RegularJohn
Point definitely deserves a Fighter of the year nomination. I looked for a cool KO by him to nominate too but I must've passed by that walk off shot. I nominate it for KO of the year as well.
jjsquirrel
Who even remembers what happened at the beginning of the year. It's almost as long as i have played this game. If you want awards go for flashy things towards the end Have we got something for smacktalker of the year, should be some material here: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62404
jjsquirrel
Hmm, i bet we got better ones, but I'll throw in Dada winning the title against Sedlacek as upset of the year.
YungGreazy
Hmm, i bet we got better ones, but I'll throw in Dada winning the title against Sedlacek as upset of the year. I actually think Dada was the favorite in that.
jjsquirrel
Long time ago, but remember the fight as i did the writeup and remember i thought it would be a tough one for him. Uneven fights are hard to find in this org
YungGreazy
I try to make it that way. I think Dada slightly had him in primaries. But they were fighting for a title. So, sometimes you have to deal with that.

RegularJohn
I was doing some thorough research through the nominations but it's taking way too long so I'll vote one by one. Event of the year: Gladitorius Maximus III This event had three title fights, a lot of cool finishes and a couple of dramatic comeback wins. Special mention to the Knee KO win by Erik von Erikson. Jackking
I'm going to vote for the 185lb champ: Phol Boxaaja for Fighter of the Year. I looked at all the current belt holders and it was clearly down to Boxaaja and Point. IMO, Boxaaja had faced slightly better competition and had fought more frequently.
FightGame26
Phol has my vote as well
YungGreazy
No one nominated Phol. I really wanted him on the ballot. But then I would have had to put others on who came late in the year. I fully agree that he should have been nominated, but his first fight was in December. Which means he fought 4 months out of the year. I'll check with the other managers and see if this is fair.

Well, he lost to you...beat Budo to get a rematch for the title. Then beat you, then beat the number 1 contender Robin...which put Budo back in the number 1 spot...then beat Budo a gain. Now you want another fight. So, if he fights you again...would that be a good look for him?

So, if he fights you again...would that be a good look for him? Come on, anyone that fights Budo will win now, that why he got dropped from our gym without a fight. He wasnt even as good as Far-Q 205'ers that haven't had a fight yet. Tell you what, if Budo is a real number 1 contender i will put up as much money as mr romero likes to fight Budo and steal all his hype Come on Mr Romero step up and stop being a hype farmer. Fight someone who is better than you Have to leave the comfort of the old peoples home sooner or later But I understand, if he doesn't even have the energy to answer for himself, I believe it would be a lot to ask to get the energy up to fight me
LionelR
why if you consider Billy the bastard to be best why doesn't he fight more often? he only trains and trains and has only fought once in 3 months You think that your fighter is better based only on primaries If you want a rematch talk to the matchmaker, a rematch is not a problem for me
