  1. Did you contact the org owner, or run straight to the forums giddy that you had something to complain about?
  2. Following a period away from the cage, Arlo Rochester is set to return Sept. 25th against Furnum Pullum at Odense MMA. After last fighting at Madness MMA, Rochester signed a 5 fight deal with the Denmark based organization, marking the first time the fighter has ventured away from the Japanese market since making his Budokai debut. The lightweight champion of Odense, Ernest Graves, is also from Wichita, Kansas- Rochester had this to say about the current champion: "I don't think i've ever heard of two fighters from the same town fighting for a title before, much less from such a small city. I plan on stringing together some victories and making a run for that belt."
  3. Most of my fighters could use a sponsor or two. I'll even do the hard part for you. $420 sponsorships preferred. 338815, 348913, 353741, 370021, 370032, 370051, 370969, 372597, 375109, 376687, 377692, 377763, 377769, 377795, 377813
  4. 1. Training schedule relates to real time. While fighters age 1 year roughly every 3 months, the actual training time is the same as real life. Today is monday, so monday is the day your fighters will train. 2. there is not. As a general rule of thumb, training is vastly more effective when a fighters energy is over 90%. Furthermore, you would ideally stop training in time before the fight to have your fighter be back at 100% energy. 3. i would clarify with the org owner for 30 in real life days.
  5. I'd like to make a formal request to Mike to include some flavor text for this tournament, specifically "TKO via Decapitation" as my 130 lb fighter continues to be sent into orbit by Heavyweights. We'll get you a win some day, Mr. Tumnus.
  6. The son of former Combate champion Alejandro Scott, Pohaku Scott is finally on the board with his first career win- Pohaku looks to string together a solid win streak under the Enigma banner and earn a LHW Title Shot.
  7. 1 Mil for 3 months- highest offer for 3 months on there currently. Cheers
  8. Doesn't even really have that much hype- this one was purely a Belgian hatecrime
  9. Liam Murphy: "Te ol' manager thought he could leave me on that puny island, the rat bastard! I hitched a ride to the back of some doxie's undergarments and found my way back home, Slainte to Highland!"
  10. Welcome to Icarus MMA! Icarus MMA is an Open ID org designed to fill the mid-tier org gap. There's no doubt in my mind that Icarus will serve as the training ground for future Hall of Famers, and as a farewell tour for some of the current greats. I don't plan on trying to be a number one org- I simply plan on this org being a landing spot for any and every fighter over 340k ID looking to fight. Not every fighter can be a SYN or GAMMA contender- but, Icarus MMA offers an opportunity to still make some money and become a champion. It's been awhile since i've ran an org, and i've never done so from the ground up- I'm really looking forward to creating something memorable! If you are interested in a contract, PM me in game- 121658- I will be starting with Heavyweight and quickly expanding. Good luck everyone!
  11. Average MMATycoon Player By Berend De Jong, reporter at Dutch Combat Magazine I received word that a new exciting prospect had entered the Dutch scene. Following the GPS, I arrived at a trailer park near a dirty pond. From the outside, the place smelled like diesel and weed. Very well, I thought- even the most skilled of fighters have the most humble of beginnings. I knocked on the door, and heard a rather feeble sounding voice yell “come in!” When I opened the door, my eyes witnessed the true manifestation of chaos. McKing Burger wrappers were strewn about. A cat meowed in the distance, though it was unclear where as not an inch of ground could be seen. Rows and rows of piss bottles were near the couch. On the couch was a morbidly obese man in nothing but shit stained underwear, picking his nose. Shocked, I took a step back and said “Hi, i’m looking to interview a fighter. Do I have the wrong house?” “Nope, that’s me all right. Nice to meet you” he wheezed. His breath carried across the room. It smelled of Doritos and cat food. I knew that times had been tough for Defiant MMA, and that they had a pretty subpar last 20 fights- but this fucking guy? All of my preparation as a journalist went out the window. I had been in war zones less chaotic than this room. Nonetheless, with the spirit of Walter Cronkite looking over me, I braved onwards. “What made you think you could be a fighter?” I asked. “Well, I play this game online called MMATycoon. It’s acht-chually pretty advanced stuff, you wouldn’t understand it. It’s an MMO and I constantly wreck n00bs. I live in these peoples heads #RentFree. I’m kind of the best player on there.” I interrupted. “Is that why there’s a hole in the wall next to your computer monitor?” I motioned towards the damaged wall. He continued. “Anyways, I thought since i’m so good at the game I should try fighting in real life. Then I could get paid and actually buy more VIP, maybe buy the game from the nefarious Mr. Tycoon.” It’s certainly very adventurous of you. How do you plan on training for your fighting career? “I have a high learning speed so I think it will only take a couple 1 on 1 sessions and some sparring before i’m ready to actually fight when i’m 20 or so.” “Have you ever actually thrown a punch?” “I have not.” This was rhetorical, but I appreciated his response. “What do you hope to get out of your fighting career?” “What more is there to get in life? I already live in a beautiful mansion, have a Maserati and an asian girlfriend I have crazy sexxorz with. How much better could life get?” I stared at him. A roach crawled across his lap. At this point, the smell of the house overwhelmed me. I had to get out of there. And yet due to my obligation to Journalism, I couldn’t just leave without him kicking me out. I had to get him so upset that he’d walk away, if it were even possible for him to walk. “Well, fighting in real life will be worthwhile. It’s not as if some dumb site like MMATycoon is worth obsessing about, right?” At this point the behemoth in front of me turned into a blubbering child. Tears poured down his face, his cheeks as red as CK’s pubes. He tried to speak but only high pitch squeals could be heard. Something was mentioned about growing up in Belgium. I packed up my stuff, hoping Dutch Combat Magazine would never assign this man to me again.
  12. 3 Million for 12 months- cheers!
  13. Arlo Rochester is looking for an Open ID contract. 338815
  14. 380k is still pretty far away- perhaps 375? I would personally like to see creation date orgs, now that we have access to that information on a fighter's profile.
  15. Slow burning games like these always need a heel character on the forums.
  16. Getting back to Alfred's main point, i've been having the same problem. Seven days waiting for a qfc in amsterdam. The location designated qfc's are a relic of this game's past, location means absolutely nothing in any aspect except the qfc. Would like to see it changed.
  17. STATE OF DEFIANT For the first time in the linear history of both Defiant and Yellow Lotus MMA, the roster is completely homegrown talent- Not a single fighter has been poached from another camp. Displaying the best that Amsterdam has to offer, Defiant MMA is proudly located in the Red Light district, making it a cultural hub in both tourism and MMA. Arlo Rochester- the oldest member of Defiant and the de facto leader, Rochester has finally officially retired from combat sports. Starting his career at Phoqus Sports, he became a fan favorite in Japan, fighting in Budokai, Tokyo Rebels and Panda MMA before finally hanging his gloves up after a match in Madness. A true journeyman, Rochester became the first Popart created fighter to reach Open ID. Though his career is behind him, Rochester remains an influence at Defiant and is currently working on saving money to start his own Organization in Japan. Atticus Finch- Finch has been on a terror at SFL as of Late, with 5 wins in his last 6 fights, including a Decision win over the son of legendary former #1 P4P fighter, Gareth Keenan Jr. Turning his 9-6 record into a 14-8 record over the past year, It’s clear that Finch is a late bloomer. However, showing some incredible knockout power and one of the best chins in the game, Finch is set up for future success at Stoner Fight League. Dru Quick- Quick won 5 fights in a row at Synchronicity KT before getting absolutely crushed by the #1 P4P Kickboxer in the world Nero La Croix After La Croix mentioned his failed rap career in the pre fight interviews. After this he made the move to Ambush Kickboxing Federation, a relatively young org. Quick looks to be an immediate competitor for the Heavyweight belt, and eventually return to Synchronicity KT with some hardware to prove that he can compete with the absolute best in the world. Dewey Decimal- Decimal is one of Defiant’s finest. A champion several times over at WCF, Decimal recently lost the belt- however, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t had a WCF Hall of Fame worthy career. From humble beginnings as a librarian, Decimal won and defended the belt twice, before losing it. Several months later, he avenged this loss to reclaim it. Despite a two fight skid, Decimal is 15-7 and looks to recapture WCF gold before officially entering the big stage at an open ID. Shanti Anatta- Anatta is perhaps the youngest grappling phenom in CWC. At only 26, Anatta’s upcoming title fight against Antonio Brown signifies his 40th grappling match. Anatta has spent his entire career at CWC, and hopes to be the first fighter in Tycoon history with 100 grappling matches. Anatta attributes his youthful spirit to his unique approach of meditating on the mat at Defiant instead of ever actually training. Popart’s first Red Belt. Riley Hatfield- Thanks to Cali’s benevolent overlord, Riley Hatfield will likely be at the org for his entire career. That’s no small feat, considering every single pro fight of his has been in the org. Riley has been slowly working his way up the rankings, and is 7-1 in the org. Despite generally being on the undercard, this time traveling cowboy looks to break his curse by capturing a title shot. Jimmy Damnation- Damnation spends more time on his eyeliner than on his sparring. This is noted by his subpar 3-3 record and his slow learning speed. However, given his granite chin and his natural grappling skills, he is one prospect to look out for as he rounds out his skills and becomes more versatile standing up. Those pop punk twinks will live to regret the day they pushed him around in that mosh pit. Brandon Shamrock- Shamrock has already experienced some success in his short career, becoming Enigma’s first ever Featherweight champion. Despite losing the belt, Shamrock continues to stay a contender at the org, and has even considered spending less time high as shit to focus on his training. Spoiler: he won’t. Pohaku Scott- Scott is the son of former Combate champion, Alejandro Scott. When popart first started playing this game, his mentor Uniconor mentioned how his favorite fighter he managed was Scott. Years later, popart was able to bring Scott to Defiant MMA, and capture a belt before sending him off into the sunset. Hope all is well Conor! Agnieska Ostrowki- Alexa, play “She’s The Man” starring Amanda Byrnes. Nasir Prince- Fighting at Enigma, it never seemed like Prince would turn into anything; coming from a poor family, his prospects were low. Fighting with his siblings for the last piece of food was second nature to him. Prince adopted this attitude into his fight style- always hungry, and always looking for more. Nasir is 4-1 in his career, and has been putting on a spectacle in the Featherweight division. Liam Murphy- Ol’ Lucky Liam wasn’t quite so lucky in his last fight at Highlands, losing a title fight to the P4P #1, Noel Diaz. Despite this, Liam can’t complain. Liam was homeless before popart sent him to the island, and made enough money off of ‘Lucky Liam’s Irish Pub’ to retire early! Aleksandra Kaminski- Kaminski is one of the most skilled woman fighters on the planet. Fighting in HFC, at 2-0 she has shown her ability both on the feet and on the ground. Coming from Poland, Aleksandra and her sister made the move to Amsterdam to become top fighters in Womans MMA. The dream may be over for her sister but she looks to continue her streak and one day bring glory to her family in Poznan. John Dory- Dory is the most Australian bloke you’ve ever seen in your bloody life. Taken down more lawmen than Ned Kelly, wrangled more crocodiles than Steve Irwin, sang about fruit salad more than the Wiggles. The Vegemite Villain can outbox you with a Toohey’s in his right hand, so be prepared when you enter the octagon with him, ‘else it’ll feel like you’re being wrestled by Humphrey B. Bear. Mister Tumnus- Tumnus is a curly haired little elf who looks suspiciously like his curly haired jew manager. Charged with stalking and harassment after he was found in a child’s closet, Tumnus was freed from custody and began a career in MMA with a sidegig in writing propaganda filled religious kids books in an effort to clean up his public image. Mad Hatter- Hatter is a figment of Alice’s imagination, brought to life by her twisted sense of reality and imagination. Falling victim to an evil corruption, Alice must rely on Hatter achieving seven KO victories- representing the seven deadly sins- to restore Wonderland. Average Tycoon Player- The Average Tycoon Player is honestly a piece of shit. His dorito crumb covered fedora is his prized possession, and a close second is his piss bottles. Refuses to move from his mom’s basement, which is a real cockblock for Linda. Thinks smoking weed is cool, which it is, but not the way he uses it. Mordechai Wrobel- Wrobel’s family immigrated to the States when he was a child. Though he grew up in Columbus Ohio, he never forgot the sense of Polska pride his grandfather instilled in him, who himself was part of the Warsaw resistance. Before every fight, he points his hands to the sky, signifying that the fight is dedicated to his grandfather. Voodoo Child- White collar conservative, pointing their finger at me; hoping pretty soon my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high! Billy Conforto- Conforto was a gay man who was a friend of Theo Von’s who was a busboy with him. Looked like Don Flamenco. Took a bunch of pills and drove into an embankment. RIP Jack Thomas- “The Pride of London” Jack Thomas might be the scrappiest of the Defiant bunch. Coming from a lower class family, Thomas fought his was through secondary school. Afterwards, Thomas found work at a Port where he would often get in bare knuckle scraps for cash. After realizing his skill, he moved to Amsterdam to train at Defiant. Never the strongest or fastest, but always has the bigger heart.
  18. Without a doubt the most fun I’ve had on the island. I will absolutely be bringing my fighter on to the mainland and keeping them in Highland.
  19. After talking to several entrants, I think we'll have to shelf this for the time being- that being said, I absolutely want to make it happen in the near future. 380k ID is my ideal window. Sorry folks. I will make a new thread once we get near 380, and gauge insterest again.
  20. Accepted, sending money now
  21. Anyone ever buy this? If not I’ll take it
  22. Is there still interest in this? Creation for LoL started last week, but haven't received any word of confirmed fighters- let me know. Cheers
  23. Howdy friends, here’s the nonpartisan draft order: Kishion Billy Jack Butch Shquiid Scottie Alfred Chuck Andy Saklain Shaun Gwad
