These write ups make me want to get fighters in this org

This really makes a huge difference. Keep up the great work

Honest to god comments like this are the inspiration that I need to keep doing what I do. If I thought nobody cared, I would produce the same old cookie cutter previews that I started out writing a decade ago.

Lmao damn you wrote a bunch about Piet that I didn't even know about him and I'm his damn manager lmao. Wonderful work dude.

Lmfao. I like to give a little introductory paragraph, a tl;dr if you will, at the beginning listing the fighter's accomplishments, then delve into the history giving more shine to the higher card fighters. I really enjoy giving my interpretation of a fighter's career path... some guys have to work for it more than others, some had a more Rocky Balboa-esque struggle to the top. Before it's done I've written a small Wikipedia article without realizing it.

Thanks again guys, I mean it.

Smelling blood, Marshall pushed forward with more strike, dropping Sims again with a big three punch combination, busting Sims up even worse. Sims got to his feet, shot in for a desperation takedown, and ran face first into a right hook that tucked him in for the night. Edgar Marshall def. Collin Sims via KO (Punch) at 1:59 of round 1.

-[Light-Heavyweight Division: Sammy Beach (3-0) versus Lee Brown (3-1)

-[Result: Both fighters wanted to clinch but wouldn't let the other initiate it. Against the cage, Beach opened up with dirty boxing while Brown fought for a takedown. Lee Brown via KO (Punch) at 0:56 of round 2.

Smit managed to pull guard at one point and had found himself trading submission attempts with the wily champion.

UnderGround FC 17 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event held by UnderGround Fight Club, in conjunction with Hoarseplay Writing Productions and the UnderGround Fight Ent. Alliance. Hoarseplay Writing Productions is a proud sponsor of the Noob Fund, a trusted source for new managers to obtain funding for their fighters, their business projects, or whatever they may need. This event will take place on July 14, 2019 at Hayashi's Lounge in Sydney, Australia. This preview is brought to you by KING OF THE BETS.

[Main Card]

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Kamen Kamenov (3-5-1) versus Claudio Escorre (3-0)

Kamen Kamenov is a boxer and a BJJ blue belt that is capable of attacking wherever the fight may go. This nine fight veteran was a resident of The Island during its ninth season, competing for Island Vale Tudo and the QFC before entering into the final tournament.

Kamen had a less than stellar time fighting for the Island Vale Tudo promotion. He accrued a record of one victory, three defeats, and one draw during that time. Immediately after fighting to a draw against Lurch Addams, he was stopped against the man in an immediate rematch due to a cut suffered early. Before leaving The Island, Kamen defeted Samoan Beasty in the QFC arena. Kamen participated in the final tournament where he was stopped in the opening round by Emilio Jacinto, who would go on to lose in the next round. Kamen Kamenov signed with UGFC following his return to the mainland. At UFC THF 1 he knocked out Boz Rutten, making a big promotional debut. Unfortunately the hype train was derailed at UnderGround FC 6 when he was submitted by Torq Bosley.

Claudio Escorre is an undefeated mixed martial artist that specializes in boxing. All three of his professional bouts have taken place in the QFC arena, where he has knocked out Jeff Castro, Emilio Randall, and Hoyt Mullins. This bout will be his promotional debut.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Derrick Lewis (2-1) versus Wres Po (3-1)

Derrick Lewis is a very technical boxer from London, England. A prodigy of the London MMA Club, Derrick has fought two of his three bouts in the UGFC cage. His debut came against BJJ purple belt Tokkie Terblanche, who he knocked out with a big punch in the opening round. He made his UGFC debut at UFC FNF 1, submitting Frank Richochet and proving that he is a threat everywhere. In his most recent bout, Derrick was submitted by powerful wrestler Vincet Lomax.

Wres Po is is an amateur wrestler with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Half of his professional bouts took place in the QFC arena. He made his debut in the smaller shows, besting Oisin Mac Cumhaill in a judge's decision before stopping Randell Nicholson via first round TKO. He made his UGFC debut at UFC SNF 1 where he faced BJJ brown belt Twistan Breakum. Although Po landed shots from the top position, he succumbed to an early armbar submission. In his mot recent bout he faced Muay Thai kickboxer Philo Beddo li. Po made short work of Beddo li, taking him down and putting him away with heavy ground and pound.

(Welterweight Division) Marin Ivanov (7-2) versus Seamus Coleman (4-2)

Marin Ivanov is a former title challenger in the Island Vale Tudo welterweight division. This submission grappler is a veteran of Season 9 of The Island where he fought in the QFC arena and for the Island Vale Tudo promotion.

Marin went undefeated in the QFC arena, stopping Raydon Randell twice, as well as defeating Nkululeko Sokhela via first round TKO. In his final QFC match he submitted Roni Matt.

Next Marin Ivanov signed with the Island Vale Tudo promotion where he tore through the top contenders, submitting Pablo Moraes and Sparring Dummy to earn a shot at welterweight gold. At IVT Friday 5 he challenged standout wrestler Cai Jia for the inaugural title, but was stopped in the opening round via TKO. This would be Marin's final fight on The Island,

Back on the mainland, Marin signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UFC THF 1 against undefeted boxer Benjamin Whyte. Ivanov made short work of Whyte, taking him down and pounding on him from side control before locking in a kimura. In his most recent bout, Marin Ivanov faced former RFC and future UGFC welterweight champion Guido Turturro. The bout took place at UnderGround FC 6. Ivanov scored an early takedown but quickly fell into a submission from the brown belt.

Seamus Coleman is a world class Muay Thai striker from New York, USA by way of Killybegs, Ireland. Representing the private Ramirez School of Excellence, Seamus has fought for FARTMMA, Anti Championship Berkut, GAMMA: Duel, and UnderGround Fight Club during his nine fight career.

After an unsuccessful debut in the QFC arena against future UGFC welterweight champion Guido Turturro, he fought at FARTMMA's event titled 'Battle of the Behemoths RD 2', where he fought boxer Jaleel Guy. Coleman dominated Guy, defeating him via unanimous decision. Seamus made two appearances under the Anti Championship Berkut banner. In both instances he was paired up with Tom Chandler, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. Both times Coleman walked away with a decision victory. Seamus Coleman made an appearance with GAMMA: DUEL, taking on fellow Muay Thai stylist Hiro Takahashi. The fight turned into a three round grappling match that Takahashi was able to dominate en route to a decision.

Seamus Coleman's most recent bout took place at UnderGround FC 6 where he faced Pedro Navas. After hurting Navas with strikes in the opening two rounds, he put Navas away with a head kick in the third round.

[Co-Main Event]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) James Moriarty (2-0) versus Antonio Almeida (6-2)

James Moriarty is a wrestler and a boxer. Undefeated across his two pro fights, Moriarty has won both of his UGFC bouts within the first round. Despite reportedly being a wrestler, he has almost exclusively boxed his way to both victories.

His MMA debut came at UnderGround FC 4 where he took on Muay Thai kickboxer Bill From Killer Hill. Moriarty dropped Bill with a crisp punching combination early and jumped into full mount, dropping ground and pound to until the referee saw fit to rescue Bill from further abuse. Most recently he faced world class boxer Ace Giannis Ignacio at UnderGround FC 6. Moriarty busted up the face of Giannis, beting him to the punch regularly before knocking him out cold one minute into the fight.

Antonio Almeida is a former UGFC light-heavyweight title challenger. This Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt is a longtime veteran of the QFC arena with six of his eight pro fights taking place in the smaller show.

Antonio made his fighting debut against fellow BJJ brown belt William Christie. Almeida scored all of the takedowns of the fight and the two traded submission attempts, gaining and losing position rapidly. Christie seemed to be losing energy at a faster rate, which cost him when Almeida locked in an armbar, forcing the exhausted man to submit. Next Almeida faced Jake Plunkett in back-to-back fights submitting him in the opening round on both occasions. He made short work of Sieg Fried and Vladimir Osborne before being defeated for the first time in his career by BJJ black belt Idriss Bizihwaelie.

Following the Bizihwaelie fight, Antonio Almeida signed with UnderGround Fight Club, submitting Michael Malloy in his promotional debut.

At UnderGround FC 6, Antonio Almeida challenged world class BJJ brown belt and UGFC light-heavyweight champion Robert Harper for the title. The opening two rounds of the fight took place largely in the clinch where Harper was able to dominate. The third round was a grappling match with both guys trading submission attempts. Almeida managed to bust open the face of Harper with ground and pound, winning the round but ultimately losing the fight via decision.

(Lightweight Division) Xander Colton (6-0) versus Raanta Runtiringeni (5-0)

Xander Colton is an undefeated mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. All six of his professional fights took place within the QFC arena where he has submitted four of his six opponents.

In his pro debut, Xander faced BJJ blue belt Anurak Kanjanapas. Cotton clinched, pulled guard, and submitted Anurak with an armbar in just under one minute. Next he faced brawler Crison Omayao, defeating him via unanimous decision in a back-and-forth battle. His third fight was against 2-0 blue belt Storm Thompson. The two traded takedowns before Xander locked in the fight ending submission with three seconds in the opening round. Next he faced boxer Bo Crawford, dominating two of three rounds with his superior grappling en route to a decision victory. After submitting BJJ blue belt Travis Carter, Xander made short work of Muay Thai stylist Ray Wells.

Raanta Runtiringeni is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter and five fight veteran of the QFC arena. Raanta is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt with all five of his victories coming by way of first round submission. He trains out of Los Angeles, California, by way of Finland. Raanta represents the Death Valley Training Facility.

Raanta made his MMA debut against BJJ blue belt Wase Titi. Raanta took him down immediately but nerves got the better of him and he stalled in guard, prompting a referee standup. Raanta scored another takedown into guard, but Titi showed his class when he escaped to his feet. Raanta took him down one last time and submitted Titi with a kimura. Next he faced boxer Fart Minarsich. Despite it being a tremendous tactical error, Minarsich took Raanta down immediately and promptly got submitted with a kimura. For his third bout he faced undefeated Muay Thai stylist Daniel Bruce. Raanta ate a head kick and clinched up immediately. After eating some brutal knees to the body, Raanta was granted a clinch break when Bruce separated. Raanta scored a takedown into the guard of Bruce and after some struggle submitted him with a kimura. Next he faced wrestler Jim Logo li. After being taken down in the early moments of the fight, the two grappler traded submission attempts until Raanta locked in the fight ending guillotine choke.

Fedor Mazepin is a former UGFC heavyweight title challenger. Representing The Coffee Shop mma academy, Fedor Mazepin is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from St Petersberg. Fedor spent half of his career in the QFC arena but has made a big splash within the UnderGround FC pool.

Fedor made his MMA debut in the QFC arena where he faced BJJ blue belt Efren Bird. On the ground, the two grapplers traded submission attempts before Mazepin hurt Bird with ground n pound, knocking him out cold from mount. Over his next three fights, Mazepin tore through the opposition, submitting Chang Cobb, Christov Yanovich, and Larry Homes. In his final QFC match he was paired up with BJJ purple belt and competent wrestler Damian Dyatlov. Ultimately the positional control of Dyatlov would be the deciding factor, costing Fedor the decision victory.

After his final QFC match, Fedor Mazepin signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his debut at UnderGround FC 1 against BJJ blue belt Syd The Scorpion. Mazepin would be taken down early but win the fight with a first minute triangle choke. At UnderGround FC 2, Fedor faced the new UGFC heavyweight champion Fray Tormenta with the title on the line. Known for being a world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, it was no surprise that Tormenta won the bout via first round submission. In his next two bouts, Mazepin rebounded with a big submission victory over Runny Hitter and Jolly Rodger.

Oskar Schmidt is is a former UGFC heavyweight title challenger. Representing the private Black Fang Fight Club, Oskar is a world class wrestler and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. This longtime resident of Humburgh, Germany has transplanted to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA to better fulfill his dream of becoming a world champion.

Oskar started his career in the QFC arena where he made short work of Cole Norton and Danny Sliva.

Following the second QFC match, Oskar Schmidt signed an exclusive contract with UnderGround Fight Club. Oskar made his promotional debut at Friday Night Fights IV, taking on wrestler Yessir Kranicks. After being pushed into the clinch early in the fight, Schmidt scored a takedown and went to work with some serious ground and pound. Schmidt smelled blood, picking up the pace to get the finish, knocking Kranicks out cold. At UFC WNF 1, Oskar Schmidt faced BJJ blue belt Mongali Samson, stopping him with cuts received due to the healthy diet of elbows dropped on him.

At UnderGround FC 5, Oskar Schmidt challenged reigning heavyweight champion Fray Tormenta, fresh off of submitting Fedor Mazepin, for the title. The bout lasted less than forty seconds: Tormenta clinched, Schmidt scored a takedown into half guard, and Tormenta worked his way to half guard and immediately submitted Schmidt with a triangle choke.

In his most recent bout, Oskar Schmidt faced hard hitting boxer Israel Montanyo at UnderGround FC 10. After being knocked down early, Schmidt came back strong in the second round, pounding on the striker from mount until the submitted to the strikes.

An intern from the Hoarseplay Writing Productions slave staff pool reached out to both Fedor Mazepin and Oskar Schmidt to ask them about their upcoming opponent.

Our Intern Asked Mazepin's Manager: "The UnderGround Fight Club is running promos highlighting the fact that both Fedor and Oskar Schmidt have lost to Fray Tormenta and could feasibly be getting a rematch with him if they win this fight. My question is: what does winning this fight mean to Fedor, and how do you think a rematch with Fray Tormenta would go now?"

The management team of Fedor Mazepin got back to us with: “The fight with Oskar Schmidt is a serious test for Fedor. Thi is another step to climb up. I think that today the rematch with the champion is not very interesting or promising for us. Now Fedor is focused on his fight with Schmidt. Only after this fight will it be possible to draw any conclusions and go forward. We still have a lot of work to do to improve many aspects of Mazepin's game, which is what we are doing now.

Our unimaginative intern sent a similar question to the management of Oskar Schmidt: "UnderGround FC is running promos illustrating that Oskar and Fedor Mazepin are both very similarly ranked with a common defeat in Fray Tormenta. What does this fight mean to you, and how do you think a rematch with the champion would go?"

Schmidt's management responded: “A rematch with the champ would be great but we're not looking past this next fight. Mazepin is a real tough fighter, and all of our thoughts are focused on the game plan going into this fight. Whatever happens next will be up to the UGFC management and the fans! Let's hope for a great show.

We attempted to ask Fray Tormenta for his thoughts on this match, but at the time of this writing he could not be reached for comment.

Even then with such a fast victory, nobody could have predicted just how great Fray would become in the sport. Following his dramatic debut, Tormenta signed with FARTMMA. Tormenta made his debut performance againt Boomerang Farts which... why. Why that name? Living up to his name (I guess...) Boomerang Farts survived the early abuse of Tormenta, coming back to drop the future world champion with a mighty right hand that sent the grappler crumbling to the floor. Tormenta survived the near defeat experience and forced a clinch situation, trying desperately to hang on and stay in the fight. Farts crop dusted Tormenta with another big right hand, truly stinking up his plans for victory. Tormenta showed his championship heart however when he got back up, clinched, and pulled guard. From there it was all Tormenta as he worked for an armbar that he quickly obtained.

Fray Tormenta dominated back-to-back opponents in Sam Hangman and Domennic Curtis, making him the top contender in the illustrious FARTMMA heavyweight division. The fight would come against undefeated power wrestler Rexx Howler. Although Tormenta would receive an early cut in the opening seconds of this fight, he would quickly score a takedown and triangle choke to make him the undisputed heavyweight champion.

In his first title defense, Fray Tormenta rematched Sam Hangman who was fresh off a brutal knockout victory. Hangman swore that this time their fight would go differently... and he was right. He lasted a full three minutes longer before falling into the same kimura submission hold. The second title defense of Fray Tormenta was against former heavyweight champion Rexx Howler. Despite Howler being a respected heavyweight, pundits and fans alike agreed that the former champion hadn't changed enough to merit earning this rematch. He was the same man so it would end the same way, right? Rexx Howler managed to keep the fight mostly standing up this time and put his Muay Thai experience to work, gashing and slashing Tormenta with brutal elbows that opened up that same old cut from their first meeting. Early in the fourth round the ringside doctor would declare Tormenta unfit to continue due to the severity of the wound. Just like that Fray Tormenta's championship train had been forcibly shoved off its tracks.

With his championship dreams shattered, Fray Tormenta signed with UnderGround Fight Club for a fresh start, making his promotional debut at Friday Night Fights. His opponent was boxer Hendrikas Karamas, who would fall quickly to Tormenta, submitting in just twenty-eight seconds. After quickly dispatching Horacio Romeu Pinto, Tormenta smashed Big Brown for the inaugural UGFC heavyweight title.

Fray Tormenta made his first title defense against BJJ brown belt Fedor Mazepin at UnderGround FC 2, submitting him in the opening round. Next he quickly submitted Oskar Schmidt at UnderGround FC 5.

In his most recent bout, Fray Tormenta submitted heavy handed knockout artist Josh Peterson to retain his title.

Rio Silva is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter with four finishes to his credit. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Silva lives in Amsterdam where he trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility.

Rio Silva is a submission fighter with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is capable of fighting on his feet but prefers to take opponents down to smash them with ground and pound. He is capable of submitting opponents on the ground as well.

In his MMA debut he faced August Nash, a fellow BJJ blue belt, in the QFC arena. Silva smashed Nash with ground and pound from side control. In his second pro fight, Rio Silva dominated Royce Franks, submitting him inn the second round. In his final QFC match, Rio Silva faced Abdul Vance, knocking the man out with the first punch he threw.

Following the fight with Vance, Rio Silva signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his debut against BJJ brown belt Lu Bu at UnderGround FC 13. Silva dropped Bu with the first punch he threw and finished him with followup strikes. Normally I would take a moment to tell you that Silva has no chance against the heavyweight champion but if he hits Tormenta like he hit Abdul Vance and Lu Bu early, we will have a new champion.

[Event Background]

Very rarely will you experience the perfect collision of two unstoppable fighters with a similar history, similar skill set, and similar ambition. UnderGround FC is proud to bring you Fedor Mazepin versus Oskar Schmidt, where the aforementioned scenario is described. Both men have fought four times with UnderGround Fight Club, both men have one defeat during their time with UGFC. Both men challenged for Fray Tormenta for the undisputed heavyweight crown and both men were submitted in the opening round. Respectively ranked #4 (Fedor) and #5 (Oskar), this fight will determine who gets to climb the mountain to make another run at the peak and who returns to the ground with empty hands and a broken heart.

Idk how long you can keep these writeups going before you get burnt out, but I'm enjoying the hell out of them! I like your writeups more than any other that I've read in the past. Once again, keep up the great work! I hope you're being paid well, :winner: !

Much love guys. Speaking of burning out, I will have the FARTMMA vs UnderGround preview posted tonight. Just need to finish a little writing, put together some graphics in MS paint that are the same quality that I was making when I was twelve, and get to formatting. Stay tuned!

Edit: That wasn't meant to compliment myself at twelve so much as to insult myself as a grown man.
