  1. Third fight with Tolo Seia on EVO 183 is going to be his last perfomance in the career. I have never been good at promoting my fighters but somehow AJ's name got some recognition and his profile hits 7.6k+ views. I don't know if it's really big number but it's definitely much more than any other my fighter ever had. AJ was one of my very first fighters. I've created him 20 years old, put in a public gym in tokyo and made to lift weights. I was still getting used to "project" concept. Anyway he got some succes in mid-tier orgs including SPFT branch in St.Petersburg. I knew he was smart, determined and had pretty heavy hands but his chin was always questionable. He was rocked almost in every fight but usually managed to comeback and steal the win. I think turning point in his career was first fight in main SPFT org. Back then I was manager of the SPFT and needed LHW contender badly. Ansgar Axelsson looked to me very promising rising star and I decided to bring AJ for him. I was sure he will be underdog in that fight but it was win-win situation. AJ won. He won SPFT title next. And fought only top-tier fighters from that moment. AJ for me is a perfect example of how you can be affected to the fictional character. It's a very special feeling when you slowly play-by-play fight at 5am and hear how your heart is beating loud.

  3. Fight engine changes July 2015 Purpose of the changes: To create a better balance between ground and standup. To stop people holding and hoping for a ref standup on the ground. To make the fights overall a bit more fluid and dynamic. The most notable change is that after every takedown attempt, there’s now a check to see if the fighter who has been taken down can immediately bounce back to their feet. This was brought in to give value to the “escapes” skill, as part of the overall changes. The kicker, to help improve the ground game activity, is that you only attempt this escape, if you’re going to try escapes once you are on the ground. The higher your “stand and escape” slider, the more chance you’ll go for / end up with one of these immediate, bounce back up escapes. Note: the chance of escaping from the bottom has actually been left as the same, from general grappling. It was fine as it was in my opinion, people were just going for the easier option of hold and hope. So…. Referee standups have been toned down. Also, the number of moves per minute on the ground has been adjusted. It hasn’t necessarily just been increased, however, the way we calculate it is different. Wereas before it was the average of both guys’ ground aggression sliders, now it’s weighted towards the more active of the two guys. So if one guy’s going to hold and hope, it won’t matter anywhere near as much. Moving in and out of the clinch is now a little easier. Landing a takedown is a little easier (to counteract somewhat the pop back up escapes). Landing GNP from guard and half guard is a little easier. Increased the chance of counters landing on the feet, after reports that going high aggressive was winning pretty much every time. Notes for the future. Ref standups can still be improved when there is decent activity but none of it is landing / coming off… We still get standups too quick in those instances. However, the changes should help to mitigate that somewhat, till I do a rework. This hasn’t ever been discussed before but I think it’s potentially a good idea if we add clinch takedowns and clinch takedown defense as separate things to standup based takedowns / takedown defense. Perhaps people will think this is just too many skills to be training / setting coaches up for but I think it would create a lot more variety in fighter builds. Strikers would obviously need both forms of takedown defense but ground guys theoretically would only need one type of takedown offense…. I’ve been watching lots of fight tape recently because of the betmma.tips stuff and it’s re-acquainted me with types of gameplan that fighters come in with. A LOT more fights end up on the ground because of clinch takedowns than double leg takedowns and I think that could be improved in game by splitting the forms of takedown into clinch / non clinch. Let me know if you have any issues. Cheers!

  4. I want to turn vip very soon and have a go at running an org. Before you go oh no! another newb! I have a few ideas and usp's for another fight org. Would people be intrested in an org that had a heavy emphasis on writing. I think I'm taking inspiration from e-fedding I did as a kid and been away from for some time. So as the owner id write a lot up maybe have a owners blog discussion happenings within the org. The fighters would get on it too. I know a lot of managers like writing interviews and career updates. Instead of fight of the night there would be bonuses for the best written interview/seg/skit for each event. The org would rely on managers contributions. Does anyone like the sound of that and think they'd get involved. I think it'll be based in Bazil as there's only three orgs there currently. Going from what I've read as a new org signing new fighters is a safer and more profitable idea. But would actively look for those willing to write and be invovled! I have more ideas but that is basically what makes the org a little different. Tell what you think?

  5. Don't expect Kanis to actually use his brain when throwing out these numbers, for some reason he figured that Belarus in the 90s and Russia during the Chechen incursion were more violent places than Poland ca 2001 because they didn't legalize firearms.

  7. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1434337714Ascension331.png Ascension 331 Live from London 07.012.15 Wombley Arena Welcome once again all Ascension fight fans as we are here to preview Ascension 331 which is right on the heels of the ultra successful event Ascension 330 which earned the company a 1003 event rating and put them right back in their rightful spot as the number one Fight Organization in the Tycoon community. Tonight's show takes us to London and the Wombley arena where 93,607 screaming fans are here to take part in this showdown which features two title fights headlining the main card. Both the Featherweight title and the Bantamweight title will be on the line in what looks to be another top heavy show that should keep Ascension right at the top of the hill. Jameson Connemara takes on Moe Lester in our Main Event of the evening for the 145 lbs title which will piggyback the fireworks expecting between Jupiter Jones and Napoleon Complex as they throw down for the right to claim the Ascension Bantamweight title. These 2 fights will easily be the icing on the cake and close out the evenings matchups as we have an action packed lineup from top to bottom. Here is a quick rundown of what we have in store for you this evening. Main Event - 145 lbs Connemara vs Lester **Featherweight title fight** Our main event sees a 145 pound title fight between Jameson Connemara taking on veteran Moe Lester . Connemara comes into this one after defeating Vanilla Ice Cold by split decision back at Ascension 323 and looks to defend his title for the first time while riding a three fight win streak. Facing off against him is veteran Moe Lester who is currently enjoying a five fight win streak and is battling back following some adversity and has reclaimed his glory with a chance now to win the Ascension title for the first time since he beat this very same opponent back June of 2014. Lester will be appearing in his sixth title fight under the Ascension banner and thus far has an unfortunate record of only 1 win to go with four losses meanwhile Conamara will be appearing in his fourth title fight having won two of those three and facing the same opponent in all three. Tonight's action will be the first time he faced someone other than Vanilla Ice Cold to hold the gold in Ascension. Both men have identical primary skill sets and look to be very evenly matched in all aspects of the action. Both of these men appear to have amazingly solid chins as only Lester has succumbed to a KO loss twice in well over 70 fights while Connemara has never felt the sweet taste of defeat by way of KO in over 30 fights during his career. This one looks like it will be a battle to the final buzzer as both men will look to stand and bang each others drum until the ref steps in to put a halt to the action. Having won 11 of his last 12 fights the thinking here is Connemara will continue that run while also achieving two goals he has thus far been unable to follow through on, defeating Lester and avenging the previous loss on his record and more importantly defending his gold which he has failed to accomplish in his previous two attempts. Co-Main Event - 135 lbs Jones vs Complex **Bantamweight title fight** In Tonight's Co main event we see the Ascension Bantamweight title on the line as Jupiter Jones takes on Napoleon Complex. In this one our champion Jupiter Jones holds a slight edge in Muay Thai however is slightly behind when it comes to the wrestling and BJ J game of his opponent Napoleon Complex. This fight will be Jones fifth consecutive title fight in either Ascension or Evolution seeing him fight Rafa Silva to a draw and then losing in his last two appearances for Evo for their Bantamweight belt then jumping to Ascension winning the gold by beating Dan Price and following that up with a victory over Mr. Azure. Jones is now looking to win his third consecutive title fight in Ascension and retain his bantamweight title. On the opposite side of the cage we see Complex taking part in his second title fight within a top three fight organization having lost also too Rafa Silva in EVO then much like Jones leaving for Ascension where he has won two consecutive fights and is now looking to try and get his hands on the gold. Both of these combatants show very similar backgrounds having won just slightly over 50% of their fights by way of TKO and just over 30% by way of the judges decision, both men seem to have solid chins and we are thinking is this one will come down to who comes into this fight with the best game plan and imposed their will on their opponent. Jupiter Jones has shown more of a tendency to take his fights the distance recently whereas Complex has been more for the flair for dramatics with his stylish finishes. However on this night it is our belief that Jupiter Jones will take it by way of split decision victory. 185 lbs Anastasio vs Takala Our third fight is a five round Middleweight showdown seeing Anthony Anastasio taking on Topic Takala. This fight is a rematch of the battle that took place at Ascension 322 where Takala was able to pull off a decision victory over Anastasio. Anastasia has been on quite the run recently having won 12 of his last 13 fights with the only blemish being the title fight loss to Takala back in late May. Similar to Anastasio, Takala has won five of his last six fights with his only loss being in the title fight at Ascension 325 against Neno Pejovsky. Anastasia enters this fight with a huge reach disadvantage seeing himself being 17 cm shorter than challenger Takala but being equal in almost all primary skills other than BJ J. However we don't feel that will come into play in this fight based on previous experience. Anastasia prefers to use the dynamite he is holding in his hands however the chin of Takala has withheld many similar challenges and in over 50 fights has only seen defeat by way of KO on one occasion. If Anastasia can adjust his previous game plan we have a feeling he has the skills to pull this one out but it will be no easy task. This war goes the full five rounds in what could be deemed Fight of The Night with Anastasia pulling off a split decision upset catapulting him right into the title picture near the top of the division. 185 lbs Gustin vs Unit Our fourth fight of the main card sees another middleweight battle take place between Melvin Gustin and Doom Unit. This will be the fifth fight in Ascension for Melvin Gustin who has enjoyed a two and two record thus far with his losses coming against both fighters previously mentioned in flight number three Anthony Anastasio and Topi Takala. Gustin likes to mix in some leg and body kicks however he relies mostly on his punching ability having seen 12 of his 23 fights end in TKO stoppages. Facing off against him his doom unit who has enjoyed somewhat roller coaster ride within the Ascension banner having seen him lose just as many fights as he has won. Unit has enjoyed a slightly more active career and has shown slightly better chin and we feel that this will be the main ingredient that will ensure his victory on this night. Doom Unit will prove to be just a little too much for Gustin to handle and will take this one by way of unanimous decision. 185 lbs Avitan vs Seppala Tonight's final fight of the main card sees yet another middleweight fight between Yossi Avitan taking on Henka Seppala. This matchup sees Avitan come in with a distinct streaking advantage while Seppala has the better ground game. Both fighters have lost two of their past three and are fighting to remain relevant in the Ascension 185 lbs division. Avitan brings great KO power to the cage along with a solid looking chin however in recent times he has relied more on going the full three rounds and placing his fate on the judges scorecards to earn the victory rather than trying to finish his fights. To drive this point home over his last 12 appearances he's only enjoyed two finishes. Standing in Avitans way is Seppala who has enjoyed a 50% take down rate even though he only tries one and a half per fight and thinking is here if he gets his way to the ground that's where he'll try to keep it in order to maximize his ground skill advantage. But even with all that said that doesn't mean that he's going to try straight out of the gates to go to the ground as he has shown even in his last fight that he's not afraid to stand and bang and wear his opponent down either at range or within the clinch and then take advantage of a late takedown to score more points and earn the decision victory. Avitans recent cautious approach though a strong game plan could pose to be his undoing in this one as Seppala could prove to be just a little too much to handle over the entire 15 minutes and instead we believe he will look to expose the reach advantage he enjoys over Seppala and earn himself a 2nd round T(KO). Well folks thats all the time we have for the main card, but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event 185 lbs Eliod Bunkley Iii v Tim Poutsi Tim Poutsi By Way of TKO Strikes 205 lbs Dragon Warfist v Tyson Jacobs Dragon Warfist By Way of Judge's Decision 135 lbs Alfredo Torres v Andrey Tutov Alfredo Torres By Way of Judge's Decision 145 lbs Sirodom Kingchanklao v Cletus Landry Cletus Landry by way of KO Punch 145 lbs Craig Clendennon v Lester Green Lester Green by way of Judge's Decision

  11. You really want to compare Plano to Detroit? Why not Denton to New York? A small town and large city have very different issues. Especially when poverty and condensed population enters the mix. Compare similar style cities if you want to do that. Chicago with strict laws and New Orleans without. New Orleans is way more deadly, and Chicago has actually been improving over the past 20 years. Being surrounded by other states with pretty much no regulations means guns can still drive in ( making ownership unusually high for a regulated city ), but that is comparable cities you can compare. How about New York vs just about any other similarly sized cities in the world. New York is one of the safest mega-cities on Earth. http://www.vpc.org/press/1501gundeath.htm Highest ownership/murder rate per 100k Alaska 60.6%/19.59 Louisiana 45.6%/19.15 Alabama 57.2%/17.79 Mississippi 54.3%/17.55 Wyoming 62.8%/17.51 Lowest Ownership/murder rate per 100k Hawaii 9.7%/2.71 Massachusetts 12.8%/3.18 New York 18.1%/4.39 Connecticut 16.2%/4.48 Rhode Island 13.3%/5.33 That is a pretty huge difference. It turns out Alaska is actually the murder capitol of the US per capita. Imagine that.

  13. Another suggestion for the future; make experience gain very slow. Right now it seems like all fighters gain enough experience to max out their experience hidden very early in their career. I'd like to see it be changed so that the experience hidden wouldnt max out until a fighter gets over 25-30 fights. Make experience mean something.

  18. Jose Aldo Junior was on Rock Bola radio and dropped the mic after his rant about "Dana's little star" Conor McGregor. I think he's a little upset. I am not going to only beat McGregor up: I am going to make an example out of him. I am going to beat up this son of a bitch so bad that he won't be able to open his mout to say his shits for more than one month. I am going to break the jaw of this cuckolded son of a bitch in three parts. Teh ********* fans of that cuckold and the UFC will regret have put that f-tard to fight me because I am going to blow out his little star. I am going to blow out his little star. I've never felt so pwerful in my life. Before breaking my rib I was knocking out light-heavyweights with body shots. I can't spar yet, but I am still punching and kicking with the same power. I won't even bother dodging McGregor's little punches and ballerina kicks: I will walk straight towards him and take away his manhood. Take his pride. Humiliate him. Swell up those ****-sucking lips of his. Good luck KOing me: Cigano couldn't do it in full-contact boxing. But the most delightful will be to see the look on the faces of his racist Irish fans. Look at their faces after I have turned their national hero into a bottom-boy. Eu vou apagar a estrelinha dele.

  25. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win -Mahatma Gandhi ROV 37 Review Well hello hello ladies and gents. Lazy ass Donny Stremphf here finally getting this review completed. Some of you may have seen that ROV owner Storman Norman is looking for a new writer. I just wanted to put it out there that I gave my two weeks notice last week. I recently started my graduate program at the beginning of July. I am so damn busy with it that I just cannot devote enough of myself to writing these previews and reviews. Unless Norman finds another writer sooner, this will be my last week here, which means you guys get one more preview and review from me after this. I’ll write a little more about it on my last article for you guys, but I just want to say I’ve really enjoyed writing for you guys. Now, let’s get to the good stuff here: a review of ROV 37!! 265+ Title: Jax Briggs def Buliwyf Christianson via TKO (Cut) at 4:22 of Round 3 A decently close fight ended prematurely because of a cut that Buliwyf Christianson suffered at the beginning of the second round. Christianson won the first round in probably everyone’s opinion. After some attempted shots were traded at the beginning of the fight, Christianson took his opponent down. He threw one elbow that missed and then tried to advance position but was reversed by Briggs. After a minute of some work between the two, Christianson reversed back to the top and dominant position. The rest of the round remained with Christianson on top and Briggs defending from the bottom. Christianson threw some nice punches and gave Briggs a cut halfway through the fourth minute. At the very very beginning of the second round Briggs landed an uppercut that would doom Christianson eventually, giving him a nice cut. Briggs then took the fight into the clinch where he was able to get the better of his opponent for a while. Just before the second minute though Christianson took his opponent down only to be reversed about thirty seconds later by Briggs. The ref stood them up eventually after some lackluster action, only for Christianson to take Briggs down just soon after. The rounded ended with Christianson attempting some shots and moving into half guard. The third round began with Briggs moving into the clinch, which was his area of expertise for this fight. He landed some good shots, opening the cut up of his opponent. He eventually landed a takedown halfway between the second and third minute and continued to go after Christianson’s cut. Eventually the ref called the doctor end. He had no choice but to put an end to things as Christianson’s cut was pretty bad. The fight ended with a rating of 31 percent. Standing up, Briggs was eight of 14 for strikes while Christianson was four of nine and three of three for takedown attempts. In the clinch, Briggs was 18 of 29 for strikes while his opponent was three of 13. On the ground, Briggs was 12 of 18 striking. Christianson was seven of 43. Briggs has a fight under offer while Christianson is hanging tight waiting for something to come in. 145 Ibs: Rodrigo Cabral def Rapen Murder via TKO (Strikes) at 1:45 of Round 2 Except for some control from the ground by Rapen Murder at the beginning of the fight, Rodrigo Cabral dominated this matchup. Murder shot in for a takedown after some shots were exchanged. He tried two submission attempts but came up empty handed as the ref stood things up just past the second minute. It was from here that Cabral threw some nice stuff that Murder could not get past. The second round was much the same as the first, except Murder was not able to land any takedowns to bring this fight to where he wanted it. Cabral outshot his opponent. Halfway through the first Cabral landed a nice straight right hand that rocked Murder. It took one more punch to really end things as Cabral lowered his shoulder and cracked Murder on the jaw. The ref eventually had to move in as Cabral finished his opponent off to call this one a TKO victory. The fight had a rating of 47 percent. Cabral was 36 of 54 striking. Murder was two of 11 in the same category. Rodrigo Cabral will face Blake Wightman on 7/25 while Rapen Murder has nothing set up at the moment. 205 Ibs: Abed Nadir def Tommy Victorio via Decision (Split) The closest fight of the main card turned out to be fight of the night as Abed Nadir defeated Tommy Victorio in this light heavyweight matchup. The first round was easily won by Nadir, as he knocked his opponent down with a left and a right at about 1:30. He then got into Victorio’s guard and started striking. Just past the second minute Victorio was able to reverse things and starting landing some ground and pound. Just before the fourth minute, Nadir reversed back into Victorio’s guard only to get re-reversed with Victorio getting back on top. Just past the fourth minute Nadir again reversed and got on top where he remained for the rest of the round. The second round was a bit closer as Nadir scored a takedown just before the first minute as these guys were trading shots. Victorio, in typical fashion for this fight, reversed things just past the first minute. Nadir then completed his own reversal just before the second minute. The ref stood things up just past the third minute and the fight stayed standing for a while with these guys trading good shots. Nadir most likely won himself the round on most scorecards with a takedown just before the end of the round. The third round was dominated by Nadir as won the exchanging of the shots before taking down his opponent just past the first minute. Surprise surprise after trying for a sub attempt, Victorio reversed position around the second minute and tried a few more sub attempts before the ref stood things up halfway through the fourth minute. Just after that Nadir landed a takedown and scored some good points before the end of the round. The fourth round featured much of the same as Victorio took it on the the judge’s scorecards. Although Nadir landed two takedowns, Victorio was able to score more points with control and quality strikes. The fifth was much the same as the fourth except Victorio landed his own takedown. He rocked his opponent after a referee stand up at around 2:20 of the round. He wasn’t able to finish off his opponent unfortunately for him. The fight ended, with the commentator announcing that Abed Nadir took it by split decision. The fight had a rating of 60 percent. Nadir was 36 of 62 striking while standing up. He was also six of 16 for takedowns and one of seven clinching. In the clinch he missed one knee and on the ground he was eight of 31 striking. Victorio was 42 of 73 striking while standing up. He was also one of five takedowns. Victorio was one of one punching in the clinch and five of 38 striking on the ground. Abed Nadir earned himself a title shot with this victory. He’ll take on Vit Tu for the belt on 8/7. Victorio has a fight under offer at the moment. 205 Ibs: Kyriakos Seikkeris def Matt Youngblood via Decision (Unanimous) Seikkeris earns himself a unanimous decision victory in this one. Basically, if Seikkeris was in the clinch, he was dominating the fight. If Youngblood was able to take this fight to the ground, and trust me he tried a lot, then that’s where he scored the majority of his points. The first round featured a little bit of both as Seikkeris got into the clinch from the beginning. The fight stayed there until just before the second minute when Youngblood broke things off and took the fight to the ground. After a couple reversals the round ended with Youngblood on top but Seikkeris scoring the 10 points. The second round was much closer as Youngblood got a takedown literally from the ring of the bell. However, he did not do much to score points and thus the ref stood them up just past the second minute where Seikkeris then got into the clinch and eventually cut his opponent with a nice elbow. Youngblood eventually got the fight to the ground just past the fourth minute but Seikkeris reversed position and ended the round on top. All the judges gave him the second round. They also gave him the third round as he was mostly able to keep it in the clinch and dominate with his array of elbow strikes. Seikkeris took a break from winning the rounds in the fourth as Youngblood was eventually able to take it to the ground a couple times. There was some flopping around and a decent amount of reversals with a standup thrown in there, but all the refs gave it to Youngblood. Seikkeris went back to his winning ways in the fifth round as he kept things mostly in the clinch, although he did suffer two takedowns. The fight ended with all the judges scoring it for him 49:46. The fight received a rating of 43 percent. Seikkeris was three of 10 striking from the standup and nine of 20 for clinch attempts. He was 38 of 80 striking in the clinch, including landing 25 elbows. On the ground he was eight of 21 striking. Youngblood was one of three striking in the standup. He was two of 12 for takedowns. In the clinch he was one of one punching and six of 27 for takedowns. On the ground he was four of 16 for ground strikes. Seikkeris has a fight under offer while Youngblood fought out his contract with that fight. 170 Ibs: Gaspard Wasp def Thiago Macari via TKO (Punches) at 3:39 of Round 1 Gaspard Wasp made short work of Thiago Macari in this welterweight opener to the main event. Things started in favor of Macari as he was able to clinch up, pull guard and then reverse to the top positon. However, he did not do enough to the refs liking as the fighters were stood up. The rest of the fight went in the favor of Wasp. Macari was able to clinch, but Wasp got the better of the striking, giving Macari a nice cut halfway through the second minute. Wasp landed a nice big right that knocked Macari right down to the mat. This left him rocked, however, Wasp decided to clinch back up instead of pouncing on his opponent. No issue though, because after some nice striking, Wasp landed a big uppercut that sent Macari back to the ropes. Wasp this time jumped onto him and the ref stepped in and stopped it. The fight had a rating of 51 percent. Wasp was seven of eight standing up and two of two for clinches. In the clinch, he was 14 of 14 for strikes. Macari didn’t throw any strikes standing or in the clinch. He also didn’t land a strike on the ground. You have to land strikes to win my friend. Gaspard Wasp doesn’t have a fight set up while Thiago Macari left the organization after he fought his contract out with this fight.

  31. I agree with what the others said. I have had a clothing store in the past and it's posssibly the best way to start. It's not very hard and you can make good enough money by also selling skins for fighters + you also get to meet some new managers if they ask a custom design. Orgs are by far the most fun for me , but they are time consuming and I would advice very newer manager that wants in the org business to first join somewhere as staff and learn first, so that you won't fail later. I haven't run a nutrition store and won't. It's superexpensive I've heard and certainly not something a new manager should open if you ask me. Good luck and keep us updated on what you decided to do

  32. EFC: Bad Moon Preview Are your tickets ready for the next EFC event on July 18 2015? If not, then buy one now as we head to the Liberty Dome in New York for EFC: Bad Moon. The event features The champ Hughtavious Mingo defends his EFC light heavyweight belt against challenger Jimmie Craig after successfully earning his title shot title last July 8 in Executioner: Get Chopped. The main card also includes interesting matches such as Cross vs Wad, former lightweight champ Better Dead going up against rising star AK Kuwalski, and many more! A lot of interesting matchups in this one so make sure you don't miss this. Moving on, here is the full fight preview for the card. PRELIMINARY MATCHES Lightweight bout Riley "Hipster" Molovgomedov (0-1-0) vs Ray Malenko (7-1-0) After training for almost a year, Molovgomedov goes back to the ring as he faces a superior ground, Ray Malenko, who is now on a 7-1 feat. prediction: Malenko by 1st round submission Light Heavyweight bout Duane "Brainsmasher" Perry (4-2-0) vs Marcus Gustav (3-2-1) This seems to be a giveaway match for Perry as he faces a discouraged and less skilled fighter in Gustav. Gustav's chances are so slim in this one. prediction: Brainsmasher by 1st round TKO Heavyweight bout Tang Bang (5-3-0) vs Jan "Jay-Jay" Jedrzejczyk (2-1-0) In contrast with the previous match, this one is closely contested as great 20 year old fighters go face to face in this one. There is no evident advantage on both sides and both fighters might go for a finish prediction: Bang by 2nd round TKO Welterweight bout Oleg Bartowski (10-6-0) vs Alberto Contador (7-3-0) After a 1st round loss in Executioner Lace Up, Bartowski immediately accepts a match against Contador, who dominated his opponent in Executioner Heads will Roll. Both fighters almost at the same level with Contador having a slight MT advantage. prediction: Contador by 2nd round TKO Middleweight bout Phil Taylor (3-0-0) vs Dean "The Spider" Kane (4-0-0) Two young undefeated fighters go face to face in this one. Pure standup fighter Taylor will go up against the purple belt Kane. Kane has greater chances in this one as his BJJ skills are far superior. Taylor's MT will go up against Kane's boxing as they each have their own arsenals. It depends on how they play it. prediction: Taylor by 1st round TKO MAIN CARD Bantamweight bout Ville "Toto" Ahokas (6-3-0) vs "The Crown Prince" Arthas Menethil (7-2-0) Ahokas makes his comeback a month after losing to Lancaster. He faces Menethil who also will make a comeback from a lopsided loss against the EFC Bantamweight champion Jaqquard. Menethil has not been knocked out before so Ahokas will need to do his best and knock out Menethil before he takes it to the ground. Will Ahokas watch out for a takedown or will he go for the quick TKO? A win in this one will give him a boost in his ranking Prediction: Ahokas by 2nd round TKO Heavyweight bout Ahti Kaleva (7-3-1) vs Garcia Vega (11-6-0) TWGC Heavyweight champ Kaleva takes his talents to the MMA as he faces ex-island fighter Vega who's not been doing so good in his career, losing 3 out of his 4 matches recently. Kaleva on the other hand will look to take Vega down and try to use his BJJ advantage over Vega. Vega should watch out for that one and use his standup advantage over Kaleva. Prediction: Kaleva by 1st round TKO Welterweight Bout Better "Off" Dead (12-8-0) vs Aleksander "AK" Kawulski (6-0-0) Dead continues his pursuit of his rival Tony Bullard, the current champion in the 170 lbs division. Dead sits atop the contender ladder but his opponent Aleksander Kuwalski is still undefeated with a clean 6-0-0 record. Kuwalski is not a gifted fighter physically but he uses his skills well and manages to get the wins through various techniques. This match is interesting because a knockout artist Dead will face a tactical Kuwalski, two opposing techniques. Great match to see ladies and gentlemen! Prediction: Kuwalski by decision Heavyweight bout Magnus "Bear" Cross (15-10-0) vs Dick Wad (12-5-0) Two brawling barbaric giants face off in a match to set up the main event! Magnus Cross, 15 wins, 15 TKOs against Dick Wad, 12 wins 12 TKOs. Each fighter have proved to be of KO potential but Cross' 6 TKO losses can be a sign that he's not that tough against strong fighters, however his superior boxing can be a great weapon against Dick Wad, who at the same time has had problems in his morale for unknown reasons. At the ground, there is no significant advantage over the other but Wad can pull this off with his MT. With these situations, I think Cross has got this one and I think he will win this with a great margin mainly because Cross' morale problems. A great way to come back from a 2 match losing streak. Prediction: Cross by 1st round TKO MAIN EVENT Hughtavious Mingo (13-3-0) vs Jimmie Craig (15-6-0) http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b14.jpg VS http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w17.jpg We got a very exciting matchup in this one as Light Heavyweight Champion Hughtavious Mingo defends his title for the 3rd time. This time he faces his number 1 contender Jimmi Craig. Both island fighters have gone way beyond expectation as they ventured to the world level after competing in the Island tournament. Mingo sits high atop number 38 among Light Heavyweights and is now on a 9-1 feat. Craig on the other hand has won 3 of his 4 matches. Both fighters in good form entering this one. The last time these 2 fighters met was in WC: Dirty Boxing 2 last May 2015. Mingo won with a quick TKO against Craig without getting hit! Both fighters have trained in their respective gyms and developed skills which may have not been present before. Mingo has a slight advantage in all aspects but it's not enough to count Craig out in this one. Both fighters have got the power and the technique to grab a win in this one so it will boil down to the match itself. Will Mingo show dominance once again or will Craig avenge his loss to Mingo. Who knows? You don't want to miss this one. That's all for today. Thanks!

  33. USFC 53 Preview USFC 53 features young talents trying to make a name for themselves. The main event features the man who is seen to get a title shot soon, Mr. Universe going up against Chulainn. We also got some interesting youngsters trying to garner some wins as well as fighters who are trying to get back up on their feet. Be sure to get a ticket soon! PRELIMINARY MATCHES Lightweight bout Jamal "Anybody, Anywhere" Mohammed (6-22-0) vs Paddy "Pride Of Dublin" McIrish (3-7-0) Mohammed's been losing a lot early in his career. This might as well be an easy victory for McIrish if things go normal Heavyweight bout Arse Face (0-7-0) vs Gregory "Fists of Thunder" Campion (4-5-0) Two fighters in their late 20s trying to put up a good fight. Face has yet to bag a win in MMA but we can't count him out as they are closely matched. Light Heavyweight bout Nissay Ramuo (2-3-1) vs Kaye Wong (1-2-0) We've got two great young fighters in this one with their versatility in MMA. Expect both fighters to try their best as they both need to get out of their losing streaks. Lightweight bout Laverne "Lava" Reynolds (3-4-0) vs Victor Stoic (5-7-0) You can't really tell who will dominate based on their skills but with Stoic's morale, we can say Reynolds got this one. Unless Stoic find's a way to get his confidence back up, we won't have a good match. Middleweight bout "Carnage" Cletus Kasady (1-9-0) vs Bosco "The Snake" O Neill (4-3-1) Kasady seems to be a versatile fighter but he doesn't seem to find a way to get wins off his opponents. O Neill on the other hand has got some power and he's got a great advantage in this fight. Let's see if he capitalizes on that. MAIN CARD Welterweight bout Oliver "The Arrow" Queen (4-1-1) vs Andre Haack (3-0-0) We 've got two welterweights in the middle of the pack and a win in this one might boost their chances of going up. Haack seems to have an advantage over Queen but you can't say Haack got this one. Queen went all the way against a superior fighter when he got a draw against Romulus Veres in INY 44. Haack hasn't gone to 5 rounds yet so let's see how he plays Queen's granite chin. Light Heavyweight bout Jack McGuinness (2-2-0) vs Marius "The Terminator" Budawalski (5-2-0) Both fighters are closely matched as they both have an advantage in their arsenals. McGuiness' two defeats have gone by submission and Budawalski has some submission skills winning thrice with taps. In a standup battle McGuiness has a slight advantage and on the ground it's wrestling vs BJJ. Who knows what will happen. Light Heavyweight bout Brutus Kowalski (2-1-0) vs Xavier David (3-0-0) These two light heavyweights at the age of 22 have gained a lot of skills already. Both have developed skills enough to go on a competitive level. Both fighters are near equal statistically and basing on their previous matches, they both have power. Kowalski got submitted once but who knows if he trained his way out of that one. David, on the other hand proves to be a finisher so we might expect a finish either way. Middleweight bout Sergiu "Hades" Petrescu (4-1-0) vs Alasdair "One Desperate Mother" Thacker (6-3-0) With Hanolla and Good fighting for the vacant Middleweight championship, these two fighters are looking to move their way up to get a shot on that soon. Petrescu's got the advantage in MT but both fighters have KO abilities. Thacker's got a 3 fight win streak and this might boost him up a little. I would expect a TKO in the ground going either way in this one. However, it's too early to conclude anything at this point so let's leave it up to these fighters. Middleweight bout Cu Chulainn (5-3-0) vs Mr Universe (11-1-0) Another fight for a shot at the middleweight title in this one. Chulainn and Universe look to strike their way to the top of the pack. Mr Universe surely got some KO power natural within him as he's now got 11 wins on 11 TKOs given that he's not a fully polished fighter. With that said, we cannot use Chulainn's superiority as a sure call. However, if I were to predict this one, Chulainn's got great chances. With the right strategy, this could go easily go his way. Better watch out for takedowns because Universe sure is deadly in the ground. It would be ideal for Chulainn to stick to boxing but if things go to the ground, it's gonna be wrestler vs wrestler. Things to mark would be Chulainn's 1 TKO loss (good for Universe's KO power) and Universe's 1 Submission loss (good for Chulainn's purple belt) What are you waiting for? You don't wanna miss this one.

  34. "160 people a day getting stabbed"? Are you sure about that? I bet that's a figure for "knife crimes", which includes arrest for possesion of a knife in public, verbal threats, etc, etc. A fatal stabbing is NATIONAL front-page news here. It's not something we accept as unavoidable or "normal" as you, apparently, view gun deaths. USA has roughly five times the population of the UK, and thirty times more murders per year. That's six times more murders. Don't try to make out it's just as bad here.

  35. So that's a no then. You can't even address a simple question. Seriously, I'm more than happy to get into a war of words with anyone who thinks it's a good idea for people to have guns in their homes. I'm not going to call anyone a criminal and I'm not going to treat anyone like a criminal but I think having guns in homes is idiotic and I'm more than happy to debate why with people.... that is, if the other person is willing to have a debate. The fact you have respect for guns has nothing to do with anything because whether you should have guns has nothing to with whether people in general should have guns. I could look after a gun perfectly fine. But it they went on sale in a shop near me, some dickhead that shouldn't have a gun will go buy one. That's the point. If you don't wanna debate it that's cool but I don't see why you get to feel like a victim when people call you out for thinking guns are a good idea. As long as toddlers are getting their heads blown off by random stranger weirdos, I'm certainly not going to think they're a good idea. Maybe when / if you have kids, you'll look at those pictures of small, helpless, murdered children a lot differently.

  36. Plenty of examples have already been posted of Gun related crime, but nearly all of your statistics ignore Gun-Related Crimes specifically. Here's a great statistic for you. Crime Rates in England and Wales during a statistics publication last year shows they fell 15% to it's lowest level in 33 years. Hell, let me go into specifics for ya - 25% fall in Household theft - 15% fall in Vandalism - 10% fall in Car Crime - 7% fall in anti social behaviour - 25% total fall in crime since 07-08, and even more since 1995, with a 60% total reduction since then - There was an increase of 6% in the amount of Shoplifting crimes, but that is relative to the increase in economic hardship across the world. Now that I have listed some of the statistics unrelated to weapons, let's look at the statistics related to them. - 551 murders in England and Wales in 2013, more than a 50% reduction than the 1,047 that occurred from 01-02 (which were the highest rates in the last 33 years) - 12% fall in Robberies - 6% fall in Gun Related Crimes - 4% fall in Knife Related Crimes - 22% fall in Violent Crime Now, I would like to quote something you said about our crimes: I have shown that our crimes are going down, and that is because we actually take action when shit happens. Gun Crimes, Knife Crimes and even all Violent Crimes have been going down, meanwhile mass shootings still occur in the US because sweet FA is being done about them.

A lot of the fighters that BPS sponsors are in NY so to make it easier for fighters and managers to get their clothing, I have decided to move to NY to spare them the 3 days wait. I will be posting this message over the next week for those of you who are not in NY, but are regular customers of the store so that you won't think that BPS has disappeared.

  45. BBC Glasgow is interrupting your usual pish with a breaking news story. Linda Galloway here with breaking news from Glasgow, it has emerged today that a body was found floating in the canal. The police say they have identified the body as Bjorn O’Donnell, a 16 year old pre-pubescent teenager from Belgium. The police say that death came from a big dipper firework being inserted up his rectum and fired which caused his insides to explode; however police say his facial expression shows one of satisfaction. Police found 52 year old American MMA Manager JLP floating around in the canal also. JLP suffered major burns to his face; this however has been said to have improved his looks. JLP is on his way back to America today after it was found out he had entered the country illegally. Scottish Police had this to say on the matter “Due to a recent trade embargo between the UK and America it is now illegal to import over 200kg of meat into the country; JLP was found in breach of these terms and has been deported immediately”. Police are currently looking for those responsible for killing the man known now as known to the locals as “Sparkler Arse”. Hamish – Am gunna take a stab at this n guess that is how the rest of them fucked aff. Dean – You should prolly dae the same. Hamish – Ye mad? I am glad that little cock-gobbling prick is deed. Dean – Surprised JLP made it. Hamish – A torpedo widnae sink aht bawbag. Am fairly certain if ye stuck a nuke up ees arse and set it aff the fud wid hink he just let wan rip. Dean – Let them do what they have to do, I am sure we can catch up with the rest of the goon squad later oan. RIP Bjorn O’Donnell 1999-2015 He will no longer be used in the Tycoon storyline and has been written out the show. Now to find a way to write myself out of this.

  48. Just a bit of a heads up for anyone who is waiting on the Team Write Ups. Basically, my parents are heading off to the US for a 3 week holiday, and they own 3 dogs so they have asked me to mind them while they are away. I head down to their house on Wednesday and they head away on the Friday. I should be able to get the whole thing written over that weekend, bearing in mind that I most likely will take breaks between different teams. I will be sending a few questions to the different team captains for some back story and will use that when compiling the story. Also, I should have the Preview for Round 1 done by Friday 17th, but it could also be a couple of days after as I have 3 different Previews I need to do for that weekend. In terms of the fights, I am still waiting on a few guys to be released from their contract to take part and can then finish booking the fights.
