Vault 002 Preview

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/Goliath764/JokerThePimp.jpg

This report is brought to you by Joker The Pimp.

Alright, this is Joker The Pimp! Tee hee! And I will be previewing the second event of The Fallout - Vault MMA! Yes, the organization might be new but we already brought in a lot of talented fighter into The Vault and tonight, we have not 1 but 2 titles on the line, the Lightweight title and also, the Lightweight title. Opps...sorry, I mean the Light Heavyweight title and the Lightweight title. Despite having "light" on the title, the fights will not be light at all, they will be the clash of the titans, heavy punches, heavy slams, heavy...submissions? Whatever, Tee hee! Let's get on the first fight.

The opener of the night will be Dye "Hard" Tryin versus Bark Er. Two awesome artistic name, just like Joker The Pimp. I will give both of them high five as soon as I sees them. Dye "Hard" Tryin is an ex-DFC fighter, with the record of 2 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. He certainly have the experience advantage over Bark Er, who is a freshie with the record of 0 win and 0 loss. I can say the crowd will be supporting Tryin, as he's the local hero. Bark Er is an English, so good luck fighting an Australian in Australia. Have fun dealing with the pressure. However, the situation doesn't look good for Tryin actually, he's quite easy to cut actually and Bark Er has really wonderful boxing ability. If Trying wants to win, he has to avoid standup at all cost. That's my opinion.

Prediction: Bark Er, KO.

Next, "Tap" Tappy McOut vs William Brodie, McOut is 1-3-0 and Brodie a freshie. Another English vs Aussie bout. This time, the English fighter is experienced in the sports of MMA. An ex-fighter of SEC, and my spy said that he has a good chin but he did get KOed once, so I have no idea what my spy is trying to tell me. McOut, well-rounded; Brodie, a good wrestler with some basic Muay Thai experience. Rumor said that he lived in Thailand for six months and trained in a Muay Thai gym. A Muay Thai gym in the origin of Muay Thai? That's the best you can get for Muay Thai. I predict Brodie to clinch and gives McOut some of his Brodie Set 1 which is, Knee & Elbow in the clinch. Or maybe Brodie Set 2? Slam & Fist-on-the-ground. McOut will probably stand and bang, I don't think trying his blue belt BJJ is a good choice for him.

Prediction: Brodie, Decision.

3rd bout, Darwin Moon vs Maurizio Marchetti. Both fighters are from US, now that's awesome; both fighers are with 1 loss and it's from submission and they are in Vault 001, now that's even more awesome. I should just name them "The Duo". They both want to win because win tastes so much better than loss and the first win is always, the tastiest. Both are good boxers, The Spy said they are both sprawl and brawler. Well, the good thing is, they can focus on brawling this time. What will be critical of this fight is the strategy, the game plan they come up with. Moon has a very good chin according to The Spy, mr.Spy said that he questioned a few of his partners in the gym and they said Moon asked them to hit him in the face when he was drunk and they failed to knock a drunken Moon out, imagine the fully-awaken Moon, that's solid chin at your disposal. Marchetti, slightly better in boxing and also far experienced than Moon.

Prediction: Moon, KO. Gut feeling.

4th bout, Curtis "Razor" Sharp vs Justin Angle. Both are freshies so I can't really dig out that much things to talk about. Sharp is slightly heavier than Angle though, that's one factor. Other than that, they are on identical levels. It's a good matchmaking, I really like to see what can they do. I smells a standup battle, and a great one coming from both guys.

Prediction: Sharp, Cut. Razor sharp things cut real good.

"The Serial Killer" Dexter Morgan vs Hattori "Ninja" Hanzo. Serial Killer vs Ninja? This should be the theme of a film! Morgan, an outsider will have to fight Hanzo, the local Aussie. I think Hanzo is half-Japanese/half-Aussie but that's all my guess. Or his parents love ninja too much...Morgan will be looking to stand and bang while Hanzo will use try to kick, or clinch up for Muay Thai greatness or the best he can do, BJJ on the ground. However, Hanzo's wrestling isn't good to start with and Morgan will obviously, not do a takedown against a purple belt. So I really don't see this go to the ground.

Prediction: Morgan, Kill. I mean...KO.

Finally, we are on the main card. For people watching this from television, start reading from here! The main card's opener, Fat Harry vs John "The Specialist" Daville. Another Aussie vs outsider match. Harry, 1 win, 2 losses and 1 no contest; Daville, 0 win and 1 loss. Fat Harry once had a fight in a Las Vega org, ThunderWar but it went no contest, then he went back to the independent circle. Both are debuting in The Fallout. Fat Harry is jack of all trade, master of none while Daville a Muay Thai Specialist. Yup, he has The Specialist as his nickname and so he should be a specialist on something. Harry, despite being jack of all trade, has ok Muay Thai too. I seriously can't predict how this fight will go, but just watch!

Prediction: Daville, Decision.

Junior Zappa vs Liste Pik. Zappa, 1 win. Pik, 3 wins and 3 losses. Zappa beats Moon in Vault 001 with a Triangle despite having only blue belt in BJJ. Now that's some clever move. He probably realize that his opponent's chin is good so he went for the submission move. I love this, I love strategy. The Spy said that Zappa's chin is made of iron so he's all good standing. Pik, is famous for his wit and experience, but has a 1-3 records in his time with the org, Boomerang! His weakness is submission from what the paper tells me. Will Zappa stand and bang or go for the submission? I can't wait to find out who will win this battle of wit.

Prediction: Zappa, KO.

Next will be a welterweight bout between Andre Galvao and Hanzo "Assassin" Chiba. Both are with 1 win. Galvao with a Triangle Choke and Chiba with a Kneebar. Both are brown belt, I sense the battle of BJJ, one is from Brazil, origin of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; another has bloodline of Japan, the origin of the original Jiu-Jitsu. This bout will be very good in my opinion. Hanzo better be careful on the ground, he has longer limbs than Galvao and I expect Galvao to take advantage of them. And I expect Galvao to be on top in the beginning of the ground battle as he has better wrestling base than Chiba and he's lightning quick. Chiba has some basic boxing skill, but I don't think he can hit on Galvao's face before Galvao put him to the ground. Top vs bottom, don't go away from this epic BJJ battle!

Prediction: Galvao, Facebar. We don't have Facebar? Ok, I will go for the Guillotine Choke then.

Co-main event of the night, we have BJ Howard vs Rickson Gracie for the lightweight title. I sure don't know why the 0-0 Gracie has a shot on the belt against the 5-0 Howard, all I know is that both have great BJJ. This is another BJJ battle...or maybe not. The Spy told me that Howard has more than BJJ. Underrated striking and basic wrestling base. The Gracie? All BJJ. Howard possesses the speed of lightning and he's really quick. With his skill, he can go for the takedown, or aim to torture the Gracie with his fists. Can't really tell much about his fists though, he rarely throws them. And so, I think it will be another BJJ battle. Will Garcie pulls a surprise victory and be famous after a night? Or will Howard gets his sixth consecutive win?

Prediction: Howard, Armbar. He has 3 wins with Armbar, so I am for that.

And now, the main event! Light heavyweight title bout, William "The Gentleman" Brooks vs Jason "Mad Man" Kain. Gentleman vs Mad Man. Now that's an epic bout. Despite the nickname, The Gentleman, Brooks is no way a gentleman inside the cage, he will eat you alive. That's what he did to get the 2-0 record. This guy has a steel chin and unrivaled wrestling base, he can sit on top of you all fight long and render you useless. Kain is a Muay Thai fighter, coming off a decision win from Vault 001. He is more of a standup fighter, can kick and bang all day long if allowed to do so. I don't really see that on this fight though. I can see Brooks takes Kain down to his playground - the ground. This will be a real challenge for Kain. Will he be able to stand his ground against Brooks? Or will he be another victim of The Gentleman's vicious ground and pound?

Prediction: Brooks, TKO.

When asked about his upcoming fight with Efe Mafusa, Tommy Henderson replied.

"I am going to take it to the ground straight away and make him submit before I can even break a sweat. It will be a tough one for his first fight but I will show everybody here why I will be the 185 pound champ!"

Vault 002 Review

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/Goliath764/JokerThePimp.jpg

This report is brought to you by Joker The Pimp.

It's me again! Tee hee! Vault 002 was successfully ran with a blast, 51.15 event rating and 90% of seats were taken. And most importantly, the fights are seriously good. The Pimp myself dropped my jaw at least three times on the entire night. Ok so, let's get on with the review.

Dye Trying vs Bark Er

If Dye Trying ever comes to the level of making a video, this fight is going to be featured in the DVD with the title "Muay Thai, Clinching 101 with Dye Trying". This one is pure domination by Dye Trying, stuffing a lot - that "lot" is really a lot - of takedown while going in for the clinch in almost every second he was inside the cage. The entire fight is pretty much one-sided, Bark Er was cut early in the first round and that cut probably tremble his will to fight and of course, his ability to fight too. You are going to feel bad when you lost too much blood. In the end, the judges gives this match 30:26, 30:26 and 30:25, the winner is Dye Trying by unanimous decision. Darn, my first prediction is pure out of the way.

Tappy McOut vs William Brodie

Alright, this one is just...fast. I admit that I didn't think it would be this fast. McOut came in with a few strikes to the head of Brodie. Brodie ducked, beautifully and easily like he was a professional boxer and shot in for the take down. A very good one and McOut was doing fine too by at least cramming one leg of Brodie to prevent him from getting side control. Brodie seemed to do good but a few seconds later, McOut retaliate with some very impressive movement as soon as Brodie missed a fist to the head. First, he put Brodie back to his guy and then, Brodie was in his guard. That sounds like magic. McOut then decided to move up to a better position, this guy has the body of a snake, as he was moving so swiftly and suddenly, he dropped back and clapped on one knee of Brodie, a tap out was there a second later. Tappy McOut wins by a Kneebar in just under one minute, impressive for a BJJ blue belt. My prediction is off again.

Darwin Moon vs Maurizio Marchetti

I believe this would be a close brawling fight, but this is not. This fight is all Marchetti. First round, Moon did a few attempts to clinch and takedown, but Marchetti was defending good while swinging his fists on Moon until 2 minutes. At that time, Moon clinched up and quickly jumped down while dragging Marchetti into it. Then, the crowd endured through 2 minutes of wrestling match with almost zero striking involved. That's painful to watch...the referee stood them up at the last few seconds of the round and it's over. Second round, this round is 8:10 on all judge's scorecard because well, this one is all Marchetti, from punches to kicks, Marchetti was like punching a sandbag for 5 minutes. 3rd round started with a counter-takedown by Moon, only to be stand up by the referee a minute later. And it's all sandbag and Marchetti until the final bell. Winner is Maurizio Marchetti, 90:78, unanimous decision. That's 3rd in a row of me guessing on the wrong end...

Curtis Sharp vs Justin Angle

This one is the first not one-sided match in the card so far. Angle looked really good in the first round in the back-and-forth striking. Sharp did get a counter-takedown but he wasn't able to do so much at that time. A minute later, Angle returned the favor by ducking and slamming Sharp to the canvas but half a minute later Angle decided to just play the striking game with Sharp. Angle failed a few takedown attempts, but was on the good side for the first round. Second and third round were Sharp's, one counter-takedown per round and a better overall accuracy of strikes gave him the edge of earning the points from the judges. I think Angle has stamina issue, as his second and third round were as sharp as his first round, and he was missing too much strikes. Winner is Curtis Sharp with the score of 88:83. Oh yeah! First good prediction, still no luck on the finish prediction though but I get the winner right.

Dexter Morgan vs Hattori Hanzo

This one is real good. Hanzo directly crouched from the match-starter, a hook by Morgan and attempted a takedown. Morgan was good, he moved to the side and avoided the takedown by Hanzo. Then, Morgan started to test Hanzo's chin. A straight right, ok...he's still standing. Left hook, still standing. And then another stuffed takedown. How about a jab? Missed...darn...what more can I do? A...slap? Morgan swung his palm outward for a slap-like punch and that one put Hanzo on wobbly legs. Morgan was shocked for a second? A slap...a slap...is his weakness? And quickly, before Hanzo was able to recover, Morgan jumped in with a few more punches to end the match. Finally, a correct prediction of both fighter and finish.

Fat Harry vs John Daville

if I have to word this match in less than 15 words, that will be "Fat Harry - Submission Grappling, John Daville - Submission Offense". Seriously, this match looks like a BJJ spar but with one side being the defender and one side being the subber. Daville came in the match like a bull, and he missed a takedown before he got one. Then, it's all Daville trying to sub Harry. A minute later, referee standup. Daville clinched in and pulled guard, then again, went with his I-want-to-sub-you rage. A minute later, Harry swept and got up. And...repeat. 2nd round, it's the same until the 2nd minute, Harry swept and advanced into mount. That's some wild action, finally but it lasted only for 30 seconds. Harry wanted an armbar but he was rolled by Daville and was now, at the bottom. Third round, same stuff. Harry won all three rounds with his excellent defend and 100% success in landing takedowns. Ah...I am wrong on this one.

Junior Zappa vs Liste Pik

Pik was doing something out of my mind instantly after the bell rung - takedown and submission attempts. The first two minutes of the fight was all about battle of position. Then, it's standup...oh what the! Pik with another takedown after throwing the referee an annoying look. He disagreed with the standup and decided to just go down again. And well, the lay'n'pray is all round 1 about. Round 2, same stuff, takedown and ground battle. At 2 minutes, Zappa got a mount but he's too dumb to go for the submission attempt and got flipped into the bottom again. Then, we saw more of the same stuff. Third round, same stuff. Pik's unrivaled takedown ability got the nod of the judges, and he won his fourth professional win by unanimous decision. Darn, another wrong prediction from me.

Andre Galvao and Hanzo Chiba

I can say this is Zappa vs Pik II. It's almost the same, Chiba took Galvao down to the mat real quick. However, Galvao was too good, constantly out-control Chiba before the referee standup and then quickly returned the favor with a takedown of his own. He then slowly went his way into a mount but the time's up by then. 2nd round, Chiba went full force, takedown after takedown and advancing positions all the time he could. He's more of a control guy than a direct ground and pound guy and that really hinder the entertainment value of the match to be honest. He got to the mount just before the time ended, again. Last round, the final two to three minutes were awesome. It's just full-force sub and sweep and then the time's up before any potential submission was locked. 90:81, Galvao won. Finally, another good pick for me.

BJ Howard and Rickson Gracie

BJ Howard decided to not play the ground game with Gracie, or maybe he just didn't get to. He started to drop bomb since the first second of the match, caught Gracie in a few combination - we can see Gracie was rocked by a pin-point one, two, three, that was some good punches by Howard - and it's all over. The finishing was a straight left that almost knocked Gracie's bone out of shape as he crumbled to the ground and Howard swarmed him with enough strikes to get the TKO. Howard retains his lightweight title with a 20 seconds TKO. Nice one, great pick for me.

William Brooks and Jason Kain

Main event, light heavyweight title on the light. You can't say you watched Vault 002 without watching this match. The first round was all Brooks, impressive takedowns but Kain was not bad, he defended against most of the pounding. Second round started up with one of the most glamorous moment of the match, Kain went for a takedown but Brooks stepped to the side, hooked the right leg of Kain and dropped him to the ground. Sick move! Second minute, the referee stood them up for a lack of excitement on the ground. Kain went for a clinch, he did get it but Brooks was more aggressive in the clinch. However, Kain's clinchwork was good enough to prevent Brooks from taking him down. Kain broke the clinch and as expected, a takedown! And the second round was like that. Third round, Brooks knew his stamina, he put Kain down on the mat and worked slowly on him. Third minute, Brooks countered a takedown with his own takedown into mount and Kain was lucky to survive the onslaught. The fourth round, both fighters are pretty tired. Brooks was able to take Kain down everytime, but he didn't have the energy to work him on the ground, forcing several standups. The last round were the same stuff. In the end, Brooks won with a perfect 150 over 135, retaining his light heavyweight title. Big props to Kain though, for he was able to survive the GnP of Brooks.

Alright, 5 correct picks for me, that's 50%. I will do better next time, Joker out, tee hee!

KO of the Night - Dexter Morgan. If you ask why I prefer this than Howard's, it's because a slap and then two bombs are far more impressive than Howard's in my opinion. And Howard's a TKO, Morgan's a KO, with no need to continue further assault when his opponent was down, that's what a great, clean KO should be like.

Submission of the Night - Tappy McOut. One submission only, and that one's awesome, worth the award for sure.

Fight of the Night - William Brooks vs Jason Kain. Despite being outclassed, Kain was able to defend himself well enough on the ground. It's errr...more exciting than other one-sided fight.

William Brooks Interview

Inside the Bearcave gym William Brooks sits with his manager Marcus Fernandez, Gym owner Dragev Tesenrojb and a few of the young fighters from the gym. Brooks is wearing blue jeans and a Vault 003 tee shirt and The Fallout light heavy weight title is slung over his shoulder. Tycoon magazine writer Thomas Hunter makes his way over to the group of guys talking and joking around.

Thomas Hunter: “William I was wondering if I could get a few minutes of your time?”

William: “Not a problem man.”

Thomas: “Where would you like to do this William?”

William: “Let’s do it right here and now.”

Thomas: “Great! And thank you very much.”

William: “No need for the thanks, it comes with the job right.”

Thomas: “Well first of all everyone I am sure wants to know what you think of your early success?”

William: “Well I always knew I would be a champion, but to win a championship in just my second fight surprised me. I was very successful in wrestling and sports as a child, but now I am competing with the greatest fighters Sydney any success not just early success is what most people only dream about.

Thomas: “Can you tell us about your recent contract extension? No details have been released so far.”

William: “The only thing I can say is it’s a four fight extension. I am not sure what you really want to here about it.”

Thomas: “Was there any super fights worked in, or tournament possibilities held by The Fallout or other organizations, and things of that nature?”

William: “Well it was just four fights, not sank into a lot of detail, but if there is a tournament at 205 anywhere I would be happy to represent The Fallout. As for super fights the organization is still very young so there is not a lot of options for something like that. Plus me being in the 205 division I don’t have the option to move up, but I will fight anyone rather they have been a Light Heavy Weight or they are moving up, moving down from another organization. William Brooks does not discriminate I will fight anyone.”

Thomas: “Wow strong words from the champ. I will wrap this up with one last question Will. Who do you think and when do you think you next fight will be?”

William: “Right now I have no contract offers but that could be due to the upcoming 205 fights at The Vault 003. So my next fight could be at Vault 004 on June 19. Also if that’s the case I would predict that I will be facing Mad Hatter.”

Thomas: “Well you are going to give your opinion on that fight, you have other predictions for the card?”

William: “Not at this time man.”

Thomas: “Well thank you so much for your time.”

William: “Not a problem Thomas.”

Vault 003 Preview

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/Goliath764/JokerThePimp.jpg

This report is brought to you by Joker The Pimp.

It's time for Joker The Pimp again, Vault 003 will be there after a few days. Joker is aiming to get at least 6 predictions right, and at least 2 correct finishing on this card. Just you see!

"BJ King" Craig Sutherland vs Oliver "Stonehands" Silver

First match of the night we see Sutherland, the long time fighter, take on against the newcomer Silver. Sutherland has been in several orgs, the most notable will be CFC, one of the top org in the world and also Konflict "Down Under", a top Sydney org. In Vault 001, this experienced guy knocked the head out of Tom Hawkins with a right-left combination, ending the match within 3 minutes. Despite he is with a record of 6-15, he has good self-confidence and is willing to stand-and-bang with any guy as all his wins are by knockout and he never lose by a decision. I guess he knows the crowd loves great action. His weakness? Bad ground ability even after 23 fights. Silver is green, and obviously can't punch better than Sutherland. Silver has one thing though, good wrestling base. So, it's all come to who can get their game plan going.

Prediction: Sutherland, KO.

Bam "Bam Bam" Bam vs Cliff Sierra

Both are freshie to the pro scene of MMA. Bam is a BBJ specialist, but with one lose by submission thanks to another brown belt, Hanzo Chiba. Well, Bam clearly has a huge advantage against Sierra on the ground as Sierra is only a blue belt. However, Sierra is a jack-of-all-trade and Bam has no wrestling base. As long as Sierra stays up feet, I guess Sierra has a chance of winning.

Prediction: Bam, Submission(I am guessing Kimura).

James Bryce vs Greko "The Wrestler" Roman

Is that a pun to Greco-Roman Wrestling? Whatever. Roman comes off a victory against Beast Mode on Vault 001, he has the momentum, he has the crowd cheering for him, he has to win. However, I don't see he has amazing wrestling ability despite his name and his nickname. Bryce, on another hand, is a muay thai fighter with basic wrestling knowledge. The advantage of a MT/Wrestler? He can stand, he can clinch and he can throw you to the ground. Have fun guessing about your opponent's game plan, Greko Roman.

Prediction: Seriously, I don't know who to pick...Bryce, Decision.

John Barker v Rambo John J

This one should be good. Both are boxers, the clear difference being the experience. Barker is 0-1 and mr.Rambo is 4-13-0(1 NC). Barker is well-known for his confidence, some finds him cocky but he said it's all confidence. John J, on the other hand, has a lot to tell, he was on Konflict before joining The Fallout. The sad thing is that he loses all his match in Konflict. It's ok, John J, you can start again, now all you need is to prove it.

Prediction: John J, KO.

"Brutal" Tommy Henderson v Efe "Voodoo" Mafusa

Henderson has good boxing and impressive BJJ ability, with 2 wins under his belt by submission. The Spy checked on his school record and found that he's in the top 5 every year. I guess his IQ is real high, be careful Mafusa. Mafusa has a K-1 background, was fighting some K-1 rules fights in the independent circuit until he was asked to join The Fallout. With excellent boxing base and Muay Thai base, he is unrivaled when it comes to standing. The problem is, he has zero ground ability.

Prediction: Henderson, Submission(Triangle)

Matt Hawk vs "The Mantis" Kent Ortega

Time for some main card preview, the opener is a middleweight bout between Hawk and Mantis...I mean Ortega by mantis. Ortega is an ex-OFC fighter, joining The Fallout after that org is closed down. Despite my spy stated that he has impressive chin, he has been knocked out 2 times in his career which has 7 fights in total, that's not good for a granite chin. Hawk, on the other hand, has experience with Pride and Combat Pro Sydney, with his most notable win against "Mr. Pancrase" Minoru Suzuki(8-3 before retirement). He has good chin too so it would be a great battle if the stand and bang and since Hawk has 8 KOs, Ortega's chin better be prepared for some cannonballs on his way. Hawk wants to break his lose streak, Ortega wants another win. Who will get it?

Prediction: Hawk, KO.

Jermain Walcott vs Mad Hatter

Next, a light heavyweight bout between Master of None Walcott and Boxer Hatter. Walcott comes off a lose while Hatter comes off an impressive outclassed decision. I think Hatter has the ability to stop Walcott from taking him down and Hatter's boxing should have enough package to Walcott on his track. Hatter is taller and slightly heavier, so I guess Matter has all the advantage except the brain I guess. Walcott is clever and I wonder how clever can he be, let's hope his wit grants excitement to this fight.

Prediction: Hatter, KO.

Tragic "TripTrap" Tinkelbery vs "Hard As Nails" Glenn Archer

Just by looking at their record, i can say this one will be exciting. Both possess impressive chin, both has the ability to fight, Tinkelbery a good boxer; Archer a good archer...errr...not really. He's a wrestler with advanced BJJ skill. Well, being archer has no real impact in MMA. Both comes off a win, Archer with a Rear Naked Choke and Tinkelbery with a decision, they both are going to kill each other to continue their win streak and I expect them to do it well. Good luck and have fun inside the cage, gentlemen.

Prediction: Archer, Submission(Anaconda Choke)

Nate "Good Night Mate" Knuckles vs Katsuro "Ryuu" Kazuhiro

Now, we are at the co-main event of the night, featuring 3-0 Knuckles against 2-1 Kazuhiro. Both of them have the opportunity to be down in the history as the first middleweight champion of The Fallout. Isn't that good? If they agree so, I smells one hell of a fight. Knuckles is one heck of a knockout artist, downing all three of his opponents with his knuckles within 2 minutes. His nickname? Good Night Mate, so have fun staying awake against him. Kazuhiro on the other hand, is an ex-AXF fighter, while Knuckles is fighting in the independent circuit, he is fighting big names out there. So, I guess the crowd will be cheering for him despite he's not a local Aussie. He has impressive KO power but what lethal about him is his BJJ, his ancestor is some of the greatest samurais ever, knowing the skill of Jiu-jitsu like the inside of their palm and so did Kazuhiro, he has good Jiu-Jitsu experience and also a BJJ brown belt, and has 2 wins by kimura under his belt. Who will win? The Knuckle or Ryuu? A historical moment will be there on June 12, 2010.

Prediction: Knuckles, KO.

"The Koala Killer" Brett Yarris vs "Knesset Guard" James Ytlear

Last but not least, our main event bout is a lightweight bout between two impressive fighters, I can say they both are among the most experienced fighters in the organization. Let's start with Yarris, 8-8, ex-OFC lightweight champion, is a very determined fighter, no losses by KO, 75% of his win by KO, he is a real killer inside the ring. One good thing about him, he has unusual big hand for a lightweight fighter, that's a serious problem to anyone against him. Ytlear, 9-5, biggest win is against Samir "The King" Kahn(9-3), has 89% of his win by submission, impressive wrestling and BJJ ability but zero standup ability. This fight will be the typical standup vs ground, with the key being how well you can defend against your opponent in their game and how can you pull him to your game. Will Ytlear gets his milestone of 10 wins? Or will Yarris breaks his dream? It's all about to happen, The Vault 003, June 12, 2010!

Prediction: Ytlear, Submission(Armbar).

Ladies and Gentlemen its Peter Steel and tonight on the Show we have, The Fallout - Vault MMA lightweight Champion BJ Howard with us tonight.

Peter: Thanks for coming onto the show

BJ Howard: No problem its my pleasure

Peter: Let's get right into it shall we, first of how does it feel to be the current Lightweight Champion?

BJ Howard: It feel's great considering my entire division goal is to beat me to a pulp hahaha

Peter: Hahah, Now you won your belt, at the very first Fallout event, where you surprised by a instant title shot?

BJ Howard: Kind of, but i was very eager to prove my self and win the title

Peter: Then in the next Fallout event, you defended your title against Rickson Gracie, by TKO in 20secs of the first round, considering your more of a BJJ guy did this surprise you?

BJ Howard: Not really, we were both equal at BJJ, but my striking and wrestling was on a different league to his, so me and my coaching team decided to stand and bang, and we

were planning to knock him out in the first round

Peter: Now you have 3 very dangerous and game opponents ready for you, James Ytlear, Brett Yarris and your next fight is with Colin McDermott, what are your thoughts?

BJ Howard: I'm really happy with Mavin Artist the president of the org, he brought in top competitors for me to challenge my self with and bring great fights for the fans, as

for the fights themselves, im confident with all of them, the toughest is going to be with Colin, I'm slightly better at boxing and BJJ, but he is better at Mu Thai and

Wrestling, so it's going to be a interesting fight, im training hard at the moment and i will be ready for whatever Colin can bring

Peter: There you have it folks, words from the Lightweight Champ himself, any final words champ?

BJ Howard: Yeah... Colin, on July 19th you better bring ur A game, cause if you don't you may find your self in a world of pain buddy

Tommy Henderson was quick to comment after his submission victory at Vault 003

"Mafusa tried hard and I thought that maybe if he clipped me I would have went down. Just like I said i made him tap and next in my sights is Nate Knuckles. He has some awesome standup but I know that when it comes down to it he will tap just like everyone else!"

When asked about the 185lbs title Tommy replied.

"Nate, that belt is mine"

Vault 003 Review

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/Goliath764/HustlerD.jpg

This report is brought to you by Hustler D.

This is the brother of Joker, Hustler D, taking his role for an article as my brother was busy dealing with Batman this few days. Batman decided to fly to Australia to mess with the underworld here and my brother will not allow that! We are going to own him and whatever the superhero team throws to me and my brother!

Anyway...ahem ahem, back to business. At June 12, 2010, Vault 003 received the greatest event rating ever for The Fallout Vault MMA organization, topping the chart with 62.75 rating and the arena was sold out. I guess mr.Mavin Artist should consider switching to a bigger arena soon. This event was good in my opinion, but I'd like a few more finishes.

"BJ King" Craig Sutherland vs Oliver "Stonehands" Silver

The opener was a good one, but too one-sided to suit my test. Basically, we have Sutherland crushing Silver on every aspect of the game, mostly standup. What I was wondered for the entire match is Sutherland's clinch and break play. Dangerous but he was able to control and have fun, so whatever. My brother has this one in the bag.

Bam "Bam Bam" Bam vs Cliff Sierra

This one was ok, but the crowd liked the first one more than this, so whatever. Well...actually, this one got a boo for too many missing strikes despite good strategy on both side. Sierra went with low kicks and more low kicks and some accidental groin kicks until he was gassed...just a minute later. At that time, Bam took him down with a smile and just owns him on the ground...not very exciting actually, he missed a lot. The second round was all Bam's, takedown after takedown. Third round's the same. Sierra won the first round though for good ground defense and leg kick swinging, but lost the last 2 rounds, given the victory to Bam Bam. And there we go, my brother got it right again.

James Bryce vs Greko "The Wrestler" Roman

You don't get better Greco-Roman wrestling lesson than a lesson by Greko "The Wrestler" Roman. This was a three rounds of personal 1 on 1 sparring with mr.Greko for Bryce. Bryce was doing something wrong starting from the beginning, trying to take a wrestler down? Haha, you are the one DOWN!!! Roman is obviously playing with Bryce, lay'n'pray until the referee stood them up and then another takedown, rinse and repeat. Bryce did try to clinch but thinking that he might get taken down anyway, broke every clinch attempt and got taken down anyway. C-C-C-Combo Breaker, wrong guess by The Pimp this time.

John Barker v Rambo John J

Finally a goddarn mother f***ing KO!!! A nice finish by Rambo, that sure was a Rambo-ish freaking-powerful finish by Rambo John J. John was being overconfident, walking into a overhead hook of John...oh wait, two Johns? Ok. Barker was being overconfident, walking into a overhead hook of Rambo J. Barker was smiling though and stood back up. Darn, this guy was either a tough freak or a crazy guy. Barker ducked away from the 1-2 coming next and avoided a shouryouken by Ryu...I mean Rambo John J. I don't know if I spell it right but any gamer should know what move I am talking about. John then circled to the right, thinking that Rambo was going for a right punch, Rambo changed his plan and a powerful fist that was on fire for a second there, clipped on the chin of Barker and he was down and out. The Pimp has the perfect guess this time, KO by Rambo John J.

"Brutal" Tommy Henderson v Efe "Voodoo" Mafusa

I was rocking myself on Henderson's techno entrance, shaking my head like a stupid clown for minutes there(Voice: Hey dude, you are a clown) Oh really? Alright. The match was quick and beautiful. Voodoo was doing alright, sprawling and hitting great strikes over "Brutal" but "Brutal" saw a real chance and quickly went for a takedown. That was an instant full-mount from "Brutal". I admit, that was really Brutal! Henderson decided to go through his menu, guillotine, not good enough; kimura, nope; arm triangle, failed; Americana? Yes, that's the correct answer and you won the fight, mr.Henderson! Nice pick, my brother.

Matt Hawk vs "The Mantis" Kent Ortega

This was another nice match. Both were evenly matched. Hawk was doing good on the firround, cutting Ortega early on that right with a beautiful right hand. Then it's all 70% standup, 30% of clinch and ground. By the end of the round, Ortega's cut got worst by another good shot from Hawk. The second round was not going well for Ortega as first, he was still partially rocked, clinching on the early minute but kept on failing it as Hawk pushed the zombie-like Ortega away again and again. Ortega, in return, sprawled his way out of every takedown. It was a boring round, with Ortega scoring better due to better control I guess. Third round, Ortega going for a few head kicks, Hawk with some punches and then it's all the same like 2nd round. Ortega won for better control and defense I guess, but I would wish Hawk to win, guess he just fail to take Ortega down too many times. That's another wrong pick by my brother.

Jermain Walcott vs Mad Hatter

Walcott was outclassed by Hatter's excellent boxing. Around 40 seconds into the match, an 1-2 combo almost knocks Walcott out but his chin was good enough to stay in it and Hatter failed to hit a combination before Walcott was back to his senses. Walcott was...missing almost every strikes. From that statistic, he was missing every strike. So, Hatter basically sprawl and brawl for the whole 3 rounds. The closes to a knockout was on the first round though, I guess Hatter just don't have enough stamina to throw big punches after the first round. Another correct guess by Joker.

Tragic "TripTrap" Tinkelbery vs "Hard As Nails" Glenn Archer

Archer knew he has a "hard as nails" chin and decided to went for takedown as much as possible. He first round, he failed many of them and Tinkelbery was countering very well. The round ended with a takedown by Archer after like...near 10 attempts form what I see. Second round, classic lay'n'pray by Archer, a style that me and the crowd didn't like one bit, but was a good strategy for Archer. I don't know why he didn't go for submission thought, he was a purple belt in BJJ. Third round, the same, both Archer and Tinkelbery was not doign much on the ground and surprisingly, we didn't see any referee standup. I guess the referee is sleeping too...Archer won the last 2 rounds and won it. Correct pick.

Nate "Good Night Mate" Knuckles vs Katsuro "Ryuu" Kazuhiro

Short but powerful, that's how I will describe the co-main event. Kazuhiro knew he was having a hard time dealing with Knuckles in a standup battle, in which he was cut after just six seconds into the match. He was rocked two seconds later, but able to close in and clinch to recover. He then went for a guard pulling but Knuckles was able to pull himself away from the grip of Kazuhiro. Knuckles walked away and Kazuhiro forced himself to stand up. Then, Knuckles went with his "Good Night Mate' combination of 1-2-3; left-right-uppercut and there goes Kazuhiro. Good night, mate. Correct guess and finish by Joker.

"The Koala Killer" Brett Yarris vs "Knesset Guard" James Ytlear

Holy shit! This one is one hell of a main event. The crowd was cheering crazily for the entire 3 rounds. Ytlear started the match with some wild takedown attempts and eventually got one. Ytlear then decided to get up after not more than half a minute though. Yarris followed and threw a overhead right swing that cut Ytlear and drew some wild applause from the crowd. Then, Ytlear took Yarris down again, realizing standup was not his game. Referee standup later due to the amount of action was so little. Yarris went ahead killing Ytlear with his boxing ability, knocking Ytlear down but not out but Ytlear ws able to regain himself from the half-out situation. Ytlear slammed Yarris and claimed the mount position but decided to standup? What were he thinking? Then he took Yarris down real soon and attempted a few submissions but there's no fruit from them. I guess Ytlear's strategy was to get more points with successful takedown or maybe his ground and pound just wasn't good enough. 2nd round, Yarris stood up twice in 2 minutes and the 2nd time was from mount position. Ytlear took Yarris down for the 3rd time a few seconds later, claiming the mount position for the 2nd time, only to control for a while and lost it again. Yarris was launching missiles as much as possible on the really lacking standup time he has. Ytlear took two more takedowns and that's the end of 2nd round. Final round, Yarris knew Ytlear's gameplan too well now and decided to brawl like a monster to start with. He was defending well against Ytlear's takedown but Ytlear was doing fine against Yarris's striking. After 50 seconds of struggle, Ytlear did a beautiful feint and took Yarris down on the mat. The crowd was cheering for Ytlear, "Finish! Finish! Finish! Finish!". However, Ytlear didn't do much, he was too tired to do that much. Yarris stood up but everytime, he was taken down again as he was tired too and have no power to sprawl very quick. On the 3rd minute, Yarris stood up and went for the clinch. Now, that's something new. Yarris's clinchwork was overpowering Ytlear's level of clinchwork. Yarris landed 10+ punches and a few elbows in the short frame of 2 minutes. Ytlear, knew he couldn't last out very long, decided to jump guard but he failed twice and the time's up. 1st round, Yarris; 2nd round, Ytlear; 3rd round, judge Mangel went for Ytlear but the other two judges decided to give 10 to both, ending the match with a majority draw.

My brother accomplished his target of 6 guesses and 2 finishes guess with 7 correct guesses and 3 with correct finish. Great job, Joker The Pimp! Darn it, my brother calls me just now and asks for some support from me. Time's up, see you all next time.

Fight of the Night - Brett Yarris vs James Ytlear. Awesome main event, no doubt it's the FotN.

KO of the Night - Rambo John J. Clean knockout, no rocked, knockdown whatsoever and it's a single hook, that top the list.

Submission of the Night - Tommy Henderson. A swift Americana, worth the effort. And I don't have much choice, really.

Press Conference before the epic weekend

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/Goliath764/HustlerD.jpg

This report is brought to you by Hustler D.

Yo, it's the hustler again, hustling over things happening around The Fallout MMA. This week, we have two events, Vault 004 for Saturday and Vault 005 for Sunday. Vault 004 is no doubt, our biggest event, locating on Paddy O'Malley's Bar with 700 seats on it. That card features three title fights; Vault 005, on the other hand, features Yarris vs Ytlear II, and both of them promised to end their fight with a perfect finish to decide the final winner.

On the recent press conference, Mavin Artist, the CEO of the company, decided that every main event will be a 5 rounds fight. Of course, it's 5 rounds of 5 minutes. He said that, "The fans fully deserve to see a great main event, title fight or not, fans should get the most out of the main eventers. Thus, changing the default 3 rounds fight into a 5 rounds fight, will increase the chance for a clean finish and also extended entertainment value even if the fight is dragged onto a decision." Well done mr.Mavin, I love this and am looking forward to the great Yarris vs Ytlear II, 5 rounds version.

In the weigh-in, the heat was on the main event of Vault 004, BJ Howard had a long staredown with his opponent, Colin McDermott. In a recent interview, BJ Howard stated that he feared no one, not even Yarris or Ytlear(and the winner of that fight will probably be the no.1 contender for the title of Howard), not even McDermott. In the staredown, McDermott has a confident smile on his face, both cocky and confident. Darn, this is going to be a good fight.

Nothing much really happened, it was a basic press conference with just...that much of heat. Mavin Artist asked me to discontinue the preview for now, until a very huge event that's it. Good for me, cuz I am going to save my brother from the prison. Hustler D, out. See you all on Monday's review!

Tommy Henderson was very quick to comment on his main event fight at Vault 006.

"It's going to be my toughest challenge to date. Henry is quite a fighter and his stand up really makes me look like a rookie! My ground game is really going to do need some work if I want to win this one.

Colin McDermott Ready for First Title Defense

The Fallout 155lb champion Colin McDermott has let the media into one of his training sessions, ahead of his fight with James Ytlear at Vault 007.

McDermott, currently ranked #9 in Sydney's Lightweight division, made mention of a need to "round out" his training regiment.

"I'm 7 & 5, and all but one of my wins has come via submission, and while that's nice, one day there'll come a guy who just won't submit" McDermott said after one of his Muay Thai sparring sessions. "That's why I'm focusing on improving my striking before my next fight."

There was a feeling amongst many commentators before his Fallout debut fight with BJ Howard that the brown-belted Howard would have the edge over McDermott on the ground, but a submission victory just 62 seconds into the match allayed most of those fears.

BJ Howard former Fallout Lightweight Champion has a statement concerning Colin McDermott;

"Colin Mcdermott beating me was 100% fluke, 9 times out of ten ill kick that guys ass, to bad for me this was the one in ten, but don't worry, after i win my next fight, I'm coming for my belt, get ready for me"

Vault 004 & Vault 005 Review

http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/3927/jokerthepimpfallout.jpg http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/7749/hustlerdfallout.jpg

This report is brought to you by Joker The Pimp and Hustler D.

Awesome weekend! But the review came late due to the recent prison break and fight with Batman. Meh...no one can stop the Clown Brothers anyway, so let's go. Vault 004 turns out to be the greatest event of The Fallout MMA until now, clowning the chart with a rating of 68.49, Vault 005 isn't bad either, with the rematch gets thing settled between Ytlear and Yarris. Mark Hatmake is on the blacklist of Vault MMA and other Sydney orgs after we get the information out. That dumb freak didn't get to weight for his fight even when he knew how to control his weight. The Fallout MMA shows no mercy to such spoilers to the event and we, the Clown Brothers, will haunt him for the rest of his life. This week, Joker The Pimp will write for 004 and Hustler D will write for 005.

Vault 004

Benny Tronk vs Tyler Davis

An easy fight from Benny Tronk, dominating his opponent Davis for two rounds and ended the fight with a easy kneebar.

Hammer Fire vs John Daville

After a few head kicks and punching by Fire, Daville was rocked hard by a beautiful head kick and the hammer jammed to the left side of his face, bringing him down on the floor. Good sprawl and brawl by Hammer Fire.

Hattori Hanzo vs William Brodie

Both were ground fighters, and Hanzo was outclassed by Brodie's impressive performance tonight, with more ferocious takedown, Brodie secured a win even though he didn'tr eally do much when he was on top position on the ground. Well, Hanzo failed to do much either so that explains the win.

Vance Vorhees vs Richard Callaghan

Next, we have a slow battle against two counter-strikers. And when I said slow, it's really slow. Everyone agrees with it, as the crowd was rioting for actions and both fighters just didn't care. After a slow-paced fifteen minutes, Richard Callaghan won with better accuracy and doing more than Vorhees.

He Me vs Curtis Sharp

After the cold period of a slow fight and then a no contest(thanks to Mark Hatmake), He Me woke me up a little with his impressive display in clinchwork and Muay Thai brute force. The mario-like He Me dominated Sharp all three rounds in the clinch, as he moved into clinch just seconds after the bell rung, you knew it's all He Me and zero Sharp. Sharp durvived the onslaught with his good chin and heart, but still, the score of 90:77 is too much, Sharp needs to improve in his next fight.

Liste Pik vs Olivier Bouleau

Next, we have Pik against Boulaeu. Basically, this is sort of a BJJ match and it's not bad actually. Bouleau was more active than Pik in the ground and landed more takedown than Pik. Pik was not bad, working on his position from the bottom almost all the time but failed to do too much impact with either his ground and [ound or his submission. Bouleau couldn't stop Pik either, but his takedown ability and aggressiveness grabbed the judges' attention.

KooK Connor vs Andre Galvao

Alright, title fight. Is this good? This sure is. The alien-face Connor was dominated by his predator, Andre Galvao. Connor wanted to stand and bang, quite obvious from the fight, and Galvao decided to try and slam him down as soon as possible. Connor was not weak, he did defend against a few takedowns but Galvao was patient enough, forcing Connor to strike him

first or waste his time there, and Connor's aggresiveness paid off. Connor did defend well on the ground on the first round, until the 2nd minute. Galvao on mount position? That's like an instant R.I.P. written on your face. Connor showed his great heart, defending against the bullets of Galvao for the entire 3 minutes. Second round, Connor was too inactive there, looking for counter but Galvao was good, landing a takedown into half guard and slowly work his position to the mount and end the match with a guillotine choke and making himself the new welterweight champion!

William Brooks vs Lothar Dornier

Ok, the welterweight championship fight is awesome! That makes me enter the co-main event with a good mood. Next one is a light heavyweight championship bout, Brooks directly hit a takedown into mount in less than 10 seconds into the match but Dornier is no easy opponent, moving Brooks back to half-guard after a while and try to fight back. Brooks landed some vicious pounding attacks while Brooks was looking for submission, but found no opening. The, Brooks was heavily cut by Dornier. Dornier, delighted, stood up and play his own game in the clinch, winning round 1 easily. 2nd round, Dornier was taken down again but this time, looking for submission more aggresively, but found nothing. Dornier's control and GnP gets the 2nd round. 3rd round was another round of ground action and Dornier won it just 30 seconds left before the end of the fight. The referee stood them up just after the 3rd minute and both fighters struggled a bit in the standup. Dornier suddenly came quick with a takedown to mount and quickly turned to back position as he countered Brooks's attempt to escape the position, choking Brooks out from the back position. Great rear naked choke made Dornier the new LHW champion.

BJ Howard vs Colin McDermott

Two new champions, BJ Howard is going to feel anxious, will he be the only defending champion in the night? He sure hoped for that. However, McDermott was too good for that to happen. McDermott faked a clinch then easily took Howard down to the ground. From the side control position, McDermott locked a tight arm triangle without much problem and squeezed surprised Howard until he was out cold. The crowd was cheering wildly at McDermott's domination against the now ex-champion, three new champions in one night. Holy shit!

FotN - William Brooks vs Lothar Dornier

SotN - Andre Galvao

KotN - Hammer Fire

Vault 005

Rambo John J vs Tappy McOut

The opener was surprisingly good, with John J landing a lot of his powerful punches and cut McOut with an awesome four punch combo. THen, McOut landed a takedown and the fight turned 180 degree. McOut worked his way to the mount position and then locked a beautiful armbar with a feint move. That will break John J's greatest weapon, nice move by McOut.

Justin Angle vs Bark Er

This fight is surprisingly close, but it wasn't really fast paced. Angle dominated the entire first round, ground, standup, wherever they was on, Angle was winning, and Barker has an early cut as well, which means Angle has the advantage into the second round. Second round, Angle was toying with Barker and I love the last minute, full-forced standup battle, brawl and sprawl at its finest form, nice 1 minute of display there. Last round, Barker has better control of the flow, but that didn't help him enough to survive an unanimous decision in the favor of Angle.

John Barker vs Efe Mafusa

This was another close match. Closer than the last match in my opinion. Barker aggresiveness and success in counter attack granted him the first round, I love his frequent clinch and smash on Mafusa. Second round was everyone's game. Both fighters missed a lot of their move but when something landed, they landed in great fashion. I love Mafusa's head kick after his dodge on Barker's low kick and Barker's counter-takedown. Awesome round. Last round, Mafusa has the nod, he was more energetic than Barker on that round, did more damage and had better control of that round. In the end, it was a draw with the score of 86:86.

James Bryce vs Maurizio Marchetti

This match wasn't good, I went out to buy some hotdogs to eat in the middle of it. Basically, Bryce's strategy of clinching and then take your down works well enough for all three rounds to get his victory against Marchetti, which just couldn't do anything to at the utes.

Cliff Sierra vs Hanzo Chiba

This one isn't that good either, every round was just too systematic. Sierra was focusing on leg kicks for the entire 15 minutes; Chiba aiming for takedown and submission. First and second round, Sierra managed to stuff enough takedown to gain the point. Third round, Chiba landed his takedowns(finally) but failed to submit Sierra. Still, Chiba has that round in check because Sierra basically just slept through the round on the floor. In the end, Sierra won by winning two rounds.

TJ Junior vs Fat Harry

Harry was all for takedown while Junior was much more clever, landing some punches as Harry was charging like a mad bull and took his time to land a takedown of his own, mounting Harry easily and finished the fight with an elbow and two punches later the referee pushed Junior off, TKO by Junior.

Matt Hawk vs Dexter Morgan

Ok, this is staged. You know what? At the exact time of 1:05 into round one, Hawk defeated Morgan in the almost same way as Junior defeated Harry. Morgan was all Harry, charging like mad bull and Hawk took Morgan down and mounted him. Hawk wasted more time on the ground compare to Junior, but the elbow of destiny did its work and knocked Morgan off the Earth and the referee pushed Hawk off Morgan after two more punches following the elbow. Same fashion at all. I am sure people watching from TV will go WTF? Cuz the two openers in TV was almost the same.

Enrique Rizzo vs Russel Bell

This match was all Rizzo, dominating Bell for the entire 3 rounds. Stand up, Rizzo knocked the meat out of Bell's leg with a freaking lot of leg kicks, statistic shows me there's 41 leg kicks landed, and then 8 body kicks took bell's gut and lung out of control. Rizzo also landed punches, elbows and knees in standup and clinch, showing that he could use all "eight limbs"(Muay Thai's theory) very well. Bell couldn't do anything, he didn't go for any punches or whatever, all he looking for was takedown and even if he took Rizzo down on rare occasion, he failed to keep him on the ground. Rizzo won easily.

Hellen Keller vs Glenn Archer

The first round was close, with Archer winning on the scoreboard but I thought it was Keller's. Most of the time spent on that round was on the clinch, and then we had some ground battle. Second round, Keller's clinch was working better this time, as he worked well for the first minute inside the clinch, landing some good shots. Then, we have a lot of standup and clinch battle, but none of the two was significant. Third round was just like the second round, and Archer just couldn't land a takedown, and in the end, Keller won.

Brett Yarris vs James Ytlear

Alright, Yarris & Ytlear II, I expect some awesome shit and I got some. Ytlear drived Yarris into a takedown after taking a jab, showing that he doesn't faer Yarris at all but Yarris was controlling well enough. However, Ytlear's training proved to be good enough, taking Yarris down yet again, some submission attempts but no fruit. Yarris pushed Ytlear and got back up but only for a few seconds. Then, Ytlear took him down again and locked Yarris into a kimura, hard work by Ytlear ended the feud of them with a submission move. That's it, Ytlear is probably the no.1 contender for the lightweight title for now. Colin McDermott, who was sitting on the VIP seat, had a nice smile on his face. I smells awesome fight and another blood feud.

FotN - Justin Angle vs Bark Er

SotN - Tappy McOut

KotN - split pot between Matt Hawk and TJ Junior? Both finish at the same time, in the same fashion, so why not?

Thanks for all the fighters for their great work. The Fallout MMA will be good to you as long as you don't N/C a fight like mr.Hatmake there. We, The Fallout MMA, will never allow some event spoilers inside our great community, until then, have fun with your training and good luck to all the fighters of Vault 006, never leave it at the hands of the judges!

Hello folks, its Frank Water, We are here backstage at The Fallout - Vault 006 at the locker room of BJ Howard, he has just gotten a win over a top contender Brett Yarris

Frank: BJ how do you feel?

BJ: I feel great, its a great feeling getting the win here tonight

Frank: Now Mid way through the fight, it looked like you got hit with a nice shot, you stumbled back a bit from it, how badly were you hurt?

BJ: Yeah, he is good with his hands, so i was excepting to get hit eventually, the hit didn't really rock me but i felt it

Frank: What really won you the fight was your ability to take him down at will, did you see that coming into the fight?

BJ: Yeah, i mean I've seen most of his fights and he gets taken down really easy, he hasn't really improved on his TD defense at all and that to bad for him i guess

Frank: Your fight, was easily the most cheered fight of the entire night, do you feel you could win fight of the night?

BJ: You know, it's not up to me, it's up to the editors, hopefully they give me and Ytlear, FOTN if not, I'll get it next fight haha

Frank: Last Question, now that you have bounced back with a win, do you feel your closer to a rematch for the belt?

BJ: Hopefully, we'll see what Marvin does, he is the boss, what he said goes, but i will say one thing, its awfully cold with nothing around my waist, i really need to put something there

Vault 006 Review

http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/3927/jokerthepimpfallout.jpg

This report is brought to you by Joker The Pimp.

Tee hee! Joker The Pimp went home happily after the awesome night of Vault 006, this card almost top the record of Vault 004's 68.49 with its 67.89. Still, it top the chart of highest attendance as Wild Bob's Bar is totally packed with a crowd of 750 men and I don't know how many rats and insect in there. Well, the good thing is that The Fallout is growing, after a glimpse on the account statement[illegally, but Joker is just too good in doing illegal things without getting caught], the ticket revenue and fighter pay of 006 is the highest of The Fallout as of now. Awesome indeed. This org will rock Sydney in-and-out like I rock the thirty girls last night on my underground asylum. Bullshit aside, let's get it on.

Junior Zappa vs Lee Rockfist

Zappa came out surprisingly good this time, providing the crowd an awesome opener with his domination. Zappa missed a leg kick but followed up with two solid shots to Rockfist's body. He pursuited, and we saw Rockfist down after a 1-2. He was rocked and cut by that awesome combo. Zappa didn't wait, he jumped in, looked for the arm of Rockfist and forced Rockfist to tape with a kimura. Rockfist just can't do anything in there.

Kid Koala vs Baby Jay

Koala came in strong with some combination but he just missed everything and Jay took the fight to the ground. Jay then started his series of BJJ movement but nothing did its job. Koala found a chance and stood up but he was throwing his punches to air and Jay was able to counter with perfect accuracy. Damn, Jay sure was fighting good and then Jay brought the fight to the ground to end round 1. Round 2, jay took Koala down and control the ground action like a general, preventing the referee standup with enough aggresion while keeping the moderate flow going so he wasn't overworking himself. 3rd round, Koala has another chance to punch Jay, but he failed yet again. The torment of Koala ended 30 seconds earlier as Jay finally locked an armbar after a beautiful transition.

Paul Burke vs Bam Bam

I love Burke's music. RICKROLLING!!!!!!!! The fight was a complete BJJ contest. Not really without ground and pound by Burke was defending well enough and Bam just get a good shot in except in rare occasion. Bam was actually winning the match, his aggresiveness got the nod of the judges until late period of round 3. The takedown-and-do-nothing Burke suddenly has the mood to go for a submission, with a beautiful transition of his own, he was able to squeeze the life out of Bam and won the match surprisingly. Well, there's not surprise in MMA I guess.

Jason Kain vs Shane Williams

Manson's song? That Kain is probably a dark guy like the Joker, maybe we can be friend. Tee hee! Not really, because Kain's ability just couldn't be on par with Joker, it's just too far away, as we see Kain's failure against Williams tonight. The fight went through all three positions: standup, clinch and ground and Williams was winning every aspect of the fight. All the rounds were back-and-forth with Williams has the best round on the second. William's clinchwork in that round was very good and he also dominated the ground. In the end, Williams won with unanimous decision.

Jose Rodriguez vs Mad Hatter

There's backstage rumor that both fighters are paid to standup. However, it's bullshit! Rodriguez just didn't give a damn about the rumor and slammed Hatter into the ground very soon. Hatter was able to hold on until the referee stood them up but Rodriguez was dominating the round with his wrestling prowess. Round 2, was just like GSP vs Hardy, Hardy went in with some attack but GSP always took him down, and may I add easily? Hatter, with lower amount of energy now, was having a hard time defending against Rodrigue's ground and pound especially after Rodriguez took the mount position, it's certainly game over for Hatter. Hatter did show his heart by not giving up but a big shot of Rodriguez slammed hard on Hatter's chin and Hatter was out cold, despite how big his heart was, he couldn't stand that shot.

Marc Wholeman vs Benny Tronk

Both guys entered the fight with some nice songs to boot and Tronk locked a clinch easily just as soon as the bell rung. Wholeman did well enough though, defending the first minute good enough and Tronk took the fight to the ground, trying to submit Wholeman but failed to and he was giving up position to Wholeman. Wholeman worked his way very well, and able to land a sweep. After the sweep, Wholeman countered with his own ground and pound until the end of the round. The fightback gained some wild cheer from the crowd. Second round, Tronk took Wholeman down again, I personally don't think it's a good move, and we can see that as Wholeman owned the round once again. 3rd and Last round, Wholeman decided to go for it himself, slamming Tronk to the ground and dominated through that round to get his unanimous decision win.

Kent Ortega vs Katsuro Kazuhiro

This night was full of domination and this match was no different. Kazuhiro basically took the fight to the ground and Ortega couldn't really do much except improving his position. Kazuhiro, after few minutes of hardwork, was able to end the fight with a rear naked choke.

Vance Vorhees vs Shane Gould

Now, this is a high tempo brawling match. The sad thing is that Gould lacks accuracy to make this the match of the night. Vorhees basically dominated Gould from the first second till the end. Vorhees was very good with his counter, forcing Gould to take the initiative and then strike back. It worked. One thing was that Vorhee didn't aim for the head, weird strategy and he couldn't really knock someone out with that sort of approach. Well, at least he did get a win by unanimous decision, but the crowd was wishing for a KO for sure.

BJ Howard vs Brett Yarris

Yarris went in with a cracking right hand, but failed to impress me after that as Hoawrd was able to take him down and work on him. First time, Yarris did get back up but he was taken down again later. Then, it was Howard's world and Yarris was taken down no matter how many times he stood up and the fight ended short after the beginning of round 2, as Howard ended the fight with a kimura.

Tommy Henderson vs Henry Hillbilly

This main event was quick and explosive, Henderson missed a takedown and Hillbilly missed with a few punches. It was all ok though, as Hillbilly took the mount position with a takedown of his own. What happened next was all about Hillbilly cracking the bones of Henderson with punches and punches, holding his position tightly and finished the fight with a powerful shot to the head.

McDermott Vows to Return a Winner

Colin McDermott felt down, but not out, after a submission loss to James Ytlear at Vault 007.

"I can honestly say that I didn't take him seriously" McDermott said in a post-match interview. "I thought that with my stand-up skills much better than his that I could take the fight easy, but MMA's a funny thing!"

The back & forth struggle was scored a perfect 100% by mmatycoon.com, and headlined the first 90+ rated event in the promotion's history.

McDermott is scheduled to face BJ Howard in a rematch of their June 19th fight, with the winner earning a match for the championship belt.

"I've heard Howard's manager saying that my victory was a fluke, well I can assure you that nothing I do is a 'fluke'!" McDermott said. "I submitted him in 62 seconds last time, and he'd better pray to the whichever God's handiest to him that he lasts that long in the rematch!"

Vault 007 Review

http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/3927/jokerthepimpfallout.jpg

This report is brought to you by Joker The Pimp.

Tee hee! I got a feeling, that tonight's gonna be a good night, that tonight's gonna be a good night, tonight is gonna be a good good night. With Black Eyed Peas's I Got A Feeling rolling on my personal helicopter's radio on my way to the arena, I knew tonight's gonna be a good night for sure. Indeed! The Pimp was nothing but a prophet as The Fallout broke the record of event rating with a huge margin away from the 2nd place on the record. Vault 007's rating is 90.89, that was indeed a huge jump from the almost-70 range, thanks to the great fights high up on the card. With no further bullshit, The Joker leaped directly from the roof where the helicopter stopped and landed in front of the stage. Well, if you are going to ask how the F I can survive such a jump, that's because I am an epic villain, you don't see an epic character like me die by jumping from roof, do you?

Curtis Sharp vs Justin Angle

Is this the record-breaking KO? I guess so, cuz I didn't know if there's a faster knockout than this one. Angle rushed at Sharp in the begining of the match and took a crescent moon to the head - a big head kick by Angle - of himself. Sharp asked Angle to stand back up and then landed a uppercut to the body and then his other hand swung for another uppercut on the chin, both landed and Angle went down without any resistance. Now that's one impressive opener to heat things up.

Shane Gould vs Kent Ortega

Ortega quickly put Gould in a thai clinch and landed a big knee that sounded like the end of the world for Gould. However, Gould's chin took the hit and yelled for more, and Ortega didn't provide that because he brook the clinch, only to be on the receiving end of two punches that cut him. Ortega then went on a rampage, landing 10+ strikes perfectly, cutting Ortega hard and ended the fight with a straight left that dropped Ortega down. Ortega turtled up and get swarmed by punches until the referee stops and declares a TKO.

KooK Connor vs Glenn Archer

The third fight, something I realized on their entrance is that Archer was very focus on the night and that might be his key to win. Connor defended takedowns from Archer well, stalking Archer, waiting for Archer to tired himself. Then, Connor went for a clinch but didn't really utilize it. However, he went for a nice combo and it did the job by cutting Archer's right eye. Connor continued to damage Archer, through standup and clinch but...one mistake ruined Connor's victory, at around 3:08, Archer finally drived Connor down to the ground with a takedown and then a quick arm triangle to seal the deal. What a surprisely fast payback! That's like a roller coaster ride, awesome submission!

TJ Junior vs Utah Jones

Next we have a middleweight bout between two young, new stars. First round, Jones took Junior down and started his road to submission victory, he went for an armbar from mount position but didn't do well, ending up swept by Junior. Junior defended submission without problem and landed some ground and pound of his own. Well, the first whole round is about Junior defending against submission and landing huge punches of his own. The round ending with a huge elbow by Junior but Junior's going-for-finish submission attempt didn't worry the superior BJJ player there. Round 2, Junior knocked Jones down with an one-two but asked Jones to get up. Next second, he decided to just go down, taking Jones down with him. Jones working on the bottom, but Junior was defending very well, continue to pound away until the end of the round. Third and final round, it's the same old battle on the ground, and the last five minutes we see Junior didn't get a submission in and we all knew it's going to be a win for Junior...unless all three judges are drunk, on drugs or something. Yes, they were sober, 90:81, Junior won.

Matt Hawk vs Tappy McOut

This one is some good shit. Hawk went in with some stirkes but McOut took him down after taking minor damage on his solid chin. Hawk didn't just lay on his lazy ass anyway, standing up as soon as he sees a chance. McOut gave chase and then another takedown! Hawk took the top position after rolling over an armbar beautifully but didn't do much work on top; McOut on the other hand is busy looking for sub from his guard. Referee decided to stand it up after a boring 2 minutes and the round ended with some exchange of fists. Round 2, Hawk looked more careful and focus, stuffing McOut's takedown and landed some punches. McOut wasn't bad though, his 1-2-3 hurts Hawk badly and that combination set up his takedown into half guard. However, McOut's ground and pound wasn't good enough to bother Hawk very much and his submission wasn't doing its job anyway. Round 3, Hawk knew he needed this round. He has height advantage and better boxing so he went in with some long-range missiles. McOut saw it coming, ducked down from a few wild hooks intended to hit his face and drive Hawk into the ground. Wait? Standing up after that takedown? That's a surprising action by McOut, even the crowd was wondering what the fuck was McOut on. Well, at least McOut's boxing wasn't far from Hawk, as he was landing a good amount of shots. Both fighters are hard to knockout, good showing of their chin. A sloppy combination of Hawk found nothing but air and McOut kicked the leg of Hawk as a payback. Then, McOut took the fight to the ground, working for submission for at least 3 minutes on the ground. Hawk found a chance to kick McOut off but it was the end of the round so he couldn't do anything. Round 1, McOut; Round 2, Hawk; Round 3, McOut.

Tommy Henderson vs Gravy Train

This fight was real quick, Train moving into the fight with his clinch but Henderson didn't like the position and jumped onto the ground. Well, I love how Henderson pulled Train into his guard, excellent jump there. Train wasn't liking the ground this time and decided to stand up. Henderson took the opporturnity and locked a perfect armbar on the standing-up Train, ending the match instantly.

Albert Ashton vs Richard Callaghan

Ashton went for takedown but he couldn't really get it, Callaghan kept his pressure when they were standing and it was working pretty good. On the 2 minutes mark, Ashton took Callaghan down but failed to do much, Callaghan, on the other hand, did a lot when he was upagain. Round 2, Callaghan went into clinch but was annoyed by Ashton's frequent takedown attempt and decided to break it and hit Ashton with more punches and a kick or two in occasion. Round 3 was pretty much the same, but with Ashton taking down Callaghan again this time. Still, Ashton failed to do much and the fight ended with an unanimous decision in favor of Callaghan.

Andre Galvao vs Hellen Keller

Welterweight title on the light, Galvao vs Keller. I serious wonder if Keller could give Galvao his first loss, but whatever. Wait and I would see. Keller went into the match with momentum on his side, a combination and a body kick landed before he took the fight into his clinch. Keller dominated with his muay thai, landing a furious of elbows and knees to Galvao. Galvao knew it was dangerous to be in the clinch but didn't do well in his guard pulling attempts. However, a missed pull forced Keller to back away as Keller didn't want enter Galvao's guard. Galvao stood, only to receive a head kick that almost make him fall down to the ground without sense this time. Keller did Galvao a favor by pulling him back up but Galvao was in his clinch, his playground now and we see Keller again landing some shots before Galvao forced Keller to back away with the same technique. Keller was bored, waited for Galvao to get up and again took him to the clinch position until Galvao was put down by a knee. This time, Keller went to the ground and smashed on Galvao until the referee pushed him away. Holy shit, this guy just dominated the champion of welterweight division.

Enrique Rizzo vs Olivier Bouleau

Both fighters went into the arena with some awesome theme songs. Now that's some quality song for the co-main event. Rizzo went swinging from the beggining, confident with his granite chin and standup ability. Well, he was not overconfident indeed, almost every strike was a hit on Bouleau's head or body and it was a huge head kick that sent Bouleau down on th e floor. Darn it, that kick looked like a mace when it was swinging in mid-air, that's gotta hurt. I totally love the head kicks display of this show and I think we should have a Youtube video - Vault 007's head kicks contribution. That mace hit sliced part of meat on top of Bouleau's left eye and still he stood up, showing his heart of a fighter. Rizzo continued, a body kick and then a huge uppercut that looked exactly like Ken's Shoryouken except Rizzo wasn't jumping. Bouleau fell hard to the ground and the referee rised his hand to stop it. However, Bouleau stood up again. Darn, this was some movie level's heart, most fighter would just lay down and give up, but Bouleau has the heart of steel. Rizzo took Bouleau down the third time with a overhand right, this time following him down on the mat to continue his pounding until the referee was certain this is the end and pushed him away. The Judge showed the world that he's still on one of the top fighter in the division and he wanted a title shot.

Colin McDermott vs James Ytlear

Now, we brought you the main event of the night. McDermott vs Ytlear, lightweight title on the line. This one is obviously a ground battle as we saw the Ytlear rammed McDermott to the ground. Then, they were trading submission move until the referee stood them up. Whatever, they said to the referee and quickly dived into ground shortly after that. Well, it was all back and forth but Ytlear had had better position and control on the first round. Second round, it was another BJJ match for 5 minutes but no victory yet as of now, McDermott did slightly better this round. Round 3, McDermott countered a takedown to his own takedown, taking the better position to boot with. Ytlear did soem good work by pushing McDermott back to his half guard and then defended a bit before capatilize on a mistake by McDermott and locked in a tight guillotine as he pulled McDermott into his full guard. McDermott wanted to get out but failed to, he tapped.

One night, two champions. The Pimp was impressed and was sent home happy by my VIP personal helicopter. Folks, see you all next week!
