thedry16
Have a lot more time in my life again. With the sad closure of my former org, it got me thinking that I might start a new one. Are there any spaces for orgs currently in the game? Haven't been playing much for the past few months so I am somewhat ignorant of the world. There is no 320k org now, but Sydney Fights seems like it is going strong and a really solid org at 322. Any other gaps or should I start a 340k org? I already see one very solid one ran by a respected manager. Oh and I don't want to do a KT or grappling org but something smaller, with less scope than NJMMA or just one or two weight classes would be fine too. Any thoughts anyone?
RegularJohn
I think 335k is more or less up for grabs. Think Gladius is closing shop why don't you take it over? (they have the coolest logo IMO)
thedry16
I have never had a fighter in Gladius, so I have no idea how it has been run therefore I can't really take it over.
jsdaugh
Could wait for 350 ID, or do one next Island season and transfer it afterwards.

Why not? you don't need to follow a guideline.

Bwang
I agree. Theres a lack at 300 and 320.
thedry16
320k seems a bit locked up for now but yeah I see a bit of a gap at 300k. I might just do it!
listerman
320k seems a bit locked up for now but yeah I see a bit of a gap at 300k. I might just do it! Most 300k fighters are most likely close to their max potential, so most of those fighters would already fight in non-ID orgs. I think 310k and up would make more sense to do. I didn't study the market at all, but maybe higher ID would be a safer bet.

listerman
Was bored, so I went through the list of currently active orgs, here's a list of ID restricted. In order of ID, also added the current number of fighters for each orgs, along with the city. Anything below 305k is pretty much fighters maxed out and ready for open ID, IMO. Edit: Also, 13-14 open ID orgs currently active. 340k - FARTMMA (85) St Pete 336k - PhoQus Sports Enterprise (106) Hilo 335k - Gladius (130) Amsterdam 334k - JAG Battle League (140) London 330k - Ultimate Combat Federation (224) London 330k - Skrap House MMA (39) Rio 330k - MMA Helsinki (137) Helsinki 330k - Budokai Fighting Federation (123) Tokyo 325k - RISE Fight League (160) Los Angeles 322k - Sydney Fights (338) Sydney 315k - Iron Man Fight Club (190) Los Angeles 310k - The Global Coliseum (162) Las Vegas 310k - GAMMA: Proving Grounds (98) St Pete 305k - OG Cardinals Fighting Org (209) Helsinki 290k - SYN: DARE (171) Amsterdam

imcool
TGC also has an openweight 320k division, which holds some of the best fighters in that id range
Monsieur.Camara
TGC also has an openweight 320k division, which holds some of the best fighters in that id range you ripped apart 2 orgs to make 1 division The point of this thread is like the opposite LOL I'd second 320k needs some love. Good post Listerman. 1

Good post Listerman. The 2 orgs were going under and as it stood the fighters had nowhere to go. So, I gave the fighters an out. I didn't force anyone to join TGC, nor do I keep anyone hostage. I think a competing 320k id org would be good. I never said one division for the 320 guys was ideal, but it's better than nothing.
