  1. I feel like they (the alliance) know his history and either don't care or don't believe the rumors.
  2. I'm all over the place trying to make a point because I just got off a ten hour day, bear with me here.
  3. I do understand the sentiment believe me. I had my own anti-multi thread that I just found again from 2016. I was competing with a guy that was an obvious multi that was signing bunches of fresh fighters for pennies because they were his alts. This fool even used the same username in some of his alt accounts. He eventually had his extra stuff deleted and was allowed to keep his main account- including the org. Without the stream of cheap labor, he sold this org to a rich investor... the org then died when the majority of the managers under contract magically stopped logging in at the same time. I don't remember who bought the org but he was pissed. Point being- that gentleman kept his main account, made a cool few million selling the org at a time when selling VIP time wasn't as convenient so money was tighter. I understand your frustration but I wonder what these posts look like to a new player that joins our diminishing community.
  4. I suspect Mike is equally annoyed by cheaters and by people making threads harassing cheaters at this point but I could be projecting. Listen I've come and gone from this game for years and throughout that time I've made my opinion on people running multiple accounts simultaneously known. That being said I don't think posting things such as "anyone who fucks with Frank Cheatstello, I and many others don’t endorse you and won’t work with you. We will leave the scum for another side of the game, you are not welcome in the community." is taking the high road. Frank recruits a lot of new players that just discovered this game (or returning players like myself that didn't know his reputation) and you're basically drawing a line in the sand saying "if you're contracted to his org, fuck you". I don't know where I'm going with this, I just don't agree with the methods I guess.
  5. Isn't this what is already happening for the most part?
  6. I'm in although I'm pretty trash. I'll also donate $1,000,000 to the tournament winner and $500,000 to the runner-up.
  7. If you ignore fight offers does the timer not still tick away? I was under the impression it was changed to allow fighters to wait out contracts. Ignore- NOT decline.
  8. That's a reason I can support. Running a fight org can quickly become your main focus on here. Glad you aren't letting the bad guys win.
  9. If you sold HFC because you want your free time back I understand but if you've done this because of Frank Costello... I feel like it was a mistake that let the terrorists win.
  10. I don't like this idea that some users feel like they're better than other users, even if those other users participate in reprehensible in-game behavior. It gives me this feeling that you're doing positive work with the expectation of superior status and I'm pretty sure that's not why you do all that you do. If being a good member of the community is so you'll have praise and thanks lavished upon you, you've been doing it for the wrong reasons. That being said I appreciate the work that you do around here. I just think you need to be a little thicker skinned and not so quick to abandon ship when you don't like one of the other passengers' behavior.
  11. Frank I've been pretty polite to you despite the constant accusations thrown your way whenever your name is mentioned. I even left one of my less important fighters in your org because you were the first organization that threw me contract offers upon my return. I'm pulling my oars out of the water in terms of "MONEY MONEY MONEY" going forward however. I believe that multies are a plague to this community because if it's not fair for me, it's not fair for thee. I've overlooked that when dealing with you because I haven't personally seen screen shots, only heard the same stories retold through new sources- sources I tend to trust. I take all of that with a grain of salt because sometimes guys are disliked. What I can't abide is dishonesty. I can't abide you sneering in the face of the community and flaunting your dishonesty and demanding that the rightful owner pay you to stop using his stolen avatars. In closing I'm not going to insult you and I'm not going to shit on you as everyone else does. However I will tell you with sincerity and the most polite words that I can muster: go fuck yourself, pal.
  12. Before taking this thread seriously, check out this manager's buzz activity for the last month.
  13. I can even play along with "fought professionally as a boxer" with lower skill levels but as soon as they start popping off with gold medals and championships when their boxing is mid level at best... not so much lol
  14. Lol while doing event writing in the past I asked guys to provide backgrounds for their fighters to enhance my previews. I received quite a few over the top responses including olympic gold medalist fighters with superb skills in-game, one guy wanted me to write that his fighter was a master assassin that transitioned to MMA. I usually play with those responses by saying that during fighter interviews, this fighter came off as unhinged and mentally unstable, rambling about assassins and the like.
  15. Benjamin Griffin RISE Fight League, Lightweight Division “I just wanted to put out this statement to say that I'm happy to be part of the RISE Fight League. I made my debut with Justice, who took me off the streets where I fought for ego. SENSEI gave me exposure to a broader audience and got me addicted to getting paid. And now with RISE I will test myself and see just how far this ship will sail. I know I ain't some world beater but I have a few good fights in me. As for Sage Rochester- I don't have anything bad to say about the kid. My girlfriend tells me he's real pretty- I don't like that. I'm going to make him a whole lot less pretty. He has the potential to have a solid career ahead of him but his winning streak stops here. I wish him the best but I'm gonna hurt him real bad. After this win I'm looking forward to facing someone like Splerkin or MacAlister. I figure Toby will be fighting for the gold next but he was my goal back when we fought for SENSEI. He's undefeated and loves to get in your teeth and trade shots. Plus you know them Scottish boys love to bang. I'm out.”
  16. I've been paid anywhere from $10k/write-up back in the day to $100k/per. It really depends on how many writers are available, how well you write and how consistently you can put out articles, and how well the org is doing. In today's landscape a writer would probably be pulling a minimum of 50k per article. But yeah it's hard to keep up if you have other obligations during the week. Don't let writing fictional articles become a part time job where you get paid in Tycoon dollars. The burnout rate for writers is high so pace yourself and be honest with the org owner about how much you can put out each week.
  17. When you're having fun it attracts others to do the same. If you start getting interactive on the smack talk thread, it may encourage others to do the same. That inadvertently attracts others to join the org to participate. It's not for everyone but it tickles some peoples' fancy
  18. As a former org owner it always warmed my heart to see managers promoting their fighters on the smack talk page. Write out little impromptu interviews, flesh out your fighter's "personality" if you will.
  19. The armhair screams "Forrest Griffin", the beard screams "Abraham Lincoln", and the hair on his head screams "Dracula". In short: I have no friggen clue.
