Some questions on K1 option

i like option 1, but if it's going to be really hard to work with option 2 is good too.

however, i have a question regarding option 2. what if an org chooses not to have any k-1 fights at all? the way i read this

2. Allow orgs to run both types of event but each one event is all the same format. We could then have separate MMA and kickboxing rankings for orgs. An individual org could be ranked in both formats. If we did this, we'd make the org hype decay slowly in both, so that you need to keep active in both aspects to maintain your org ranking. The diminishing returns would be combined and look at both types, for a joint value, so you couldn't really dominate both.

is that if an org chose not to have any k-1 fights that they would in effect be penalized by their hype slowly decaying more than an org that holds events for both mma and k-1. am i understanding this correctly?

grappling organization was an idea I had about a possible organization to run.. but after some research I found there wasnt enough people wanting to do all ground/clinch to try and risk running an org of that type

Yeah KB might have worked better. Ah well, it's pretty much all done now anyway, so it's staying as KT :)

No plans for just ADCC or boxing just yet. I think that they'd probably be a bit thin on content but who knows... maybe we'll just have specialist tournaments that people can enter instead.

Will there be any kind of differental on the roster should an Org decide to host both kind of fights? Or is it something we will just have to note ourselves, not that its a big deal, just curious

will this fully restrict people from trying takedowns?

And in real K-1 you aren't allowed to clinch lol

Will there be a Sub Grappling League? Disappoint...it is pretty much already K-1 tycoon, top p4p fighters are strikers with defensive grappling, you can't tango at the high level as a grappler with defensive striking

maybe I'll have to make a grappling org lol

Have been reading on Sherdog that there are rules being sanctioned for combat BJJ fights that allow striking on the ground. Maybe this is something that someone could have a try with.
