  2. I think private gyms arent really that big problem. You really cannot fund coaches if you dont have a lot fighters. Bigger problem is that if you run your company on island with negative financials, it just every thursday takes money from your manager account. Wich allowed some people to hire best possible coaches and keep low gym prices at previous seasons.

  5. Maybe stop lying all the time and people would treat you with a bit more respect. This never happened. Stop talking shit. "I know TJ said "oh well it`s self explanatory" the other day and dodged the question we asked him" In fact I did the opposite of what you're saying and I kindly explained it to someone last week, in public. It's not my fault you can't find it.

  11. Depends on how much VIP are you willing to invest into projects.. Generally, people are keeping above 5.5 learning speed. I was keeping 6+ but now started to keep only Granite chin/Heavy handed if they are below 6.5 learning speed. Recently sacked a project with 6.75 learning speed who popped solid chin, cause I don't like that hidden for heavier fighters But with learning speed below 5.5, a fighter will most likely struggle to reach his total skill cap.

  12. It could also be a snakes and ladders effect where if your sponsored fighters lose, they lose their hype, and therefore company hype decreases too, this is just a guess though, I don't know this for definite, but would make some sense.

Rutherford by Unanimous Decision) Evil Empire managed to take away two points for his alliance after outpointing The GBU’s Randy Rutherford in a Unanimous Decision victory. The win moved Empire up from third into second position in the 135lbs class and also into contention for the group overall. Though five points behind league leader Shu Feng Tzeng, Empire has a fight in hand in which to close that gap. He will next take on The Stepdads Markus Haland who hasn’t exactly set the tournament alight with buzz but will still likely be a tricky opponent and not to be overlooked. Randy Rutherford maintains his fifth place position though those underneath him both have a fight in hand over him meaning he could very much find himself scrapping to avoid a bottom place finish if those fighters both get decent results in their next fights. He actually faces one of those very fighters in Cromulent Doom’s Chrollo Lucifer next. Lucifer has a victory over group front runner Shu Feng Tzeng so he is definitely not to be overlooked but Rutherford might just have the wrestling credentials to nullify Lucifer’s BJJ Brown Belt ground game. (The Stepdads) Markus Haland vs. Shu Feng Tzeng (YABAI) (Tzeng def. Haland by Sub (Triangle Choke) at 04:57, Rd 2) YABAI team captain Shu Feng Tzeng captured his third victory of the tournament this time at the expense of The Stepdad’s Markus Haland. Haland, with a tournament record of 1-2, is currently seen to be the least performing member of his alliance though certainly not the worst record amongst others competing. Tzeng’s second round submission victory gives his alliance some much needed points and keeps him at a comfortable distance at the top from his closest rivals in the group. He will next face Heritage captain Sergej Tkach who up until this round has been performing brilliantly. Still, it should be an interesting match up and definitely a result to keep your eyes on. For Markus Haland, he drops down from fourth into sixth and technically joint last on points. Still, he has four fights left to go so there is still time to turn things around from here. How much ground he could make up for? I’m not sure but certainly a victory is needed at least to start and that will need to come against The Evil Empire’s Evil Empire who currently resides in second place with a 2-1 record. (Heritage) Sergej Tkach vs. Urho Viitake (FinnFIghters) (Viikate def. Tkach by Sub (Brabo Choke) at 02:58, Rd 1) Heritage team captain Sergej Tkach suffered his first loss of the tournament after getting caught by submission against FinnFighters Urho Viitake. You have to wonder just how much of that loss is to blame on the fact that Tkach’s manager was absent from the fight and that game planning might not have even been discussed beforehand. Whatever the reason, it was a tough result to swallow and the Heritage man now drops down from second into third and four points behind group leader Shu Feng Tzeng. He will have a chance to potentially cut that lead down to a single point however as he faces Tzeng next in round five. Tzeng will pose many of the same problems as Viitake however so Tkach will need make sure he is properly prepared this time around if he wants the victory. A nice win for Urho Viitake to both keep his alliance on the heels of The Stepdads and drag himself out from the bottom of the table up into fourth place. With a record of 2-2, Viikate has three fights left and being some six points behind leader Shu Feng Tzeng you would have to say a top place finish is unlikely though not impossible. Viitake will now take some rest during his bye week. 155lbs 1 (1) (TSD) Chubby Funster (3-0, Fin Win 3 = Points 9) 2 (2) (YAB) Maximus Furioto (3-1, Fin Win 3, Fin Loss 1 = Points 8) 3 (3) (FF) Digi Box (3-1, Fin Win 2, Dec Win 1, Fin Loss 1 = Points 7) 4 (5) (CD) Walter Sobchak (1-2, Fin Win 1, Dec Loss 1, Fin Loss 1 = Points 2) 5 (4) (GBU) Stig Statham (1-2, Fin Win 1, Fin Loss 2 = Points 1) 6 (6) (EE) Garth Wader (1-3, Dec Win 1, Fin Loss 3 = Points -1) 7 (7) (Her) so Bitch (0-3, Fin Loss 3 = Points -3) (YABAI) Maximus Furioto vs. Stig Statham (The GBU) (Furioto def. Statham by Sub (Triangle) at 04:57, Rd 1) A solid performance for YABAI’s Maximus Furioto against The GBU’s Stig Statham keeps him in second place and hot on the heels of group leader Chubby Funster. With a record of 3-1, Furioto has been one of YABAI’s most reliable fighters so far in this tournament and his first round submission victory once again gives his alliance maximum points. Statham could have proved to be a very awkward opponent but Furioto handled him with relative ease. He next faces Cromulent Doom’s Walter Sobchak who is one of a handful of fighters languishing in mid table of the 155lbs class. Furioto should be the strong favourite going in but must make sure not to give way to complacency. Stig Statham loses a little ground here dropping down from fourth place into fifth with only a single point to his name currently. At 1-2, Statham still has four fights to go so the opportunity to improve is still there but it is going to take some doing to climb up into the top three from here. He will next face The Stepdads Chubby Funster who is amongst a handful of fighters still undefeated so far in this tournament. Statham will be a huge underdog in this fight and in truth, isn’t being given any chance of a good result at all. A very tough match up for him indeed. (The Stepdads) Chubby Funster vs. Garth Wader (Evil Empire) (Funster def. Wader by Sub (Triangle) at 02:32, Rd 1) Chubby Funster maintains his undefeated run in the tournament with a decisive submission victory over Evil Empire team captain Garth Wader. Wader has been frustrating to watch so far as he seems to have a versatile skill set that should make him competitive against any style of opponent but so far he really struggled against the submission fighters of which Funster is among the most impressive. With the victory, Funster takes a firm stance at the top of the 155 table. Though only one point ahead of his closest rival, he has managed to gain this lead whilst still having one fight less. He faces The GBU’s Stig Statham next and whilst it looks to be something of a mirror match up, Funster will still be the heavy favourite. For Wader, he has been disappointing for his alliance so far and will no doubt want to finish out his tournament with a bang. He is scheduled to face Heritage’s so Bitch in the next round but unfortunately Bitch seems set to become to first withdrawal from the tournament meaning that Wader will be awarded an automatic three points. With his alliance still in the running for a fourth place spot I’m sure no one from Evil Empire will mind taking a win this way. (Heritage) so Bitch vs. Digi Box (FinnFighters) (Box def. Bitch by Sub (Armbar) at 00:29, Rd 1) After his loss to group leader Chubby Funster, FinnFighters team captain Digi Box was back to winning ways after a submission victory over struggling Heritage fighter so Bitch. In perhaps one of the most glaring overestimation's at the start of this tournament, so Bitch was actually predicted to have finished second in the group but has so far proven to be far from the competitor that this writer believed. Currently 0-3, it looks as though he is now destined to finish out the tournament without a single win after he yet to sign to face his next round competitor. Having not been heard from by training partners for over a month, we can only surmise that Bitch has walked away. For Digi Box, the win makes sure he is able to keep his third place spot but more importantly it keeps him in range of group leader Chubby Funster. Box is two points behind as well as a fight behind so he will need to keep winning from here and hope that Funster falters at this point. He is in direct competition with Maximus Furioto for second place however with only a single point between them. He will receive a bye week in Round 5 and so will have a much better understanding of what is required of him when he returns for Round 6. Bitch was due to face Evil Empire’s Garth Wader but as previously mentioned hasn’t picked up the phone. This is great news for Evil Empire as they very much need those points! 170lbs 1 (3) (TSD) Yaurod Atidibil (4-0, Fin Win 2, Dec Win 2 = Points 10) 2 (1) (YAB) Diego Diaz (3-1, Fin Win 3, Dec Loss 1 = Points 9) 3 (2) (EE) Willy Do (2-1, Fin Win 1, Dec Win 1, Fin Loss 1 = Points 4) 4 (4) (FF) Jesse Ristinen (1-2, Fin Win 1, Dec Loss 1, Fin Loss 1 = Points 2) 5 (6) (Her) Kybeau Ren (1-3, Fin Win 1, Dec Loss 2, Fin Loss 1 = Points 2) 6 (5) (CD) Floki Agard (1-2, Dec Win 1, Fin Loss 2 = Points 0) 7 (7) (GBU) Quannah Parker (0-3, Fin Loss 3 = Points -3) (Heritage) Kybeau Ren vs. Jesse Ristinen (FinnFighters) (Ren def. Ristinen by TKO (Strikes) at 01:33, Rd 2) A massive upset in the Welterweight class as Heritage’s Kybeau Ren defeated FinnFighters Jesse Ristinen by second round TKO. Ren looked great on the feet and punished Ristinen dearly for his failure to get the fight to the ground. The win moved Ren up a spot into fifth with only two points between him and third place now. Ren is a fight ahead of those other fighters though so would be reliant on them tripping up at some point if he was to eye a third place finish. Regardless, a terrific victory for Ren in this round and perhaps something to capitalise on as he goes into his final two bouts of the qualifying section with the first being against The GBU’s faltering captain Quanah Parker. For Ristinen, the loss would have surely been felt by his alliance who chase the Stepdads for the top spot as a fight that was very much seen as a “gimme” for the stronger team. Pretty much out of the running for the first or second spot, he could still make a push for his predicted third place finish with a strong end to this qualifying phase. He faces Cromulent Doom’s Floki Agard next in a match up that could prove tricky. (Cromulent Doom) Floki Agard vs. Yaurod Atidibil (The Stepdads) (Yaurod def. Agard by TKO (Strikes) at 01:20, Rd 1) No surprises as The Stepdads Yaurod Aitdibil dominated Cromulent Doom’s Floki Agard inside of two minutes with Agard seeming powerless against the clinch game of Atidibil. Another confident performance from the 170lb Group leader who maintains a one point lead over closest rival Diego Diaz. Atidibil next faces Evil Empire’s Willy Do who had been in great form up until this round. Regardless, Atidibil will come in as the heavy favourite and with such an advantage in the wrestling could easily overwhelm Do in the clinch as he has done he tonight. A tough loss for Agard but likely not surprising for his or his alliance. He drops down from fifth into sixth though still three points clear of last place Quanah Parker. A chance for Agard to pick up some essential points for his alliance in the next round perhaps as he faces FinnFighers Jesse Ristenen who hasn’t quite lived up to expectations so far. Both ground fighters predominantly, Ristenen looks to have an advantage in key areas but Agard has a win over YABAI’s Diego Diaz. Should definitely be a fight to keep an eye on (Evil Empire) Willy Do vs. Diego Diaz (YABAI) (Diaz def. Do by Sub (Kimura) at 00:45, Rd 1) A tough result for Evil Empire’s Willy Do who loses for the first time in this tournament. It was YABAI’s Diego Diaz that handed it to him as he punished the strikers weaker grappling skills. The win was much needed for Diaz as it meant that he keeps the pressure on group leader Yaurod Atidibil. Only one point separates him from first place and with that show down still to come. Next up however he will get to rest up as he takes a 5th Round bye. For Do it is hoped that this loss wasn’t a foreshadowing of results to come as his alliance face crunch time in the race to qualify via the fourth place spot. Do drops down from second now into third and is now firmly in the middle of the pack in terms of points. His next opponent will be group leader Yaurod Atidibil and not many would be giving him much of a chance in this one. If he can somehow keep it at range and stay away from Atidibil’s powerful clinch game then he has a chance but so far no one has been able solve that puzzle. 205lbs 1 (3) (TSD) Hamza Demirovic (3-0, Fin Win 2, Dec Win 1 = Points 8) *Time -04:41 2 (2) (FF) Kake Randelin (3-0, Fin Win 2, Dec Win 1 = Points 8) *Time -06:35 3 (4) (GBU) Zane Alexander (3-1, Fin Win 3, Dec Loss 1 = Points 8) 4 (1) (Her) Furious Panda (3-1, Fin Win 2, Dec Win 1, Fin Loss 1 = Points 7) 5 (7) (YAB) Gerhard Smakatron (0-3, Dec Loss 1, Fin Loss 2 = Points -2) 6 (6) (CD) Yadeep Singh (0-4, Dec Loss 2, Fin Loss 2 = Points -2) 7 (5) (EE) Finn Vernon (0-3, Fin Loss 3 = Points -3) (Cromulent Doom) Yadeep Singh vs. Kake Randelin (FinnFighters) (Randelin def. Singh by Unanimous Decision) There were no major changes in the fortunes of these two fighters as Cromulent Doom team captain Yadeep Singh slumped to his fourth loss in a row whilst FinnFighters Kake Randelin continued his pursuit of the top spot after racking up his third victory of the tournament and continuing his undefeated streak. For Yadeep Singh so far, it’s been a campaign of disappointment. Any tournament with a group phase will always have what is dubbed the “group of death” and there is no question that the light-heavyweight class is that group. It’s unfortunate that Singh has found himself within that company and goes a long way to explain his current form, however, it is never acceptable to a fighter to go an entire tournament without picking up at least some points and for that Singh is running out of time. He next faces YABAI’s team captain Gerhard Smakatron who is also still searching for his first win. Smakatron is currently one spot ahead of Singh with a fight in hand. It’ll likely be another tough fight but at least he will have the opportunity to scrap it out instead of being taken down. For Kake Randelin, every point counts at this time as he chases the number one spot. Maintaining his second place position, Randelin is actually tied for points with top placed Hamza Demirovic and separated only by virtue of time spent in the cage. With Zane Alexander and Furious Panda snapping at his heels too, the pressure is definitely on and we will get to who can handle to heat over the next few rounds. Next up Randelin faces struggling Evil Empire fighter Finn Vernon who currently sits in bottom place. Randelin will go in as the favourite as Vernon has been in terrible form of late. (Evil Empire) Finn Vernon vs. Zane Alexander (The GBU) (Alexander def. Vernon by TKO (Strikes) at 03:51, Rd 1) Since his opening round loss to Kake Randelin, The GBU’s Zane Alexander has managed to turn things around and is pretty much the man who is keeping his alliances tournament hopes alive with his maximum point victories. His win over struggling Evil Empire fighter Finn Vernon here gains him another jump in the table and now he currently sits in third place and tied on points with the number one and two fighters of the group. Alexander is a fight ahead of those above however so he will need them to slip up at some point if he is to overtake but it certainly ins’t a bad position to be in at this point of the tournament. In the next round he will have an opportunity to take out one of those ahead of him in the form of The Stepdads Hamza Demirovic. Demirovic has looked phenomenal so far at 3-0 and after seeing what he did to Furious Panda who is similar to Alexander, it is hard to see how The GBU man can overcome. Definitely a fight to watch in this weight class For Finn Vernon he now drops down into last place and still searches for his first win of the tournament. He next faces FinnFighters second place Kake Randelin in what is likely to be another tough time in the cage. Results are ever more important from this point however and if Evil Empire are going to snatch a last minute playoff spot then points are going to need to come from fights like these. (The Stepdads) Hamza Demirovic vs. Furious Panda (Heritage) (Demirovic def. Panda by TKO (Strikes) at 01:43, Rd 1) A sad day for Heritage as their fighter Furious Panda’s surprising run at the top of the light-heavyweight class came to an abrubt halt at the hands of The Stepdads Hamza Demirovic. Demirovic showed no mercy as he battered Panda inside the clinch and thwarted all attempts at getting the fight on the ground where Panda is most dangerous. With the victory Demirovic was able to take the top spot and with four fights still left to go, that is a great position to be in indeed. Still, the top of the 205lbs division is absolutely stacked at the moment with four fighters all within easy reach of each other. The pressure is definitely on Demirovic to keep his undefeated streak going as a single mistake would likely result in losing the top spot. He very next fight would bring about such a result should he not be able to perform as he has done as he faces The GBU’s Zane Alexander who has been surging up the table since his opening round loss to Kake Randelin. Still, Demirovic is likely to be seen as the favourite going into this but all eyes should definitely be on this match up in the next round. A massive drop from first place into fourth for Heritage’s Furious Panda but still within touching distance of a shock division win. Panda will now get to rest up and reflect on the loss as he makes use of a fifth round bye week and when he comes back he’ll have a much better idea of his chances in the group 265lbs 1 (1) (TSD) Bubba Wallace (4-0, Fin Win 4 = Points 12) 2 (2) (FF) Markku Innanen (3-0, Fin Win 3 = Points 9) 3 (5) (EE) Dick Glover (2-2, Fin Win 2, Fin Loss 2 = Points 4) 4 (3) (CD) Anton Gardner (1-2, Fin Win 1, Fin Loss 2 = Points 1) *Time -00:09 5 (6) (Her) Gwart Bartem (1-2, Fin Win 1, Fin Loss 2 = Points 1) *Time -00:26 6 (4) (GBU) Daffy Duck (1-2, Fin Win 1, Fin Loss 2 = Points 1) *Time -03:55 7 (7) (YAB) Francisco Baroza (0-4, Fin Loss 4 = Points -4) (The Stepdads) Bubba Wallace vs. Daffy Duck (The GBU) (Wallace def. Duck by TKO (Strikes) at 01:55, Rd 1) The Stepdads Bubba Wallace took a step closing to the division championship with his fourth win of the tournament this time over The GBU’s Daffy Duck. It was also Wallace’s fourth first round KO in a row and so far no one has come close to upsetting this run. Wallace is now three points ahead at the top but also a fight ahead. His closest rival is FinnFighters Markku Innenen and that fight takes place in this upcoming round. Needless to say this is a collasal showdown for both fighters. A win for Wallace would put him a hair’s breadth away from being crowned as group champion whilst a loss would leave him chasing Innenen and needing him to make a mistake. The second loss in a row for Daffy Duck now after a good start to proceedings puts him at 1-2 and also drops him from fourth down into sixth. Currently joint on a single point with the fifth and fourth place fighters, Duck sill has plenty of time left to finish in a decent position but any aspirations of topping the group and now largely over. He next faces Heritages Gwart Bartem who is coming off of a superb victory over YABAI’s Francisco Baroza. Possibly a tough fight for the GBU fighter as Bartem looks to be evolving at a slightly accelerated pace compared to many of the other fighters but definitely not unwinnable. (Heritage) Gwart Bartem vs. Francisco Baroza (YABAI) (Bartem def. Baroza by Sub (Kimura) at 00:26, Rd 1) Due to Francisco Baroza’s tournament form so far the result of this bout can’t truly be called an upset but honestly, the result shocked the hell out of me as I doubt many gave Heritage’s Gwart Bartem any chance of victory over the might of YABAI. The victory would surely be appreciated by his fellow alliance mates as Heritage work hard to secure the fourth and final play off spot. In terms of personal glory, Bartem moves up from sixth into forth and is currently joined by two others on the exact points, wins and losses. The only thing separating them being time and this result for Bartem would have contributed heavily. He next faces Daffy Duck of whom is one of those fighters he is currently tied with. A good result could potentially move him as high as third so long as results elsewhere go his way and in all honestly, Bartem just might be the slight favourite going into this one. YABAI’s Francisco Baroza maintains his last place position and in truth has been a drain on YABAI’s tournament campaign though he certainly isn’t the only one failing to live up to expectations. Two fights left for Baroza to get some points on the board with his next fight coming up against Cromulent Doom’s fourth place Anton Gardner. On paper Baroza looks like he should have the skills to take this but going by current form this is going to be another tough fight for him (Cromulent Doom) Anton Gardner vs. Dick Glover (Evil Empire) (Glover def. Gardner by TKO (Strikes) at 01:09, Rd 3) A splendid result for the peoples champion Dick Glover as he helped his Evil Empire alliance conquer the despicable Cromulent Doom and their fighter Anton Gardner. There is only so much a man can take after being cheated out of wins time and time again and Glover has clearly had enough after managing to turn around some bad results at the start of the tournament. Glover now moves up into third place from fifth though in truth has little chance of catching up with those that wronged him earlier in the tournament. He will have time to prepare for his next bout as he enjoys some rest and relaxation during his bye week. For Anton Gardner, he was powerless to resist the righteous fury of Evil Empire as they come ever closer to absolute glory and a clean 5-0 sweep over the bastards of Cromulent Doom. A chance to redeem himself however as he faces 0-4 Francisco Baroza in the next round. A good result could even see him overtake Glover once again.

  21. It was a historical year and especially weekend of GAMMA manager and Hall of Famer, Grumpy Bastard (102643). Grumpy broke several records already this year. #1 He became a Tycoon Hall of Fame manager this year after he hit the #1 spot. #2 He became the only manager in our history to have 2 fighters hit the #1 spot in one year (and it is just April), when both 2020-01-30 Foot Fungus (302783) #1, 2020-02-15 Snot Slurper (302792), hit the #1 spots. But this weekend he broke 3 more records! #3 He became the first manager in our history to win 2 belts in one weekend, when William Spud and Crotch Grabber won the titles. #4 He became the only manager to hold 4 belts at one tile. The other 2 title holders being Foot Fungus and Joy Rones. #5 The last event headlined by Crotch Grabber is the highest ranking GAMMA event in history with a rating of 986.15. 22. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15087543905067.jpg David Brent One of my biggest challenges so far coming up in a few hours. Win or loss, I'll make sure to give it my all. Would be fun to add another KO to my record, but going to be a tricky one. Either way, who can complain when they gave it their all, so that's what I'm aiming for, 100% dedication.

  23. HFC 14 - Tanner vs Tragedy 3 Pre-fight Analysis w/ Predictions Hello Montreal!!! It is time… The long awaited trilogy match has been set. The fighters are in the building. HFC FANS ARE YOU READYYYYYYY!!!???!?!? The HFC 185 Middleweight Title is on the line tonight!! The story between these two go back to December 14th, 2019 at SMASH: Tanner vs Tragedy 1. Formerly known as the SMASH FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP, the HFC would see a fight, that would end up sparking an on-going rivalry in what pits two fighters between each other for a 3rd time. A 3rd time is needed to settle the score when they’ve only tasted defeat at the hands of each other. In the first fight, Trage “Edy” Tragedy enjoyed the feeling of his hand being raised. He took care of business in the 2nd round via armbar. Riding the momentum of a 6 fight winning streak, he took out Emry Lane in the first round via knockout. This would earn him a title shot where he’d finish the fight in under an amazing 25 seconds with a wicked superman punch, what a way to become champion! Rob Tanner didn’t look back either since he first lost, as he put together 2 straight knockout victories, earning a title shot at Tragedy in what would see them match up for a 2nd time. In an unbelievable fight, Tanner would have a dominant 2nd round, with two knockdowns and would form a SEVERE cut on Tragedy. Tragedy handled the first round pretty easily, and did the same in the 3rd. Could very well be 28-28 on the judges scorecard going into round 4, could also very well be 29-28 Tragedy. In a round much different than the others, they fought at slightly slower pace. The cutman did all he could in the corner between rounds, but the blood was oozing from the cut formed in the 2nd round at a rate that judge Arvi Len said, “made me feel so nauseous I almost threw up on the scorecards”. This forced the fight to be stopped in the 4th round via TKO (cut). That brings us here now, where Rob Tanner has had two successful title defenses, and Tragedy comes in riding a 2 fight winning streak both by knockout. Highlighted by an unbelievable rest of the card, let’s get right into the action! City: Montreal Arena: Hard Knocks - Montreal (3,000) Rules: MMA Judging Criteria: 10 Point Must Full Fight Card: *Main Event*: (185) Rob Tanner vs Trage Tragedy Co-Main Event: (170) Herlock Von Ryan v Gunner Larsson (205) Habib Putins v Rakeem Marley (185) Simeoni Jukola v Daniel Pawlick (170) Ryo Hamada v Rovi Flexner (170) Sergei Volkov v Syd Sydney (185) Tommy Bean v Rashid Rubson (170) Colby Vovigton v Nathan Dylan (155) Leon Hooker v Marco Silva (145) Jon Rambo v Cranky Smith HFC 14 Undercard: ** = Feature Prelim Bout (145) Jon Rambo (7-6) vs Cranky Smith (5-0) Are the fight fans of the HFC READY FOR SOME FIGHTS? Our undercard kicks off in the featherweight division between Jon Rambo (7-6) and Cranky Smith (5-0). Cranky Smith is coming into this fight with an undefeated record w 4 of those victories coming on the hands of his submission prowess. Jon Rambo also has a nice bottom game, but he needs to utilize his standup to win this one. Prediction: Cranky Smith, 1RD Submission, improves to 6-0 (155) Leon Hooker (6-6) vs Marco “Conmigo” Silva(7-2) Our next undercard fight is a lightweight contest between Leon Hooker (6-6) and Marco “Conmigo” Silva (7-2). Leon Hooker has lost 4 of his 6 fights via decision, so he’s definitely no easy contest. He has fantastic boxing and can catch you easily, as has shown evident by his knockouts. Silva on the other hand, has enjoyed the tune of 5 knockout victories, and will be looking to add another one to that list. Prediction: Marco “Conmigo” Silva, RD2 KO, improves to 8-2. (170) Colby “Chaos” Vovigton (2-4) vs Nathan “Wolfie” Dylan (4-5) The welterweight division finds itself home for this matchup, as Colby “Chaos” Vovigton (2-4) squares off against Nathan “Wolfie” Dylan (4-5). Both enjoy solid wrestling, however Vovigton holds the clear advantage in that regard. Nathan Dylan has shown some solid takedown defense that can help him unload some of that superb boxing we see from him. Will it lean towards the wrestler or striker in this matchup? Prediction: Nathan Dylan, 2RD KO, improves to 5-5. (185) Tommy Bean (5-0) vs Rashid Rubson (3-3) Next up we have a middleweight fight between Tommy Bean (5-0) and Rashid Rubson (3-3). Tommy Bean has been an absolute thunder and lightning, shut and close type of fighter in the early part of his career. He’s scored 5 straight knockouts, with the longest of them going for 1:49 into the first round. Will the step up in competition be too much for him? Look across the cage to Rashid Rubson, who comes in 3-3, albeit on a two fight losing streak. Rubson will be looking to get himself back into the win column in a big way tonight. Prediction: Tommy Bean, RD1 KO, improves to 6-0. ** (170) Sergei Volkov (4-0) vs Syd “Canguru” Sydney (4-3) Our feature prelim bout has a fantastic one in store from you. The welterweight division is host to a matchup between Sergei Volkov (4-0) and Syd “Canguru” Sydney (4-3). Sergei Volkov has demonstrated fantastic wrestling to earn him 4 brutal KO finishes from the top. Sydney is no fool to the ground either. He has the wrestling to combat the takedown attempts, and maybe enough to survive the onslaught. If he keeps it standing, he may end Sergei’s undefeated streak. Prediction: Sergei Volkov, RD2 KO, improves to 5-0. Main Card: (170) Ryo Hamada (3-1) vs Rovi Flexner (5-2) WELCOME TO THE KICKOFF OF THE HFC 14: TANNER VS TRAGEDY 3 MAIN CARD. It begins in the welterweight division, as Ryo Hamada (3-1) goes up against Rovi Flexner (5-2). Hamada comes into this fight with 2 submission victories and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Flexner however, has great wrestling to combat the takedown threat and way better stand up. I see it going to the fighter who can dictate where the fight will take place tonight. Prediction: Rovi Flexner, 1RD KO, improves to 6-2 (185) Simeoni Jukola (4-0) vs Daniel “Dominator” Pawlick (4-5) The second fight on this main card pins two middleweights against each other. Simeoni Jukola (4-0) has been on an absolute tear, winning 4 straight fights, 3 via knockout and one submission victory due to strikes. He’s been just outright scary to fight on the feet. Daniel “Dominator” Pawlick is going to have his work cut out for him, as the odds are truly stacked against him in this fight. Prediction: SImeoni Jukola, 1RD KO, improves to 5-0. (205) Habib “CHiken” Putins (6-4) vs Rakeem “Jamaican Beast” Marley (4-1) Our next fight finds us in the light heavyweight division. Habib “CHiken” Putins (6-4) matches up against Rakeem “Jamaican Beast” Marley (4-1). Marley is the definite favorite to win this fight, as the two met before at “The Island” in the first round of their 205 tournament back in February. Marley won via 1st round knockout in less than 10 seconds. Prediction: Rakeem “Jamaican Beast” Marley, 1RD KO, improves to 5-1 Co-Main Event: (170) Herlock “The Hurt” Von Ryan (9-4) vs Gunner “Gunni” Larsson (10-4) Welcome everyone… to the CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!! We have a welterweight bout coming up, as Herlock “The Hurt” Von Ryan (9-4) battles against Gunner “Gunni” Larsson (10-4). Von Ryan comes into this fight on a two fight winning streak, earning Fight of the Night honors against John Bessant at HFC 4. Larsson has seen better days over the last two fights, seeing him be finished both times by submission. He has shown susceptibility to get caught, albeit having a nice submission attack himself. Herlock Von Ryan definitely has the better stand up but will be outclassed if the fight hits the floor. He does have a shot at cinching up a submission with his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but Larsson has phenomenal control. Prediction: Gunner Larson, RD2 TKO, improves to 11-4. Main Event: (185) Rob Tanner (8-1) v Trage “Edy” Tragedy (10-1) *HFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP* LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! WELCOME TO THE HFC 14 MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!! The explosives out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada have yet to be detonated, as fireworks are sure to blow the roof off this building here tonight. Hard Knocks - Montreal is host to witness a phenomenal matchup for the HFC 185 Middleweight Championship! As usual, we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the two fighters headlining the main event of the evening. Striking: You don’t want to blink for this matchup, as both fighters hold a combined record of 18-2. Of those 18 victories, 17 of them have been knockouts. 17 knockouts combined between the two! It’s hard to say who has the clear advantage here. Rob Tanner’s (8-1) boxing is extremely underrated, as he has a vicious uppercut who’s taken many victims. His Thai boxing and kicks are fantastic, but we usually see him utilize his hands. Trage Tragedy (10-1) comes in with fantastic boxing and vicious head kicks. He’s taken 9 casualties via KO, with one submission. It’ll be a fantastic matchup to see, however if Tragedy can utilize his kicks and slow down the footwork and rhythm of Tanner, it can be a long night. ADVANTAGE: Very, very slight advantage to Tragedy, simply due to more utilization of kicks. Grappling: When it comes to the grappling, you definitely see a larger discrepancy between the two combat athletes. Trage Tragedy comes in with a great wrestling foundation, and holds a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu. He used his wrestling to great effect against Tanner in both of their fights, and have shown who holds the advantage. It’ll be the same going into this fight. ADVANTAGE: Tragedy Experience: Both fighters have nearly identical records. While Trage Tragedy holds two more wins, he’s only had 6 total different opponents. He’s also had 5 fights in the QFC. Rob Tanner has fought 7 different opponents in 2 less fights, and has also held and defended the title for longer. ADVANTAGE: Tanner Prediction: Rob Tanner, 2RD KO, improves to 9-1. Retains HFC Middleweight Championship.

  25. I am proud to announce the induction of current GAMMA manager Runt . (108617), to our Hall of Fame! Runt is ranked #31 in the all time manager list (he is actually higher, simply we have not done a stats update since October), with over 80 professional fights to his GAMMA career. He is just one of 12 active GAMMA managers in the HOF. To his name he has 16 title fights and 3 super fights, Which is a top 22 all time. His most recognizable star and future HOF inductee is Bunt Jermit who was the 145lbs champ until recently. You could argue that Bunt is the best 145/155lbs fighter of all time, it is up for debate, depending on when he retires himself. Currently Runt stands with 279 ranking points. By the next update i expect him to shoot up the rankings and join the top 20 all time. Once again i congratulate Runt for his feat and thank him for his contribution to the organization.

  32. What has the situation been generally with "private" gyms on the island? I can set e.g. a minimum of 50 fighters per gym and no private gyms or something like that... I don't want it to be people paying for private gyms with their extra company slots.

  34. I think 40 minimum would be a good start. In the past some managers have been setting up semi-private gyms keeping the max at 20 or whatever its set at right now. With the additional company slot we are alraedy seeing a lot more companies so might be too soon to jump to 50 or whatever but we can assess in a few weeks. Quick question to anyone: Why do people retire and un-retire their untested fighters, isn`t that a lot of VIP wasted? I know TJ said "oh well it`s self explanatory" the other day and dodged the question we asked him but seriously why do some managers spend so much on this tradition?
