JuveLeo Posted March 7, 2014 Report Share Posted March 7, 2014 I found using a combo of blur, smudge, burn, dodge and sharpen tool helped me. E.g, take what Vlad showed in the tutorial, then use the smudge tool to smoothen the skin out and look more "avatar-ish". Burn/Dodge for shadowing/lightening of the eyes, nose etc. Shrpen on the nostrils, eyes and mouth. Not too much on sharpen as it can send the skin colour a funny shade of funky. I'll definitely keep all of that in mind. I'm still experimenting with multiple pictures.
