Don King Jr. here, just making sure people dont forget about my fighters on the upcoming card. At 170, Kid Coke is going to knock someone out, while also at 170 my man Rellik is going to ground and pound his way to victory. Lastly, we have Ken Dinero, who is overmatched but will find a way to win. I gaurentee a 2 and 1 record at the least by the end of this card.

Amazing night, bar the bug that caused the NC, spoiling the event rating.

V.F.C 6: Preview, brought to you by Trojan, for all your rubber needs.

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1316854598vfc7.jpg

‘Ladies & gentleman and fight fans throughout the world, I’m Richie Ciapelli of MMA USofA, and I’m back in the big apple for VFC 6 Mouth for War. I just love coming here, the after parties are awesome, and make scenes from Spartacus Blood and Sands look like a nursery party. The fights, well they rock too, and word is getting out with promoters from fight organisations throughout the world sending scouts to see if the VFC will unearth a future global megastar. Or maybe they just want to check out the VFC after party!!!! So here is a low down on VFC 6 Mouth for War.

VFC 6 Mouth for War

Dodson Vs Maynard

On paper Maynard has a real mountain to climb here against this talented 155lb rising star Dodson. Both these guys have some amateur experience as they are in their 20s but it is Dodson who holds all the cards here. Neither of these guys would last a minute with a guy with even average stand up but as bad as Dodson is on this feet, Maynard is worse. Any technical skill will be found on the ground where they are both great wrestlers with some BJJ ability. Dodson has the advantage on their feet, and there is nothing to separate them on the ground.

Winner: Dodson – decision, although I will probably get my cheeseburger and beer when these boys are fighting.

Teagus vs Celentano

This is at 205lb with Teagus a Muay Thai specialist like so many from his managers stable and Celentano a very capable boxer. Teagus will be favoured based on his privileged training in London, but this pretty boy has angered his Management on a number of occasions. Sources in London say Teagus is seen regularly in London’s West End and is a known face in London’s Soho area and was kicked out of Cafe de Paris only recently, and is facing multiple assault charges when he returns to London. Sources close to VFC CEO McRiddle say he is ready to cut Teagus from the VFC roster should he be convicted. Teagus is certainly fighting for his future, but a trip to the penitentiary might end his career prematurely. Celentano is 1-1 with his loss coming against the highly touted CJ Miller but it was by KO inside 29 seconds, so there are questions to be answered about his durability.

Winner: Teagus – stoppage.

Coke vs Bennett

This fight sees two debutants in the 170lb division in a classic boxer versus wrestler match up. Bennett is a pure wrestler and you fancy that if he can secure the takedown this fight is over, and he should power through Coke’s blue belt BJJ skills with some ease. Coke – well let’s hope he has trained to stuff takedowns or be able to hold off Bennett on the ground long enough for the referee to stand them up. Coke can win this by KO , or lose by ground and pound.

Both these guys are controlled by high calibre managers, so expect a high quality fight.

The winner: depends on your preference between stand up and the ground game.

Nyrkki vs Turner

We step to 185lb here and I feel Turner a Muay Thai fighter is against it here as Nyrkki has been a pro a little longer than Turner who may be a little raw.

Turner can use the clinch land elbows and weaken Nyrkki with knees, but Nyrkki is not without MT skills himself and is also a far better boxer. On the ground Turner is a dead man, in fact Turner is a dead man walking going into this fight, as I see Nyrkki dishing out the most brutal beating of the night.

The winner: Nyrkki with XXX rated ground and pound.

Rellik vs Super Man

Rellik is the luckiest guy in the VFC to have this fight, and in contrast Man’s career could be over before it has began. Man has been dumped by his management team after he was questioned about an armed robbery in which two security guards were shot. Man was released however it seems it was only because the DA could be sure of a prosecution. So Man is innocent, but has no manager, and no gym will let him through their doors. Man trains at home, Rellik trains full time at the VFC Academy.

Insiders want Rellik to destroy Man, and he should be too fit, too strong, too good on his feet. Rellik does have to be careful if they go to the mat as Man is a BJJ brown belt, but I expect Rellik out of the VFC and into the criminal underworld for good.

The winner: Rellik – merciless KO.

Farva vs Duncan Jnr

Here we have two debutants t 185lb, which at first sight looks at straightforward Muay Thai vs BJJ match, with Farva the MT guy wanting to have nothing to do the Duncan Jnr on the mat. But when you here that Duncan is broke, can’t afford gym fees, and hasn’t spoken to his management team for 10 days you know something is definitely wrong. Duncan will fight, but where does he go after this fight?

Farva on the other hand has had a great camp with the VFC Rookie Academy, and you would expect Farva to be patient, stuff takedown attempts early doors while waiting for Duncan Jnr to gas.

The winner: Farva – Knockout 2nd round.

McCleod Vs Toule

Up to 205lb here an again, with all rounder McCleod taking on former Golden Gloves Middleweight champion Toule. McCleod is managed by the same company as Duncan Jnr, so he is another guy who is broke, not training and wondering if his manager is part of somebody’s foundations. We understand VFC executives are trying to contact their manager.

As for Toule, he is already 25 and needs to make an immediate impact after he failed to make the last U.S Olympic boxing team, and he has some wrestling skills. Although he should win this, we don’t know if this former boxer has put in the cardio work, as he has spent his money on nice shorts rather than supplements.

The Winner: Toule – he has a fight plan.

Dinero vs Babich

The perfect debut here for Don King heavyweight Dinero here as Babich has the same manager as McCleod & Duncan Jnr. Babich isn’t prepared for this, and you feel a well schooled Dinero with Don King Jnr’s crew barking out instructions Babich will gas, be taken down and submitted. You have to feel for Babich here as with a good camp it would be a pick em fight.

Szulkowski vs Sakuraba

Szulkowski & Sakuraba are two guys at 185lb here with extensive amateur experience in Muay Thai and Wrestling respectively. Both have competed at world level in their disciplines. Both guys have fought once and lost, but whereas Sakuraba went down via decision to a far more experienced fighter, Szulkowski was submitted via kumura by a BJJ blue belt.

I expect Sakuraba to be in superb condition and will test Szulkowski take down defence to the max.

The Winner: Sakuraba – ground & pound late on.

Chavez vs Gaburaisu

This could be a war at 205lb, Chavez a wonderful boxer must come out with the intention of getting Gaburaisu out of there early, or have trained to stuff takedown after takedown, because if ‘Gabaito’ gets him on his back this fight is over. Gaburaisu will have to utilise kicks in the stand up game to negate Chavez heavy hands and look for the take down.

Gaburaisu is the more complete fighter with decent MT and wrestling ability and I feel that if ‘Gabaito’ has a good fight plan he can finish this as soon as he gets Chavez on he mat.

The winner: Gaburaisu – ground and pound.

Kenrick "the Beast" Nikil

(Kenrick Nikil, former Star Defensive Tackle for the Goal Line Blitz USA Pro league team "Louisville Baby Kittens" has just signed a three-fight deal with the VFC. This is an transcript of the press conference)

(VFC CEO Kimmy McRiddle makes the announcement and turns the podium over to Brunno Falcone, Manager of the Stark Slugger Society gym and stable of, now, four fighters in the VFC.)

Brunno Falcone:Tanks, Kimmy for dat wonderful introduction. As some of yous guys know. I gots me tree other fighters here at da VFC. Kimmy made it clear that in order for him ta sign Kenrick dat he was gonna hafta drop down to da 265 weight division, as he had no plans to sign other super heavyweights. Kenrick was at 321 pounds when he played football, and I thought there was no way he would be able ta make weight at 265, but here we are... Without further ado... here's Kenrick.

Kenrick Nikil:Thanks, Brunno. First of all, I'd like to thank Kimmy McRiddle for giving me the opportunity to come to a quality organization and fight quality fighters. He really does seem to have the best interest of the fighters at heart. I was in BKCNY and they threw a bunch of money at me to start and offered pretty good money per fight but then never even offered me a single fight and the competition was, quite frankly, out of my league as a newcomer to the sport. I mean it would be like James "Lights Out" Toney fighting Randy Coture.... oh... I guess that did happen... he he. But all kidding aside I had no intention of being a tomato can for anyone. None of that mattered though as I was pretty much ignored by my former organization and Kimmy took care of me even then. So when my contract expired with BKCNY I was more then happy to sign on with the VFC. I am really looking forward to getting into the ring and getting the ring rust knocked off.

I have already made my professional debut in the QFC, for what that is worth, but, frankly, it is worth much. I am ready to take on higher level competitors and fight in well matched bouts that can allow me to grow as a fighter and help give back to Brunno Falcone, (my manager) and to the VFC. It's good to be here.

Reporter from the Canton Repository:You had a long and pretty impressive history with GLB and we know you are a skilled athlete, but how do you think you will make the transition to MMA from Football?

KN:Well, so far I have done pretty well. I am 2-0 and never been taken past the first round. I can definitely use more rounding out and more polish but I am training hard and making progress everyday. It's been a while now since you've seen me in the cage, but I will be even better now then I was in those last two fights, you will see.

Reporter for MMAJunkie.com:The VFC heavyweight division is pretty stacked, how do you think you will fair against such opponents?

KN:Don King Jr. Has a bunch of beasts in this division and there are others here that pose a serious threat, but I am ready and willing to step up and throw down with the best of them and see who comes out on top. I have already been training at the VFC Rookie Gym for most of me professional career now and I have rolled with some of these guys already. Most seem like pretty good dudes. It's gonna be fun... I welcome the challenge they represent.

MMA Addict.com:You weighed in at 299lbs at your last fight. You look like you have shed most of that weight, but how much of a cardio hit do you think that was making the weight drop? Do you think that will affect your performance? Are you even sure you can make 265?

KN:Yeah... the weight cut was absolutely huge, but I have lost this weight over a pretty long period of time. I had fitness trainers and nutritionists working with me to see that it was done right and in the healthiest way possible. I am still well over 265, but can easily make weight and my cardio has never been better. I feel better stronger and faster then I ever have. I'm like the 6 million dollar man. Only I think Mr. McRiddle got a considerably better deal then that. (chuckles) Have no fear... I will not be one of those lumbering oafs that gas out walking across the ring for the refs announcements. I will put on great shows for the VFC, and win or lose, I will bring no shame to the sport or to the VFC. And I promise fireworks everytime.

BF:OK, no more questions, weez gotta get back ta work... we gotta clean out all his stuff over at dat other place and get settled in here and everyting... Yous guys have a great evening, we'll be seeing yous guys soon. Have a good evening.

In a change from the planned fight between Silvia, and Speed. CEO Kimmy McRiddle released a statement earlier today, stating that Silvia would infact face newcomer to the V.F.C. Kenrick "The Beast" Nikil.

When asked for a comment regarding this. Brunno Falcone, Kenricks esteemed manager, had this to say.

It don't matter who you throw in front of me Kimmy. I'll take anyone. I'm pumped for this fight, Kenrick is chomping at the bit here.

As of now, Don King JR, has not commented, but sources say he will be overjoyed, regarding this fight.

The fight will take place on the 'as yet created' V.F.C. ##. Middle of this month.

Overjoyed, overjoyed? Why, my man trains for one fighter, and another is thrown at him. If that is how we are going to do this can i at lleast put some brass knucles in the gloves or sumthing. FIne we will take this fight, but Kimmy, switching stuff up no less then what 2 weeks from the fight, that is not all that proffessional my friend. Not at all. On a side note, two big victories this weekend, another few coming up soon. Kimmy, you owe me one.

Hey, no problem with me, i'll stick with the original fight. You wanted an earlier opponent a few weeks ago, I got you one, and now you complain two weeks isn't enough notice. (I personally feel two/three weeks is more than enough advance notice for a fight, in my opinion but i'm not the manager)

I'll pit Kenrick against the guy I had him planned to fight originally. Silvia will still fight Speed.

Congratulations on your wins, good luck against Speed.

That's who I was planning to have him fight originally (Assuming you both win), and who he will now fight.

Hendayko has brute. Though i'll book it for the event two weeks after that. I'll give Henrick a warmup, first.

With everybody above them, due to fight, it'll be interesting to see how that division pans out.

The 265lb division will be settled with good old fashioned #1 / #2 contender. Once I feel the skill level of the division has evened out, so no tournament to worry about their, just concentrate on getting Hendayko to beat people up :)

Kenrick "The Beast" Nikil

(Kenrick and manager Brunno Falcone's response when told my VFC CEO Kimmiy McRiddle that Kenrick will not be fighting Silvia)

Kimmy McRiddle

Change of plan. Silvia is being a little bitch regarding the fight, so you'll fight the guy I originally wanted you to fight.

I'll give you until V.F.C 11 to train, mate.

Kenrick Nikil I'm not gonna be on the card in two weeks? I mean, I'll fight whoever, whenever, but I was hoping to fight one of the two guys you mentioned in two weeks. It's all good to me. I understand you got things booked up pretty solid for what, 11 cards? So if it can't go down then I guess that's just how it is. I'll just train my ass off and whoop the dog shit outta whoever is standing in my way. And since Silvia is being a little bitch, it'll make it that much sweeter when I get that shot against him and leave him bleeding in the corner. Just send me the contract. I'll sign it in blood if you want...

Brunno Falcone Yeah, as much shit as Don King Jr. was talking I thought he was actually confident in his fighters abilities. I'm guessin' he's just as full of shit as Don King his self. Whatevah... Kenrick will fight pretty much anyone you trou in fronta him. He was a professional football player for fuck's sake.... he can take a hit. And when he puts people on the mat.... he gets to do his own hittin' den.... out goes da lights. So, whatevah... fagetaboutit. We'll take on whoevah...
