  1. Lots of great writers, going for Alfred though.
  2. The unexpected Hussein last second KO win over Joosep has to be #1
  3. Chumuaknoi was 13-1 for the year, all fights were either super fights or title fights. Simply dominant.
  4. Mario won all 3 world titles of the major orgs in the same year. Was never done before.
  5. Joosep, i mean he beat Khan 2x in the same year plus his run was dominant.
  6. Went with Syn, had a dominant year.
  7. To me, it seemed towards the end that Islam stopped believing he could really beat Volk, so he was hanging onto the decision. I also agree that in a rematch, Volk most likely has the most chance to improve and make adjustments or at least he has the biggest potential to make adjustments. I mean what can Islam actually do in a rematch to improve? His strongest part (Grappling) wont suddenly get better, Volk already saw the best he can give, at most he can maybe hold position longer, but i cant see him getting a finish. Volk did not have any real issue on the stand up in terms of risking a KO/TKO loss, so i think if Volk can work on his stand up to push the pace and be more aggressive, his gas tank seemed to be in better condition towards the end, Islam was fading.
  8. Got to say, i was expecting Islam to totally dominate, i was wrong. Volkanovski showed a really good defensive game on the ground and was also capable of defending the takedown and get up. I also think that as the fight went on, Islam showed he was mentally weaker. Volk's most certainly had more fight in him and even though he did lose, if you was to put a bet on who was more likely to win via a finish it would be him. I am not sure Islam would want to do a rematch and most likely a rematch wont be on the table for a while, Volk's will need to defend his belt at least once before that happens. I also think this is not the best division for Volkanovski, he was seriously undersized in this fight.
  9. Leif vs Kilo is one of the greatest rivalries ever for sure.
  10. Papa Moosh Dambullah (330450) HOF Induction Managed by GAMMA Hall of Famer Bwang Jong Sr (91781). Had a 21-8-0 record in GAMMA and a 4-1 record in our GAMMA Contenders. Papa is a 3 time 185lbs champ with a total of 12 title fights in total. He is also the 2021 GAMMA fighter of the year and was voted the 185lbs game best fighter in 2021. He had several major wins during his dominating run, including wins over Shane Raffington, Anthony Falcone, Bill Newton, Husein Magomaevaboff, Roland Weudke among others. His 228 total points ranks him 17th all time in the GAMMA all time great list. He probably would of been much higher up this list if he had more volume, but after the retirement of Bwang, he got picked up by a new manager and his GAMMA run was short lived after that. This induction also means Bwang has 3 fighters in the HoF, he also moved up one spot in the all time GAMMA greatest manager list, currently in 7th and just 3 points below Grumpy Bastard (102643) who has 936 points.
  11. I agree with this point. I would not be against having training on Sunday though. In fact i do not fully understand why Sunday is not there, other than it does not fit esthetically on that one screen.
  12. Kilo Maluga, Leif had a very strong year, i think he is 2-2 vs Kilo
  13. Joe Exotic had an equally good run as Todd and those 2 wins over him are major deciding points.
  14. Mario Benedetti or Raate Road, both worthy candidates. I think Raate had the better run of results but Mario won the GAMMA and Syn titles, so it is a tough one. Raate did lose 2x to Roli Poli though. Mario avenged all his losses and had 2-1 vs Kebab, so i am going for Mario.
  15. Chamuaknoi Sitsongrit - Absolutely destroyed everyone all year. Only had one loss.
