reeves Round 1 – Ryan Reeves pushed forward straight out of the gate, landing punches seemingly at will. Mack Bolan responded by tying Reeves up and forcing a clinch. Ryan Reeves dominated from that position as well, landing hard knees to the face and body. The entirety of this round was spent against the cage with Reeves hammering Bolan. Round 2 – Ryan Reeves pushed forward once again, following a leg kick into the clinch. By the end of this round, a battered and bloody Mack Bolan had to be assisted to his stool by his cornermen; another clear round for Reeves. Round 3 – A seemingly revitalized Mack Bolan forced Reeves back against the cage and worked him over for the entirety of this round. Bolan started to dominate finally, battering Reeves with punches, knees, and elbows. By the end of the round, both men were exhausted, Bolan was bleeding profusely, and the two warriors embraced in a quick hug as the buzzer sounded. Ryan Reeves def. Mack Bolan via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). (Heavyweight Division) Rutger Snabel versus Joe Louis Round 1 – This opening round was pretty close; both men were landing shots, although Snabel did receive a pretty bad cut on the bridge of his nose. It would be really hard to judge who won this round. Round 2 – As Rutger Snabel pushed forward with some punches, Joe Louis caught him with a lunging uppercut just as Snabel ducked under! Snabel went down! Joe Louis dove on top to finish, hammering away with short punches, but Snabel somehow survived! Snabel tried to push free and stand up, but Joe Louis kept him trapped below. Rutger Snabel was bleeding badly from his shattered nose. Joe Louis hammered away at him with ground and pound as he fought to isolate an arm and submit his opponent here. Round 3 – Rutger Snabel opened with some jabs, and Joe Louis responded with a jab of his own; it landed right on the already pancaked nose of Snabel. Both men were landing punches with lethal intentions, but Joe Louis seemed to be doing the most damage with each lunging blow that he landed. Snabel went for a head kick and Louis clocked him with a left-right combination that dropped him! Joe Louis once again jumped on him, looking to finish! Joe Louis mounted him and hamered away with bombs from the top position! Rutger Snabel covered up and the referee rushed in to stop the fight! Joe Louis def. Rutger Snabel via TKO (Strikes) at 1:23 of round 3. [Main Card] (Welterweight Division) Tre Spar versus Yang Terbaik Round 1 – Tre Spar cornered Yang Terbaik against the cage early, landing punches and low kicks. Terbaik threw a crescent kick that backed Spar up... Terbaik slipped to the floor in the attempt, but scrambled back to his feet and circled away from the cage. Tre Spar went for an axe kick that missed, and this time it was Spar that stumbled to the ground, getting back to his feet immediately as well. Both men high fived at their display of flopped head kick attempts. Tre Spar attempted a low kick but Terbaik slipped to the side and landed a monster roundhouse kick right on the side of the head of Tre Spar! Tre Spar shrugged it off and smiled, but he definitely felt the power of that kick. Tre Spar tried to clinch suddenly, confirming the belief that he didn't enjoy that kick; as Terbaik pushed away from the clinch, Tre Spar nailed him with a left hook that crumpled him to the canvas! Tre Spar backed up, ushering Yang Terbaik to his feet. Back in the center of the cage, Spar lunged in with an uppercut that put Yang Terbaik down and out! In his post fight speech, Tre Spar said, “I'd like to thank my opponent, the fans, Dick Hardwood and Hoarse Whisperer here at Epicity Productions for the opportunity. Also everyone at Bobby B's.” Tre Spar def. Yang Terbaik via KO (Punch) at 0:30 of round 1. (Welterweight Division) Tyrone Biggums versus DeMarcus DeSilva Round 1 – With a tremendous amount of buzz filling the arena in anticipation of this bout, the two black belts met in the center of the cage and traded power strikes, much to the delight of the audience in attendance. DeSilva seemed to be getting the better of the standup, as he worked beautiful counter strikes from the outside. One minute in, he scored with a double leg takedown, spinning Biggums to the floor, landing in side control! Not one to be controlled, Tyrone Biggums regained half guard, and the two submission wizards battled for position. After failing with a pair of submission attempts, DeSilva settled on just punching Biggums from the top position, looking to break his guard and pass to mount. Biggums responded by threatening with an arm lock, and instead slipped his leg free and retained full guard. DeSilva worked the ground and pound from guard, and Biggums trapped an arm, throwing up his legs for a triangle choke! DeSilva stood, escaped the choke, and threw Biggums' legs to the side, landing back in side control! DeSilva started hammering away at the obviously frustrated Tyrone Biggums from side control. DeSilva tried to force an Americana, but Biggums defended appropriately. DeSilva attempted a kimura, but gave it up quickly. Just as the round seemed to be over, DeMarcus DeSilva locked in an arm triangle choke and squeezed down on it! Tyrone Biggums tried to wait out the round and hold on, but his face was turning bright purple! The referee moved the arm of Biggums, saw that he was unconscious, and stopped the fight with five seconds to go! DeMarcus DeSilva def. Tyrone Biggums via Submission (Arm Triangle) at 4:55 of round 1. (Lightweight Division) Delphino Atlantis versus Julius Octavius Round 1 – Delphino Atlantis was easily out striking Julius Octavius in the early goings, and followed it up with a counter takedown (off of a failed takedown from Octavius), landing in guard. Atlantis tried fruitlessly to pass the guard to the resounding boos of the audience in attendance, and finally the referee stood them up, which received some cheers. Both men landed some shots and this time Octavius scored a takedown into side control. Atlantis managed to sneak a leg under and get back to half guard. As Octavius worked to pass the guard, Atlantis slid out the side and took his back! The remainder of the round saw Atlantis hammering away at the sides of the head of Octavius while trying to sneak his arm under the chin. Round 2 – Delphino Atlantis was landing kicks early and often here. He scored a counter takedown into half guard, rolling almost immediately for an arm triangle, but nothing came of it. Octavius tried to escape and instead took the back of Atlantis in an eery recreation of the end of the first round! Octavius was landing hammer fists to the head of Atlantis! After several minutes of struggle, Atlantis caught Octavius napping and broke the hooks, rolling into guard on top! Atlantis passed easily into side control, but Octavius got back to half guard just as easily. Still, the remainder of the round saw Delphino Atlantis on top in half guard raining down punches. Round 3 – Atlantis scored a takedown straight into guard immediately! Octavius worked for a triangle choke with nothing behind it. Octavius was working the high guard as Atlantis leaned in close. As Octavius lost his guard control, Atlantis passed into side control! Octavius swiveled him back into full guard. Atlantis landed some short punches on Octavius. Delphino Atlantis threatened with some sort of submission hold and instead passes the guard straight into full mount! Delphino Atlantis postured up with two minutes remaining and started hammering away at the face of Julius Octavius! Octavius seemed to be hurt off of those big elbows coming down! With virtually no time left in the fight and two dominant rounds behind him, Delphino Atlantis rolled for a last minute arm bar and got it! In his post fight interview, Delphino Atlantis gave a big smile as he said “This opponent was rather weak, his ancestral line has flaws which have now been removed and reenvisioned in the highest light. I used my slippery dolphin move to slip in there and get her done!” Now, I have no idea what a slippery dolphin move is, but that's pretty fucking funny. Delphino Atlantis def. Julius Octavius via Submission (Armbar) at 4:57 of round 3. [Co-Main Event] (Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Zoey Malone Jr© versus Serder Serderov Round 1 – Heavyweight Champion of the World Zoey Malone Jr was working the left hook early, landing with absolute ease and simplicity. As Malone pushed forward with a hook to the body, Serderov nailed him with a series of straight lefts and rights. Serderov tried to land another combination, and Malone nailed him with a straight shot to the body. Malone landed more hooked punches and Serderov forced the clinch. Against the cage, Serderov was landing hard lefts and rights, and slicing elbows; he opened a cut over the eye of the heavyweight champion. Zoey Malone broke free of the clinch with three minutes left in the round and pushed forward with straight punches, keeping Serderov at bay temporarily. Zoey Malone Jr was really working the left hook and straight shots to the body; his game plan clearly involved getting in, landing some punches, and getting out before Serderov could clinch him up. All in all it was a pretty evenly matched opening round, with a slight edge in punching volume going to the heavyweight champion. Round 2 – Serder Serderov seemed to come out much more tentative and cautious in this second round and Zoey Malone Jr took the initiative; he pushed forward with more body shots and swinging hooked punches. Near the tail end of the round, Serderov clinched him up once again, and both guys landed one or two punches before the final buzzer sounded. Likely another close round for the champion here. Round 3 – As this round commenced, Serderov was missing more than he was landing; Malone was working those left hooks and right hands to the body with biblical dedication. Two minutes in, Malone tagged Serderov with a straight left hand that stunned him! Malone pushed forward with a right uppercut and Serderov went down! Malone dove into mount on top and finished with a series of hard power punches, forcing the stoppage! Zoey Malone Jr made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying “I couldn't be happier winning my first title in such a great organization. Dad, this was for you!”. Zoey Malone Jr def. Serder Serderov via TKO (Strikes) at 2:06 of round 3 to retain the Undisputed Epicity Heavyweight Championship of the World! [Main Event] (Welterweight Division) Andy Carroll versus Jeremy Smith Round 1 – Andy Carroll landed the jab and darted away, avoiding the response. Carroll attempted a left hook, but Jeremy Smith blocked the attempt. Smith tried to counter with a leg kick but was too slow to do so. Carroll attempted another left hook, and this time Smith timed him coming in, landing a counter leg kick. Smith faked a high kick and landed a leg kick instead. Carroll just missed with an overhand right that got the audience “oohing” and “ahhing”. Smith ducked under the left hook from Carroll but got caught with a right hand to the gut. Carroll tagged the seemingly stunned Smith with an uppercut followed by a left hook! Jeremy Smith was in trouble early! Jeremy Smith landed a big right hand and danced away on rubbery legs. Jeremy Smith pushed forward with a slapping leg kick and Andy Carroll caught him with a big uppercut, sending Smith staggering back before falling face first to the floor. The referee stopped the fight but Smith was already out cold! Andy Carroll def. Jeremy Smith via KO (Punch) at 0:50 of round 1 to win our main event of the evening!

  39. Yes. It's their job to prevent people from being "trigger happy". Would you trust someone who has never went to school for one day in their life to teach your children? Then why trust someone who is "trigger happy" to protect them? All in all, I don't rely on police. If someone breaks into my house this second and I hear it, I'm not phoning anyone. I don't know their competency to be here and protect my family, and in America you never know what could go wrong if you phone a bunch of guys with guns to pop up outside your house. I'll try and handle the situation myself to the best of my abilities. If I wake up tomorrow and everything's gone, or even worse someone has been hurt and I didn't hear it, you're damn right I'm calling it in. I don't have the manpower and resources to track the person or items down and as much as you all consider yourselves to be quite the Liam Neeson impressionists, fact is for us, if we wake up tomorrow and we've been cleaned out we most likely will never hear of them again. The police can track that stuff down and have task forces to tackle crimes like burglaries in the area etc. so hell yeah I'd phone them in that situation. If anyone in this thread wouldn't, I find that to be a bit of a bitch move. You're just going to let another human being take your stuff or god forbid hurt someone you live with and they can saunter on and get away with it?

  45. FIGHTER SPOTLIGHT CHRISTIAN LONG http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/29/29b0031.jpg Christian Long began his career as an accomplished kickboxer, managed by veteran promoter Brad Bombada. After a one minute spectacular head kick knockout of Francesco Bozzano in the independent circuit, he signed with Chaos. We saw quite a lot of great talent fight for Chaos in it’s early days; Eirikur Adalsteinn, Neil Drake, Tom Franks, Saintly Fish, Jomlong Kiapoity, Hanjong Mc Vetrol, Skunk Asap, Thor Heyerdahl, Gottlieb Hiebknecht, Thaddeus Fitzgerald, San Terra, JJ Lycka and many more, but perhaps the most standout amongst the group was Christian. Long debuted for the organisation in their 4th event, which would subsequently be their last. He instantly main evented, taking out Theros Staal in just 20 seconds. This sent ripples across the Island landscape as the fans and pundits immediately knew the name; Christian Long. After the demise of Chaos, almost all of their top names signed for Highland Games, Christian amongst the bunch. At Highland Games 2, he co-main evented against 1-0 Alexey Juralev, another Chaos name. Alexey was instantly a bit puncher, something he’s proven to still be in the 13 fights since then. Long went out and started throwing high kicks early, something he must have seen in Juralev’s previous fight. This is quite amazing because we’ve seen Juralev head kick KOed since then against Mib Louie, so Long and his team had incredible foresight to know this would be such an available attack. One head kick cut him, one head kick dropped him and the final one knocked him out. 3-0, Christian Long proved to be the best kickboxer on The Island throughout its early days. With the spectacular debut win under his belt, Callum McGregor decided it was time to finally unveil the first Highland Games championship. Christian Long would compete in the first ever HG title fight against 4-0 popular up and comer Barney Gumble. Now if you’ve been following the organisation in any way, you know how this fight would have turned out. In something that would become a trademark, Gumble secured the clinch instantly and managed to finish the fight in just over 2 minutes. Gumble would go on to defend the title an incredible 9 times, while Long’s career went in a completely different route. Some fighters crumble after their first loss, but that wasn’t the case for Long. He would next fight at HG 11 against fellow kicking master Diamond Andy. It was an incredible fight. While Andy appeared to be the slightly more well rounded fighter, using this to take the fight, you could never count Long out. Throughout the fight, Diamond Andy had received a cut which was getting worse and worse. Right in the very last minutes of the fight, it was nasty. Blood was everywhere, but with only 3 seconds left in the fight, the referee would let it go right? No, the referee halted the fight. Christian Long had defeated one of the top contenders by the skin of his teeth, bouncing back in a huge way from his disappointing title fight. The fight earned FOTN honours and both men had created one of the most controversial situations we have seen in the organisation’s 700+ fights. Long would next take on Elias Page as part of the Highland Games 18 supercard, in a fight where Long was considered the heavy favourite. Page was looking for the clinch early, but the head kick mastery came back into full effect. In the third round, Page was dropped and rocked. He got the clinch, but again was put on the mat before the end of the round, this time by uppercut. The referee let it go to the end of the round, but just 10 seconds into the second it was yet another head kick that put Page on the canvas. A few strikes from the mount later, Long went to 5-1. Yet again. Long won bonuses, getting Knockout of the Night and his second straight Fight of the Night. In the early days of Highland Games, it was an unspoken rule that a fighter should win 3 fights in a row before getting a title shot. This was specifically enforced for a fighter who had already challenged for the belt as Christian had done. This would create the build for a huge clash; Christian Long Vs Nelson Frazier Jr. Nelson was undefeated after 4 fights and was chasing down a title shot of his own. This was highly suspected to be a number 1 contender fight. We knew Nelson would like to take the fight into the clinch, but what was most surprising was the boxing of Nelson Frazier Jr. Nelson managed to work his hands, landing some strong body punches, but as expected he controlled in the clinch. Long managed to pot shot here and there, but he couldn’t dictate the pace. Early in the third round, Long was burned into highlight reels for eternity when he was caught cold by a superman punch and knocked unconscious. The loss was hard, but not as hard as getting easily dominated by Thor Heyerdahl in a 3 round kickboxing contest and knocked out in the first by Chiyono Fuji. Although these are two very tough guys, Christian Long was crumbling down the ranks of the Heavyweight division. In fact, Long dropped to the complete other end of the scale. If a fighter won 3 fights, he would probably get a title shot. At the same time, 3 losses often saw the fighter be released from their contract. Christian Long went from being a title challenger to fighting for his career and it was hard for a fan like myself to witness this fall. He had one more chance, given a fight against Antonio The Sparta. Antonio was 2-4 and really didn’t look too impressive. If Long lost to Sparta, then it wasn’t just that he’d be cut from Highland Games but really he would have retired on the spot. It was a close fight quite early. Both fighters exchanged shots, but just over the second round, classic Christian Long returned in a flash. A headkick, the third he had thrown in the round, ended the night for Sparta. This was Long’s early specialty and he had saved his career. Long’s trip to the bottom was short lived. With a win back on his record, Christian was set to face another devastating striker, something he’d been facing quite a lot in recent times. For this challenge, he would face Jason Barrett. Barrett’s career has slightly nosedived with two straight losses, his first two, so this was a legitimate fighter for both men to show us where they were going to be. Surprisingly, Long was caught off guard by the presence of a gameplan from Barrett. Usually just a crazy and wild striker, Jason took the clinch and managed to land a massive amount of punches for two rounds. Long held on like a champ, but no one ever falls like one. Late in the second, Barrett’s barrage was a too much and Christian Long was defeated once again. With his record now at 6-5, Christian was looking far from the top guy he was when he challenged for the title. To make matters worse, Long would never fight Clinton Offley. Clinton was fresh off of a title shot, also falling to Barney Gumble. Long started active as always, but Offley quicky got the takedown and locked in a submission. It was the first time Christian had ever faced a gameplan like that and he didn’t exactly pass with flying colours. Again, he’d lost two in a row and with a now even record, we all thought the end was near. To keep himself employed, Christian was scheduled to fight Magnus Cross. Cross was a young 18 year old who had lost two in a row coming into the fight. The loser of the fight was expected to be released from the organisation, and with the future looking brighter for cross, from a business point of view everyone at Highland Games was willing the youngster to take the fight and give Long the nudge to finally retire. The got into the cage and the announcer made the introductions. Ding, ding, ding, the fight was on. They circled a little bit, then boom, Christian Long with a huge head kick. Cross fell to the floor but got up quickly…only to eat another gigantic head kick. As Magnus Cross went down, the crowd got up. Yet again, that head kick was the deciding factor and Christian Long was picking up a post fight bonus. This fight turned out to be perfect because Christian Long would still retire after the fight, going out in the best way possible, with a Christian Long head kick. Christian Long goes down in history as one of Highland Games’ most devastating kickboxers with some incredible knockout power with his head kicks. Although he never managed to capture the gold, we will always remember his contributions to Highland Games in its early days and fans won’t forget the excitement they felt when they saw him on the card.

  47. Dee lets be honest if it was a problem for the game he would have been gone long ago.... Hes not so to say you find it disturbing as a mod is a bit hypicritical. There have been complaints about him for yrs yet nobody has really put a stop to anything he does. You cant look the other way and then come in here and say I disturb you with my comment... Your a mod, if it bothered you, why couldnt you do something? LOL Edit: as for blatantly ignoring things in this game...Most multis are still around and sitting pretty good in this game... who has the power to stop it? not I and Im not going to waste energy dwelling on it. Edit 2: My bad Dee I thought you had mod status =/ and I dont know him irl I just talked to him a couple times over the yrs here in the game.
