Brock Lesnar Smack talk

hey Gedeon Nkuwu, I feel sorry for you, I really am. God knows what you're going to do, when you lost 3 times in a row. You know sometimes you just gotta shut the fuck up and stay where you are, because we all know this competetion is just too high for your shitty boxing skills to even survive. Mark my words, by the end of the fight, my elbows are going to be bloody and tired because of how hard and how many times it hits yo ass. Get ready for some punishment bitch!

Gary Moskanovy Interview

Interviewer: Alright Gary thanks for joining me today for this interview. When you first started your MMA career you went 4 and 0, but you in the championship fight by a first round tko and then a decision. My question is will this be your turn around fight.

Moskavony: Yes I believe so. I think Peter will be a challenge in the stand up ,but if the fight goes to the ground I think I can submit him.

Interviewer: That is an interesting response. Do you think you will ever get another shot at the champ?

Moskavony: If I do I think it will take a lot more work before I will think that I am ready.

Interviewer: You are very honest with your answers. What have you been working on the most with your training?

Moskavony: I been training everything lately I really need to work my stand up soon so that I can become an all around fighter.

Interviewer: What is your prediction on the outcome of the fight.

Moskavony: I’ll win via submission.

Interviewer: Those are my questions so thanks for coming and good night.

Dwayne Howard Interview

Built 2 Last MMA Light Heavyweight contender Dwayne "Bang" Howard recently took the time to sit down with flyingkneemma.com to answer a few questions.

This is your first fight in the Built 2 Last Premier MMA organization. How do you feel?

Well, it's an honor to be fighting with such a great organization. I feel great to be doing what I love to do: punching people's faces in.

Who or what inspired you to be a fighter?

Well I got bullied a lot when I was younger. I was abandoned by my parents when I was 7 and lived with foster parents throughout my teen years. Every school I was in I was picked on, pushed around, tormented, roda roda roda... Finally I just snapped. I started fighting back. When i was 17 I ran away, eventually got a job in the city of Buffalo, NY as a janitor for a boxing gym. The owner took me in as I stayed in one of the back rooms for free. It was there when I really honed my fighting skills. After 14 months in Buffalo, I started hearing about MMA, saw a fight card in a shopping mall for the first time in Syracuse, NY and I was hooked. And the rest is history.

Who are some of your favourite Tycoon fighters?

Well since I'm still new to Tycoon, I really am not familiar with any. I'm sure there are some great guys that have done well...but not to be too confident, I'm sure I could go a few rounds with some top guys...just sayin'...

How'd you get the nickname "BANG"?

Well, when I first starting to work at the boxing gym, I was able to train as well. One time one of the coaches needed a sparring partner for one of their top guys. i never had any training so coach told me just go out their and fight, thinking I was going to be his guy's punching bag. Well, no one told me that and I went out there as he started to circle me, came in with a sloppy jab and I rushed in with a crisp left hook and "BANG", just like that his fighter collapsed. So after that day the coaches gave me that nickname.

Now your opponent this weekend is FkYou WithMyDik. What are your thoughts about him?

Other than having the worst name ever and looks like someone slapped him around with a fish his entire life? Not much. He's got a good ground game but that's about it. I believe I'm better on the ground. He can try to test me there but he won't succeed. He's 3-0 but i don't think he's faced anyone like me. I'm goin to go out there and hit him...and hit him hard. If he want's to take it to the ground I'll hit him there too. But when I go into the fight, I'm going to let my opponents know, i'm looking to rearrange their face. WithMyDik, i'm actually going to do him a favor and remodel his face with my fists. Who knows? He might end up looking a lot better than what he does now.

Well thanks so much for your time Dwayne. Any anybody you'd like to give a shout out to?

I'd like to thank Built 2 Last Premier MMA for this opportunity, ATF Gym,my manager, and my Savior Jesus Christ. If it weren't for Him I wouldnt be here today.

Peter Just Press Release

Peter Just Middleweight champ. " I'm ready to defend my title and just keep improving as a fighter. Since my last fight I've gained 7lbs in body mass to help gainand keep control of my opponents while bolstering my chin and adding strength. My opponent's striking is better but it usually is with who ever I fight, but it doesn't really doesn't matter. No one in this division is able to clinch or grapple with me so most of my opponents' game plan is obvious. Now I'm just waiting to weigh in on Friday and fight on Saturday."

Han Jambon Interview

Jambon the hockey enforcer turned mixed martial artist is returning to the cage at this week ends Built to last event in Montreal. Jambon who impressed with a thunderous KO of Martin Lagermo suffered the same fate in his last outing against Gaule Crixius.

In this week ends event Jambon is facing fellow striker Andy Sawer. Sawer is also entering the cage with a 1-1 record. Ryan Arkness from Fightlinker.com spoke with Han Jambon this morning.

Arkness- " What can we expect from your fight this week end:

Jambon- " You can expect lots of blood and a dirty russian drowning in it"

Arkness- "I guess you want the fans to forget about your loss to the french pugilist ?"

Jambon- "That French scum didnt beat me i slipped and knocked myself on the canvas."

Arkness- "Thats not how it looked from where i was sitting"

Arkness- "eeuh just forgot i have to be somewhere."

B2L (27) IRON HEAD'S REVENGE TOP 4 FIGHTS

Nielamliwy vs. McGauffie

Coming in this fight McGauffie is the favorite because he can either knock you out or break your limb and he is coming in with a 3 fight winning streak. Who can argue he will come out the winner in this fight? Actually Nielamliwy had a different opinion about this. In the fight Nielamliwy didn’t hesitate going for a takedown in fact he got one in the opening seconds of the round. McGauffie immediately was on the defense as he knows Nielamliwy has a clear advantage. Nielamliwy wasn’t letting McGauffie stop him though… Nielamliwy gets McGauffie’s leg and gets a kneebar McGauffie tries to defend but Nielamliwy got it secured, McGauffie immediately taps out when Nielamliwy started to crank his leg.

Winner via Submission(Kneebar), Michal Nielamliwy!

========================================================================================================================================================

If you’re going to look at the stats of these two fighters you’ll have shivers. Both of them combine for 10 wins and only a loss and 7 KO’s. Who wouldn’t have shivers about that?

It’s very odd that a MT guy gets owned in the clinch. That actually happened in the match. I guess Bu saw a hole in De Gonzales’ game and that was clinching. Bu scored multiple short punches and De Gonzales didn’t have any answer. After a minute or so, Bu pushes De Gonzales and scores with a powerful short hook. De Gonzales tries to get back up but Bu finishes him with more strikes.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w2.jpg

Winner via TKO(Strikes), Lu Bu!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

Shakur vs. Thomas

Whenever I see a world class boxer in a match I think that there’s gonna be a knockout. And Shakur didn’t disappoint. Shakur is really a smart fighter. Even though he has the advantage in boxing, he didn’t go over aggressive on Thomas. Shakur also was mixing his strikes. Thomas didn’t let Shakur dominate the whole fight though he was also trying to get some shots in. But Shakur was simply too much for Thomas. Just after the one minute mark of the fight. Shakur clips Thomas with an overhand right that wobbles him. Thomas tries to recover but Shakur made sure that he’s going to finish this. The referee goes in and stops the fight. Shakur was throwing punches and Thomas just couldn’t defend at all.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3b17.jpg

Winner via TKO(Strikes), Emeka Shakur!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

Oquendo vs. Snow

The fight definitely showed the advantages of having a fighter with diverse attacks and a one dimensional fighter. Oquendo definitely let his legs whip the hell out of Snow’s legs and body. Oquendo definitely have some power on those legs because in the first round Snow gassed out from a body kick from Oquenda. As the rounds go Snow was feeling the effects of those kicks. He was getting slower and slower but Oquendo couldn’t finish his opponent leading to a unanimous decision win.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27b13.jpg

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Jose Oquendo!

Starksson has been a regular here in the highlights. You ask me why? He has been a submission genius. He has submitted his past four opponents in the first round. The only question is can he stand against someone with great KO power. This fight answers that question. Iskar Jarak definitely has KO power and has decent wrestling. Starksson made sure that Jarak wouldn't use his tools on him. Starksson put Jarak down every round. Controlling him and landing some GnP. In the 3rd Jarak made a mistake. Starksson got a takedown straight into side control. Starksson immediately gets a kimura and torques it. Jarak taps out instantly.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39b6.jpg

Winner via Submission(Kimura), Stalin Starksson!

========================================================================================================================================================

Howard definitely made it clear he doesn't want to get poked by anyone's dick. Or maybe he just didn't like FkYou's dick? Anyway, Howard made him pay with a powerful combination. Howard didn't stop the pressure. He makes Dik tap out with his barrage of punches.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26w6.jpg

Winner via TKO(Strikes), Dwayne Howard!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

York vs. Kalashnikov

It's seems like Kalashnikov has a curse in defending the B2L Heavyweight title. This is his second title defense after regaining the title from Marco and it is his second title defense loss. I guess Kalashnikov was just packing too much power in those bombs to get a KO. York is scoring more with his combination of kicks and punches. Pluse Kalashnikov got hurt in the first round from the continuous leg kicks from York. York was really mixing it up making Kalashnikov unconfortable. He couldn't predict what will York do next. In the end York won with the diversity of his punches and kicks. He was just too unpredictable.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/8/8w13.jpg

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Nigel York!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

If this was a 3 round title match, Just could've retained his title but it went all 5 rounds. From the 1st to the 3rd round it was very close. Just was getting his takedowns and scoring with his GnP also Sardinii was dominating on the stand up. He was connecting with his hands and feet. Both guys were fighting back and forth. Dominating their opponents with their specialty discipline but when the 4th and 5th round came. Just couldn't land any takedowns. Maybe it's because of the leg kicks or maybe because Just isn't ready for a 5 round fight yet. Either way he was dominated by Sardiini. Sardiini won this with his conditioning. He out gunned Just in the last few rounds taking it to the judges.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Keijo Sardiini!

Built 2 Last 29: The Comedy of Terrors

Those of you who couldn't wait till Friday for an MMA fix are in luck. B2L 29 "The Comedy of Terrors" goes down Thursday night at The Underground. I don't know about comedy but there'll be plenty of terror for the 20 fighters fighting for survival in the ring. I guess for a certain warped breed that's comedy in itself. Let's see who's fighting this week.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole three round fight (five for titles), rather than a round by round ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

155 "Glass" Chin Po versus Mark MacLeod

The opening fight involves two newcomers with vastly different levels of experience. Po, age 19, hopes his youth and athleticism can overcome the experience and knowledge of MacLeod, age 27. Despite his average record, MacLeod is still a tough test for any young fighter. My prediction: MacLeod by decision.

185 Tabor "Boy Galis" Nok versus Alain "Coco" Martel

Still searching for their first B2L wins since losing their debuts, "Boy Galis," and "Coco" should be putting on a standing war for that win bonus. Martel hopes he can grind out a clinch win while Nok prefers to bang away. Neither has shown explosive power so it should be a fifteen minute affair. My prediction: Martel by decision.

185 Wilson "Tarantula" Arruna versus Harry Hammer

The third fight of the night is an interesting one because both fighters prefer the fight on the ground. Harry like a lot wrestlers prefers to drop bombs from the top. It'll be a race against "Tarantula" who's shown the ability to pull off submissions from the bottom. My prediction: Hammer by TKO.

205 Adrian "allday" peterson versus Mike Frazier

Both fighters come in Thursday trying to regain momentum after losing their last fight. Both also had some stream winning the two fights previous to the loss before finding this org is too deep to coast through. If he can take Frazier down, "allday" has a chance albeit a slim one. My prediction: Frazier by KO.

155 Pierce "The Fourth Judge" Russell versus PierreLuc Beaulieu

PierreLuc Beaulieu broke his amazing winless streak with a just as impressive TKO win over Victor Dragonov. He'll try to build on it by facing "The Fourth Judge," a boxer whose young career has been inconsistent as well. If Russell can keep the fight at a distance, he can win through technique but a dirty clinch war favors Beaulieu. My prediction: Beaulieu by decision.

205 Alarcon "The Traitor" Ramirez versus John "Unknown" Doe

Tough matchups have kept John "Unknown" Doe on his toes. Since winning his first fight in 43 seconds, he's won an ugly decision over Josh Bernardes and been TKO'd by Marcus Green. He gets another tough ground ace in "The Traitor" Ramirez who's undefeated with two first round submissions in B2L. "Unknown" has yet to be submitted but spending all that time on his back won't impress the judges. My prediction: Ramirez by submission.

155 To "twister" Blake versus Rico Olivarez

If you like BJJ, you'll love this brown belt battle between To "twister" Blake and Rico Olivarez. In essence, you're seeing with a grappling fight with legal strikes would be like. I doubt we're going to see much stand up in this one. My prediction: Blake by submission.

170 Pepito Manalotto versus Mark Groslouis

We get to build more evidence in the argument between Boxing and Muay Thai. Not to say Manalotto can only box, his strength is in his hands however and he'll test them against Mark Groslouis. Groslouis spent his last fight on his back but this fight should be more of a testament to his Muay Thai strengths. My prediction: Manalotto by TKO.

Co-Main Event

205 "Ugly" Joe Lambert versus Rado "Razor" McDonald

3-1 Rado "Razor" McDonald welcomes also 3-1 "Ugly" Joe Lambert to Built 2 Last in the co-main event of the night. Arriving from Ontario Fight Club, Lambert is an exciting ground and pound artist looking to continue his success in a new org. If McDonald can keep the fight standing, he'll get to ruin "Ugly" Joe's debut much like "Razor's" debut was ruined by a Josh Bernardes kneebar. Regardless of where the fight goes, I'd bet on a finish. My prediction: Lambert by TKO.

Main Event

265 Dutch "Long" Hand versus George "Iceman" Chambers

Kinda like a bigger version of the co-main event, exciting takedown finisher Dutch "Long" Hand looks to continue his ascent up the heavyweight ladder against George "Iceman" Chambers. So powerful he can make takedowns look devastating like his suplex against Neil Schmidt, Hand has yet to be in a boring fight which is why it's great to see him in the main event. A boxing ace, "Iceman" Chambers has the technique to break Hand down who has mediocre striking at best. The question is if he can keep the fight standing long enough to do so. My prediction: Hand by TKO

To Blake Interview

To "Twister" Blake is set to fight the Brazilian Rico Olivarez tomorrow in Montreal on the next B2L card. Dominic Bertrand du Journal de Montreal interviewed him tonight.

Bertrand - " You were knocked out in your last fight by the powerfull Asteroids Bombereem. Looks like you are fighting another ground specialist in Rico Olivarez. What is your game plan going into the fight."

Blake- "Obviously the last fight did'nt go as planned. This time i got to train outside of my comfort zone so you can expect anything come fight night. My stand up improved dramatically and i want to showcase it"

Bertrand- "You have been training with fellow Nine member Jon Leloup who is making his debut tomorrow. We heard great things about this kid."

Blake- " Yes the kid is phenomenal. His opponent is gonna have his hands full with him."

Bertrand- "Is it true he knocked you out in training twice ?"

Blake- "Is the interview about me or about him ??.......Screw that we re done."

Bertrand - "....."

Blake -"......."

Alain Martel Interview

Alain Martel, the part time McGill art student part time prize fighter is entering the cage for the thrid time this week in what should be a make it or break it fight for him. Alain sat down with Patrice Lamoureux this morning.

- Lamoureux "Good afternoong Alain, what is your frame of mind going into this fight with Tabor Nok?"

- Martel "Well i know Nok is a well rounded fighter with a good chin. I am not too worry about him actually i am more worried about myself. I am my own worst enemy. I am going into this fight not really knowing if i wanna make it in this buisness. I guess this fight will decide if i keep at it or if i give it up."

- Lamoureux " That must be hard to push yourself in the gym without motivation."

- Martel" I am motivated...Worrying about not getting your head caved in is motivation enough in this buisness"

- Lamoureux" Last time you fought you mentionned your familly wasnt aware of your fighting career, did you break the news?"

- Martel "yes i did and lets just say they are not too impressed with it..."

- Lamoureux "Ok this is gettign depressing. Good luck with the fight."

- Martel "Thank you.."

--

Mark groslious Interview

Mark Groslouis is entering the cage this week for the second time in a month. The veteran kick boxer wants to get his first win against fellow striker Pepito Manalotto, a Phllipinno boxer now living in Montreal. Patrice Lamoureux sat with Groslouis this morning at his gym in St-Hyacyntyh.

- Lamoureux : " Hello Mark, how was training for this fight"

- Groslouis: " Training has been excellent. I worked with some very good wrestlers and BJJ guys for this fight. You can expect to see a whole new Mark Groslouis enter the cage"

- Lamoureux : "Excellent, who did you work with in preparation for this fight?"

- Groslouis: " Martel, To and Blake all have fights on the same cards or this week end so we all trained together. Our team went through a rough time this past month but we re looking to turn things around"

- Lamoureux: " Thanks for taking the time to talk to us this morning. Good luck with the fight"

- GrosLouis: " Thank you sir"

George St Pierre Interview

To Jorge St pierre:

"Hey bitch, wat up. Jorge St Pierre, what kind of name that is, that is THE gayest, stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life, so that means the announcer aint gon bring yo ass's name up before, after, or during the fight, imma beat you up so BAAAAD, the next day after yo fight, yo wife gon divorce you. I am just too strong for ya, too new-school, too fast. Anything you do, I can do it better"

: Yo and we here with the fighter GSP who is looking to knock out JSP tomorrow, my man G can you tell us about your tactics coming into this fight?

GSP: well I think I am going to stand and bang you know, imma stay aggressive and keep the pressure on, he thinks he can submit me but I can tell you I respect his ground game but I'm just simply too strong for him. I lost my debut in this org but this time you will see what I'm made of.

I: okay thx for the interview, good luck in ur fight

--

Chin Po Interview

MMA Madness spoke with Chin Po this week in our weekly New Faces segment.

MMA: How did you get into fighting?

Po: I actually didn't do any sports or martial arts like a lot of fighters that transition into MMA. I was with some friends at a bar that was showing MMA on their big screens. I got hooked; and when I got home, I spent all night looking up fight videos on Youtube. The next day, I found a local gym and have been training since.

MMA: For people who haven't seen you fight, how would you describe your style?

Po: I think my style is changing everyday because I'm training all the time. To be honest, I'm working on becoming a better athlete right now to catch up with some of these beasts in Built2Last. I'm a striker first though which hopefully creates some excitement for fans.

MMA: What do you think of your next opponent and how do you see the fight going?

Po: My coaches and I have been studying all his tape and I'm in for a challenge. I think when he's on his game he can beat anybody. He's been off lately though so I think my relentless pace will eventually destroy his will.

MMA: Thank you for your time and good luck.

Po: Thanks. I'd like to thank Built2Last for the opportunity and my sponsor Core Tokyo.

Built 2 Last 30: DolladollaBling Yall

Saturday night will the night we can definitively put the stamp on who is the better of two 205 beasts, at least for a few weeks anyways. Pit Bull defends his title against the man he took it from, Chucky Little. Will "Icecold's" monster power cut "Rock's" title run short? Who knows? But guess what? There's nine other awesome fights to see. Don't miss any of 'em.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole three round fight (five for titles), rather than a round by round ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

170 Georges St Pierre versus Jorge "Trick Master" St Pierre

After losing his pro debut, I'm sure Georges St Pierre is itching to show his true skills in the B2L ring. He'll get another shot against Jorge St Pierre, a young boxer with an aggressive guard. There's been a lot of trash talk so it should be an intense war. My prediction: Jorge St Pierre by submission

185 Stephan "RudeBoy" Potvin versus Fedor Obsut

The first middleweight fight of the night will be a striker versus wrestler affair. Takedown defense will decide the winner as "Rudeboy" will be in trouble if he can't take Obsut down. Fedor has a considerable advantage standing. My prediction: Obsut by TKO.

185 IRONMAN "KILLER" GAB versus Jack Mistigris

"KILLER" GAB has been having problems staying out of submissions since joining B2L. Luckily for him, his next fight against long time org veteran Jack Mistigris shouldn't involve too much of that. It should be a stand up battle that favors GAB. My prediction: GAB by decision.

155 Tony Corner versus Tommy "The Samurai" Avila

Undefeated lightweight Tony Corner gets the tough task of welcoming another strong lightweight Tommy Avila to the 155 mix. Avila is well-rounded but prefers the clinch, an area that isn't Corner's strength. If the fight goes there, it'll be hard for Corner to avoid his first loss. My prediction: Avila by decision.

185 Mick "The Punisher" Audet versus "The Cobra Kid" Johnny LaRusso

Well "The Cobra Kid" won his B2L debut rather easily but it wasn't exactly the most exciting fight we've had. Hopefully he'll step it up a notch against "The Punisher," as a strong performance against him could push him into the crowded middleweight contender pool. A win for Audet would do the same. My prediction: Beaulieu by decision.

205 Gino "Bri" To versus Gordy "TD" Nennigs

It'll be a light heavyweight wrestler versus clinch grinder matchup as we pass the midway point of the night's card. I don't know if "Bri" will be able to take "TD" down. All I know is someone is going to have the first loss of his career. My prediction: Nennigs by decision.

265 "Hype" Oleg Sladkov versus Roy Savage

Fans of knockouts should pay attention to this heavyweight battle of boxers. 75% of their combined fights have ended by knockout or technical knockout. Roy Savage has the majority of them, and his experience in wars should aid him again against "Hype" Sladkov. My prediction: Savage by KO.

165 Brock Lesnar versus Poncho "Tinku" Rojo

The loser of the Brock Lesnar twin battle has to keep this next fight standing or it'll be a short night indeed. "Tinku" is a brown belt and has proven he can use it well since joining B2L, winning both his fights by first round sub. By virtue of momentum, it's hard to bet against Rojo in this one. My prediction: Rojo by submission.

Co-Main Event

170 Charlie "Shagger" Harper versus Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter VIII

"Shagger" Harper is getting thrown into the fire by debuting in the co-main event against "The Cannibal" Lecter VIII. Both strong Muay Thai fighters, Hannibal does edge Charlie in the grappling department. It'll be interesting to see if the fight actually goes there or if a technical kickboxing match takes place. I expect most of the fighting to be done on the feet, both at range and in the clinch. Either way, it should be a great and hard fought war leading up to the anticipated main event. My prediction: Lecter VIII by decision.

Main Event: 205lb Title Fight

205 Pit "Rock" Bull versus Chucky "Icecold" Little

One of the best rivalries in Built 2 Last history, Saturday night will end with the rubber match to two 205 greats. Pit Bull used stifling kicks in the last meeting to wear Little down and convincingly win the title. Many fans however believe in the well-documented finishing power of "Icecold's" fists and that this third match will go more like their first meeting which ended in a typical first round KO for Little. I don't doubt his power one bit but I think "Rock" might have found the formula to stopping him. My prediction: Bull by decision.

(B2L) 29: COMEDY OF TERRORS TOP 3 FIGHTS

The Unknown man has been struggling of late. Doe has been KO'ed in his previous fight by Marcus Green. We all know fighters are not the same once they have been KO'ed. Doe doesn't need to worry about that since Ramirez is a submission fighter. In the start of the fight both fighters were swinging bombs and both of them barely landed anything. Doe definitely was not going to take this fight on the ground he didn't even tried a takedown but Ramirez had other plans. He got a takedown and worked on the ground. As soon as Doe made a mistake Ramirez capitalized on it. He caught doe with a guillotine choke. Ramirez wasn't let this fight last long. He tightened his grip and he was never let Doe go until he passed out. Doe was turning to purple until he taps out from the guillotine.

Winner via Submission(Guillotine), Alarcon Ramirez!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

Everybody thought McDonald was going to get owned in the ground and Lambert was going to get takedowns. Now the fight is done look who's smiling now? Actually you cant see McDonald's face through the thick hair in his face but he's actually smiling. In the fight Lambert didn't even land a takedown. McDonald made sure he will slow Lamert down. He was looking to take away Lambert's leg. He was dominating him on the feet as well as stuffing Lamberts takedowns. After 3 rounds of stand up action McDonald definitely dominated Lambert. Lambert just couldn't get him on the ground thus he could not do his gameplan.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/18/18b2.jpg

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Rado McDonald!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

This is another grappler vs. striker match. Pretty much the same as the co-main event but this one the grappler definitely made sure he was going take it to the ground. Hand definitely has got great ground game. As soon as he got into side control he dropped bombs on Chambers. He was making sure the fight won't get stood up. He was throwing everything he could throw at him. Whether it's GnP or submissions he threw it at him but the most significant was his GnP. He cut him early in the round and the final blow was dealt when he landed some vicious GnP in the 3 minute mark of the round. Chambers' cut was a bloody mess. The doctor checked Chambers' cut and called the fight over. A disappointing loss for Chambers.

Winner via TKO(Cut), Dutch Hand!

This fight we knew we will not see anyone go for a takedown. Although Avilla goes for a takedown late in the 3rd we knew he wasn't gonna do anything in the ground. It was an all out brawl. Both fighters were connecting their shots. Avilla really using his artillery of attacks going for kicks punch and even going in the clinch. Avilla was just too diverse in his attacks. Scoring in the clinch, and dominating on feet. In the end Avilla was just to unpredictable. The judges gave him 3 rounds to Avilla winning the fight via unanimous decision and breaking Corner's unbeaten streak.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Tommy Avila!

CO-MAIN EVENT

Both fighters in this match have great muay thai background. One thing that's an advantage to Lecter is that he has a granite chin but Harper had other plans. He didn't target Lecter's chin. He targeted his legs. He was continually whacking his legs til it has a huge welt and til it turned violet. Harper was not stopping his gameplan until he made Lecter quit the match but Lecter never quit. As the fight goes the Lecter slow down until he wasn't able to do anything at all. In the end Harper dominated the fight with his tremendous kicks.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Charlie Harper!

MAIN EVENT

This rematch we saw some rage in Little. He was determined to reclaim something that's rightfully was his and that is his the heavyweight championship belt. He was firing punches that could kill a bull plus he put Bull in an uncomfortable position. He put Bull in the clinch most of the fight. He was letting it fly in the clinch. Throwing bombs to the body and head. He was enjoying the bloody mess that he's doing in to Bull cutting him with those powerful punches. He even rocked him in the 2nd where he was pummeling him more and more but he wasn't able to finish him though. In the 3rd Bull was bleeding badly. After another nasty hook from Little the referee called the doctor to check on Bull's cut. The doctor called a stop to the fight. This is a sweet revenge for Little. Now he reclaimed the title as the heavy weight champion.

Built 2 Last 31: Street Kings

What happens when you take some of B2L's most recognizable names, add two champions, and one title fight? One of the most stacked cards in the organization's history. Max House defends his lightweight belt against Flavio Sandoval while Beautiful Boxer takes on Moon Nam Sip in a non-title bout. If that wasn't enough, all this action will be going on inside a cage at Hard Knocks in Montreal. Damn.

All fights will take place in a cage and be judged by the whole three round fight (five for titles), rather than a round by round ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

185 Jacques Gillette versus Alfonso "Minotoro" Dilorenzo

We'll open up the event with a kickboxer versus boxer matchup between Jacques Gillette and Alfonso Dilorenzo. Normally, I tend to side with the kickboxer because he can usually wear the boxer down with kicks and clinchwork. But Dilorenzo has shown he has other weapons particularly on the ground, an area Gillette faltered in his first fight. My prediction: Dilorenzo by submission.

185 Eyetake Yudaon versus Eliseo "Rolando" Rodriguez

Considering the first meeting between these two was over in less than two minutes, Yudaon must've thought his loss was a fluke. So here we are again, two ground guys, Yudaon with a wrestling base and Rodriguez with a BJJ one. This re-match might go longer but will probably end the same way. My prediction: Rodriguez by submission.

170 Luke "Die Hard" Downer versus "Testy" Bustin Balls

Both Luke "Die Hard" Downer and "Testy" Bustin Balls will be fighting to avoid a losing record after Friday night's fight. Downer likes to stand and bang, something Balls would like not to do as he prefers a ground fight. I don't know if he'll be able to take it there before being knocked out. My prediction: Downer by TKO.

170 Rosa "Bloody Rosa" Luxemburg versus "Awesome" Howard Schmidt

"Awesome" Howard Schmidt was introduced into B2L with a striker and grappler matchup, one he lost. He'll get the same test again against undefeated brown belt Rosa Luxemburg. You might as well flip a coin as the fight could end lightning quick by Schmidt knockout or Lexumburg submission in the first round. My prediction: Luxemburg by submission.

205 Josh "Braker" Bernardes versus Mahtava "Mursu" Emppe

Another grappler versus striker matchup, two always exciting fighters Josh Bernardes and Mahtava Emppe hope to right their ships after losing their last fights. If "Braker" takes it to the ground, he has a shot but "Mursu's" grappling is competent enough to keep the fight standing long enough to win by strikes. My prediction: Emppe by decision.

170 Luke Withers versus Jason "Bring It" Baltimore

When we first saw Luke Withers, he was 6-8 and seemingly on the downside of his career. Two first round TKO wins later, he's on the comeback trail. If Withers isn't careful, he could find the night end quickly as his opponent Jason Baltimore, typically a ground and pounder, is very crafty off his back. My prediction: Withers by decision.

170 Ivan "The Terrible" Sampaio versus Dean Perry

Ivan "The Terrible" found himself outclassed in a gutty five round affair against the champion Beautiful Boxer. He starts his path back to another shot against Dean Perry, another victim of the current champion. Both like to strike quick, usually ending things in the first round. Don't miss this one. My prediction: Perry by decision.

155lb Title Fight

155 Max "Well" House versus Flavio "The Spanish Armada" Sandoval

Current lightweight champion Max "Well" House knows he can stand and trade but would ultimately like to take the fight down. Especially in this next fight against Flavio "The Spanish Armada" Sandoval, striking expert with strong takedown defense. He faces his toughest test yet as Sandoval has the strongest mix of striking and grappling skills since Michael Jimenez. My prediction: House by decision.

Co-Main Event

205 "Sunshine" Marcel Thuram versus Marcus "Terminator" Green

The two co-main event participants debuted into Built 2 Last with first round KO or TKO finishes. Marcus Green is undefeated in six fights while Marcel Thuram is 8-3 with a four fight win streak. These facts are creating a lot of buzz for B2L fans who hadn't known much about these two until their debuts. Despite their short time in the organization, the winner of what should be primarily a striking bout could be a new name to break up the streak of rematches at the top of the 205 division. My prediction: Thuram by decision.

Main Event

170 Beautiful Boxer versus Moon Nam Sip

In a non-title affair, welterweight champion Beautiful Boxer faces takedown bulldozer Moon Nam Sip. 3-0 in his career, he debuted against Howard Schmidt with his trademark and submit formula in the first round. We'll see if he can do that against the champion who's coming off a five round thrashing of a game Ivan Sampaio. It will be an interesting experiment for Boxer who hasn't faced a wrestler of this caliber since becoming the champion. His opponent gets to find out whether his lack of a striking game can actually work against one of the premiere strikers at 170. My prediction: Boxer by decision.

Built 2 Last 32: Who gives a Hoot

Who gives a hoot? You should if you like watching the big boys throw down. Four super heavyweights, one heavy weight, and a handful of lightweights just to keep the ring from collapsing from strain. It's not every night you get to see a division sort itself out in one night. Take a look.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole three round fight (five for titles), rather than a round by round ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

265+ Johnny "Joe Bine" Walker versus Gabriel Munez

We start off with a super heavyweight battle between two newbies looking for their first professional win. Johnny Walker has been unsuccessful in his two fights, his chin failing him mightily in both first rounds. It's not looking like a good bet against Gabriel Munez, a strong wrestler with an evolving Muay Thai game making his pro debut. My prediction: Munez by TKO.

265+ Eric "Bobo" Correa versus "The Killer Wombat" Jorge Murphy

"Bobo" is interesting because he's not a typical train full time fighter. He just shows up and scraps. It probably won't work well against someone like Jorge Murphy, a boxer who takes his training seriously at Tristar. His technical striking should wear Correa down but hey one punch could end his night quickly too. My prediction: Murphy by decision.

265+ Bubba "Big" Charles versus Siggi "Sumo" Herrmann

A ground fighter with sensational wrestling skills, Bubba Charles with a similar gameplan. It'll be a test of wills to see who can get take and keep their opponent down. Despite having one more win, "Big's" wrestling advantage is probably too much. My prediction: Charles by decision.

265 Kyle "Butcher" Buttler versus "Nickel" Ned Schnidt

"Nickel" Ned Schnidt's last fight was going great until he blacked out from a Dutch Hand fist. He better be careful against Kyle "Butcher" Buttler who debuted with an impressive first round destruction of Robbie McSlaughter. It might be deja vu for Schnidt as Buttler has the striking skills to end the fight at any moment. My prediction: Buttler by TKO.

205 Rich "Hands of Stone" Thorburn versus Salvador "Big Shot" Cannon

In another grappler versus striker fight, Salvador Cannon makes his debut trying to takedown and pummel Rich Thorburn. Luckily for "Hands of Stone," "Big Shot" hasn't shown an ability to finish which will give him plenty of time to use his striking advantage. If he can stay up long enough that is. My prediction: Thorburn by decision.

155 Jimmy "The Gent" Conway versus Graham Goddard

One of the rare real black belts in our organization, Graham Goddard should have an easy win on his hands against Jimmy Conway, a fighter who hasn't won in four previous bouts. Considering the vast majority of his losses come by submission, only a major mistake by Goddard would end with a loss. My prediction: Goddard by submission.

155 "NO2" Asteroids Bombereem versus Travis Ramsey

His nickname fitting him to a tee since going pro, "NO2" Asteroids Bombereem hasn't even gone past the first minute of either of his B2L fights. He'll face a tough Travis Ramsey who recently lost to top contender Flavio Sandoval. Perhaps the veteran will show the young gun some adversity. My prediction: Bombereem by TKO.

205 Techno Viking versus Logan "The Iceman" Louis

Techno Viking hasn't tasted the sweetness of victory since joining Built 2 Last, losing his three fights decisively. If you think that's bad, Logan Louis is winless in six fights, albeit one being a no contest that wasn't his fault. In what has become a kind of side show for MMA fans, maybe one of these fighters can build a solid career out of a victory on Saturday. My prediction: Draw.

Co-Main Event

155 "The Conqueror" Bittor Xavier versus Adam "Snake" Silva

While lately it's been rough going for "The Conqueror," a true black belt with enough striking skills to keep his head on his neck will always be a dangerous opponent. It's been the opposite for "Snake" Silva as he's 7-1 in his career, running through his B2L opponents. Another strong performance here would start some rumblings for a title shot or at least a shot at top contender. A win for Bittor Xavier however could steal his opponent's momentum and force fans to recognize the newcomer as a legitimate lightweight threat. My prediction: Silva by decision.

Main Event

265+ Slow Fade versus Chris Cook

We start with a super heavyweight fight and end with one. You might not recognize these two because they've yet to fight under the Built 2 Last banner. But trust me, they're for real. Slow Fade is coming in with a five fight win streak with four finishes to total a career record of 14-4-1. Chris Cook is 7-1 with all his wins coming by TKO or KO. Regardless of who wins, you're going to see a slobber-knocker with two big boys trying to knock heads off. Whoever wins will be putting current champion Emeka Shakur on notice. My prediction: Cook by TKO.

TOP 3 FIGHTS OF (B2L) 31 : STREET KINGS

House vs. Sandoval

If you’re going to look at Sandoval’s record you wouldn’t even think that he’s going to take a fight on the ground. Guess what? He did and he was successful. Maybe he was arrogant or he’s just that good of a fighter to take on a purple belt on the ground. Although House had the superior Jits he got caught with a Kimura. He tried to defend it but Sandoval secured it pretty well. Sandoval cranked his arm and tried to take it home. Luckily the referee stopped the fight before House got hurt. Sandoval was really determined tear House’s arm off along with his belt.

Winner via Submission (Kimura), Flavio Sandoval!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

When I was watching the first round of this fight, I was thinking this would end up either a KO or a TKO. It was clear that Thuram’s power was just too much for Green. When Thuram knocked him down and followed him on the ground he almost finished the fight. Although he recovered to survive the first round he was really bleeding badly. It even got worse when he got clipped with a combo. He was bleeding all over the place when Thuram took him down and GnP’ed his face. The referee noticed that Green was making bloody mess on the matt and that caused him to call the doctor. Green was clearly bleeding himself to death and it was right for the doctor to stop the fight.

Winner via TKO (Cut), Marcel Thuram!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

This fight was really short as Boxer really surprised me with his counter takedown. I’m sure his manager would also be surprised with his tactic. Of course once you go to the ground with Sip it would be like jumping into a pit of snakes. Pit has submitted all of his past opponents within 3 minutes of the first round. This fight showed that he would shine in the spotlight. This is his shortest and fastest submission to date. An amazing submission win for Sip!

Winner via Submission (Armbar), Moon Nam Sip!

Murphy must be really disappointed after this match. After winning 3 straight fights he has been defeated by Correa with Ln’P strategy. Although this is a very boring way to win he did it very well. He just controlled Murphy in the ground without doing anything. I’m surprised the referee didn’t do anything about this. I was really hoping to see Murphy extend his winning streak but I guess he really needs to improve his ground skills for him to stuff those takedowns and keep the fight standing up.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Eric Correa!

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

We all know both fighters will go to the ground and both fighters will put on a show and they didn’t disappoint. When the fight started I knew both fighters won’t take long before someone shoots for a take down. And it didn’t take long before Silva goes for one. As soon as the fight went to the ground Silva was aggressive looking for a submission. Maybe he forgot that he’s going against a black belt? Xavier did great defending against Silva’s sub attempts and forced a referee stand up. As soon as the fight got stood up Silva got another takedown and the very first sub attempt of Xavier was his last. He surprised Silva with an arm bar that came out of nowhere. Silva taps out from the arm bar. Xavier showed how dominant he is in on the ground. Great win!

Winner via Submission (Armbar), Bittor Xavier!

SUPER FIGHT

Cook really made a statement here in B2L. He made it look easy beating Slow Fade. Fade is no joke. He has 15 KO's and has only 4 loses in his career. On the other hand Cook may still have some anger after his recent lose against Liha Pulla. He made sure this fight will be over in the first round. It just took him 20 seconds to finish off Fade. We're pretty sure that wasn't SLOW. Ha! What a lame joke... Anyway, cook must've studied Fade's previous matches and saw he has the edge in the clinch. He abused Fade in the clinch landing all of his vicious shots to the head putting Fade to sleep and an end the fight.

Winner via TKO (Punches), Chris Cook!

Built 2 Last 33: Born to be Bad

Parents tell their children growing up that fighting is bad. Some children stop; some children can't. The ones that can't grow up and later tell the fans: "I was born to do this." Built 2 Last offers these bad people a place to be true to themselves and be accepted in all their flawed glory. Of course, we are civilized people and there are still rules to be followed. Regardless, let's revel in another night of bad, and see what another Saturday night in the cage at The Underground has in store for us.

All fights will take place in a cage and be judged by a ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

155 Mickey Javier "The Falkon" Pantaleon versus "hands of pillow" Takanori Gomi

Two lightweight fighters that have not tasted victory in a long while will start the night off. Takanori Gomi has been finished three times in three fights all in the first round since joining the organization. Sad to say, he doesn't have much of a chance even if "The Falkon" is coming off two straight losses. My prediction: Pantaleon by decision.

155 Michael "Nuclear" Jimenez versus "Terror" Maximilien Robespierre

The only other lightweight fight of the night should feel like deja vu to the observant MMA fan. These two met in late February with Robespierre taking a decision win. "Nuclear" Jiminez recently stopped his skid down the 155 ladder by impressively finishing Shinya Aoki in eleven seconds. "Terror" on the other hand, is coming off a loss and hoping the 2nd fight will go like the 1st. My prediction: Robespierre by decision.

170 "Olympian gold medalist" Remy Garmin versus Georges "Rush" St Pierre

It feels like just yesterday I was questioning if Remy Garmin had any other tools in his bag aside from wrestling to actually win an MMA bout. Two first round submission wins later, he's found it and hopes it'll work just as well against "Rush" St Pierre. Georges is a brown belt though so Remy better be careful in this one. My prediction: Garmin by submission.

205 Bret McCoy versus Adrian "allday" peterson

Despite coming in with confidence, "allday" has struggled on the B2L stage, dropping his only two fights. His next opponent, Brett McCoy has had similar difficulties, winning one out of four fights. Both can win on the ground so a grappling match could go in any direction. My prediction: McCoy by submission.

265+ "The Tower" Tra Falgar versus Chris Murney

Another rematch for a fight that was rather close depending on who you were rooting for, this battle like the first one will be decided in the clinch. If Falgar can keep out of it, his striking could pave the way to a revenge win. If Murney takes it there again, Falgar could find himself losing the exact same way. My prediction: Murney by decision.

170 Jaxon Hinges versus "The Phantom" Fabio Huerta

"The Phantom" welcomes a fighter with considerable experience outside of B2L, Jaxon Hinges. Despite having striking talent, it hasn't come together for Hinges having lost five in a row. A new organization might give him a spark like it did to his opponent who did win two in a row once joining. It hasn't been all roses for Huerta however as he's lost two in a row recently. My prediction: Huerta by submission.

185 Eyetook Yudaon versus Jan "Mclovin" Mcdougall

Similar to a Remy Garmin minus a gold medal, Eyetook Yudaon is a wrestler who doesn't quite know how to finish a fight. He can control you like hell for fifteen minutes though. If he's not careful, purple belt "Mclovin" could make him pay for taking the fight to the mat. Despite the risk, I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of Yudaon's back on Saturday. My prediction: Yudaon by decision.

265+lb Title Fight

265+ Ronnie Coleman versus "The Nigerian Nightmare" Emeka Shakur

Ronnie Coleman shined under the B2L spotlight, displaying his winning ground and pound formula with a first round submission against Mirko Filipovic. He'll get the opportunity of a lifetime, challenging the champion, "The Nigerian Nightmare." While Shakur has destroyed every opponent since joining the org, he's yet to be put on his back. If Coleman can do it, he has a shot; otherwise, he'll be waking up to the lovely face of a referee. My prediction: Shakur by TKO.

Co-Main Event

185 Evgeni "Baretta" Klebanov versus Yoshihiro "Sexyama" Akiyama

Sometimes a fan will see an unstoppable fighter like Evgeni "Baretta" Klebanov who has won ten in a row and vacated his lightweight title to join Built 2 Last, and say, "he's so good he could beat a middleweight." Well, we get to see it come to fruition as he faces another B2L newcomer Yoshihiro "Sexyama" Akiyama, a fighter who walks around at 190 pounds. Despite the weight difference, the fight is at it's core a grappler versus striker bout. Depending on where the fight ends up, it could add to the "Baretta" legend or show us everyone is human. My prediction: Silva by decision.

Main Event

265 Stalin "Steal Mill" Starksson versus Brock Lesnar

The big boys will end our night with a grappling affair. It'll be about BJJ against wrestling as Starksson has finished every one of his five fights by submission, usually a different one every night. There's no doubt his brown belt is for real. Lesnar may not have a brown belt but he could have one for ground and pound if they existed. If he can keep top control, he could do what five others couldn't and beat "Steal Mill." But one mistake and he could find himself tapping to something he or we haven't seen before. My prediction: Starksson by submission.

Built 2 Last 34: Motion in the Ocean

B2L 34 won't bring any seawater just more of the great action you expect every week albeit on a rare Sunday night. In exchange, it'll be a bigger venue to amp the crowd noise as they cheer on some of the most talented fighters in the org. Names like Caparas, Crixius, and a middleweight title fight might leave you a little moist. Wipe up and read on my friends.

All fights will take place in a cage and be judged by a ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

205 "Vorssan poika" Justin Case versus Ma Chao

We begin the night with a ground and pounder against a sprawl and brawler. The split second they meet as Case attempts to take Chao down will decide who wins. If he can manage to keep it standing, his striking advantage should lead to a win. Otherwise, Case may pound his face through the mount. My prediction: Case by decision.

170 "The Ultimate Weapon" Danilo Caparas versus Charly "Max B" Wingate

A fighter many proclaim to be the future of MMA and B2L, Danilo Caparas faces an opponent that should pose a major test to his takedown defense as well as his momentum. "Max B" shared a similar path to stardom only to have it derailed by a Zuko rear naked choke. If he can beat "The Ultimate Weapon," he'll find himself probably even further up the welterweight ladder. My prediction: Caparas by TKO.

170 Alan "T-Bone" Ringseal versus Kenshi "Ground Zero" Zuko

Two welterweights that like to hit the mat, "T-Bone" and "Ground Zero" should deliver a tense ground battle. While a fight could obviously go any way, I just don't think Ringseal has any areas to keep the fight to his advantage. Zuko on paper holds an edge in every area of the ring. My prediction: Zuko by submission.

155 "The Natural Born Killer" Mickey Knox versus Marco "Brick Shithouse" Brickowski

A combined 7-0, Knox and Brickowski obviously know how to win. If you give extra for style points, "Brick Shithouse," has finished his last two opponents by head kick. Knox better close the distance quick or he could be the third victim. If he can do so, a decision win is a win regardless. My prediction: Brickowski by TKO.

185 Han "Maple Leaf" Jambon versus Tabor "Boy Galis" Nok

Hockey enforcer turned MMA pro "Maple Leaf" Jambon brings a scrap even if there's no ice or jerseys in a B2L cage. Fights on the ice don't usually involve grappling so Tabor Nok could test his resiliency in the face of relentless takedowns. If he can stay vertical, he could prove not all fighters come from martial arts. My prediction: Nok by decision.

265 Camillo "The Prankster" Starksson versus George "Iceman" Chambers

Two fighters coming off brutal losses, one by knee and the other by bloody doctor stoppage, "The Prankster" and "Iceman" look to show they can hang in the heavyweight division. Starksson's success usually comes from submission so in essence, we're looking at another grappler versus striker match. Let's see if Chambers can stay standing. My prediction: Starksson by submission.

185 "The Existentialist" Jean Paul Sartre versus Vincent Lontrame

Despite the poor record, Vincent Lontrame hasn't given up on his career, bouncing back from two losses to win by submission. He faces a tough though against a rare elite Muay Thai clinch master in Jean Paul Sartre. While he's yet to finish an opponent, he's unleashed thirty minutes of pure clinch hell to two convincing wins. My prediction: Sartre by decision.

185 "The Undefeated Gaul" Gaule Crixius versus Erik "Teddy bear" Flugentaggen

Like I've asked before, I wonder what will happen to his nickname if Guale Crixius ever loses. He's yet to be tested enough for it to be a threat though his last match did actually last longer than the first round. "Teddy bear" has been impressive lately, building a two submission streak. If he can extend that streak, we might finally get the answer to the question I've been asking. My prediction: Yudaon by decision.

Co-Main Event

265 Greg "Minotaur" Minat versus The "Bearded" Dos Equis Guy

The co-main event will be a grappler versus striker match through and through. Minat's biggest strength is his BJJ brown belt and it shows in his four submission wins. They did come after his B2L debut lost outside of the organization so a win against The Dos Equis Guy could prove that was just a fluke. It'll be tough going against 4-0 Guy, a finishing machine, never needing more than the first round to TKO or KO people into oblivion. His wrestling hasn't been tested yet but my gut tells me he won't need it before the ref stops him from bloodying "Minotaur" up. My prediction: Guy by TKO.

Main Event: 185lb Title Fight

185 Keijo "Ylimielinen" Sardiini versus "The Secret Weapon" Jose Oquendo

With a devastating head kick that isn't much of a secret anymore, Jose Oquendo powered his way to a 9-2 record to earn a chance to come full circle and regain the middleweight title. One of his only two blemishes is a submission by strikes to new champion Keijo Sardiini. "Ylimielinen" used that victory to gain a title shot and beat Peter Just. With the explosive finishing power of both fighters, this fight could end in a split second. That power plus their willingness to strike means our Sunday night will end with excitement. In terms of a winner, the volatility of the division makes me think the title could change hands again despite their first meeting. My prediction: Oquendo by TKO.

(B2L) 33: Born to be Bad

Coleman vs. Shakur

Since his last fight in SFO, Shakur has been Knocking people out silly with his world class boxing. It seems he will be holding this belt for a long time. It’s no surprise that Shakur got the KO of the night after KO'ing Coleman with some powerful shots. He made Coleman’s granite chin look like cotton with his vicious KO power. Even with serious power he barely missed any shots in the fight missing only once with a head kick. After putting to sleep a fighter with granite chin it was clear that Emeka Shakur will be the super heavyweight champion of the world for a long time in B2L!

CO-MAIN EVENT

Klebanov has been in a 10 fight winning streak and his cardio has been tested. He has won several wars in the past but that was not the case in this fight. The fight didn't last long. Most of you thought that he could’ve been KO’ed by Akiyama because of his superior striking but no. Klebanov avoided most of Akiyama’s shots. He even won the stand up battle against him. We knew it’s just a matter of time before he gets a take down and submission. Once he did manage to take down Akiyama it took only one sub attempt to make Akiyama tap. Klebanov with a superb performance.

========================================================================================================================================================

MAIN EVENT

Starksson vs. Lesnar

Starksson is a ground genius. Every opponent he faces he finishes. Even if he was put against a wrestler in Lesnar he was able to finish him. As usual wrestlers get the takedown, the only advantage BJJ guys have is that even if they are on their back they can pull of submission and they wouldn't just rely on GnP. Starksson didn't finish this in the first round but he only took 26 seconds in the 2nd round where he went for a kneebar. Starksson was extremely confident with his submission. He even taunts Lesnar before cranking his leg. Lesnar taps out with the pain. Another submission victory by Mr. Starksson!

Winner via Submission (Kneebar), Stalin Starksson!

I'm glad I'm seeing another Filipino rise. Caparas definitely made the Filipino people proud KO'ing every opponent that stands in his way. Caparas made a swift destruction of a formidable foe in Wingate. Wingate is no joke with a 4-1 record. Caparas showed that he is a versatile striker. He can KO you with a kick or a punch. Wingate was OK with all the beating he's receiving when all of a sudden Caparas unleashes a head kick that could KO a Tyrannosaurus Rex if it was his opponent. Wingate is lucky he's still alive after getting hit with one of those.

Winner via KO (Head Kick), Danilo Caparas!

When both fighters entered the ring in this fight nothing was certain. It's either Knox was getting a win on the ground or Brickowski was getting a KO but there's one thing that's sure in this fight. One of these two fighters will be going home with a loss. Brickowski wasn't letting that happen tonight. He was throwing shots with bad intentions behind them. Brickowski just needed 3 shots to put Knox away. Brickowski was wonderful countering Knox takedowns with some nasty shots. Brickowski knocked out Knox with a counter punch that connects perfectly to Knox's jaw. Brickowski goes home with his undefeated record and another KO in his resume.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Marco Brickowski!

Flugentaggen knows he was not going to win the fight if it was going to be a stand up brawl so he was looking to take Crixius down but he was just too predictable to be able to successfully take Crixius down. He was just spamming takedowns that's why he was stuffed all the time. Crixius would be proud with his performance in this fight. He was really looking for the finish. He even gambled to finish the fight going to the ground with Flugentaggen. After the fight was stood up, Crixius finished the fight with a powerful combination that put out Flugentaggen.

Dos Equis is one scary guy. He has been putting everyone to sleep. It's like his hands has some kind of sleeping powder on them. This fight it's like he's in a hurry or something. He put Minat in just 21 seconds. He landed all his shots to the head of Minat. The final shot (an overhand right) finished Minat. He was unable to defend himself after that shot landed.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), The Dos Equis Guy!

MAIN EVENT

I'm surprised Sardiini didn't go for a takedown in this fight. Clearly Oquendo's weakness was in the ground. His two losses was from submissions. Maybe Sardiini thought he could stand with Oquendo. Maybe it's the wrong strategy but I like people who has the balls to stand with another striker. Although he definitely payed the price with this strategy, I take my hat off for showing he has some guts. The fight went to the second round. I wasn't surprised with the outcome of the fight when i saw Sardiini was getting mauled in the first round. I was thinking it was a matter of time before his brains gave in to the battering it was recieving from Oquendo. In the second round Sardiini was hurt with a combination from Oquendo. I knew Oquendo was going to end this fight with a bang. He unleashes his favorite head kick that crumples Sardiini to the floor. He follows him with more strikes that forces the referee to stop the fight.

Built 2 Last 35: Millencolin

It's a great time to be following Built 2 Last as the organization has been steadily climbing up the Montreal fight scene. Currently sitting in sixth, we can only imagine it getting even bigger as the exciting talent on board will attract more fighters and more fans. More proof that we're growing? We'll be at the bigger Hayashi's Lounge for B2L 35, an event that should offer another exciting nights anchored by Peter Just trying to work his way to regaining his belt. Let's see if he can.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

185 Ironman "Killer" Gab versus Mick "The Punisher" Audet

Their generic nicknames as underwhelming as their performance since joining the organization, "Killer" Gab and "The Punisher" Audet need this win to break even. It'll be interesting to see if Gab utilizes the same strategy of takedowns in his last win as Audet has shown submission prowess in his wins. My prediction: Audet by submission.

155 Greg "Maniac" Huges versus Jason Bourne

Whatever skills Greg Huges possess have been overshadowed by his struggles with the weight cut. Two fights in a row he's struggled to make weight, it's shown in his fight performance. Newcomer Jason Bourne may find himself with an easy win over an exhausted opponent. My prediction: Bourne by TKO.

170 George St pierre versus Charlisson "Charizard" Rousseff

Fighting for his job may propel St pierre to his first back to back win streak since joining B2L. On paper, fighting an opponent in "Charizard" Rousseff who has lost three straight outside of the org may even inspire confidence. But looking at his opponents in those losses should snap him back to reality as they were all quality fighters. My prediction: Rousseff by TKO.

185 Fabrice Prince versus Harry Hammer

I hope Prince has been working on his takedown defense for his debut fight against Harry Hammer. Hammer likes takedowns, and too many highlights involve Prince absorbing punishment from his back. He showed a glimmer of hope in his last win, notching a submission which could happen Friday night. My prediction: Prince by TKO.

155 Rico Olivarez versus PierreLuc Beaulieu

PierreLuc deserves credit for having the fortitude to survive such a depressing stretch in B2L. It would be an epic story of redemption if he rebuilds his career by somehow keeping the fight standing to use his striking advantage against Rico Olivarez. Too much time on the ground will extend his free fall at the hands of a brown belt. My prediction: Olivarez by submission.

265 Jake "The Spider" Batungbakal versus "Nature Boy" Jaques Cousteau

Another fight that will be determined by where the fight goes, "The Spider" hopes he can stay on his feet against a barely adequate striker in "Nature Boy." The opposite is true for Cousteau a ground and pounder with an advantage in the grappling realm. My prediction: Cousteau by decision.

265 Kanu "Crazzy" Mitzucuik versus Iskar "Whiskeyjack" Jarak

Sometimes, I just want a stand up war with small gloves. The loud thwack on jaws is hard to beat. It's even better when two heavyweights like "Crazzy" and "Whiskeyjack" go at it. They're both boxers that have knockout resumes looking too add another head to the count. My prediction: Mitzucuik by TKO.

185 Jaws Bilo versus Harry "Tamayo" Villegas

Two undefeated fighters will enter the ring, only one will leave that way. A sprawl and brawler in Jaws Bilo will hope he can keep it on his feet against brown belt ground ace Harry Villegas. The ability to finish the fight as soon as it his horizontal is why I think "Tamayo" has the edge. My prediction: Villegas by submission.

Co-Main Event

265 Benoit "La Loi" Giguere versus Michal "Złamas" Nielamliwy

Add a new face to the heavyweight roster, Benoit "La Loi" Giguere looks to enforce his own law by a language everyone can speak, the law of his fists. While he probably prefers to strike on his feet, he's shown an ability to use takedowns to keep his opponent off balance. That's not a smart plan against submission ace Nielamliwy who would love to see the fight go down. Giguere's best bet is obviously to keep it striking but even there Nielamliwy has been improving. My prediction: Nielamliwy by submission.

Main Event

185 Lu Bu versus Peter "The Anaconda" Just

A fitting end to the night, sprawl and brawler through and through Lu Bu, may do something to former middleweight champion Peter Just, that no other opponent has done. Finish him. Aside from a submission loss, Bu has finished six other opponents by first round TKO. But the crafty Just has faced elite strikers before, he's shown an uncanny ability to manage the fight well enough to keep the fight on the ground, his own elite domain. Whoever wins here, we could be looking at top contendor or at least someone who will be fighting for that honor. My prediction: Just by decision.

Built 2 Last 36: Hook em up Son

The 36th event in the organization's history could have easily been called The Grappler versus Striker event. It will unofficially hold that title as a high number of brown belts or other ground-oriented fighters hope a takedown or two will land against some serious high octane strikers. As any experienced fan knows, these type of fights lead to fireworks regardless of where the fight ends up. So stay tuned.

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

155 Tony Corner versus "Senor Sexy" Rodrigo De La Renta

Tony Corner and Rodrigo De La Renta kick off the night's action with what should be an all striking affair. Primarily a boxer, Tony has used a takedown or two in the past which could help neutralize the Muay Thai skills of "Senor Sexy." My prediction: Corner by TKO.

185 Eyepun Chiewout versus Jeff "Ulick" MaGee

If this match followed K1 rules, we'd be talking about a slaughter at the hands of Eyepun Chiewout. But there are takedowns and submissions available, tools "Ulick" will need to neutralize his opponent's striking prowess. My prediction: Chiewout by TKO.

185 Junior De Gonzales versus Nathan "Crusher" Matos

Two fighters coming off losses that suddenly halted their searing momentum, battle to get back on the middleweight train. One shouldn't overlook that both lost to legitimate contenders like Lu Bu and Gaule Crixius. I expect an all out battle on the feet to prove their last fights were flukes. My prediction: De Gonzales by decision.

185 Kick "Kickflip" Flip versus Timber Lake

Kick Flip needs a win bad to stop his surprising free fall since starting his career 4-0. Timber Lake on the hand, has been rising after two straight wins. If he can keep the fight standing, it should be three straight. My prediction: Flip by submission.

170 Marcos "The Anaconda" Duarte versus Guillaume "Speedy" Steckels

Marcos "The Anaconda" Duarte, a serious brown belt grappler makes his MMA debut against 3-0 B2L newcomer Guillaume "Speedy" Steckles. New faces though they be, their matchup is a very familiar grappler versus striker matchup. My prediction: Duarte by submission.

170 Reyes "Braulio" Zayas versus Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter VIII

Continuing the brown belt theme, "Braulio" could chain a fourth submission win against "The Cannibal." Lecter could do what three others couldn't by keeping the fight standing long enough to expose Zayas' striking deficiencies. My prediction: Zayas by submission.

205 Peter Vulture versus Dwayne "Bang" Howard

If you want fireworks and fisticuffs, this next fight contains a high concentration of both which should lead to an explosion of action. Both heavy handed with a penchant for striking, one of these guys will be sleeping or crying uncle at the end of the night. My prediction: Vulture by TKO.

205 "The Grim Reaper" Gary Moskavony versus FkYou "InTheAHole" WithMyDik

Perhaps the chance of revenge will spur Gary Moskavony from his fourth straight loss after starting his career with four straight wins. He'll face the owner of probably the most obnoxious name in the world, takedown grinder FkYou "InTheAHole" WithMyDik. Expect some deja vu. My prediction: WithMyDik by decision.

Co-Main Event

205 Ricky "Americanzi" Stanzi versus Dennis "Cutty" Carcetti

Just to highlight the night's unofficial theme, another brown belt Ricky Stanzi faces Dennis Carcetti. "Americanzi" has reeled off two impressive wins with one against Miganzo displaying an improved ability to deal with strikers. He'll need it against "Cutty" a serious striker that revealed some meaning to his nickname, leaving his last opponent a bloody mess. Can Stanzi show he finally figured out how to deal with elite strikers? My prediction: Carcetti by TKO.

Main Event

170 "The Paraguayan Lion" Roque Barretto versus "El Fitcho" Cosas Muy Malas

More new talent gussies up for the main event to announce their arrival into Built 2 Last with as much noise as possible. They continue the striker and grappler trend as "The Paraguayan Lion" can throw some lethal punches and kicks with a strong wrestling foundation to avoid being taken down. "El Fitcho" has a purple belt which when combined with his wonderful wrestling allows him to take the fight horizontal. Whoever can take and keep the fight to their strengths will win and find their names tossed into the welterweight elites. My prediction: Barretto by decision.

(B2L) 35: Millencolin

Bilo vs. Villegas

As Mr. Lee said if this fight goes to the ground it will be pretty much done for Bilo. And at the very opening seconds of the fight Bilo got taken down. In the ground Bilo was so outclassed he couldn’t do anything against Villegas. Villegas was peppering and working his way to a submission victory or a GnP TKO. Everybody thought Villegas was going to get a submission win and if he didn’t get Bilo to the ground his face was gonna get smashed. When the fight went to the 2nd round I thought Bilo could get this one but Villegas surprised us when he rocked Bilo with a powerful right from the mount position.Bilo tried to defend from the barrage of attacks but when Villegas saw him covering up and he instantly poured in more shots that stopped the fight. Villegas walks out an undefeated fighter in this one.

Winner via TKO (Strikes), Harry Villegas!

CO-MAIN EVENT

Giguere vs. Nielamliwy

B2L newcomer Giguere goes against B2L veteran Nielamliwy. This fight will be very exciting. Both fighters are capable of finishing fights in an instant. Giguere is a very versatile fighter that can end a fight in either KO or Submission while Nielamliwy can rip your arm off if he gets you on the ground. It was a very good 1st round for Giguere, he was clearly looking to put Nielamliwy to sleep. He head hunting for the get go and was stuffing takedowns. In the second round the fight was dominated again by Giguere. Giguere was connecting shots and controlling the fight until Nielamliwy finally got him to the ground. Nielamliwy was hunting for limbs on the ground but Giguere showed great defensive grappling. By the third round both fighters were really tired. Nielamliwy was successful again with a takedown but couldn’t capitalize on the opportunity to finish Giguere. In the end Giguere controlled where the fight will take place and implemented his plan leading to his decision victory.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Beniot Giguere!

MAIN EVENT

As my brother would always say "There's always a first time for something" and this definitely was a first time for Just. Bu is the first person to TKO Peter Just. Just has faced some great fighters but he has never fought someone as good as Bu. Bu, is a world class boxer who has great takedown defense. Those two stats gave big trouble for Just. Bu took the fight into the clinch where he was able to control Just. He was able to negate Just's takedown attempts in the clinch while peppering Just's face into pulp. Just was getting hammered in the clinch. He had no answers from the attacks Bu was dishing out. By the 3 minute mark it was about time that Just jaw gave in. Bu clips Just with a monstrous hook that crumples Just to the floor. Bu follows him to the floor and finishes the fight. Get ready Oquendo! Here comes Lu Bu!

Usually we are fooled when a fighter in the ground is more aggressive and throws submissions at his opponent, we think he is winning the fight right? Not, if you just keep on looking for submissions and has no control of the ground game you'll definitely lose unless you secure a submission and make your opponent tap. This clearly the case for Zayas. He was active on the ground and was clearly looking to submit Lecter but Zayas just couldn't control him. On the other hand Lecter was fairly good in the striking department where he was connecting with some kicks and punches. Other than that the fight was on the ground. Zayas could've won this one if he controlled Lecter in the fight. In the end Zayas just couldn't capitalize on the ground Lecter VIII won this just because he won in the standup department.

Winner via Unanimous Decision, Hannibal Lecter VIII!

========================================================================================================================================================

Standing up these two guys are equal. But their KO power is definitely not. Vulture was countering everytime Howard makes a mistake. Vulture was getting the better of the stand up when Howard rocked him with a powerful combination. Howard then follows it up with a powerful right that ends the fight with a bang. What a turn around. I thought Howard was getting creamed then Howard got that right that connects straight into Vulture's chin. Now guys, here's a tip. Always be careful against a fighter with KO power. One minute you're dominating him the next thing you know you're in the hospital with a broken jaw. Great win for Howard.

Winner via KO(Punch), Dwayne Howard!

========================================================================================================================================================

CO-MAIN EVENT

Carcetti definitely put some fireworks in his debut in B2L. He made a statement that he's a definite contender in the LHW division. Stanzi was like a punching bag in the receiving end of those kicks and punches. Stanzi was desperately trying to land a takedown while receiving numerous shots from Carcetti. Despite getting knocked down in the opening seconds of the round. Stanzi tried his best in winning against the monster Carcetti. Carcetti then put the final nail in the coffin when he landed a brutal head kick that put Stanzi to a peaceful sleep. Another KO to Carcetti's record.

Winner via KO (Head Kick), Dennis Carcetti!

MAIN EVENT

Barretto was determined to win this fight. He was winning the stand up in this fight. Muy Malas was persistently trying to take him down but he was not successful. He was able to take Barretto down in the last minute of the first round. Barretto was putting a striking clinic on Muy Malas. Muy Malas was almost finished in the second round he got rocked bad from a head kick that Barretto landed. Luckily Muy Malas' legs didn't gave in. Muy Malas barely survived the second round. In the third Muy Malas made drastic turn around on the fight. Malas got Barretto in his territory. After being mauled by Barretto in the first two round this his chance to win the fight. He definitely capitalized in it. His first submission for the 3rd round would be his last. He got it secured and made Barretto tap. A great display of heart by Muy Malas. He turned this loss into a submission win. Great fight!

Built 2 Last 37: Steeljaw Incorporated

Sounding like a company that would make a killing in the fight game, "Steeljaw Incorporated" is the name of B2L 37. In fact, every fighter in the org would do well to have this product installed on their chins because some of the nastiest brain-rattling shots happen under our company banner. It'll be more of the same Friday night especially because welterweight champion Beautiful Boxer looks to make his third title defense against top contender Dean Perry. But will Perry finally break the streak?

All fights will take place in a ring and be judged by the ten point must system.

Here's the rundown:

155 Mark MacLeod versus Jake Foster

We start the night with two weathered 27 year old veterans coming off multiple losses in a row; we've seen Mark MacLeod before but Jake Foster is a B2L newcomer. They're both rather similar but I'm giving the edge to the fresh face. My prediction: Foster by decision.

155 Pierce "The Fourth Judge" Russell versus Mike Darter

A bit of a jack of all trades, Mike Darter will need to be unpredictable to beat a respectable fighter like Pierce Russell. If he stays too long in one realm especially in the standup, it'll be a long or short night depending on the strength of his chin. My prediction: Russell by decision.

170 Roger "Schlong" Guido versus George "Rush" St Pierre

It's a little depressing looking at the records of the two fighters involved in this one. Regardless, someone has to win and while I'd normally side with B2L fighters when they face newbies, I'm wary of St Pierre's conditioning. My prediction: Guido by decision.

170 Pepito Manalotto versus "Testy" Bustin Balls

Depending on where this fight ends up, one fighter will feel like he's facing a high schooler who accidently stumbled into a martial arts academy. If it becomes a striking bout, Manalotto might as well be fighting some weekend warrior. If the fight becomes a grappling war, Balls will feel like he's rolling with a white belt which Manalotto actually is. My prediction: Manalotto by TKO.

265+ Jacky "Chinchansoo" Wong versus Ricardo Brown

Jacky Wong, a BJJ brown belt, will face Ricardo Brown, a blue belt, albeit one with a strong wrestling base. Normally, I'd say the fight would end up on the ground with a tense struggle of wrestling and submissions. But if Brown plays it smart, he might try to use a slight boxing advantage to strike his way to a win. My prediction: Brown by decision.

205 "Ugly" Joe Lambert versus Mike Frazier

Not big fans of kicking, Joe Lambert and Mike Frazier typically like to punch people to win. At least, that's where their strengths lie and lucky for us, they'll fight each other to prove it. If either has been working on their kicks, this fight would be the place to test it as both have struggled with kick first fighters. My prediction: Frazier by TKO.

155 Max "Well" House versus Barney Ross

Losing his title had to hurt Max House especially because of the way he lost it, being taken down and submitted like a kid rolling on the mat for the first time. Well you gotta start the road back somewhere and he gets a rough test in a trap match against Barney Ross. Ross doesn't have much experience but he's a strong wrestler who could either rebuild House's confidence in the ground game or further destroy it. My prediction: House by submission.

205 Alarcon "The Traitor" Ramirez versus Rado "Razor" McDonald

If the fight lives past the first round, "Razor" will have survived longer than all of "The Traitor's" opponents. They typically succumb rather quickly to the ground prowess of the brown belt. McDonald hopes his kicks will take the spring out of his opponent's takedowns as a standing kickboxing match suits him best. Whoever can get the fight into their area of strength will be looking at an impressive four fight win streak. My prediction: Ramirez by TKO.

Co-Main Event

205 Bruce "Chainsaw" Campbell versus Marcus "Terminator" Green

We get to chow down an a hearty appetizer before the main dish as two fighters with a combined 13-1 record butt heads. Just to make your mouth water a bit more, these guys like to strike, and strike hard; only five of their fights have gone to decision. "Terminator" should be recognizable to most B2L viewers but "Chainsaw" will be making his debut in the org by trying to protect his undefeated streak. While the winner probably could stake a claim in the future for the 205 elite, most fans will be happy just to see some fists and feet whizzing around the ring. And if the fight for some reason hits the floor, Campbell has a severe jits advantage with a brown belt to Green's white. My prediction: Campbell by TKO.

Main Event: 170lb Title Fight

170 Beautiful Boxer versus Dean Perry

Takedown and grappling heavy Dean Perry gets his second shot at winning the welterweight title from current champion Beautiful Boxer. The first meeting was not pleasant for him as he lost in the first round by TKO, unable to take the fight to the ground. More than two months of training and two decision wins later, he's hoping the second meeting will show he can beat Boxer if the fight hits the ground. The ground is where Beautiful took the fight in his last fight, a non-title one against Moon Nam Sip, which ended in a not too surprising submission loss. Barring unusual game plans or mental mistakes, Boxer will probably try to replicate the same face-smashing in the clinch or stand up and hope to hell the fight never goes horizontal. My prediction: Boxer by TKO.

Built 2 Last 38: Highway to Hell

A fighter's life is definitely not all rainbows and unicorns. In fact, I don't think you could find even one instance of either in the hundreds of MMA gyms around the globe. Well, there's a chance a perfectly timed spray of sweat from a punch or takedown could hit the light at just the right angle for a glimmer of a rainbow. I don't know where I'm going with this but maybe it's because I'm giddy about another great Sunday card that will happen in front of 2000 hyper B2L fans. I'll calm down just a bit so we can go through them. Just make sure not to miss it because we've got a heavyweight title fight going down.

All fights will take place in a cage and be judged by the whole fight.

Here's the rundown:

155 "Glass" Chin Po versus To "Twister" Blake

Coming off a victory over gatekeeper Mark MacLeod, Chin Po gets a chance to test his takedown and submission defense in the night's opening fight. "Twister" will need more performances like his latest kimura win over Rico Olivarez to show he can put his brown belt to use in MMA. My prediction: Blake by submission.

155 Tommy "The Samurai" Avila versus Anthony "Magik" Kiedis

The next fight also at lightweight should showcase two strikers several notches above the fighters before them. Both Tommy Avila and Anthony Kiedis tend to keep their fights striking affairs both at range and in the clinch. That said, don't be surprised if the two decide to test their purple and brown belt grappling skills either. My prediction: Kiedis by decision.

170 "The Animal" Anthony Santiago versus Leo "Lsd" St Denis

As much as I'd like to think every fighter can have his day, I'm struggling to see where "The Animal" can take this fight to his advantage. "Lsd" bests him in almost every category but the color of his BJJ belt which is probably Santiago's only shot. My prediction: St Denis by TKO.

170 Georges St Pierre versus Hugo "The Lokomotive" Trainner

Georges St Pierre will need to do everything in his power to keep his fight against Hugo Trainner vertical. It'll be a challenge as "The Lokomotive" has taken down every opponent he's faced with ease, although that hasn't necessarily guaranteed a victory, his last fight being a sub loss. My prediction: Trainner by TKO.

185 Alain "Coco" Martel versus Jack Mistigris

Two fighters that are probably a little tired of being taken down, Alain Martel and Jack Mistigris must be relieved to find an opponent to stand and bang. This match-up should showcase their willingness to scrap but hopefully they're training some grappling on the side to ensure their futures in MMA beyond Sunday. My prediction: Mistigris by decision.

205 Colton Washington versus Gordy "Td" Nennigs

A Muay Thai clinch grinder at heart, Gordy Nennigs faces dual threat boxer and ground and pounder Colton Washington. Washington could keep the fight standing and test his boxing but a quick takedown could seal an easy win for him in his B2L debut. My prediction: Washington by decision.

265 Brolly "Brawler" Zantael versus "Captain Spaulding" Johnny Lee Jons

There's not much tape on Johnny Lee Jons especially considering his only fight didn't get to show what style of fighter he is as it ended in a minute. If his first fight is an indication, it's easy to tell where Brolly Zantael likes to take his fights. A trip to to the clinch is likely in "Captain Spaulding's" future. My prediction: Zantael by TKO.

265 Poncho "Tinku" Rojo versus "Hype" Oleg Sladkov

One of the rare true black belts in Built 2 Last, "Tinku" usually finds himself in a grappler versus striker matchup. It's not any different this night as he faces a boxer Oleg Sladkov. While he's working on his grappling, it's rather obvious that he likes to punch people because he wins every fight by KO or TKO. My prediction: Rojo by submission.

Co-Main Event

170 Luke Withers versus Rosa "Bloody Rosa" Luxemburg

I'm almost as excited for this fight as I am for the main event. These two project to collide with serious momentum as both own three fight win streaks, three finishes no less, one KO or two TKO's for Withers and three first round submissions for Luxemburg. A safe bet the fight will hit the mat, Withers' will probably take "Bloody Rosa" down with ease. The question is whether he can do enough damage as trying to ground and pound against the brown belt is like trying to grab a meal from a pit full of snakes. The battle should be highly technical, tense, and exciting! My prediction: Withers by decision.

Main Event: 265lb Title Fight

265 Dutch "Long" Hand versus "The Gentleman" Nigel York

And then we come to the main event, the big boys will battle for the strap to cap off another great night of fights. Striking technician Nigel York makes his first title defense after dismantling Avtomat Kalashnikov for five rounds. But while we know he can strike for days and make even veteran boxers look silly, we haven't seen his grappling tested yet. Admittedly that's a testament to his ability to keep the fight standing but also the types of opponent's he's faced. Dutch "Long" Hand is a ground and pounder through and through. He probably realizes if the fight doesn't hit the ground that he's doomed to lose. But a slip or a nicely timed shot would put the champion in uncharted territory, a situation that many MMA fans would like to see just for curiosity's sake. My prediction: York by TKO.

Ramirez vs. McDonald

If you're looking at both of the fighter's record, it was a suicide match for McDonald. McDonald definitely has some issues in his ground game as his only loss was a submission. His opponent on the other hand has been collecting limbs from his opponents in his last 3 fights. Ramirez has been submitting people in the first round and this fight was no different. Before the one minute mark of the fight Ramirez took down McDonald and he was working his way to a submission. When McDonald was trying to escape an arm triangle, Ramirez then transitioned to an armbar which he secured firmly. MacDonald tried to wriggle out the armbar but Ramirez was never letting go of the arm. McDonald taps from the armbar. Another first round submission win for Ramirez.

CO-MAIN EVENT

Campbell vs. Green

Entering this fight we all know we are going to see someone getting KTFO'ed. Both fighters have more than 60% KO percentage going into the fight. 5 of them in the first round. In the fight the fighters didn't disappoint specially Campbell. He didn't give Green a hair of a chance. He avoided Green's strikes with ease and finished him swiftly. Campbell knocked Green down with a looping right hand that made his eyes look crazy. Green tried to retaliate with a body kick but Campbell counters him with a head kick that sends him to the floor. Campbell then presses with more strikes that prompted the referee to stop the fight. Great striking showed by Campbell.

MAIN EVENT

When this first two met Perry got mauled in the clinch by boxer. The first fight only lasted over a minute and we found Perry sleeping on the mat after getting in the clinch with Boxer. In their second time out Perry definitely made some changes in his game plan. He dominated Perry on the ground with some submissions and GNP. He won the first round and when the 2nd round came. It was like deja vu. He found himself clinching against Boxer again. He was eating punches until he got rock. Then he was rocked by another short hook that dropped him. Instantly when he dropped Boxer throws a flurry of punches that finishes Perry. Perry must be frustrated. Boxer is the only person to beat him in the org. and he has KO'ed perry twice.
