  1. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/151639301247pbCfp.gif SyFi 34 Preview by Malikoy Muza April 7th, 2018 - Hard Knocks in Sydney, Australia The crowning of the new lightweight champion this past Sunday in SyFi 32 sets the scene for the main event of the evening, as Akimbo Spice (previously mistakenly assumed to be Petchuangtong Sitsongrit) and Max Luther look to better each other in the number one contendership bout for the 155 pound belt. Sydney Fights owner Boble Lineman himself went on record to state that the lightweight title 'has seen more twists than a Rocky Mountain pass' and if that's the case, we're bout to have ourselves an avalanche here tonight! Let's get onto the bouts, shall we.. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15200241208016.png VS. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14957558706644.png Lightweight Division's No. 1 Contendership - (#3) 'The Black Prophet' Akimbo Spice [3 - 0] vs. (#4) Max Luther [4 - 0] All the action and controversy in the lightweight division has seen number four ranked Max Luther going without much fanfare, despite finishing all his SyFi fights by impressive first round TKOs. He has a sledgehammer of a right hand he looks to bring forth to Spice's chin in Akimbo's first appearance since being dropped by his camp and finding new management. What better way to return than a huge match up with the Bahamian followed by his hype train and Luther by his legions of fans. These two are looking to throw down, no questions asked. The key will be Luther's big right, how often will he be landing it, but also his clinch game as while potent, Spice is no slouch in his own right. For Akimbo, he needs to move in and out quickly, trying to avoid being caught. Whether from the counter, off a combo or simply leading with it, Luther's right hand is always going to be a danger and something tells me there's going to be fireworks with a possible knock out in this one. Spice has the better overall game though, so it's a tough fight to call. PICK: Pick 'Em! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20180120101433Belt.jpg For The Bantamweight Title - © Glass Joe [3 - 0] vs. (#1) 'Sumato Attack' Daichi Kishimoto [4 - 1] Glass Joe surprised many as he not only managed to last five rounds with Marcelo Barbosa, but actually edged him out on the score cards to take home the Bantamweight championship. Of course the official oddsmakers at Sydney Fights had Barbosa as the underdog, but our top secret insider reports have acknowledged that even Glass Joe's manager thought him winning was a long shot! The reigning champion will have new found confidence when he goes against Daichi Kishimoto, the first challenger threatening his gold. Kishimoto made his SyFi debut March 17th in SyFi 25 where he submitted Brain Fog with a guillotine choke. Fresh off being ranked number one in the divisional rankings, Kishimoto looks to succeed in what Marcelo Barbosa didn't: taking down Glass Joe. And unlike Barbosa, with Daichi's wrestling chops it shouldn't be an issue, especially since he's got gas to go for days and is absolutely relentless with the takedowns. Joe needs to go out there and stop Kishimoto, not simply point box a decision. Daichi Kishimoto's got a chin, passable stand up skills, as well as the intangible knockout power, which he hasn't got a chance to demonstrate much so far in his MMA career. PICK: Daichi Kishimoto by submission. Bantamweight Division's No. 1 Contendership - (#2) Dieselnoi Por Pramuk [3 - 0] vs. (#4) Gary 'The Mighty' Dema [3 - 1] Somebody dial in Momma Dema's number ready because this is going to be a bad night for Gary! This is despite Dema coming off a pair of victories as of late in SyFi, against Vladimir Shevchenko and Zharis Palmidi and establishing himself as the number four ranked Bantamweight in the promotion. Somewhat of a clincher, he has to dig deep to find something else in the bag against Por Pramuk, who is the more talented all-around fighter. Very much the definition of a mixed martial artist, Dieselnoi Por Pramuk has two wins in Kickboxing, one in SyFi and two in the MMA local circuit. Now these warriors look to get a chance at glory for the Bantamweight gold in the future. PICK: Dieselnoi Por Pramuk by decision. Super Heavyweight Division - Ted 'The Million Dollar Man' Dibiase [1 - 0] vs. (#6) Matt 'The Guvna' Wills [2 - 1] Everyone has a price! I guess it's scribbled down on Ted's contract or he wouldn't be signed to fight. A sprawl and brawler with a background in boxing, Ted Dibiase made quick work in his professional debut in WeInSyd 3 by TKOing Sega Genesis in 104 seconds. Matt Wills faced a strikingly similar build in his SyFi debut against Harald Knochmal, where he got KOed with only 58 seconds in the clock. Since then he has stretched out submission wins against Yoshimitzu Sakuraba and Ivar The Boneless, climbing up to rank six in the Super Heavyweight division. Due to Wills' non-existent stand up game, there's always going to be an opportunity for a good striker to slip in shots to get a TKO, but his great grappling pedigree means he's a threat on the ground. PICK: Matt Wills by submission. Light Heavyweight Division - (#9) Benjamin Bronckhorsten [2 - 1 - 1] vs. Unknown Combatant [5 - 4] Unknown Combatant is making his first SyFi appearance, a very able boxer going toe to toe with the ninth ranked Light Heavyweight in Benjamin Bronckhorsten. Bronckhorsten's lone showing thus far was his bout with Corey Smith Jr, where they boxed for fifteen minutes until Benjamin got the nod from the judges. Combatant and Bronckhorsten are no doubt going to have much the same type of fight, standing and trading in the pocket taking shots to the chin. The chin they're sure is going to hold up. The one with the higher output is the likely winner. PICK: Unknown Combatant by decision. Lightweight Division - Chief 'Crazy' Eyes [2 - 1] vs. John 'Long' Johnson [4 - 1] Eyes and Johnson made their debuts in WeInSyd 3, with Chief Eyes beating Josh Alli and John Johnson getting one over Johnny Blaze. Eyes hasn't actually been able to showcase much of his skillset in his three pro fights, but he looks like a pure striker while Johnson is the typical sprawl and brawler. Johnson has got a legit granite chin so it'll be interesting to see if Chief has enough force in his hands to lay him out. PICK: Chief Eyes by TKO. Lightweight Division - Landon 'Holly' Wood [2 - 1] vs. 'Boston' Bob Madden [1 - 0] Coming in from KAMIKAZE, Landon Wood is a solid boxer with a purple belt in BJJ. In his three fights with KAMIKAZE he went 2 - 1 and even took some of the action to the ground, though where he failed to do much. Madden is a certified black belt with one decision victory over Jorginho Marcelo in SyFi 23, where he couldn't get a submission on the brown belt, but got the win on the score cards. This time around he's going to have a much easier chance of breaking through defences with a quick shot and drive through right when the fight's on. PICK: Bob Madden by submission. Super Heavyweight Division - (#7) Ben 'Money' Morro [2 - 0] vs. (#4) 'The Russian Bear' Wladimir Yaroslev [2 - 0] Ranked heavyweight action as these two are riding high on the backs of their undefeated win streaks here in Sydney Fights. Morro is going to find it difficult to defend the takedowns of Yaroslev so he needs to go on a bombing run on the feet. Morro hasn't yet faced anyone the style of 'The Russian Bear' in his career yet and this might be a short showing. PICK: Wladimir Yaroslev by TKO. Bantamweight Division - Alexander Volg 'Red Wolf' Zangief [1 - 0] vs. Chief 'Rushing' Waters [1 - 1] Alexander Volg Zangief had SyFi fans throats' sore - for booing at the action for it's entire duration. Zangief used his grappling and takedowns to grind out a victory. Chief Waters is likewise one ahead in SyFi, a capable wrestler with a similar dirty style to his opponent. They might cancel each other out since they strengths lie in the same areas, but even more likely is that one fighter manages to execute their gameplan better and grab a decision from the judges. PICK: Alexander Volg Zangief by decision. Super Heavyweight Division - Adam 'Monster' Hardy [2 - 2] vs. Bogdan Uzun [0 - 0] Adam Hardy has had a rough start in Sydney Fights, first losing to Ole Anderson by submission and then to Yuri Krakov by a brutal knee to the face. Unfortunately for him, it doesn't look to get much easier for him as he faces Bogdan Uzun, whose trainers at FIERCE claim that he is a well rounded hybrid specimen. He needs to avoid Adam Hardy's attempts at getting in close for a takedown and keep this going on the feet as Hardy shouldn't be counted out due to his decision fighting ability. PICK: Bogdan Uzun by TKO.

  2. SyFi 33 Hayashi's Lounge in Sydney 06 Apr 2018 Sydney Fights will be presenting you SyFi 33 live at Hayashi's lounge in Sydney! Don't forget, before or after to stop by Forge Clothing Co.! The Main Event Light Heavyweight Bout Cornelius Albatross (5-1) vs. Ken Ring (5-0) Cornelius Albatross fighting out of Tokyo has had a solid start to his career. Even making a great start to his SyFi career winning by TKO before the first minute in the first round. Currently on a three fight win streak the Muay Thai fighter has his eyes on the prize a title shot for the Light Heavyweight belt. His opponent Ken Ring will be making his debut for SyFi after an Impressive five fight win streak in Sydney's local circuits. In Ring's career he has yet to even enter the second round before ending his opponent with his heavy hands. This should be a very entertaining fight and that is exactly why it'll be headlining SyFi 33. Milner's Breakdown: Both of these fighters are equal all around. Both are Muay Thai fighters and both have the same level of wrestling. The only thing setting these fighters apart is the fact that Albatross might have the weaker chin. Middleweight Bout Apollo Reid (5-3) vs. Mickey Diaz (3-0) Apollo "The Master of Disaster" Reid started his career like most fighters in the local circuits where he went 4-0. After going through a few fight orgs he lost three consecutive fights until finally signing up for SyFi in which he won his debut fight via a Head kick against Darth Bo. Hopefully that's enough for Reid to get the morale back he had lost. His opponent Mickey Diaz has had an impressive start to his career finishing all three of his opponents and winning his debut match for SyFi by a submission. Milner's Breakdown: Apollo Reid seems to have a more balanced approach of all the fighting systems, while his opponent has the advantage in Boxing and a brown belt in BJJ. Unfortunately Reid really only has the advantage with his wrestling. So it'll be a hard fight to win but if Reid can focus on getting the points he could possibly win. Bantamweight Bout Jazz Clementine (3-1) vs. Merrill Willson (3-1) Clementine will be making his debut match for SyFi after a stint in the Rise organization where he went 2-1. His most recent fight had him win against Echart Tolle by TKO. Wilson will also be making his debut. So far he's had three fights in the QFC in which he won every fight by submission. For his only org fight, he had lost by decision. Milner's Breakdown: Clementine will be able to dominate this fight easily, being the better striker and wrestler. Willson's only advantage is his brown belt in BJJ. Middleweight Bout Zedidiah Goldberg (1-0) vs. Reiner Brawn (5-1) Zedidiah Goldberg made his debut into MMA and SyFi with a glorious knock out in the first round. And of course having a fight camp called the Stark Slugger Soceity is a tell tale sign he's going to be an excellent striker. His opponent Reiner Brawn is the much more experienced fighter having a total of six fights. Two of those being with Sydney Fighting both wins by unanimous decisions. Milner's Breakdown: Zedidiah will have absolutely no issue dominating the striking game, he does not however have the wrestling to keep himself standing. Brawn will have the wrestling and once he takes Zedidiah down will be able to submit without much of a problem. Lightweight Bout Philip Moore (0-1) vs. Jorginho Marcelo (0-2) Not a single win for either of these fighters. The good thing is that it will change for one of them. Moore will be making his debut, usually a fighter will want a few wins under their belt through the local circuits before stepping up to the bigger orgs. Marcelo made his debut in his last fight but lost via a unanimous decision against Bob Madden. Milner's Breakdown: Moore has wonderful Muay Thai abilities and even has better boxing capabilities then his opponent Marcelo. Middleweight Bout Misko Raznatovic (0-0) vs. Henning Lind (0-1) The Serbian Raznatovic may have never fought in the world of MMA, but he has a 3-1 record in TWGC where he made it to the Semi-finals before losing a fight to the judges. His opponent that beat him actually went on to winning Division 4. I truly do believe with a committed manager Raznatovic will be one of the top tier fighters in the near future. Raznatovic's opponent Henning Lind is coming into the fight with a record of 0-1. Losing his only fight by TKO at Kamikaze 78 in tokyo. A side by side comparison Lind has the upper hand in striking and wrestling but being a purple belt in BJJ leaves him in Raznatovic's hand if it goes to the ground. Middleweight bout Russell Westbrook (1-1) vs. Gabriel Melo (0-1) Russell Westbrook an Australian native from Melbourne will be making his debut after a two fight stint in the QFC. He lost his first match to John Sullivan who ended up signing for Sydney Fights for two bouts before leaving for another org. Gabriel Melo's only fight was a TKO loss in the first round. Welterweight bout Roy Jones Gracie (1-2) vs. Tulio Souza (6-3) Roy Jones started out kind of rough but after a submission victory against Tommy Lotus, who by the way is 54 years old, has hopefully gotten the confidence he needed to get his career going. No better match than this one, for this will be his debut for this org. Tulio Souza will also be making his debut tonight and is on a three fight win streak. Five out of his six wins have came by the way of submission so you can already guess his game plan. Milner's Breakdown: Roy Jones has remarkable boxing and a purple belt in BJJ. While Souza also has purple belt he does have better wrestling. Light Heavyweight Bout Mikhail Mikhailov (1-1) vs. Travis Banks (0-2) Both fighters coming off of debut losses. Mikhail the Russian striker is aiming for the head to get a KO win on his record while the much more rounded fighter from New Zealand, Travis Banks will be looking to exploit Mikhails weaknesses, which would be Mikhail's back on the ground. Featherweight Bout Nikos Basoukos (0-2) vs. Don Flamenco (0-0) The Greek Basoukos will need to do something to win in this fight. The good thing for him is he should have his inexperienced nervousness under control now. Now that he's been in the cage twice he should be more comfortable than his opponent. The Spaniard Don Flamenco will be making his MMA debut in this event. Flamenco has been training with the boys at The Sydney Combat method so he should be well prepped for this fight. Milner's Breakdown: Nikos has proficient boxing and a blue belt in BJJ, Flamenco has wonderful Muay Thai and also a blue belt in BJJ. I would give Flamenco the advantage in the striking while they would both be equal at grappling. Giving that Flamenco has a good team behind him he should definitely get a win for his first fight.

  3. Sydney Fights a look into the title Race (Updated: 04/03) To me the most important and one of the break or make criterias in an Org is the way titles are handed out and defended. 4. A little later than usual let's get the recap of last weekends action done, Updated Rankings to follow later on: Syfi - Weekend Recap: SyFi 30 - Friday Friday nights in Sydney are there to heat the crowd up, no title fights yet, but already ranked action and deep stacked cards. This Friday 1998 fight fans found their way into Hiyashis Lounge, The Main Event and the Co-Main Event at 265+ and 155 saw fighters, that lost title fights before, and wanted to climb their way up in the rankings. At 155 Pat Williams showed this class, and beat Alex Coated by submission in less than a minute, at 265+ however, Jeff Messer got a second loss in a row, banging it out with Hulk Hogan, who won his first fight at SyFi. In other action, at 205 Sheamus Meallan climbed his way up the rankings, staying unbeaten in his 3rd SFC fight. Man Itizer and Chief Thunder ROlls also picked up wins to get into Top 10 positions in their weight class. Fight of the night: Jengo Makumba vs Emil Derrick KO of the night: Chief Thunder Rolls Sub of the night: Pat Williams SyFi 31 - Saturday 2 Title Fights highlighted an action packed Saturday Card, 2497 viewers and a SyFi High 126.03 Event Rating showed the class of the card. The Main Event got us a new 205 Champ, as Mister McNasty took a 3rd ROund TKO to dethrone the Champion Camara, who took his first pro defeat. In the other title fight, Илья Муромец defended his 145 belt, by beating Sun Ming. It was a 2 Round Battle, and the young Russian made his first succesful defence. In other action Sergei Geng KOed Dante in Round 1, to become the next challenger at 145, to make an all Russian Title Fight. Travis Dillon picked up another caluable win at 265, to stay unbeaten in SFC action, he is on his way to a title fight. Highlight of the Night was the only fight to go to Decision, where Ciro di Marcio got a 185 all ranked win against Sammy Killbach. 6. I think it s not fair to ask the gym owner to just dump the products if the gym is active in anyway, you have to wait till they are finished. gyms outnumber the nutrition companies by a crazy number it s very difficult for gyms to find a nutrition partner to fill up the vending machine. I guess vending machine does n't generate much of an income for the nutrition company anyways, does it?

  7. Mr Sandman: I was still eyeing the ring girls and had my mind elsewhere when the bell rang. Cannot do that against a good boxer like Alto, I'll take this as a wake up call. I'm ready for another fight, want to show I can do better.

  8. Yes great writeup. Glass Joe is my first ever fighter and I'm happy to see he made it this far. He is living the dream now and won't give that belt up easily

  9. IFC Mid Week 21 (4th April, 2018 - King Theatre - Los Angeles) Prelims Fight 1 - Middleweight Division (6-17, 210 lbs) Raheem “The Dream” Nazir VS (2-4, 210 lbs) “Coldblood” Ed Killer Nazir vs killer will be a battle of fighters both trying to get their first victory in the IFC organization. Both of these fighters have struggled so far and would love to pick up a win to halt their negative momentum. Nazir wants to take this fight to the ground where he can use his superior wrestling to control from the top while Killer has a large advantage while standing and hopes to land some significant strikes on Nazir before being taken to the ground. I would give the advantage to Nazir, because although they are similarly skilled in jiu jitsu, Killer has no wrestling experience and should struggle to not be taken down. Fight 2 - Middleweight Division (1-3, 192 lbs) Hanny “The Fist” Sledgehammer VS (2-6, 170 lbs) Nevil “Sinclair” Hawk Sledgehammer and Hawk both have earned themselves one win in the IFC against the same person. However, Sledgehammer lost his next fight whereas Hawk has not fought since his win. Hawk is a pure boxer who does everything he can to stay on his feet where his boxing skill can put him ahead with a decision win. Sledgehammer on the other hand is a diverse fighters who can utilize just about any style he chooses to try and get his win. Hawk has struggled against anyone who can get him to the ground having been submitted 5 of his 6 losses and he will probably struggle against Sledgehammer due to this fact. Undercard Fight 3 - Middleweight Division (7-8, 210 lbs) Chong “The Star Fish” Tay VS (1-1, 187 lbs) Dangerous Dan Tay has been around in the IFC since IFC 2 and has done pretty well for himself so far. However, he has been plagued with inconsistency beating some of his stronger opposition then losing to fighters many would argue are weaker. His most recent victory over Koniezko showed that he still has the skills to fight with the best if he can become more consistent he has what it takes to get into the power rankings. Its hard to predict how strong Dan is exactly, because both of his previous fights happened 8 months ago. A victory against Tay would go far in proving that he will be a successful fighter in the IFC. Tay will need to keep his feet in this one to get the win, but I don’t know if he will be able to against Dan’s Superb wrestling. Fight 4 - Middleweight Division (11-9, 204 lbs) Bricks “Parpaing” Thrower VS (2-0, 215 lbs) Vincenzo Kirby Thrower participated in the very first IFC event and has been here since always on the cusp of beating a top fighter, but never quite managing to make his way into the highest tier. He has lost two fights in a row now and needs to try and halt his skid before he goes from being a perennial upper middle fighter to an average fighter. However, given his history he has never lost 3 fights in a row and he will do everything in his power to make sure he doesn’t start now. Kirby is only two fights into his career and Thrower is by far his toughest opponent yet. In both of his previous fights he ultimately won by decision through a barrage of kicks. His fighting style is one that is almost never seen in the mma world, because he focuses heavily on his kicks throwing only kicks so far, but still winning through accuracy and superior cardio. If Kirby sticks to his previous fighting style his chances of winning are rather low, but if he utilizes his superior muay thai he should be the one going home with the win. Fight 5 - Lightweight Division #10 (5-2, 164 lbs) “The Late Great” Feihck Tiote VS (0-0, 165 lbs) Ivan Kovacevic Tiote only joined the IFC recently and this fight will be his IFC debut. He had an impressive run in the PFF before joining hosting a 2-1 record with all three fights being title fights. He hopes to continue to show what made him a champion in his new organization with this fight. Kovacevic is making his mma debut with relatively little being known about the young fighter. We have heard that he specializes in muay thai, but has practiced little else so we will get to see just how he can use his very narrow fighting style to try and earn a victory. Tiote should be the clear favorite coming, because of his fighting history, but with Kovacevic being an unknown you never know just what he may come out of his corner with. Fight 6 - Lightweight Division #13(8-4-2, 155 lbs) Harry Entei VS #14(5-2, 135 lbs) Gosha Lopez Entei has had a pretty good run so far, managing to host an impressive 8-4-2 record (somehow managing two draws when most fighters end their careers with none). He has struggled to end fights going to decision 8 of his 14 fights, but more often than not he comes out ahead on the judge’s scorecard. In his IFC debut he managed to get the solid decision victory over Xavier through his impressive boxing with a little dirty boxing mixed in as well. Lopez will be a great test for Entei and finding where exactly he will fall in the IFC rankings, because Lopez has managed to beat some of the higher level fighters in the organization and his two losses both came against fighters currently in the power rankings of their respective divisions. The winner of this fight will make a strong case in showing that they belong in the top tier of the IFC lightweight division. Lopez should have the advantage, as he is superior in skill in most of the fighting disciplines. Main Card Fight 7 - Heavyweight Division #12(10-7, 270 lbs) Vincent Lemieux VS (7-8, 240 lbs) Taz “Crash” Bandichoo Lemieux is right on the cusp of breaking into the upper rankings, but has fallen short time after time losing 3 straight against those in the top 15. However, he has consistently beaten those not in the top 10 and earned himself the #12 spot with no one able to knock him out of the rankings. Bandichoo hopes to knock Lemieux out of the top 15 and take Lemeiux’s spot for himself. He has been off and on He is an impressive boxer who does well against passive fighters, but he has struggled to avoid his opponent’s strikes and generally comes off worse in fights against other good boxers. Lemieux has very poor muay thai skills so I would give the advantage to Bandichoo with wonderful matched up against abysmal muay thai. Fight 8 - Lightweight Division #7(9-8, 152 lbs) Evgeni Lomachenko VS #15(6-3, 165 lbs) Tzwrtzos Peidis Lomachenko is coming off of a disappointing loss to the first ranked Island in the second round via submission. However, losing to the top ranked fighter isn’t a sign of poor ability and he is a very strong fighter that should not be underestimated by anyone. Peidis is hoping to shake off his two straight losses against the fighters who are now fighting in the #1 contender fight to decide who gets their shot at the belt. Its not a stretch to say that Peidis is two victories away from his own title shot and a quick recovery with a win in this fight would go far in putting him back in a position where he could strive for a title shot. Lomachenko will be striking at Peidis’ weakness with a strong wrestling and jiu jitsu game. All it will take is one takedown attempt from Lomachenko and Peidis wil almost certainly lose. Fight 9 - Middleweight Division #6(11-4, 190 lbs) Brooklyn Brawler VS #8(10-6, 180 lbs) Manuel Lora Brawler took the champ into the fifth round in his last fight while the champ took the first two rounds Brawler made a recovery by winning the third and fourth rounds, but couldn’t quite hold up to the abuse and was knocked out 22 seconds into the fifth round. Now he is fighting the impressive Lora and a win here would go far in helping him get back to another title shot as quickly as possible. Lora is the man who wants to prevent Brawler from continuing his reign in the upper half of the rankings. This is only Lora’s second fight since joining the IFC and it will be his first true test since joining. This fight is where we truly find out just how good of a fighter Lora is, because he is going against one of the best fighters the IFC middleweight division has to offer. Brawler’s wrestling isn’t quite as strong as Lora’s, but it should be enough to prevent Brawler from being taken down so I’d give a very very very slight edge to Brawler in this one. Fight 10 - Lightweight Division #1 Contender Fight #1(11-5, 145 lbs) Mister Island VS #6(10-7, 150 lbs) Daniel “The Unsanitary” Sainty Since joining the IFC, Island has beaten two of the more impressive fighters in the IFC and has found his way into his shot at a title match. He has already participated in 6 title fights so far in his fighting career with two of them being title defenses. His superb wrestling combined with his brown belt in jiu jitsu has resulted in 10 submission wins in only 11 victories. Sainty just like Island has beaten strong fighters to get to this point and he comes in as the underdog with his sixth ranking in the IFC lightweight division. Also similar to his opponent is the fact that he has 10 submission victories. Island is coming in trying to replace the old guard Sainty as a new fighter to the IFC takes on a fighter like Sainty who has been around since the first ever IFC event. Both fighters love to fight it out on the ground, but Sainty has the advantage standing and in jiu jitsu, while Island has the advantage wrestling. Overall I’d give Sainty the slight advantage, but either fighter is capable of winning this as evidenced by the fact that they made it to the #1 contender fight. -Eric Leoanrd

  12. Ok that is your opinion, i like facts much more though, here was the official stats: Total punches landed Joshua = 139 vs 101 Parker (by no means would i call that a landslide difference) Total Jabs landed = Joshua 93 vs 49 Parker. Power shots landed Joshua 46 vs Parker 52 Parker was also the more active of the fighters throwing more. So all in all, the Jab saved Joshua because in the power strikes he was losing. Note: nobody said Joshua had a better jab than Klitschko, in fact i think he has one of the best jabs in modern HW history (if not the best), but against a much smaller fighter like Parker, it was the obvious weapon (he also talked about this in his interview after the fight).

  20. To clear this up... those cities with those mass shootings and murders have nothing to do with gun laws... strict gun laws.. or relaxed guns law... it has nothing to do with it. that's what happens when you have a dense population of poverty in confined areas and a mass amount of people who have embraced a violent culture. there's all kinds of trailer, hillbilly, livin in the woods poverty people... but they aren't very likely to get into shootouts with their neighbors over what colors they're wearing. we need a massive culture change. right now the media is imprinting deranged school shooting activity and it's being advertised to a bunch of kids who begin to fantasize about extracting revenge on people who make fun of them, pick on em, disagree with em... you know why there's so many mass shootings? because it's front page news, constantly. it's getting imprinted into people's brains. the media, the internet, music, movies, games, all that shit plays a role to some degree. combine that with mental instability, dementia, or very hurt or sick individuals... throw it in a shaker and shake her all about and boom. some people come out of it shooting.

  21. SyFi 32 (by James Milner) 01 Apr 2018 Lightweight Title Fight Gennady Golovkin (4-2) vs. Bernardo De Barros (4-0) For the main event we will have the title fight for the vacant Lightweight Title.(edit by Boble Lineman: This is a title, that despite the short history of Sydney Fights has seen more twists than a Rocky Mountain pass. Two days after Petchuangdot Sitonkrit won the title, the former Muay Thai fighter was dropped by his camp, and the title got vacated. Petchuangdot than found a new identity as Akimbo Spice, and now will be looking at this match very closely, as he can be the next challenger, if succesful next week) Both fighters undefeated in the organization they will both be looking to become the next lightweight champion. Kennedy Golovkin is coming into the fight with a record of 4-2 With three fights under him in the organization. All three fights have ended with a knockout win within the first round. His opponent also with three fights in the organization has won all of his fights via submission in the first round. This will be a huge test for both fighters and it will be a huge moment for the fight fans in Sydney! Welterweight Bout Kevin Daughtrey (5-0) vs. Raul Do Nascimento (2-0) Kevin Daughtrey came into this organization with a record of 4-0 in his Local circuit. He then made his debut at SyFi 22 with a knock out over his opponent Johnny Johnsen. His opponent Nascimento also made his debut in his last fight at WeinSyd 2 obtaining a victory by a Rear Naked Choke in the first round. Milner's Breakdown: Daughtrey has the edge on his opponent standing up and will have wrestling to possibly keep Nascimento from getting him to the ground. Nascimento will definitely be able to control the ground game but he has to get his opponent on the ground for it to be any use. As long as he has a solid chin he might be able to make it happen, and this fight will definitely test his chin. Welterweight Bout Akira Harada (4-0) vs. Thor Odinson (1-0-1) If you have some time, you should read Harada's biography on why he's such a badass. Don't worry it's not a long read it's very short and to the point. At the age of 19 he is already a very promising fighter. To be honest I'm going to keep track of Harada's career because I feel like it's going to be a good one. His record coming into this fight is 4-0 with all of his fights he has ended his opponent in the first round with his remarkable boxing skills. His opponent Thor Odinson got his first win on his debut match at WeinSyd 1 by TKO at the closing seconds of the first round. Milner's Breakdown: These two fighters will both look to stand and bang. Harada with superior boxing and Odinson with the superior Muay Thai. I expect this fight to be a TKO! Welterweight Bout Scotty Toute (2-0) vs. Idont know (2-1) This will be Scotty Toute's third fight in this organization. His first fight he won by TKO, his second by unanimous decision. It will also be Idont knows third fight in the org, his debut fight for SyFy he lost via TKO. Fortunately for him his last fight he won via a RNC so his confidence should be where it needs for this fifht. Milner's Breakdown: Toute has the superior striking skills and wrestling. Know has the superior grappling ability. Unfortunately for Know the fight will most likely be controlled by Toute. Middleweight Bout Jack Anville (4-3) vs. Ricardo Burduada No Cranio (2-1) This will be both fighters debut match for SyFy. Jack Anville had a great start to his career winning three in a row, then he went downhill and lost three in a row. He finally caught the "W" he needed in his last fight with a win. Now Anville will make his debut to SyFy hoping for a fresh start and a clean slate to get his career off the ground again. His opponent No Cranio spent his three fights in the QFC, where he got his record 2-1. Milner's Breakdown: For young fighters these two are both very well rounded. Jack Anville though will be the better striker and wrestler. While No Cranio will be able to handle himself well striking it won't be the place he dominates. No Cranio will need to be able to take this fight to the ground in order to win. Bantamweight Bout DeJuan Carneiro (1-0) vs. Vladimir Shevchenko (2-1) Carneiro one and only fight was a submission victory against Dani Yadin at SyFy 15 at 42 seconds. This guy has only fought for 42 seconds! His opponent Vladimir Shevchenko Fought two QFC bouts before making his SyFy debut but he lost in the third round by TKO. Milner's Breakdown: Shevchenko will have the better striking. Carneiro the better grappler. Both are on equal footing at wrestling. Welterweight Bout Johnny boy Morrissey (1-0) vs. Ulysses Klaw (1-0) These two fighters made their career and SyFy debuts at the same event WeInSyd 2. Morrissey won a unanimous decision victory that earned the fight of the night honors. His opponent Klaw won by TKO. Milner's Breakdown: Morrissey is a dominant boxer. Klaw has superior wrestling and a blue belt in BJJ. Klaw will most likely be able to control this fight if he has a solid chi. Ty Banks (2-2) vs. Johnny Johnsen (4-2) This will be Bank's third fight for SyFy. His debut match at SyFy 9 he won by unanimous decision and was awarded the fight of the night. Afterwards he lost against Scotty Toute at SyFy 22. His opponent Johnsen had his SyFy debut in his last match but lost via KO against Daughtrey. Milner's Breakdown: Bank's has a slight edge with his better striking and wrestling. Johnsen has a purple belt and will be able to control the ground game. Heavyweight Bout Billy Bobkins (2-1) vs. Yamil Villanueva (0-2) Billy Bobkins hasn't had a fight go pass the first round, win or lose. And all of his fights have ended standing up. Bobkins will be coming into this fight with a knockout victory over Trent Kluger. His opponent Villanueva hasn't even won a fight yet, and he's lost both of them by knocnout. Bantamweight Bout Karl Flix (1-1) vs. Massimo Damiani (0-1) Karl Flix lost his debut match by unanimous decision in an attempt to do better the next time, he beat Pedro Siracha at SyFy 12. He won via Unanimous decision and was awarded fight of the night honors. While his opponent Damiani hasn't had a chance to redeem himself from his MMA debut loss. Milner's Breakdown: Damiani is a well rounded fighter, so we'll rounded he is the superior fighter in all aspects . Damiani will be able to control this fight and possibly redeem his first loss.
