Predictions for 2016

It's a new year and that means new predictions! Let's get this rolling........

1. Jon Jones returns and recaptures the Light Heavyweight title, then moves up to heavyweight.

 

2. Jacare finally gets the title shot that we have all been waiting for.

 

3. Renan Barao moves up to 145 and loses his debut, Jose Aldo moves up to 155 and loses his debut.

 

4. Michael McDonald vs TJ Dillashaw will headline a FOX event.

 

5. Reebok finally release "uniforms" that look decent.

This will be tough for me because i am not a regular for UFC these days but still fun enough to try.

 

1. Frankie edgar gets screwed out of a title shot two times in 2016

 

2. Anderson Silva beats Bisping and then retires after a lackluster performance

 

3. CM Punk gets cut without fighting and returns to ROH rasslin

 

4. Dana White files for a divorce

 

5. Ronda Rousey retires at some point

2. Rockhold will keep his belt for all of 2016.

 

3. Vitor wIll fight, & lose to Jacare at some point.

 

4. Anthony Johnson shocks the world and KO's Jon Jones to win the Title.

 

5. Winner of Lawlor/Condit keeps the Title for the rest of 2016.

 

Just a few off the top of my head, had fun doing it..

1. Ronda Rousey will return to defeat Holly Holm in July, only to lose to Cyborg Santos in December in a brutal beat down and swiftly announce her departure from the UFC.

2. Anderson Silva will return to the #1 contender status after defeating Bisping and Romero, he will fight and lose against Rockhold and retire from MMA in 2017.

3. Jon Jones returns and wins back his LHW title and defends it at least once.

4. Conor McGregor will fight and lose against Frankie Edgar, this will be in May/June. Conor will blame the weight cutting and move to LW only to lose to RDA.

 

The wildest one I can think of is that Robbie Lawler will lose his WW title to Demian Maia.

Nick Diaz tries to get a fight with Robbie Lawler. IF they fight again, Diaz gets another KO.

 

If Nick and Robbie don't fight, Maia wins the title.

 

Jon Jones beats the shit out of DC.

 

AJ knocks people out but loses to a grappler.

 

Brazilians get popped left and right for all types of steroids and HGH stuff.

Ronda runs from Cyborg again off to Hollywood where she will be making b action movies for a few years before everyone stops giving a crap about her.

3. Khabib returns late in 2016 to ragdoll RDA for the title

4. Dustin Poirier sets himself up for a title fight in early 2017

5. Fabricio Werdum eeks out a win against sea level Cain then loses to Stipe in his next title defense.

1. Chris Weidman will reclaim the title.

 

2. Fedor and CM Punk won't fight in the UFC.

 

3. Holm will beat Rousey again.

 

4. After Cruz fights Dillashaw, win or lose he will remain inactive in the rest of the year.

 

5. Cain will beat Werdum to be the three time champ.

 

6. Mighty Mouse won't lose his belt.

 

7. GSP will return and win a fight.

 

8. Anderson will retire after few fights.

 

9. Nate Diaz and Ferguson will get a title shot.

 

10. Cowboy will go back to LW after failed to find success in WW.

I hope she finds a new trainning camp, i still feel she has all the tools to be champ for a long time and even beat Cyborg. but its time for a upgrade with her standup.

I can give one prediction ... one ..just one ...
that is

Dana White and Joe Rogan will still kiss Rousey's 'back side'
Dana will do whatever he can to hand over that title belt to that woman ...
if with Holm it isn't possible ( which I hope Holm will beat Rousey senseless again ) then Dana will make another division with a couple of lame fighters and make Rousey the champ in that division !

mark my words ... Dana and Rogan will keep kissing that ...

With the recent news of RDA vs McGregor there is his first screw job like we didnt see this one coming though. Still plenty of time for a 2nd.

This guy will fight the canniest fighter in the recent history of the UFC (11-10, 2 fight losing streak) at 196 and if he wins he gets to fight CM punk. It's absurd how far DW has gone to find a can opponent for punk, having the can beat another can on a ufc card to give cheap legitimacy.
