So the final lists for the Tycoon Olympics are in and the lists are set. The org owners are currently scampering about to get their picks in order as TWW breaks down every fighter in the Olympics. This will probably be one of the longest write ups known to man so err yes if you want to find a particular fighter control+F is going to be your friend today.

 

 

Bantamweight

 

Starting off at the 135 division we have Sly Randolph (40-16-2) who some may argue is the greatest 145 pounder of all time. The drop down in weight I am assuming is just due to Evo just started to open up a 135 division and none of the fighters making the criteria required. So what makes Sly so special? The fact he has never been knocked out? The fact he is well versed standing and on the ground? After fighting almost every fighter at 145 that is relevant in any sort of way it can’t just be luck. He is in my opinion the favourite to take home the gold medal in this weight class but it will be tough. They are a few 135 pounders in this that could upset the early favourite.

 

Mr Azure (34-6) is Ascensions 135 pounder who is looking to prove he is the best 135 pounder in the game by locking up the gold medal. A long with Sly he is up there with the best shot at earning the gold medal and as long as they don’t lock horns anywhere else in the tourney I am bold enough to make the prediction that this will be the final. He is Ascensions 135 champ and also former Versus 145 and 155 champion. It is worth while noting that Mr Azure is only 3-1 at Bantamweight and it was the only time he was finished. Another interesting fact is if him and Partio meet up it will be the 5^th time the pair have met with Azure leading the count 3-1.

 

Which brings us on to GAMMA’s entry Lik Alotadik (16-4-1), gonna be honest don’t know a lot about the guy. His biggest fight to date was a draw against Quintana in a back and forth contest which should have gone to Quintana but the judges saved him. Lik throws a lot of power and has heavy hands which served him well in the lower leagues but this is the big leagues. I really don’t see him having the skills needed to lock up a win in the Olympics and I am predicting he goes home in the first round.

 

Syn are sending in Jake Lamotta (42-18-1) to fight at 135 and the about the only interesting thing about him is he has 14 tkos 14 subs and 14 decisions. If you ask Scott he is the greatest thing since sliced bread; if you ask anyone else he is just a can. He is a very streaky fighter whose best days are behind him. He does have the skills to compete and could see himself sneak a bronze medal depending on the match ups but he is also one who could go home in the first round.

 

Aggro Damage is sending in is sending in their champion Kim Young II (21-10-1). His greatest weakness is his chin and the inability to take shots. His greatest strength is his KO power but also has a sneaky submission game also. Like a lot of these 135 pounders he is a duel threat standing and on the ground who has a shot providing he can hide his chin and get those takedowns to go far in the Olympics but that chin of his gives some cause for concern. Like Lamotta it really depends on his match ups if he can avoid Sly and Azure in the first round he could see himself fighting it out for the bronze medal.

 

As mentioned previously Sisu is sending in Kauko Partio (36-19-2) as their champion. I wouldn’t let his record fool anyone he has fought some of the best fighters around at 145 and 155. The most interesting fact about him is in his second fight of his career he fought and lost to Boba Fett one of the greatest middleweights to have graced the game. He is a force to be reckoned with and he is the dark horse to win the whole thing. He has defeated the greatest bantamweight in tycoon Clint Lomax and he should be in the medal hunt come the end of the Olympics.

 

TTFC is sending in their 135 champion Chris Mullen (48-18-1) to try and grab a medal. He is just coming off a devastating loss in which he dropped his 145 belt. At one point he was up there with the greatest 135 pounders but has fallen away in his later years as his chin just gets worse and worse. Now a name like his deserves respect but I am going to say he will be going home in the first round. I think that like a few of these fighters he is getting up in age and his aging process has not been a good one. I don’t see him making it past guys like Sly and Azure but as I have said previously that bronze medal position is up for grabs and it would be a fitting way to end his career.

 

CWH is sending in a younger fighter by the name of Bartek Pietrzak (20-6) who is the final fighter at 135. His skills look slightly on the low end to be competing in this but he has a great chin and some other great hiddens to try and escape that. He will be riding on a high after gaining his biggest win to date over Brian Peppers and will be looking to be the fox in the hen house when the Olympics begin. Personally I think this is a step too far for Bartek but the 135 division is shallow and he could find himself a surprise medallist when it is all said and done.

Featherweight

 

Next up is the talent rich 145 division. The 145 division recently has risen as one of the premier divisions in the game with a lot of bright young talent coming out. The 135 in the Olympics sees guys who would are naturally 145 pounders but just couldn’t secure a spot in this weight class so were forced to move down.

 

Let us go in reverse order this time and start off with Kris Marsh (38-10) from CWH. He has been around the block a long time and seems to have stayed as a mid-level guy since the time we fought. His ground game is deadly, if he gets you there you could spend most of the round trying to get off your ass. His chin appears to be a bit on the soft side so that could be his main weakness but he has the experience of being able to hide his chin when needed. This could be his last chance to make the big leap to the elite level but I feel like history has shown he will choke.

 

Zack Allan (31-11-1) is the man who is entering to represent TTFC. Allen is a man I know well from his days in Ascension as the lightweight champion and he appears to be still doing quite well for himself. He has fought at the elite level and proven himself to be more than competent at that level. He could use this as his platform to catapult himself back into the upper echelons again and in my opinion is the dark horse at 145 to do just that.

 

Pikku Nakarainen (33-14-2) is the first of the big names here at featherweight competing at the Olympics under the Sisu banner. Pikku the submission specialist has found himself on the rise up the leader board and is the 145 champ in Sisu. His weaknesses have to be his chin but his biggest strength is his red belt and submission game. He is without doubt the best submission fighter in this Olympics and as we have all seen from previous fights around Tycoon; the submission game is on the rise.

 

Nate Kyzer (32-5-1), Aggro Damage featherweight champion has one of the nicest records on the eye at 145 pounds. When you take a closer inspection of the record you will see why; he has never really faced elite competition. Andy Johnson (7-10) who he fought 3 times isn’t exactly what I would call elite. This will be a fucking huge step up for Nate if he wants to prove himself as one of the top 145 pounders but I have a feeling he will be found out and sent packing in the first round.

 

Matt Miller (34-10-1) coming out of Syn is one of the biggest names at 145. Props to Syn for allowing Miller to come in and try and win a medal for them and medal he should. Kelly is one of the best ground fighter managers in the game and has proven that with a dominant run in Syn. He is one of the very few featherweights yet to taste defeat from Oompa and will be out to de-throne Oompa in this epic featherweight division.

 

Auguste Grimm (15-5-0) is the youngest to compete at 145 in the Olympics and is coming from GAMMA. This here is a huge step up for the young fighter who is coming out of the paddling pool and into the shark tank. He is also the lowest ranking 145 pounder so he has the most to gain here. He may be able to pull off a win just due to the fact he has nothing to lose fighting against these guys but is he also one of the favourites to go home first.

 

Vanilla Ice Cold (27-6-0) has to get his ass on the weight gain to make the required weight I notice. Funny enough that was the first thing I noticed from the Ascension entrant. Considering the guys only loses are to names such as Rafa Silva and Waru Kuzuri the man is a stud. He has no doubt requested to fight at 145 due to the man coming up next entering at 145. He is one of the favourites to take home the gold medal in this weight division and for good reason. He just needs to make sure he goes on the weight gain otherwise he will find himself DQ’d and leave Ascension red faced.

 

Which brings us on to Oompa Loompa (24-3) the number one mini man on the planet who is currently going to fight 135 contender Azure on the 25^th. What can be said about Oompa that hasn’t already been said by his manager? He is currently the fighter of the year and has cleaned house with the featherweight division getting rid of all the old timers. A man with a lot to say and will no doubt keep us entertained through-out the Olympics he is rightfully the favourite to take the gold medal for Evo.

Lightweight

 

So now we move on to the lightweight division and my fingers are starting to regret taking on this challenge of writing up every fighter in the Olympics. They are a stark contrast in the contestants entered from some orgs. Cage Wars and Syn though cannot really be faulted as their 155 champions already has another fighter competing in the same weight division. So let us get the show on the road.

 

Otso Jokinen (59-11-0) the most interesting fact about Otso is that is the first time I have managed to spell his second name without fucking it up. Now really let us look at Otso and really think what has not been said yet again. He is the greatest lightweight to ever have competed in Tycoon and is currently ranked as the number one lightweight in tycoon. He is also argued to be one of the best fighters in tycoon history and is not even the favourite in my opinion to win gold here at the Olympics. The gold medal though would surely be the cherry on top for a career such as Otso’s.

 

Gerard Esqueda (25-10-2) is the Ascension lightweight champion and their entrant in this division. Gerard has had an up and down time of things lately but appears to be back on track. He is a fighter now in his prime and looking to make a statement and run home with the gold medal. In my opinion only way he will do that is if he does a snatch and grab at the podiums. He has fought some big names but he has a lot to prove here that he can actually hang with the elite lightweight fighters out there; as his record shows he has previously not been able to do that.

 

Karl De Groot (47-17-1) is representing GAMMA and is their lightweight champion. He is getting up there in age but doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Karl has never been able to reach the pinnacle of being named the best lightweight in tycoon but has found himself coming close earlier in his career. He has already fought and lost to Otso in a fight which Otso dominated a lot time ago. Now with both men in the twilight of their respective careers I cannot say I am not excited at the prospect of these two old timers going out and giving tycoon a great show.

 

Up next is Jan Zelenka (19-4-1) reppin Syn and will be hoping to stop the two fight skid he is on by a strong performance at the Olympics. Jan is now entering his prime of his career and is looking to kick things up a gear but after losing to Otso’s stable made it could be interesting to see if that sticks in the back of his mind when entering. Jan is the darkhorse to go big in this and I suspect might be in the medals when it is all said and done.

 

AD is sending in Aaron Witt (29-8-2), I am not gonna even look up his profile. He was once used a troll machine who somehow has enough hype to enter this. Must be scraping the bottom of the barrel though, if this is all AD could come up with in my opinion. He will be basically a bye to whoever gets him.

 

Kale Kummola (17-4) is the young gun from Sisu that is entering the Olympics. He looks at a glance a little under skilled to enter with these big guns but his hiddens and finishing abilities could be enough to shock the tycoon world. He will always be a threat in all of his fights in the Olympics and could provide a shock or two if he is overlooked. So far I am pleasantly surprised at some of the fighters stepping forward from Sisu as a new org it is reppin itself very well props to Kole.

 

TTFC enter the first Templeton fighter of the tourney James Howlett (26-5-1). He is one of the favourites to take the gold in the Olympics a long with Otso in my opinion and could be those two squaring off in the finals. He is exceedingly well rounded with great striking and submission skills. He is coming in though off a KO loss to Bickie and will be hoping to rebound with the gold medal and prove that he is the best lightweight in the game.

 

CWH also entering someone less than subpar who I cannot seem to find on their roster list nope can’t find him nor can I be arsed looking him up using the search function. CWH must have wished Templeton entered Karmak and to be honest it would have been epic to see Otso vs Karmak 2.

Welterweight

 

So that is the lightweights now done, I know I never really done two of them but I am gonna be honest I am 2700 words into this now and I am only through the first 3 categories with 5 left to go so I am expecting a bit of slack. It is time to move on to the welterweight division which is one of the more stacked divisions this tourney.

 

Let’s start off with CEC entrant in Doc Chillum (34-15) one of the legends of NFC. He was their champion for quite a while in NFC and some will say like a few others that his better days are behind him either that or he was hand fed cans depending on who you speak to. One thing is for certain when we talk about Doc is that he has been battle tested and came very close to upsetting Otso when he went on his streak. He is now starting to be a little less consistent than we usually see him but in a straight knock out Olympics like this it will be a chance to build on his legacy.

 

Mitsuyo Maeda (18-8-1) is a fighter who someone needs to learn how to spell their name correctly. I spent the better part of 5 minutes trying to find him so a big fuck you to whoever cannot spell his name correctly. He is entering as TTFC’s entrant and a TWGC silver medallist which tells you all you really need to know about this guy. He has been on quite a streak recently and is looking to prove he can fight with the big boys in the Olympics and will be one to watch if he can get the fight on the ground.

 

Shawn Wexler (22-9) is our next fighter hailing from Sisu. An interesting fact about this guy is he has won via stoppage 17 times despite never actually knocking a guy out; he just submits the poor guy first. The strongest grappler here at 170 in the Olympics he will be a nightmare match up for some of the other grapplers in here and could see himself as a surprise package to go all the way and win the thing if matches work in his favour. He has been chin checked a few times which could be a weakness his opponents hope to take advantage of.

 

Aggro Damage is sending in Patrick Jane (36-13-1) as their entrant for the 170 Olympic division. I always what wondered to Jane funny enough as he was at one point the number one welterweight in the game and it appeared as though he just fell off the map. He is the former Empire welterweight champion who has never been knocked out in his career and has an excellent clinch game. His one weakness is his grappling coming from a K-1 background his grappling skills are limited and he has been a sucker for submissions.

 

Shawn Kronburger (38-19) is one of the elder statesmen in the Olympics at the grand old age of 37. One of the surprising things though is he recently went through his best patch of his career not too long ago beating some tough guys along the way; he didn’t just beat these guys he knocked them out. He is an extremely durable fighter who until recently didn’t show much in the way of power. He seems to have found his old man strength and much like the movie Rocky Balboa he is out to show the Tycoon world he has one last fight left in him.

 

Jurmas Uusisto (32-11-1) is GAMMA welterweight champion and number 3 in the welterweight rankings. He is very much a grappler who appears to have found his stride with only a minor blip in his recently against another competitor in the Olympics. His ground game is his obvious strong point but he does seem like he could be a sucker for the good old look low kick high. He is quite possibly GAMMAs best chance to take home a medal in the Olympics but with the grapplers who are here it could be a tough time for him.

 

The number one welterweight Travis Bickie (28-9-2) is next to throw his hat into the Olympics reppin Ascension. He will be feeling confident as the number one welterweight in the world and for good reason as he has been on quite a streak recently against some stellar competition. He also appears to have found his death touch finishing his last two opponents and showed a lot of heart to make it through his last fight; as well as showing off his impressive clinch game. However despite that I think he will be the man who is finds himself going home without a medal. I think styles makes fights and everyone in this matches up really well against Bickie who will have an uphill struggle if he wants to get the gold.

 

Just to give an example of how deep the talent is in the Olympics the number two welterweight Merik Hunt (35-15) is also in for Evo. He is another grappler with some decent stand up skills and has fought some of the best in Evo holding on to that belt of his. He is one of the favourites to medal here but in this division it is a toss-up in my book as everyone has a decent chance of landing a medal. This will be without a shadow of a doubt one of the most exciting divisions to watch in the Olympics and with guys like Hunt who has previously defeated two of the fighters in here will make it a must spoiler.

Middleweight

 

We are at the halfway stage now of this write up and moving on to the middleweight division. The big orgs have sent in their top guns to bring home the gold and bragging rights again in this division so let’s get to it.

 

We are starting things off with Evo middleweight champion and number three in the middleweight rankings Alexander Valentine (42-13-0). Valentine has very much been an underdog his whole career and after seeing off Pluto in the rubber match will be brimming with confidence entering this Olympics. He is a grinder who is as good on his feet as he is on the ground but not much of a finisher at the top level. He is not to be under-estimated and is one of the favourites for gold here in this division but they are some stellar competition for him to face.

 

Sinuhe Egyptian (52-19-2) is classed as one of the greatest welterweights ever in the game and for good reason. He enters as Ascensions rep despite being able to fight for Evo, Syn and GAMMA; yes that is how long he has been about. He made his name in IMMA/Evo being the long-time champion and face of the welterweight division. Recently he has packed on the pounds to go up to middleweight where he has not been so successful. The Olympics is a place where he could cement his legacy of not only being a champion at welterweight but also at middleweight.

 

Sergei Kravinoff (11-3) has not fought a lot as he is now in the prime of his career but in the fights he has taken he has proven himself to be a finisher. It is still early in his career and the Olympics will be his perfect chance to make a splash and be up there with his stable mate Matt Murdock. He is certainly the dark horse to take home the gold as long as match ups fall his way. I forgot to mention at the start he will be reppin GAMMA sorry about that.

 

Kostas Charalabous (30-6), try saying that name in one breath is the number one middleweight on the planet and is looking to put a gold medal next to his name also. He is the Syn middleweight champion and former UPG champion. His main strength is his stand up ability and also his uncanny ability to take your head from your shoulders. His major weakness is also his uncanny like ability to get his head removed from his shoulders. In a division where we are seeing more and more big hitters including a couple in the Olympics and with some rough luck Kostas could be going home early mind you if he gets some favourable match ups he will go home with the gold.

 

Darius Badolato (28-8) is Aggro damage’s middleweight champion and their best hope and leaving the Olympics with a medal. In a division in the Olympics which has very little grapplers he has a great shot at being able to pull off a few upsets and get him into the medals. His major problem is the hard hitters which have entered as his chin has proven to be made of glass. It will be down to the match ups and if he can land that early takedown which could be the difference between getting a medal for aggro damage and not.

 

Ilya Dragunov (13-3) is another fighter in his prime without many fights repping Sisu. So far in his career he has been passed about from manager to manager but now appears to have settled. He hasn’t really fought anyone of note but will be hungry to prove himself against some of the elite competition here at the Olympics. His well roundedness could see him fair quite well as long as his chin holds up and he doesn’t eat a headkick from Kostas.

 

Stan Van Gundy (26-8-1) fighting for TTFC is one of the more durable middleweights in this division at the Olympics which could serve him very well. His major problem is with submissions but yet again with the lack of pure grapplers he could find himself in with a great shout at bringing home a medal and some serious cash. Managed also by JLP who has always done well in any tournament he has entered pressure will be on him to deliver on the main stage; pressure I am sure Gundy will relish.

 

Joey Silvera (30-19-1) is entering from CEC and looking to turn a few heads with a solid performance in the Olympics. His problem is with the fighters that have entered most of them match up really well against him but he has one thing on his side; power. Now with that being said I hope that Joey can prove to be more than just cannon fodder. In tycoon history upsets at events like these are common and I will be hoping Joey does well.

Light Heavyweight

 

So now I believe it is the light heavyweight division which was often referred to as the premier weight division in tycoon and for good reason. In this talent rich division we are sure to see some fireworks with some of the biggest hitters in tycoon coming to square off.

 

Let’s start off with CEC’s LHW champion Tommi Hartola (42-16-1) who is entering for you guessed it the CEC/CWH coalition. He has been at CEC his full career which spans over 4 years damn that is commitment to the cause right there. A sure fire CEC hall of famer though might find himself a bit out of his depth in the Olympics with the killers that are incoming. I say that I love an underdog but I think this might be a tad little too much for Tommi but props to him for stepping up.

 

Sonny Corleone (34-8) is the rep for TTFC and their LHW champion currently ranked 10^th in the division. Sonny has made a name for himself with his high powered stand up game and instant knock out ability. His weakness though like many great power punches before him is his jaw. His plus side is he has never lost a decision. He will be coming in full of confidence after defeating Katsaros in his most recent outing and will be one of the guys people expect to take home a medal in this division.

 

Sisu young gun Trouble Some (17-5-1) is the heavy underdog in this tycoon Olympics. His lack of skills and apparent lack of chin against fighters of this quality could prove to be fatal for this young contender. He doesn’t have any really great hiddens either which makes me think his manager maybe a slider genius and who knows he might just slider his way into one of the greatest upsets of all time.

 

Fritzie Zivic (20-6) will be reppin AD in the Olympics and will be looking to pull off an upset. His lack of skills could be made up for by his abundance of power and a great chin. He lacks any kicks though which will make it very tricky for him to win fights but he does have a great clinch game. If he can get his opponent in the clinch and do enough damage he may stand a chance but if he is left on the outside chances are he may find himself out of this one early.

 

Devin Styles (23-7) the man who put the 1 in front of Bennet’s name and also the Syn LHW champion looks to be one of the favourites to take home the gold in this division. Despite having a granite chin he has found himself knocked out on 5 occasions but that can be blamed due to him fighting against those big heavyweights. He also does not lack in KO power which is a bonus and likes the song Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus. So will he come in like a wrecking ball or will he be more like a tennis ball.

 

Danza Kuduro (27-10-2) is my own fighter repping GAMMA. To save my fingers some time he is the former middleweight champion in Evo and also LHW champion in GAMMA. He has never lost at LHW in GAMMA either so he was Mentors obvious choice to enter. He is also by the way a chronic underachiever due to me fucking his sliders up.

 

Ascension is sending Tyrone Biggums (45-15-2) into the mix to try his arm at securing a medal at the ripe old age of 42. Now not to disrespect Biggums but he is what I’d call an overachiever who might end up losing a lot of his hype to one of the other underdogs in this tournament. He is well versed in all aspects of the game but his chin is his weak point and at the age of 42 you have to ask yourself does he have it in him to take shots from some of these heavy hitters entered? I don’t think he does and could be the upset of this division.

 

Jensen Saint (39-19) is the final entry reppin Evo and has to be classed as perhaps another upset victim due to his age of 38. In his defence his chin has only been cracked once but it is there to be cracked as long as you don’t fall victim to his crazy heart. The more I write this the more I think Saint really does have a shot at going all the way. Personally I’d love to see him and Biggums face off in the first fight due to both of their ages and also their skills match up really well. Would truly be a Hendo vs Randy type of fight.

Heavyweight

 

So now we are finally on to the second last division and one of the deepest which is just stacked full of talent. This here has the potential for the most upsets and the most entertaining fights with finishes.

 

Dustin Douglas (41-10) the number one p4p fighter in tycoon and Evo HW champion will be looking to prove he is the best heavyweight in the game with a gold medal here in this division of killers. Douglas has looked very impressive of late winning his last 8 fights but was taken into the deep waters against another fighter in the Olympics. Dustin has an awesome chin for a heavyweight and quite possibly the best power of any heavyweight out there. He is the favourite for the gold and but with that comes heavy pressure to succeed. How will Dustin and Soyster be able to handle this pressure is the question that will be answered.

 

Victor Creed (26-5) the former number one p4p fighter and fighter of the year has come out of retirement for one last shot at glory reppin Ascension. Creed who is known as one of the greatest modern era heavyweights is looking to add a gold medal in his long list of achievements in the game. Creed is known for his devastating clinch game and just all round stand up abilities. He added a ground game in later in his career which will be interesting to see if he still has it in his arsenal. Creed has an outside shot at winning this thing but he was retired for a reason but we all know never to count out a Templeton heavyweight no matter what the situation.

 

Kenichi Shirahama (26-11-1) is going to be GAMMA’s hope at getting a medal at heavyweight. When the engine changed so did Shirahama’s luck and the grappler has proven himself to be a tough nut to crack. He is extremely durable and has a wicked submission game and the power to ground and pound you to sleep if you are not careful. His biggest weakness though is his stand up which is not a good thing considering the guys who he is going to be stepping into the cage with. However being a successful grappler at this weight is rare and Kenichi will be looking to prove grapplers can dominate at the top levels of the heavyweight division.

 

Codi Gale (32-12) is next on the list that will be fighting in the name of Syn. The hard hitting heavyweight has had the best spell of his career recently as he is at his peak. He has competed at light heavyweight as well as heavyweight during his career and made the leap back up when he had the opportunity to fight for Syn. His one weakness appears to be his chin is not the greatest at this level but it is rare to find someone with a great chin at this level. His skills are up there with some of the best and he has a hard enough punch to knock out anyone in this division. He has a shot to place in the medals and I expect him to go all out in order to achieve that goal.

 

Jack Neely (28-11) is the grappling expert who is AD’s heavyweight champion. He is known for his vicious ground and pound leaving fighters out cold and also has a sub game. He has competed against some of the fighters in this tournament in the past including Lester and Kenichi but lost to both of them. This will be his shot at redemption if he doesn’t end up bleeding all over the place; yes that is correct he is a bleeder. If the luck rolls his way though he has a shot at being able to perhaps medal in this extremely competitive division and to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if he did.

 

Daniel Speed (34-12) who has just came back and prolly won my vote for submission of the year in his last fight if you haven’t read it go and read it. Anyway he is reppin Sisu and at one point I pointed him out to be one of the best tycoon fighters we have ever seen. Sadly I was mistaken but he is still one tough cookie who only has one real problem; his tendency to bleed. Apart from that he is an awesome fighter who appears to have added in a submission game. He should be looking to use this as a springboard to get his way back into relevance in the Tycoon World.

 

Lester Cockenschtuff (27-11-1) from TTFC, the man who pushed Douglas to his limits and almost came out on top, he will be looking to do one better this time and go all the way. He is a clinch fighter who uses his arsenal of clinch weapons to drain your energy and put you to sleep. He is just as hard hitting as you would expect from the heavyweights but may be a bit dismayed that he couldn’t put Douglas away previously. This will be his shot at revenge in the Olympics where he has the chance to prove himself as the top dawg in this very deep division.

 

CEC are sending in Gunnar Nelson (30-14-2) into battle. Sorry I always wanted to do that sounds like an old British general of some sort. He is a grappling expert with a weak chin sadly but still has high hopes of being able to compete due to the current game engine. He is well rounded but in order to be able to hang in with these guys he better find his grappling god otherwise he is going to be leaving in the first round.

Super Heavyweight

 

And last but not least we have the super heavyweight division. This division is the home of the knockout artists in a land where a granite chin means nothing.

 

Evo is sending in Rinky Spider (21-4) the number one super heavyweight in the game right now. He has defeated guys such as Kable and Proudstar on his way to that honour and done it in destructive fashion. Rinky has dynamite in his hands and isn’t afraid to throw it along with his body and leg kicks he is a force of nature when he steps into the cage. I suspect he will do fairly well in this and could bring home the gold medal.

 

Ascension is sending in Rinky’s biggest threat in James Proudstar (19-3) who is the extremely talented superheavyweight from the Templeton camp. Unlike most guys in this division James has a ground game which he has used to submit and knock out his opponents. He was recently defeated by Rinky in a one sided beatdown and is looking to get him some revenge. I suspect that will be our finals at the super heavyweight division and I am going to say that if it does; it will be epic.

 

Anderson McGinley (20-5) is the dark horse from GAMMA to try and put a spoiler on Rinky vs Proudstar 2. Anderson is the former Heroic HW champion and will be looking to add a gold medal to his collection before going after GAMMA gold also. Anderson is like most super heavyweights I am going to describe; he is heavy hitting and enjoys knocking people out. As I said prior he will be looking to play spoiler and he has the tools to do just that then again so does everyone at super heavyweight.

 

Enter in Syn fighter Leighton Matias (27-14) who is also looking to play spoiler in this game of medals. He has literally been tearing people up with his last 6 victories coming by the way of cuts. He seems to enjoy blood more than knocking out his opponents which could be dangerous when playing with the guys he has in front of him. His clinch game is the reason for all his bleeder victories with an arsenal which includes elbows and knees to throw at people they are no doubt that he will be looking to make these guys bleed either that or just get knocked out.

 

Ghengis Congo (39-19) has been around the block a few times. The AD champion could just have easy been drafted by TTFC. He is the former ONI champion also just to add another achievement to his name but he is getting up there in age now at 37. In a division where power is king though he can still thrive and that is what he will be hoping to do. His skills though appear to have declined also so I suspect he will be just fodder for the rest of the tourney and just here to make up the numbers. Then again people who have been put in just to make up the numbers have won big tournaments before.

 

Emeka Shakur (45-15-1) is reppin Sisu in this event and again he is another well-travelled giant. He has fought in NFC, Sauna, GAMMA, Ascension, Syn and Sisu in which 3 of those he could have repped in the Olympics. Like everyone else he prides himself on being able to break any chin you put in front of him and is one of the more well established big men left in the division. This could be a fitting last hurrah from the big man as he will try to take a medal back to Sisu.

 

TTFC is sending in Ramses Dinkin (22-13) who is the worst ranked fighter in the tournament. I am going to be honest here and say Dinkin as much as he will try chances are he will be knocked out early on in the Olympics and sent back to TTFC. His biggest advantage is he has nothing to lose if he goes out swinging for the fences, and manages to hit one of these guys right on the button he does have that sort of power that will put them to sleep. That is his only shot here at being able to advance in a group this talented.

 

Finally we are on to our last fighter who goes by the name of Nahka Vitonen (32-18) competing in the name of CEC. He has certainly come along has Vitonen in his past 4 fights managing to pull off some fantastic victories winning the last 3 by knock-out but his chin has been shattered before and been shattered a lot. I believe that this could be just too much for Vitonen but again like I have said previously in this division you can never count a fighter out.
