[undercard]

(Bantamweight Division) Alex Hadley (0-3) versus Gold man (5-7)

Alex Hadley is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Hilo, Hawaii, by way of Dudley, England. In three professional fights, Alex has been stopped in the opening round all three times.

Gold Man is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, although he was originally from Belize. Gold is a twelve fight veteran of the MMA cage. He began his career in the QFC arena where he won three of his five bouts there. His two losses came at the hands of future UGFC veterans Tomas Vincent and Timidus Campos. He fought twice for the Rapid Fighting Championship, submitting Sam Hunter while losing a bout to esteemed RFC veteran Obi Wan Kenobi. His next two bouts would come against the same man: The King Bjj. First they fought in the QFC, then they fought against one another under the UGFC banner. In both instances Man was defeated via unanimous decision. At UnderGround FC 9, Gold Man won the biggest fight of his career when he submitted former UGFC title challenger Kalvin Harper. In most recent times, Gold has been stopped by Curtis Jackson and defeated via decision by Mark Callus.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Frank Rothco (3-4) versus Aapo Jukola (3-0)

Frank Rothco is a boxing stylist with seven professional fights on his resume. After making a successful debut in the QFC arena, in which he bested Peter Mucha via unanimous decision, Frank signed with UnderGround Fight Club. After dropping his first two fights against Frank Ricochet and Lee Brown, Frank knocked out Bill From Killer Hill and Ace Giannis Ignacio. Most recently he has been defeated in bouts against Dexter Morgan and Jupiter Sakuraba.

Throughout his childhood, Aapo Jukola trained Greco Roman wrestling after school. While it was mostly done to stay in shape, he soon discovered tapes of the old UFC shows and became a die-hard fan of Randy Couture. This led him to signing up for active competition. He made his pro debut in the QFC arena where he faced Cleon Johnson. Aapo discovered that he had formidable power in this fight when he quickly hurt and finished Johnson with punches from the outside. Returning at UnderGround FC 8 he faced kickboxer Bill From Killer Hill. After avoiding the striking offense from Hill early, Jukola clinched and battered Hill with punches against the cage, stopping the fight in the opening minute. In his most recent bout, which happened at UnderGround FC 20, Aapo Jukola faced English boxer Mark Tindal. This would start out as the most even fight of Jukola's career as Tindal swarmed him with punches, chasing him around the cage. Jukola did his part to stay in the fight, circling and jabbing like a wild man to keep Tindal at bay. Jukola clinched and dominated the middle of the round with heavy body punches against the cage. A visibly winded Tindal circled free of the cage and Jukola swarmed him with heavy punches that put him down and out of the fight.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Datu Rizalia (4-3) versus Eddy Soprano (6-1)

Datu Rizalia is a world class kickboxing stylist and former UnderGround FC title challenger. All but one of his professional bouts have taken place in the UGFC cage. Although he found defeat in his pro debut, he went on a four fight winning streak which included wins over Lochlan Grant, Israel Montanyo, Ben Dover, and Sonny Liston. At UnderGround FC 9 he challenged reigning champion Colin Kaepernick for the title, but lost the bout via unanimous decision. Most recently, Datu represented UnderGround Fight Club at the FARTMMA v UnderGround event where he was stopped in the opening round by powerhouse Techno Viking.

Eddy Soprano is a submission fighter with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He came in second in the QFC 917 Super-Heavyweight Tournament, losing to Nufro Cacho via second round KO. After submitting Garfield Morin in the open range QFC arena, Eddy signed with UnderGround Fight Club. In his promotional debut, he defeated Joost Van Dijk via unanimous decision. In his most recent bout, he submitted Captain Placeholder at UnderGround FC 22.

(Bantamweight Division) Marcel Petiot (5-3) versus Caeser Kombomuizc (4-1)

Marcel Petiot is a Thai boxer from France. Currently living in Helsinki he trains out of the Hardpunch gym. After a successful pro debut against BJJ brown belt Jeans Bibelius, Marcel fought twice for the GET REKT promotion. While there he stopped Raju Vatys and Capt Sully. Afterwards, Marcel signed with FARTMMA where he moved up to featherweight. Continuing his winning ways, Marcel stopped Claude Dacre and Randy Drought in the opening round.

At FARTMMA 36, Marcel challenged reigning champion Miguel Harper for the featherweight title but was submitted with a first round kimura. Marcel fought once more under the FARTMMA banner, falling to Claude Dacre with a first round triangle choke. After signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Marcel was defeated by Oganeditse Gaolathe via unanimous decision and promptly changed management teams. This will be his first fight under new management.

Caeser Kombomuizc is a submission grappler from Baku, Azerbaijan. This Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt has relocated to Amsterdam where he trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility. He began his career with four appearances in the QFC arena where he quickly racked up four first round victories.

Without missing a beat, Caeser signed with UnderGround Fight Club and quickly accepted a match with highly touted striker Oganeditse Gaolathe. The fight would go all three rounds with Gaolathe controlling the action and keeping the fight at a striking distance, ultimate defeating Kombomuizc via unanimous decision.

(Welterweight Division) Uesugi Mochinori (2-1) versus Juraj Divisek (4-1)

Uesugi Mochinori is a Japanese kickboxer and accomplished grappler, although he only wrestles defensively. Having relocated to Los Angeles, California, Uesugi trains out of the private Fist of Fury Training Center alongside champions from GAMMA, Syn, and RISE.

Uesugi started his MMA career while living Hilo, Hawaii. There he took a one-off deal to fight for the Honolulu-Hilo MMA promotion, appearing at HonoHI 4. There he was scheduled to face Toussaint Bissainthe. For some reason the bout was scheduled to take place at bantamweight and thusly never took place. The two instead clashed under the Skrap House MMA banners, meeting at Skrap Fights 1. Bissainthe battered and repeatedly dropped Mochinori en route to stopping him midway through the third round.

Despite the setback, Uesugi signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 10 where he knocked Glenn Murray out cold in just twenty-six seconds. Uesugi returned for UnderGRound FC 20 to stop I Love You Man via third round TKO.

A Slovakian folkstyle wrestler, Juraj Divisek, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and learned striker. He currently lives in London, England, where he trains out of the private Riga gym.

Juraj began his career in the FARTMMA promotion, knocking out BJJ blue belt Liam Askren in just five seconds. Askren had a nifty Ben Askren avatar which is super ironic considering Ben Askren's most recent fight outcome. Next Juraj stopped Adam Jr Rabago, concluding his FARTMMA contract.

Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Juraj was booked to fight at UFC SNF 1 against BJJ blue belt Raj Escobar. Juraj made short work of Escobar, stopping him with strikes in the clinch midway through the opening round. Unfortunately Juraj would not be able to complete his bout against Owen Murray at UFC WNF 3 when Murray failed to make weight by a large number. At UnderGround FC 9 Juraj scored a big win when he stopped Whorely Alvarez late in the second round of their fight.

Most recently, Juraj competed at F50: FARTMMA vs Underground where he was defeated by Izzy Bangin via unanimous decision.

The best managers have to fight the best managers and also take (every now and then) the high risk/ low reward against anybody.

That was a big upset by a less known manager, Harper is a great champ and Pablo Sir is as good as they get at 340k and specially with his signature build, one of the most underrated managers in the game.

True story.

[Main Card]

(Featherweight Division) Ruslan Tagirbekov (4-1) versus Khal Yujiro (6-0)

Ruslan Tagirbekov is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from Makhachkala, Dagestan, although he currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Despite being a Vegas resident, he flies to Montreal, Canada, for combat training.

Ruslan began his career fighting for the Rapid Fighting Championship promotion of Sydney, Australia. At RapidFC 13 he submitted BJJ blue belt Pete Cain with a second round guillotine choke. He returned at RapidFC 15 to submit four fight veteran Raf Razos. Despite having nothing but success in the cage, he changed management teams. Ruslan next fought at RapidFC 22, knocking out BJJ purple belt Juan Villa on the feet with his newfound kickboxing skills. At Rapid Showdown in Tokyo 7, Ruslan faced defeat for the first time in his career when he was defeated by hard hitting striker Daquan Bowman via unanimous decision. At RFC Showdown in Tokyo 10, Ruslan submitted Craig Wius in the opening round.

After parting ways with the Rapid Fighting Championship, Ruslan Tagirbekov participated in the TWGC 25 Submission Grappling competition as a welterweight, but would lose a decision in the first round of the qualifiers to Russell Paulman.

Khal Yujiro is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter that brings his effective wrestling style into the UnderGround FC cage. Khal is a true finisher with all six of his victories coming by way of first round stoppage. In addition to a versatile submission game, when he traps you beneath him his ground and pound is second to none in his division. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, this formidable kiwi lives in Amsterdam where he trains out of the inferior Cozad's Gym. All six of his professional bouts have taken place in the QFC arena.

In his MMA debut, Khal was paired up with heavy handed Muay Thai striker Mudlight McKenzie. Yujiro brought the first to him in the early goings, cracking him with a few stiff punches before taking the man down and working him over with ground and pound until the referee stepped in to prevent a murder. Next he faced another Thai boxer in Nati Pisswater. This time he quickly established a clinch, got double underhooks, and dragged Pisswater to the canvas. After getting bored of punching Pisswater in the face, Yujiro decided to go for a strangle hold, submitting the man with a guillotine choke in just two minutes time. Yujiro tore through BJJ blue belts Dirk Armstrong and Hubert Nielson with neither bout leaving the first minute. Next he faced brawler Issac Armstrong, This time it would be Issac that brought Yujiro to the ground, but our protagonist quickly reversed to the top position and went to work with heavy ground and pound, stopping the man one minute and fifty seconds into the round.

In his most recent bout, Khal Yujiro was taken down by fellow wrestler Barry Partridge but submitted the man with a triangle choke to prove that he is dangerous on top and on the bottom.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Tohit Tohurt (7-4) versus Comrade Jibang (4-0)

Tohit Tohurt is an aptly named, hard hitting Muay Thai kickboxer from Tajikistan. Currently living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Tohit trains out of the Relentless Gym. This veteran from season nine of The Island has fought twice in the UnderGround Fight Club promotion, making a big splash early.

Tohurt began his career on The Island during its ninth season. He started out fighting for the Immunity Fighting Alliance promotion; in his professional debut he was stopped by future IFA title challenger Moon Up Sun Up. At ROTI-21 he faced 2-1 kickboxer Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Tohurt battered Tiure with heavy punches and kicks, hurting him badly and finishing him in three minutes flat.

At IFL: Let's Bang, Tohit Tohurt challenged reigning undefeated champion Turd McPherson. The fight would be a one sided affair with McPherson taking Tohurt down and working him over with ground and pound, eventually prompting a doctor's stoppage due to the cuts sustained by Tohurt.

Tohit was granted a rematch against Moon Up Sun Up at IVT Friday, knocking the man out in just eleven seconds to get his revenge. This would be his final bout with the Immunity Fighting Alliance, and he would soon sign with the Island Vale Tudo promotion instead.

As a fresh face in Island Vale Tudo, Tohit put together two more victories, knocking out Kylo Jahr and Leonardo Saggioro to put himself on a three fight winning streak.

At IVT 10, Tohit was granted the opportunity to challenge for the super-heavyweight championship. His opponent was power wrestler and fresh IVT champion Black Caesar. Tohit would go on to be submitted via armbar in the opening minute of his second title bid. Tohit fought once more on The Island, knocking out BJJ brown belt and former title challenger Ezekiel Oleynik in nine seconds.

Upon leaving The Island, Tohit signed with UnderGround Fight Club. His promotional debut came at UFC FNF 1. Due to his history of high level performance, he was granted a shot at the reigning super-heavyweight champion of the world, Colin Kaepernick. The fight would be one for the ages, with Kaepernick dominating the opening two rounds with his special blend of knees from the clinch. However in the third and final round, things would get interesting when Tohurt broke free from the clinch and kept the fight at a distance. From there he was able to hit the champion with shots that he hadn't received before nor has he endured since. Tohurt would clearly win the third round but Kaepernick would win the fight to keep his title.

Tohit's next two fights came against Boz Rutten. The first time was intentional, the second was simply a clerical error. Regardless both men accepted both fights and Tohit won both in a combined sixty-two seconds.

Now he stands poised, ready to put on the performance of his life with a rematch against Colin Kaepernick on the horizon with a victory here.

Comrade Jibang is a former resident of the People's Republic of Korea. However after leaving Pyongyang, North Korea, he set his sights on Las Vegas, Nevada, where he began training mixed martial arts at the Roosters Coop gym. This wrestling stylist is undefeated across four bouts in MMA with all four bouts taking place in the QFC arena.

In his pro debut, Comrade Jibang faced Brock Lesnar, another wrestler with a BJJ blue belt and six fight veteran of the cage. Jibang scored an early takedown on Lesnar and although he threatened with a submission, he was content to simply sit on top dropping bombs until the referee halted the contest.

Next he faced high level wrestler and seven fight veteran Thanasis Kon for the first of two total times. Kon scored an early takedown against Jibang but just when things seemed lost for the former North Korean, Jibang sneaked out the backdoor and took Kon's back, going to work with brutal strikes from this position. Kon quickly became a bloody mess and the referee had to stop the fight.

Next Jibang faced kickboxer Mckinley Vargas. After taking him down, Jibang beat the man with horrific ground and pound from guard, brutalizing the man and bloodying him just like Kon, once again prompting a doctor stoppage.

His most recent bout was a rematch against Thanasis Kon compliments of the QFC arena. In a near recreation of their first meeting, Kon scored the early takedown and Jibang revcrsed to the top position. Jibang went to work with brutal ground and pound from side control for half a minute before Kon's face resembled that guard that had his face stolen by Hannibal Lecter in 'Silence of the Lambs'.

Like his opponent, Jibang goes into this fight with the knowledge that a big win will lead him to Kaepernick and a shot at the title.

(Heavyweight Division) Oskar Schmidt (6-1) versus Torq Bosley (7-1)

Oskar Schmidt is a high level German folkstyle wrestler that has relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, to train mixed martial arts out of the private Black Flag Fight Club. Since becoming a mixed martial arts fighter, Schmidt has eaned a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Schmidt began his MMA career in the QFC arena, stopping BJJ blue belt Cole Norton and Danny Sliva before signing with UnderGround Fight Club.

In his UGFC debut, he faced fellow wrestler Yessir Kranicks at Friday Night Fights IV. Schmidt clinched, took Kranicks down, and worked him with ground and pound, knocking him out with big punches from mount. His next opponent, Mongali Samson, didn't fare much better at UFC WNF 1.

At UnderGround FC 5, Oskar Schmidt challenged Fray Tormenta for the heavyweight championship. The fight would last only thirty-three seconds with Schmidt taking The Champion down but falling into a triangle choke to lose the fight.

Schmidt rebounded at UnderGround FC 10, pounding Israel Montanyo late in the second round with strikes, prompting Montanyo to tap out. Most recently, Schmidt stopped Fedor Mazepin at UnderGround FC 18 in the second round with ground and pound.

Torq Bosley is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Germany that currently lives in Amsterdam where he trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility there. Torq has fought all eight of his professional bouts in the UnderGround cage.

His pro debut came at Friday Night Fights where he faced a bruiser named Dirk Van Der Jong. After eating some stiff punches early, Bosley took him down and submitted him in thirty-three seconds to win his first match. Next he faced Joost Van Dijk, besting him in a unanimous decision.

At UnderGround FC 1, Torq Bosley faced BJJ brown belt Total Badass for the inaugural UnderGround Fight Club super-heavyweight championship, which was really an honor to see who would be wearing the crown when Colin Kaepernick came to kick the shit out of the title bearer. The two submission fighters submission spammed for over five minutes before Badass ended the fight in a guillotine choke.

Next Bosley rematched Joost Van Dijk at Monday Night Fights, once again defeating him via unanimous decision. At UnderGround FC 4, Bosley faced Ze Serra, submitting him with a kimura in two minutes. At UnderGround FC 6 Bosley submitted power wrestler Kamen Kamenov. After making short work of Jeremy Hallogen, Torq Bosley has most recently knocked out Rowan Bell with his newly improved boxing game.

[Co-Main Event]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Barry Jones (10-2) versus Piet Smit (12-8)

Barry Jones is the former Some Fighting League light-heavyweight champion. He is is a freestyle wrestler from Adelaide, Australia, who currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, where he trains out of the private gym named Men Only. No Liberals! In addition to being an accomplished wrestler, Barry is a high level boxer and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt.

Barry Jones started his MMA career with a test fight in the QFC arena, besting Mikhail Mikhailov via unanimous decision. Immediately after his debut performance, Jones signed with the Some Fighting League of Amsterdam. He made his debut with the company at Some 4, dominating David Dukes with his wrestling en route to a unanimous decision victory. At Some 6 he knocked Lasse Stolpe out with ground and pound, starting a trend of stopping opponents in this fashion. Jones continued his winning ways at Some 7 when he stopped Jacon Brewer via first round TKO.

At Some 9, Jones faced former title challenger Jay Adams for the vacant heavyweight championship. Jones dominated Adams throughout the first round, hurting him badly with dirty boxing before finishing him in the second to become the new Some Fighitng League heavyweight champion. Jones successfully defended his title three times, stopping Dale Herengody and Jac Lyon while defeating Cedric Cabran via unanimous decision to retain the title.

At Some 20, Jones attempted to defend his title against a fellow high level wrestle/boxer named Oliver Lancaster. For both men the fight was like looking into a mirror as they utilized very similar tactics as each other in their fighting. After winning the opening round, Jones tired rapidly in the second before being stopped in the third to lose his coveted championship belt. Discouraged, Jones dropped his longtime management team although he continued to fight for the Some Fighting League for three more appearances.

He closed out his Some career with a big rematch victory over Dale Harengody but lost the rematch against the recently dethroned Oliver Lancaster. While Lancaster would be free to make a fresh run up the mountain seeking a champion's gold, Jones returned to the bottom of the pile. Jones finished his Some career with a unanimous decision over Cassius Bellatoo.

Piet Smit is the former 301st SPARTAN light-heavyweight champion. Piet competed on The Island during its ninth season where he fought out the majority of his bouts under 301st SPARTAN. He made it to round four of six of the season finale tournament. Most recently he made an unsuccessful bid to become the UnderGround Fight Club Light-Heavyweight Champion of the World. This Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt was originally born in Koekenaap, South Africa, but currently resides in Helsinki where he trains out of the Hardpunch mma gym.

Piet started his career with three appearances in the Immunity Fighting Alliance promotion, submitting Arnold Dalton but losing decisions to Wonderful Dragon and Jambe De Bois. After parting ways with the IFA, Piet Smit signed with 301st SPARTAN, making his debut with them at SPARTA 3, submitting Perry Fortin in just one minute and thirty seconds. It was his submission victory over Flint Beaswood that earned him a shot at the SPARTAN light-heavyweight championship.

At SPARTA 9, Smit faced Anthony Romeo for the inaugural championship title, submitting the future champion with an armbar in the first two minutes of the bout. At SPARTA 12, Smit was submitted by Royce Gracie. Due to a clerical error, however, the bout was filed as a non-title fight. The two rematched at SPARTA 15 and this time it was Smit that submitted Gracie to retain the title. Smit made his second successful title defense at SPARTA 18, submitting Nqobile Ndlandia with a late armbar in the opening round.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and that which rises must eventually fall. At SPARTA 22, Piet Smit made his final walk to the cage wearing a champion's title. His opponent was Anthony Romeo, a heavy handed striker. The fight would be a bloody affair with Smit receiving several lacerations on his face while trying to hang in there and survive. Ultimately Smit would go down late in the second, relinquishing his title to the Canadian brawler. Smit would go on to fight four more times in the SPARTAN promotion, but would never recapture that early glory that came with the title. In his final appearance with 301st SPARTAN, Smit lost a non-title rematch against Anthony Romeo.

Smit fought in the final tournament of The Island, defeating Augustin Suares, Cesare Tiramanti, and Anton Shibaev before losing a decision against Eric Whitaker.

Back in the open world, Piet Smit was a hotly sought after fighter to sign and UnderGround Fight Club managed to sign him. At UnderGround FC 16, Smit challenged reigning light-heavyweight champion Robert Harper for his title. Although the champion would dominate the opening two rounds with his clinch fighting, Smit managed to score a takedown and out wrestle Harper in the third round. It wouldn't be enough to capture the title, however, and Harper would retain his glory for the time being.

At UnderGround FC 23, Piet Smit defeated Mats Sundin via unanimous decision.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190719020246K8HbNKi_d.jpg(Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Tyson James (11-4) versus Fray Tormenta© (13-1)

Tyson James is the former two-time Alcatraz beatdown heavyweight champion and former Immunity Fighting Alliance heavyweight champion. He won these titles while competing on The Island during its ninth season. Despite his otherworldly success during his stint on The Island, he found limited success in the finale tournament.

You wouldn't have guessed at the level of career that James would have based on his pro debut. At Alcabeat4.1 he was submitted by Leonardo Saggioro early in the opening round. After that, however, he would go on an absolute tear, stopping Mackie McCoist, Brock Lesnar, Devin Forte, and Bailey Blue.

At AB15, James challenged and finished reigning Alcatraz beatdown and future IFA and FARTMMA champion Kyle Cobra to become the undisputed Alcatraz beatdown heavyweight champion. Unfortunately he would lose the title in his first bid to defend it when he was submitted by App Test.

At AB20 James rematched Kyle Cobra in a non-title fight where he once again finished Cobra with strikes. At AB22 James challenged the new heavyweight champion, Mister Tea, for the title and defeated him via first round TKO. James successfully defended his AB title this time, stopping Bryan Mayhem at AB23. This would be his final appearance with Alcatraz beatdown.

Upon signing with the Immunity Fighting Alliance he immediately challenged reigning heavyweight champion Downwith Drago for the title. The fight took place at IFA 14:03 with James stopping Drago late in the second round. James successfully defended his title against Turd McPherson at IFA 28:03, knocking the man out cold with strikes.

At IFA 11.04, Tyson James was defeated by Oroku Saku, losing his championship title. James would not be seen again until the finale tournament, where he was submitted by Kylo Jahr in the opening round. Humiliated, Tyson James parted ways with his management team.

Under new management, James signed with UnderGround Fight Club and made his promotional debut against Karlos Vemola at UnderGround FC 15. James easily defeated Vemola to earn himself this title shot.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190719020246K8HbNKi_d.jpgFray Tormenta© is the reigning defending undisputed UnderGround Fight Club Heavyweight Champion of the World. This former street fighting legend is a true world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Originally from Acapulco, Mexico, Fray has relocated to New York, USA, although he trains out of the London based Riga private facility. In addition to being the reigning UnderGround champion, he is the former FARTMMA heavyweight champion as well.

This Jiu-Jitsu wizard began his MMA career with a QFC bout, submitting Steve Rodgers via twenty-four second triangle choke. He made his FARTMMA debut immediately after, participating in the heavyweight creation tournament labeled 'Battle of the Behemoths'. In round one of the tournament, he submitted boxer Boomerang Farts. In the second round he submitted kickboxer Sam Hangman. In the semifinals he defeated Domenic Curtis with an armbar. And in the finals to win the tournament and the heavyweight championship, Fray Tormenta submitted Rexx Howler in under one minute.

Tormenta successfully defended his title at FARTMMA 9, submitting Sam Hangman in a rematch of their earlier bout. However at FARTMMA 15, Tormenta would be dethroned by the man that he submitted to win the belt: Rexx Howler. Tormenta would fight twice more for FARTMMA, submitting Hendrikas Kamaras and Horacio Romeu Pinto. Next he would go on to sign with UnderGround Fight Club.

Fray Tormenta made his UGFC debut at UnderGround FC 1, submitting fellow BJJ man Big Brown to win the inaugural heavyweight championship.

At UnderGround FC 2, Tormenta faced Fedor Mazepin to make his first attempted title defense. Tormenta clinched, pulled guard, and submitted Mazepin in under two minutes to successfully defend his crown. Since then, Fray Tormenta has been nigh invulnerable with submission victories over Oskar Schmidt, Josh Peterson, and Rio Silva.

Even here tonight against a dangerous opponent and former champion like Tyson James, Tormenta is a -135 favorite to win.

Fray Tormenta holds the record for having most consecutive wins in UnderGround Fight Club history with seven, in addition to most submission victories (7), and most title defenses with four.

[undercard]

-[bantamweight Division: Alex Hadley vs. Gold Man

Round 1 – Hadley opened with a trip takedown into half guard on top. Hadley spent the majority of the opening round working on a kimura while Gold Man floundered from below. Man did manage to get into full guard and threaten with a triangle choke at one point. Late in the round, Man reversed to the top position when Hadley rolled for some sort of leg lock.

Round 2 – Hadley scored a double leg takedown into side control to start this round off. Man got back to half guard immediately. Hadley went to work with ground and pound, scoring points while holding the position. However Hadley mostly stalled on top, doing enough to not get stood up, while also threatening with the occasional submission.

Round 3 – Hadley shot in with a double leg takedown and landed in side control. This time when he went for the kimura, there was no resistance. Alex Hadley def. Gold Man via Submission (Kimura) at 0:26 of round 3.

-[Light-Heavyweight Division: Frank Rothco vs. Aapo Jukola

Round 1 – Jukola opened with a slapping body kick followed by a beautiful counter leg kick. Rothco answered with an uppercut. Jukola picked up the pace, landing punches and kicks seemingly at will and Rothco all but shut down under the assault. Jukola clinched two minutes in, this is where he truly shines. Jukola spent the remainder of the round pressing Rothco against the cage hammering him with short range punches.

[undercard]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Mark Tindal (0-2) versus Dmitry Boitsov (0-0)

Mark Tindal is an English boxer hailing from London where he trains out of the Tycoon Gym. Mark made his MMA debut in a local show where he faced BJJ blue belt and two fight veteran Yourhope Endshere. Although he would go on to be submitted in the opening round, Tindal showed moments of grace on the ground, escaping from one dangerous position and reversing to the top in another moment. In his UnderGround debut, Mark was paired up with Greco Roman standout Aapo Jukola who ran through him against the cage.

Dmitry Boitsov is an MMA newcomer from St Petersburg, Russia. Currently training out of the St Petersburg MMA Gym. Dmitry is reportedly capable of fighting in all areas of the cage but specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he holds a brown belt in.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Ace Giannis Ignacio (3-6) versus Valentin Taneyev (1-1)

Brother to fellow UnderGround fighter Xyryx Ignacio, Ace Giannis Ignacio is a high level boxer from Manila in the Philippines. Unlike his brother, Ace resides in New York, New York, where he trains out of the private Just Train gym. Ace is a veteran of nine professional MMA bouts including four appearances in the QFC arena. When Ace signed an exclusive contract with UnderGround Fight Club, he was riding back-to-back QFC victories which included a win over Kyle Peralta and a domination of Archibald Lee. Unfortunately he has struggled to recapture that magic while under contract with UGFC, suffering three stoppage victories in a row against the killers of the light-heavyweight division, which includes: James Moriarty, Frank Rothco, and Tremaine Wiltshire.

Valentin Taneyev is a world class Muay Thai stylist from St Petersburg, Russia. Like his opponent he currently lives in New York, New York. Representing the private Big Bear Fight Factory gym, Valentin has fought twice as a professional mixed martial artist. In his MMA debut, Valentin signed up to compete on a local fight card. His opponent for the night was fellow kickboxer Babul Abudalib of Madagascar. Valentin controlled the fight from inside the clinch, winning all three rounds cleanly to walk away with a dominant, albeit slightly uneventful unanimous decision victory. Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Valentin agreed to face fellow Muay Thai fighter Philo Beddo li. Although he would put together some strikes in the clinch, Valentin struggled to keep up with the pace and aggression of Philo, who would win the decision.

(Heavyweight Division) Lindsay Tucker (1-2) versus Kenneth Wellwood (2-1)

Lindsay Tucker is a submission fighter with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This Los Angeles native receives zero professional training, relying on his experience in BJJ to carry him through his career. Lindsay has fought three times in pro MMA. In his debut he was paired up with journeyman kickboxer Ted Goat who couldn't keep Tucker off of him for a second. Tucker scored a takedown and submitted Goat in under two minutes. As a newly signed fighter with UnderGround Fight Club, he was paired up with BJJ blue belt and five fight veteran Horacio Romeu Pinto. After being taken down in the opening round, Tucker struggled to find a submission from the bottom but was eating heavy ground and pound instead. Nearly three minutes in, the referee stopped the fight to protect a badly hurt Tucker from further punishment. Lindsay's most recent bout came at UnderGround FC 13 where he faced brawler Patrick Bower. Lindsay Tucker would experience all of the raw punching power of Bower early, hurting him badly and putting him out of the fight in just twenty-five seconds.

Kenneth Wellwood is a heavy handed brawler from Moncton, Canada, who currently resides in Montreal, Canada, where he trains out of Whitey's Gym. Before becoming a UGFC fighter, Kenneth fought twice in the smaller QFC arena. First he was paired up with wrestler Jungru Skar. After being taken down early, Kenneth survived to his feet and went to work with punishing shots that hurt Skar to the head and body. Kenneth finished Skar with punches against the cage. Next he faced three fight veteran and BJJ blue belt Miguel Gould. Once again the raw power and aggression of Kenneth proved too formidable for his foe and Gould went down in just over a minute. Upon signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Wellwood faced high level striker Yardbird Knox. Kenneth did his best but was dominated in every facet of the fight, especially in the clinch where Knox was able to control and land shots.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Tremaine Wiltshire (4-1) versus Patrick Bower (2-4)

Tremaine Wiltshire is a Muay Thai striker from Skelmersdale, England, also known as “Skem” to locals. Known for his dynamic striking ability, Tremaine has finished every opponent that he has defeated and never gone past the second round. In his early career, Tremaine fought three times in the QFC arena, brutally knocking out all three opponents which included big wins over Alexander Gustafsson and Yourhope Endshere. A hot prospect in the light-heavyweight division, Tremaine signed with UnderGround Fight Club. His debut opponent was power puncher Daana Wyte. The two strikers traded blows early but the pressure of Wyte was enough to put Wiltshire on his rear foot and a left hook was enough to put Wiltshire out cold. At UnderGround FC 18, Wiltshire turned it all around in a fight against Ace Giannis Ignacio. Wiltshire showed some new wrinkles in his game in this fight, scoring an early takedown and clinching with Ignacio, smothering him with constant attack before finishing him with elbows against the cage.

Originally from from Chicago, Illinois, Patrick Bower currently lives in Helsinki, Finland where he trains his boxing in the Blanc Fitness Academy. After an unsuccessful pro debut against Nero Zero in the QFC arena, Patrick signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his promotional debut at the Mid Week Mashups event where he was submitted by BJJ blue belt Lars Bullock. At UFC SNF 1 he faced pugilist John Daugherty; Bower put on a striking clinic against Daugherty, beating him to the punch reliably before knocking him out in the opening round. At UnderGround FC 5, Bower was defeated by BJJ blue belt Doland Mo via unanimous decision. After defeating BJJ purple belt Lindsay Tucker at UnderGround FC 13, Bower was defeated by Over Power via split decision.

(Heavyweight Division) Philo Beddo li (3-2) versus Lars Bullock (3-4)

Philo Beddo li is a five fight MMA veteran from Las Vegas, Nevada. Philo is a Muay Thai striker that trains out of the Roosters Coop gym. Philo has fought his entire career with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his debut at Mid Weeks Mashup 2, defeating Bill From Killer Hill via unanimous decision. At UFC SNF 1, Philo was knocked out by high level striker Huwan Bagwis. At UFC SNF 1, Philo was taken down and finished with ground and pound by Wres Pro. Philo has since rebounded with back-to-back victories over Milos Petrasek and Valentin Taneyev, beating both via unanimous decision.

A native of Malmo, Sweden, Lars Bullock has since relocated to Amsterdam to be closer to the UnderGround corporate offices. Training out of The Coffee Shop, Lars utilizes a combination of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in his fights. Lars started his MMA career at Friday Night Fights III where he was submitted by BJJ brown belt Big Brown. Lars rebounded with a submission victory over Patrick Bower. At UnderGround FC 2, Bullock was knocked out by high level boxer Israel Montanyo. After knocking out Yessir Kranicks with a head kick at UFC MNF 1, he dropped a unanimous decision to Rowan Bell. At UnderGround FC 14, Bullock defeated Bubba Hippo via unanimous decision. Most recently, Bullock was submitted by undefeated BJJ purple belt Jack Jones at UnderGround FC 24.

[Main Card]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Juhani Jukola (2-0) versus Artemis Thaddeus lii (2-1)

Juhani Jukola is from Nurmijarvi, Finland, who currently lives in London, England. Despite coming into mixed martial arts with a wrestling background, Juhani has fought exclusively like a boxer. In his MMA debut, Juhani faced submission wrestler Yakhya Diene in the QFC arena. Jukola stayed technical, circling on the outside. He used his wrestling to stay on his feet while picking Diene apart with punches before hurting and finishing him forty-three seconds in.

After inking an exclusive contract with UnderGround Fight Club, Juhani Jukola agreed to face Muay Thai stylist Suzuki Sakurai at UnderGround FC 24. Despite the striking background advantage of his opponent, Jukola pushed forward with power punches that repeatedly dropped the man. Midway through the opening round, Jukola put Sakurai down and out cold.

Artemis Thaddeus lii is a Muay Thai kickboxer from Stockholm, Sweden who currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Representing Valhalla MMA, Artemis has fought two of his three bouts in the QFC arena before signing with UGFC.

In his MMA debut, Artemis faced BJJ blue belt Xxx Xxx in the QFC. Although Xxx initiated the clinch, he was on the receiving end of strikes from the beginning bell to the end of the fight. Artemis proved to be too much for the grappler, knocking him out midway through the opening round. In a second appearance in the QFC, Artemis faced wrestler Christian Danger. Artemis made short work of Christian, battering him with punches on the feet and finishing him in the second minute of the opening round.

After signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Artemis agreed to face KO artist Desperately To Be Positive at UnderGround FC 23. Though Artemis would land far more punches and seemly control the tempo of the fight, it would be Positive who ended the match with a big combination midway through the round.

(Heavyweight Division) Abel Adonias (2-0) versus Randy Hill (3-0)

Abel Adonias is a hard hitting boxer from San Diego, California, who currently lives in Amsterdam in The Netherlands where he trains out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber alongside DeMarcus Diallo. Abel started his MMA career in the QFC arena facing off against Muay Thai striker K T Backup. Throughout the opening two minutes of the round, both men landed strikes in the center of the cage. After receiving some big punches and having a cut opened over his eye, Backup clinched with Adonias and attempted to trap him against the cage. Adonias reversed the position and went to work with heavy uppercuts to the head and body, hurting him badly and prompting a referee stoppage. Abel made his UnderGround debut at UnderGround FC 22 against fellow boxer Israel Montanyo. Throughout the opening round of the bout against Montanyo, Adonias bettered the man with strikes while slipping punches from the outside. In the second round, Adonias pushed forward swinging heavy punches that put Montanyo out cold and out of the fight.

Randy Hill is a former freestyle wrestler and undefeated mixed martial arts fighter. This longtime Las Vegas resident receives no official training in his fighting career. All three of his pro bouts took place in the QFC arena.

Randy's MMA debut came against Jason Jordan, who had competed as a professional kickboxer on the side despite being primarily a submission fighter in MMA. Hill made easy work of Jordan, taking him down and working him over with heavy elbows to knock him out. Randy returned to the QFC to face BJJ purple belt Captain Alex. Hill took Alex down immediately and went to work with ground and pound. Alex attempted to roll for an armbar and ate more punches for his trouble. Hill postured up and began dropping heavier shots from guard, knocking Alex out cold.

In his most recent bout, which marked the end of his QFC run, Randy faced off against boxer Wyatt Burp. Perhaps Burp could have been the first one to withstand the onslaught of ground and pound from Hill; we will never know since the referee and ringside doctor stopped the fight due to the very many cuts opened on the face of Burp.

(Heavyweight Division) Yardbird Knox (2-0) versus John Daugherty (3-2)

With a background in Muay Thai, Yardbird Knox is an undefeated veteran of two MMA bouts. Originally from Canada, Yardbird lives in London, England, where he trains out of the Brotherhood MMA gym.

Yardbird Knox took his first professional fight in the QFC arena where he faced fellow striker Ramzan Agaev. Agaev was undefeated in MMA and had an extensive kickboxing career as well. The fight would be fairly one sided although Knox would take his bruises from the three round affair before taking the decision.

Yardbird made his UnderGround debut at Underground FC 25 against undefeated brawler Kenneth Wellwood. Recognizing the danger of his opponent at a range, Knox made sure to clinch with Wellwood, working him over with shots en route to a decision victory.

John Daugherty is a hard hitting boxer from Fordyce, Arkansas that has relocated to Hilo, Hawaii. A long time teammate of the private Ferocious Beast gym, John has fought out the entirety of his MMA career under contract with the UnderGround Fight Club promotion with all five of his fights ending via brutal knockout. Win or lose, John Daugherty guarantees someone is leaving his fights with brain damage.

John made his MMA and promotional debut at the Friday Night Fights IV event where he knocked out blue belt wrestler Horacio Romeu Pinto in just fifty-three seconds. Romeu had dreams of winning the fight in the clinch but unfortunately those dreams ended when the referee woke him from his state of unconsciousness. At UFC SNF 1, Daugherty was paired up with fellow heavy handed brawler Patrick Bower. The fight would be a two minute slug fest with Bower coming out on top with the KO victory.

While some careers may end because of a big knockout loss, the rabid fanbase clammored for more Daugherty in their lives. He returned to the cage at UFC MNF 2 to face boxer Karlos Vemola. The two fighters participated in what the bloodthirsty fans affectionately refer to as “rock 'em sock 'em robots” in the center of the cage for all of thirty-five seconds before Vemola went down hard from a right hand. At UnderGround FC 7, BJJ brown belt Ben Dover found himself ironically face down following three hard punches from Daugherty, who ended it in eighteen seconds.

At UnderGround FC 22, John Daugherty took a major step up in competition to face the man that I believe will one day rule the UGFC heavyweight division, undefeated Greco Roman wrestler turned kickboxer Henry Akinwande. The two warriors traded heavy punches in the center of the cage and everytime Akinwande felt that Daugherty was gaining too much steam, he would clinch and work the man over with punches against the cage. Forty-six seconds into the second round, Daugherty went down for the second time in his career.

[Co-Main Event]

(Lightweight Division) Kron Gracie (6-0) versus Trayvon Martin (5-0)

A six fight veteran of mixed martial arts, Kron Gracie is undefeated with four of his victories coming by way of submission in the opening round. Kron is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that has relocated to Helsinki, Finland, where he trains out of the Hardpunch gym.

Kron started his MMA career with two appearances in the QFC arena. First he was paired up with BJJ brown belt Axl Rose. After Rose scored an early takedown, the two submission specialists battled for position, rolling to and fro. Midway through the opening round, Gracie took Rose's back and locked in the fight ending rear naked choke. For his second QFC bout, he was paired up with BJJ blue belt Buford Barnes. Both men raced forward looking to get their attack off first. Barnes clinched with Gracie early and went to work with dirty boxing. Gracie responded by executing a judo throw into side control. Once on the ground, Gracie quickly locked in the fight ending kimura. Immediately after, Gracie signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

Making his debut at UFC WNF 2, Graice faced fellow purple belt Curly Hannigan. Although Hannigan was able to escape to his feet twice, he could not keep Gracie off of him and the inevitable happened: Gracie submitted Hannigan with a first round armbar to end the fight. Kron Gracie returned for UnderGround FC 12 to face accomplished wrestler and fellow BJJ purple belt Jay Popotrek. Widely considered to be the biggest challenge in Gracie's career, Popotrek wasted no time in shooting for a takedown that was stuffed by Gracie. Both men traded failed takedown attempts while throwing out some of the sloppiest and wildest strikes to grace the UnderGround cage. Nearly three minutes in, Popotrek scored a double leg takedown and fell right into the high guard of Gracie, who ended it all with a triangle choke.

At UnderGround FC 20, Kron Gracie for the first tine in his career was paired up with somebody possessing superior Jiu-Jitsu to his own. The man was Kay Teptrom, an undefeated brown belt that also called Rio home. Many suspected that we would see the ugly sprawl and brawl style from the Popotrek fight return as Gracie would express too much timidity to challenge the brown belt on the ground, but he wasted no time in dispelling that rumor. In all three rounds, Gracie dominated Teptrom with superior wrestling and positions while searching for the submission. In the end he would have to settle for a unanimous decision victory.

Kron Gracie made his most recent appearance at UnderGround FC 28. His dance partner of the evening was Johny Boom, another Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. Gracie dominated Boom on the ground. Every successful advance from Boom was undone by Gracie who attempted fifteen submissions but instead walked away with a one sided unanimous decision victory.

Trayvon Martin is an undefeated mixed martial artist with five professional fights on his record. Originally from Sanford, Florida, Trayvon currently lives in New York, New York, where he receives zero professional training. All five of his professional bouts have taken place inside the QFC arena. Trayvon utilizes a wrestling base and has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on the side.

Trayvon's professional debut came against brawler Brad Pinkshirt. When Pinkshirt came out wild and reckless, Martin was able to shoot under his punches and bring the fight to the ground. From there it was a one sided affair; Martin quickly found himself on top dropping big punches on his opponent. Fortunately for him, his opponent didn't carry a gun into the ring.

Next Trayvon was paired up with BJJ blue belt stylist Sung Guerra who thought about putting up a defense against Martin's assault but couldn't quite pull the trigger on it. Martin took him down and pounded him like an overweight Hispanic man- sorry I mean white man.

Third verse, same as the first. In his third bout, Martin faced Brad Pinkshirt in a rematch. Martin had the good graces to let Pinkshirt escape into the third round for this fight but hurt him very badly in each round leading up to the finish.

When Trayvon faced Edgar Hanson, we saw him successfully submit his first opponent. He had teased submissions in the past but contended himself with simply pounding foes out instead. However when he faced fellow blue belt Edgar Hanson, he forced submission in his first attempt with very little ground and pound in the prelude.

In Martin's most recent fight, he met up with boxer Lincoln Morissette. A fellow blue belt on the ground, Morissette at least put up a struggle while on his back. He proved himself unwilling to allow Martin to simply ground and pound him into defeat, instead opting to fight and struggle. Unfortunately for him, the top heavy Martin opened him up like a bag of skittles and finished him with ground and pound.

(Featherweight Division) Sylvian Lievremont (5-1) versus Hans Richter (5-2)

A former contestant from the ninth season of The Island, Sylvian Lievremont competed five times as a mixed martial artist and once as a submission grappler. Originally from Paris, France, Sylvian is a very high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt that has competed as a featherweight, a lightweight, and a welterweight across his pro career.

Sylvian's natural walking around weight is 156 lbs. Keep this information in the back of your mind as I write this review because Sylvian's weight bounces around like he's Tom Hardy preparing for movie roles.

Sylvian Lievremont began his MMA journey in the QFC arena as a featherweight. His opponent was a kickboxer named Kick Boxing, go figure. After eating a big right hand in the opening seconds of the fight, Lievremont scored the takedown that both men knew was coming and quickly passed from guard to side control, locking in a fight ending armbar.

Sylvian then signed a two fight contract with Island Vale Tudo as a welterweight, making his debut at IVT 2. There he faced high level boxer Sparring Dummy who had zero grappling whatsoever. Care to place a wager how this fight ended? If you guessed: Lievremont took him down and submitted him in under one minute, you win the grand prize. Please contact Mike Tycoon for your winnings. Sylvian returned to the Vale Tudo cage for IVT Wednesday to face Frank McMillian. Just like Dummy, McMillian was a great boxer with zero defensive grappling ability. Unlike Dummy, McMillian couldn't make it past the thirty-three second mark of the opening round before tapping out. Sylvian returned to Island Vale Tudo for a one-off appearance at their submission grappling event called IVT Test. There he submitted power wrestler Bob Goblin via triangle choke.

Sylvian Lievremont competed in the final tournament of The Island. During round 1 of the tournament, he was paired up with Frankie Khan, an undefeated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from the 301st SPARTAN promotion. Lievremont dominated Khan for the duration of the opening round and was well on his way towards repeating the performance in the second round when he took the man's back and submitted him with a rear naked choke. In round 2 of the tournament, Lievremont was paired up with another Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt named Royler Gracie. Though Lievremont would win the opening two rounds of the fight with his superior wrestling ability, both would be very closely scored. In the third round, Lievremont scored a takedown into the guard of Gracie, falling into a guillotine choke that forced him to submit.

Knocked from the tournament and free from The Island, Sylvian Lievremont competed in the TWGC 25 welterweight grappling tournament. In the opening round of the tournament, Lievremont would be submitted by tournament finalist Harry Baals via triangle choke.

Most recently, Sylvian Lievremont signed an exclusive contract with UnderGround Fight Club. At UnderGround FC 27, Sylvian was paired up with top contender and undefeated knockout artist Joe Smith. After Smith over extended himself on his opening punches, Lievremont took Smith down with ease. Smith popped right back up to his feet but was immediately taken down once again. While Smith flailed wildly in his telegraphed attempts to escape to his feet, Lievremont passed into side control while isolating the arm of Smith for a submission. Nearly three minutes into the opening round, Sylvian Lievremont shook up the UnderGround Fight Club world when he submitted Joe Smith with a kimura.

Hailing from Badenburg, Germany, Hans Richter is a high level Muay Thai striker that currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. A student of the prestigious Doom's Gym, Hans has adapted a great defensive grappling game to compliment his striking offense.

Hans made his MMA debut at PSE 25 where he faced off against wrestling British wrestler Hallo Ween. Although Richter would hurt Ween in the opening round, the fight would go late into the second before the striking of Richter would overwhelm Ween. At PSE 28, Hans was paired up with fellow striker Jamal Lyttle. Hans Richter dominated Jamal Lyttle throughout the opening round before knocking him out in the second.

At PSE 33, Hans faced future UnderGround Fight Club champion Tree Fortay. Although Richter would have his moments early against Fortay, he would eventually succumb to the future champion's strikes late in the opening round. Richter's final bout with PhoQus Sports Enterprise took place at PSE 39. His opponent was Simba Moso, a Muay Thai striker with decent BJJ. The fight was a close one with both fighters having their moments during the three round affair.

Next Hans Richter signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his promotional debut at UnderGround FC 10 against hard hitting boxer Anthony Jackson. Utilizing a mixture of effective striking, clinchwork, and wrestling, Richter cleanly won all three rounds against the reliably durable Jackson.

At UnderGround FC 19, Hans Richter was paired up with hard hitting iron jawed undefeated top contender “Average” Joe Smith. The fight would be a bloody back and forth affair with both men having their moments of dominance. However it would be Joe Smith that walked away with all three rounds of victory behind him.

At UnderGround FC 27, Richter was “fed” to another top contender with a striking pedigree; this time his opponent was Kyle Kristian Galeos. Galeos was 7-1 with his lone defeat coming from an attempt to dethrone reigning featherweight champion Reginald Budgiehandler. Although the striking of Galeos would be enough to dominate the opening round, the tides would shift in the second with Richter pulling ahead with strikes. The final round was all Richter who took his lead and ran with it, coming away with a unanimous decision victory.

Thanks Brother I appreciate it glad finally getting some recognition Lol  :wheelchair:

The best managers have to fight the best managers and also take (every now and then) the high risk/ low reward against anybody.

That was a big upset by a less known manager, Harper is a great champ and Pablo Sir is as good as they get at 340k and specially with his signature build, one of the most underrated managers in the game.

True story.
