  1. TOURNAMENT UPDATE - 1st January 2022 Today is the day we finalise teams and fighters. I think most guys from most alliances have already been signed up but there are a few still to go so hopefully can get that sorted asap. We had a last minute addition to the tournament bringing us up to 13 teams which isn't the greatest number for sure. I've reached out to one alliance to see if we can't get a last minute team out of them but otherwise, unless another team steps forward today, it'll likely be a bit of a strange format this year. I'll post a little more about that later and anyone who cares can have their say. So, from here, the plan is to get everyone confirmed and signed up so we know EXACTLY what we're working with. Once we know that, I will do the live draw in the discord channel that I'll make and that will be done likely next weekend (8th/9th Jan) Once draw is done, I will generate the schedule and begin to send the fight offers out. Fight round of fights is still February 6th 2022. Any questions/confusion please ask. Cheers all and Happy New Year!

  6. Ladies, Gentlemen, and you uneducated YouTube boxing fans welcome to the prefight round up for what I am just going to call the Great Saturday Slaughter. We are having two, two, not one but two full fight cards tonight. That is 40 fighters giving you part of their souls for your drunken entertainment. All right let’s see who we have out in the crowd for this fight card, hey that is one of the Logan brothers, the downsy looking one that thinks he can box and swears he has CTE from fighting scripted fights against non-boxer, Jake, Jill, John crap I don’t know I just know he is annoying. We got Brad Pitt pit here, holy crap that is unexpected. Nooo, wait that is his stunt doubles twin brother. But most of the drunks here don’t know that he has been signing autographs all night. VFC 2 The New Years Bash at Paddy O’Malleys Bar Angus Graham (1-0) vs Gergen Press (0-1) Light Heavyweights Gergen Press verse Angus Graham. Gergen Press whose pro debut was ruined by Tsakos Lidellos (1-0) has a solid chin, yeah, he was TKOed, but the referee had to stop the fight there is no quit in this guy. Will fight Graham who is a more active aggressive fighter; I know it’s weird he is a Canuk who normally are as aggressive as cold maple syrup, but he threw 124 strikes in his last fight and showed some toughness in being rocked and cut and still grinding out the win vs Fred Hoyle. I am thinking Graham takes this fight, I just like his aggressiveness, the man said he will fight anyone at any time. He means it, he said he would fight his mom if she called him out. We will see how that goes over the course of his career, there are fighters and then there are smart fighters. Ryu Uska (0-0) vs Sean Murphy (0-0) Sean Murphy is having his pro debut hailing out of Killarney Ireland. This want-a-be Conor McGregor is a stand-up fighter who ground game is almost as bad as his ability to speak clear English. Seriously, its like he has marbles in his mouth and has been pounding Proper 12s like they are Gatorade. He is taking on Ryu “Rage” Uska is also making his pro debut, fighting out of Japan Rage brings a very strong ground game being one of the few brown belts in his division, but is really at this point in his career not an MMA fighter but a BJJ grappler trying to get his opponent on the ground before he gets knocked out. Shaun Fistle (0-0) vs Kevin “KC” Carol (0-0) For this heavyweight fight we got Shaun Fistle who likes used to be a bare-knuckle fighter making his MMA debut against Kevin “KC” Carol who is a kickboxer from Dallas. Both fighters are making their debuts in what looks to be a good standup war. KC has about 20 more pounds on him that Fistle, but I am not sure it is solid gym muscle, he looks like he has been hanging out at Five Guys to much. Bob Crawley (0-0) vs Clint “Arrow Shield” Rogers (0-0) We got Bob Crawley a kickboxer from Belgium facing off against Clint “Arrow Shield” Rogers a striker from parts unknown in America. Okay seriously what the hell, classified parts in America? You mean a trailer park on the outskirts of town? So basically, you’re from 8-mile right and Arrow Shield? Your nickname is for a hunk of wood or metal that people sick arrows in? I am not even sure how to unpack that. I am going to need more alcohol for this fight card. VFC as an organization needs to start having media workshops with these fighters. I will also address the elephant in the room, yes when it is tall white people from Europe, we call it kickboxing and everyone else we call it Mauy Thai, is that racist? Probably, my money is on Bob. Bruno “BP” Ponce (0-0) vs Willis Smith (0-0) BP is a solid BJJ brown belt hailing from Seychelles. And to save you the Wikipedia search Seychelles is some tiny island off the coast of eastern Africa, that is either a dingle berry that fell out of Zanzibar, sorry Madagascar for those who don’t know their history or a pirate haven from Somali. But I digress BP makes his debut against fellow rookie Willis “Slick Willy” Smith. Smith is praying to keep this fight on its feet where he has a stark advantage. If it stays on its feet Slick Willy will murder BP, if it goes to the ground BP will be submitted in 30 seconds. Aiko “AK” Kinjo (0-0) vs Morgan Brew (0-0) Hailing from Mr. Miyagiland Okinawa AK is a wrestler that uses his base to keep the fight on his feet so he can smash his opponents. Okay, I am just going to say it, AK is 4’11 on a good day, he looks like someone brought their 10-year-old to work. If Morgan Brew doesn’t pick this kid up and yet him across the cage I am going to be pissed. His opponents Morgan Brew is a BJJ Brown belt hailing from Liverpool England. Morgan has about a 7-inch reach advantage, that he huge. To keep that in perspective, it’s the same advantage I have over most of you guys on tender. If this fight goes to the ground Morgan should be able to tap out AK, if he can manage to get a good grip on those midget limbs. Jimmy “The Ghost” Gavin (0-0) vs Emil Nikolov (0-0) Jimmy “The Ghost” Gavin a stand-up banger makes his pro debut against Emil Nikolov. Emil is also a standup fighter that is hoping to “Ghost” the Ghost. Holy crap I just said that someone needs to cut me off. Can someone get me some coffee I can’t be saying stupid crap like that this early in the day. Olu Banjo (0-0) vs Christopher Chan (0-0) Olu Banjo a Mauy Thai specialist from Nigeria is making his debut against fellow Mauy Thai specialist Christopher Chan. Christopher hailing from Hong Kong has spent some time in Thailand improving his clinch. Should be an interesting fight where someone gets knocked out. I feel like with all these Mauy Thai fights on the card I should do one of those drunk Joe Rogan rants how everyone should be using the steel Mauy Thai cups when the fight. When you know he only likes them because it feels like someone is squeezing the shit out of your nuts. Momofuku “Mr. Pot Noodle” Ando (0-0) vs Greg “The Goober” Doober (0-0) Mr. Pot Noodle is making his pro debut against Greg Doober. Ando is primarily a Mauy Thai fighter that is uses his outstanding reach to pepper fighters with high volume punches and then mixes in some power shots to surprise them. He is a like a low budget Nick Diaz, without the ground game, street cred, charisma, and neanderthal brow. Ando will face Greg “The Goober” Doober who is also making his pro debut tonight. Like Ando, Doober is a Mauy Thai specialist, but is also a blue belt BJJ practitioner. I have heard that Doober has been working hard on his clinch game at Hell’s Balls Training Center, we will see if we get some good fireworks from these two strikers. Barry “Baddy” Brady (0-1) vs Rowan “Mr.” Bean (0-1) We got Barry “Baddy” Brady, that’s right Barry calls himself “The Baddy”, not Killer B or B Squared but Baddy. Hopefully Baddy can recover from the beating he took from Hirata Hitoshi (1-0). He faces Rowan “Mr.” Bean a British Mauy Thai specialist that is also coming off a lost to Oscar Luna (1-0). This will be an interesting fight as they match up pretty well. But on a side note, we got Rowan “Mr.” Bean’s twin brother Mr. Bean making his pro debut later tonight as well at Wild Bob’s bar. VFC 2.5 New Year’s Afterparty at Wild Bob’s Bar Sergio Sergius (2-0) vs Jimmy Vegas (0-0) This first fight puts Sergio Sergius who has already knocked out both of his first two opponents in the first round against the rookie Jimmy Vegas. Sergio said he has been sharpening his elbows so he can cut up Jimmy’s pretty face. We will see how Jimmy fairs as he doesn’t specialize and any style and is well rounded but is giving up a lot of reach and power. Chuck Gracie (0-0) vs Oliver “OTown” Smith (1-0) Brazilian Chuck Gracie is making his cage debut where he has the skills to fight on his feet and be comfortable enough to take it to the ground. But like many Brazilians he is a good grappler but does not have a strong wrestling base that help take the fight and keep it on the ground. His opponent is Oliver “OTown” Smith who in his last fight took all of 5 seconds to disconnect Ned Bouillon from his soul. OTown is a very aggressive fighter that has C4 in his hands. At the weight ins he stated that he isn’t as rested as he was the last fight because he stayed up late this week watching the second season of The Witcher and that it may impact the fight allowing Chuck to make it about 32 seconds before getting put to sleep. Not going to lie, The Witcher is a good show, and my money is on OTown to cash a 50 on Chuck early. Richard “The Magician” Hall (2-0) vs Ryan “Rail Gun” Thompson (0-1) A featherweight fight that has The Magician who undefeated at 2-0 facing off against Ryan “Rail Gun” Thompson. Hall likes to take fighters down and pull them into deep water. As a legit brown belt with strong wrestling skills his game plan should be the same as his first two fights. Which sometimes is him getting the take down and laying on the opponent like a wet blanket until they make a mistake. The Rail Gun, who is an All-American wrestler, uses his skills to keep the fight on his feet so he can strike. If he can keep the fight on his feet and let his hands go, he stands a good chance, if it goes to the ground Ryan “Rail Gun” Thompson may come off the rails. Mr. Bean (0-0) vs Mike Schultz (0-0) Mr. Bean is kind of an unknown coming out of Consett England he is making his professional debut. He tends to keep the fight on his feet and dirty box his opponents from looking at his amateur fights. Mr. Bean is taking on another rookie debuting in Mike Schultz., Schultz will be looking to take the fight down and grind out a decision win. Not a lot to say about these two fighters, during their interviews they aren’t really pouring out charisma its basically milk toast vs mayonnaise, we are hoping they were just saving their energy for the cage. Steven Seagull (0-1) vs Aiden Murphy (0-0) Steven Seagull is hoping to make a bounce back from his last fight where he looked like the 80 something year old bloated piece of crap actor that shares his name. Fighting Aiden Murphy may not be the best recipe to get that easy win. Murphy is making his pro debut and is a grinding wrestler with a high motor, think Clay Guida style. Our only hope is that Murphy doesn’t fail his drug test and get a DQ for the fight. Seriously I interviewed him earlier and he smelled like bong water. Island Boe (0-0) vs Akil Paschal (0-0) Two debut fighters take their journey into the profession of Mixed Martial Arts. After this fight they can sit at the bar at the local TGIFs and talk about how their hands are registered lethal weapons. And how they could beat Logan Paul in a boxing match. Island Boe is one of our youngest Island Fighters and looks to dirty box Akil “Powerhouse” Paschal is looking to drag this fight to the matt and drop some ground and pound. This fight will be decided by who can dictate the fight. Ken “K-Fed” Fredricks (0-0) vs Jari Zero (0-0) Another fight with two first time MMA fighters busting their pro cherries. We got K-Fed who does resemble the very douchy original K-Fed from Britany Spears’ slow decent into hell chapters 1 and 2, stated he intends to keep the fight on its feet and destroy Jari. Jari wants to stand and bang with K-Fed at least that is what he was saying at the weight ins. Hellson Balls (0-0) vs Purple “The Muscle Toucher” Aki (0-0) Hellson a well-rounded mixed martial artist is making his pro debut against Purple Aki, it will be a interesting fight as Hellson well rounded and a solid 155er fighting Purple “The Muscle Toucher” Aki who is a wrestling-based Brit that is closer to be a 145er than 155er. Wait, is his nickname really “The Muscle Toucher”? What the hell he sounds like some sort of pedophile, who the hell wants to grapple with “The Muscle Toucher”? Let’s hope he isn’t grabbing any muscles on live TV tonight. I swear if this guy comes out tweaking his own nipples I am leaving. Gera GOI (0-1) vs Jonny “Arm” Bar (0-1) Gera is hoping to bounce back from a hard loss to Kenritsu Katsuyamakuroda (1-0), Gera stated he just had butterflies and was not used to the Island time zone coming from Japan. We like to call that some fantasy, he just got smashed. He will be fighting Jonny “Arm” Bar who is also hoping to bounce back from a submission loss to Kyree Suder (1-0). The Arm took that loss pretty hard as one of the more decorated BJJ fighters on the Island losing to a blue belt via a Guillotine choke has made him the but of many jokes at Fogwell’s Gym. Bar hops to drag Gera to the ground and I quote “Bend his ass in half”. Conan The Bavarian (0-1) vs John “D” Doe (0-0) Conan The Bavarian looks to rebound from his sound thumping from the current Champ as he tries to climb back up the ladder. In his last fight he just didn’t let his hands go, lets see if he has corrected that issue. He will face off against John Doe who is making his MMA debut. D is a mixed martial art who can take the fight anywhere while he is a tough New Yorker, he has not been tested like this before on the amateur circuit. Conan is one fight removed from fighter for the Championship and will be looking to get back there and fight for the strap.

  9. Igor Byhenikov Leading MMA Analyst Kilo Maluga (33-7) didn't even have to step inside the cage to beat Yago Steve (19-4) couple weeks ago when Yago Steve opted to practice clinchwork for 2 weeks at the age of 31 instead of fighting in the biggest fight in the game. It's a shame that he got instant shot again after embarrasing loss like that. Prediction: Kilo Maluga by KO

  10. Greetings everyone! Let's welcome the new year with another bangin' display of skill and talent in Caged Dragon FC - 15 MAIN CARD We'll start off the main card with Lee "The Viper" Garic vs Bertil Brutal. A true showman, "The Viper" has racked up consecutive awards (fight and KO) of the night in his previous outings and is looking to add another one against Brutal. Bertil Brutal on the other hand, will be debuting in CDFC and will look to make a statement with a brutal win against the Viper. The next bout will be between Conny Ponny and Bradley "Clubber" Wallace. Ponny is looking to start his career in CDFC with a win against Wallace. Ponny is an outstanding worker who has racked up points in his last two fights. He will look to wear down "Clubber" and have his hand raised at the end of the fight. On the other hand, Bradley Wallace, a boxer with a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jutsu is also looking to have his career on the win column against Ponny. It will be a surprise if he club Ponny in the ground or with his striking. Up next, a bout between Olaf "Knife" Ragnarsson and Toppo Damorning. Olaf Ragnarsson, coming off a dominant win on his previous outing, will be looking to do the same against Damorning. His striking is like watching a "Knife" slice through butter as he can easily cut someone's face with those brutal elbows and knees. Damorning on the other hand, has rebounded well after his debut loss. A solid wrestler with a brown belt on BJJ, he'll look to neutralize "Knife" by taking him to the ground. An exciting bout to look out for. And our co-main event of the evening will be two fighters with bombs in their hands. A bout between Sega "No Games" Genesis and Jarkko Ahola A solid debut from "No Games", he decimated his previous opponent with his solid boxing. He'll be looking to do the same against Jarkko Ahola, but easier said than done. Ahola, a solid boxer as well, will be looking to add Genesis to the list of victims from his KO punches. An exciting bout that is surely going to end up someone's face in the canvass. And our main event of the evening. A non-championship bout between Mike "Z-Man" Ziegler and the champion, Antonio "Eater of Worlds" Tarver. "Z-man" will face a heavy task facing off against the champion "Eater of Worlds". He's an outstanding wrestler and is the better striker between the two. He will likely want to have the fight kept standing as he'll be facing a very dangerous fighter in the ground. The Champion, Antonio "Eater of Worlds" has stepped up to the plate after his solid title-clinching victory against Palo. He's still undefeated at this point and will look to maintain his streak even in a non championship bout. He is a very dangerous fighter in the ground as said earlier, with a Brown Belt in BJJ. We'll see the champ's display of talent in the ground once again in this upcoming fight. UNDERCARD Uno Muerto vs David Skafte Sajit Dopinder vs Sean Stevenson Jeno Christ vs Kevin Jensen Efraim Diveroli vs Kaarlo Susi Floruit Biggus vs Will Hart And there you have it folks! We'll see you all after the new year!

  11. SYN 865 (C) Maluga vs Steve (1) Heavyweight Championship Title fight Would you be surprised if I right here made the prediction that Yago Steve (19-3) would be the one to overthrow the highly popular figure known Bloodbath, Kilo Maluga (32-7). Is it a farfetched idea to hold that Steve has the it factor to not only take away the title from Kilo but do it in the most devastating way possible? Odds makers have it that to make any profit on Kilo you would have to bet $1,000 but Yago is at a +245, in essence, another Underdog may shock the world this weekend and this preview may help you to see why. The Overthrower Yago Steve entered the SYN cage back in August. He shocked the audiences as he landed several shots against his first SYN opponent to put quickly put him to sleep. Critics claimed that it really was not that impressive that he was the tenth man to knockout Da Oxlade. So a month later he entered the SYN stage for his second time only to put on the most devastating knockout in his career when he landed a spinning backfist in the third round. BaBinski, who was favored to win that bout fell flat and Steve, had his hand raised quickly and the wagon of fans began to pile up. Win streak after win streak destroyed Yago began to be noticed by the champion in as a very real threat to the crown. Recently Yago Steve defeated Branca and Bee by knockout and has finally earned himself the title shot and I am not sure there is a more anticipated bout in the heavyweight division all year than this one. BloodBath has gone on a tear continuing to garner the affection of MMA Journalists, Critics, Fans, and even fellow fighters. Everyone has become a fan of Bloodbath who recently went to war with Vunipola. Week after week the 31 year old Heavyweight King is proving to the world why he is the absolute best in the world and why before it's To put an emphatic stamp on 2021, the Fighter of the Year nominee will undoubtedly aim to put Yago Steves highlight reel knockout win streak to an end with a big L as he usually does. Stepping into the cage this weekend is no different for Kilo who is always up against a guy who is on a multiple fight win streak and is expected to finally be the guy to stop Kilo, but they never are. Currently riding an eleven-fight win streak, the coldest personality in the fight game continues to dominate his opponents and win in shocking fashion. Kilo Maluga has fought the who's who of the heavyweight world and continues to welcome the very best, and most of these opponents do not escape the first round with Kilo. But has Kilo ever faced an opponent quite like Steve? That is a question of great debate. A former Camara fighter who has been knocking out the best that @Icon73 has tossed his way, the Overthrower is supremely confident that his opponent will be underestimating him and will eventually, like most of his opponents, put them to sleep. Rumors have circulated that Kilo Maluga has been more focused on his upcoming vacation after being so overworked in training camp for the last month that his mind may not be fully there. And after experiencing multiple strange phenomenon's due to the Columbian cartel and Sosa's alleged involvement, he may be looking to part ways to with his manager. Again, these are rumors, and we are unsure how much of it is actual. But after speaking with Yago Steves coaches they have shared with me he is going to be fighting in there as if it is life or death and wants to be the one guy who took the crown away from Kilo. The guy who was able to stop the Pirate. We find out this weekend. Who will be left standing. (C) Marceau vs Girard (1) Middleweight Championship Title fight In the trilogy for the two Frenchman let's just call it, the battle for the French King. Marceau and Girard fought long ago when they were both relatively new to mma and were as mentioned in my other writeup regarding these two, former friends and training partners. They went their separate ways and have never really rekindled their friendship and after Marceaus bloody finish over Girard stealing the Syn title, I do not expect this to ever change. In their last encounter Marceau landed nearly every shot he through and evaded most of Girards. Girard, although considered by a large amount of folks to be the favorite going into that bout, was proven to be not as good as his opponent that night. Marceau was a phenomenal athlete; his feints and head movement were on full display after working with high level kickboxers in preparation for that fight. Marceau caught Girard with a neck Kick that sent him crashing to the mat and even the referee let out an expletive when he watched Girard hit the mat like a sack of potatoes. After the fight Marceau went to go celebrate his win where he was paraded around club to club. "The middleweight king is alive is alive!" The chants from the French Fans throwing their fighter the praises as he scored that beautiful knockout. Across the town, Girard had gone straight to the gym that night of his loss and reportedly hit the bag for a few hours not allowing himself to accept the defeat, the loss of his title, the end of his win streak, and another man being considered the Hero of the French. Now the two are scheduled to start our year off in a trilogy matchup that should send shockwaves down the spines of countless viewers. I expect this to be the perfect precursor to the main event and do not believe for one second this fight goes to the judges. Expect heavy punches. Expect Head kicks. Expect more than anything one man having his hand raised and the other walking away murmuring to himself, Cest la Vie! (C) Axius vs Sitsongrit (1) Bantamweight Championship Title fight Gemellus Axius (27-17-2) is one of the most experienced MMA fighters in the game today. The 35-year-old from Imperial City recently took the crown from long time champion Wayne Williams. Axius, who used a barrage of strikes to get the decisive win now welcomes the former Combate Champion, Detkhunjon Sitsongrit (24-10-2) a fighter who is primarily known for his punches but is not afraid to kick it with his opponents. The two heavy hitters are the third main fight on the card and first of the three championship fights. Gemellus Axius, who, as previously stated, is making his first title defense believes that he has the output necessary to not only finish Sitsongrit but overwhelm him from bell to bell. The fast-paced striking nature that Axius has makes fight fans almost react a second after each shot is landed due to his speed being so high. Neither fighter has ever suffered a knockout themselves, but both have lost by decision so if we were to take this into consideration, I think it will be fair to say that as a fight fan we should expect this bout to go a full five rounds. If thats the case, understanding this fight is very likely to go to the judges you would have considered Axius the main favorite. His level of output in striking and diversity in landing strikes is literally next to none. From leg kicks to body kicks to clinch fighting, Axius does it all and he does it exceedingly well. In comparison, Sitsongrit has a very similar style of fighting as former Bantamweight Champion Williams and critics have claimed that we will see a very similar fight where Sitsongrit will miss a majority of his punches and Axius land shot after shot at will. To be fair, Sitsongrit is not Williams. Sitsongrit, the former Combate Champion, is looking to make an emphatic statement on his SYN debut and to lose this one will send him plummeting down the rankings. He knows that there will be a lot of mental pressure on Axius to prove he deserves to be the champion and that it was not a fluke. The two will begin engaging when the bell rings and I can share that this bout is tracking as the biggest Bantamweight Fight of all time as many SYN fans have been buzzing about it all week and watching countless youtube videos regarding this one.

  15. tbf what syn was able to do AFTER the "cheating" fiasco, merging the PFC rosters (RIP PFC) is milestone setting. post money glitch, accumulation of top talent is second to none regardless of state of the market. and not only org nominated here to benefit from free money syn will win this award this year, easily. to each his own though.

  16. Some guys like to mull the fight over before accepting. Maybe seeing if they can formulate a plan sliderwise with their mentor before accepting. I've let some sit until I come up with a gameplan. I'm always gonna make the best choice for my fighter before I give a damn about anyone else. Meh.
