Charlie "The Wizzard" Wax

6 fights in to your Havoc career, you have yet to be beaten. 4 of those wins were for the title, you have established yourself as WW King. Is there anyone currently in the Havoc roster you think will be able to challenge you?

The talent in the WW division is growing stronger and stronger almost daily. I think my immediate challengers are the likes of Shane Austin who has just moved across from SPI Helinski with a very impressive 8 wins, 3 title defences and just 1 loss to his name, Sairanix Lokren is also climbing rapidly up the ranks with an incredible 8 fight win streak, Dean Kane imo is also jostling his way back into contention for another title shot. There are also a number of young fighters who have been training harder and longer than anyone else and will make their presence knowin in the division in the near future.

You have shown off a very well rounded MMA game. Where would you say you are strongest?

I think it's no secret that my clinch is the strongest part of my game, some have said that I might be a one trick pony but I have a few surprises up my sleeve to fall back on should I need them and my manager is constantly getting me to try new things in training in an attempt to keep me in the best possible shape.

Many have you pegged as one of the next big things at WW due to your dominant performances, how do you feel when they say that and does it affect your in cage performances?

I think that could be potentially very stressful for any fighter, fortunately for me my manager has kept me very grounded and I just take things day to day, focusing on the next fight, enjoying the limelight as long as it lasts.

You are champion in one of the most stacked division in Havoc, they have some very high level fighters in there. What is your secret to success?

My secret to my success? I haven't been blessed with any amazing natural talent or skill so I have had to work harder than anyone else to try and keep myself one step ahead of the competition.

You’ve recently told SHW champion Silas Monk exactly what you think of him. I quote ‘Modest little shit aren’t you?’ Obviously you two won’t actually be fighting anytime, but you are a fighter who has spoken more with his performances rather than his mouth. Is there anyone you are itching to get a fight against?

Silas and me will just have to agree to disagree on certain things, but he is a great fighter there is no doubting that. Gunnar Johnson, Temujin Lee and Reed Hightower. I think I've proved myself in standing up to the best Havoc has to offer so far, I'm looking forward to seeing how I do when going up against the new generation of fighter.

Thank you for your time, is there anything you would like to say?

I've enjoyed every second of my time at Havoc. Havoc has the best talent around, if you think you are the best or want to challenge yourself, get on over and sign a contract. You won't regret it.

Causing Havoc:44

2 Title Fights, 8 Card Fights

12-26-15

PREVIEW

265: Title Fight: (9-1-0) Marco Ferreira vs (7-1-0) Knut “Starhammer” Paulsen

The 265 Lb title fight to unite the belts of the SPI, and Havoc organizations is the main attraction of the night. These two heavyweight boxers are looking to demonstrate their striking on the highest level.

Marco Ferreira has been ripping through the top contenders of Havoc’s 265 division with 2 consecutive first round TKO’s. Marco has handed Robert Baratheon the only loss in his career, and landed the head kick that caused James Powell to go on a 3 fight loss streak, and eventually lead to the end of what was once a promising career. Marco was quoted saying "the only thing getting stuffed in Knuts stocking this year will be my fist".

Knut “The Starhammer” Paulsen faced a lot of criticism when he was knocked out in the first round by a flurry of devastating punches administered by Boris Konstantinov. Two first round Tko’s later, Paulsen got his rematch, and put all doubts to rest by finishing Boris in almost the exact fashion that he received the only loss of his career just four months earlier. Knut Paulsen is making his debut in the Havoc organization after the SPI merge, and is looking to prove that there is truly a place for the SPI fighters within the Havoc organization.

Marco Ferreira’s career ending strikes vs The Starhammer, who has never had a fight make it past the third minute mark. Only one thing is guaranteed in this match-up, someone is going to get knocked out in a brutal fashion. Both fighters expressed in interviews earlier this week that they are looking to stand toe-to-toe and test their limits as power strikers.

Prediction: Round 1 TKO - Ferreira. Plain and simple, Paulsen has been knocked out before, and Marco hasn’t. On top of this, Marco is more experienced and can punish Paulsen in the clinch, and on the ground. Paulsens best chance if winning lies with his proven striking, but even if Marco gives him the stand up brawl promised in the pre-fight interviews, Paulsen will not have an easy time.

145: Title Fight: (11-1-1) Kron Silva Vs (10-2-0) Rocco “Bonus” Falcone

This 145 title fight looks to be promising. We will see both fighters trying to “fight their fight” as stylistically, these two are quite different.

Four months ago, Rocco Falcone lost his title in a 5 round slug fest with PePe Hapitchou that resulted in a devastating decision costing him his belt and more importantly, his pride. After the 5 round war Falcone came out swinging, and recovered into a 2 fight win streak to earn him a shot to once again become Havoc’s champion in the 145 Lb division.

Kron Silva is the P4P highest rated fighter within the Havoc organization. Silva is incredibly skilled on the ground in both Wrestling and BJJ, and if he is looking to finish this fight, you can expect a lot of submission attempts from a wide range of positions. Kron has been dominant in Havoc’s 145 division, earning wins over many note worthy opponents, but most importantly, finishing Pepe Hapitchiou, the man who stripped Falcone of his title, in a one sided beat-down that resulted in an early TKO stoppage in the first round.

Falcone is looking to prove his loss was a fluke, Silva is looking to cement his legacy in Havoc’s 145 division. Both fighters have everything to gain, and everything to lose.

Prediction: Round 2 TKO - Falcone: Im going with what many people might consider the upset. Falcone, despite being the underdog, is the more well rounded fighter. If he can keep the fight standing, I believe he has a very good chance at ending this fight before it goes too deep. But if Silva gets the takedowns he will certainly be looking for, all bets are off, as he can ground and pound as well as submit his opponents better than anyone in the 145 division.

170 Main Card: (9-3-0) “Suger” Ray Whitaker Vs (9-1-0) Shane Austin

Pre-merge, Shane Austin was a dominant title holder in the SPI’s 170 division, only recently forfeiting his belt after his 8 fight win streak to begin his young and promising career, and is hoping to put together a run of a similar nature here at Havoc. Recent skeptics have emerged in regards to Ray Whitaker's chin, and his ability to take strikes. He has been knocked out by a single punch before, and Shane Austin certainly has KO power. But Ray Whitaker is definitely the superior technical boxer, if this one stays on the feet like I predict, then Shane Austin will be looking to throw bombs for sure.

Prediction: Round 1 TKO - Austin: Now its worth mentioning, all of Whitaker’s losses have come in title fights, but Austin is no push over, and is certainly a “champion caliber” fighter. Even though Whitaker has the better technical boxing, Austin seems to have the ability to stand with fighters who are technically more sound than he is, and effectively knock them out, and I don’t predict anything different in this fight.

170 Main Card: (4-1-0) Gunnar “Mad Man” Johnsson Vs (8-3-0) Stoyak “Really Scary” Stoyachinkov

This fight is a chance for Gunnar to prove he can play with the big boys of the 170 division here at Havoc. After a 2 month training camp, Gunnar shocked the world by knocking out his opponent in a quick flurry of punches right out of the gate. He felt the need to silence those that claimed he couldn’t finish fights, and as a result of his ballsy, and impressive performance he's been given a shot at one of the veterans of the 170 division. Many people are excited to see Gunnar tested, and Stoyak will certainly do just that. Stoyak is known for finishing fights with his brutal KO power. Gunnar will have to try and avoid strikes while looking to close the distance and grapple effectively if he wants to avoid joining the list of competitors who Stoyak has dismantled with brutal KO power.

Prediction: Round 2 KO - Stoyak: I believe the more experienced, but less technical fighter in Stoyak will be able to KO Gunnar. We haven't really seen Gunnar deal with someone who has knockout power like Stoyak, and I don't believe he currently has the experience to take on someone like Stoyak, who was fought some of the best fighters in the 170 division. If Gunnar manages to win here, he would certainly be creating some noise as Stoyak is a big name to take down for someone so early in their career.

155 Main Card: (7-2-0) Demir “Iron Eagle” Kartal Vs (7-2-0) Bob “and” Neal

Kartal has been making quite a name for himself recently in the Havoc 155 division. He is currently on a 4 fight win streak and is just coming off of a big Submission of the night award for his 1st round guillotine submission over The Bong. He looks to carry his momentum forward in this fight, and hopefully make an argument for a title shot in the near future. But Bob and Neal isn't going to let it happen without a fight. Bob has never let a fight go to a decision in his 7 victories. He has finished by TKO every time, so expect him to come out swinging and to be aggressive. He's going to have to close the distance and land lots of strikes from very close, as Kartal is 11 Cm taller, and has a significant reach advantage.

Prediction: Round 3 Submission - Kartal: I think this is going to be a very tough fight for Kartal. Bob has a slight standup advantage, and I expect that advantage to get pushed. But Kartal is really on a roll and has found his rhythm, and I expect him to use his superior wrestling and BJJ to pull out a submission victory.

145 Main Card: (4-1-0) Alan Fadzaev Vs (8-2-0) Armondo “Darwin” Munoz

After destroying the LFC’s 145 division Armondo came to Havoc looking to take the belt from Kron Silva, but lost in a great 3 round war. Armondo is looking to prove that loss was a fluke and get back into title contention, but he's going to have to get through a young challenger in Alan Fadzaev. As part of the SPI merger, Alan is looking to take a win in his first fight here at Havoc, and despite having significantly less experience, many people believe that there is potential for Alan to pull out an upset if he can use his superior wrestling to control the fight. In this fight Munoz will have a 18 Cm height advantage, so look for that to be a contributing factor in the strategy that these two fighters might attempt to play off of.

Prediction: Round 2 TKO - Munoz: Im saying it right now, this is one of the hardest main cards for me to predict. Munoz is more proven and battle tested, but Fadzaev is just as skilled, if not, more skill than Armondo. In this case i'm going with hype, popularity, and experience in Munoz, but will not be shocked even a little if i'm proven wrong.

205 Main Card: (5-2-0) Lenard “Thunder Ellis Vs (12-6-0) Greg “Captain America” Coleman

This fight is quite interesting as these fighters have met in the octagon once before. Lenard Ellis was the heavy underdog, and managed to knock out Greg Coleman in just 1 minute and 17 seconds. But now that the fighters have hired new managers things could change. Lenard has reported to the media that he's not happy with his current situation, and his morale has suffered substantially. Coleman is the better wrestler by quite a large margin, and he loves to finish fights, so were expecting a knock out in this match up.

Prediction: Round 1 TKO - Coleman: I anticipate that Coleman will take down Ellis and G&P for a win. Ellis’s morale is unfortunately quite low, and as a result, I wouldn't expect much from him in this one.

265 Main Card: (2-0-0) Project Joshua Vs (9-6-1) Blade Runner

Even though Joshua doesn’t have a ton of fights, he has proven so far to be quite a fighter in his short career, and seems to be taking fights at a slow pace while he learns the ropes of MMA. Blade Runner is much more experienced, and has finished 8 of his 9 wins by TKO, so you can expect this to be quite a bloody battle. Recently Joshua has been dealing with bouts of clinically diagnosed depression, and critics are saying this may effect his performance and cause him a loss despite his superior muay thai and BJJ skills.

Prediction: Round 2 TKO - Blade: Joshua's morale is really low, and I think this may ruin any chance he had at winning this fight. I expect Blade to go for a TKO and finish this fight much like his others.

170 Under Card: (6-5-0) Eric “The Blade” Brooks Vs (4-2-0) Lucifer Palhares

What was once a struggling career of Eric Brooks has turned into quite a decent run for him as of late, putting together a string of competitive fights that are beginning to create some noise in the young muay thai specialist career. Palhares is looking to regain his momentum after suffering a quick TKO loss in the first round of his last fight. Look for Palhares to try to get this one to the ground, and land some punches, or go for his infamous armbar.

Prediction: Round 3 TKO - Eric: Eric may have a sketchy record, but almost all of his losses came early, and has really turned around his career through solid work ethic, and handwork. I think Eric will be able to keep the fight standing, and will show his superiority into the later half of the fight before landing a TKO win.

155 Under Card: (5-1-0) The Bong Vs (4-2-0) Jan Pawlak

These two young fighters both started off their careers by throwing together promising win streaks. But both fighters have no tasted losses, and are looking to get over the first hurdles of their careers. Bong has proven he can pull out a submission is a chance, but hes going to have to get past Jan Pawlak's flurry of punches in order to close the distance and hopefully drag the game to the ground.

Prediction: Round 1 Submission - Bong: Bong has finished all but one of his wins early on with a submission, and I think that can be replicated here. He has to get the fight to the ground fast, or he WILL get knocked out, and it likely wont take long, as he is outclassed massively on the feet.

Havoc LW Champion Interview

Darren "Killer" Kissel

First of all congratulations on becoming the first Havoc LW champion. How does that make you feel?

Fucking stoked to get the belt. When I first came state side I entered a tough tourney and did great but feel short near the end so it's really fucking awesome to realize a dream and wear some gold.

You took the belt in a very close fight with Brandao, a fighter you have bested before. Did knowing you beat him before give you an extra edge going into the fight?

No real extra edge, just had to believe in myself. Brando was a tough fight the first time round and I knew he would be tough again.

For your first title defence, you will be facing SPI:Helsinki WW champion, Hans Huber. Who previously made his name fighting in Havoc as a MW. How do you see that fight going?

Yeah Huber looks tough, going to have to train hard and try be the better fighter on the day. Hopefully Fuel can come up with a the goods on scouting him and give me a good strat. Between us he is a damn average manager but tries hard and is damn loyal to all of us in his camp, that maybe to his detriment haha.

Your only loss in Havoc must leave a sour taste in your mouth. Makar Vershinin stands very close to the top of the division, with a win in his next fight propelling him on the cusp of a title shot. Is that a fight you want to avenge?

Cant really think about that yet, go to get past the tough challenge of Huber, and if the rematch against Makar arises then I will try to grind out another W.

Will you be looking to change your gameplan now you are champion? Or will you be sticking to what got you to where you are?

Really depends on what we find watching Hubers tapes, but I do what I do and grind it out for the W.

Looked a bit at videos from Roberta ' Chicken' Baratheon and I must say I wasn't overly impressed. Seems like he isn't really a fighter, yeah I know that is not a shock, but is nothing but a hugger instead. I believe many don't even know him just because he isn't even worthy of being known.

Oh by the way Roberta, two of my last 3 wins were during a hug as well, so feel free to try and do the usual. You'll find out I'm a big huggybear as well if I want to.

And if I hold you close enough, you might not be able to run away for once, that would be nice as well.

You can thank me later for being the main-event. Your low hyped ass woudn't have gotten you at the top of the event , but luckily you have me to do that for you.

I have a gift for you Roberta :

Use it to get through that ugly pubeforest on your face. One woman in the world with a beard is already one too much Roberta, keep that in mind!

Baratheon used to talk a lot, but he seems to be pretty quit lately. I guess he is focussing on training very hard as he doesn't want an asswhooping...
I'll see what he is made of soon. His cuddling wins him fights, but I don't know if he wants to try that with me. Two of my last 3 wins were in the clinch ...

Should be a short and brutal fight, that's for sure.

Told you Baratheon was no test for me, but nobody seemed to believe me. My 3 last fights were all title fights and all 3 wins where I finished my opponent.

One thing I'll give the Usppurpoer , he has the heart of a champion. Don't give up yet man, if you fix your skin and chin, you might turn out to be pretty ok :shades:

Now, Ferreira, lets do this shit and turn HAVOC upside down! HW vs SHW champion, beast vs beast.

This will sell out the arena in 5 minutes!

Seems like the HW 'champ' is already looking for reasons not having to fight me. A shame as you were pretty much the only big boy I had respect for.

He doesn't want to possibly have to hold two belts to defend and go up and down to defend, but wants to fight at SHW against me.
If I instead would go down to HW, I can possibly take his belt and defend both belts, as I on the other hand have no problem with that.

C'mon Ferreira, don't you dare hiding from me! Give the fans what they want, me vs you for the belt!!!

I know that confused dark Albino or whatever it is he calls himself loves to get air time with his constant talk about his dick or how many hoe's he done, we all know he just goes home alone and watches porn so I'm not going to even bother to respond to his lame ass comments as I'd hate him not to have the last word.

Moving on to something that maybe the fighters in Havoc might actually be interested in. Now I'm not sure if the org Bosses are too worried about paying my wages or the contenders are too scared to ask for the fight but I hear the Welterweight Champ (some handsome chap called Wax) maybe getting a little rusty. Who's brave enough to step up and enter the cage with him and see if they can't stop me defending the Title for the 4th time?

Hey org owner, send me the contract for the superfight at HW so that I can take on that scared pussy from team alpha.

He says I form no treat, but he keeps on bringing up new requirements for the fight to take place.

Ferreira doesn't want to possibly hold two belts, and I have no problem with doing that, so I'll come to HW and take him out there so that he doesn't have to worry about possibly having to go up and down between divisions to defend. I'm up for that.

If that doesn't suit ms. Ferreira either, I'll fight him in a non-title fight at HW then, but then he is a big fat pussy.
The fight means ten times more when it's for a belt and I have fought for belts all of my last fights and won. I'll gladlly continue that streak.

C'mon guys, send me the contract and book the fight so that he can't keep coming up with new requirements for the fight in idle hope to avoid me...!

It feels good to finally join my pal and sparring buddy Charlie Wax and claim a Havoc Championship belt for myself, I just hope I can do as good a job as he has defending his title.

My opponent Darren Kissel put on a great show, I just couldn't get the KO tonight as he just soaked up everything I threw at him. Good fight man.

Havoc Press Conference

Wolf: Havoc would like to announce that Tradition Fight Club will be merging into Havoc. First off we are immensely happy to have completed this deal and we look forward to working with Tradition fighters. Any questions?

Reporter: Big news, but why Tradition? When there are closer orgs such as MMA Gods and Dissolution located in London?

W: We have always viewed Tradition as our biggest rivals. We have constantly been battling with them to sign the best fighters. We get along very well with their owner, which played a big factor into buying them out. He will be coming over to work with the Havoc staff to make the transitions for their fighters as seamless as possible.

R: My next question is for Davie, what do you feel The Unknown (Tradition owner) can bring to Havoc?

Davie: He ran a top notch org for a long time, but it made sense for Tradition and Havoc to merge together to create a 'super' org. He has the experience of running orgs and he knows and has a good connection the the Tradition fighters which will hopefully convince the majority to come over to Havoc.

R: Now that you have acquired Tradition, what are your goals for Havoc?

D: We are now the premier 260k org around, and we look to build on that to complete a great 2016. Obviously I do not expect every single fighter from their roster to make the transition as most are based in LA or LV, but I do hope that most of them will so they can prove they are the best young fighters in MMA today.

R: What can the Tradition fighters moving over expect from Havoc?

W: We hope to offer them an experience that they enjoyed whilst they were at Tradition, with the help of The Unknown, we will also be covering any travelling costs they might need to make the trip to Amsterdam for fight time. We will also be offering them fair fights. With a bigger roster it will be easier to match those we feel are equals, and hopefully we can offer the best fights available!

R: How will the fighters of Havoc react to this news?

D: Well hopefully they all react positively since this will also be benefiting them. Our champions are always great and looking for the toughest challenges, and some of the feedback we have already received has been largely positive with fighters looking to test themselves against Traditions roster of high caliber fighters.

R: What do you personally want to come from this merger?

W: I just want to see the best fighters of their age compete against each other. I feel Havoc will be the place where legends are born and grow. And with any luck this will also help Havoc grow to new heights. Time will tell.

That's all the time we have for questions, thank you.
