If your wrestling is much better than his, it might be beneficial to go for top position. Guard bottom is a great spot if you just want to go sub-for-sub, but against a higher belt, that could be risky and he might just keep passing your guard. I was in a similar situation fairly recently, and I left stick position open, but leaned my sliders towards bottom position, which can work similarly(I think. I won, at least, hah.).

If anyone says it, it won't happen.

Eh. I really wanted the Chimaev v Costa fight. I think Usman suffers on that one and we just see two WW's at MW, not Chimaev being tested at MW by a true MW. Other fight, based on them both being rematches and the previous fights, Volk filling in might be better. Sudden change of opponent, and Volk is cutting less weight than usual. I think Volk has a surprisingly good chance to take that one considering their last fight.

I honestly am just not sure if it's regular for seasons to be missed. I was debating making a full grappler fighter for one, but I'm not sure how reliable the timetable is.

Speaking of inactivity, is the TWGC happening? Sorry I'm fresh back this year, but according to the schedule, wouldn't it have begun the 1st?
