This week we have duelling Event Previews! Sorry doing this on my phone so I will clean up the formatting tonight.

Another night full of excitement for the Synchronicity organization! We have a cross organization super fight between champions as the main event and two title matches being featured in the main card as a special treat for the fans! The event will be held at the LA Memorial Colossuseum and is expecting to have a sold out crowd to fill up the 93,607 seats available for purchase! And most importantly, our merchandise partners at Reaper Combatwear have made strong efforts to support us in order for this event to happen in the first place! Now, lets get down to the in-depth look of each fight on the main card!

Main Event: Chief Tappenahoma vs Taisto Perala

The chief of the 170lbs division in all of MMA, being ranked in his weight class at #1 and in the world at #2, Tappenahoma truly has paved his own path to greatness at the ripe age of 31 years old. The current champion of the EVO organizations 170lbs division, currently on five fight winning streak with three of those being title defenses, he is looking for a new test and Perala just might be it. A total record 27-6-2 with 19 TKOs, the world class boxer who has been noted for his insane flexibility, Tappenahoma is the total package and has experience to back up anything he says during the press conferences. The only weakness anyone could even attempt to say Tappenahoma has would be his brown belt in Brazillian Jiu-jitsu, but you have to get him on the ground to exploit it first.

The champion of the one and only Synchronicity 170lbs division, Taisto Perala is a force to be reckoned with. A 29-10-1 record with 14 TKOs and 12 decision wins, he has a great balance of being able to control the match and then finish it when he has tired out his opponents. Previously a major part of the EVO organization, he has continued his undefeated streak of 6 into Synchronicity and is looking to extend it to 7. Ranked on multiple media outlets as the second ranked 170lbs fighter in the world and #8 in the world pound for pound, Perala has done a lot to solidify his legacy as he is now 30 years old. A strategist who makes use of his boxing, muay thai and wrestling at key points of a match, Tappenahoma will be hard pressed to predict what his opponent will do. We are looking for Perala to control the pace and to not miss the few opportunities he will get to capitalize on a mistake.

Co-Main Event: George Pedro vs Keiji Mutou [205lbs Title Match]

The myth, the man, the legend George Pedro is the light heavyweight and middleweight champion of Synchronicity. He is defending his light heavyweight belt against Keiji Mutou. The number one light heavyweight fighter in the world, he is the fifth best fighter pound for pound in the world, he has a record of 35-9-7 with 21 TKos and 14 decisions and is simply the top of his class. With an elite all around game highlighted by his BJJ and incredible finishing power, the challenger will have to prepare extensively for this champion.

The Natural Born Master, AKA Keiji Mutou, might have what it takes to dismantle the current champion. Some might say he should retire as currently he is 39 years old, but with that 32-14-2 record, other pundits suggest Mutou having seen all that MMA has to offer is an advantage for him. #9 in the world for his weight class and #57 in the world pound for pound, he has been recognized as an elite fighter throughout time. With the knowledge of what to expect from some veterans combined with his mastery of all disciplines of MMA, Mutou needs to make it through five rounds with concentration and a solid plan in order to force mistakes and bring the belt home to his training camp. He cannot afford any lack of preparation if he wants to keep up his 7 fight win streak.

Main Card #1: Joaquim Rapture vs Don Juan Matus [145lbs Title Match]

Joaquim Rapture is third in the world for his weight class and #21 on the pound for pound fighter rankings in the world. Everyone who does not live under a rock know who he is and his contributions to MMA. At 34 years old, he has more years left in the tank no matter what anyone else says. Nine wins in a row with four of those being title defenses, he is on an absolute tear and is looking to continue his momentum with a fifth successful title defense in the works. 30-13 with 12 TKOs, 4 Subs and 14 Decisions, Joaquim has multiple ways to strategize against his opponents which makes it harder for anyone to break his win streak. Be on the look out for his elite Muay Thai clinch game and uncanny ability to control the pace of a fight.

Don Juan Matus is ranked #91 in the world in the pound for pound fighter rankings and 14 in his weight class. From what I have seen, the only knock on him is his lack of finishes so far in his career of 24-11-2. At thirty years old, Matus is getting up in age and losing valuable time to prove his critics wrong. On paper, Matus should defeat Rapture with no problem with his skill set and genius-like mastery of multiple martial art disciplines. With concerns of consistency plaguing The Naguals resume, we are hoping that Matus lives up to the expectation. There are no weaknesses in his game other than himself, so it will be interesting to see what mental training his camp has put him through to prepare for the fight.

Main Card #2: Abraham Donowitz vs Viktor Tsoi [145lbs]

Donowitz sadly just lost his title to Rapture, looking to stop the downward spiral and push himself back into contention. At 34 years old, his clock is ticking. A record of 36-15-1 with 11 TKOs and 20 decisions, Donowitz has to make sure he works harder to finish fights rather than leaving it up to the judges. Ranked at 8th in the world in his weight class and #61 in the world in the pound for pound rankings and being a well-known star in Synchronicity for quite some time now, he will be looking to answer back to his fans who are looking for better performances. Behind his insane flexibility and world-class caliber boxing skills, Donowitz should be motivated enough to deliver on either a KO or a dominating decision victory over Viktor.

Viktor is a former champion in the EVO organization, absolutely dominating the circuit for almost two years as he won fight after fight with a title defense streak that was going up in numbers. He is currently 32 years old, 10th in his weight class and #82 in the world when it comes to pound for pound fighters. A dazzling record of 32-9-2, 18 decisions and 9 TKOS, the scientific approach he takes to a fight is a sight to see. Each key point whether it is in striking, the ground game or the clinch, he makes sure to take advantage at every moment possible to capitalize on points and the pace. Riding on the confidence of a W against Pablo Avaldo, Viktor should be able to match Donowitz in every round. The most important part for either fighter is how they are motivated and what they have been focusing on in their training camps. We will be ready to see sparks fly!

That will be all for the preview today! However, let us not forget the undercard featuring some rebounding veterans and rising stars!

Undercard

Da Skrumbo vs PePe Hapitchou

Jacks Sole vs Grigol Pandahammer

Liam Donnelly vs Star Dust

Bostar Tyraanico vs Charlie Lim

De Bruyne vs Pyryx Dall

Bostar "The Goat Plugger" Tyraanicao

Lim throws a right hand that misses
and Tyraanicao counters with a left and a right... And another left! Lim is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Fuck me, no one has done that to Charlie Lim before, the division is on notice, Bostar is the real fucking deal. His manager Marky Mark looks a broken man,

another catastrophic defeat to the Marcus Crassus camp. I can't see a way back for the lad.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bostar Tyraanicao!
Post fight, Bostar Tyraanicao stared into the camera and said 'welcome to the big leagues Marky boy'.

Syn 531 - Incendiary

Preview Prepared by Mason Ashcroft

"He got arm under his chin! How long can he stay in it…He’s out!”

But in order to do so, you need power. Power not only to survive – but the power necessary to stand on top. Alone. And Strong.
Welcome to reality. Welcome in our world. Welcome, to Syn-City.
155 lbs Jack Douglas v Don Juan Matus
This time we start low. But not in terms of skills or excitement. Synchrocity 531’s main card will start with a Lightweight action. Former #1 Lightweight in the world and EVOLUTION title contender Jack Douglas will make his return into the cage in order to face former SynCity Featherweight champion, Don Juan Matus. Returning to his element, “War Master” will look to erase bad memories of his last fight and unsuccessful attempt to become EVO World Champion. In order to do so, he will have to go through another fighter who recently couldn’t achieve same goal. Matus is seeking another shot after putting Lil Vayne to test in their Title fight, which ended in a draw. Both were one step away from becoming new champion, yet neither was able to seal the deal. Even though Don Juan lacks destroying power that Douglas possesses, it’s a known fact that “The Nagual” is as tough as anyone. Never knocked out and submitted only 3 times in his 40 pro fights, he will be perfect test for new roster member. But don’t make mistake about it – Jack Douglas has 14 losses on his record, but only 1 of those fights ended before time limit. With combined 74 fights between them, they lost only 4 fights by way of submission or knock out. You can count on exciting battle, that may be long and may bring headache to judges which will have to score this one, but surely we won’t miss serious fireworks.
135 lbs Jong Un Kim v Da Skrumbo **BW Championship Fight**
Following that opening act, we are getting hotter and hotter. 3 Time SYN Bantamweight champion will put his title on the line in an attempt to break his curse. Never before able to successfully defend his Synchrocity Championship, Jong Un Kim looks to repeat history, this time in front of much bigger crowd, when he steps into the cage against former Ascension Bantamweight title holder, Da Skrumbo. Two fighters met during LEGACY 50’s Co-Main Event, deciding faith of its Bantamweight title. Back then, Kim was the one to see his hand raised at the end of the night with a TKO victory. People wonder – is Curse real? Skrumbo may not believe in curses or magic, but he surely believes in his hands. With a stunning 71% (T)KO ratio in his wins, you can always count on his to come out swinning. Kim might be more well-rounded fighter here, but it has been a long time since anyone was able to force “Beast” into submission. Will Skrumbo be able to take his revenge, re-write history and keep Curse alive? Or will this time Jong Un Kim proves that he’s a true champion, capable of defending his throne? Those questions will be answered – and you don’t want to miss them being answered!
170 lbs Tito Hyde v Mateus Gracie **WW Championship Fight**
With 3 title fights on the card, we can sleep well knowing that this card will be packed with action. Especially with undefeated Kickboxing knock out artist like Tito Hyde, newly crowned Welterweight Champion. Across the cage stands his first contender – skilled and equally as ferocious as the champion, but with opposite skillset – submission specialist, Mateus Gracie. Even if his SYN debut was something he wanted to forget quickly, he never forgot his roots. With back-to-back submission wins, he quickly established himself as a top dog in this yard. And he may be the one person you don’t want to kick – since he can easily break the leg you kindly throw his way. But then again, Tito may be the one person you don’t want to try to catch, knowing that his vicious flying knees may follow, trying to date your face. He already proved himself in both Kickboxing and MMA, but his commitment to MMA alone, shows how dedicated he is to become the best in the world, already starting his 3rd championship reign at 170lbs. With a clash of styles, always comes question as old as martial arts themselves – which style is better? And what’s better way to find out, then Synchrocity Title fight? Both are currently ranked in top 10 of 170pounders, which can only be taken as a testimony to how great they are, making this fight Must-See for fans across the globe.
185 lbs Chris Coath v Steven Rutherford
Unlike other parties, this time people can’t wait for the end of it. But before we get to our last title fight, there is one more fight to watch. Taking place in the Middleweight, that fight may produce next contender for World Championship. Former Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight and Middleweight champion, riding 3 fights win streak since signing with Syn, Chris “Martyr” Coath will look to make it 4 straight as he is set to battle against former Syncity Middleweight champion himself – Steven “The Redneck Assassin” Rutherford. With an elite level striking in both corners you can safely bet that this fight will not even come close to a decision. Coath is coming in confident that he will not only break Rutherford’s hopes to fight for the title again, but his granite chin as well. Never before finished – neither by strikes or submissions – “Redneck Assassin” will do his best to show why he doesn’t deserve another title shot – but why the champion deserves a shot at him, in order to prove himself. Will Coath be just another Redneck on Steven’s list or will “Martyr” advance on his march to the top, to reach a shot at the title…
185 lbs George Pedro v Wilder Wein **MW Championship Fight**
…which may not be in current champion’s hands before the night ends? George Pedro made a statement – when he decided to descend from Light Heavyweight to Middleweight in order to face Rutherford. Majority decision awarded him the championship, making him a dual champion. Even though he lost his 205lbs belt, he still wants to prove that he’s more than enough to dominate 185lbs division. And he will look to continue doing that against nothing but the best – and you won’t find anyone better at 185lbs than THE BEST Middleweight on the planet, Wilder Wein. Even against a scary competition, seasoned vet doesn’t crack under the pressure. Understanding his mistakes that led him to losing his championship, Wilder bounced back into action scoring 3 straight wins, putting him in the spot that he needed. Being a true middleweight, he gains another reason to throw Pedro out of his division, showing that what happened at 205, can also happen at 185. “Santo” doesn’t seem to be scared or intimidated. With his own record and history to back him up, he knows what he is capable of. So are we. With neither man being willing or able to step back and surrender, they are bound to clash with a power and intensity matching – or maybe even exceeding – the one of Incendiary Bomb.
Undercard Fights:
170 lbs Kim Jong Guk v Castor Rollins
205 lbs Stan Judea v Kostas Karelis
205 lbs Ian Smith v Ludko Struja
135 lbs Henry Longbow v Renan Melo
170 lbs Comanche Todd v Lethal Larry

Syn 532 - Euphoria

Preview Prepared by Mason Ashcroft

Some wants too see world fall into pieces…

„What a punch! Just like that, he’s out!”

Some, prefer to see it fall into darkness…

„He got arm under his chin! How long can he stay in it…He’s out!”

But in order to do so, you need power. Power not only to survive – but power necessary to stand on top. Alone. And Strong.

Welcome to war. Welcome – in our world. Welcome, in Syn-city.

185 lbs Darren Lockyer Vs Pablo Escobarre

Middleweight division is one of the most exciting divisions in MMA and Syn-City isn’t any different. One of the examples is the first fight of this card, where veteran of over 60 fights, Darren Lockyer will face off against “Candyman” Pablo Escobarre. Even tho he has half the fights his opponent has, he isn’t a pushover. World champion at both 170 and 185lbs, Escobarre made it clear – he is as serious as any other fighter. With over 85% wins coming by way of stoppage, he never looks to grind you out. He looks to put you out. But on the other side of the cage stands a person with exactly same approach. Looking to find his 40th (T)KO victory, Darren is as dangerous as ever. Multidivision champion of his own, winning titles at 185 and 205, he created legacy of his own. Legacy that may be coming to an end – but in no way coming fast. After losing Ascension championship, he struggled to find his way back to Win column. Will this fight be the one to round up his knock out record?

145 lbs Viktor Tsoi Vs Charles Ng

Long time EVO Featherweight Champion made a jump to Syn – jump that started well, before falling down. Going from win to lose and back to win is something that Viktor Tsoi isn’t looking forward to. That’s why he wants to start a new winning streak – with his eyes set on his next opponent, Charles Ng. Former Bantamweight Phenom made jump to Featherweight. 14-4 up-and-comer wants to make an impact in his new division and he wants to do it fast. Eyeing someone who was treated as a top P4P fighter seems like a best idea available. But Viktor isn’t looking to lie down and let Charles steamroll through him. You can be sure that old dog will defend his yard with everything he has, trying to reach top of the mountain once more. But Charles isn’t an underdog just based on their records – with age, comes wisdom. And with wisdom, comes experience. Tsoi is definitely more skilled and more experienced fighter. Question is – is youth enough to top that advantage. Answer may be much more interesting than anyone expects.

265+ lbs Bull Hurley Vs Kristian Johansson

Next fight will be huge. Literally. Over 265lbs division. Though that is just a name. Long time Syn roster member and one of the smallest Heavyweights signed, Bull Hurley will make another trip to the cage to face much, much bigger challenge – Kristian Johansson. Swedes nickname – “Mr. Amnesia” – didn’t just show up for no reason. With all wins coming by way of TKO or KO, he seems to find joy in sending people to sleep with his fists. 2m tall and nearly 290lbs frame is capable of producing power which is hard to match. Even that Bull is as tall, he is outweight by 60lbs – but even then, he has serious power of his own, collecting 21 stoppage victories of his own. Both fighters happened to be on receiving end of those too, due to their brawl-it-out style, which means that this fight has basically 0% chance to end due to time limit. Even in case of that happening, that fight promises spectacular show of fireworks. Or nuclear missles. Look for devastating, all-out war that will leave one of those guys in the dreamland.

145 lbs Abraham Donovitz Vs Lil Wayne **FW Championship Fight**

In the co-main event of the evening we will return to Featherweight divison – this time to see the biggest of the small man. Current Syn 145lbs king, Abraham Donovitz will look to end another chapter of his storied career, as he will look to defend his throne against someone who he couldn’t beat in the past – Current holder of Lightweight championship, Lil Vayne. Those two met twice before, both times adding another W to Vayne’s record, though both fights ended as decisions. This time, younger of Donovitz brothers hopes to prove that he learnt from the past. They say that losses help us grow and if Abraham didn’t grow enough by this point, he may very well not have another shot to redeem himself. Following his brother’s footsteps he already became one of the best on the planet, now he needs to settle down his personal score to move one and make a run at absolute peak. But if there is someone who had an option to learn from the past – it has to be Lil Vayne. With 62 pro fights and 50 wins, he saw everything and he done everything. And winning 155lbs title, while being of the best 145pounders WITH Bantamweight frame isn’t impressive. It’s just amazing. This should prove to everyone how good he really is. And with only 10 losses, he didn’t give up much information about his weaknesses. Can World Championship grappling skills help Abraham overcome Elite striking of Lil Vayne’s this time? One way or another, this Trilogy will end on this faithful night.

205 lbs Evil Nixon Vs Grigol Pandahammer **LHW Championship Fight**

At last, we got here. Main. Event. Of. The. Evening. 5 Rounds fight in Light Heavyweight Division, where 27yr old EVO stand out Evil Nixon will look to defend his title, after his stunning debut. His first title defense is no easy task – former title holder and winner of his last 4 fights, Grigol Pandahammer. In previous fight we had a clear contrast of experienced vet and up-and-coming sensation. This time we will see clash of two, young fighters – but both already made the name for themselves. 19-2 Nixon took EVO by storm, before jumping right into title fight in Syn. With stunning record and fighting style to match it, he proved himself to be a true number 1, when he TKOed Pedro to win that belt. Grigol was on a streaky run after losing championship he won from Kocur way back at Syn 475, but he finally found his way and dominated his last 4 fights to make a case for himself to be next title challenger. With his crisis gone, we may just see much more dangerous version of him. Born and raised in one of the toughest environment possible, it wasn’t easy to even survive in Georgia – but with his talent he quickly found way out of that place, still proudly representing his native country. Once you are on the bottom, once you experience that slump you never – NEVER – want to feel it again. That kind of determination may be what he needs to overcome Nixon, who doesn’t look to give up his spot easily. Even though he didn’t drop as low as his opponent did, he faced his first knockout loss in recent history. There is no doubt that he doesn’t want to feel that again and will learn from his mistakes, to get better and avoid that outcome again. They say it’s easy to reach the top, but it’s hard to stay on top. It’s time for Nixon to face that test and prove himself to be a true champion.

Undercard Fights:

170 lbs Brandon Marsden v Noob Saibot

185 lbs Kalervo Kaunismieli v Friedrich Von Kuschelbar

135 lbs Diego Falcao v Daniel Larusso

145 lbs Pyryx Dall v Matt Smith

170 lbs Nathaniel Armstrong v Takeshi Naoki

Moe Logan interviews Abraham Donowitz

Moe Logan: Hi there, fellow people of the earth and the collective hive mind, known as the internet. Welcome to another edition of Moe Logan's pot cast. I am Moe Logan and have a guest today. I was looking forward to the opportunity to speak with him. We had it a long time coming. It is none lesser than Abraham "Jewsus Christ" Donowitz. Reigning Syn featherweight champion, former D1 TWGC bantamweight king, grandson of god (or somethin' like that) and acknowledged as one of the best p4p fighters in the world. How 're you feeling today, Abe?

Abraham Donowitz: Benevolent, man. Thanks for the intro.

Moe Logan: Let's get the headlines out of the way, first. You are about to defend your strap against Lil Wayne. A familiar opponent to say the least. You went the whole nine yards with him twice in championship fights. But he always got the nod. How do you reflect upon these losses in light of meeting him for the third time now? And will it be the final time, should he beat you again?

Abraham Donowitz: First time I just like, got beat. I started off strong in the first round, and like, things just didn't work. Second fight was a total bummer too, I started off slow but I really got my groove, y'know, in the last two rounds and if we were two tigers in a cage, that were, y'know, like.. fighting to the death that night.. I was coming out of that cage man. Um.. but I think if it's meant to be - win, lose, or draw - I'm gonna fight bro. I'll keep trying. He can beat me ten times but I gotta keep coming back. Gotta set, like, a good example for the kids. Never give up type stuff.

Moe Logan: How do you feel about the fact, that your title is on the line, whereas his isn't? More cynical natures then the two of us may feel obliged to point out, that your results lately were more consistent than his. What kind of reasoning was presented to you, why just your title should be on the line? Was it because he beat you twice already or was it because of the Don Juan Matus situation? Or was it never really even considered?

Abraham Donowitz: I'm the Featherweight champ, I fought at 145 my whole career, so naturally, being like the champ and all, we're just gonna scrap it out at 145.

Moe Logan: What will be the key to beat the guy this time around? He sure is …. and I hope you don't mind when I say so …. unorthodox as hell. Considering that by virtue of his frame he should be a bantamweight. But he holds the lightweight title right now! And all that while he is a striker, first and foremost. That is some pretty impressive stuff right there!

Abraham Donowitz: Duuude, he's crafty. Lightning fast. Hard to see cuz he's such a darky. I gotta use my bread and butter bro. Jesus turned water into wine and I'm like, gonna turn this MMA fight into a grappling match. Sure, eh, umm, maybe not best anology, y'know? So I gotta get in there and put this guy on his back and, yeah, implement my gameplan man.

Moe Logan: Don't you think you need to get a little bit more aggressive? The guy, as great as he is, hasn't knocked anybody out in ages. And you have never been knocked out. Shouldn't that, in theory, give your Jew-Jitsu all the edge it needs? Just getting close and personal, ignoring his elaborate flailing for a bit.

Abraham Donowitz: Lil Wayne don't flail. Na bro. He comes in like, hi-yaaaa! Whaaaaaa! and he's all like, Ooooohaaarah! Oiii! Hmphhhh. Cowabunga bro. He's totally on that ninja shit. Lil dude goes afro samurai in there. It's kinda rad. So I'm uhhh, just gonna get ahold of him, and like, throw him to the mat, and be like - take that bro! and yeah, y'know, do my Jew-Jitsu thing. Slap him in a kimura, armbar, maybe even bust out the triple decker pecker wrecker. Yeeaaah.

Moe Logan: You put a whole lot of stock on your grappling pedigree. What was it like to win the coveted TWGC tournament?

Abraham Donowitz: It was cool man, cool experience. I was facing my training partner Fuujin in the finals. All I got was this fancy belt, and a t-shirt.

Moe Logan: This year's TWGC doesn't seem to get quite off the ground. At least as far as the bantamweights are concerned. Any chance to see you there in action again? Maybe in the next tournament?

Abraham Donowitz: Yeah man, no doubt about it. It's sad to see the tournament going, and y'know not compete, but hey, I'm like the champion at Syn' so I can't complain. I got obligations, and stipulations, and stuff. Umm, just gotta defend my belt man. I love it. I'll compete in TWGC again, definitely.

Moe Logan: It seems that the lord himself sent us a sign! Because as we speak, the news have broken that this tournament (the bantamweight and light heavyweight qualifiers) will be on their way in four days! Anybody in this tournament, who you would deem a worthy heir to your crown?

Abraham Donowitz: Convicted Fight Club for life bro. Tomas Marley and Kazuka Fuujin.

Moe Logan: Speaking of your gym and the grappling arts …. there appears to be an emphasis on grappling in your gym, that is curiously underrepresented at the top of the game, looking at other top gyms and p4p fighters. Most seem to avoid the ground and use wrestling as a mere defensive and controlling tactic. Why do you think that is the case and what would it take, so that more submission artists, who are definitely out there, can claim their stake at the top of the totem?

Abraham Donowitz: We emphasize Mixed Martial Arts man. Every fight starts on the feet, so umm, standin' and bangin' is important. Our coaches just like us to be like, uh, like, versatile. Multi-dimensional in there, like umm, unpredictable. Our manager, Chris Karter, y'know, he's like known as the K.O. King. But really, he's like, kind of the grapple king too. Just about every Division 1 TWGC champion comes from Convicted Fight Club. Oh, and to um, like answer that last question about the totem and shaking things up.. uh.. um.. how do I like put this man... ok, I think there's malicious forces in the mechanics of nature that inhibit the success and effectiveness of grappling at the highest of levels, if ya catch my drift.

Moe Logan: Malicious forces in the mechanics of nature? Is it the devil's work?

Abraham Donowitz: It's some Hitler-nazi-type stuff.

Moe Logan: Many pundits feel that this fight between you and Lil Wayne may very well mark a pivotal point in the sport. He is 36. And you are at the ripe, old age of 35. Your ancestor, Jewsus, after all the we know, didn't even become that old. Hand on heart, how long will you keep pursuing this line of work?

Abraham Donowitz: My brother Donny fought til he was 42 so I have some good years ahead of me. To be like honest man, those are some pretty big shoes to fill. Gotta rep that Donowitz name. He mighta been the better fighter but I definitely got the better hair man, and a glorious beard.

Moe Logan: Some good genes there in your family, no doubt. How has your brother's success influenced your career and when was it clear for you, that you are gonna be a fighter?

Abraham Donowitz: You don't choose fighting man, fighting chooses you. What's meant to be, will be. You feel me? Some people are teachers, and some people are like, cops, and doctors or something, but the Donowitz brothers are totally fighters man.

Moe Logan: Well, Amen to that! Any last words for your opponent? Or for your fans?

Abraham Donowitz: It's like David and Goliath, except we're both David.. But I'm Abe.. and he's Wayne.. and we're gonna scrap man.

Moe Logan: And we all cannot wait to see this one play out. Abe, thanks for your time and good luck for your big fight!

Puno lands an uppercut, right on the button! Curran tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Randy Curran starts off by firing out the gates like a bat out of hell. In the first minute of the fight he cuts Puno open with a really solid shot to the chin, scores with a spinning back kick, then an uppercut, and follows it up with a big head kick that sends the champ tumbling to the mat. The challenger waves the champion to his feet and the two pick up where they left off. Exchanging jabs, kicks, and blows for several minutes - Puno seemed to find his range - and then lands a right hook to the temple that hurts Curran and sends him to the floor. Puno looks like he's going to dive to the ground for the finish but returns the favor and waves him to his feet. Curran is rocked! He looks hurt but manages to get off his back. The champ quickly moves in and lands a leg kick, Curran is still on wobbly legs, and pow! Right to the kisser! Puno hits him with an uppercut right on the button that takes him off his feet and leaves him slumped up against the cage. Ladies and gentlemen he is done, this fight is over! Puno did it again! He retains the Heavyweight championship of the world!

Puno drops Curran with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Curran looks back up at him and smiles so Puno waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
