Kenshi Zuko consider this your notice period. Roque Barretto may have got caught late on his last fight but make no mistake that won't be happening again, at B2L 43 he's coming to take your head off and send you to retirement, call the paramedics, call the mortician, call your momma because come May 20th you're going to sleep, the only question that remains is whether or not you wake up again.

Coming into this fight Nennings has the advantage in momentum since he is riding a 3 fight winning streak. While his opponent is coming off a KO head kick loss from Crushin. This time Washington is against another muay thai specialist. Will it be another KO for Washington or will we see him get KO'ed again with a kick. All the questions were answered when the fight was ended in an instant when Washington landed an uppercut from nowhere. Nennings tumbles backwards from, the powerful punch that he recieved. Washington then finishes him off with a flurry.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Colton Washington!

When I saw this fight I said If Sladkov was going to land a perfect punch to Rojo's jaw he will put on a great win. BUT! If Rojo lands a take down it will be bye bye limb for Sladkov. It was Rojo's day. He landed a takedown counter that transformed Rojo's dream into a nightmare. For a moment I thought Rojo was going to survive the ground game because he was defending well for almost a minute. It was going well until Rojo got a hold of Sladkov's arm. He cranked it until Sladkov was tapping like he was going to lose his arm. He almost did.

Winner via Submission (Armbar), Poncho Rojo!

CO-MAIN EVENT

Withers vs. Luxemburg

Looking at this two fighters we all know this is going to be a grappling match. What we didn't know was Luxemburg was going to do nothing. Luxemburg was going to try and defend in the ground. Maybe he was just going to try and switch the position and attack from there? We don't know but in the first round Withers was dominating Luxeburg with GnP. It was all Withers in the round. Luxemburg wasn't doing anything at all. I was surprised it went to the second round. In the second round Withers already was determined to finish the fight and he did. His second takedown went straight into mount. He immediately put on pressure and rocked Luxemburg before the 2 minute mark. Luxemburg survived a minute or so before Withers landed a bigshot on him. He was getting murdered until he tapped from the strikes.

Winner via Submission (Strikes), Luke Withers!

MAIN EVENT

York vs. Hand

For a guy who has almost no striking primary Hand is pretty good at avoiding strikes and landing takedowns. Most of round one and two was on the ground and dominated by dutch. I honestly thought that this fight was going to be his. He was repeatedly taking down York and putting him in his territory. He was grinding and GnP'ing his way to a victory. It was all about Dutch Hand in the fight until the 3rd round. York knockdowns Hand twice in the round. It was a chance for York and he didn't let it pass. In his second knockdown on Hand he lands a combination that gets Hand on his knees. He piles on the pressure that give the referee no choice but to stop the fight. What a great come back win for Nigel York!

Built 2 Last 39: Rise Against

I hope people aren't too bewildered by all these new and bigger venues compared to the cozy atmosphere of Wild Bob's. Our favorite organization is currently the primordial soup of fight talent, growing things with legs that are walking around fighting. We've got home grown talent mingling with fresh and foreign animals pushing each other to put on the best shows possible. Just look at the card we have coming up, not only do we have one of the org's favorite submission artists in "Steal Mill," we've got a lightweight title fight! So let's get a little savage and check what's coming up.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

265+ Tj Thomas versus Bubba "Big" Charles

We begin with former top contender TJ Thomas hoping he can keep the fight standing long enough to deal enough punishment to wipe away the bitterness of his last loss. Takedown phenom Bubba Charles hopes another ground and pound win against a name like Thomas would propel him to the top of the list. My prediction: Charles by TKO.

265+ Eric "Bobo" Correa versus Siggi "Sumo" Herrmann

Coming off probably the most boring win in MMA history, Eric Correa squares off against a stylistically similar Siggi Herrmann. Herrmann seemed a bit lost on his back in his latest TKO loss. Depending on how active "Bobo" is, "Sumo" could get finished or just hugged to a loss. My prediction: Correa by decision.

265 Kasim "Teddy Bear" Akande versus The "Bearded" Dos Equis Guy

One of these undefeateds will taste defeat but let's enjoy the process before we worry about that. The process will involve a superb grappler Kasim Akande trying to take down a violent striking dynamo in The Dos Equis Guy. He's yet to have his takedown defense tested, something "Teddy Bear" can definitely do. My prediction: Guy by TKO.

265 "The Flop" Tracy Ryan versus Roy Savage

The grappler and striker matchup, Tracy Ryan and his black belt will go to war against a brawler who brings his all win or lose, Roy Savage. The wild card is "The Flop's" ever improving stand up which could keep the fight standing longer than usual. He probably should press his luck though just like Savage shouldn't dabble on the ground either. My prediction: .

265 "Made Man" Avtomat Kalashnikov versus Kyle "Butcher" Buttler

My favorite fight of the night involves a talented fighter who keeps coming just a smidge short of being the champion trying to earn another shot against an up and comer striker. Avtomat may have lost to champion Nigel York but he's still a serious test for any heavyweight, even a kickboxing young gun like Kyle Buttler. My prediction: Buttler by decision.

185 Marcus "Furius" Camillus versus Maxim "Beast" Basi

Well-rounded but without real strengths, Maxim Basi will be facing a rather tough fight; because on paper, his opponent bests him in every category but the color of his jiu jitsu belt. He'll have but a puncher's chance against a monster like Marcus Camillus whose record is deceiving considering his two losses are to 6-0 Steve Partridge. My prediction: Camillus by TKO.

185 Decon Frost versus Fedor Obsut

Well you can say one thing about Fedor Obsut's fights, they're never long and boring. He either finishes or gets finished. He also likes to stand which is what his opponent Decon Frost enjoys as well. If the fight stays at range, it could be anyone's game; but if Obsut shows a solid clinch game, it could be another long night for Frost. My prediction: Frost by decision.

155 Travis Ramsey versus "The Conqueror" Bittor Xavier

Probably just as surprised as we were, Travis Ramsey demonstrated rare finishing power in his last fight against Asteroids Bombereem. He gets to see if it's for real or just a fluke against Bittor "The Conqueror" Xavier, a fighter who's been developing his standup but could easily finish any second once the fight hits the mat. My prediction: Xavier by submission.

Co-Main Event: 155lb Title Fight

155 Flavio "The Spanish Armada" Sandoval versus Dean "War Wolf" Monroe

New champion Flavio Sandoval looks to begin his new reign at lightweight against a familiar foe, Dean Monroe. It's hard to win more impressively than "The Spanish Armada" won against long time champion Max House. Not only did he finish him in the first round, he took him down and beat him at his own game with a nasty kimura. "War Wolf" handily beat Sandoval for three rounds in their first meeting, taking the fight to every area of MMA. He knows the ground game could potentially be dangerous and that they're both vastly different fighters as they meet a 2nd time. I expect a much closer fight that should go all five rounds. My prediction: Sandoval by decision.

Main Event

265 Stalin "Steal Mill" Starksson versus Greg "Minotaur" Minat

We will end this magnificent night of violence with the beautiful art of brazilian jiu jitsu. Stalin Starksson has yet to lose in his career and has reeled off six straight wins, four of them in B2L. The most impressive aspect of Starksson has not only been that he's finished all his fights by submission but in the sheer variety of his techniques. Case in point, he won his last fight with a rare knee bar. His opponent Greg Minat lost in his return to the org but that isn't really fair considering he faced a beast like The Dos Equis Guy. For a night, we can forget about any glaring striking deficiencies and instead get to see his ground skills. Skills he obviously has considering his four wins have come by a different submission each fight. My prediction: Starksson by submission.

Built 2 Last 40: Love Thy Opponent

Sunday may be God's day to some but for Built 2 Last, it's a fight day. One of the commandments of B2L? Love thy opponent. With your fists... feet, knees, and elbows. There will be plenty of love on display this coming Sunday when more of great MMA action goes down to show everyone the way to violent enlightenment. Fans are getting spoiled with the second title fight of the weekend. Chucky Little got his title back and already has to defend it against "Sunshine" Marcel Thuram. We've got more than just a title shot so keep reading guys.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

170 Jason "Bring It" Baltimore versus Luke "Die Hard" Downer

The name Luke hasn't been good to Jason Baltimore; his latest two losses have been to Luke Withers. Luke Downer is obviously a different person but hopes he can have the same result. If he can keep the fight a striking battle, it just might be. My prediction: Baltimore by decision.

205 Salvador "Big Shot" Cannon versus Pit "Rock" Bull

His revenge against Chucky Little short-lived, Pit Bull starts his path to continuing his rivalry with the current champion by facing Salvador Cannon. "Big Shot" started his B2L term on the right foot with a first round TKO win. A win against a contender like "Rock" would shake up the 205 division. My prediction: Bull by decision.

170 Jord "tha king" King versus Jorge "Trick Master" St Pierre

Jord King is an elite boxer that has yet to prove he's well-rounded enough to utilize his skills in MMA. Luckily, he faces an opponent just as one dimensional albeit in the opposite way. If he can do his damage before being taken down, he'll have himself an easy TKO win. My prediction: King by TKO.

170 Mark Groslouis versus "Awesome" Howard Schmidt

Muay Thai is Groslouis' strength but we've yet to see it manifested in his MMA career. Lucky for him, his next fight against Howard Schmidt should give him a chance. Will he finally perform to his striking potential or will Schmidt show he's the better striker?. My prediction: Schmidt by TKO.

185 Jeremy "The Hand of God" Powers versus Tabor "Boy Galis" Nok

Jeremy Powers is making his MMA debut; we don't know much but that he's a wonderful boxer. Tabor Nok better hope he can take him down or it'll be a repeat of his last fight, a vicious knockout in the first round. If he can bring him down, Nok has shown he can grapple his way to a win. My prediction: Powers by TKO.

205 Diego "The Decision Machine" Faustos versus "Lordi" Mahtava Emppe

"The Decision Machine" Faustos faces a fighter who could easily be called the the KO Machine, Mahtava Emppe. While Faustos hasn't been finished or finished in his long career, Emppe has finished six and been finished once. Since you know "Lordi" is involved, it can't possibly be a boring fight. My prediction: Emppe by TKO.

155 Adam "Snake" Silva versus "NO2" Asteroids Bombereem

From their nicknames alone, you can tell "Snake" and "NO2" will be involved in the classic grappler and striker match up. Both also lost their most recent matches in their areas of strength, Silva by armbar and Bombereem by TKO. Which of these fighters will get back on track?. My prediction: Silva by submission.

185 Eliseo "Rolando" Rodriguez versus "The Cobra Kid" Johnny LaRusso

An interesting middleweight bout, we get another grappler and striker fight as a build up to the main events. "Rolando" looks to add another type of submission win to his resume; every win has been by something different. "The Cobra Kid" has a massive striking advantage but has yet to finish an opponent despite that fact. My prediction: LaRusso by decision.

Co-Main Event

155 Marco "Brick Shithouse" Brickowski versus Connor Cozad

In a org tradition, a rising star in Marco Brickowsi welcomes a veteran newcomer to the B2L stage. If he can continue his streak of exciting finish wins against a respected and underrated fighter like Connor Cozad, he could be fighting a top contender or even the champion next. Connor Cozad is a true MMA fighter, well-rounded but with a strong grappling base as seen in his BJJ black belt and multiple submission wins. Marco as well as casual fans may underestimate him due to his recent streak of losses but they'd be mistaken to overlook him. My prediction: Cozad by submission.

Main Event: 205lb Title Fight

205 Chucky "Icecold" Little versus "Sunshine" Marcel Thuram

Regardless of the outcome, I bet Chucky Little is at least a little bit happy he didn't have to spend another training camp focusing on Pit Bull, as he's faced him three out of the last four fights. He starts his second reign as light heavyweight champion against Marcel Thuram, a veteran outside of B2L who's made quite the impact in his two fights since joining our org. The most interesting aspect of this match up is the fight could go into foreign territory for the champ. We haven't seen him on his back; Thuram could take him there. Considering all but two of his opponents have been finished in the first round, Little and his fans might be thinking it'll be more of the same. I have a feeling it's never gonna be that easy from now on. My prediction: Thuram by decision.

PRESENTS

WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1303781614riseagainst.jpg

(B2L) 39: Rise Against

Correa vs. Herrmann

Although the TOTT says Herrmann enjoys gardening on the weekends. His records says otherwise. He sure has KO power in his hands. His two wins comes via KO/TKO. In the fight I was surprised that he was going for clinch and takedowns. I guess he was afraid of Correa's power that he didn't want to exchange blows with him. Unfortunately Correa has great TDD and avoided getting clinched. He dictated where he wanted the fight will take place and he wants it standing. He landed series of blows before setting up an overhand right with a jab that puts out Herrmann. Herrmann was clearly out on his feet before the referee could stop the fight.

Winner via TKO (Punches), Eric Correa!

========================================================================================================================================================

I was actually surprised when Akande was getting the takedowns. I think everyone was counting Akande out from this fight. He actually pulled off something that 5 other guys failed to do and that is to get out of the first round against Dos Equis. Plus he made Dos Equis Guy nervous by taking him down constantly. If he pulled off one submission win I think Dos Equis' manager would be killing him. It was really a nerve racking first two rounds for Dos Equis. He was taken down constantly and that means submission attempts for Akande but when the 3rd round came. Dos Equis had enough of akande. He threw a monstrous overhand right that puts the lights out of Akande. He wasn't finish and threw more punches until the referee wrestles him to stop the fight. Great win for Dos Equis but we shouldn't count out Akande. He showed everyone that no one should underestimate him.

Winner via TKO (Punches), The Dos Equis Guy!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

Sandoval vs. Monroe

We all know every great man has their weakness. Caesar has his Cleopatra, Samson has his Delilah etc. In this case Sandoval has his Monroe. This is their second meeting and it was a WAR!! Both fighters came in with guns blazing. Giving every single ounce of strength in this fight. I guess the difference in these two fighters is just Monroe is just more versatile. I saw that Sandoval was just defending in the ground or maybe he just wants to Knock Monroe the hell out? Either way Monroe was winning the fight. If you were watching the fight you wouldn't know who will win. The fight was back and forth but in the end Monroe won. He was just more aggressive all through out the fight. Nice win by Monroe.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Dean Monroe!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

Starksson is a regular here in the highlights. Why you say? Starksson has been on a tear wreaking havoc in the heavyweight division. He has been a submission genius submitting anyone who stands against him.. In this fight it was a different story. He showed he can also make people sleep. He barely went for submissions and threw GnPs from about anywhere he could. In the 3rd round he surprised me with a powerful shot to the dome of Minat. That shot hurt him. Starksson then threw in more shots that finished Minat off. Starksson has some skills. DAMN!

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Stalin Starksson!

In the first few minutes of the fight LaRusso already was making a statement, that he wasn't letting this fight go all 15 minutes. He made it clear when he landed a powerful head kick that knocked down Rodriguez but Rodriguez wasn't letting LaRusso get a win that easily. He managed to survive the punishment LaRusso was dishing out. He survived another minute before receiving another powerful kick to the head that rocked him silly. I thought he was going to weather another storm before LaRusso unleashed a right hand that finishes Rodriguez off.

Winner via KO (Punch), Johnny LaRusso!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

I'm very impressed with Brickowski in this fight. He has defended well against a black belt on the ground. He was taken down multiple times in the fight and still manages to survive Cozad's sub attempts. It was a frightening fight for Brickowski since he was on the ground with a black belt. I thought when he got taken down he was done but as the fight went on he was slowing Cozad with his leg kicks. The damage was showing in the 2nd round when Cozad was already struggling to take Brickowski down. It was evident as the round went by when Brickowski with kicks and punches. In the 3rd Cozad was all done. He was definitely not effective enough to win the fight. Brickowski executed his gameplan perfectly winning via Unanimous Decision. He definitely has some great defensive grappling.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/8/8b8.jpg

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Marco Brickowski!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

This was a striking clinic by Little. Little was owning Thuram in the stand up. Anywhere the fight took Thuram just wasn't effective enough. Thuram was lucky he was blessed with a godly chin that won't let him get KO'ed easily. If he didn't have it this fight could've been over faster. Thuram was getting hammered in and out of the clinch. Little on the other hand wasn't even slowing down when he was making a mess out of Thuram face. Thuram showed some life when he got Little on the ground. I thought this was going to be a sub win for Thuram but he failed to get any submission off on the ground. It was his chance but he couldn't capitalize on it. It was the only whole in Little's game I could think of. It went all 5 rounds Thuram just couldn't get a submission from the ground and Little was just too much for him to handle in the stand up. In the end Little retained his title and gets another win in his record. Who could be the person that would dethrone Little from B2L's LHW championship? Little has been dominating everyone thrown at him.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Chucky Little!

Built 2 Last 41: Boyaashakah

With two great events last week, Built 2 Last has moved up to sixth in the always competitive Montreal fight scene. Well don't expect a drop off in quality on Wednesday night; some of our favorite fighters are squaring off. Some undefeated hype trains could be derailed or even gain more speed after the night is over. And hell, we've even got a gold belt to put around the waist of the best middleweight fighter in our org. I don't even know what it means but all this action makes me want to shout. Boyaashakah!

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

265 Benoit "La Loi" Giguere versus Kanu "Crazzy" Mitzucuik

Kanu Mitzucuik opens the night's action with his toughest test against veteran Benoit Giguere. The two are similar in that they like to stand and trade but also have tough bottom games. Whoever wins can make a case for a top tier opponent in their next fight. My prediction: Mitzucuik by decision.

265 James Austin versus "The Highlander" Angus McLoughlin

A pair of lethal heavyweight strikers will test each other's chins, and somebody has to go down! Much like the first match, I don't expect either Austin or McLoughlin to keep this anywhere but in the stand up game. Will James' experience hold out over the young Angus' enthusiasm? My prediction: McLouglin by TKO.

185 Han "Maple Leaf" Jambon versus Eyetake Yudaon

Two fighters out of the same camp have to put aside allegiances for the sake of their job. Loyalties aside, the two represent the typical striker (Jambon) versus grappler (Yudaon) match. Considering Han has knocked out his last two opponents, I give him the edge by momentum. My prediction: Jambon by KO.

185 Keijo "Ylimielinen" Sardiini versus "The Existentialist" Jean Paul Sartre

Sardiini is finding himself in a Little/Bull rivalry with Jose Oquendo. To get another shot at him and the title, he needs to fend off a stiff opponent in "The Existentialist." Sartre is a kickboxing technician with the only knock on him being a lack of finishing power. If he finishes "Ylimielinen," his stock will soar. My prediction: Sartre by decision.

155 "hands of pillow" Takanori Gomi versus Mickey Javier "The Falkon" Pantaleon

Hopefully after this event, Gomi can move on to coaching or any other job that won't require him taking the beatings and submissions he's endured since joining our org. Pantaleon just faced him; so unless he makes a massive mistake, he should have another easy win. My prediction: Pantaleon by TKO.

265+ Chris Cook versus Barack Lesnar

Twenty seconds was all it took to prove Chris Cook was for real. It'll be a personal victory for Barack Lesnar if he can make it past that. His career started off amazingly with a twelve fight win streak. Since then, he's stumbled quite a bit. A win against Cook could get him back on track. My prediction: Cook by TKO.

205 John "The Executioner" Burroughs versus Bret McCoy

Seemingly mirror images of each other, John Burroughs and Bret McCoy will battle to see who is the better version of the other. Both like to set up their takedowns with the stand up; both like to ground and pound and finish with subs. The fighter who establishes the pace early on and keeps his opponent off balance should be victorious. My prediction: Burroughs by decision.

155 Graham Goddard versus Michael "Nuclear" Jimenez

Black belt Graham Goddard is a scary match up for any fighter. For any striking deficiencies he may have, his ability to end the fight once the fight goes horizontal has allowed him to rack up five wins in six contests. He'll face Michael Jimenez, a great striker who's lost his mojo since losing a February title match. My prediction: Goddard by decision.

Co-Main Event

170 "Beast" Rabban Harkonnen versus "The Ultimate Weapon" Danilo Caparas

Sometimes, main events don't excite me as much as other fights on the card. Well tonight, I'm excited about our main events. In the co-main event, a B2L newcomer with a ton of hype comes to face one of the promising youngsters in the welterweight division. "Beast" Rabban Harkonnen likes to strike. He's shown an ability to finish but also win the tougher battles by decision. The first "weapon" of the night, "The Ultimate Weapon" Danilo Caparas has dispatched his four opponents with lethal precision. Aside from the talent level, the styles of these two fighters mean we're going to see fisticuffs. Will the newcomer deflate the young man's hype or will the young man prove he's for real? My prediction: Caparas by TKO.

Main Event: 185lb Title Fight

185 "The Secret Weapon" Jose Oquendo versus "The Undefeated Gaul" Gaule Crixius

How do you beat the last fight? Have a title fight and have two unstoppable forces collide. Once the dust settles, we'll know who the best middleweight fighter of the world is. Currently, that man is "The Secret Weapon" Jose Oquendo. He won the belt decisively by finishing Keijo Sardiini with the help of his kickboxing skills. I'd mention that's with a heavy emphasis on "kick," as he's won six fights by head kick. He'll get to test that violent formula against a fighter that can be just as devastating, only with his fists. Every time I talk about him, I wonder what he'll do about his nickname if he ever loses. He hasn't had to worry about it so far. He just might have to worry about it after Wednesday night because it's his toughest test yet. My prediction: Oquendo by TKO.

Built 2 Last 42: Yellow Brick Stone

As of this preview's writing, Built 2 Last rocketed up to fourth in Montreal on the strength of last night's amazing event. Tonight's card may not have the same big names and sterling records but sometimes records don't represent how exciting fighters actually are. And while you might be tempted to overlook this event, you'd be making a huge mistake because I bet people would pay just to see Thursday night's main events, a great welterweight match up involving an Olympic gold medalist and more gold in the main event, a title fight for the title of baddest super heavyweight on the planet.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

265+ "The Killer Wombat" Jorge Murphy versus Ronnie Coleman

After a title shot, all Coleman has to show for it is some failed takedowns and a KO loss. He'll try to wash away the disappointment with the blood and tears of Jorge Murphy. "The Killer Wombat" knows the agony of being taken down as that's how he lost recently. Hopefully he's been working on his grappling. My prediction: Coleman by submission.

155 Jimmy "The Gent" Conway versus Bo Bowski

I know it's hard to justify picking "The Gent" to win this fight considering he's lost five straight but experience has to pay off at some point. Right? Striking and experience is what he has over Bo Bowski, an MMA newcomer who's still very raw and unsure of his fight style. My prediction: Conway by decision.

155 "Kill Shot" Clarence Parish versus "The Canadian Kid" Joey Popham

Clarence Parish's nickname is rather fitting as he seems to have one round of ammunition for every fight he enters. If it hits, it can be exciting like his spinning backfist KO. Once it misses, he loses by frustrating decision. If Joey Popham can survive the initial onslaught, he may be surprised how easily he takes down and finishes his opponent. My prediction: Parish by TKO.

185 Alfonso "Minotoro" Dilorenzo versus Johnny Bravo

Dangerous at both levels, "Minotoro" Dilorenzo can strike standing and sub sitting. It'll be the key to victory by keeping Johnny Bravo off balance. If Bravo's able to keep it a pure striking bout, Dilorenzo's odds will dwindle. My prediction: Dilorenzo by decision.

205 Josh "Braker" Bernardes versus Rich "Hands of Stone" Thorburn

Josh Bernardes starting so promisingly with three impressive submission victories. Since then he's lost three, one even by submission. His chances don't get much easier against another down on his luck fighter Rich Thorburn. Whoever can take the fight into their strength could resurrect their career. My prediction: Thorburn by TKO.

205 Gino "Bri" To versus Phace "Twinkletoes" Schmascher

The grappler and striker matchup, neither Gino To or Phace Schmascher has shown any offensive potential. To can wrestle; Schmascher can strike. But until they learn to end fights, these skills won't take them far on their own. My prediction: To by decision.

205 Ma Chao versus Charlie Wax

Two back to back knockout wins can cover up the shoddiness of a 8-6 record. Ma will look for a third one against Charlie Wax, an opponent he's beat once before. Wax has lost three in a row and hasn't shown any evidence that the second meeting won't end like the first. My prediction: Chao by decision.

265 Johnny "Joe Bine" Walker versus Mike "Ware" Woolfe

Just as we were about to write "Joe Bine" off after two straight losses, he responded with a KO win. He'll get to show if he's for real against Mike Woolfe, a fighter who's won by submission twice with only a blue belt. Break out your lucky coin for the flip. My prediction: Woolfe by submission.

Co-Main Event

170 Nicholas Bosse versus "Olympian gold medalist" Remy Garmin

Two decisive losses by Remy Garmin had me wondering if he should go back to training for the next Olympics. Well he turned it around with three straight wins since then and has impressed me and probably the org matchmaker as well. He gets the privilege of welcoming a 5-0 newcomer from the local World Fighting Championshi, Nicholas Bosse. A striker with strong kicks, Bosse poses a stiff test for Garmin's still rather mediocre stand up game. If Garmin can't take his opponent down, he doesn't stand much of a chance to continuing his new found momentum up the welterweight division. I'm sure Bosse is raring to take his spot. My prediction: Bosse by TKO.

Main Event: 265+lb Title Fight

265+ "The Nigerian Nightmare" Emeka Shakur versus Billy "Bully" Bouraka

"The Nigerian Nightmare" is building himself a nice little dynasty now that he's defended his title twice, both rather easily by first round TKO and KO. His latest victim Ronnie Coleman shares some similarities with his next opponent Billy Bouraka. A time-tested veteran, "Bully" comes most recently from the Ontario Fight Club. He likes to take his opponents down to pound and submit them. Most fans are still questioning how Shakur works off his back, especially against a solid grappler. Coleman failed but Bouraka has stepped up to the challenge. It'll be hard to bet against the champion here but as we all know in this sport, anything can happen. My prediction: Shakur by TKO.

Giguere vs. Mitzucuik

This fight is should be called the battle of the twins. They look so much like each other. It's like fighting yourself in the mirror. The only difference is their skill level. Mitzucuik is like Giguere in steroids. His boxing is a buffed version of Giguere's. The only problem here is that Giguere has been in trouble when he's against strikers. He has been 4 times in his career. This fight wasn't any different. Mitzucuik really made use of his fists here. He drops Giguere with a powerful uppercut, He then finishes him off with a powerful combination that puts the lights out on Mitzucuik. Maybe he really needs to train his striking d or he'll be looking at multiple KO losses.

Winner via KO (Punches), Kanu Mitzucuik!

Sartre is definitely a traditional muay thai artist. He is dangerous inside and outside the clinch. If you go to the clinch with him you'll get mauled with elbows and knees and if you strike at a distance you'll eat with kicks. Sardiini definitely found that out when he went against him in this match. Sarte was throwing devastating kicks at him. It was a very bloody fight. In the first round Sardiini was already bleeding very badly from the strikes Sarte was throwing. It all started when he got hit by multiple elbows in the clinch from Sarte. Sardiini manages to escape the clinch but gets tag with a couple of shots that made his cut even worse. He was actually lucky to survive the 1st round without the doctor stoppage. In the second round it was much the same. But when Sarte got Sardiini in the clinch again he lands another powerful elbow that worsen Sardiini's cut. The doctor then stops the fight. Great win for Sarte.

Winner via TKO (Cut), Jean Paul Sarte!

CO-MAIN EVENT

Harkonnen vs. Caparas

Harkonnen looks to bounce back from his previous loss from Kuure. After winning 8 straight he wants to get back to winning his groove here in B2L. But there is a BIG challenge in front of him. That is Caparas. Caparas has finished all of his fights in his career. The only one that went to the 2nd round was his debut fight against Huerta. We all know this fight isn't going to go to the ground. Early in the fight both fighters where swinging wildly. Harkonnen definitely was looking to wear down Caparas throwing body shot after body shot. But Caparas wont be needing energy in this fight. He knocks down and wobbles Harkonnen with a head kick. Caparas then puts on the pressure throwing everything at Harkonnen but Harkonnen was defending well. I thought Harkonnen was going to survive the storm but Caparas scores a massive shot that finishes Harkonnen off. I guess Harkonnen needs to wait a little longer to get to the winning groove again.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Danilo Caparas!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

Since getting TKO'ed by Sardiini Oquendo has been killing everybody who's thrown at him in the cage. He's like a hungry beast looking to feed on anyone who's in front of him. If Oquendo's a beast Crixius' isn't like anyone he has ever fought. He has won all of his fights and 4 of his fights come from KO/TKO. Both fighters have deadly striking and we know no one's going to back off. Both fighters were swinging at each other wildly. Each other looking to decapitate each other with strikes. I was just waiting who's going to land the first strike that would buckle their opponent's knee. It was all going well for Crixius until Oquendo lands a headkick that almost took off Crixius head. Oquendo wasn't satisfied with his bloodied foe and unleashes another powerful head kick that crumples Crixius. Oquendo lands more shots that forced the referee stoppage. Oquendo adds another win to his record and successfully defends his belt.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Jose Oquendo!

Since we don't have any event poster it would be unfair for the guys in the highlight if their write up would be "lifeless" so i provided a great poster for the event. Hope you guys like it.

:P

I heard it's a really tough time there in the U.S. Everybody's getting hit with the recession. Even Johnny Bravo ventured into MMA in order to have a job. It has been a rocky road for him REALLY getting punched in the face in his past bouts resulting to a KO/TKO loss but here he is in B2L after winning 2 straight in SFO. He'll be going against a versatile fighter in Dilorenzo. Dilorenzo has gotten back to his roots by submitting fighters. His debut fight was a TKO win over Trevor Gratis. This fight wasn't any different. I guess Bravo isn't used to getting beaten up by guys. Dilorenzo barely broke a sweat when they went to the ground. Bravo tried to control his opponent and use some LnP on Dilorenzo. Dilorenzo was really active getting submissions but when he got Bravo on an armbar he knew it was the end of the fight. Dilorenzo cranked the armbar and made Bravo tap.

Winner via Submission (Armbar), Alfonso Dilorenzo!

CO-MAIN EVENT

We all know that if you're a ground fighter it's mandatory to have great defensive grappling. That's Garmin's problem. When he took Bosse down he was in great position to win the fight because we all know he wouldn't stand a chance against Bosse standing up. Garmin was in the dominant position until Bosse got a sweep and got the top position. As soon as he got the top position he stood up and ran away from the ground fight. When it was striking fight. Bosse unleashed massive amounts of kicks. Garmin then had trouble getting a takedown and was already gassed. Bosse then tags Garmin with a short punch that hurt him. Garmin then does what every trainer says when fighting. NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON YOUR OPPONENT. Bosse then punishes Garmin with more strikes that made the referee stop the fight.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Nicholas Garmin!

MAIN EVENT

Shakur vs. Bouraka

Shakur is a regular here in the highlights since he has a perfect 100% KO rate. ALL YES I REPEAT ALL OF HIS FIGHTS COME FROM KO/TKO. It' either KO or be KO'ed for Shakur. It's this kind of fighters that brings fear to their opponents. Bouraka isn't the kind of fighter that is easily intimidated. Bouraka was really going at Shakur in this bout. Shakur was really aggressive against Bouraka. Bouraka was very effective countering with punch combos. I really thought Bouraka was getting an upset with those combinations landing. But Bouraka showed he has world class chin. After scoring with straight right he followed it up with a powerful combination that floors him. He then recieved more punches and was finished off by Shakur. Shakur retains his belt and maintains his 100% KO win.

Built 2 Last 43: Link's Battle Royale

I may have jinxed our org a little by tooting the horn about our rankings. If anything, it goes to show how competitive the Montreal fight scene is. Our fans know B2L events will consistently bring the excitement regardless of names although we have plenty of those! There's a little edge to Friday's event as Roque Barretto has been talking a bit of smack to his opponent. Since they're involved in the main event, there'll be no hiding whether he can back up his words. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and make sure to check out everyone else on the card.

All fights will take place in a cage and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

265 Kenyon "The Shooting" Star versus Camillo "The Prankster" Starksson

Kenyon Star typically likes to win his fights by controlling people on the ground. It'll be a quick night for him if he uses that strategy against Camillo Starksson. Like Stalin, he's great on the ground with the proof coming with all his wins coming by submission. My prediction: Starksson by submission.

205 Joseph Goebbels versus Zakhar "Origin" Feofan

Two new lightweights hoping to start their B2L runs on the right foot, Joseph Goebbels and Zakhar Feofen like to take the fight to the mat. Geobbels is more of a jits guy as seen in his brown belt. Feofan can wrestle, although he hasn't shown any significant offensive capabilities. My prediction: Goebbels by submission.

170 steven "bull dog" sarai versus Alan "T-Bone" Ringseal

I'm sure "bull dog" hopes a nice fat "T-Bone" will fall to the mat to be gobbled up in a submission. Ringseal may like to fight on the ground as well but he'd be better off utilizing his striking advantage over his opponent to get himself a much needed win. My prediction: sarai by submission.

170 Jaxon Hinges versus Charly "Max B" Wingate

Jaxon Hinges seemed to enjoy his new environment as it allowed him to snap a five fight win streak with a decision win over Fabhio Huerta. He'll hope to start a win streak against "Max B" who will be outmached on the feet but could even the playing field with a takedown or two. My prediction: Wingate by decision.

170 Guillaume "Speedy" Steckels versus Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter VIII

"Speedy" Steckels' debut didn't go as he liked but he gets a chance to redeem himself against "The Cannibal." Hannibal's record may be unassuming but he's fought some serious B2L names during his current stint. A win here may push him into the top half of the welterweight ladder. My prediction: Lecter VIII by decision.

170 Rovan Turner versus Charlisson "Charizard" Rousseff

Well if you like knockouts, you should probably keep an eye out for this fight. Both Turner and Rousseff are coming off TKO wins; "Charizard" especially has a habit for TKO/KO finishes. Turner may have an advantage though by being a more well-rounded striker. My prediction: Turner by decision.

155 PierreLuc Beaulieu versus Rico Olivarez

A grudge match of a fight that happened less than a month ago, PierreLuc Beauliu hopes the second time won't go as badly as the first. Rico Olivarez doesn't have much beyond grappling skills so he'll need to replicate the strategy and outcome of the last submission win. He's probably not all that worried either. My prediction: Olivarez by submission.

265 Michal "Złamas" Nielamliwy versus George "Iceman" Chambers

A boxer trying his hand at MMA, George Chambers probably figures he's in the wrong business. Of course, any one punch can win a fight but "Złamas'" experience should let him stick around long enough to get the fight down for an easy sub. My prediction: Nielamliwy by submission.

Co-Main Event

265 "The Hook" Reggie Haidar versus Amare "Junk Punch" Nash

B2L fans have anticipated the arrival of "The Hook," and the time has come. It's easy to overlook a few negatives (a NC, quick submission loss) when the positive is eight wins by TKO/KO. We're hoping he brings that same violent finishing power to fights under our org banner. He'll face another newcomer, Amare "Junk Punch" Nash. Nash's resume may be a bit inconsistent but Haidar would be wrong to dismiss him as a pushover. He's an equal on paper at least at every stage with an advantage in Muay Thai. A few leg kicks could easily have Amare Nash stealing Reggie Haidar's thunder. My prediction: Haidar by TKO.

Main Event

170 "The Paraguayan Lion" Roque Barretto versus Kenshi "Ground Zero" Zuko

"The Paraguayan Lion" lost in his organizational debut but let's hold our horses before we write him off. He at least seems confident the last fight was a fluke as he's suggested in a recent press release that a finish will be imminent. Considering his record, I'm willing to trust him a little bit. Hopefully he's taking the fight seriously though because Kenshi Zuko isn't exactly a joke either at 6-2. He surprised most fans by winning by first round KO in his last fight. His strength is on the ground but his last fight is evidence his training has been expanding. Despite that, he'll be playing with fire if he wants to keep the fight standing the whole way through. It certainly would make the fight interesting though! My prediction: Barretto by TKO.

Built 2 Last 44: KTFO Suckah

Heads will roll Saturday night as the B2L matchmaker has gathered all the ingredients for another explosive night of MMA action. A healthy mix of grappler versus striker matches combined thoroughly with well-rounded contenders should provide a balanced meal to satiate a fight fan's hunger. From an organizational perspective, the aftermath should provide messageboard analysts some structure to perhaps top contenders or almost top contenders. And even though a title isn't on the line, every B2L fan is probably just as excited to see if Lu Bu will continue to dismantle his opponents in the first round or if he's actually met his match in Junior De Gonzales. Let's dig in.

All fights will take place in a cage and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

185 Eyetook Yudaon versus "Yes" Imma Truth

We begin our Saturday event with the standard grappler and striker bout. As you can tell from his name, Eyetook Yudaon is a wrestler with developing submission skills. Imma Truth has shown an ability to finish in the striking game but only when his opponent actually lets him strike. My prediction: Yudaon by decision.

185 Ironman "Killer" Gab versus Vincent "Adamantium" Lontrame

A fighter who is most likely retiring after this event, Ironman Gab will look to go out on top against scrappy veteran Vincent Lontrame. Lontrame prides himself in never being knocked out although that trait hasn't really led to any real success in MMA. My prediction: Lontrame by decision.

185 "The Physical Monster" Scott Jones versus Jacques Gillette

Hopefully Jacques Gillette took this next bout as a show of improved takedown defense. Otherwise, he's asking to lose because he's struggled with ground fighters. If Scott Jones first fight is any indication, he's a ground fighter too which will probably lead to a successful debut. My prediction: Jones by submission.

205 Sergio "The Guerilla" Melo versus "Ugly" Joe Lambert

Sergio Melo drew a tough fight for his professional debut against Joe Lambert. Lambert is a decent striker who's been struggling with his takedown defense. While we never know until the cage door closes, Melo seems to be a kickboxer although I'm sure that purple belt isn't just for show. My prediction: Melo by TKO.

185 Oleg Vladinascov versus Derek Mufflin

Oleg is a ground and pounder showing his face for the first time to B2L fans. He faces another ground fighter Derek Mufflin, who holds a BJJ brown belt. But like a lot of pure BJJ practitioners, his wrestling might not be up to MMA standards to control the fight on the ground. My prediction: Vladinascov by decision.

265+ Gabriel Munez versus "The Tower" Tra Falgar

"The Tower" is probably riding high after a redemptive TKO win over Chris Murney. When he's on his game, his reach and boxing can cause fits. We'll get a chance to see if he can do it again versus a fighter who didn't get to show much in his debut loss by KO. Can Munez show off his skills in his second shot? My prediction: Falgar by TKO.

185 Timber Lake versus Fabrice Prince

If I was a betting man and had to guess which fight had the best odds for fireworks ending in a KO, I'd put my dollar bill squarely on this one. Both are boxers that like to swing away and it shows in the results. Prince's chin has been suspect despite impressive boxing skills. We'll see if it'll hold up against Lake. My prediction: Lake by TKO.

265+ Ricardo Brown versus "Big" John MacCarthy

Two 2-0 super heavyweights will collide and one of them is coming out with their first blemish. Along with their records, they're both remarkably similar fighters. Boxing bases on the feet, they also like to take the fight to the mat for ground and pound. Whoever has the better takedown defense will probably win this one. My prediction: MacCarthy by decision.

Co-Main Event

170 Dean Perry versus "El Fitcho" Cosas Muy Malas

Fresh off his second loss to champion Beautiful Boxer, Dean Perry will begin his trek to another title shot by facing "El Fitcho." While one could easily dismiss Perry's credentials because of the Beautiful Boxer-shaped monkey on his back, one should remember he's won every fight aside from his fights against the reigning champ. Before his last match, Cosas Muy Malas was probably more famous for the fact of having never been involved in a finish winner or loser despite eight professional fights. He snapped that streak as well as a two fight loss streak by kimura-ing Roque Barretto. Both competent at every stage of the game, another win (especially a finish) in the co-main event could add a new and intriguing name to the welterweight picture. My prediction: Malas by decision.

Main Event

185 Lu Bu versus Junior De Gonzales

Saturday's main event will be a rematch between Lu Bu and Junior De Gonzales. While most of the night's fights will take place on the mat or at range, the final fight should take place primarily in the clinch. If it goes like the last meeting between them, it won't take long for someone to crumple from heavy dirty boxing. A beast on the feet, Lu's fists have enabled him to roll to seven wins all by first round TKO. His only loss highlights a glaring hole in his game although it's one we shouldn't see being exploited too much by an equally grappling averse De Gonzales. If Junior can implement a controlled kickboxing attack, he may be able to weather the early onslaught from Bu. If not, he'll be groggily trying to answer the questions of the ring side physician once again. My prediction: Bu by TKO.

Interview for Junior De Gonzalez

Interviewer: Hello folks, I am sitting here today with B2L 185 standout Junior De Gonzales and his manager Kenneth Stevens. We're here to talk about the headline fight for B2L 44, rematch between JDG and the man who beat him Lu Bu. Junior, first off what are you thoughts on how your first encounter went down and how you dealt with that moving forward?

Junior: I have been in martial arts all my life and i've always been extremely competive and hungry so losing like that hurt me a lot mentally. I felt like with all the tools I have in the clinch that I would overwhelm him but he showed just how dangerous he is there. I hate losing and losing at my own game hurt even worse but I am nowhere near the same fighter in any aspect of my game than I was in that fight. That loss has driven me even more to become the best martial artist I possibly can.

Interviewer: I see, I have to say sitting across from you right now I can see the determination in your eyes, now Kenneth, you do the game planning for all your fighters as well as overseeing every aspect of their training, what is the game plan coming into this fight

Stevens: Well, everyone knows JDG is a beast in the clinch and loves to grind fighters out and take away their souls. Bu however is a very explosive fighter no matter what position you are in and taking him into the clinch or allowing him to clinch with you is very dangerous no matter how good you are. I don't want to give away too much but you have to control the pace with this guy or you are going to get knocked out. Junior is excellent in all aspects of stand up and we need to utilize all of it.

Interviewer: Every single one of Bu's wins have come by knock out in the first round. Do you expect this to be the same gameplan for him coming in?

Junior: It's worked for him so far, he's got tons of power and is very explosive but I'd like to see how he does in the later rounds. I'm going to test him and see what's really in his soul. I'm a much better fighter now and I'm not afaid of his hands.

Interviewer: Now this is the first time you are headling an event? Are you feeling the pressure of being in a main event fight?

Junior: Not really, I'm a professional martial artist when I step into that cage the only thing on my mind in my opponent everything fades to silence.

Interviewer: There is a lot of rumors about the winner of this fight getting a title shot, how do you feel about getting that opportunity and what do you think of the current champion.

Junior: If there's been talk I certainly haven't been involved but knows, this is a huge fight and we are both top contenders so why shouldn't the winner get a shot at the title? But that's up to B2L my job is train and fight the rest will fall into place. I know I am a better fighter than the champion so when the time comes and management calls, I'll take him out.

Dean Perry Interview

B2L Interviewer: Built 2 Last here with WW contender, Dean Perry as he gets set to take on Cosas Muy Malas @ B2L44. Dean, how you feeling?

DP: I feel good, I'm in great shape. I'm ready for saturday night.

B2L Interviewer: Now, you're going up against a tough opponent in Cosas Muy Malas. What can you tell us about him as a fighter & what you expect on the 21st.

DP: Cosas Muy Malas is weak & has no heart. He's a bottom-of-the-barrel scumbag that has no business in the ring with me *kidding*. No, I have much respect for Cosas, he's a great fighter who knows how to win fights. Most people don't know him outside of B2L but he's a credible opponent. He's a top guy in the division & definitely a tough task for anyone to handle.

As far as what I expect from him? I expect his best. I'll never underestimate anyone at this level. The moment you underestimate someone or think you're too good to be beaten, you've already set yourself several steps behind the group. I'm not particularly worried about what he's going to do; I respect where he's at in his game so whatever he gives me, I'll take it & return fire.

B2L Interviewer: Can you tell us what you've done to prepare for Cosas?

DP: Without going into too much detail, we pretty much worked all areas. Cosas is a well rounded fighter so that's what we prepared for. I can't predict what he's going to do out there, all I need to do is fight my fight. I'm always trying to surround myself with the best trainers, coaches, & fighters. I believe in my team. The improvemets we've made shows in training so I know what they teach works.

B2L Interviewer: Now, your training partners Kent Miles & Winston of Hilo have fights coming up soon. Have you had the opportunity to train with them recently?

DP: I have actually. Those two guys are beasts, theyre improving every single day. I was there when Winston won the title, so I'm proud of him. Kent is making great strides in his training as well. Both of those guys will be hard to beat.

B2L Interviewer: Alright, million-dollar question...what's your prediction saturday night??

DP: Ha, I never make predictions, you know that! We'll see what happens, we'll see...

B2L Interviewer: Ok ok, I won't put you on the spot anymore. Thanks so much for the time, I wish you good luck saturday night.

DP: Thanks man, I appreciate it!

(B2L) 43: Link's Battle Royale

Sarai vs. Ringseal

We know these two guys will go to the ground. The only game breaker is who will be in the dominant position. Ringseal has a slight advantage against sarai in the standup but he didn't use that instead he used his advantage in the wrestling department. He was constantly taking down his opponent and smashing his face into pulp. Although Ringseal was the dominant position he was taking a huge risk by going on the ground against Sarai. Sarai has 4 subs in his belt that's why he is no joke on the ground. It was a very heated fight where Sarai was getting mauled by Ringseal with strikes and submissions. In the end Sarai couldn't succeed in getting a surprise submission against Ringseal. Ringseal just did a great job defending the submissions Sarai was throwing at him.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Alan Ringseal!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

Haidar vs. Nash

We all know that when two guys with this much of KO power go against each other it will be an exciting fight. Haidar has 8 KO's in his belt most of them in the first round and Nash has 3 KO's in his 4 wins. We will definitely see a boxing match in this one as both fighters strong points are in boxing. Both fighters were swinging at the very first round. Early on Haidar was cut by a crisp hook by Nash. But after being cut Haidar put on the pressure and was punishing Nash with powerful punches. He was repeatedly knocking down Nash with his punches but in the 2 minute mark of the fight Haidar set up a picture perfect hook by a crisp jab that put the lights out on Nash. Haidar made clear that Nash was clearly an inferior striker than him.

Winner via KO (Punches), Reggie Haidar!

MAIN EVENT

I thought this fight was going either way. If Zuko could get this fight on the ground it was his fight to win but if Barretto could keep this fight standing it could be a KO/TKO since he has some KO power in his hands. Much to our surprise the fight got to the 3rd round. It was all Barretto. Barretto was stuffing Zuko's attempt to bring the fight to the ground. He was puting a striker's clinic. Barretto out struck Zuko with accurate shots. Zuko just couldn't go against Zuko's great stand up skills. He was kicking and punching Zuko till Zuko goes out or taps out from the beating he was taking but Zuko was a tough nut to crack. He never gave up even though he was getting beat up by Barretto. He showed tremendous heart and great chin in the fight. A great way to bounce back from a loss by Barretto!

Given that Prince has had some trouble with strikers it was a very tough match for him. His opponent has been putting everybody to sleep. Since his first loss in the QFC, he has turned his career upside down by putting out fighters in the first round. It was a KO waiting to happen and Lake didn't disappoint. He was determined to put Prince out early. He was throwing combinations at him looking to knock him out. Well, he did. He tags him with a powerful overhand right that stumbles Prince then he punishes prince with powerful shots that ends the fight with an exclamation mark. Another KO win in Lake's record. This one is his fastest in just 38 seconds.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Timber Lake!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

This was a surprising event. Perry has a granite chin and he has some great jits and boxing. Muy Malas in the other hand hasn't KO'ed anyone since his first match in the QFC's. The fight was kept at the ground by Muy Malas he was pouring shots after shots on Perry. Perry was trying to get a submission on Muy Malas but he was just too good to get subbed that easily. It was a very hard day for Perry he was getting hammered on the ground repeatedly. Although Perry has granite chin. It doesn't mean it won't give in the punishment Muy Malas was giving out. It was not a surprise when Muy Malas rocked him after getting full mount in the 2nd. Perry's eyes rolled back when Muy Malas connected with some massive shots from mount. I guess Perry needs to improve some parts of his game. That granite chin doesn't mean he won't get KTFO'ed.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Cosas Muy Malas!

MAIN EVENT

These two has already fought on B2L's Iron head. It was a very exciting match where Bu put a halt in Gonzales' winning streak. Before this fight Gonzales had bounced back from the loss he suffered from Bu with a dominating win on Matos. In this 2nd fight against Lu Bu, he was dominating the standup against Bu. He was better avoiding the strikes Bu was throwing at him and was connecting more of his strikes. Combining head shots, body shots, and kicks to the head and body. I was really routing for De Gonzales to get the revenge on Bu since I really like the underdogs. He was really looking good in the fight until the 2nd round. He was still dominating but when Bu connected with a counter right hand that hurt him. It went from a win into another loss for him. De Gonzles tried to defend but Bu just wouldn't let him recover. Another TKO win for Lu Bu. Great comeback.
