SFC 57: Demitri vs. Jody

21.06.2014

Hard Knocks (3,000)

Los Angeles

MMA

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Rukah Padero v Albert Ward

In first tonight’s event, we will watch two American young fighters: 22 years old BJJ black belt from Chicago- Rukah Padero, and 21 years old fighter from Cincinnati Ohio- ‘The Assassin’ Albert Ward. First of them seems to be quite clear favorite in this fight. As they say: ‘In MMA you can KO your opponent or submit him’, and unfortunately Ward doesn’t look to be good in any of those. And Padero is one of the most skilled BJJ specialists in the world.

Undercard

Heavyweight Bout

Kullervo Koljatti v Alexander Smith

In the only heavyweight bout during tonight’s event, we will see two 26 years old fighters: Finn from Espoo, still making his first steps in professional cage- Kullervo ‘Mammoth’ Koljatti, and experienced boxer from Los Angeles- Alexander ‘The Heavy Lander’ Smith. ‘The Heavy Lander’ is known from his great striking skills and spectacular fights, experience is on his side, the question is now will Koljatti finally show his skills? During trainings and sparrings he is showing outstanding level, but when he steps into the cage with opponent, who wants to rip his heart off his chest- he disappoints.

Undercard

Light Heavyweight Bout

Milos Dragan v Vahan Karamyenyan

In another preliminary card’s fight we will see two solid 23 years old fighters- Croatian from Viskovo- Milos ‘The Gladiator’ Dragan, and Armenian derived from Hrazdan- Vahan ‘Nimrod’ Karamyenyan. Both of them always try to win their fights before time, but also nearly always when they let judges decide- they lose. Dissapointing Croatian lastly has ended his tragical losing streak and now has hopes to raise in glory- and Armenian fighter is great opportunity for him to finally appear in flashes. For ‘Nimrod’ it will be tough fight, as it will be hard to dominate Dragan standing and also on the ground, until he will put him on his back. One seems to be sure- fighters looks quite equal, hopefully this will lead us to get good fight.

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Nate Diaz v Nikita Klitschko

Another fight of dissapointing 23 years old fighters with great skills: derived from Stockton, United States- Nate Diaz, will face Nikita Klitschko from Belarussian capital city- Minsk. We are right that we have big expectations for this fight. It can be played well in every area, but Klitschko seems like someone, who wouldn’t like to end on his back facing Diaz. And while American can even look for pulling guard, being on the top doesn’t mean for Klitschko, that he has advantage. And this is what Nate Diaz should be looking for, while standing it can go both ways.

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Cooper Maclean Rooke v Galu Li

Another fight, the same expectations- 23 years old Australian from Sydney- ‘Super’ Cooper Maclean Rooke, will be fighting against 24 years old Chinese from Galian- Galu ‘Muffin’ Li.But this time we have a little weaker- but still skilled strikers, who prefers to fight on the ground, and especially Galu Li’s black BJJ belt, which seems to be key factor in tonight’s fight. ‘Super’ in his previous Ws was waiting for judges’ decision, but tonight he gets fighter, who can make that waiting disastrous.

Main Card

Bantamweight Bout

Jaxon Robert Campbell v Daniel Francisco

In first fight of tonight’s Main Card, we will be spectating bantamweight division fight. 23 years old Englishman striker from London- Jaxon Robert ‘JR’ Campbell, who will face 22 years old Brazilian grappler from Cabo Frio- Daniel ‘Demolition’ Francisco. Big height advantage is on Francisco’s side, but it’s Campbell, who will be looking to stay out. But when ‘Demolition’ will finally manage to take English cockroach to the ground, he should be able to submit him.

Main Card

Lightweight Bout

Neptune Loveladdy v Aflatun Hasanov

In next fight of this night, we will witness fight of 23 years old Neptun ‘Poseidon’ Loveladdy derived from The Galactic Core, United States, and 24 years old Azerbaijani brawler from Ganja- Aflatun ‘The Scientist’ Hasanov. While Loveladdy can quite easily find solution for his opponent’s in every area, in this one he will be surely trying to stay away from the ground. This is clear recipe for tonight’s win for him. But unfortunately it won’t be easy, as Hasanov is world class wrestler, who has mastered also grappling skills, and I think that it puts him as favorite of this fight. ‘Poseidon’ must go for KO, but first of all stay cold, maybe then he will manage to get something from it.

Main Card

Light Heavyweight Bout

Jacques Don Pierre v Defer Taite

In last fight before Main Events fights of the night, to cage will step in two veterans: 30 years old Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro- ‘Car Jack’ Jacques Don Pierre, will encounter 29 years old Canadian from Halifax- ‘Resilient’ Defer Taite. While Taite can score some points with striking, Don Pierre surely won’t be looking for exchange with his average striking skills. He is world class grappler and he knows that as good as we and his opponent. And that difference between fighters should result in W for Jacques Don Pierre.

Co-Main Event

Lightweight Bout

Dark Hunter v Chinzo Machida

Great upcoming Co-Main Event of the night: 22 years old Briton from Hunter- Dark Hunter, will fight against also 22 years old Japanese fighter from Belem- Chinzo ‘Dragão’ Machida. And here we should prepare for spectacular striking show between two Silent Fighting Championship’s debutants. It’s very tough to say anything about this bout, as both participants are very equal, quite similar talented strikers. However Dark Hunter in his past managed to be more stable, more dependable and could better handle the pressure in important fights, and this is way I would point at him as tonight’s favorite.

Main Event

Lightweight Championship Bout

Demitri Borschtanoff v Jody Felterbush

And here comes Main Event of the Night, also Lightweight Division Championship Belt fight, fight between two great 22 years old talents, who prove their outstanding skills every time they step into professional cage. Actual Champion, already SFC Hall of Famer, derived from Tiraspol, Moldova- Demitri ‘The Bear’ Borschtanoff. And his opponent: ex-Champion of Dominance Organization, coming from Philadelphia, United States- Jody Felterbush. While Moldavian Champion can keep this fight running and scoring in every area, American is always looking for taking fight to the ground. But unfortunately, his tonight’s opponent seems to have all what will be needed to outscore Felterbush even in his biggest strengths. We are calling Borschtanoff Champion now, and I think that we will still name him Champion after this fight.

'Win whipped from his throat! Hell Yeah! I can't even describe how happy i am! It was very tough, i was surprised with Ongka Ongka's confidence and also about his skills. I have trained really really hard, i was sure of my skills, but he could just control me there. Hopefully he finally showed some balls and looked me into face. And that was his mistake- he broke his gameplan and let me go on fire and in effect he went down all cold! Yeah! First two rounds just went away, but in third i made it happen, just when it came to Real Man's Fight! And what's my next step? Title shot, i hope. ' -Pedro Aristides Leopoldo, winner in tonight's Fight of the Night awarded fight.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/manager_avatars/1401813989Antonio.jpg

'We are delighted and absolutely proud after last night's fight of Pedro Aristides Leopoldo. We had some concerns about this fight, we were trying to cover Ongka's advantages, try to keep it standing as much as possible. We were definitely satisfied with job we have done before this fight, but unfortunately Ongka has shown us from very first round, that there is still much work to do. Maybe Our gameplan got thrown in the trash, but Pedro is great man, with very big heart and powerful will. And he has shown it tonight. He got just one opportunity after uphill 10 minutes, but he rose on the occasion, and took the W with vicious KO. This is why we love this sport. Pedro Aristides Leopoldo has shown once again that he is absolute emblem of Mixed Martial Arts and how Real Fighter should look like and what he should present. In addition, i'm very happy that this fight was named Fight of the Night, as it's probably the best fight i ever saw. I've never been so proud with my fighter before. He really loves to fight and hopefully he will got his title shot fight and fulfill his ambitions and dreams' -Petro Sohitto, Pedro Aristides Leopoldo's manager.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/8/8w15.jpg

'I was sure about Pedro's ground skills- we gave many hours of sweat to be sure, that Pedro can defend well and look for his own opportunity to take the W. Watching tonight's fight i was a little afraid, as maybe there wasn't happening anything seriously dangerous in first two rounds, but Ongka Ongka had dominating positions for whole time. He is great fighter, but i'm not exactly sure, is it who i imagine when asked about MMA fighter image. You can be great grappler, but Pedro has shown very well the difference of being good in one discipline and being complete MMA Fighter.' -Krzysztof Ostrowski, one of Pedro Aristides Leopoldo's pre-fight sparringpartners

Jaxon Robert "JR" Campbell

So after a career in KT fighting against much bigger opponents, i have decided to expand my horizons and step into a MMA cage. My whole career i have been fighting guys bigger than myself and i have done pretty well for myself.

I had a few tuneup fights before signing with SFC and what better way to make my debut than against fellow debutant Daniel Francisco, better known as "Demolition." The difference? He's gonna want to take me down to the ground while i will be looking to knock him down.

Let's go baby!!

Main Card

Oh yeah, watch who you're calling cockroach. I may be small but i hit hard!

Moving on up!

SFC has just decided to go from a 210k ID restricted org to a 200k ID restricted org! This is a positive change that will help the org and it's fighters. SFC will continue to make strides and increase it's rankings locally and globally. SFC's top fighters will have a chance to move up in P4P rankings with tougher challengers. There's no better time to make this move than the present, the best is yet to come!

SFC 58 - Katkeroinen vs Petrycki

28.06.2014

Hard Knocks (3,000)

Los Angeles

MMA

Undercard

Featherweight Bout

Kevin Durant v Bruise Lee

The opening fight of tonight’s event, will be clash of two experienced warriors: 28 years old American- Kevin ‘KD’ Durant, and 29 years old Chinese from Kowloon Hong Kong- Bruise ‘The Kowloon Killer’ Lee. We should prepare for good grappling match, as both of those fighters won their past fights by submissions. But as long as you could maybe expect this from ‘KD’, that way of fighting by Lee was big surprise for everybody. And tonight maybe he would go back to his roots and try to destroy his opponent in stand up war? One seems to be pretty sure: when standing- ‘The Kowloon Killer’ should add one more victim to his serial killer’s notebook, but when on the ground- I think that Durant is the one with bigger chances to take the W.

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Avery Slone v Nathan Hayway

Second fight and one of bouts, which were causing us the biggest enthusiasm and made waiting terribly dragging on. The American fight of experienced, 28 years old grappler from Woodstock GA- Avery ‘Second Coming’ Slone, and one of big young talents- 21 years old Nathan ‘Naughty’ Hayway from Boston. As Slone will be doing everything to play this one on the ground, ‘Naughty’ can make waiting for opportunity make really hard for him. He is great stand up fighter, but also can fight on the ground very well. The question is, will his last mentioned area’s skills be enough for Slone, who is great grappler though?

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Roy Brandon v Freddy White

Again two Americans and again big expectances. 23 years old fighter from Los Angeles- Roy ‘Wonderboy’ Brandon, will face 20 years old Freddy White from SteelTown. Great boxing match- this is what we should expect looking at past fights of both of them. But we shouldn’t forget that they also have skills to play this fight in very different ways- and this is definition of making surprise to someone. But one is pretty sure- we shouldn’t expect great grappling game here. But what else can happen tonight? I think that if Brandon can do something- White can do it equally or better. But we will see…

Undercard

Bantamweight Bout

Ben Hur v Edson Jonas

Another very interesting fight of tonight’s event. We really love matchmakers, who were preparing Fight Card for us. Two 22 years old fighters, but with huge gulf in experience. Born in Utrecht, but fighting under Greek flag Ben Hur will stand in cage against Brazilian from Copacabana- Edson ‘Taliba’ Jonas. While Ben Hur has proven that he is really solid fighters- he won 10 out of his 17 professional MMA fights, Jonas has behind him only one fight, which he won. But what fight it was! He has started from Underdog position and submitted in very first round experienced Drew Pashik. And this is something, what we should consider before putting him on complete Underdog position once again. And Greek is another step to make, but this time much harder. Pashik is solid fighter, but Hur seems to be much much more demanding challenge, which can come in as too hard for still inexperienced Brazilian. But if taken to the ground- I think that ‘Taliba’ will know what to do. The question is ‘can he surprise experienced Greek?’

Undercard

Bantamweight Bout

Lil Jon v Mike Massa

A little breather for us at the end of Preliminary Card. Two solid fighters standing against each other: 21 years old Argentinian from Villa Crespo- Lil Jon and 24 years old Brazilian from Cabo Frio- Mike ‘Tonelada’ Massa. ‘Tonelada’ will be doing everything to stay away from Jon and outscore him from distance. And his boxing skills give him advantage to that, but Argentinian will be taking whatever it will come and wait for his craved takedown. And over there he will show us how great brawler he is. If we would make list of great brawlers in Organization- Jon should definitely appear on that list. And we must add, that he can also show some flair and submit his opponent without blink of an eye!

Main Card

Bantamweight Bout

Burer Mutant v Liam Ward

Once more two experienced fighters, but this time with big age difference. 29 years old Ukrainian from Pripyat- Burer Mutant, will face only 21 years old Liam ‘Legend’ Ward from Sheffield, England. Typical brawler will face one of greatest grapplers we saw, who can also strike very well. But it’s not about proving skills, it’s about taking advantage and winning it before opponent will even know what hit him. And this references to both fighters here. Mutant will try to KO Englisman without giving him opportunity to take him to the ground, what seems to be inevitable, and Ward will wait for opportunity to show what Black BJJ Belt means. And guided by experience- it’s wiser to point black belt owner as favorite.

Main Card

Lightweight Bout

John Murray v Hilton Teimosia

One of greatest fights prepared for tonight: 23 years old American from Las Vegas- John Murray, will be fighting against 22 years old Brazilian derived from Belo Horizonte- Hilton Teimosia. This is going to be war! Name anything and I will ensure You, that this two guys can do that. And they will do anything to prove how great warriors they are. But if we would try to look for any gaps or advantages- maybe Murray will finally do some usage with his brown belt? Sounds like recipe to take the W tonight, but looking at skills of those two- it can be minor factor. But in fights like this- any minor advantage counts.

Main Card

Middleweight Bout

Daiki Tanimoto v Belal Li

The last fight before Main Events. 21 years old Japanese from Osaka- Daiki ‘Yamada’ Tanimoto, will face 27 years old Chinsese from Dalian- Belal ‘The Prince’ Li. Interesting is the fact, that both of them won 8 fights. But the difference is that Tanimoto lost 3 and Li 7… Tonight sure thing is that ‘The Prince’ will have to stay focused, especially with his beloved clinching. It’s short way from there to land on the ground- without bigger difference for Tanimoto with who on top. And I would say, that there are two scenarios: in first Tanimoto keeps Li at the distance with his strong kicks waiting for scoring takedown, and in second he let’s Chineses to clinch and works out going to ground from there- if necessarily even by pulling it to the guard. Both scenarios ends with Yamada” ‘s win.

Co-Main Event

Lightweight Bout

Luigi Vercotti v Ray Lennox

After this fight, Los Angeles’ Hard Knocks’ mat will never be the same. I have mentioned before about list of greatest Ground’n’Pounders of Silent Fighting Championship? Those two are at absolute top of it. They are Himalaya of brawling. Fight for real man, during which every real man will feel like little kid waiting for bloodbath. Is it enough for You? No? Season it with relish of England-Scotland rivalry and we are already all out! Just try to don’t beat anyone on Your way to job today! Let those two guys fill Your primal instincts tonight on Hard Knocks Arena in Los Angeles. Two 21 years old great talents: British from East End- ‘Mamma Mia!’ Luigi Vercotti, will clash with Scottish Ray Lennox from Edinburgh. What will happen tonight? It’s hard to say anything, except that it must be bloody. Lennox may want to keep it standing a little bit before they will go all in, but they will try to hit, KO, submit, humiliate and bury each other in any known or even not known yet way.

Main Event

Bantamweight Championship

Jorma Katkeroinen v Bogdan Petrycki

And here comes The Main Event of the Night! Silent Fighting Championship’s Bantamweight Champoionship Belt Bout. Current Champion, 21 years old Finn from Laihia- ‘Vakeva’ Jorma Katkeroinen, will face 23 years old pretender from Warsaw, Poland- Bogdan ‘Wild Thing’ Petrycki’. If You are looking for fighter, who took flawless victories one after another- I say ‘Vakeva’ Katkeroinen. If You ask for best challenge for him- I say ‘Wild Thing’ Petrycki. Isn’t it a perfect Main Event? Katkeroinen is current Champion, but some MMA Fans still have some doubts about his true skills. Petrycki is his best opportunity to close the topic and let him crown himself as irrefutable Bantamweight Champion. And Petrycki maybe is pretender, but more advantages seems to be on his side. And to be honest? Maybe even all of them. He should dominate in every aspect, but we can’t forget, that ‘Vakeva’ is still owner of Championship Belt. But one thing is sure tonight- after this fight we will have True and Irrefutable Great Champion of Silent Fighting Championship’s Bantamweight Division.

Ben "The Question" Henley (222382)

After 3 losses in a row by getting myself knocked out, i have trained and trained myself to come back stronger than ever. I trained my butt off to see where i went wrong and hopefully i can adapt.

Gustav Ragnarson, you seem like a nice guy. Your last loss was against the champ while i am turning a 3 fight loss streak into a 3 fight win streak. I started off as a pure grappler but the guys at Gorilla Warfare MMA have really helped me to tighten up my defense and open up a whole new skill set i never knew i had.

Now, The Question is how will i beat you at SFC 59? Well don't bother training for any one technique, because even I haven't decided which way i will beat you.

Well, now that i have finally broken my 4 fight loss streak and finished washing Chris Chandler's blood off my elbow it looks like my rise to the top is back on track. Who am i facing again?

(looks at contract)

El... Eland... Flower...

(scrunches up paper and throws it away)

I can't even pronounce this, so i'm just gonna call you Chocolate Eclair. Choccie boy, watch the last fight i had as a sneak preview. Where would you like the first cut?

Benny Silver (210891)

First off i would like to congratulate the champ Chocolate Eclair for his victory tonight. I watched that fight very closely and i was very happy to see blood spilled on both fighters. Nothing makes me happier than to see bloody faces.

So Chocolate Eclair, or whatever your name is... I hope you arent too attached to that belt of yours. Because once i am finished slicing your face up I'm going to take your belt home.

Although even as he ages Le Fleur chooses to retain his usual silence, he will actually make a statement at some point in time since it is none other than the Butcher calling him out.

For now, since you seem a little less decisive than the previous battle, Le Fleur says you may want to try for the face again.

Oh, wow, Le Fleur just sent me a message via text for me to relay to you: "Sorry there Butcher. Even though you did take my belt from me in convincing fashion, it seems like you were indeed dreaming of dessert. Even I, the old Silent Frenchman, did not go on to lose four fights in a row, let alone two total since then."

Billy "The Kid" Silver (210892) <---- Benny "The Butcher" Silver's twin brother. KT fighter, a lot more friendlier, not signed with SFC :)

Dude, are you serious? You already fought him. You beat him last time and even paid respect to him. I think you've taken a few too many shots to the head since winning that belt.

Benny "The Butcher" Silver (210891)

Oh. (Pause) Well NO MATTER!! I'm gonna slice him up again and eat him for dinner. Did he not learn from last time? I'm gonna make him my bitch!! Gonna slice him! Dice him! Make him flow like chocolate like the Chocolate Eclair that he is!! Then I'm gonna cover the floor with his BLOOD!!! I'm gonna... (incoherant rambling)

SFC 59: Sackett vs. Aragon

05.07.2014

King Theatre (5,320)

Los Angeles

MMA

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Gimme Money v Martin Daskalov

In first Preiminary Card’s Fight of tonight’s Event, we will watch inexperienced 22 years old Canadian from Montreal- Gimme ‘Mo’ Money, who will face 28 years old Bulgarian from Sofia- Martin ‘Jackhammer’ Daskalov. It seems, that they key factor of first fight, can be experience. Much more experienced, but maybe disposing with quite similar set of skills as his 6 years younger opponent, Martin Daskalov will have to stay focused and keep it calm, as ‘Mo’ isn’t someone You can underestimate, even if he didn’t prove it yet.

Undercard

Middleweight Bout

Darios Ellis v Akira Sengoku

In second fight of tonight’s event, 20 years old American from Dallas- Darios Ellis, will be fighting against 22 years old Japanese Akira Sengoku, from Tokyo. Unfortunately for fans, it seems to be very easy fight on Sengoku’s way tonight, it is very probable, that Darios Ellis just doesn’t have anything to threaten his 2 years older opponent. Sengoku is clear favorite in this one, as he seems to be better in every area, and when adding to that poor Professional MMA Record of 3 wins and 10 losses handled by Ellis- it’s is very unlikely, that we will see surprise during this fight.

Undercard

Featherweight Bout

Jeremy Jenkins Jr v Ruslan Hagush

Third fight of Event, but here it becomes much more interesting. 21 years old Citizen of Philadelphia- Jeremy Jenkins Jr, will participate in fight with big fans’ expectations against Russian Ruslan ‘Snake’ Hagush, from St. Petersburg. Jenkins Jr maybe seems to have just a little weaker striking skills, but his 19cm height and 12 pounds off-fight weight give him quite solid advantage standing. But both of them don’t live their MMA lifes standing. Jenkins Jr is great grappler, and tonight he will be facing equally great brawler, one of the most brutal and vicious ground and pounders in Organization. Now there is question, who will be able to maintain control on the ground- American can work effectively from any position on the ground, but it will be very important for him to prevent Russian from playing his game and keep him on his back, in position, from which he won’t be able to unload powerful hammers and elbows on Jenkins Jr’s face.

Undercard

Featherweight Bout

Tony Frank v Jurgen Kohler

Next great fight of two still young, but already baptisted by MMA fire fighters. 22 years old Italian- Tony ‘The Ballpark’ Frank, will face 23 years old Scotch- Jurgen ‘Moon Man’ Kohler. Great and very similar set of skills will surely make this fight interesting and entertaining. We will see a lot of striking with some addition of wrestling ‘to taste’. Is there something else what real men would like to watch? Only minus of this fight, is that it’s in Featherweight Category, where power and strength will have to be replaced by more finesse ways of achieving the W.

Undercard

Middleweight Bout

Clay Matthews v Andrzej Sternik

Here comes the last appetizer before Main Card Fights. And it must be something great! 22 years old American from California- Clay ‘The Bear Hunter’ Matthews, and 21 years old Polish fighter from Warsaw will step up against each other into the cage. Two top class heavy-handed, spectacular strikers, disposing with full arsenal of all additional skills, which makes them lethal in every aspect of fight. And here Clay Matthews seems to be more all-rounded fighter, and pointing him as favorite is wise thing. But hey- Andrzej Sternik’s has proven already in past, that his KO Punch can reset his opponent’s memory back to weighing, and make it last thing his opponent will remember after he wake up!

Main Card

Lightweight Bout

Sam Giancana v Ryo Miyaichi

First fight of Main Card contains two solid fighters: American from Chicago, 23 years old ‘The Old School Gangster’ Sam Giancana, and 19 years old talented Ryo ‘Kaiju’ Miyaichi from Japanese Saitama. Again very equal fight and the only thing which differs tose two fighters is experience. Much more experienced Sam Giancana is my favorite tonight. I believe, that when it will become hot, he will be the one, who’s head will stay cold and ready for unloading that final, crucial blow deciding about Victory, even if Miyaichi seems to be a little better MMA Fighter.

Main Card

Welterweight Bout

Gustav Ragnarson v Ben Henley

In next fight, we should prepare for a lot of brawling and grappling, as those 24 years old fighters are specialist in those aspects of MMA. Coming from Stockholm, Sweden- Gustav Ragnarson, will clash with American, from popular city of gambling, Las Vegas- Ben ‘The Question’ Henley. Henley can score some points standing, but the key factor, which decides about his advantage tonight, is last lost title fight of Gustav Ragnarson. It seems, that Swedish fighter can be surprised by skilled grappler, and ‘The Question’ definitely is someone of that kind. Ragnarson will be trying obviously to demolish his opponent with brutal ground and pound, but the key is to stay focused and don’t let Henley to take the control over the fight.

Main Card

Middleweight Bout

Espiridion Araya v Arkady Balagan

The last fight before Main Events has excited fans as big unknown. Looking at 22 years old Ecuadorian, born in Esmeraldas- Espiridion ’Stony’ Araya, it seems to be quite clear, that he is much more all-rounded fighter in this one. But Russian from St. Petersburg- ‘Grandmaster’ Arkady Balagan, is someone, who is surprising us in each of his fights. But to be honest, the truth is, that he didn’t get serious highest class test, yet. Until tonight. In other way I would just say, that Araya is favorite, but I would name Arkady Balagan of probable Dark Horse of nearest time.

Co-Main Event

Middleweight Championship Bout

Arturo Atunes v Bradley Miller

20 years old Middleweight Champion, Arturo ‘Zico’ Atunes, the flawless in all of his previous fights, owner of perfect 10 wins Professional MMA record, will be defending his Title against 22 years old American pretender- Bradley Miller. First thing to mention is that Miller has born and spent whole his life living in Los Angeles, so current Champion- obviously beloved by Fans, in spite of all will have to fight against not only Bradley Miller, but also majority of Event’s Audience, Bradley Miller, who can be worthy match up in nearly every area to Atunes. And finally Bradley Miller, who is going all out in his every fight with wide, but also tactical strikes, looking for flow and trying every way to beat his opponent. But those aren’t things, which could stop always focused and cold ‘Zico’ from taking tonight his 11th consecutive Victory and remain Silent Fighting Championship’s Middleweight Champion. It’s the matter of waiting for the right moment for ‘Zico’, but when it won’t come- it can mean big troubles for current Champion.

Main Event

Light Heavyweight Championship Bout

Flagon Sackett v Diego Aragon

And here comes The Main Event of the Night! And You can be sure it will be all-out war without any excuses and mitigation. Current light Heavyweight Champion, 23 years old American from Denney’s Gap- Flagon Sackett, owning 12-2 Professional MMA Record, will defend his Title against 23 years old Brazilian from Sao Paulo- ‘The Soul Collector’ Diego Aragon, who has behind him 10 won fights and 5 losses. Both of them have great skills, feel comfortable in every area of fight and stay dangerous in them, but their fighting styles are quite different. While Sackett seems to be more insurance in what he does, Diego Aragon is going all-in adapting his gameplan furing the fight. And this can be why he has lost so many fights. But it can be also the recipe for taking over Silent Fighting Light Heavyweight Championship Belt tonight.

On 7/23 you guys are for in a treat, the syrup is going to flow once again as I go for the 145 pound belt against Maurice Smith. He has a great ground game but it's hard to grapple on the ground after eating my knees. They are fantastic and I have been told do not taste like chicken..

But first Will Tickel is looking to rebound from a disappointing loss against an Asshole, this particular asshole is undefeated and I look forward to ending that.

Man the syrup flowing again, Aragon in another title fight, The Butcher and the Silent Frenchman having a rematch soon...

Sackett and Kukko, (and even Atunes) may be the big names now, but the old guard will not fade into obscurity that easily.

SFC 60: Kukko vs. Newton

12.07.2014

King Theatre (5,320)

Los Angeles

MMA

Undercard

Featherweight Bout

Maciej Jewtuszko (3-8) (SFC 0-1) v Steve Seamon (3-8) (SFC debut)

We will start with two experienced warriors: Maciej ‘Irokez’ Jewtuszko- 22 years old fighter from Polish Szczecin, will face 28 years old Steve ‘Steve’ Seamon from Morrisville, United States. It should be interesting fight, as Maciej Jewtuszko will be coming back after his jump out to Kickboxing for one fight. He is very skilled boxer, but lastly it has turned out, that kickboxing mayb be too much for him, so what can we say about as ultimate challenge MMA is? Coming out tonight after 5 loss streak doesn’t help him, but maybe tonight he can find his chance, as Steve Seamon isn’t top class MMA fighter also. He is more all-arounder with some ground skills, but we must wait until fight to see who will manage to impose his gameplan and take the W.

Undercard

Welterweight Bout

Mikki Tysson (1-1) (SFC 1-1) v Mamed Khalidov (3-5) (SFC 0-1)

Very talented fighter at the beginning of his MMA career- 22 years old Finn from Helsinki- Mikki Tyson, will face 28 years old, experienced grappler from Grozny, but fighting under Polish flag- Mamed Khalidov. Tysson is still crawling on all fours in the cage and we are absolutely curious into which way he will go- he can become solid fighter or disappoint and stay at the Undercards forever. He has proven that he has some skills, but they seems not developed, yet. But maybe tonight everything will look nice finally? One is sure- it won’t be easy. Khalidov is great grappler, and if we would like to ask about most demanding fighting area- it’s definitely ground game. Mamed Khalidov is our favorite, but underdog Tysson taking W tonight can prove his overall skills as MMA warrior and make great step into serious career.

Undercard

Light Heavyweight Bout

Mack Bolan (9-5) (SFC debut) v Defer Taite (7-4) (SFC 1-1)

Third fight of tonight’s Preliminary Cards will bring us some more entertainment surely. 22 years old American fighter from Denver- Mack ‘The Executioner’ Bolan, will face 29 years ‘Resilient’ Defer Taite from Canadian Halifax. Both are great wrestlers, it will be definitely hard to outscore each other in this area, but Taite has even greater boxing skills, what is definitely working on his advantage, as Bolan’s striking skills can be named at most average. ‘The Executioner’ must come out with something special or he will lose this one.

Undercard

Lightweight Bout

Neptune Loveladdy (6-2-1) (SFC 4-1-1) v Dark Hunter (9-1) (SFC 1-0)

The Lightweight bout of two great 23 years old experienced fighters, who we should watch on Main Cards more often in near future. Neptune Loveladdy coming out of The Galactic Core, United States, will clash with British warrior from Hunter- Dark Hunter. It’s going to be war, as both fighters are always stepping into the cage with just one purpose- KO. Additionally they are known as quite spectacular strikers, what makes it even more interesting. As stand up aspect can go into any way, with Hunter as minor favorite- situations looks the same, if the fight will go to ground, but on Loveladdy’s side. But those advantages are rather small, so we can prepare for good and equal fight. Is there anything more what could we pray for, when thinking about MMA?

Undercard

Featherweight Bout

Zhang Chunqiao (10-7) (SFC debut) v Star Dust (3-2-1) (SFC 1-1-1)

Once more fight between two solid MMA warriors: 29 years old Chinese from Heze- Zhang ‘Chang Chun-Chiao’ Chunqiao, and 22 years old Russian from Russian Crvena Zvezda- ‘Red’ Star Dust. They can strike, thay can grapple, they can KO, they can submit- it’s going to be very entertaining fight. If I would have to point the more skills fighter- I would point Star Dust, but only if he can maintain control on the ground, and this will be very hard to acquire against Chunqiao. And ‘Chang Chun-Chiao’ is much more experienced fighter, what can really give him great advantage in such demanding area ground game is. We must just sit down and watch.

Main Card

Super Heavyweight Bout

Kelly Olynyk (6-4) (SFC 1-2) v Slavonik Powarenko (6-4) (SFC 3-2)

We are stepping into Main Card of tonight’s Event with two beloved by fans fighters. 21 years old ‘The Big KO’ Kelly Olynyk from Syracuse, United States, will fight against 23 years old Slavonik Powarenko from Ukrainian capital city- Kiev. Kelly Olynyk will be definitely looking to give fans reason to keep calling him ‘The Big KO’. For sure, he can’t let Powarenko to take him to the ground. Powarenko is great grappler and tonight’s main, and maybe even the only effective weapon would be ground game. But on the ground, he should be able to find the way to submit weighing 280lbs American fighter. And even if not- at least win at judges’ scorecards.

Main Card

Super Heavyweight Bout

Huell Babineaux (4-3) (SFC 2-0) v Ottis Toole (8-2) (SFC 1-1)

22 years old American big guys. Really big guys. KO. Or TKO. Must see. Coming from Albuquerque Huell ‘Alls Im Sayin’ Babineaux, and Ottis Toole from Jacksonville. Both are great strikers, will gladly take advantage of any deconcentration and mistake of their opponent. And in main aspect of upcoming fight, Babineaux seems to be clear favorite. But Toole has lethal weapon of mix of brawling and grappling- and will definitely look for opportunity to use that against ‘Alls Im Sayin’. But Banibeaux isn’t also some average man with his ground game. He might be able to keep Toole from taking control on the ground and outscore him in other fight’s areas.

Main Card

Super Heavyweight Championship

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140621203821sfccb2_zps313a50d7.png

Jesse Pinkman (9-1) (SFC 3-0) v Skinny Man (7-1) (SFC debut)

Last fight before entering Main Event part of Event. And it’s already Title Fight for Super Heavyweight Championship Belt. 28 years old Jesse ‘Break You Bad’ Pinkman from An VR, United States, will be defending his Belt against 22 years old Russian from Gym- Skinny Man. Pinkman has already proven his skills in SFC, but Skinny Man is great threat to his Championship. If I would have to put a bet- I would say we will have new Super Heavyweight Champion with next sunrise. Pinkman is 6 years older, but it doesn’t go together with experience advantage and Skinny Man will surely test ‘Break You Bad’ ‘s side, which we don’t know too well yet- fighting in clinch. And this should be Skinny Man’s recipe for Victory.

Co-Main Event

Welterweight Championship

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140621203821sfccb2_zps313a50d7.png

Rokki Kukko (12-4) (SFC 4-1) v Xanadu Newton (8-1) (SFC debut)

First fight of planned for tonight Main Event will be Welterweight Championship Challenge. Current Champion: 23 years old Finn from Oulu- ‘The Ordinary Hero’ Rokki Kukko, will defend his Belt against also 23 years old Xanadu ‘Grease Lightning’ Newton from Las Vegas, United States. It can be war in all areas and it will hopefully be. Rokki Kukko will be my tonight’s favorite- he seems to be able to take control of fight as far as it can be done on this level of MMA. Newton is very big threat at striking from distance, but also in clinch- maybe even more dangerous for Finn, according to both fighters’ Muay Thai skills. Kukko can look for his chances on the ground though, where he has all what is needed to take the W, at least by judges decision.

Main Event

Bantamweight Bout

Jesus Gaarlandt (14-2) (SFC 1-0) v Daniel Francisco (8-3) (SFC 1-0)

The Main Event of the Night: non-Title Bantamweight Bout between two young and incredibly talented MMA warriors. 21 years older Dutch from Voorthuizen- Jesus ‘The King’ Gaarlandt, will step into the cage against 22 years old fighter from Brazilian Cabo Frio- Daniel ‘Demolition’ Francisco. Standing, the only person, who can be threat tonight, is definitely ‘The King’. And he will surely try to score some points from there. But sooner or later, fight will land on the ground, and fireworks will begin. If You are grappling fan- You will be delighted. Upcming fight will be match between two Brown Belts, who have already proven many times their grappling skills- they have won all their fights exactly by Submissions! Due to their grappling talents, we would definitely would like them to develop, improve and one day turn into Our Own Silent Fighting Championship Bantamweight ‘Gracie-Sakuraba’ rivalry.

Welp, I've been demoted to SFC Challengers.. hopefully I can work my way back up to SFC before too long.

I would not consider it demoted i signed you up mostly because i know you where looking for a new contract plus your rank is mid-tier so if you get a perfect 4-0 record at the challengers org you will then get bigger and better fights when you come back the SF Championships.
