  1. TR6: BOAGRIUS VS PETERSON Main Card Preview by Buff Minion http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1578677419tokyo%20rebels%206.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14292497323689.gif http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27w22.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20120325031119synbeltnew.jpghttp://mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20191130155602TR.png HW Title Fight Main Event Orpheus "Big Guy" Boagrius (MMA 45-10; TR 1-0) vs. "Blessed" George Peterson (MMA 2-1; TR 1-1) Our third & final HW bout of the evening just happens to be our main event which is headlined by former top ranked KT fighter "Blessed" George Peterson & current Synchronicity & Tokyo Rebels Heavyweight champion, Orpheus "Big Guy" Boagrius! Peterson has a huge opportunity to skyrocket up the SHW MMA rankings as he has recently returned to the world of MMA after briefly dabbling in it over 5 years ago. Peterson is leaving behind a 13 year tenure in KT which saw him become ranked #1 in the world at SHW. Peterson earned his title shot with an epic comeback via a naaasty knee that separated the 741 lb behemoth Simon Udovich (MMA 9-10; TR 0-2) from consciousness. Even at 38 years-old, Orpheus"Big Guy" Boagrius is showing no signs of slowing down as he's been nothing but a dominant force for over two decades in the SHW division & is still ranked amongst the Top 5 SHW's in the world. As of late, Orpheus has been on a 4-year long, 9-fight winning streak & has taken out big names such as Rocket Bob Frankels, Diarmuid Curry, Kimbo Slice, & many more. In his last fight, Boagrius took on Top 10 Ranked Nicolas Muller (MMA 32-21-1; TR 1-1) of whom he brutalized in the clinch & finished in the mount for a savage TKO. This fight will undoubtedly be a kickboxing match in MMA gloves so the question is, who will get the KO? The SHW MMA legend Orpheus Boagrius or the KT Veteran George Peterson? http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/17/17b16.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14265111193270.jpg SHW Co-Main Event Samuel "Budo" Nti (MMA 24-6; TR Debut) vs. Jean Paul Garcon (MMA 33-15; TR Debut) Our 2nd Heavyweight fight & Co-Main event is between the former Budokai Fighting Federation SHW champ, Samuel "Budo" Nti, & the former MMA Helsinki & Claymore Elite Combat HW champ, Jean Paul Garcon! The Ghanaian brawler "Budo" got a late start in MMA at the age of 25 but boy has he made up for it. Nti has punched his way to 24 (T)KOs victories in just six years with 20 of them coming in the 1st round. The French MMA veteran Jean Paul Garcon is looking to achieve success in the twilight of his athletic career following his recent departure from Claymore Elite Combat, an organisation where he was once champion & spent 12 years at. This deadly Frenchman boasts power with both feet & hands and even has a pretty solid Guillotine in his arsenal. A fun little statistic, both fighters have 24 (T)KOs under their belt so expect dynamite. Will it be Samuel Nti's thin skin that betrays him? or will it be Jean Paul Garcon's questionable chin that'll be his undoing? HW Main Card Bout Nicolas "Bloody Slayer" Muller (MMA 32-21-1; TR 1-1) vs. Kenrick "The Beast" Nikil Jr (MMA 11-8; TR 2-0) Kicking off our first set of Heavyweight fights, we have former USFC HW & DUEL SHW champ, Nicolas "Bloody Slayer" vs. "The Beast" of Canton, OH: Kenrick Nikil Jr! "Bloody Slayer" is well known for his knockout prowess as he has finished 30 of his 32 fights via (T)KO. Unfortunately, Nicolas came up short when challenging for the Tokyo Rebels HW title against Boagrius. Since then he's rebounded nicely against Jack Bullet (MMA 13-7-1; TR 1-1) when he knocked him down with two big right hands before putting him out of his misery with a mean left hook in the 2nd round. "The Beast" is a talented wrestler turned Mixed Martial Artist from Ohio, a state known for its standout wrestlers. Though his career has had its ups & downs, Nikil is currently on a 3-fight win streak with his latest victory coming over MMA veteran William Volkov (MMA 21-3; TR 1-1) were we saw Nikil lock up a kimura that had Volkov screaming in pain as he tapped out. I have feeling that whoever picks up the W in this fight will be very close to a title shot. LHW Main Card Bout Wallace Cobb (MMA 13-4; TR 1-0) vs. Matt "The Notorious Gambler" Lethal (26-13-4; TR 1-0) It's Scotland versus the US of A in this LHW bout as the ferocious Wallace Cobb takes on former GAMMA Contenders champion, Matt "The Notorious Gambler" Lethal! The ever dangerous Wallace Cobb is riding high on a 8-fight win streak that spans over that last 8 years. His last opponent, Bo Teebs (MMA 16-17; TR 1-1), was knocked unconscious by a massive lead left hook from Wallace. Previous to his last couple fights, personal issues caused Cobb to take 3 years off & he is looking forward to making up for lost time. "The Notorious Gambler" has fought many a talented fighter throughout his storied 20-year career. However, Matt hasn't achieved much in the way of titles, something that has frustrated his fans & himself a like. Matt certainly made his intentions clear here at Tokyo Rebels last fight when he KO'ed Alejandro Scott (MMA 15-11; TR 0-1) with an uppercut from hell. With his skillset, he knows he has what it takes to achieve that elusive gold strap here at Tokyo Rebels. Will it be the rising Wallace Cobb or the crafty veteran in "The Notorious Gambler" who walks away the winner? WW Main Card Bout Gorgeous Bob (MMA 13-8; TR Debut) vs. "The Highlander" Robert Drummond (MMA 11-5-1; TR Debut) Opening our main card is a battle between Europeans as Finland's Gorgeous Bob & Scotland's "The Highlander" Robert Drummond collide! Gorgeous started his MMA career at the tender age of 16 & has shown the willingness to take a punch in order to give two back. Whether it be on the feet or on the ground, Bob is always looking to finish. Similar in style, "The Highlander" is a well rounded Mixed Martial Artist just like his opponent albeit a little bit more cautious as his last 5 fights have all ended via decision. Robert has proven though that when his opponent least expects it, he can turn it up & finish the fight. This is an intriguing match as both fighter's typical routes to victory are unlikely, Drummond has never been (T)KO'ed & Gorgeous Bob has never lost a decision.

  2. Might want to tell Humors to keep his multis out of the voting then(you know as well as I do he's just trolling/causing trouble like he does every year during the awards).

  4. It's all about energy. Notice 3 of your 5 total attempts on a TD was in the first minute of the fight. You where so far behind on energy at that point, that your fighter couldn't do a move. Never did find the one of the last 2 moves, but one was at the start of the last round when you recouped some energy on the round break.

  5. Camara you are a clown. If we had a "dumbass clown of the year award" I think you would take it unanimously (without the help of multis) ? And fartmma would win "biggest embarrassment of the game"

  6. That's exactly what it is, Pulse lived in the area longer than I expected, but got to the point where I was likely going to have to close up shop until Mike expanded the Tokyo Arena. The biggest problem in the middle ground is exactly what you said, you need both to have top talent agree to take less. And you need to constantly be recruiting to help churn your roster and keep enough guys hyped enough. I also think that Pride, Empyrean, and Inferno, while PPV level orgs, are essentially those middle ground orgs. If you look at my roster, I have, in most divisions, a few really good fighters at the top, and it's a constant battle to keep guys highly hyped enough to challenge them consistently. A lot of props to the other org owners though as "super fights" help alleviate this problem, and I have worked successfully with each and every org owner on that list to help each other out, and everyone else seems to be in it for the greater good rather than their own self interest as fighters get loaned in both directions very consistently.

  12. Great comments above and amazing work by the unrestricted orgs this past year. I also believe there has been a movement towards higher pay (on cases where the org could afford it) and managers being more generous with their money. I could at any given time ask / beg /borrow significant amounts of money from my contacts in order to take FARTMMA to the next level and they would give it without any thought. Whereas in the past we had noob fubd and VIP exchange at much lower rates than we have now (one of the few good thinks of this crazy inflation). Also a movement towards top talent going to help starting unrestricted orgs for low pay. This must continue into 2020 MAGA !

  13. Yeah, In reality, the super fight league has actually helped the mid tier orgs, because the second issue with keeping the best talent is to give them enough competition.

  14. Is this still available? Can I have?

  15. I think it has to do with the way the game is structured. To be a top level org, you need to "grind out" a period in the middle level, where your top level talent need to agree to be paid less OR, you need to accumulate enough funds to run some period in the loss before moving to PPV level, most orgs do not survive that period, hence we have the situation we have.

  16. Just like real life, the economy has led to the destruction of the middle-class and now there is only the elite and the low caste. You are right though, the level of high quality top orgs is fucking fantastic at the moment.

  17. Agreed, no wrong choices here. I don't remember a time when there were so many good options at the top for pretty much any level of fighter.

  19. Klaus Wolfman (3-5 MMA) https://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=323451 To John Brophy "Sorry old timer but I don't have much of a say in these things - you've had your time but unfortunately the powers that be have decided that I send you on your merry way - now if you can only wear your listening aid long enough to hear the phone ringing you can take the call from your manager and we can get this out of the way"

  21. Why? Opponent had much better skills and proper clinch sliders. OP's fighter gassed out just one minute after the fight started - "Ragasatria looks winded!" In clinch it is imperative to do close to 100% aggro, I am doing 100% in every fight but some players are setting somewhere around 90%. OP neither did that, neither had the needed skills for clinch - clinchwork and strength i suppose.

  39. Your fighter might also have low IQ, or low confidence - which basically means they dont fight back! Also, you can get dominated in the clinch easily by the other guy getting ahead on energy. This is a combo of slider settings and RNG. Clinch is a weird one, and you have to figure out (or discover by reading the forums) what works or doesnt work in the clinch in this game with control/aggression sliders and activity levels. And finally, as Gator said, there are a number of skill sets that you need to be high at, at least relatively, to have success in the clinch, including strength, wrestling, clinch, boxing and MT.

  42. To add to what Gator said you should be more aggressive if you want to take the fight to your opponent in the clinch, takedowns or strikes.
