  1. One of my favorite things on this game is when you get a message and one of your fighters happened to be in a documentary or was on the radio, and you go like, "Oh, how fun." But it doesn't happen that often. I'd like it if random stuff like that happens with the fighters more, and it got a little more chaotic. Not a lot, but a little. Like they were drunk in public and had to spend a night in jail, but the story was all over the news and everyone knows him now. So their popularity goes up but their morale goes down a little. Or they were invited on a sports entertainment talk show to give their opinion, and all he did was insult the competition and talk about how great he is and insult his fellow broadcasters, so his hype goes up.

  2. Looking for a few more entries for a 16 man 18 year old tournament to crown a champion for my new division. I'm hoping will start on the Sep 2nd. If your fighter is 18 on the 2nd September and is able to make 265lbs you can use him. Fights will be 4 weeks apart. Draw is random and will be available online for all to see. Contracts will be 4 fights. 3k to win 3k to lose. No signing bonus due to the salty fellows that will release their fighter after the first loss. Winner gets 1 year VIP, 100k and a shiny title belt and runner up gets 3 months. This is going to lead into a new division which will open to 18 year old projects so even if you do get knocked out of the tournament there will be fights for your guy after against other 18 year old losers P.S if something like this division has been attempted before and failed miserable for whatever reasons that I'm overlooking a heads up will be appreciated.

  6. Howdy folks! Welcome to the official smack talk thread of the Marty Robbin's Fight Ranch™! http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/15019453331501887577150.jpg Over the course of this season you will see 32 Mixed Martial Artists duke it out at the Robbin's family ranch right here in Agua Fria, NM (For legalities sake our official paper work says we're in Las Vegas ?). Also, For those of you asking, who is Marty Robbins? Let me answer that, Marty Robbins became a superstar overnight through the social media platform, Buzz, with his hashtag #PaSays capturing all the hilarious opinions of his redneck, cowboy Dad he calls Pa. With his do or die attitude, hes had some exciting fights in his young career already. However, Marty aspires one day to become an actor and avoid all the CTE (which hes already shown early signs of ). Anyway, back to the show, the fighters will stay in the breathtaking Casa de la #PaSays were they will be training, sleeping, eating, etc. for the next half a (tycoon) year. Contestants will do general chores on the ranch but will also participate in all sorts of challenges including shooting on the range, bull riding, mystery meat eating , etc. Fighters will be under the microscope as our camera team will be filming them 24/7 as our show is broadcasted on CMT™. Seasons will vary on theme to keep the show fresh and exciting to keep our audience on their toes! Now for the best part, 2 contestants will win a grand prize of $50,000, The Marty Robbin's Fight Ranch™ Golden Revolver Trophy, & A picture with yours truly, Marty Robbins ! If you have any issues, comments, questions, or derogatory statements about your fellow castmates, living conditions, etc. leave em here (or on buzz with a #FightRanch).

  11. Will be another 4 days, since that will mark 2 weeks since the last event. I actually told Billy to send on a contract with a 300 Auto Expire days thing, which means the contract will remain on offer to me for 300 days before automatically being rescinded, but he accidentally put it for 300 Inactivity Clause. I figured worst case scenario, he goes inactive and I just have to wait the 2 weeks and pop it, no harm done.

  24. If no event is booked and the org owner doesn't log on for 2 weeks then all Inactivity Clauses in the org get changed to 1 day allowing every fighter to leave. And yeah like Jamie said, Inactivity Clauses are there for that reason and usually come in at like 30 days.

  25. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14591792902508.png Marty "Big Iron" Robbins I had a chance to interview some of the guys as they enter the Casa de la #PaSays. Some guys were to busy unpacking or already getting into the complimentary, fully stocked Sully's Bar & Grill beer fridge. I asked em to tell me a little about themselves and why they decided to come out the fight ranch. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w40.jpg "El Chico Malo" Samuel Andrade (LHW Contestant making his Pro Debut on the Fight Ranch!) 'Dios mio, where to begin? I was born in Guadalajara, where I spent the first 20 years of my life with mi abuela and two elder brothers. Whilst my eldest brother, Hector, decided to take up arms against the federales, and Jesús, the middle, followed a career as a marine biologist; I felt as though the pugilistic life was for me, which led me to take up boxing in my youth. My family were poor before my brothers began their careers, which meant that we did not have many of the same luxuries some of the other children our street did. We had a tv with only 3 channels, and the only video game I had was Donald Trump's Real Estate Tycoon. My favourite show growing up was the Apprentice, which lay the foundation for my idolisation of the current president. I realised when I was 20 that staying in Guadalajara wouldn't allow me to progress my career any further, so I made my way to the land of the free the only way possible to me: in the back of a drug traffickers pickup truck. Anyway, this has been a lot of fun, but I must get back to training. iViva Mexico!' http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10w12.jpg Rich "The Money Maker" Tyme (FW Contestant / 0-1) " I am the oldest son in the Tyme family and try to represent them by staying professional. My two little brothers, Mark and Duke, are very close to me and I try to help them with their careers as best I can. I hope to do well at Marty Robbin's Fight Ranch so that I can be someone to look up to." http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w11.jpg Anatoly "The Chernobyl Monster" Gorbachenko (LHW Contestant / 4-1) "My first memory of Chernobyl? My earliest birthday memory, of course! People always talked about it, at home and at school, since I was born on the day of the actual explosion. My poopoo smells extra bad but radiation gives me more power. Nobody can stand with me. After my first loss to a submission called an "Americana" I vowed to never taste defeat again comrade. So I come to America to the Ranch to learn this Americana business and to fuc...errr.. tend to the goats. I love animals." http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b2.jpg Frodo "Rudy" Pitlik (LHW Contestant / 0-8) "Hello, I am a Slovakian fighter. I love this sport and I do it wholeheartedly" Interesting stuff! Hope to get a hold of the others and let the world get to know em a little better!

  27. Speaking as a very new player, I can think of a few things... -New players will build fighters fast...and screw them all up. Right now I waiting to get rid of three more duds (after sacking 4 already!). They need an idea how to build a goid fighter right ftom the start. Which leads me to... -They have no idea how difficult this game is, and the sooner they get in touch with a mentor the better. -It's not at all obvious that people are actually helpful and friendly...new players won't even imagine that until they've been contacted by someone. -Need a guide which actually talks about how to play WELL...not just how to play...

  37. Preview for DARE 1 In Amsterdam's Underground, a new game will be in town. DARE 1 is about to change the landscape of Amsterdam's fighting scene. Dropping in an anything but subtle fashion, DARE 1 kicks things off with a teeth shattering bang! Ten fights, that will make up the first ever Daredevils MMA event, are scheduled for tonight. Oddis Slajos (3-1) vs Tommy Gavin (1-0) – Bantamweight bout The first ever Daredevils MMA fight and opener for DARE 1 will take place at 135. Oddis Slajos and Tommy Gavin will battle it out. All in order to see, who will be the first one to ever get his hand raised under the DARE banner. Despite not having fought much, both men have been in pro training for quite a while now. So either man's record greatly obscures their actual ability. Thomas Raske (1-0) vs Spider Minor (1-1) – Welterweight bout Following is a bout at 170, Thomas Raske vs. Spider Minor. This fight also pits two fighters against each other, who are at the beginning of their prize fighting efforts. Both have a very broad base of skills, taking the jack of all trades approach. So, just like in the fight before, it is kind of hard to see where this one might go. Which is often the best recipe for an exciting fight …… or a boring stalemate. Virtually anything can happen! Ryan "Jaded" Parks (0-3) vs "Red Ribbon Armys" Android Eighteen (2-4-1) – Bantamweight bout This fights pits two combatants against each other, who could both do well with a win, as both have losing records at this point in time. With Ryan Parks having an imperfect 0-3 to his name. Should he also fail to best Android 18, who so far has turned out to be not the sturdiest of Android's, then he will go down the path of whipping boy for all purposes. Owen "The Crazy One" Kyle (3-4) vs Simon "Unbreakable" Udovich (2-0) – Super Heavyweight bout The fourth fight will reveal to fans that Daredevils MMA also has a super heavyweight division. And in best 265+ tradition, two big sluggers will try to take their heads off. Don't let the four losses of Kyle foll you. All these came by way of submission. And he is going up against a KT fighter in Simon Udovich. So until the latter doesn't surprise us with some slick ground game, this one will be resolved on the feet, where both man have a 100% knockout ratio to their names. Mantak "The Mongoose" Cebu (5-1) vs "The Midas" Marky Mark (1-0) – Lightweight bout The undercard will be finished off by this fight at 155. Mantak Cebu is a Muay Thai stylist with a very active kicking game and a 100% knockout ratio. He will go up against Marky mark, who comes from a boxing background and is arguably the better grappler of the two, but has just one fight to his name. Cebu's six fights are likely to give him the advantage in the experience department. Adam Baumann (4-1) vs Mark "The Smashing Machine" Kerr (1-1) – Heavyweight bout The main card will be kicked off by two heavyweight youngsters, looking for some more glory in order to get their name out. Adam Baumann is the favorite here, for he is remarkably skilled for a fighter of 21 years of age and has shown already, that he finds ways to end fights, no matter where they go. He won two via submission and two via KO. Mark Kerr will have his hands full, but by the same token could gain massive recognition, should he manage to pull off the upset. "Droppin Bombs On Ya Moms" The Prophet (6-3) vs Vike Nickolson (8-11) – Bantamweight bout As we go up the card, more experienced fighters start to show up. The Prophet has proven to be a comparably busy youngster already, going 6-3 in his nine career fights at the still very young age of 22. He has weaknesses on the ground, which he will need to address, but is a dangerous fighter on the feet, where he is showing tremendous endurance and a reliable chin. An all around durable striker, who can be very dangerous if things become as scrappy as he loves them to be. His opponent, Vike Nicholson, is a journeyman, who is actually a very good wrestler and gets his best work done in the clinch. However, he is often far too content to keep things standing. Something that has cost him time and time again in the past and that he better wants to avoid against the violent Prophet, who will clearly have the edge in that department. Ryan Riggs (10-1) vs Tony "The Twister" Spareno (1-1) – Heavyweight bout Flowing is a fight that looks far more lopsided on paper than it actually is. Ryan Riggs, rocking a 10-1 record, may be tempted to think that he will simply run through Tony Spareno, who is just 1-1 so far. However, Tony's last fight was quite a while ago. And given his youth, it will be hard to properly estimate just how sizable the advances are, that he has made since. So Ryan Riggs better makes intelligent use of his heavy hands. Otherwise he may to have some explaining to do afterward. Mike "Inner Chimp" Tycoon (14-4) vs Sampsa "Metsä" Pellervoinen (6-1) – Light Heavyweight bout The co-main event will see to hard punchers collide. Both typically win their fights by knockout. But their paths to this outcome are drastically different from each other. Tycoon is a busy, hard-hittin' puncher, who is at home in the clinch and in open exchanges on the feet. Pellervoinen, in contrast to that, is a typical ground an pounder, who really starts going to work mercilessly and quickly, once he brings the fight to mat. He also has some submission skills, that he can use to his advantage. This one pits two stylistically different finishers against each other. Don't count on it going the distance! Artie "Beer League" DeVanzo (39-23-1) vs Carlos Centurion (31-10-2) – Welterweight bout DARE 1 will be concluded by this special main event. Both fighters signed exclusively for this opportunity to fight each other! They both are veterans of the sport with over 30 victories to their respective names. And should “Beer League” win this one, he would have his 40th win in dry wraps. That will be easier said than done, though. For Carlos Centurion is one tough, grizzled veteran, who has great endurance and has been put away decisively just five times throughout his career. He is a super busy puncher and leg kicker and also scores frequently in the clinch, using all of his limbs to great effect. DeVanzo will likely try to get some quality time on the ground going for him, where he will have the aggressive edge. This one is wide open, because both these veterans still have quite a bit of fight left and the experience to make it count. Don't miss this one!

  40. This would fuck the server and the engine. You guys might as well shoot for the moon and request fighter animations where we see our fighters scrapping instead of reading it. with the way the fight engine works. it'd be way to easy to manipulate sliders and the system.

  41. and the predict sliders toolbar? I'm pretty sure Mike shot this idea down for a reason, because of the complexity and unpredictability of the fight engine. this type of thing would prolly make it go haywire.

  47. But don't underestimate the amount of strikes being thrown in boxing. Several times the amount, that we typically stand to see in an MMA fight. MUCH more volume. And your arms will get tired. McGregor will be outstruck by quite a margin against Mayweather. Getting decked in the mug and in the gut is somewhat tiresome as well. He will fade quickly. I think Mayweather will mercifully put him away mid-fight. I only see Conor go the distance if Mayweather fights so super conservative, to the point that it would be uncharacteristically even for him.
