  5. I value Camara as the Armond White of MMAT, anyone he thinks is shit is probably fine and if we agree on a matter shit is probably really fucked up. There's some value to being the opposite of useful basically all the time.

  6. This shouldn't be "shocking": http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15049171747508.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23b2.jpg The self-proclaimed "KO King" kept going for takedowns and submissions like a little bitch, but trying to exploit any perceived "weakness" of Golovkin was futile. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Timothy Bukovac scores the fight 29:28 Judge Frank Antenori scores the fight 29:28 The legally blind Judge Percy O'Donnell scores the fight 28:29 In favor of your winner, by split decision... Vadim Golovkin! Vadim Golovkin looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'My Slider Fu is strong. Just lay there a little longer and enjoy this golden shower.' In the ongoing battle of Blake Phoenix vs the KO'd King, Blake pulls ahead 4-3.

  8. INFERNO COMBAT SERIES 39 PREVIEW LA MEMORIAL COLOSSUSEUM Xavier: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to Inferno Combat Series and specifically, welcome to ICS 39! In the booth with me tonight is the mercurial Furious Styles! Styles: Mercurial! I like the sound of that, Xavier! Thank you for that. Xavier: You’re welcome, Styles. Styles: That’s an excellent descriptor of who I am because I can focus on something for a certain amount of time and feel one way about it, then suddenly, boom! I change my mind because of whatever and I roll with that. That’s just how I am, and I don’t apologize for that. Xavier: Nor should you! That’s who and how you are and that’s the way it is. Styles: Damn right, X! I dig the support and I’m glad you are who you are because you help balance out my mood, especially when I’m infuriated by some idiocy in the world! Xavier: Thank you, as well. I certainly do what I can to extol you when possible. I’m certain many members of our rambunctious audience feel the anxious energy in the air as California begins to reopen towards establishing a quasi-normal progression of life. It will take some time, certainly, for daily life to fully return to normal because we still are dealing with COVID-19 as well as impassioned protesters of all types. Styles: There’s no doubt there are pleas and lamentations of change in the air, Xavier, and I certainly hope the masses will at least pay attention! Xavier: As do I, my friend. Now, let’s take our minds off of that and let’s get down to combat business! LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION: OUTLAW HARDY (“2464 AND DEPOPPING BADLY”; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) VERSUS JACK WILDER (22-17-1; CURRENT STREAK: 3 LOSSES) Xavier: The 37-year-old warrior from Flagstone, which I assume is in Arizona, steps into this battle with Golden Gloves boxing, solid Muay Thai, outstanding grappling and a brown belt. Before I continue, Styles, I have to admit that when I spoke Hardy’s training team, they didn’t look too confident about Hardy in this fight. When I asked them why they’re concerned, they hesitantly told me they’re concerned with his morale for this fight. They said Hardy has been training pretty steadily and well but his attitude hasn’t been as vigorous as they’d hoped. That’s potentially dangerous because stepping into the cage with questionable morale could cause any fighter to question themselves and any trepidation or lack of confidence can cause them to miss opportunities to finish off an opponent in trouble. He’s managed to put together a 7-fight win streak despite having had numerous management team changes and he’s managed to only have a 2-fight losing streak as his worst. Despite the various changes and having had to deal with levels of diversity, he’s still a champion, Styles, and that’s an indelible accomplishment! He earned his first championship by defeating Boris Ysengrin by knockout in the first round at Primal 49 Plisskin versus Nelson. He became a multi-time champion when he defeated Karl Denke by TKO at Aspire 72: Denke versus Hardy in the third round. That experience is a major advantage under duress as Hardy has figured out a way to overcome the pressure and stress at being the best in a particular weight division. In this particular fight, I think Hardy’s best chance is to drag Wilder to the ground to control the action there and move ahead on the scorecards in case this fight goes the distance. From what we’ve seen, these two are basically evenly skilled in the standup so the ground is the difference maker, and I think Hardy has enough desire to control the fight to score the unanimous decision! Styles: This is incredulous, X, because I, too, have major concerns for Wilder after speaking with his training team! Very much like Hardy, apparently, Wilder also doesn’t look like he’s mentally ready for this fight! That’s unbelievable to me because this is a fighter’s livelihood on the line, never mind the physical potential of having serious damage done to them in that cage! Seeing as both men aren’t where they should be in terms of their confidence, this is most definitely a crapshoot. Whoever shows up first will win this fight because neither of these men has the confidence to overcome a slow start. The 35-year-old fighter from Sin City steps into battle with Golden Gloves and solid Muay Thai as well, but his grappling is respectable and he has a brown belt, so as you touched upon, X, I think Wilder’s best chance is to keep this fight in the standup where he can put in his best work! He’s shorter than Hardy but outweighs him by enough for it to be a factor. If Wilder can manage to sink his weight into his strikes while the fight remains in the standup, he absolutely has a chance of putting Hardy to beddy bye with a few clean shots at his jaw. Similar to his opponent, Wilder has experienced the diversity of having various managers and fight philosophies, but he, too, earned the right to be called a champion. His breakthrough occurred when he defeated Ouje Bougoumou by TKO at AFC #4 First Champion in the fourth round! His best win streak has been 5-fights in a row while his worst slide has been 3-fights in a row. The bad news for him is the three-fight slide is what his current losing streak is so he’s going to have to dig deep to keep this fight standing and drop Hardy where he stands. Wilder halts his losing streak here tonight with a knockout victory! PREDICTIONS: Styles – Wilder by KO; Xavier – Hardy by Unanimous Decision WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION: ABNER APPLEGATE (27-13-1; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) VERSUS BUDDY BARNETT (17-9-1; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) Styles: The 36-year-old Englishman from Birmingham puts the LEGION OF DOOM on the board for the first time tonight and you know I’m lovin’ the fact this is an inter-alliance battle, Xavier! This highly skilled warrior brings world class boxing and Muay Thai into this fight as well as outstanding grappling and a brown belt to round out his skill set. For this fight against Barnett, I absolutely expect Applegate to avoid going to the ground like it was an ex-girlfriend trying to say a baby she had with another dude is yours and you do anything to avoid being pinned with paying alimony! Applegate has managed to put together various win streaks, especially earlier in his career, and the best he’s done in terms of that is 6-fights in a row while dropping 2-fights in a row on four separate occasions! He is a multi-time champion, however, achieving his first taste of gold when he defeated Kim Jong Guk at CEFC 312 by TKO in the fourth round with a mere five seconds left in the fight! He tasted championship success a second time by defeating Dean Corll by TKO in the fourth round at CEFC 331 and a third time by besting Gideon Navarro by unanimous decision at Pride FC 46! Having the ability lean on that experience, especially as an older fighter is invaluable and could very well be the difference maker in this fight tonight. Looking at the overall picture of his career, especially early in his career, he established himself as a powerful striker who could turn out the lights suddenly and brutally! He’s definitely tasted harsh stoppages on the flip side of that so he’s learned to ease back on the aggression if and when his opponent is able to withstand his striking power and aggression, thus why he has a number of fights that have been decided by the judges’ scorecards. I think he’ll be able to muster up the striking power to put this fight to rest early by knocking Barnett out! Xavier: Barnett is nine years younger than Applegate and I immediately think that is a factor due to the level of energy that Barnett can push into this fight to force the issue of pacing and cause the elder Applegate to either push himself to equal Barnett’s intensity or be overwhelmed by it! Obviously, Barnett is at a disadvantage in terms of his in-cage combat but to make matters worse, Styles, despite him being a member of the LEGION OF DOOM and having this fight against an alliance mate, Barnett doesn’t have the same level of vigor that a fighter nine years older than him does! That’s unfortunate for Barnett because one would assume having an opportunity to unseat an old established dog, so to speak, would be an opportunity that Barnett would be excited over, but that seems to not be the case. His management team is rather concerned by that lackadaisical attitude because Applegate is far too experienced to not take advantage of that situation, so Barnett is going to have to figure out a way to fire himself up and increase his confidence or he’s going to place himself in potentially dangerous waters! His best winning streak has been 5-fights in a row and that was how he kick started his career! During that winning streak, he won his only championship by making Moe Lester, a terrible name, by the way, to a guillotine early in the second round at KONFLIKT FC IX! Though his championship experience isn’t as extensive as Applegate’s, it still counts for something and he may be able to surprise Applegate when he gets this fight on the mat. Barnett is fully aware that he’s going to have to try and land some vicious strikes while in the standup by counterattacking because trying to shoot in and score a takedown against a veteran of Applegate’s caliber is a very tall task! However, making Applegate tap won’t be too tall a task and that’s what he’ll do! PREDICTIONS: Xavier – Barnett by Submission; Styles – Applegate by KO FEATHERWEIGHT DIVISION: FINNISH EXPERIMENT II (20-11; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) VERSUS “THE SAMOAN SCRAPPER” MALAKI FISO (16-9; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) Xavier: The FinnFighters are on the board as their experiment that hails from a secret lab in Finland steps into combat with an impressive skill set! World class boxing, excellent Muay Thai, Olympic-class grappling and a brown belt are the weapons in his arsenal, and the slight height advantage along with decent weight advantage will allow him to exploit those impressive skills, especially in the standup of this fight! One interesting and impressive aspect of Experiment’s career is the fact that his only title occurred in the only title fight of his career up to this point! Additionally, this title was earned in his second fight in the KT circuit when he defeated Bjorn Valor by TKO in the fourth round at YL 43: Valor versus Experiment. Beyond that, he’s been involved in six Fight of the Night battles and five KO of the Night battles! There’s a legitimate reason for his hype and popularity, ladies and gentlemen. His aggressive approach has endeared him to numerous MMA fans, and he’s executed some beautiful knockouts at various points in his career. Prior to losing to Futoshi Matsunaga at ICS 26, Experiment had won his previous three of four fights by knockout or TKO! He was feeling the groove and his confidence was soaring. When he lost to Matsunaga, there were concerns about how he’d recover from that loss and return to form. He answered those concerns by defeating Yodsawan Sitsongrit in a very tightly contested battle that ended in a split decision win. The question tonight is can he return to his dominating ways he recently experienced during that three-fight win streak where he stopped opponents cold in their tracks! Sinking that extra ten pounds he has over Fiso will help if he can anticipate Fiso’s head movement and pierce through his striking defense. If Experiment gets that done, then he’ll end this fight by knocking out Fiso! Styles: Fiso, the 28-year-old Samoan from Manono Island (Apai Village) brings a very solidly balanced skill set that has obviously been successful for him! From what we’ve seen, X, this is going to be a tough fight for Fiso! He’s four years younger and isn’t at too much of a disadvantage in terms of combat experience, but he’s going to have to be patient and pick his spots wisely in terms of counterattacking and avoiding suffering unnecessary damage while he sticks and moves until he’s able to position Experiment the way he wants that enables him to shoot in and score the takedown he needs to change the course of this fight and keep it where he has his best opportunity at victory tonight! Trying to stun and knockdown Experiment is the name of the game because that absolutely gives him his best chance of getting inside of Experiment’s guard and controlling him on the ground so he can use that black belt to the best of his ability. Fiso has Golden Gloves boxing ability, excellent Muay Thai, very good grappling and, of course, the black belt I previously mentioned, so despite his impressive set of skills, he has to utilize intelligent striking, excellent timing and very solid striking defense to avoid taking massive damage from Experiment while trying to tag Experiment with power strikes and he may opt to focus on wearing Experiment down with body strikes. Fiso became a champion in only his third fight and that’s quite an accomplishment! Winning a unanimous decision over Mike Hunt, and I won’t take it there because this is a family show, was an excellent way to cap off his undefeated streak to begin his career. Later in his career, he captured gold yet again forcing Ivan Volkov to tapout to an armbar. Lastly, his third championship taste occurred when he defeated Lincoln Storm by split decision at Eternity 3: Storm versus Fiso. I think Fiso manages to make this a horizontal fight and keeps it on the ground where he can make Experiment frustrated and err with his movements and defense, opening the door for Fiso to make him tap! PREDICTIONS: Styles – Fiso by Submission; Xavier – Experiment by KO LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION: SASHA “ALEX K IS GAY” BELIY (21-14; CURRENT STREAK: 2 WINS) VERSUS VALERIO “WARHEAD” BARTOLI (18-5; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) Styles: The purple-haired flap top sporting 31-year-old member of LEGION OF DOOM, who are quite busy tonight already, hails from San Bernardino, which isn’t too far from here, and his unique nickname makes this fight a bit more interesting because it adds a flavor of potential vengeance, if you will. Bartoli is a proud member of The Stepdads and Beliy’s nickname is a direct shot at a member of The Stepdads, so don’t be surprised, X, if the level of aggression from both of these fighters is at full tilt! Personally, I hope that both of these guys come out with fists and feet flying and damn the attempts to make this a submission battle! See who’s jaw can take the damage and then talk crap after you lay out the opponent! That seems simple enough to me, X, but we’ll see what transpires. What’s amusingly ironic is Alex K. was the original manager of Beliy and it was with him that Beliy enjoyed championship success. In only his second match of his career, he became a champion by defeating Jax Thomas by knockout in the first round at WFC 11: Crusher versus Marston. He defended that title an additional three times afterwards then traveled to a new organization where he won one of three fights, prompting a change of management. Fast forward to today and he’s currently on a 2-fight winning streak after suffering a 4-fight losing streak, the worst of his career. The 5-fight winning streak that began his career has still been his best so far in his career but, obviously, Beliy is looking to push his winning streak to 3-fights in a row against Bartoli tonight! Since Bartoli has the height and weight advantage, I expect Beliy to counterattack his strikes with power and ferocity to try and score the knockout so he can talk crap after all is said and done! Beliy wins this battle by knockout! Xavier: The 29-year-old Italian from Firenze representing The Stepdads, obviously, looks to knock Beliy down a notch and halt his 2-fight win streak tonight. Bartoli definitely has extra motivation in this fight to either knock Beliy out or force the referee to step in and halt the carnage for obvious reasons. As previously mentioned on a different preview we broadcasted, Bartoli established himself as a knockout artist who relentlessly laid out one opponent after another! His career began with quite the explosion of destruction with a 12-fight win streak, a very impressive streak from anyone’s perspective. Unsurprisingly, he became a champion relatively quickly, and it was exactly his fifth fight where he defeated Stable Genius by unanimous decision at RISE 27 Barnaby versus Bartoli to have that first distinction added to his name. His second taste of gold came when he knocked out Henry Aron in the second round at RFL-59 Aron versus Bartoli. His final taste of gold occurred when he defeated William Snowdon by unanimous decision at RFLFN-26 Snowdon versus Bartoli 2. Bartoli hasn’t been able to make many opponents go to sleep early in his recent battles. In fact, the last time he ended a fight early was a TKO victory over Jason Stackhouse at Demolition 1 – Falcone versus Mffer in the third round. Needless to say, Bartoli is looking to not only avoid losing two fights in a row but he’s also looking to reestablish himself as a threat to knock out his opponents! 2-losses in a row has been his worst slide so he knows how to turn things around when need be and tonight, it needs to be. Using his height and weight advantage to its utmost is paramount because he doesn’t want to test Beliy’s Olympic-class grappling and brown belt abilities if he absolutely doesn’t need to. Bartoli takes this fight by knockout! PREDICTIONS: Xavier – Bartoli by KO; Styles – Beliy by KO HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION: SUPER “DOMINATOR” HEAVYWEIGHT (39-12; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) VERSUS SAMSON FORTIER (12-8; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) Xavier: Ten years the elder of his opponent tonight, Heavyweight has a major combat experience advantage in this fight, and when it comes to the big boys who bring dense striking power and devastation, any advantage is a major benefit! Very good boxing, decent Muay Thai, outstanding grappling and a purple belt are what he brings into this battle tonight, and the man from Drago Lab, wherever that is, is a multi-time champion who has been involved in some absolutely monstrous wars! He kicked off his career with a 10-fight win streak, a very impressive feat in this division filled with semi-trucks and wrecking balls. He became a champion in his third battle when he defeated Elton Stein by TKO in the first round at IFC Wednesday Night Fights #3. His second championship was earned when he defeated Lain Tower by TKO late in the third round at IFC 50 Tower versus Heavyweight. His third taste of championship gold happened when he defeated Ri Zaadha by knockout at IFC 71: Murha versus S. Heavyweight with one second left in the first round. As expected in the big man division, Heavyweight has suffered some painful damage including excessive bleeding. The good news for him is he obviously has overwhelmed more opponents than they’ve overwhelmed him, and since this is the division where literally it only takes one clean shot to end the night, anything is possible! Win or lose, Heavyweight brings the pain and the lumber, and the crowd loves his aggression and, naturally, the number of bodies he’s laid out in his path of destruction. His worst losing streak has been 4-fights in a row, but he turned that around by winning five fights in a row. Since he’s the shorter, heavier man, I prognosticate that he’ll opt to counterattack Fortier, especially with punches, because I’m not sure he has the speed or skill to be effective in the kicking game. I don’t see this fight going to the ground so a standup war it shall be and Heavyweight knows how to handle business in that area quite well. As long as he stays clear of Fortier’s devastating kicks, Heavyweight brings this fight home by knockout! Styles: Convicted Inc. make their first appearance in the form of the 28-year-old brawler from Lome, Togo. With the obvious disadvantage in terms of combat experience, Fortier has an opportunity to best a very respected heavyweight fighter in this industry! Being ten years younger will absolutely be of help to Fortier in terms of the steady pressure he can apply on Heavyweight to try and gas him out while landing various leg kicks that can and will slow him down enough to setup the knockout strike he wants to land on a proven knockout artist. Fortier does have a couple of options at his disposal in this fight that could prove to make things very uncomfortable for Heavyweight. Fortier could opt to turn this into a clinch war where he can tie Heavyweight into a clinch and work him over with a multitude of knees and elbows, along with body strikes, to really sap Heavyweight of his energy while looking to slice open some of those old wounds he’s suffered over the extra ten years he’s been fighting! World class boxing, very good Muay Thai, outstanding grappling and a brown belt are at Fortier’s disposal, and the ground fighting skills could also be an option he takes to make Heavyweight support his weight on the ground while working to win the position battle and, ultimately, set Heavyweight up for various submissions. Fortier has pieced together a 3-fight win streak twice in his career and has lost 2-fights in a row twice, so momentum is the name of the game with him. If he can establish himself early and often with strikes, especially kicks or lock Heavyweight into a clinch early and unleashes a lot of heavy damage in brief spurts of time, Fortier will position himself to score a big win here tonight! PREDICTIONS: Styles – Fortier by KO; Xavier – Heavyweight by KO WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION: JAMES NOIR (14-5; CURRENT STREAK: 3 WINS) VERSUS CHARLES “SUPERFLY” HAWTRY (21-14-1; CURRENT STREAK: 4 WINS) Styles: Now this fight should make a little separation between two solid fighters who have a combined seven wins in a row between them! The 30-year-old New Yorker represents the LEGION OF DOOM, who are quite busy tonight, and Noir is feelin’ himself with his current win streak. His confidence is solid, his energy very good and his technique over the past three fights has been right on the money! Despite having quite the disadvantage in terms of combat experience, I think his ability in the cage makes that advantage much more slight than it appears on paper! Looking at his entire career so far in this industry, he’s had a pretty even balance of unanimous decision battles as well as finishes. Noir has been able to mix up the results well by scoring sporadic TKO wins as well as outright submissions. Looking at his last three fights, two of them ended in a TKO victory so you know he’s looking to stretch that momentum here tonight plus extend that streak to four fights in a row! The good news for Noir is he scored those TKO’s both from the standup as well as from taking his opponent down and finishing him off with ground and pound! Noir is all about establishing and carrying momentum as evidenced by his 5-fight win streak being his best but he also an instance of having had won four fights in a row and he may equal that before the night is finished. He’s only lost 2-fights in a row once, so he’s managed to avoid the taboo of losing three fights in a row. He’s slightly taller than Hawtry but I think he’ll approach this fight with a counterattack approach in the standup and look to flat out score a knockout there, or, in the very least, land some damaging strikes that enable him to daze Hawtry enough to score the takedown he wants in order to use his world class grappling ability to outmaneuver Hawtry on the ground and try and ground and pound him out before he can regain his senses! It’s a calculated risk but Noir is solid with boxing and respectable with Muay Thai, so his bread and butter will be his grappling and his brown belt. I think Noir scores the TKO by grounding and pounding Hawtry into submission! Xavier: The UnderGround Fights Enterprise arrives on the scene in the form of the Polish hammer from Warsaw! The 32-year-old “Superfly” steps into this battle with Golden Gloves boxing skills, solid Muay Thai, Olympic-level grappling and a black belt. What that means immediately is Hawtry has a distinct combat experience edge plus he’s very comfortable with fights that go to the horizontal plane, so he could very well take the chance of letting his guard down enough for Noir to take him down to the mat then Hawtry surprise him with his equally tremendous grappling ability and even lock in a submission that Noir doesn’t expect because as sound as he is on the ground, his BJJ isn’t quite as skilled as Hawtry’s has shown to be! Hawtry has options in this fight and that can definitely lead to this fight being very uncomfortable for Noir! Hawtry can absolutely opt to keep this fight vertical and rely on his striking defense and superior striking skills to land the timely and effective strikes that either frustrate Noir to the point where he takes many more risks in search of knocking Hawtry out, or Hawtry can set Noir up for a takedown and submission attempt by landing thunderous and accurate strikes that penetrate Noir’s defenses and cause enough damage to where Hawtry can safely protect himself while unloading substantial damage on Noir! Hawtry has had a few management teams and some believe that course of events caused him to not quite be prepared for the biggest moments of his career to date, and the two chances he had to become a champion fell to the wayside. His best body of work has been 5-fights in a row while his worst showing has been a 3-fight losing streak, which has occurred twice in his career. The timing of his current four-fight win streak is excellent because momentum and confidence are right there to be had. Hawtry wins this fight by TKO in the standup by overwhelming Noir with a flurry of strikes! PREDICTIONS: Xavier – Hawtry by TKO; Styles – Noir by TKO MIDDLEWEIGHT DIVISION: ISPA MURHAA (25-7; CURRENT STREAK: 2 WINS) VERSUS “COOL HAND” LUC GAGNON (25-10; CURRENT STREAK: 2 WINS) Xavier: Styles, you’re in for yet another inter-alliance battle treat as The Stepdads have two warriors in this fight who are looking to not only stretch their current win streak to three wins in a row, but they’re also looking for the chance to win bragging rights in The Stepdads rankings! The combat experience between these two is nearly identical so, in my opinion, there’s only a slight disadvantage there for Murhaa, but he’s two years younger than Murhaa and hasn’t absorbed quite as much damage, so, again, I don’t see much of a disadvantage at all for Murhaa in this battle. Also, with the skill level that Murhaa has, whatever scenarios he faces in the cage, he’s very comfortable, capable, effective and focused! World class boxing, excellent Muay Thai, World-class grappling and a black belt are the technical accolades he brings into this fight. Murhaa also brings an outstanding body of evidence in terms of momentum. It’s not often at all a fighter begins his career with a 17-fight winning streak! That’s absolutely incredible and that accomplishment sent strong waves throughout this industry that he was not to be fooled with! He had that very impressive win streak snapped by Luc Gagnon via unanimous decision at EMP Gagnon versus Murhaa but that was long after he defeated Roman Divac by unanimous decision at IFC 46 Divac versus Murhaa. Ever since losing that title to Gagnon, Murhaa hasn’t positioned himself for another title shot, at least not as of yet. With the form he’s exhibited over his last two fights, he could very well end up putting himself in position for another one before too long. There have been two separate occasions where he’s lost 2-fights in a row, so he knows how to swing momentum back on his side before a losing skid extends too far. I think he plays the patient game with Gagnon tonight and hits him with continual strikes using accuracy until he can either set him up for the knockout blow or for the takedown and submission battle. Since he’s thirteen pounds heavier, I think he scores the knockout and wins his bragging rights within The Stepdads as well as for his hometown of Sjk in Finland! Styles: The calm and collected 32-year-old warrior from Gatineau, Quebec Canada is a very well-rounded fighter who has proven time and again he knows how to get the job done! What I love about these inter-alliance battles, X, is that the opponent has more insight than the average opponent because they at least know their opponent on a personal level since they run in the same alliance circle, and any little nuance that can be exploited will definitely be a difference maker in this fight! Gagnon has endured quite a bit of diversity with different management teams and training philosophies, but he’s been able to accomplish quite a bit, and that’s a testament to his focus and discipline. In his sixth fight, he became a champion when he made the referee stop his onslaught on Jason Montgomery at PFF 12W – Montgomery versus Gagnon in the second round! He defended that title two more times before losing it to Jesse Pinkman by unanimous decision at PFF 21w Gagnon versus Pinkman. Three fights later, he added his name to another title in a new organization by defeating Gennady Mikhasevich by unanimous decision at TFC 56: Mikhasevich versus Gagnon. He would go on to win an additional four titles. Needless to say, the man knows how to get the job done and that multiple time championship experience is invaluable! He’s done it all except win by making an opponent bleed out but that’s of little consequence. There’s no doubt he’s had his share of being leveled by various opponent’s so there’s no question his ability take a power strike has diminished over time, but that basically happens to everyone and I wouldn’t put too much into that. I think Gagnon relies on powerful counterattacks to test Murhaa’s chin and, eventually, lands the one big shot he needs to ice the victory tonight! PREDICTIONS: Styles – Gagnon by KO; Xavier – Murhaa by KO HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION: CONOR “HITMAN” DALEY (19-10; CURRENT STREAK: 2 WINS) VERSUS ALBERT VAN ROOY (19-13; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) Styles: The colorfully tattooed warrior from Belfast, Ireland, steps into the cage tonight and brings a very impressive skillset with him. A world class boxer, excellent Muay Thai practitioner, outstanding grappler and brown belt holder has proven over his career that he can turn the tide of battle in the blink of an eye! The 38-year-old has had a multitude of management teams throughout his career and some believe that diversity caused him some issues with being able to focus enough to take advantage of his most recent opportunity to become a champion. He fought bravely against Link Gaetz at Pride FC 49, but he was bested by TKO early in the first round and he went on to lose two more fights after that. However, he kept pushing and managed to turn things around for himself and over his past two fights, he looks like he found the form he had earlier in his career that helped him establish a 5-fight win streak, his longest of his career and a number he’s been able to achieve twice in his career. His longest skid has been 3-fights in a row but that’s only happened once, so he’s been able to avoid a major losing streak to this point. His fists have been flying and finding their mark as of late and he’s looked aggressive and confident in those fights, so he’s going to have to carry that into this battle and force that on Rooy early and often! If he can establish himself early on, then he has an excellent opportunity to gain the upper hand and give himself the best opportunity to win this fight. As expected in this division, he’s unleashed some severe beatdowns on some opponents and has been the victim of some rather nasty thrashings as well. He’ll need to ensure his striking defense is on point and since he’s a little shorter and slightly heavier, there’s no real physical advantage that I see for either man, really. Daley could very well see if he’s able to land power strikes on Rooy in the early stages of this fight, and if that doesn’t seen to be as effective as he feels it should be, he can surprise Rooy with a quick takedown and immediately battle for superior position where he can control the pace and space of the fight while trying to maneuver Rooy into a submission. However, I think Daley scores the knockout tonight! Xavier: The Evil Empire make their debut on this card in the form of Van Rooy, and the 29-year-old fighter from Eindhoven, Netherlands, knows this is a big opportunity for him tonight! Although he obviously doesn’t have the same amount of experience as Daley, I see it as an advantage that he’s nine years younger than Daley. That alone will enable Rooy to push the pace from the outset and look to slow down the older, more damaged fighter and exploit that as best and as quickly as possible. Rooy has the power to cause Daley some damage and he can definitely make him bleed because Daley’s shown that he’s willing to spill rivulets of blood if he gets hit hard enough! If that’s the route Rooy is going to take, I think he’d be better off being patient and tagging Daley with timely counterstrikes, especially if he can make Daley miss enough strikes to where he tires himself out long before Rooy launches his assault. I don’t think Rooy wants to run the risk of having this fight go to the ground because one, he could obviously end up being twisted up in a submission he doesn’t even want to feel in the first place, or he could lose precious time and opportunities to land damaging blows on Daley in the standup unless Rooy is able to gain the upper hand on the ground and land some ground and pound to soften Daley up for potential submission attempts! Rooy has had two different instances of winning 3-fights in a row while losing 2-fights in a row on three separate occasions. His career has definitely been the definition of up and down but that’s the way it goes sometimes. His recent victory over Leonis Martinyuk by head kick showed everyone at ICS 33 he’s still quite capable of turning out an opponent’s lights and Daley can’t underestimate that fact or he could very well end up getting caught by an unexpected strike that causes him to kiss canvas! Rooy wins this fight by knockout! PREDICTIONS: Xavier – Rooy by KO; Styles – Daley by KO FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE: COLE REYNOLDS (24-6-1; CURRENT STREAK: 8 WINS) VERSUS PABLO “EL LOCO” NORIEGA (18-5-1; CURRENT STREAK: 6 WINS) Xavier: This promises to be one hell of a title fight, ladies and gentlemen, because these men step into the cage with mass amounts of momentum on both sides and a combined fourteen wins in a row! The Stepdads continue their busy evening as the 32-year-old warrior from this state’s capital, Sacramento, and Reynolds brings devastation like a California wildfire or major earthquake when he steps into the cage! It’s still very surprising to me that a man of Reynolds’ capabilities has had a few management teams. Typically, when a man has this type of success and ability, a management team holds onto that fighter like he’s a rare, precious stone because in some regards, that’s exactly what he is! Obviously, Reynolds is a multi-time champion. That distinction began with his defeat of Usko Matonen by unanimous decision at ABW 177 Matonen versus Reynolds. Reynolds would lose that title in his very next fight but not long afterwards, he got himself together and fought his way to another title opportunity. He bested Iker Ramirez by knockout in the first round at ICS 3 and since then, the man has been a possessed champion! He’s successfully defended his title three times in a row, but even more impressive is the fact he’s won all three of those battles by TKO! To say the champ is feelin’ it is an understatement, especially with his confidence soaring as high as it is. A 10-fight win streak has been his best and he’s obviously riding an 8-fight win streak right now, so momentum is a major factor in this fight, for both men really, but Reynolds has held onto momentum longer than Noriega as I see it. His worst losing streak has been the taboo 3-fights in a row but that only happened once and that’s obviously a distant memory, so I don’t think Reynolds and his team have any concerns here tonight in terms of that. World class boxing, excellent Muay Thai, world class grappling and a brown belt are at Reynolds’ disposal but I think he does his best to keep this fight vertical because causing mass amounts of damage in as little time as possible is the bread and butter for this man. Reynolds continues his major roll and lands the knockout victory over Noriega! Styles: The Keyboard Warriors step into the light in this championship battle, and the 34-year-old tattooed warrior from San Salvador, El Salvador, brings plenty of firepower with him into that cage! He’s two years older than Reynolds but has less in-cage combat experience than Reynolds. However, I don’t put too much into that because, as you can see, Noriega knows how to get the job done or he wouldn’t even be in this situation to win a title! The 6-fight win streak he’s currently on is perfectly timed because that’s the best he’s been able to accomplish in his career, and meeting a devastating force like Reynolds head on with a great amount of momentum and confidence undoubtedly bodes well for him! Although Noriega isn’t quite the explosive damaging threat that Reynolds is, he’s a very patient and tactical fighter who can frustrate the champion with excellent striking defense, great timing with his strikes, and changing up angles and levels of attack to keep the champion guessing as to what Noriega will try next. Keeping the champion from building up a full head of steam is the name of the game tonight for Noriega. He absolutely does not want to go straight up head-to-head, toe-to-toe with Reynolds because that will prove very costly and very painful! Outthinking the champion and constant movement will open the door of opportunity for Noriega in this contest. Golden Gloves boxing, excellent Muay Thai, outstanding grappling and a black belt are what back him up, and don’t be surprised if he opts to land quick, light strikes on Reynolds to move ahead on the scorecards while keeping his head down and chin tucked so he doesn’t taste the brutal power that Reynolds brings with him! Noriega is the taller and heavier fighter, so trying to use that weight on the ground is probably the better approach because he can slow down the champion and even look to win this fight by submission, which is exactly what I predict will occur! PREDICTIONS: Styles – Noriega by Submission; Xavier – Reynolds by KO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION: AKONI “KING OF KINGSTON” GRAY (43-6-1; CURRENT STREAK: NONE) VERSUS THIAGO “PITBULL ASSASSIN” THIAGO (24-14; CURRENT STREAK: 2 WINS) Styles: And for the final squabble of the night, we have another myth and legend, and this one is named Akoni Gray! Everyone knows what this man is about! Just look at his damn record and you’ll see that he’s about winning, plain and simple. To have had fifty fights and only lost six of those fights is nearly incredulous, X! We all see his accomplishments but it’s just absolutely incredible to truly understand and appreciate. Of course, The Stepdads are extremely proud of this man and despite being 38 years old, he still rolls right along like a well-oiled engine! It’s still very difficult to imagine that his original management team is fully happy that they decided to part ways with this man because look at what he’s been able to get done! He won his first title when he defeated Rich Piana by Superman Punch at StrikeForce Union #33. His next title was when he joined the OFC and defeated Benjamin BK by knockout late in the third round at OFC 357: BK versus Gray. His next title was when he joined Pride and defeated Three Dog by knockout in the first round at Pride FC 26 Dog versus Gray. He then came to ICS and became a champion here by defeating Art Brock with a very nasty head kick late in the second round at ICS 11. Now, let’s be honest. Shockwaves were sent throughout the land when he lost to Harold Nicolas by bleeding like a stuck hog at ICS 23! He nearly made it through that fight, but the referee called it with sixteen seconds left in the fight. Whispers immediately began to circulate that maybe Gray has lost a step and it’s time for him to consider hanging up the gloves. Well, he shot that theory right in the ass when he dropped Scotty Bapp by knockout late in the third round at ICS 32! He’s ready to prove he’s still one hell of a devastating force and he has a prime opportunity to do just that against Thiago. I think Gray is very motivated to win this fight because he wants to silence any critics plus position himself for another title opportunity in the near future. Gray takes this fight by knockout! Xavier: The “Pitbull Assassin” puts Convicted Inc. in the spotlight again tonight by facing off against one of the very best in the business. The 33-year-old Brazilian brawler from Curitiba knows what’s on the line tonight! This is an outstanding opportunity for Thiago to put himself squarely in the discussion of having a title opportunity in the near future plus he gets the chance to prove himself against one of the very best to ever step into that cage! He knows full well he’s going to have to use his five years younger physical status to try and press Gray into a faster fight than he may want to have because Thiago won’t be able to trick Gray at all, despite Thiago’s incredible skill set! It’s not often at all that a fighter is basically world class in every regard but that’s what we see here in Thiago, so if anyone is capable of besting Gray, it’s this man here! Slightly taller and heavier, Thiago can see if he can get the better of Gray in the standup by being very aggressive and, again, pushing the pace using his energy and less wear and tear on his body. One potential situation that Thiago can put Gray into is making this a ground battle. However, Thiago knows Gray’s chin is a bit susceptible to power and Gray does have scar tissue from that TKO loss due to bleeding, so Thiago could absolutely try and target that eye and make Gray bleed once again. Thiago has proven to be a rather aggressive fighter and I don’t think he changes that approach at all against Gray. He’s definitely rocked a good number of opponents but he, too, has been lambasted by strikes so he can’t completely throw caution to the wind against Gray because Gray has proven he still has plenty of dynamite in his fists! Thiago does have championship experience from when he defeated Enzo Perez by knockout in the fourth round at ABW 187 Perez versus Thiago. He lost the title in his next fight and, let’s be honest. A championship is indelible, of course, but Gray has accomplished that tine and again, so Thiago is going to have to be intelligently aggressive and give it all he has when he’s able to catch Gray with clean strikes. Thiago lets it all hang out when the time is right, and hands Gray a rare defeat by knockout! PREDICTIONS: Xavier – Thiago by KO; Styles – Gray by KO Xavier: There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Another broadcast by yours truly and my very reliable partner in the booth, Furious Styles. Styles: Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to join us yet again for another preview of an exciting and very telling night of action in the ICS! We hope all of you stay safe and well, and as always, we give a huge thank you to Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing for providing outstanding merchandise! Be well, take care, be safe and we’ll see you at the fights.

  9. 350k+ is pretty much owned by Syndicate, and 360k is, well, way too crowded at the moment. But apart from Underground fc and S.A.F.O(which will shut up shop if the rumours are correct), there are not many, if any decent orgs at 345k. So yeah, we do need at least one more in that Id range.

  11. HFC KO 6 http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1592096276HFC%20KO6.jpg Event preview with J.W. Hardman and "Hardcore" Harley Blaze. Coming from New York, Hardcore F.C. presents another exciting event for all the Hardcore MMA fans of the world. No title fights, no make or break fights, just a good old slug fest of fighters looking to jostle for position in the rankings and have a chance at earning the $5k fastest KO bonus. Yes, the fastest fighter to KO or TKO his opponent will win an additional 5k reward. This will be a separate reward from the normal KO of the Night. Harley, what do you think about this event? Blaze "Hey, anyone will say hell yeah to a shot at winning 5 grand. But in the HFC, all these guys will say hell yeah to a chance at KOing their opponent anyway, so it's just frosting on the cake. Shit, I want some cake now." I agree, HFC has been blessed with some talented KO artists and these guys value glory over money for the most part. But a free months worth of training never hurt anyone, right? Moving on to our preview. Main Event: Mankar Camoran vs Gregory Motts (265) In our main event of the evening, two former Madness fighters square off for the first time against each other, each in their HFC debut. We have seen a flux in talent in the HFC over the summer, and it's nearly all due to the Madness merger. I'm very eager to start watching these fighters careers and see how far they can climb up the HFC mountain of dominance. Camoran (8-3) comes into this fight looking to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to the then Madness champ, Demir Kocak. With two title fights under his belt, both resulting in a loss, Camoran has endured and moved on and always bounced back from a loss. He's a versatile fighter who's displayed great BJJ in his many submission victories as well as KO power in his KO victories. He is a proficient striker who's practiced in both boxing and MT, but just as well versed, if not a little better, on the ground in wrestling and being a BJJ purple belt. Camoran holds an impressive "of the night" award display as he boasts 3 FotN, 3 SotN, and 2 KO otn awards. Very impressive and tells his opponents he's looking to finish. So I can only imagine a decision loss is just eating away at him building up to this fight, and he'll be looking to let loose of some built up aggression on Motts. Motts (8-2) comes into this fight equally impressive with a very similar record to that of Camoran. He's a better boxer and wrestler than Camoran, and significantly better at that. Each fighter seem to be pretty even in the MT game, but Camoran's edge is in his superior BJJ training. Motts will look to come out swinging and keeping this fight on the ground, and with his boxing skills, and high wrestling, he may just be able to avoid a takedown. If he can keep this fight standing, I think Motts will get another TKO victory here, but if this fight goes to the ground, his defense will surely be tested. Another key note to this fight when looking at these fighters records, Motts lost a fight to Antonio Nagashima via submission, while Camoran defeated Nagashima in a decision fight a few months before that. No telling who's going to come out on top in this one, but we'll send it over to "Hardcore" Harley Blaze for his thoughts and prediction. Blaze: "This should be a great fight to cap off the evening. If you look at the records of these two fighters, one thing stands out. They are both finishers, and both very good at it. The difference is that Camoran has shown the ability to really mix up his game and adapt well to any fighter. Motts is a lethal striker, and has very good wrestling training. If his wrestling is enough to ward off Camorans takedown attempts, I think the Boxing advantage will give him the win. Prediction: Motts via TKO round 2 Co-Main Event: Gunner Larsson vs Dixon Ulster (170) Our co-main event features two fighters from last years island season, who both made their way over to HFC. Each have had a few fights under the HFC banner, and both have been impressive, to say the least. Larsson is an accomplished grappler through and through. He boasts a 12-5 record and has won a title twice in his career to date. In the HFC, he fell short of his title shot against longtime former HFC champ Samuel Rodrigues. With 5 (T)KO, 3 Subs, and 4 decision victories under his belt, "Gunni" has long since proven he is capable of adapting and competing with anyone standing in front of him. A dangerous man on the ground, but some hidden KO power in those fists of his too. Ulster (9-4) is another accomplished fighter who also has had a championship under his belt back on the islands when he TKO'd HFC's own Herlock Von Ryan in his early days. "Mad Dawg" is another versed fighter who can adapt his game-plan as he's also won victories via (T)KO, submission and decision. No doubt these two fighters will be trying to figure each other out going into this fight. Ulster is the superior striker with superb boxing and respectable MT training, he's also a very good wrestler and a purple belt in BJJ. He has the skills to stay in the fight if this goes to the ground, and may even possible surprise Larsson if he's not careful. Blaze "Larsson is a very good fighter, and very capable of winning this fight. He's got that "it" factor, some fighters have it, some don't, but he definitely does. Despite that, I don't think he's going to be able to finish off Ulster. Yes, he has an advantage in the wrestling department, so maybe he'll be able to get the fight to the ground. But I've seen Ulster, time and again, find a way to avoid being submitted or reverse things and pull out a win. With that being said. Prediction Mad Dawg Ulster wins via TKO round 3." Main Cards: Bruce Vanorden vs Jean Lucroy (205) Bruce Vanorden (6-3) is back in action with a new look after a recent management change. Bruce was doing great, mowing through the SMASH roster, but hasn't won a fight in the HFC since the merger. 6-0 before HFC, 0-3 since HFC. So with a manager change, a new training regime, it's time to see if Bruce can bounce back into the win column. Bruce has some very solid skills, do not be fooled by this 3 fight losing streak. He's a superb boxer, just as well trained in MT, holds a purple belt in BJJ and has been wrestling since his youth. There are no holes in Vanorden's game, and he'll be out to prove it against Lucroy. Lucroy (9-1) is not the striker Vanorden is, not even close. He's feeble at best from range, but let me tell you, this man has shown no problems in taking down his opponents. And when he gets them down, he puts them down. He's not looking to hug and tug, he wants to ground and pound and flatten faces. His only loss came to Nenad Jovanovic in SAFO in a title fight. He's never tasted defeat before, nor since. Vanorden will definitely have his work cut out for him in this one, but if he can keep the fight standing, he should be able to pull out another KO victory. If Lucroy takes this fight to the ground, which he almost certainly will, it could be a very quick end to Vanorden's night. Blaze "I think Bruce is a great fighter, I really do. I've seen him display some beautiful striking and ability to finish, but he's in a slump right now. And this is not the best opponent he could have right now to turn things around, but if he does get the win here, what a turn around it would be! This is a very important fight for Bruce because with the HFC rosters shrinking, these spots in the top 20 become extremely precious. I just think Lucroy is too good at what he does and finds a way to get this fight to the ground." Prediction, Lucroy wins via TKO round 2 Jack Waller vs Florisvaldo De Oliveira (135) Jack Waller (8-1), former HFC champ (3x defending) is fighting in his final HFC fight before moving over to BFC to compete for the belt there. For a fighter fighting older, better trained fighters his whole career, Waller has been as impressive as any fighter in HFC history. His only loss in his most recent title fight to new champ Chad Repine. Waller displays some superb boxing and wrestling skills, but has been training in MT and BJJ as well. His striking and GnP have kept him in the win column most of his career, but De Oliveira will be looking to keep him out of it in this one. Oliveira (4-1) is riding a 3 fight win streak, all by submission. He's a ground specialist who holds a brown belt in BJJ, and is pretty well rounded in his wrestling and striking abilities. Depending on how well he can do on the defensive side of things from the ground, he may find himself in a position to ward off and upset the former champ. But if he can't prevent that nasty GnP, Waller will look to mow right through him in his HFC finale. Blaze "This should be a fun fight. I mean, Waller doesn't have fights that are not worth watching, but this is a really good matchup. Because I've seen nothing to tell me Waller won't continue winning like he always does, no matter who you throw in there against him. But in Oliveira, he's got the one tool that gives him a legit chance to take out Waller, Jujitsu. If Oliveira can catch Waller's arm when he's trying to GnP, and lock in a quick submission, he could pull out this upset win that would surely catapult him in the division rankings." Prediction, Oliveira gets a submission victory (armbar) late in round 1 and announces himself to the HFC. Ed Ford vs Miguel Sandoval (155) Ed Ford (3-2) is a much, MUCH better fighter than his record suggests. Ed boasts remarkable boxing, sensational MT, remarkable wrestling and even a purple belt in BJJ. This man has been in the gym for a while and training with the best, and he intends to show it in this fight against Sandoval. Sandoval (7-4) is the much more experienced fighter of the two with nearly twice as many fights so far in his young career. He's a superb boxer and respectable MT fighter, but his bread and butter is his sensational wrestling accented by a purple belt in BJJ. Seeking to use his GnP skills, Sandoval will be looking to get this fight to the ground quickly where he can capitalize on his advantage. He won't want to be standing with Ford for very long less he wants to chance going to sleep before he leaves the cage. Blaze "I think you nailed that one J.W. Sandoval has to get this fight to the ground to win, plain and simple. If he does, he wins. It's that simple in my book. But if he can't get this fight to the ground, I think Ford will be walking away 4-2 and looking to take on the world." Prediction, Sandoval gets the takedown late in the first and does some damage, but finishes it early in the 2nd round via TKO." Undercards: Not doing a full preview of under-cards at this time, but will let Harley take a shot at making his quick picks for these fights and highlight any notes he sees fit. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15922658312354.jpg Harley Blaze Don Piano vs Tobias Funke (265) Blaze "Piano is the better fighter here, not by much, but all around just the better fighter. Expect both of these guys to stay standing, but look for Piano to finish this fight in the 2nd sometime for a KO victory. Prediction, Don Piano via KO in round 2." Jim Fox vs Sergey Telegin (265) Blaze "Man! What a stache! I know Fox is only 5-5 and a well rounded fighter who doesn't excell at any particular style, but how can someone with that stache ever lose?? He'll be going against another fighter who is very similarly trained but seems to have an edge in wrestling. Maybe that will give him the edge, but due to that outstanding mustache I have to go with Fox for my pick." Prediction, Jim Fox wins via decision (mustache). Andrey Gorohov vs Malcolm King (170) Blaze "Gorohov has shown to be a gym rat, but never found a way to apply it in the ring. He's 1-3 for a reason, despite having solid well rounded game and being a very good MT practitioner. Coming off back to back losses, I fear he loses again against King. Malcolm King is a beast on his feet and very competent on the ground. He matches Gorohov's MT striking, but is a much better boxer and his record reflects it." Prediction, King wins via KO in round 1. Colton Northwood vs Crimson Foot (145) Blaze "This fight has potential to be the fight of the night. These guys are as evenly matched on the ground as you'll ever see. Both are Brown belt BJJ and sensational wrestlers. Foot has displayed some very solid striking in the gym, so I'll be curious to see if he uses his striking to his advantage against Northwood. This will probably be a grappling match like no other, but don't be surprised if Foot mixes it up and shocks Colton. But Colton has the grappling experience that might give him the edge on the ground, so it can go either way." Prediction, Foot wins via unanimous decision. Nate Gracie vs Primo Volto (170) Blaze "Well, Gracie is on a horrible skid and I don't see him lasting on this roster. I think he loses again in this one against Volto too. Volto is on the cusp and fighting for a spot in the top 20, but he's not there yet. This could set him up to have a chance of staying on the HFC roster." Prediction, Volto wins via submission in round 1. Thank all of you Hardcore MMA fans for tuning in to this preview. We hope you enjoy the fights next weekend and find out who will win this KO of the night purse. We are sure to have a lot of finishes, so grab a seat and lets get ready to rumble!

  14. Totally untrue. After CECs closure ,Mr Scrumbellos tried to scam Syn by accepting our initial offer and then going to Inferno asking for more money than the sum we agreed upon. Inferno informed me about it and both orgs agreed to boycott Mr Scrumbellos for unprofessional behaviour. You are just a liar and a shameless hater. A disgrace for this community. Ps: Scrumbellos was the one who begged Bjorn for one last fight at Syn but i already had him blocked.Syn never tried to poach anyone. Not on my watch .

  15. HFC 23 - Silva vs Qanar Hello Hardcore MMA fans! Tonight we saw another great round of fights between some great fighters and capped off the night with an amazing title fight which turned out to be our fight of the night! I'm joined by our very own "Hardcore" Harley Blaze this evening to go over some of these fights. Blaze "Hey guys, gals, and Blazers around the world! Tonight was a great event and we crowned a new champion. I can't wait to break down these fights. Good job J.W." For? Blaze "For not messing up the fights again." Dude.. that wasn't, never mind.. moving on... So I was thinking, it's going to take a little while, but since we haven't been able to get any previews done the last few weeks, and yesterdays review was cut a bit short, I want to go over a quick breakdown of every fight on the card tonight. With only 2 decision victories, we have 8 finishes we can highlight and some well earned FotN awards. Blaze "You're just hoping fans forget that you screwed the pooch yesterday smoking all that Sheba. I told you man, even you're not that Hardcore!" Undercards: Bilal Vinsson vs Sean O Sullivan (145) Our first fight of the evening got the crowd started with a great matchup between Vinsson and O Sullivan. A combined 18 fights between them, nobody expected a fight like this to be an undercard, much less the opening fight. But when at Hardcore, we do things a little off the books. O Sullivan stood toe to toe with Vinsson throughout the first round, and nearly all of the second. While neither fighter was able to display much efficiency in the way of striking, Vinsson was able to get the fight to the ground a few times where he turned into the Tasmanian devil and unleashed a flurry of strikes on poor ole' O Sullivan. O Sullivan wanted to keep this fight standing, but was only able to land just over 20% of his strikes. Vinsson didn't fare much better from range, but on the ground, well.. Let's just say I didn't count the strikes. The score cards show he landed 36 of 50 strikes from GnP. Despite taking a loss to an eventual TKO under the constant barrage of strikes from Vinsson, O Sullivan showed he can take a punch, or 36, before finally giving way. Both of these fighters put it all out there, and Vinsson will walk away with his head a little higher after this late 2nd round TKO finish. Vinsson wins via TKO (strikes) 4:59 of round 2. Blaze "Man, these two looked like they were just feeling each other out from range. Neither looked to take it to the clinch, and though Vinsson wanted to take it to the ground, O Sullivan did a pretty good job at defending the takedown. But Vinsson was just too much, and man, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that ground and pound. That was some brutal shit man!" Jore Maki vs Bane Darwin (265+) Let me start off by saying this fight was runner up for KO of the Night award. Not much to talk about in this fight due to the quick finish, but I know you'll have something to say about it. One thing I can say though, is I always enjoy a quick KO finish where the fighter is put to sleep before he ever touches the mat. Maki wins via KO (punch) :28 round 1 Blaze "Haha, you know me well bro! I just commented last night about how we didn't have any of those 30 second KO's, but we were not lacking tonight. Maki displayed some great awareness and lethal striking power and put an end to this fight in only 28 seconds." Juan De Souza vs Roundhouse Luke (205) Another undercard featuring two more experienced fighters as De Souza (6-7) squared off against Luke (5-6). Neither fighter stands out as an excellent fighter based on their records, as both of these guys came into this fight needing a win to get back to a .500 win percentage. With the recently released HFC rankings, these two guys need to step up their game to grab a spot in that top 20 before the roster is trimmed down to the top 20 fighters. Luke got rocked half way through the 1st round by a nasty right hand from De Souza. The next shot sent him crashing to the mat and had the fans on their feet in anticipation for the big finish that was sure to come. But, much to the dismay of the fans, and myself, Luke was waved back to his feet as De Souza was looking for the big KO. Some back and forth blows between these two until about 3 minutes into the 2nd round when De Souza launched a crisp counter combo that dropped Luke again. And again, De Souza stepped back and waved Luke to his feet. I guess at this point, he was pretty confident he could score that KO. 30 seconds later, De Souza launched another counter right that dropped Luke for the 3rd time, and the 3rd time was the charm as De Souza dove in and finished the fight via TKO. De Souza wins via TKO (strikes) 3:31 of round 2. Blaze "Well, honestly I thought this fight was done in the first. I mean, he had the perfect chance for the quick finish but got a little too cocky. I understand wanting to land that big highlight KO, but when you don't finish a fighter when you have the chance, you're only giving a chance for something bad to happen. I think I heard Souza's corner barking at him to finish the damned fight. Maybe that's why he finally jumped in and put an end to this fight at last." Boxing Mcsparr vs Darko Milicic (170) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15785989387464.png Hey Harley, you want to take point on this fight? I'm backing a bowl. Blaze "Yeah man, I'd be happy to cover this one. Just pass that mofo when you're done." Blaze "Our next fight between Mcsparr and Milicic was nothing short of spectacular. These two men have no quit in them, none at all. This fight went down to the wire and was left in the judges hands. Now you know me, I'm not a fan of leaving a fight to chance, and that's exactly what you do when you leave it to the score cards. But Mcsparr lived up to his name and made the veteran Milicic look silly out there. The man looked like a terminator out there with a speed upgrade. Mcsparr was all over the place, range, clinch, punching, kicking, throwing bows, the man was NOT about to lose this fight. I am sure he was fighting more accurately and aggressively than Milicic, but when you land 32 punches to the face of your opponent, usually the opponent looks like a bloodied and battered half rotted pumpkin before finally going to sleep. But Milicic said to thell with that, I'll sleep when I'm dead." Well, I can't say I disagree with you, Harley. Here, take this.. So looking at the numbers, man, this was a one sided fight all the way. The judges would have a hard time messing this one up. Mcsparr landed an amazing 32/35 head strikes, 10/15 body punches, 2/3 head kicks, and was just as efficient in the clinch with 14/15 head strikes and 7/13 body strikes. He was just too accurate and too much to handle for Milicic. Milicic seemed to want to throw tons of combinations, which I suppose can be good in a boxing match that you want to counter in, but it didn't work for him tonight. He was only able to land 2/23 combos and about 40% of his other strikes, if that. He did take the fight into the clinch twice, but was completely dominated in the clinch. I don't know why he tried to keep going back, but I guess he was just looking for any answer to stop the machine gun bee stings coming from Mcsparr. Great job by Mcsparr! Mcsparr wins via Unanimous Decision Herlock Von Ryan vs Dale Steyn (170) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25b18.jpg In our final undercard of the evening, we have two solid fighters coming in to show the world who belongs where on the new rankings as Von Ryan (9-6) took on Steyn (4-5). Steyn wasted no time getting the fight to the ground via a nice counter takedown, but Von Ryan pulled a quick sweep and jumped into mount. Expecting a quick finish, again, we were disappointed. A few minutes of wrestling on the ground and the ref stood the fight back up. Round two was more of the same but Von Ryan took the fight to the ground this time and started trying to work in a submission. Steyn displayed some nice defense and was able to ward off his attempts and we move to round three. Round three was much teh same, a takedown by Steyn and a submission battle back and forth until the final bell ending the fight. As expected, a grappling event that neither fighter was able to finish and we went to the judges where Von Ryan picked up the decision. Von Ryan wins via Unanimous Decision Blaze "Man, honestly, this fight was kind of boring to me. From the ratings, I would say the fans too. There was some very good wrestling and BJJ displayed, but you know me. I like to see the blood and teeth flying across the cage as the gladiators beat the shit out of each other. But hey, to each his own, and nobody can take this victory away from Von Ryan. Excellent job by Von Ryan tonight." Main Cards: Alan Ragasatria vs Ruddo Ryokale (135) (SotN) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39b23.jpg And our first fight of the main cards, and our only submission of the night earning Ragasatria the SotN award. Tonight seemed like a crazy night with several fights being finished or stopped within seconds of the bell. I don't know if it was a plan for the refs to have some fun or just worked out that way, but here's another example of a buzzer beater finish as this fight ended with 1 second left in the 1st round. Ragasatria took the fight to the ground quickly and tried to lock in a quick submission victory but was warded off by some nice defense from Ryokale. Then, Ryokale went all out submission fest and quickly moved from submission to submission trying to find an opening to finish Ragasatria until the ref had seen enough and stood the fight back up. Shortly after the 4 minute mark, Ryokale took the fight to the clinch and then quickly back to the ground where this time Ragasatria was ready to jump on a submission and locked triangle that quickly changed to a Guillotine that forced the tap with only 1 second to go in the round. Great finish by Ragasatria and a great display of BJJ from both of these warriors. Ragasatria wins via Submission (Guillotine) 4:59 of round 1 Blaze "Are you f**king kidding me?? 1 second left? Bro, I would have rather been put to sleep than to know I tapped out with only 1 second left on the clock. Maybe he knew he was outmatched at that point and just wanted it to be over, or maybe he didn't want to go back to his corner and hear a lecture. Whatever the case, you tapped out with 1 second left in the round, and that's not what I would call Hardcore. But I am sure Ryokale will be back with a chip on his shoulder looking to finish his next fight. " Leon vs Daniel Yonic (185) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b19.jpg Another runner up for KO of the Night as Lentz took it to Yonic in another 30 second KO. I don't think anyone saw this quick finish coming as neither of these fighters makes a habit of losing, but boy, Lentz didn't hesitate. He walks away from this fight completely unscathed as it only took him 4 strikes to put Yonic to sleep like a baby on a cold winter night snuggled up with a blanket in front of the fire place.. Yonic yawned as he drifted off into peaceful bliss and woke up with the worst hangover of his life to the ugly face of his ring side manager waving a stink stick under his nose. He was taken to the local medical facility to be checked out, but has been released with no permanent damage. Lentz wins via KO :33 of round 1 Blaze "That's what I like to see! Not only was it a quick KO, it was a complete domination of another great fighter! This has got to shake Yonic's confidence a little, but he's a hell of a fighter and will bounce back in his next fight. I thought this fight was KO of the night, but there were some great ones so I can't really argue with the result." Chip Nickel vs Rooga Chooga (185) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15609725464425.jpg This fight was one of the fights I was anticipating the most. Chooga was looking very good in the newly released rankings and Nickel was the only thing standing in his way of the #1 contender label. And stand in the way he did. Nickel landed a big head kick early that dropped Chooga, but the fight was not over as Nickel waved the now bleeding Chooga to his feet. Some more impressive striking from Nickel over the next couple of minutes before another brutal knockdown from a big right. Again, Chooga gets back to his feet and they go at it. Eventually, in the final minute of the opening round, Nickel landed a beautiful counter right that put Chooga down again, and again the 3rd time is the charm as this time Nickel dove in and finished the fight from mount. Nickel wins via TKO (strikes) 4:11 of round 1 Blaze "Man, what a dominate performance by Nickel in this one! Chooga is no joke, but he was made to look a fool by Nickel in this fight. I can't wait to see how Chooga reacts to this one sided loss, but I also can't wait to see Nickel in action again. If he keeps this up, he might become my new favorite fighter to watch." Co-Main Event: Boris Krylov vs Antonio Nagashima (265) (KotN) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15505388128095.gif And now we get down to the nitty gritty as we are finally at our Co-Main event of the evening. This bout coming from the heavyweight division features two of our premier fighters in Krylov and Nagashima battling it out for supremacy. With these fighters coming into the fight with a combined record of 15-5, it was no doubt this would be a war and everyone thought this would be a finish. I don't think anyone wanted or expected this one to go the distance. This fight is one that I love to display as hardcore, with both men being bloodied in the first round, and neither one backing down to the challenge. The cage had to be cleaned after this fight, and there were still a ton of blood stains all over the canvas for the main event. This made for a beautiful backdrop for the title fight. These two warriors went toe to toe and never looked back. Krylov was a little more rounded in his attack but both fighters were pretty aggressive. Unfortunately for Nagashima, he was only able to land 9 of his 23 strikes and failed to connect on any other strike but those to the head. Krylov, on the other hand, did a very good job of mixing his strikes up and keeping Nagashima off balance not knowing where the next strike would come from. But one thing was for sure, it was coming. In the waning seconds of the 2nd round, seemingly out of nowhere, Krylov launched and landed a beautiful head kick that put Nagashima face first onto the mat. This is a KO victory if I've ever seen it, but due to the fact that the aggressive Krylov wasn't going to take any chances and was about to jump in to finish the fight, the ref, former rugby player, decided to show his best Goldberg spear and launched himself to tackle Krylov to save the hapless Nagashima. Krylov wins via KO (head kick) 4:51 of round 2 Blaze "Man, another last second finish, but at least this one was a legit KO finish. And what about that ref! You should have him go sign up for BFC and see if he's got what it takes. That was a sick ass tackle! As for the KO, I can't argue with that beauty of a kick that won the KO otN award. There were some faster ones tonight, but that one definitely stood out to me in watching these fights." Main Event: Felix Silva vs Dro Qanar (205) Title Fight (FotN) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15142002757585.jpg And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for! The fight of the night, the belt on the line, the warrior without a manager in sight, this fight had it all! Well, almost all.. I didn't see the entourage of half naked women all over Silva. Maybe that was Fury's entourage. Either way, Silva will have his women now! The 205 belt has been vacant for some time now since the previous title holder left the org to avoid fighting against Silva. Now, we can all see why as Silva displayed some serious skill against Dro Qanar in this one. And take it from me, Qanar is no slouch! With the Madness champ leaving for GAMMA, and no HFC champ, we needed a new champion. And with Silva next in line for the title shot, it was simply a matter of putting up the HFC #1 contender against the Madness #1 contender to determine who would be our first ever combined HFC light heavyweight champion of the world. Another fight where blood was the theme, these two gladiators did not let the crowd down. Are you not entertained? It was a blood-fest, and with the already blood covered canvas, I can imagine it was a bit hard to get your footing out there. I've never seen so much blood between two fights in my life, this one may go down as a record for the HFC. Silva was the more aggressive fighter, but that could be from all the blood that Qanar was spilling in this fight. Qanar displayed some solid striking defense from range, but once in the clinch things really opened up for Silva as he completely dominated the fight in the clinch. Many questioned why the ref didn't stop the fight to let the doctor take a look at that cut, but in the HFC we love blood and I saw Harley down there talking to the doc telling him not to interfere unless it was life threatening. These two went back and forth but with only 5 seconds to go in round 2, Silva landed an uppercut from hell putting Silva against the cage. Qanar appeared to be completely out of it, possibly unconscious while standing as Silva landed a barrage of strikes until the ref finally decided to save Qanar. And NEW HFC Light Heavyweight Champion of the World... Felix Silva!!! Amazing job by our new champion, we hope to see him back in action soon, but without a manager to book his fights, we're not sure how soon he'll be defending this title. So other contenders out there, stay on point and get yourself ready to challenge. Because if we don't see Silva defending that belt again this summer, you'll be finding yourself in a tournament for the new championship! Silva wins via TKO (strikes) 4:55 of round 2 http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15922658312354.jpg Blaze "Man, what a show! Crazy part is that Qanar actually looked pretty good out there, but when you look at this fight on paper, it looks very one sided. But nobody can argue with a finish like that, and hats off to Silva for not only earning himself the belt, but also to stay ruthless and make sure the fight was won before quitting. And then, I completely agree with him being so aggravated at the ref for taking so long to step in. That could have been very dangerous for Qanar." And that concludes our review of HFC 23. We want to thank all of our managers and fighters for helping put on this event, one that will be remembered (and felt by some) for a very long time. Never have I seen so much blood between the main and co-main events, and we loved every second of it! As we move forward and narrow down these rosters to only the elite fighters of the 350k range, expect nothing short of spectacular fights from our warriors here in the HFC, the true home of Hardcore!

  18. Maybe I am wrong and have too many fiighters with a crappy ID but it seems to me there would be a good market for a 345k org. Just thought I would post this to see if there is any interest , i dont have the time to run an org personally but just want to see if 345k is dead as a stand alone restricted ID

  19. http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1589644320SP_Poster_155CSS.png Post Event Cheap Shots Lightweight Cockshot Sorter Series: Round 2 Hey Sucker Punch fans, Hare Rumpler here alongside my partner and analyst, Donkey “Dan” and our ferocious media correspondent, Suzy Sucker Punch. The weekend is coming to a close here, and it’s been a beautiful one where we are on the east coast of the US. Hope it’s been great where you are too! But, with the weekend coming to an end, it’s beyond time for us to look back at the matches from Friday night and see what has come of it all! This card highlighted the fighters remaining in the Lightweight Sorter Series along with the rest of their division and one fight left over from the Welterweights a week earlier. One of our Lightweights had a bye this round as his opponent ducked out, so that left us with three Sorter Series fights, five regular Lightweight bouts and that one Welterweight fight that started us off for the evening. We did pretty well on the event rating for this event given we were one fight short. Not as well as I’d have liked to see, but not awful either. This division in general has tended to trail behind the others in hype, and I hope to remedy that going forward. We may need to bring in a few more higher skilled/rated fighters to give everybody a good run for their money once the division tourney is over! http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1584375781SWN.jpg As always, a big shout-out to Shadow Warrior Nutrition! They were at the event, giving out samples, getting the party kicked off so if you missed them, and if you haven’t grabbed some Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q for your fighters yet, it’s time to do so! This fantastic energy loss reduction supplement is the absolute best way to keep your fighters in the gym fighting rather than sitting out sessions resting! Check them out today, you won’t be disappointed! Now, let's get to it! Bonus Welterweight Undercard Bout Konrad Wagner Defeats Igor Nox via TKO (Strikes) I’m going to tell ya right now, this card did a number on Donkey’s picks and I don’t think he’s going to come out of this sitting as pretty as he normally does! And that starts out right away with this fight, where Donkey had picked Nox to win via TKO. Wagner had a little something to say about that, or rather, his hands did! Nox came out and had two combo attempts, two takedown attempts and three clinch attempts, none of which succeeded. In between, Wagner landed 8 shots out of 10 attempted, which must have landed pretty well as Nox found himself rocked quickly and down and out a little over a minute in! Wow. Short work of this one by Wagner, and he moves on to a 1-0 record! That’s the way to start out not only a career but your start with Sucker Punch Pro Series! Any thoughts Donkey…? Donkey’s Takeaways: I was treating this as a “see who can establish what” type fight. They, or at least Wagner, didn’t really give me much time to see any of that. Instead, Wagner took it to Nox and came out on top for his first win! A big statement win for Wagner given he is one of the very few…actually, perhaps the only, 360k+ ID’s we have here at Sucker Punch! And yet he’s showing he can get it done. Very impressive. Can’t wait to see what he can do in his next fight. For Nox, he falls to 1-5. A really tough spot to be in as a 26 year old where the youngsters will start to catch you fast in the next few months, if they haven’t already. He’s lost four in a row now, two at Sucker Punch, and his next fight may be a make it or break it type deal. He’s really going to need to come away with a win! ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #1 Sho Pereyra Defeats Erik Versteeg via Submission (Armbar) Two fights, two wrong! Donkey, what’s up with this man??? You’re just off your game…either that, or this card really was just that unpredictable! In a battle of who can moonwalk and who has more knowledge of comics, moonwalking wins! Naturally! Pereyra and his manager, Hyousuke Yamamoto, really showed Donkey on this one. Not only did he go against them due to a concern over Pereyra’s morale and energy, but also thinking that they couldn’t overcome young Versteeg’s clinch advantage. I the first round, Versteeg never even got a chance to showcase any clinch skills, as less than a minute in Pereyra already had the takedown and all but a portion of the final minute of this round was spent on the ground with Versteeg fending off sub attempts. Kudos to Versteeg for managing to survive a round spent almost entirely on the ground! Round two came, and Versteeg got his chance in the clinch right away, but unfortunately was unable to prevent Pereyra from dictating the fight again as Sho immediately took it to the ground once again. A failed guillotine followed, some struggle to get up by Versteeg and then, an arm left unguarded and Pereyra had what he wanted! Donkey, another one picked…wrong…? Donkey’s Takeaways: It’s true that I almost always go against a combination of low morale and low energy. And most of the time, it’s the right pick. Sometimes a guy overcomes the odds that that stacks against him and comes through though, and this was one of those fights! Kudos to Pereyra for overcoming the disadvantage given to him by his manager before this fight. And finding a way to not only win the fight, but control it for the most part. Young Versteeg continues to search for that first win. He’ll get it no doubt, but he has to be hoping that next fight is the magic one! Sho Pereyra took to the mic in his post-fight interview with Suzy Sucker Punch… Sho Pereyra: Thanks to my team. I hope this is a good sign for my future. ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #2 Piney Winston Defeats Jank Stank via Submission (Guillotine) Donkey managed to get out of his rut on this one, finally getting one correct! Not that that’s saying a lot, this one was honestly an easy pick and almost a sure-fire win for Winston. Stank’s morale was almost non-existent coming into this fight, and that is a death sentence in almost any fight. Winston went into this one with a pretty straightforward approach. Get into the clinch, use it to abuse and soften up Stank, who was likely already primed to give in and submit anyway, and then take him down. And at just over a minute in, the takedown did occur and from there you almost knew it just wasn’t going to last long, especially when Winston was able to transition from side control to mount with almost no fight from Stank. One sub attempt later, Stank was ready to tap out and offered his head on a platter for the guillotine. Donkey, what say you sir...? Donkey’s Takeaways: Not much more to say here. This was Piney’s fight to lose, and he’d almost have had to go in there and tap himself our if he wanted to lose at that! Stank wasn’t ready to fight, and unless he gets that morale up, he won’t be ready next time either. Piney tacks on another win and it will be time to put him against some tougher competition over the next two cards to see what he’s got. ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #3 Rock Lee Defeats Corona Virus via Unanimous Decision Donkey gets this one right on a technicality in that he picked the winner, but he had it via a TKO finish and instead this went the distance! Which is surprising given that Virus was low on energy to start. You have to wonder if perhaps he’d been fully rested maybe he could have pulled off the decision? This fight had a bit of everything, starting away in the first round! Clinch, takedown, standup, clinch, break, clinch, break, rinse, repeat! These two were all over the place. Not a lot of action on the ground when they were there honestly, so for the fans, it was best that they kept getting back up anyway. Three rounds of more of the same. Lee managed to win this one by virtue of being the more active and aggressive fighter, mixing in some feet action as well with his striking. Virus spent the energy he could have been using to throw more strikes trying to clinch up instead. He was successful nine time, as Lee was 8 times, but Virus also attempted it a stunning 37 times. That’s a ton, and probably meant the difference in the fight. Donkey, surprised by this one…? Donkey’s Takeaways: Not really. The ending, or lack of a finish, perhaps. But I’ll take a win for my picks any way I can get it! For Lee, he gets his win, ties up the record, and things are looking up if he can start stringing them together with consistency. For Virus though, he slips to 0-2, which isn’t the end of the world at the early stages of a career, but he’ll definitely be looking to prevent the ole 0 for 3 after this! ********* Lightweight Undercard Bout #4 Demi Achilles (3-1-0) vs. Ko Artist (1-2-0) Wow, ok, now Donkey is starting to get his swagger on a bit! Not only the winner, but the type of finish…and also the exact submission! Nicely done there Donkey! Artist did what he needed to do…for about a whole minute, maybe minute and a half in this one. He kept Achilles at range and kept him from working the takedown. But then…with only feet in the mix for Artist and no strikes from the hands yet…and a clinch attempt in the works, Achilles took the opportunity to finally get it onto the canvas. Here’s the thing, if you don’t want to get taken down, those kicks better stay lower to reduce the chance of a counter. And almost all of Artist’s kicks were to the body or head, none to the legs. Yes, Achilles got him on a counter takedown after a clinch attempt by Artist, but this was only going to be a matter of time with all the kicks going high also. Unless…and that is a big UNLESS…Artist managed to catch him with one and KO him. Once this thing was down, kick into exactly what Donkey said. With low morale, Artist was not going to last. It’s amazing that he fended off three sub attempts quite frankly before he succumbed to the fourth. Nice pick there Donkey…anything to add…? Donkey’s Takeaways: I should have taken my pick to the bank Hare! We gotta get that bookie company up and doing something! Said I would put ALL of my money on Achilles in this ones, and that was the right call, unquestionably. Achilles moves to a very respectable 4-1 now, with his sole loss being to Vinicius Verreira. That’s not something to be ashamed of, Verreira is one of the favorites to potentially walk away with the championship from the Sorter Series. Artist on the other hand is 25 and now drops to 1-3. He desperately needs to catch a win in his next fight to even things up a bit. Unless he changes his clothes quite a bit for the next week or two and gets that morale up, it’s not going to happen though. Suzy caught up with Achilles as he excited the cage… Suzy Sucker Punch: Demi, fantastic win tonight and an exciting submission finish! The loss in the first round of the Sorter Series had to be devastating, but tonight seems to have been a chance to send a message with this win. What are your thoughts? Demi Achilles: Just like everyone's been saying, my loss to Verreira was a fluke. So if I get a chance to fight him again I'll take it and prove it. Suzy Sucker Punch: Guys, Achilles is clearly fired up and ready to go! This is a man who clearly doesn’t appreciate a loss, and is ready for his revenge! You have to love that fire. ********* Lightweight CSS Round 2: #7 vs. #15 Vinicius Verreira Defeats Veljko Bakocevic via TKO (Strikes) Speaking of Verreira and his aspirations to potentially be the first champion for the Lightweight division, here is the man himself! In the first of our three matches on this card that feature fighters still vying for the Sorter Series championship, and to be belted our first division champion, he manages to get past Bakocevic via a TKO to move on to the semi-finals. And it didn’t take long to do it. Donkey technically gets another correct on this one, although he called for a KO. But 54 seconds into this one Verreira was able to lay claim to victory and while I’m not sure if Bakocevic coming in less than fully prepared factored in or not, I know one thing, it certainly couldn’t have hurt to be ready! Bakocevic immediately went for the takedowns, desperate it seems to get this to the ground and pretty much abandoning any attempt to hide his intentions. He had four of them stuffed before he even knew what happened, and was already sucking air before the half minute mark! That’s never a good sign. And pretty much each time he was thwarted, he also paid for it with a counter to the nose, chin or body. And, as we said, in just under a minute…Bako steps in, Verreira lets loose a straight left, and down goes Bako! Ya called it Donkey, easy pickings eh…? Donkey’s Takeaways: Verreira was fully prepared for this fight and is clearly on a mission to try to make it at least to the finals. Well, he now has his trip to the semi-finals, so he inches closer! Bakocevic was not fully prepared, and this is what happens most of the time in those cases. Rather than give yourself the best shot possible, you take a shot, and set up the other guy for a highlight reel and potential KO of the Night. ********* Lightweight Main Card Bout Mike Snot Defeats Damir Makarovich via KO (Punch) Well, Donkey had a bit of a streak going there, but now Mike Snot decided it was time to put an end to that silliness. Donkey picked Makarovich via submission in this one mostly due to Snot having less than perfect morale. And while that can sometimes be an indicator of setting yourself up at disadvantage, it’s not always the be all, end all of the things to take into consideration. For this one, Donkey was on the right track when he mentioned that Snot was the older fighter and probably had the advantage in physicals. I believe that was probably true, and probably had a lot to do with Snot fending off takedown after takedown over the opening minute of this match. And Snot paid attention to what it would take to win this…as Donkey said, “…should have quite the advantage in physicals, so if he can end this one early without being taken down, he has a shot.” That’s exactly what happened, Snot prevented the takedowns, and ended this one early after just a little over a minute in! Snot shrugged off all of Makarovich’s takedown attempts, and most times paid him back with a shot in return to make those eyes water and think twice about the next one. Finally, Snot’s power took over, he landed a big right hand to send Makarovich down, then waived him back up so he could finish it with a straight right down the middle to connect with Makarovich’s jaw. Out…cold…baby! Not quite right on this one were ya Donkey…? Donkey’s Takeaways: Snot certainly came out and proved me wrong on this one. Apparently pressing your luck too many times does NOT end up with a whammy, at least not in this one. Or at least, not for him, but Makarovich certainly got the whammy put on him! Ouch, brutal KO, a beauty, and it may have just stolen KO of the night from the fight prior to this! For Makarovich, here’s the downside to his plan...five takedown attempts, three clinch attempts, all failed. Nothing else, no mixing it up, nothing to keep Snot guessing. ********* Co-Main Event Lightweight CSS Round 1: #3 vs. #6 Tua Graves Defeats Conor Notorious via Submission (Americana) Whoa!!! Too funny here Donkey! I remember when we were discussing this one, you were pretty adamant about taking Graves via submission. And you even toyed with it being via Americana. But instead, you went back to the old bread and butter armbar! Well, shoulda gone with the gut buddy! This one went sideways for Notorious right away. He needed to keep this one standing as he appears to have almost no ground skills with less than useful wrestling and a white belt in BJJ. Unfortunately, Graves made the first move from the bell, and it was a takedown attempt that couldn’t have been more successful! That meant Trouble, with a capital T for Notorious! An arm triangle attempt…nope, not there yet…a little ground and pound to lighten up the mood. Then a kimura try…nope, still not there, ok, here’s a little elbow love and a few strikes to put you in the loving feeling. In the mood for a kimura yet? No…ok, let me give you a few shots from side control that show I care. Now, maybe the Americana? Oh! There we go, you like that one, good, let’s get out of this cage and go to dinner! I think that’s how it went Donkey…? Donkey’s Takeaways: I don’t quite think that was the play by play there Hare. But, it was the end result, and it happened fast. I definitely want to see what Notorious can do with his standup in the future, but at the same time, if he can’t defend the takedown this is how it’s going to go against somebody like Graves I think. It’s the call I expected, it’s the call that came. Nice job by Graves, he knew where he could win it, and he took it there immediately. And now he moves on to the semi-finals of the Sorter Series! ********* Main Event Lightweight CSS Round 1: #5 vs. #13 Bobolo Jubbly Defeats Valery Bokov via Unanimous Decision We never got to find out if Bokov might try to keep this one on the feet rather than going to the ground. He has skills there, but knowing that Jubbly also has potentially better skills there, we weren’t sure if he’d try to stay up or go with another approach. However, for three rounds in a row, Jubbly initiated the takedown and got it not long after the bell! If this went to the ground, we expected a war, and a war we got! Donkey said it might be, “a clinic in ground game and specifically Jiu Jitsu!”, and that was definitely the correct call! In the first round, Jubbly got the takedown, and then initiated project “subspam”, attempting a total of 13 submissions over the course of those 5 minutes. Wow. And yet, Bokov fended off all of them! Round 2 comes, and heading towards the two minute mark, Jubbly gets the takedown again. But not before burning off quite a few attempts that were unsuccessful, and I have to admit I thought this might be the tipping point that would potentially tire Jubbly out and give Bokov his shot! Once down, Bokov threw in a sub attempt of his own and an eventual reversal. Jubbly gets his sub shots in also, with two that are again fended off! They stand up at one point, then back to the ground and trade off a couple sub attempts each. Round 3 ended up a lot like Round 1, a Jubbly takedown followed by Jubbly sub-spam. Unfortunately, by this time the fans were tired of the same ole, same ole and started letting them know it as the boo-birds came out to play. Turns out, Jubbly was able to stay active enough and dominate the action in Rounds 1 and 3 that he took those, while Bokov got Round 2. What about it Donkey…? Donkey’s Takeaways: Well, the fans may not have liked the repetitive action, but you really do have to be impressed with Bokov’s ability to refuse to submit over the course of all that time on the ground and so many attempts by Jubbly! It’s amazing that this thing went the distance, and that just speaks to the defensive skills on display! Nicely done, I’d like to see how this goes if they meet again in the future! Jubbly moves on in the Sorter Series though with this decision! ********* So there we have it Sucker Punch fans! Welp, the Lightweights gave us more than a bit of fun the other night and we can’t thank the managers and fighters enough! No doubt, the fans had a great night out as well and will be back looking for more in the upcoming Sucker Punch Pro Series cards! It was a fun one, and as we say, till next time… Keep it cheap and dirty…Sucker Punch Pro Series 355k+ style!

  28. Nathan Dylan about next 170 title fight: - WTF is this?! When Armand Hammer was a legit champ? That guy can t fight serious now. He is a mediocre fighter who foughted nobody. He lost to Ryo Hamada and Death Minister and has some wins over guy like Matt Oduun. And now he will fight Samart Payakaroon? That thai boxer deserve to fight for the title and I hope he will beat Armand because i wanna fight both of them depends on what order we start. If Armand loose I will like to beat him to and after i beat Armand I just wanna see who is more effective then who, me or Samart. I don t have his thai box skills but i have some nice low kicks and my stand up is better then him I guess. Or! I can fight them in 2 days, I start with Armand and next day with Buakaw wanna be. I am glad to be here, maybe my dreams will come true and I will have that super fight that I looking for.

  29. President of Publishing's Column "...yea but did he mention the time Grigol beat the shit out of Nixon!" screams G Wad into his phone. "No! Self-serving &%@# comes into my thread to beat his chest. I AM THE PRESIDENT OF PUBLISHING!" G Wad throws the phone across the room. G Wad's mood has soured. The filet mignon his team of chefs prepared turns to ash in his mouth. Just earlier today, it wasn't like that. G Wad was pleased and riding high after blowing the lid off of not one but two major Tycoon conspiracies in last week's edition. Champion manager, tournament king, legend of the game and now soon-to-be Pulitzer Prize winning journalist. The enthusiasm displayed by the entire Synchronicity team has been overwhelming and only deepens G Wads drive to bring the community the latest and greatest breaking news and commentary. It was surprising earlier in the week, to G Wad, to receive a call from Alex M with an altogether unexpected message. "G Wad, mate. Youre doing great work. I know a guy who knows a guy that works with Quinten Tarantino. Im gonna use my connections to get you a meeting, The world needs to see your talent" said Alex. "By the way, don't worry about this weeks event, you've earned a break" he continued. "Out of the question! My loyalty lies with the people of this great organization" said G Wad, flatly refusing. "They depend on me to bring them the very cutting edge. Tarantino can suck a fat one." G Wad is, of course, tireless and not one to rest on his laurels. Besides, G Wad had already booked a non-refundable coach ticket to meet up with his targets or rather subjects, of this weeks piece. G Wad is going to visit Louie DePalma, who had assembled a few members of his ragtag team of Keyboard Warriors for a special interview. G Wad knows Louie well. G Wad has battled Louie on 11 occasions. Louie has only tasted victory once. This weeks Syn headliner is a real treat as Latka Gravas, the Syn welterweight champion, managed by Louie, takes on Syns lightweight champion Elgin Turner, managed by fellow KW Lucky Lefty. /// G Wad flies to LA. Flying coach is beyond unbearable. G Wad wonders if installing a jacuzzi in his private jet is worth going a week without the luxuries hes accustomed to. The cretinous flight attendant has stuck him next to a disgusting fat woman and a sniveling kid who keeps biting his fingernails. G Wad arrives in LA tired, annoyed and altogether uncomfortable. He pulls up outside Louies HQ. There appears to be a bit of a crowd assembled. G Wad steps out to get a closer look. Over a loudspeaker he hears "Tonal is the great fighter in the history of mankind!" Pushing his way through the crowd he sees... Yes, yes it is. Its Mentor, shouting into a bullhorn aimed at Louies gym. G Wad looks around. Besides, Mentor, who is sporting a designer Italian jacket with his hair slicked back, the crowd is packed with unkept hobos. G Wad spots a table to the side of the rally distributing soup which appears to be drawing more attention than Mentor himself. Mentor spots G Wad and excitedly approaches, positioning himself between G Wad and the door to Louies. "G Wad! You came to cover me?" he asks, beaming. "What? Are you... no. It's a big week for Syn, I've come to talk to Louie and Lefty." "Oh" says Mentor, the expression on his face dropping for an instant. "Do you know how old GAMMA is?" he proceeds, a flicker of light coming back to his eyes. "Yea, isn't it like..." "11 years old. Oldest continuously held organization in the fight game" proceeds Mentor. "What do you think about that." "That's great, Mentor" says G Wad, feigning interest. "No, I mean what do you think about that as a topic. To discuss? Would be great to share that in your widely read column." "Yea, Im not sure it would really be appropriate, man. You know its supposed to be about Syn" says G Wad, exasperation growing. "Do you know how many top managers are fighting in GAMMA?" "Mentor, come on man, I don't have time for this. Let me get by" says G Wad. "Okay, okay, just let me keep telling people my alliance helped get you into the HoF and Ill let you through" pleads Mentor. "Really dude?" "Please?" "Fine, whatever" says G Wad. "Wow, what a piece of work" he thinks, pushing his way through. /// After entering, G Wad is directed to the second floor and enters a large meeting room where he finds the two men hes traveled far to see, Louie DePalma and Lucky Lefty, sitting on a couch in the middle of the room. Behind and to the left of the couch is a large bar with a wide assortment of drinks. G Wad takes a seat in a smart yet comfortable chair directly in front of the couch. "Would you like to help yourself to a drink?" asks Lefty. "No thanks, I'm working" replies G Wad. "Say, what was all that about outside." "What? Oh yea. Mentor is here pretty much every weekend, just kind of used to it by now. But I cant criticize him too much, his rallies have helped feed the homeless all these years" says Louie. "So that's what that crowd was. Interesting. I guess it is true, he is good for the community" says G Wad. "I suppose so" Louie chuckles. G Wad is starting to feel more at ease. Part of his eagerness for this assignment was to stroll down memory lane with Louie. "It's been a while since we've seen each other hasn't it? Last time must have been 3 years ago at Syn 530. The Chief beat your boy Fook Man if I recall correctly, hehe" G Wad says. "I vaguely..." begins Louie. G Wad interrupts Louie, chuckling "where did that one put me? Up 9-1-1 against you?" Louie is about to speak but G Wad has momentarily lost himself and continues, savagely. "And who could forget that time you were you accused of bribing a judge with your sexual wiles to try to beat me?" "You can't disrespect my alliance leader like that! a voice from behind the bar squeaks" startling G Wad. "Who's there? Is someone hiding behind the bar?" asks a startled G Wad, directing his question towards Louie and Lefty. "I wasn't hiding!" squeaks the voice. G Wad watches as a small hand reaches up to grab a martini glass perched on the top of the bar. He then hears a shuffling of feet as a tiny body exits the side of the bar, becoming visible and proceed towards the couch. Its none other than May 2020 Syn manager of the Month Aylib! I was just getting a drink he says, putting his glass on a small table in front of the couch. Lefty lends a hand to give Aylib a boost onto the couch. "Me and my fellow army of pygmies wont put up with any disrespect" says Aylib. "Team Alpha Midget strong!" "It's OK Aylib, G Wad is just having some fun" says Louie. "Shall we talk about the card this weekend, G Wad?" he asks. "Sure, of course. Lets get down to business" says G Wad. "Champion versus champion, friend versus friend, this should be an interesting..." G Wads phone rings. It's Bjorn. This isn't a good time. But G Wad hasn't been able to get his phone repaired after the regrettable incident earlier when he lost his temper. The screen is all cracked and the touchpad isn't registering correctly. G Wad is furiously pressing to turn it off but he accidentally answers the call. "Hullo? G Wad?" says Bjorn. G Wad tries to hang up. He'll explain the circumstances to Bjorn later, surely he'll understand. OH NO! G Wad seems to have put it on speaker phone! "G Wad, I just wanted to thank you for your very kind help. The doctor you recommended me to has been most helpful" says Bjorn, as the entire room listens on. "My stool has been solid for 3 days in a row!" "Jesus" says Louie, putting his face into his hand. "Bjorn, listen, please hang up. I can't talk now" says G Wad, assertively. "But G Wad, I have several other things I would like to...." says Bjorn G Wad chucks his phone out the window. He watches for a few seconds as a dozen hobos scramble to claim it. "Sorry about that, where were we?" G Wad ask, returning to his seat. "The fight, we were talking about the fight" says Lefty, rolling his eyes. "Right, right. Latka versus Elgin" says G Wad. "Louie, what do you think about going head to head against your alliance mate, Lefty?" "Let me put it this way, Lucky's gunna be unlucky on June 13th" says Louie, grinning and looking quite proud of himself. "It should be a good fight" says Lefty. "Latka's got some power but I think Elgin can take him." "It's because his name is Lucky Lefty" says Louie, still grinning. "We'll see if Elgin can test Latka on the ground, that may decide the fight" says Lefty. "I think that's all I need for my story" says G Wad. "It's been a pleasure, thank you for having me." The men stand up. G Wad shakes hands with Louie and Lefty and then gives Aylib a pat on the head, ruffling his hair at the end to the little tyke's delight. G Wad had a good time hanging out with old pals. G Wad looks on Louie as an equal. Not an equal in terms of fighting of course, since G Wad is 9-1-1 against him, but in the all around good guy kinda way. All in all, it was an interesting day. //// Syn 692 Turner vs. Gravas Fight breakdowns Elgin Turner vs. Latka Gravas The Synchronicity lightweight and welterweight champs go head to head in one of the most exciting fights of the month. These fighters are in the prime of their careers and this fight could determine which can make a run towards the Hall of Fame moving forward. What else is there to say? G Wad leans towards Latka. Latka has had chin issues in the past but G Wad doesnt think that will be an issue with Elgin. Look for Latka to win the standup and cruise to victory. Prediction: Latka Gravas by Decision (Unanimous) Tapani Kansalainen vs. Ernest Graves Finnish Thai Kickboxer Tapani Kansalainen, managed by Marky Mark, squares off against Ernest Graves, managed by Arthur Vandelay in the lightweight division. Its a striker versus matchup, Ernest will do whatever he can to get this fight to the ground as he won't be able to compete with Tapani standing. Ernest is an elite grappler but his chin has been vulnerable in the past. G Wad hates to say it but this is a striker's game, Tapani will be able to run back to his sauna with his head held high. Prediction: Tapani Kansalainen by TKO (Strikes) in Round 2 Vadim Golovkin vs. Hiroshi Ekaku G Wad has been told there are millions of dollars on the line in this featherweight matchup. Golovkin, managed by Blake Phoenix, is visiting from PFC, to take on Hiroshi Ekaku, managed by Chris Karter. Lets see if Ekaku can give Vadim the good ol Syn welcome we're famous for. Golovkin, at the ripe age of 27, is just starting to come up the ranks. G Wad notes he still has a lot to prove in the big leagues. Meanwhile, Ekaku made his first appearance at Syn almost two years ago and has fought some of the best in the world with inconsistent, at best, success. At the end of the day, G Wad wonders how a guy that's just gone 2-5 at some lesser orgs has the gall to think he can win in Syn. Prediction: Hiroshi Ekaku by KO (Punch) in Round 2 Gennady Mikhasevich vs. Ispa Mfer FinnFighter sensei Jorma Otsu leads welterweight Ispa Mfer in a battle against Jamal Jamison's Gennady Mikhasevich. Ispa refuses to win without a finish and G Wad respects that. Ispa sports great power and a decent chin, but does he have what it takes to advance up the leaderboards? First he needs a few wins at Syn under his belt, including this one against a tricky Belarussian who put the late, great Remi Highjack into retirement. On paper, this is Ispas to lose, says G Wad. Prediction: Ispa Mfer TKO (Strikes) in Round 1 Remy Valentine vs. Mush Mouth Jeg Grackson's Mush Mouth takes on Louis Princip's Remy Valentine. In this fight well see two old, fatass men trade some blows and attempt to get past round one. In all likelihood they will not succeed with the latter. It's essentially a coin flip on which mound of flesh can smash into the other sooner and harder. G Wad flips. Its tails. Prediction: Mush Mouth by KO (Punch) in Round 1 Herbert Mullin vs. Jackson Spinks Leonardo Ferreira Jackson Spinks, managed by Manuel Salad Tosen will be put to the test against Anti Kristus' lightweight Herbert Mullin. Spinks is a versatile fighter with dangerous skills both standing and on the ground. On the other hand, G Wads a little concerned that Mullin may not have had the chance to round out his skills yet, especially grappling skills which will surely be crucial for his survival in this fight. This is Convicted vs. FinnFighters people G Wad is rooting for the ref. Prediction: Draw Peter Narz v Watch Out Ronaldo Aspiring architect Arthur Vandelay makes his second appearance on the card to see if he can draw up a win for his featherweight Peter Narz against Prince Mitchell's Watch Out Ronaldo, who's reppin the Stepdads. Cast aside by Team Alpha Midget, this is Watch Out Ronaldo's third fight under new management, hell need a couple more good wins to demonstrate his Stepdad worthiness. Narz has seen a certain level of success over his career but just has not yet been able to crack into the elite level so far. Narz will try to get this to the ground, but even if he does, will that be enough? Prediction: Watch Out Ronaldo by Decision (Unanimous) Super Meat Boy vs. Like Boss A true fan favorite, descended from one of the most celebrated entertainers in Tycoon history, Super Meat Boy looks to dazzle the crowds under the new management of Bradley Burns. His first fight under the Burn's banner will be against Like Boss, managed by Harleton Dambara. These boys bring the power. My sources tell me Super Meat Boy is hungry. Will Super Meat Boy stamp out a new legacy? Will he devour Boss whole? Yes, says G Wad. Prediction: Super Meat Boy by KO (Punch) in Round 1 Sol Kwon vs. Spencer Rubenstein Battle in the light heavyweight division as Sol Kwon, managed by Mateusz Buchholz, takes on Spencer Rubenstein, managed by Randall McSweeney. Kwon has seen reasonable success so far under Buchholz's management, going 2 of 3 since stepping up to Syn. Kwon has shown great power throughout his career and will be looking to go in for the kill against Rubenstein who hasn't yet experienced the sweet taste of victory in his first two fights at Syn. G Wad doesn't see a lot to separate the fighters, it could really go either way. G Wad is but an unbiased commentator. He roots for power and power has manifested itself in Kwon. Prediction: Sol Kwon by KO (Punch) in Round 2 Russell Northrop vs. Troy Hooper In the final fight of the card, two fighters on the tail end of their careers, Russell Northrop from the camp of Rabid Wolf fights Troy Hooper, who, at 42 years old, just moved to Sam Fairfax's management. Northrop has won one of his last 11 fights. No, you did not read that wrong. That being said, he has had the honor of losing to some of the most decorated fighters out there from our headliner Elgin Turner to Paul Warrior and Orlando Diggs. While the days of competing with the best of the best appear to be behind the chinny welterweight, he must feel he has a decent chance of success against his aging competitor. To have a chance against Hooper, Northrop will need to take this to the ground, where he excels, but even then there is no guarantee. Sorry Northrop, we all like an underdog but G Wad just calls em like he sees em. Prediction: Troy Hooper by TKO (Strikes) in Round 3

  30. If you are not a VIP you won’t see the intermediate points that 10thPlanet was talking about. The lower the skill the faster it trains. A useless (1) skill should become abysmal (2) in a few days, depending on gym and coach quality. Maybe 2 days if you’re lucky. A wonderful (12) skill could become exceptional (13) in a week. Really you want VIP and the tycoon assistant page to get a close look at how your fighter is learning.

Both fighters gave the inebriated crowd what they wanted which was a stand up war! Most of Banoffee punches missed as he swung wildly but when they connected Chukwu felt his power. Banoffee knocked Chukwu down once for every minute of the fight. The first time with a beautiful combination, scond time with a big right hand, & the third time with a devastating uppercut. After being sent down to the concrete over & over, Chukwu got back up every time & still was competitive. While Chukwu was versatile with his striking throwing both punches & kicks, it was his leg kicks in particular that Banoffee didn't seem to have an answer for. After taking 12 unchecked leg kicks, both of Banoffee's legs were in bad shape leaving him hobbling about but still game to fight. It was a tough call but the split decision was given to Banoffee based on the significance of the knockdowns. Once the fight was over & the adrenaline had worn off both fighters had to be assisted out of the parking garage & both were taken to the local hospital due to the damage sustained in the fight. Knockout of the Night http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w24.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/images/flags_small/United_States_of_America.png Sam Winchester (1-1) TKO (Knees) / 31 seconds Sam Winchester showed the Florida crowd how effective Muay Thai can be in a street fight & man did they appreciate it! Both fighters exchanged a couple of punches but nothing significant. Once Winchester was in range he immediately went for the Thai Plum forcing his opponent up against the door of a Black Escalade & unloaded a big knee straight up the middle which bloodied & dropped his opponent. Winchester let him back up but once again put him right back in the Thai Plum. Winchester's opponent tried to arch his back to avoid the incoming knees but as they kept pouring on the referee jumped in to stop it. It was a little early of a stoppage but Winchester wasn't stopping anytime soon. Bad news for both fighters was they received a bill for the body work on the Escalade they dented. Tough break.

  35. Legendary manager, Synchronicity President of Publishing and soon-to-be Pulitzer Prize winner G Wad calls an impromptu press conference. G Wad http://www.cafdn.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/media-microphones.png Crowd: It’s him it’s him! G Wad, G Wad over here! G Wad: Yes, you. Go. Short reporter: Astonishing stuff you revealed last week. We’re all on the edge of our seats. Are there any updates on the story? You left us with quite the cliffhanger. G Wad: That’s the nature of the business on occasions. I’m here to report. Not everything has a nice, pretty conclusion. Everyone here should know that. Short reporter: But what of Marcus Crassus AKA Peel Steel? What is his condition? G Wad: I’ve been kindly requested not to share his location and I aim to honor that. Suffice to say he is safe, finally. I’m afraid it will be a long road to rehabilitation and recovery. He thus far refuses to part with his toga. Crowd: G Wad, Gwad! G Wad: You, fire away. Goth reporter: How do you respond to accusations that your Synchronicity “previews” are nothing more than thinly veiled attempts to spread anti-Finland propaganda? G Wad: We all tell our own truths. Goth reporter: OK. But what about your co-worker Bjorn, how does he feel about your writing? G Wad: Bjorn and I have a great working relationship. Just today, I recommended him to a world-class gastroenterologist who treated my sickly grandmother years ago. By now I’m sure you all know about his unfortunate stomach condition. He was so thankful he could have shed a tear. In fact, he did. Although, to be fair, that may have been due to the lamb vindaloo he ate for lunch. Fat Reporter: Will you be writing another column this week G Wad? G Wad: Of course, the people demand it. Next. Skinny reporter: Tell us more about your upcoming column! G Wad: I will be visiting the Keyboard Warrior boys as Louie DePalma and Lucky Lefty compete in a clash of titles at Syn 692. It will be a fun one. Stay tuned.

Latrobe is currently the MMAT P4P Number 1, which makes Inferno and Ma Balls Is Hot very proud of our long association with this great fighter This is Blasts 3rd title fight and title win in the Inferno organization, since joining Inferno as champ from CEC This was a great fight by two exceptional fighters. Blast started well as always in a firefight of a first round where both fighters were landing telling strikes. Blast just got the points but picked up a nasty cut at the same time The second round was just a fraction less violent but still all action with Blast managing to protect his cut but Boretti just shading it to take the round Round three was another very aggressive round from both fighters although neither fighter was landing clean shots. This was likely due to excellent physical attributes and sound defensive skills of both fighters. Boretti shaded the 3rd round is up 29-28 Round 4 opened with Blast dropping Boretti with a vicious head kick. Boretti got back to his feet visibly shaken and Blast landed a highlight reel KKO to finish this brutal war What we really like here is not just the skills and the sheer violence but the heart. Hottest fighter doesnt always get the win but he keeps going to the end. Excellent heart and guts shown by Latrobe and Mario 20000 dollars has been sent to Blasts manager Action Jackson from the Yabai alliance (another Yabai fighter ?? )

Dilbrandt, the taller, heavier fighter rushed forward aggressively trying to grab a hold of Pizzorno but the rain made it nearly impossible. However, the poor visibility didn't seem to be a hindrance to Pizzorno as all of his punches hit their mark. Pizzorno already having rocked Dilbrandt earlier in the fight sent his opponent crashing into the mud with a series of combos. Pizzorno pursued him onto the ground looking for a finish. Pizzorno tried all he could to finish the fight with a flurry of punches & elbows from the half guard but they either hit the air or the mud. Dilbrandt hung in there on the defensive & even attempted a Guillotine that was easily escaped. The fight ended shortly after that with a clear, concise winner. I see a rematch in the future for these young stars in the making. Knockout of the Night http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/20/20a1.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/images/flags_small/Russian_Federation.png Khizri Aliyev (1-1) KO (punch) / 47 seconds Aliyev's opponent attempted several takedowns at the start of the fight. In these grappling exchanges, Aliyev was shoved right into the protective fencing mere feet away from the dangerous, electrical transformers. Sensing the real danger he was in, Aliyev stepped on the gas & rocked his opponent with punches ending it with a massive overhand right leaving his Canadian opponent facedown in the mud. Submission of the Night http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10b13.jpg http://mmatycoon.com/images/flags_small/Canada.png Isaiah "Filthy" Laughlin (3-2) Kimura / 57 seconds While the poor weather conditions didn't favor grappling much at this event somebody forgot to tell Isaiah Laughlin. After getting hit with a body shot & a big left hand, Isaiah changed levels & drove through with a really nice takedown into side control. No so good for them was they managed to plow through & partially slide under the chain link security fence with both guys getting all cut to hell in the process. Despite the slickness of the blood & rain water, Isaiah fished for armlocks until finally getting a good Kimura grip & finishing the hold tapping out his opponent.

Soon after, Wartime went in for the takedown. After Lee attempted to sprawl, they landed in the grass up against the house. Wartime smashed his opponent with elbows & punches from the half guard until Lee was unconcious. The crowd loved this one! The homeowner however did not... "Ay man ya'll chippin' my paint all up & shit muthafuckas!!!" Knockout of the Night http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b17.jpg Darren Williams (2-0) TKO (strikes) / 28 seconds Darren wasted no time showing the out-of-shape South African who the stronger man was, clinching up with him, & slamming him up against the house. Williams fired off a variety of punches in the clinch until unloading a massive uppercut causing De Swardt to fall to his knees. De Swardt, already out of it, took a few more blows until the ref jumped in. The home owner commented "Damn I didn't think y'all be fightin' on my house & shit, fuck". Submission of the Night http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15w20.jpg Frankie "Lickety Split" Fellatio (2-0) Armbar / 2 minutes 24 seconds After avoiding several clinch attempts from Archer, Fellatio shot in with a beautiful double leg & ended up in half guard. You would think that after a minute or two of grappling outside in the Florida heat would make most submissions a little tricky but Fellatio decided to go for a risky armbar from mount. The risk paid off as he forced Archer to tap. After the fight the home owner shouted to the crowd "YOOO he took mans down right where my dog go boo boo!" This was confirmed after the fight as Archer could be seen getting his back hosed down & cleaned up by an elderly neighbor. Gross. Neenan, who was making his debut, showed no concern about his opponent's experience as they faced off. Neenan completely outclassed the Nigerian in the boxing exchanges showing off his crisp, accurate technique. Moments after knocking Mvarre down with an uppercut, Neenan finished the job with a big straight right hand ending Mvarre's unbeaten streak. Word is Mvarre fell on a rusty nail & had to be treated for tetanus. Not good not good at all. Knockout of the Night http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15853680833425.jpg Sturn Slugger (1-0) KO (punch) / 17 seconds When Sturn Slugger made his way through the crowd & squared off with Arkadiusz Burdon, everyone couldn't help but laugh. Several audience members loudly ridiculed him with one man shouting "Who is this Mortal Kombat lookin' muthafucka *HAHAHA*" 17 seconds later, nobody was laughing... After feeling each other out with a couple strikes, Slugger cracked Burdon with a big right hand knocking him down into the clay. Bleeding & on wobbly legs, Burdon was beckoned back to his feet by Slugger. Credit to Burdon as it didn't deter him from still throwing punches & attempting to fight back. Unfortunately for Burdon he ducked a jab & got nailed with an uppercut straight from the Netherrealm. If Burdon didn't get knocked out by the punch he certainly would have been from hitting his head on a cement mixer on the way down. Ouch.

  39. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15855320618087.png Arkadiusz Burdon Burdon comes from a working class Catholic family from Gdansk. Known for praying with a rosary before he enters the cage, he decided that there was more money to be made cagefighting in the States. Burdon taught himself enough broken english to taunt his opponents in cage, and signed with the highly unsanctioned and brutal Florida Fight Squad, hoping to one day achieve gold and glory in Synchronicity!

  41. You are more than welcome too! That would be pretty neat. I can always go back and edit the post to add the updated picture. Also, I'm in need of an org logo & banner if you are up to the challenge.

  44. I actually already tried to sign them before you posted this. It won't let me sign your fighters, along with a couple others saying that your friends/family/etc. Very frustrating.

  47. Great to see all these orgs popping up, seems like the perfect place for the most eccentric 360k characters. I'll have a guy made for here soon!
