  1. CM: Hi guys; we have a very special segment for you today. As always I am Chael Mir, presenting you with another face 2 face interview, this time between two guys who do NOT like each other very much. These guys will be facing each other in the final of The Rumble on The Rocks Tournament in the 205lb division. The winner will be receiving a shot at the championship. These two are both joining me in the studio today; and hopefully we will have no security issues like we did in the last interview with Alejandro Scott and Texas Pete; otherwise well need to get Wolfs super soldiers Cortez and Cadern on the security job to break these guys off. Anyway; Im supposed to be interviewing these guys, so I guess we should get back to that http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w1.jpg Quintus Octavian (303464) Record: 2-1 Wins: 0 TKO/KOs 2 Submissions 0 Decisions Losses: 0 TKO/KOs 1 Submission 0 Decisions Manager: Marcus Crassus (Steel Peel) Abilities: Crisp boxing Good chin Improving submission game Versatility Excellent trash talk Characteristics: Cunning Narcissistic Arrogant Proud Analytical http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14750223985023.png Joao Pedro Mauricio "Black Panther" DeSilva (301306) Record: 2-0 Wins: 0 TKO/KOs 2 Submissions 0 Decisions Losses: 0 TKO/KOs 0 Submission 0 Decisions Manager: Bradley Burns (StPierreCanada) Abilities: Good chin Strong takedown game Excellent submissions Relentless grappling Confidence in ability Characteristics: Arrogant Proud Studious Ambitious Confrontational Joining me we have Quintus Octavian (303464) and Joao Pedro De Silva (301306). My first question will be for Joao; Joao you have arrived in this tournament as a late replacement; how do you feel about the opportunity? And how do you feel about Quintus Octavian as an opponent? JPS: I am thrilled with this opportunity, my amateur career went perfectly at 8-0 and I was fighting at Heavyweight, so I felt I was ready for a pro. I am only 19 and didn't expect such an opportunity this early in my career, but I will take advantage of it, no doubt. I'm ready to take over. As far as Quintus, I respect him, he wants to feed his family like me, he wants to win and I know he doesn't respect me much but that will come back to haunt him. CM: He said in the lead up to the fight that he thinks hes going to submit you, is he underestimating your grappling ability there? Or do you think hes just trying to get inside your head? JPS: He has good Jiu Jitsu, his training partners are skilled on the ground so I know he will come prepared, but I'm a totally different kind of fighter. He won't submit me, this is a fact, he just wants to talk as much shit as he can to make himself feel tough. He won't feel tough after I make him scream mercy. CM: For Quintus; Quintus how do you feel about this opportunity and about your opponent for this fight? QO: Opportunity? I think nothing it's another fight, I'm young it doesn't matter I'll just fight. Him, well he's so one dimensional he's dangerous in that dimension which is takedown submission fighting. I'll probably annihilate him standing because it will be easy and I'll sweat less. In the longer term he's a can period. Hey did Ryan live? How bad was he? CM: I believe he recently won a fight after his title shot; talk to me about Jimmy Ryan, you guys really seem to rub each other the wrong way, but do you actually respect his skills or not? QO: Ryan beat a guy coming off 2 1st round losses, Ryan was fed a bum to keep him up the rankings and keep his whiny bitch camp happy. Guy walks into the org fights the champ, a wrestler, gets smashed striking, then gets a soft opponent. Something smells. CM: I can see why you think that; but on the other side of the coin; he is the only guy to take a round from the champion. JPS; you are known mainly as a grappling ace, and you have been single minded in your pursuit of the takedown so far, will you mix in more striking in this fight? Or will you be relentless in obtaining those takedowns and submissions? JPS: My stand up is coming along nicely, & I have the best team in the world. I want to put him to sleep whether it's a KO or submission, it doesn't matter. I'm obviously looking to expose his weaknesses and his ground game isn't the only one. He's not in the same league as me, he's a cocky shit and I'll punish him for it. CM: Well we certainly hope so for the sake of this fight being even better; Quintus how do you respond to this? QO: He has to get the takedown, anything else he says is coming out of his ass. I'll sub him just to make look even worse than he is, so his pussy camp kick his ass into the street. Who knows, if he sucks bad enough Northern Ninja will be looking to have Ryan fight him. JPS: Listen bro you disrespectful as a motherfucker, you know what I've done and you know, youre in trouble, your wrestling is garbage and I'm going to expose you, & your ground game isn't even respectable so I welcome you to try to play on the ground with me, we all know you want no piece of that. Be humble man; not be mad, don't be mad. QO: This dudes a moron, like he's been sniffing shit that makes him more retarded than he appears, which is going some. His ground game is ok, I'll put him to sleep though if I have to but let's be honest here, his striking is fucking diabolical, I'll ruin him. JPS: I got 3 TKO's in my amateur career so I'm not too worried about your ignorant statements, I just prefer tapping guys out and making them physically quit. You'll quit to, you'll want out real fast. CM: I guess we best get this interview back on topic; as good as you both clearly are at talking smack. Quintus; is this guy a good tune up for the champion; Jonas Lofmark? They have a similar style in that theyd both look to take you down, are you using this fight to potentially prepare for that one down the road? QO: To be honest, I should have been awarded the tournament win by default as this clown JPS is simply a shirt filler. His amateur record, don't make me laugh, punching 10 year old white belts as a 15 year old spot ridden teenager in your local Karate class, isn't a fucking amateur career dickhead. As for Lofmark, he's more dangerous than this fool, dude can clearly bang and he carries that threat to the mat. Silva's got subs, Lofmark gets top position and you wear leather, Silva looks for the Chinese burn, so yeh, Lofmark carries more of a threat. But I think Lofmark will get beat in his next fight anyhow, so he wont figure as my title fight will be against another striker. CM: So you think people may be sleeping on Pollo Tropical here? Break down how you see that fight going. QO: First off, Lofmark loses soon as he lands his best shot on a dude that stands there, smiles at the mother fucker and bangs him back. Tropical will survive some early scares on the ground, get the fight stood up and bang Lofmark out in the 2nd or 3rd. I'm real pissed off that I am fighting this De Silva chump for a prize fund I couldn't give a fuck about, when I could have been the first to expose the fake champ Lofmark, expose his weaknesses, stand and laugh at the fucker when his right hand bounces off my chin and I hit him right back. Instead this Tropical prick gets handed the title shot, doesn't have to win a fucking tourney. It's bullshit, Lofmark should have been waiting for me not fighting chumps who don't deserve a shot, ain't earned no shot. Lofmark is bum, Tropical is a bum but he beats Lofmark. Right now I am not training for this De Silva bum, I am focusing on this Tropical, another prick who has had special treatment, like that pile of shit Ryan. CM: So Joao; what do you think of Quintus comments? And what is your prediction for the main event of Tropical vs Lofmark? JPS: This guy is a clown man, he's hilarious because he actually thinks he sounds cool. I'm gonna take him out, he isn't a complete fighter like I am and I will punish him for all this garbage he spews. His team is going to be embarrassed and humbled after I break him. CM: And what is your prediction for Tropical vs Lofmark? Who do you think youll be facing at PINNACLE? After you get past Quintus of course. JPS: I respect Pollo Tropical a lot, I trained with him recently as his manager and mine get along quite well. Pollo will win this fight with Lofmark, no question in my mind, as Tropical is the best fighter besides me in this whole org. Lofmark is tough, I will admit that. CM: Interesting; so you guys both think we will have a new champion going into PINNACLE. That really would shake things up a lot. Im gonna wrap this up but I need one more prediction from you guys. Who wins out of Joao Pedro De Silva and Quintus Octavian? What round? And what method? JPS, you go first JPS: I'm gonna finish him in the first round by Submission or TKO, he is doomed. All his shit talk will make him look even stupider after I make him quit. CM: Strong words there Joao, Quintus, whats your prediction for the fight? QO: I'll submit him triangle choke just to humiliate the asshole, I will probably give up the takedown when it happens. Dudes a chump. CM: Well thank you both for those enlightening answers; its been an excellent build up to the fight so far. Well guys looks like thats gonna be it for this edition of Face 2 Face. We hope you enjoy what these two athletes had to give today. It is sure to be an excellent fight and only one of many on the same card. 4. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14718725516634.png Jimmy "The Big Deal" Ryan (7-1. 7 T/KOs) LOL, this dude cant go through one interview without chanting my name. My manager and I have never requested an opponent or declined a fight in my short career. We take the fights we're asked to take and since I'm the most hyped guy around from my own hard work, I get pushed to the top. I was already 6-0 when you finally managed to get your first professional victory. What a cute moment that was for you. It's a little embarrassing, though, that after one victory you were already crying for a title shot. Remember, I'll be here when you finally get the balls to fight. I might even give you a shot if you lose. It wouldnt really make sense, seeing that you'll be at the bottom of our division, but hey, anything for my biggest fan. Yours truly, http://cdn2.cagepotato.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/RyanJimmo_UFC149robot.gif

  5. Just like he says: -Get them in the best possible gym (elite coaches ideally with available sessions under 4 fighters per class, more than that in a class will diminish the gains) -Get the best possible supplements available in your city (this means stamina supplement for cardio training, Muscle bulk for strength training and Reduce Energy Loss for all other training sessions). If you do not trust the supplements in your fighters city or there is not high quality you can order from a store in another city and it will take 3 days to arrive to your fighter -just don't order it yourself to you because it will take 3 days to get to you if not in your own city and then another 3 days to ship to your fighter in their city. -Like he said the training speed is super important. I have wasted a lot of time on slow learners and often they do have some great hiddens but that will only go so far until they meet an opponent who outskills them eventually. Unless you protect them and hardcore train them for years they are not the best option for beginners. Try not to waste your time on slow learners. This is strictly a rule for 18 YO creations as they are supposed to train the fastest and not worth it if they train so slow. -Last thing I will add is if you do have 25 year olds and they are good then stick with them for a while and get them into an org with skill level around their own. Negotiate some good pay for your fighter, if you need help with that ask one of our many veterans they should normally know what is good pay for your fighters hype/pop level. If your fighter is successful he can earn enough for all of the things mentioned above which will help his training a lot.

  10. So that's your tactics set, good work! I bet you're wondering if you've done it right. It would be nice if I could tell you but that would be a bit too easy. HOWEVER, you can get help using our mentor system. If you click the blue and green men in the main menu (next to the star), you can see everyone who's waiting to become a mentor. If you do want a mentor, you can choose whether to let them see your siders and your fighter stats, so they can give you their experienced opinion. Whilst we recommend taking on a mentor, we're not going to make you have one, so let's move on to the next point. [...] $50 added to your manager balance for setting your fighter's tactics. The MMA Tycoon Team Gee, thanks! I'll make sure not to spend it all at once.

  24. Some things: - Some fighters are just naturally slow learners, and it gets worse with age. The average 18 year old will improve more quickly than a 25 year old. Unfortunately if someone is a slow enough learner, you better hope for other great hidden traits, because training is almost not worth it. - If you're new, it's likely that your gym's quality isn't the best. More skilled coaches and smaller classes/sessions can improve your ability to pick up skills dramatically. - Grab a supplement from your fighter's local nutrition company. I generally just go with something to stifle Energy Loss. A higher energy level means a more effective training session. There's a TON of material on the Wiki about Sparring, scheduling, and all that. I suggest checking it out.

  28. KFC 1: THE BEGINNING http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1486144078KFC1.jpg The long-awaited and highly-anticipated opening event of Kings Fighting Championship was announced for 18th February. The venue where it will take place will be "Wild Bob's Bar" in London. The match-makers of Kings FC have prepared an amazing fight card, that should satisfy even the most pretentious fight fans around they tycoon universe! We will be seeing the extremely talented fighting prospect Thor "The Norwegian God" Hammer making his debut in MMA, the hard striking big man Gordon Jones and many other who will be looking to impress the fans and pave their way to a successful professional career at the KFC's opening! Of course, for the main event we will witness the organization's most popular fighter Thiago Cavalcanti Azevedo showcase his wonderful skills against another impressive bantamweight - Frank Shuman. Let's get going with the fights: UNDERCARD: 1. Welterweight bout - "The Lawnmower" Larry McGillicutty vs Hi "Vibez" Vibez Kings FC Bookies odds: McGillicutty (1,27 Favorite) - Vibez (2,74 Underdog) Prediction: McGillicutty by KO 2. Bantamweight bout - Yajson Mrar vs Hunter "El Diablo" Typhoon Kings FC Bookies odds: Mrar (1,42 Favorite) - Typhoon (2,25 Underdog) Prediction: Mrar by KO 3. Middleweight bout - Josh "Thornhill" Thornhill vs Ken "The Kid" Griffey Jr Kings FC Bookies odds: Thornhill (2,60 Underdog) - Griffey Jr (1,31 Favorite) Prediction: Griffey Jr by KO 3. Bantamweight bout - Nonito Donaire vs Vick Shroud Kings FC Bookies odds: Donaire (2,25 Underdog) - Shroud (1,42 Favorite) Prediction: Shroud by KO 4. CO-MAIN EVENT: Lightweight bout - Chea Soun vs Tyron "The Monster" Woodley http://i.imgur.com/7Cv7ipz.jpg odds: Soun (1,87 Underdog) - Woodley (1,63 Favorite) Prediction: Woodley by decision http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w6.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31b38.jpg Strong Wrestling Proficient Striking Blue BJJ Belt Big Heart Unimpressive Striking Weak ground game The co-main event of the KFC 1: The Beginning offers an amazing Lightweight match-up between Chea Soun and Tyron Woodley. That's what every specialist calls "a classic grappler vs striker" fight. Soun will be making his professional debut, while Woodley already impressed with an early KO victory in his only amateur fight before joining the Kings FC. The Tokyo-based Chea Soun would be looking to utilize his wonderful grappling skills and take the fight to the mat, since he is no match for Woodley's amazing striking abilities. Woodley's main discipline is Muay Thai, which makes him a dangerous finisher, but he has also been taking boxing classes, which provides him with a rich arsenal of stand-up moves - strong punches, kicks and solid clinchwork. We are yet to see what Soun has to offer us, but we should be expecting fireworks! Rumors are that Woodley has been training very hard for this battle. The key to this fight's outcome is whether Woodley manages to keep away from the ground and dominate the stand-up battle, or Soun is going to drag him down and showcase his exceptional grappling. 5. MAIN EVENT: Bantamweight bout - Thiago Cavalcanti Azevedo vs Frank Shuman http://i.imgur.com/7Cv7ipz.jpg odds: Azevedo (1,55 Favorite) - Shuman (1,98 Underdog) Prediction: Azevedo by submission http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/7/7b11.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w6.jpg Decent Wrestling Exceptional wrestling Brown BJJ Belt Blue BJJ belt Extraordinary Fast Solid Chin The main event brings us the most valuable asset on Kings FC's roster and probably future Bantamweight king - Thiago Cavalcanti Azevedo, who will have a serious obstacle on his first step on the stairway to the top of the division - the LA-based former wrestler, Frank Shuman. This promises to be a solid grappling contest, which could serve the purpose to show both the strong and weak sides of the ground disciplines - a Brown BJJ belt faces a strong wrestler. Coming off an impressive 4-0 amateur career, Azevedo showcased his exceptional BJJ skills, forcing all his 4 opponents to tap-out early in round 1. His speed, discipline and amazing ground technique already earned him a lot of fans, who would kill for the opportunity to see him perform at KFC 1! But he shouldn't get complacent and he shouldn't forget that he is facing a serious opponent in the face of Frank Shuman. Shuman has just one amateur fight on his record, but it was enough for us to see that you shouldn't mess with his ground game - a complete grappler, utilizing both deadly submissions and strong ground and pound into his arsenal of ground moves. Azevedo felt comfortable with his back on the ground during some of his amateur fights, but this shouldn't be the case here. Shuman is a beast if given the top position. We are all very curious to see the outcome of this fight, aren't we? I am expecting it to be a solid grappling contest, with Azevedo having the edge on the ground due to his experience and slightly better technique. FIGHTERS TO WATCH: 1. Gordon Jones http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w3.jpg A very skillful Muay Thai striker, who could turn himself into a favorite for the KFC's Heavyweight title with a few wins. Outstanding striking abilities, athletic body and a decent wrestling, which could give him an edge when he is facing grapplers. You can expect great things from him in the incoming months. 2. Thor "The Norwegian God" Hammer http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w9.jpg An youngster with impressive talent, who is yet to prove himself. Having a solid boxing background, Thor has a promise to dominate KFC's middleweight division in long-term. His first professional fight brings him a hard test against a more experienced fighter, but as they say - "you should strike while the iron is hot"!

  35. OMEGA FIGHTING – WIND OF CHANGE PREVIEW By Alika Webb Epic accomplishments from mere mortal men have shattered the foundations of Omega and they have already created historical moments that will echo through time. This is the place where prospects come to test their strength and some may become legends while others have to face reality. Will the new wind that is blowing through the Omega ranks cause a storm of a magnitude we have never seen before or has the storm already reached it’s peak? Welcome to a new era of Omega! The Omega fighters are fired up and are looking to take Omega Fighting and it’s sponsor Urban Fighter to another level. Headlining the event is the newly crowned light heavyweight champion. The JR superstar will be taking on an undefeated prospect. The featherweight title might not be on the line but the champion is set to compete in a superfight that will knock your socks off. The bully is looking to make a statement that he is the ruler of the Omega campus before graduation. And further down the card, DJ Thunda looks to keep riding the wave after making history by pulling off the single biggest upset ever under the Omega banner. Main event: 205 lbs - Ja Wuan Robinson (11-3) Vs Oswald Cobblepot (4-0) The new blood taking over the Omega ranks is personified in the main event as the JR superstar comes face to face with the penguin of doom. Ja Wuan Robinson came in like a wrecking ball and is currently smashing his way through the competition. Now reigning supreme at the top of his division, he is set to defend his light heavyweight strap for the very first time. The first hurdle on his title run is the undefeated prospect, the penguin of doom. Ja Wuan Robinson is a potential million dollar prospect at the top of his game. He exploded to the Omega scene when he dominated grappling expert Sergey Beznisko. He manhandled the durable Beznisko and made it look easy. Don’t forget his previous accomplishments before coming to Omega Fighting either as those two things combined made him an interesting challenger for the former champion Zeph Frazier. On paper both fighters looked like they were pretty even and the fight we all anticipated definitely did not disappoint. The first two rounds were closely contested and could have gone either way. Frazier had a small advantage in the first round while Robinson took over the lead in the second round and ended up cutting Frazier at the end of that round. The slight edge in the second round gave Robinson the courage to keep moving forward and he kept pushing the champion’s buttons. Robinson rocked Frazier in the third round and like a shark in the water he smelled the blood and kept the pressure on Frazier until he crumbled under it. A talented striker with a fearsome clinch game to top it off, the new champion is the undeniable favorite in his first title defense. The challenger Oswald Cobblepot is another prospect who made a statement in his promotional debut and took Omega Fighting by storm as this title shot will be just the third time he’s entering the Omega Fighting cage. The first three fights of his career didn’t last very long as the penguin managed to finish his opponents in the very first round. That gave him an aura of mystery and fans were wondering if this prospect could be the real deal. In his last fight the penguin had his fate in the hands of the judges for the first time in his career and rumor has it that he didn’t like it. That fight showed the fans that he isn’t a one dimensional fighter, while he does love to throw bombs he can do more than just boxing and he has got enough cardio to keep up the pace for three five minute rounds. Will the cardio of the penguin be able to last for five five minute rounds is the question now or will it not be necessary as the penguin packs a punch that could end the reign of the newly crowned champion before it can even begin. Co-main event: 145 lbs - Ahsan Hamed (10-5) Vs Albert Ricci (6-0) Superfight? I guess so. Everybody who follows Omega Fighting closely knows that Ahsan Hamed loves his social media. He does it well too as he was nominated for the fight character of the year 2016 award. While he didn’t get the award it didn’t stop him from celebrating his last victory online and that got the attention of undefeated prospect Albert Ricci. Hamed wrote that he was exhausted from his last fight and the training leading up to it and he said he looked forward to taking a long vacation. This ticked off the New York native Albert Ricci who took a personal jab at Hamed by stating he should not go on vacation that long as that could be the reason he’s lost five times already. Things heated up and the war of words created enough buzz to make this superfight possible. Ahsan Hamed never backs down from a challenge. That is the least you can say about the current Omega featherweight champion. When he won the title, he didn’t sit back and relax to enjoy the fruits of his labor. He boldly took a giant leap forward as he went up a weight class to challenge Omega hall of famer Morrison Lee. The dangerous striker is a showman and the crowd loves him for it but he needs to face facts, one third of the fights he’s been into were losses. It’s a statistic that doesn’t show all the facts but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. He might have faced some really tough opponents and he is the current Omega featherweight champion but he only won two times in his last four fights. That is a fact and that gives him a credibility problem which Ricci more than picked up on. But what Ricci failed to see was that the champion has been in the cage with the best opposition he could find and went to war multiple times. The experience edge goes to the Omega champion and if he can turn this into a slugfest that could be enough to tip the scales in his favor. Hamed needs another win to establish once and for all that he is worth standing in the spotlights as the best his division has to offer. Albert Ricci didn’t just see a champion from another organization boasting with a record that doesn’t exactly jump off the page. He saw an opportunity to get an easy victory that could elevate his own reputation and he took it. That is a smart move and should he be able to win, I dare say a brilliant move. If Ricci can pull this off, he should thank his manager for making this happen. His manager in this case isn’t just a knight on a white horse for this talented kid, he is the king, queen and the rest of the royal family riding a purple frigging unicorn on a rainbow leading to a big pot of gold. But he hasn’t made it to the finish line yet, to do that he still needs to overcome the obstacle that is Ahsan Hamed. And that obstacle won’t be so easy to overcome as Hamed has experience fighting under enormous pressure and going to war while Ricci simply has not. The All American Italian hasn’t been battle tested yet but Hamed could be just the opponent he needs to show off his true skills. Will Ricci be able to keep his head above water when he faces the aggressive Ahsan Hamed or will the Omega featherweight champion be able to teach the outsider a lesson in cage warfare? 170 lbs - Russell Northrop (8-0) Vs Dan Howson (5-5) Change is coming to the welterweight division it seems as the bully has set his sights higher and will be looking to graduate from Omega Fighting summa cum laude. The bully will be looking at his last fight in Omega as a mere tune-up fight before moving up to the big leagues. Should that be the case the Omega welterweight title will be up for grabs but there is still one man standing in the way of the bully. Russell Northrop came into Omega Fighting undefeated and he will be looking to leave the same way. The champion has dominated in the short period of time he was in Omega and we hope that he’ll be able to look back with joy at the time he had in Omega. He has given the fans some memorable moments during his visit so let’s take a trip down memory lane. He dominated in his debut fight against Arthur Raudrson, he toyed with Raudrson like a cat plays with its food before eating it as he proved superior no matter where the fight took place. In his second fight he took on fellow undefeated prospect Bosco Iwoba, it was a close back and forth battle but the bully managed to outwork Iwoba to get the win. In his third fight the bully dominated Patrick Cleary to win the vacant Omega welterweight title but it wasn’t a flawless victory as the bully did get caught at the end of the fifth and final round. In his last fight the bully showed his absolute superiority over the veteran Mike Freitag. The well rounded bully has one more victim left to pick on before leaving. Will he be able to give the Omega fans one more memorable victory before leaving or will his Omega run end with a shocking defeat? Dan "The Degenerate" Howson is on a two fight winning streak and should he be able to defeat the bully he will be instantly catapulted to fame as it would be an even bigger upset than DJ Thunda defeating the legendary Omega hall of famer Morrison Lee. Howson has lethal high kicks and knows how to use them. The bully seemingly has no weaknesses but he hasn’t fought a kickboxer sporting kicks as high level as Howson’s. Could those kicks be the answer to solving the puzzle that is Russell Northrop? 155 lbs - DJ Thunda (7-4-1) Vs Timothy Wilkinson (5-3) Can DJ Thunda prove that he isn’t a one-hit wonder after his incredible upset victory over the living legend Morrison Lee or is it Timothy Wilkinson’s time to shine? Fresh off one of the most memorable upsets in recent MMA history, DJ Thunda will need to prove that beating Morrison Lee wasn’t just a fluke and that he is deserving of one of the most coveted belts in Omega Fighting. After a lackadaisical first round, the heavy-handed brawler rattled Lee in the second round and quickly finished the fight with a big overhand right. The question needs to be asked if DJ is ready to carry the division as a rematch with Morrison Lee is bound to happen soon should he be victorious. Timothy "Xtreme" Wilkinson is no stranger to the new champion as they have faced off before and it was Wilkinson who had his hand raised in the end. Last time they fought, neither managed to really impress and both had a hard time getting something going. This is a typical Wilkinson game plan. Wilkinson loves to dictate the pace by throwing fast and sharp strikes that keep his opponents guessing which throws off their timing. DJ has shown time and time again that he possesses the power needed to put fellow lightweights to sleep, but will he be able to dictate the pace of this bout without falling into a Wilkinson style fight? 205 lbs - Harry Sachz (9-8) Vs Aaron Alvarez (5-4) You only get one chance to make a first impression, but one chance is all you need. Promotional newcomer Harry Sachz will face a lot of pressure in his fight with Aaron Alvarez as he is currently on a three fight losing streak. The submission standout will be looking to take this fight to the ground where he has the advantage. Looking to keep the promotional newcomer off the winning track is Aaron Alvarez. Alvarez is a well rounded martial artist and he likes to show off his resourcefulness by switching game plans often. While Sachz will be looking for the takedowns, Alvarez would be better off standing and trading so expect this to be a classic striker Vs grappler matchup. 185 lbs - Kenji Sato (5-5) Vs James Bean (4-3) Don’t mistake their undercard status as a sign that this will be a boring fight, this is a rematch that could end up stealing the thunder from the entire main card if they are willing to go to war like they did last time. The last time these two clashed the fight went all over the place, it was a fight where neither had a significant advantage wherever the fight ended up and the fans loved it. They are well rounded and both are scrappy fighters that put their heart and soul out there when they step into that cage. 265 lbs - Ray Stuckey (3-1) Vs Quetzal Montezuma (3-3) "Rampaging" Ray Stuckey has a simple but very effective game plan, he just keeps punching you until you go down. Stuckey throws hard shots, constantly advances and isn’t afraid to take one to give one. He is a headhunter and even if you know what’s coming, one punch is all he needs to end the fight. Should he beat Montezuma, we could be looking at a future heavyweight title contender. Former champion Quetzal Montezuma was unsuccessful in capturing the belt for a second time and is now looking to get back in title contention, a win over prospect on the rise Ray Stuckey should do just that. Both heavyweights are known for their striking so expect this to be a standup war that could end by every single strike thrown. 170 lbs - Peaky Blinder (9-8) Vs Chinggis Khaan (2-0) Peaky Blinder just had an impressive career-resurrecting five fight winning streak snapped but a change of scenery could be just what he needs as he is set to make his promotional debut. Blinder is a dangerous fighter perpetually looking for an opening to finish the fight. He does have power in his hands but he doesn’t let it limit himself by focusing on one aspect of the game instead he has chosen to incorporate multiple aspects of as many martial art forms as possible in his skill set. Also making his promotional debut is the Spanish undefeated prospect Chinggis Khaan. Both his fights went by swiftly and we haven’t been able to really see the whole picture of what Khaan brings to the cage. We know that he can knock people out but a lot still remains a mystery in terms of MMA capabilities. 155 lbs - Whitey O Whitersson (7-7) Vs Stevie Franchise (7-7) Zimbabwean boxer Whitey O Whitersson didn’t do so well in his promotional debut to say the least. He got finished halfway through the first round in a brawl against Dick Pound. He needs to step up his game to end his current two fight losing streak. Fellow striker Stevie "The Hugmaster" Franchise had a great two fight winning streak snapped when he lost to Boris Zhivago but the hugmaster is still ranked high in the Omega cup standings and a solid win could be enough to get himself back in the number one position. 155 lbs - Boris Zhivago (3-1) Vs Otavio Martins (0-2) Fresh off an impressive performance, Boris "Ice Cold Killer" Zhivago didn’t just fight against Stevie Franchise. He made it a display of his well roundedness. Zhivago didn’t just want to win, he wanted to show the world that he was better than his opponent in every single possible way and did just that. If he can keep raking in the wins he could be poised for a higher ranked opponent soon. New signee Otavio Martins is looking to finally get his career started as he has yet to taste the sweet smell of victory. He hasn’t been able to impress and therefore not much is known about the Brazilian jiu jitsu brown belt. Will the new wind blowing through Omega take the current establishment by storm? Will the bully graduate with highest honors? This and more, find out on February twelfth.

  36. My assumption has been that energy is lost on a failed attempt just as you would with a failed takedown. I would say around 20% clinch attempt is enough in most cases to get you the intended result.

  37. For all I know this is already a thing, but if it isn't it should be. I don't know a lot about the fight promo side of the game. It works like this An org dissolves and their champ comes to your org. You match him with the champ of your analogous division - boom, hype bonus for that show, your org, hype bonus for the winner. Maybe even a trophy for the fighter that says "unified champ." You close your 145 lb division. The former 145 lb champ takes weight gain powder to challenge the 155 champion (this is known as "macgregoring"). Hype bonuses all around. It's a superfight! They'd probably be percentage based, with maybe a small flat figure as a minimum bonus to keep it attractive on the low end. Thoughts?
