  1. Howdy yall, With the noob fund no longer being in existence, I figured i'd start something new- a Noob Clothing fund. Starting now, any new managers can feel free to pm me, and I will hook them up with some shirts and shorts for their fighters. The last things noobs need to be doing is paying for clothes when they could be spending that money on training. In the future I will release an actual noob Clothing kit, but for now I will be giving away whatever I have readily available. Welcome to the game new managers! Good Vibes Only!

  2. Not trying to be Mentor's lawyer here but he definitely doesn deserve the tone and attitude from your part . Overpaying for QFC will be good for new players but will also create an inflation on nooby Org contracts. If QFC pays too good , none of the new players will choose to sign with an org but will keep farming qfc instead.. As a result ,this is going to lead to starter org bankrupcy or simply being forced to close shop cause they fail to attract new fighters with the ''crappy'' 400/400/400 that they can offer. A nooby org with zero hype cannot afford to pay more than 500/500/500 until they re at least 6-7 events in. How are you going to survive for 6-7 events in order to have the ability to outbid the QFC 1500/1500 contracts if you fail to recruit any ? Its simple mathematics . Now, concerning money . This is a Tycoon game that forces you to cooperate with other people in order to make money. I started a little more than a year ago ,had zero money and in order to counter that ,i contacted companies for sponsorships and joined an experienced and helpful alliance . Seeking help from veterans or joining a well established alliance is the best way to stay involved , improve yourself as manager and receive financial aid for your gym or fighters. Eight out of ten veterans out there will happily help a nooby that joins their aliance and seems to be active and smart.

  3. In my opinion, it would be a good idea to implement a high pay of something around 2k/2k for the first 3 QFC fights and a significantly lower pay if the fighter chooses not to sign with an org and keeps fighting in QFC . This would give a significant money boost to fighters managed by newbies but would also force them to choose an org of their ID range after their first 3 qfc fights. Its a good idea if you wanna avoid making qfc more lucrative (moneywise) compared to the contracts offered by a brand new org. Believe me , nooby org owners that dont have a suggar daddy to support them , cannot afford to pay more than 1k/1k per contract without going bankrupt .

  4. Everything was set properly, Mike confirmed it calculated only 5 of the 10 fights.

  5. Wall of text... Ending sentences with ellipsis... Random CAPITALIZED words. Does anyone else find that writing style a bit familiar ? Like exactly the same style as some other manager ?

  8. Just wanted to check what orgs are offering new fighters these days for a starting contract. I want to bump the pay for QFC but obviously don't want to undercut real orgs. Thanks.

  10. From fighter Ken Jiro "What a thrill to be on the mainlands again. My time on the islands was an adventure, one that I took full advantage of. What an honor for my first opponent here on the mainlands to be no other than "Timo Juti", the current champion! It may seem like a quick challenge, but he and I have history, don't we Juti! Jiro vs Juti 3! I still say you got lucky in our first bout, the judges can be bias, but it was a good fight. Last time I defended my belt against you, and sent you packing. Now, it's my turn to challenge, and it's my turn to once again show the world who the champ is!"

  13. In agreement with many of the thoughts on here already, the two primary QFC changes that are needed: Worldwide (not city based) - This is #1 change, often you have to wait for weeks if you are in one of the less popular cities: Amsterdam, Hilo, etc. More levels - Level 1 is fine, but Level 2 really needs to be separated out in different levels. I often see level 2 fights where the opponents are separated by more than 1000 skill pts! Maxed out 30 year-olds shouldn't be allowed to tee off on new creations and teenagers. QFC pay is a non-issue.

  14. +1 to this What Aylib explained above is exactly what happened at FARTMMA too and I only asked him to gain the minimum weight when he got the belts. Right now the game is a bit broken and the speed / cardio boost a fighter gets from being lighter trumps size/ strength. That’s all.

  16. This was my view as well. Overall it was a bad fight and although Romero sucked and was largely inactive, lets not make it out that Izzy was exactly killing it. He fought ultra conservative and was basically trying to get a points win. The last round he as basically avoiding contact because he felt he was ahead on the score.

  17. Pay younger fighters more in QFC. Pay older fighters less. Make it a 5 fight minimum or so. After 5 fights in QFC pay is less and less.

  18. I would suggest adding some additional point levels to QFC and making them worldwide not city specific. Reducing the hype gain and loss for QFC fights would also be a good idea I think.

  19. There are 2 problems here. New players have no network and it could take a while to get some contract. This means no money for supplements, gym, etc. Also, there is tier 1 (noobs) and tier 2 (hype hunting almost retired sharks). Dont think you should treat them the same way. But if you bump tier 1 and zero tier 2 income (wich I think is more logical), this could lead to can crusher managers flooding tier 1 with 25yo Also, I agree, qfc should not be such a great deal

  20. Chael Bisping: Alan Ragasatria #4 ranked bantamweight? More like #1 chicken shit, sign the contract if your a real man, or if you don't want me to knock your eyebrows off your head then turn it down so I can move onto someone else.

  21. I've started playing the game myself now I have more time, and I'm trying to do it from the perspective of a semi-new user... The main problem IMO is clearly the lack of public gyms. I have bumped the level of Cozad gyms as a stop gap and I'm training my own fighters in Cozads to see how it goes. Getting the physicals cap in place will help with speed of development. That's nearly done but I need to get the fight engine (and the whole site) over to the new version of php first. That's semi-terrifying to swap the whole site over, as it will probably break stuff. The fight engine needed a huge re-write, which I paid someone to do in December as it was above mine and my programmer's level of understanding. Anyway, I put that on the back burner to get these couple of updates out, before getting back at the boring behind the scenes stuff, which will make people think I'm not doing anything for like 6 weeks probably. In general, I also think more gains from fights will help, especially at a lower level. I also think the pay for QFCs needs to increase and the cost of public gyms does need to come down to keep the weekly cost lower. I would like to just give new managers some extra cash too by default but I don't want that exploited by people creating multis just for their cash, for e.g. clothing and nutrition products or joining gyms to not even train and just pay fees.

  22. A lot of people share the thought that underweight fighters have energy advantage over heavier, that's why most people see it fair for org to enforce the minimum weight limit for a weight class. I think it is cheap to be a 155 champion and weigh in at 142 lbs. That's in principle not even enough for 145. It's saying fuck you to those who abide by the common accepted rules. It's been a frequent complaint with Aylib's fighters for a long time, whether he does it intentionally or not. It's your org, you can choose if you see any value in actual weight classes. The rest is on the manager.

  24. With HFC up and rolling and doing very well at 350k, we have decided to launch HARDCORE 360k (16-20yo only) fight org. The HARDCORE 360k will be designed to farm the best of the best new 360k creations who are in it for the long haul. We will not be signing 21-25 year old created fighters as their development will simply fall behind too fast to be competitive and the purpose of this org is to groom fighters to move up into the HFC when developed. At every 10k fighter ID marks, this org will merge all fighters into HFC and start fresh with new development league. Fighters who raise to the top and can compete at the next level will be able to be promoted upon request or management decision. All start up contracts will be offered at 2500/2500/2500 and extensions will be adjusted based on performance and p4p ranking. If the fighter with ID 360000 signs, he will be offered a 20k signing bonus. Any fighter with ID 360001-360005 will receive a 10k signing bonus. Any fighter with ID 360006-360010 will receive a 5k signing bonus. All other fighters will receive the standard 2500 signing bonus. All weight classes will be recruiting. Mail me for further details.

  25. Hey bro, I started like that. Well, Instarted my own org, but I started at 334k. We're doing pretty good, right now.

  26. It really amazes me how no matter what is done people still find a reason to whine and complain. If you dont like it, leave end of story. However I would like to try and explain why I feel it is cheaper to do this so I will give you an example. Lets say I run a gym but I also want to run a clothing company. So I have 2 choices... find a manager who does not have a company and offer to buy his VIP for him in exchange for holding the company for me (Costs me 7 days of VIP per week for this company) OR I create a Multi account and I purchase VIP for it (still costs me 7 days if VIP per week). Now with the system implemented I can (and have) opened a clothing shop to go with my Gym and guess what, it only costs me 5 days of VIP. Anyways at the end of the day, Mike has given us what many had asked for, so stop complaining and get on with your Tycoon life, or walk away in protest. Your choice

  27. I don't really see the problem. I mean, we haven't had the ability to have a 2nd company slot, and now that we do we don't want to pay the extra for it? I don't really think it's that steep when you consider how this should reduce the amount of multi accounts and now you can choose to have a private gym along with your fight org, or laundry service. You just have to pay more VIP... it's up to you if you think it's worth the cost.. but honestly, we didn't have this ability before, so it's a luxury and usually, luxurious things are costly. I highly doubt Mike wanted to implement this so that 500 new companies pop up next week.

  28. I noticed this a few weeks ago myself and think that is an absolute shitty thing to do. Once again, managers who put the extra effort in to run a company get shot in the foot for doing so. Way to promote running companies! In case Mike did not realise it yet by now: THE COMPANIES, OWNED AND MANAGED BY THE PLAYERS, ARE A MAJOR PART OF THE GAME AND CONTRIBUTE MAJORLY TO THE GAME EXPERIENCE FOR ALL MANAGERS. STOP PUNISHING THOSE WHO PUT IN THE EXTRA WORK TO HELP BOOST YOUR GAME! Oooops, my caps lock- and 'bold' button jammed, or didn't they..?

  29. That is a good point, maybe remove pay for QFC on the Island.
    0 points
  30. Just don't make the QFC payment equal for non-island and Island QFC cause if you give 2k/2k for Island QFC, Island orgs will be screwed in the beginning
    0 points
  31. I would say the minimum is 1000/1500 or somewhere in that range. QFC should be not more than 1/3 of that. Frankly speaking i do not think bumping QFC makes any sense, in fact i would argue the income from QFC should be 0. If you want money, get a real job in a real org.

  32. We were just talking about Kemp in our alliance chat last night. What a specimen ! These recent pile one by some of the gutless big orgs have seriously considering giving my undivided attention, support and those of my army of fans to honourable orgs like Rebels and Inferno. I swear to Alla we will not be denied, more to cum !

  34. Among all the things that need to get done, playing around with physical cap's is by far not the priority. This is a debatable feature if anything else and not one that really improves. Any changes added need to be 100% either a clear un-debatable improvement (even if they are small ones) or improving the finances or adding more players.

  35. This is the type of thinking that keeps new players away! It took me almost a year to actually start talking to people and almost a year in a half before starting a gym. qfc should pay at least 500/500 to give newer players a chance to actually train there fighters... I HATE how all you managers try to do everything you can to keep new players away from the game, it's bigger than you and your want to be the best manager... A higher paying qfc will make sure more people stay, getting money at the beginning of the game is ridiculously hard, I still don't make ANYTHING, I only have money because of the VIP exchange, because the way the games economy is set up. Now get over yourself and try to think about new players for once. New players are getting fucked over, new accounts created and people only spending a week playing because of money issues. Also, as a new player you want to do stuff yourself, the last thing I wanted to do was ask somebody for help, it's nerve racking to message someone in a game that you have never played and ask them if you can write for them or book events for them with no experience... Your comment is so dumb, do you care about the game at all? the fact you or anybody thinks that's a good idea says A LOT about you guys.. WOW!!!
