  1. Well, EFFA is now for sale. What will happen to us older guys who just want to bang but are too old for ID restricted KT orgs? Maybe there will be someone willing to bring kickboxing into it's former glory? http://t.qkme.me/3uey3u.jpg

  5. Ascension official heavyweight rankings Champ: Robbie Luatua Luatua has been on point during his Ascension run, going 7-0 with 7 knockouts. No opponent has even managed to get out of the 2nd round against this monster. The heavy handed Kiwi faces perhaps his greatest Ascension challenge yet January 21st vs Mitir Miric. 1. Mitir Miric Miric had a stunning Ascension debut as he dispatched Lucas Lodano with a superman punch early in the second round. Miric is a slick striker with a decent chin and bone crushing power. He hasn't been in the cage with a beast like Luatua yet, making this the most highly anticipated HW match in recent Ascension history. 2. Maurice Vontavious Payne MVP returns from an impressive Olympics run that fell just short of medalling but reinforced his status as a up and comer to watch. The fight against Makerenko was an instant classic in the running for fight of the year. 3. Lucas Lodano Ludano came from the now defunct MFN organization, where he regularly faced stiff competition. Lodano has heavy hands and much more experience then the rest of the rather young HW division. He ran into a buzzsaw in Miric in his debut, but still has the skills to make an impact in Ascension. 4. Cederick Frederic "The Wrecker" came up short in his title shot against Luatua but is still a dangerous young fighter with tons of potential. The former PFC fighter features heavy hands and an impressive killer instinct. Cedrick will need to rack up a couple of wins to get another title shot, but it appears inevitable. 5. Dexter Santaros Santaros is perhaps the most under the radar contender in the HW division. With a lifetime 6-2 record in Ascension, Santaros has had an impressive run in the organization. As the smallest of the contenders and lacking the finishing power of most HW's, Santaros is often overlooked but is always a dangerous opponent.

  6. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1469671905cfc-large.jpg Canadian Fighting Championships With CFC 415 in the books and the merge with EVO well underway, some of you may be thinking it's time for CFC to close its doors. Well nothing could be further from the truth, but as we move forward we will no longer be looking to compete for the top of the rankings, no longer looking to increase our PPV Buys, and no more chasing after top ranked fighters!! No it is time to go back to the basics, and start fresh from the bottom up! This idea has been in the works for some time now and with the game closing in on the 309K range for fighters Canadian Fighting Championships is ready to take on the ID Restricted World! Yes you read that correctly, I am here to formally announce that CFC has made the decision to rebuild from scratch, and one day become the game's premier ID Org as we open our doors to the next generation of fighters and hopeful a new wave of great managers! I will be looking after the recruiting portion of the business while once again I will be teaming up with Stu Mack on this project and Stu will become our Event/Match Making Guru. As we are still roughly 100+ fighters away from hitting the 309K mark this will not get rolling until shortly into the New Year but we felt this notice will give all you managers time to plan out your roster needs in the event you wish to create fighters for us. We will also remain based in Montreal of course however we will likely look to host events in more than just the one location in the future once we become more established. Thank You for taking the time to read our announcement and we look forward to working with many of you very soon! CFC Management

  11. If it is one person that is complaining about being downvoted, simply ignore the twat. The whole community should not be punished for how it has been using the down/upvote system since it has been implemented. I understand as admin, you want to try and keep everyone happy, however there should be a limit on how far you would want to go for a single person, or perhaps a minority of people who complain. If they get a lot of down votes, it is probably because they are disliked and if they want things to change, they can do something about it themselves. If they are able to remain silent in this thread, they also won't have a hard time avoiding the forum in general and enjoy the rest of the game.. But at the end of the day some people live for the drama and seek the attention in one way or another.

Thanks to all my opponents too for making it such an exciting tournament too, if you post your addresses I can send you your arms back. Hope to see some of you back in the cage in the near future.

  16. It's not a glitch, a retired fighter is still available to be be picked up as a FA by any manager unless of course they were retired to the Bahamas. Unfortunately this also means you have to unretire him to release him and unretire him to fight him as well which costs VIP days. The reason he is retired and on the FA list is because his manager was deleted and didn't actually release him. I do think they should be unretired when they get sent to FA due to deletion as well but atm that's what happens.

  22. (Via Junior Master of MMA Official Thread) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14046526106802.jpg James "Sully" McGuiness (237725) (Participant of The Island Season 2. Former MMA and KT Fighter. Owner of Sully's Bar & Grill) Hey everyone how are you all doing??? What a way to bring in the New Year! 16 young men entered this competition and now we have two men left standing as they fight for the right to become the first ever Junior Master of MMA and lead MMA into the next generation. So grab a cold one, make yourself comfortable and make your way to Hyashi's Lounge in LA for a night of fights! Who will take the prize home?? Find out on the latest edition of: http://i.imgur.com/yPwBr4L.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1415319035knew.png and http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1473453539logo.jpg Presents Junior Masters of MMA Final PRELIMINARY FIGHT "The Snowman" Xavier Frost v Michail "Renaissance" Vitokin Frost made an impressive debut only to have his momentum halted by a fighter popped for PED's. That loss has since been overturned and he looks to bounce back against Vitokin who has suffered back to back KO losses in his pro career. I think The Snowman will have something to prove and will be taking out the frustration of his last fight on the poor Vitokin. Frost to win by 1st round KO. PRELIMINARY FIGHT Baltsaros Dellis v Owen "Ira" Carron Dellis is making his debut here and he does so against Carron. Carron has shown great power in the gym, however that did not happen in his fight. Not much is known about Dellis but i predict Ira will once again go in aggressive and tire himself out against Dellis who will use his wrestling to wear down the big man to get the late stoppage. PRELIMINARY FIGHT Blake Caffey v Jim "Can" Crusher Both men are making their debut in what can be expected to be a Muay Thai exhibition. I don't know much about this Crusher guy but i know Caffey has been training hard for his debut. Will nerves get the better of him? Look for Caffey to wear down his opponent and finish with a highlight reel KO. PRELIMINARY FIGHT Cael "Snuggles" Jones v Nico Salas Snuggles makes his debut against Salas who is coming off a loss. Not much is known about Snuggles other than he is a good wrestler. Will he be able to use that against Salas? This will be a toss of the coin fight but i think Salas's experience will edge out Jones and Salas will grind out a decision. PRELIMINARY FIGHT Jamal Stenton v Eli "Barkio" Barkio Stenton is making his pro debut while Barkio is looking for his first win. I don't know much about Stenton but Barkio has already taken 2 brutal KO losses in his short career and i hope he hasn't already sustained more damage than he needs to. Based on training camp and preparation i will say that Stenton will make an impressive debut and i hope Barkio doesn't take more damage than needed. MAIN CARD Borja "Mar" Quincy v Stu Beck Both men are making their KT debut here with Quincy having at least some combat experience with a KO win in his only MMA fight. Both men are known to be boxers with Quincy so far showing that he can put his opponent to sleep. I would give the slight edge to Quincy just based on the experience of being in a pro fight. Naoto Thompson v Piotr "Ludak" Andenowski We open up our night of fights with a classic striker v grappler fight. Ludak is a knockout artist and he takes on BJJ brown belt Thompson who is making his debut. On paper you would have to give it to Piotr who has tasted gold in HFC however a gut feeling tells me Thompson will surprise us all and get the upset with a quick takedown and sub. JUNIOR MASTER OF MMA FINAL Dennis Sideman v Brian Jacks Who would have though that Sideman entered this tournament as an alternate and has fought his way to the final by finishing all 3 of his opponents. The only man standing in his way of becoming the inaugural Junior Master of MMA is Brian Jacks who has finished all 3 of his opponents via Kimura. If i had to bet, i would say this fight will end up on the ground at some point. Sideman will look to bash his way to the trophy while jacks will look to take Sideman's arm home. Tough fight to call but i think Sideman will get the early takedown and wear down Jacks with strikes to defy the odds to take home the trophy as an alternate! CO-MAIN EVENT Chris Runt v Haider Ali We continue this fight as the big men step into the cage. Both men have shown they love a KO so don't blink! Ali is a purple belt in BJJ but you wouldn't think so as he loves to use his fists to finish the fight. Runt will come out swinging and if he connects first it will be lights out, but i think Ali can avoid the initial storm and wear down Runt for the TKO. MAIN EVENT - LFC WELTERWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT Nikolay "Emcee" Nikolov v Dick "DJ" Jawbreak In a striker v grappler fight for the belt, knockout artist Champ Emcee defends his belt against submission artist DJ. Both men will look to impose their gameplan and it is only a matter of who will get the better position. Nikolov should look to keep the fight standing however once the fight gets to the ground Jawbreak should have the distinct advantage despite Nikolov also sporting a BJJ Purple belt. Jawbreak should avoid the early flurry, however i think Nikolov will be able to connect early and will defend his belt with a early KO win. And that wraps up the year!! So on behalf of all of us at Sully's Bar & Grill as well as Listerman Fighting Circuit, we would like to wish you all a safe New Years!!! As always you can always visit my shop Sully's Bar & Grill for all the best supplements money can buy! You can always hit me up for a sponsorship and i will hook you up!! 23. I love LOD and I cannot lie you other brothers can't deny that when there’s another multigate in the game Mentor and the rest of LOD get all the blame. MMATycoon community trying to warn me saying Mentors trying to con me. The only thing I can reply is that Mentor is just a misunderstood nice guy. Mentor is a hero trust me not a zero. When he got your back you’ll find it wack! You can say he’s just trying to abuse me but I say he can use me, use me cause I ain’t that average LOD groupie. Mentor was there for me when I needed him most now is not the time for me to leave my post.

  26. My hopes for 2017: 1. Bjorn gets his big promotion at work. (He'd be good working the till). If he has less time for Tycoon we all win. 2. Ryan loses his asterisk. 3. Ryan and Rambo smoke the peace pipe 4. GBK manages a full year in the same alliance and he gets his Div 1 win. 5. JLP finds happiness or anger management finally works. 6. Whitney Houston isn't dead. 7. Marky OSullivan finds redemptioon. 8.I am finally exposed as Lance Templetons charismatic MULTI. 9. Bjorn gets laid. 10. Bjorn gets his own place. I think I've most optimism for options 2 and 7, the rest are pipe dream.

  41. I see that most people have Nunes winning the main event, the way the UFC has promoted this, it is almost as if Rousey is fighting a nobody in the main event. Frankly speaking i hope Rousey gets smashed simply because the UFC is showing disrespect to the current champ. As for Mike Goldberg leaving, i think it is about time. He is not the best of commentators, in fact i think he is not even the best the UFC have at the moment.
