  1. The All American Hero is here to save the tournament! Don Rockmuller
  2. He actually came out of that fight with 2 days injury too and now he is magically healed. There's some shamanistic voodoo shenanigans going on here. A couple of other fighters body seemed to have taken two days injury as 1 also. Going to be some heavy use of asterisks by the end of this

  4. Christmas Day Massacre - Day 2 Second day of fights shines a light on a few early contenders. Anwar Hussin's pitty patty gnp wrestling has won him a couple of fights though he looks pretty knackered now going into his next fight. Scumbag buttflopper Bernardo Cabral on the other hand looks fresh as a daisy. Hopefully someone smacks him in the chops real soon. The worlds hardest torso, Mr Torso has also managed to go 2-0 with another first round KO victory and stands amongst the top guys as well Mateusz Kieliszkowski who made waxy balls Jersey Turnpike look like a chump in their match up. On the opposite end of things we have the likes of River Waters who has already racked up a total of 18 injury days as well as Stanley Reynolds, Freaky Fister and Jokubas Antukis. These losers all share the bottom spot with records of 0-2. No one cares about the 1-1 guys right now.
  5. I have 2 slots on the 5th December and then every other day after that for a couple weeks (7th, 9th, 11th etc) Happy to host any test fights. Just make sure you provide your own test partner.
  6. River Waters (Thomas Edwards) = 10 Inj Anwar Hussin (Crazy Horse) = 6 Inj / 4 Cut Freaky Fister (Freaky Phantom) = 8 Inj Mauricio Nunes (Rodrigo Ferriera) = 5 Inj / 3 Cut Tarquin Doomwood (Bob Slay) = 5 Inj Stanley Reynolds (Scottie 2 Hottie) = 5 Inj Gordon Hunter (Rei) = 3 Inj / 2 Cut Jersey Turnpike (Rush Greyson) = 4 Inj Daroshev Faroshev (Johnny The Gunt) = 4 Inj Mateusz Kieliszkowski (McChicken Sandwich) = 4 Inj Paul Nichols (Alfred Winterbottom) = 3 Inj Santino Oliviera (Todd Westacott) = 2 Cut Mr Torso (Tycoon Judas) = 2 Inj Bernardo Cabral (John Pezao) = FRESH Sean Faolin (Jimmy Normal) = FRESH Jokubas Antukis (Jersey Inc.) = FRESH
  7. Christmas Day Massacre - Day 1 Too early to come to too many conclusions about the who’s who of the tournament but there’s definitely some fella’s you wouldn’t want to spill their pint in a crowded pub. Jersey Turnpike might be a double hard bastard even though he looks like a bro who waxes his balls. He battered some butt flopping BJJ brown belt who tried to throw a punch in just sixteen seconds. Mr. Torso also looks like one tough stump. 170Lbs of pure torso and arms, it’s no wonder he was able to get the quick KO win over Gordon Hunter in just thirteen seconds. Three fighters managed to come through the round unscathed. Bernardo Cabral who butt flopped over his opponent Sean Faolin suffered no cuts or injuries but then again neither did his opponent who will at least have that to be happy about. The other lucky bastard to suffer no ill was Lithuanian mad man Jokubus Antukis. He may have lost the bout but at least he managed to give his opponent Santino Oliviera a little gift from their encounter. A nice two day cut for him to take into his next fight.
  8. Congrats to Freako Wimp! The champion of the first Alfred Winterbottom Invitational Will finish up the results and everything asap. Thanks everyone for being a part of it. Was a lot of fun!
  9. One thing I love about this format is that you actually have to consider how you go about building your fighter. Jimmy can correct me if I'm wrong each phase will award points 1-16 depending on where you finish (out of 16) that will go towards crowning the overall tournament. So like this... 1st = 16 2nd = 15 3rd = 14 4th = 13 5th = 12 6th = 11 7th = 10 8th = 9 9th = 8 10th = 7 11th = 6 12th = 5 13th = 4 14th = 3 15th = 2 16th = 1 Gives quite a few options as to how you go about things. Had a conversation with someone before who said that they would just take the L on the grappling to try and win the KT and MMA phases and that would be enough to win. After doing some adding up however I realised that if you won the grappling phase, you would just need to make sure to not finish lower than 8th in the KT and MMA and you would have more than the other guy. Just food for thought really
  10. Three fighters remaining now but unfortunately it seems that Rocket is awol for a while. The contract have one day remaining on them so I can't send any fight offers out. Have had to send renegs to extend contract length. I will try to reach out to Rocket and see if he's coming back but if not, we might as well go straight into the final (possible 2 fight final as Crazy Horse has yet to lose) What say ye remaining peoples?
  11. And we are GO! https://challonge.com/c8aja260 Remember peeps, event begins on the 1st December but after that fights are EVERY TWO DAYS!
  12. LEADERBOARD Ernest Chabot (Cope T) 7-2 Grappling Panda (Pika Choo) 6-2 Cleetus Boone (Freako Wimp) 5-2 Carmelo Rodgers (Crazy Horse) 5-2 Dragan Silva (Chuck W94) 4-3 Joao Miyao (Mac Little) 5-3 Brijbhushan Siddika (Bob Slay) 4-3 Cleber Rocha (Alfred Winterbottom) 4-3 Adriel Orozco (Tycoon Judas) 2-3 Antonio Darko (Rei) 3-3 Axel Randall (Don Frye) 2-3 Bernhard River Jr (Joe River) 2-3 Pedro Hemeterio De Araujo (Rush Greyson) 2-3 Jaan Mirtel (Henry Rollins) 2-3 Rip Dolomite (Real Rocket) 1-3 Rick Donkulus (Jimmy Normal) 1-3 Randy Snooze (Scottie 2 Hottie) 1-3 Avital Lavi (Todd Westacott) 0-3 David Donowitz (Chris Karter) 0-3 Billy Richards (Albert Summertop) 0-3
  13. ROUND 11 MATCH UPS G69: Grappling Panda (Pika) 6-2 vs. Carmelo Rodgers (Crazy Horse) 5-2 G70: Ernest Chabot (Cope) 7-2 vs. Cleetus Boone (Manne) 5-2 The winners of G69 & G70 will move on to face each other in the final The loser of G69 & G70 will be eliminated
  14. ROUND 10 RESULTS G68: Cleetus Boone (Manne) 4-2 vs. Grappling Panda (Pika) 6-1 Boone wins via Points (3-2) Another football score in this one but with 25m on the line you could almost forgive lack of action. Cleetus Boone coming in with no lifelines remaining going up against the surprise package of the tournament Grappling Panda. Panda, who had only lost one match up prior to this, could afford to be a little more relaxed with the result as no matter what would be afforded another bite at the cherry. In the end, Boone took the points victory by the very narrowest of margins setting up the next two rounds in the most understandable fashion possible. All four remaining grapplers on their final lives meaning a straight forward semi-final and final to crown the champion of this tournament.
  15. Nope all good. Contracts sent. As soon as you accept I'll get the party started
  16. He's signed to Highland dude
  17. I'm working under the assumption that we can create as soon as 400k hits
  18. Couple more days to go until the testing cut off and then we can get this massacre started. Long shot but there's still a few spots open for any last minute entrants. Can't imagine being five days behind would make much difference for a 25 year old creation. If you feel active and have the time running up to Christmas come get involved!
  19. It would have probably been less confusing if I could have found a way to upload the bracket clearly but that sort of wizardry is beyond me I'm afraid.
  20. Thanks for being a part of it! Glad you enjoyed the format. It's been cool not having to wait weeks in between fights to progress the tournament.
