Statement from Jon Boogi fighter Archie Fallon: Hello to all MMA fans. I am very happy with my recent victory against Andy Ridge. It did come quicker than expected, and I managed to pop a knuckle on that final punch however the bandages came off today and I am glad to say I am looking forward to my next bout with Mr Orndorf.

People may ask why my manager has accepted a bout with a far lower ranked fighter...In answer I can say there are two reasons: Firstly because I asked him to. Mr Orndorf challenged me and I accepted. My word is iron. Secondly because ranks often mean little. Mr Orndorf is a superior boxer, fast and with proven explosive power. He will be a good challenge for me.

If you ask for my prediction on the fight I will say this. As fast as he may be, I am faster. No matter the result, this fight WILL bring fireworks. I wish Mr Orndorf the best, and accept his offer of a beer after the fight.

Be well, stay safe and keep watching!

Facebook update from Paul Orndorf

Paul Orndorf: Hey, I gotta send out a big shout out toArchie Fallon, for being a stand up guy. He took this fight even though it will not do him no good if he loses and not much better if he wins. But he ain't wrong. He is one hell of a strong boxer and he is faster than greased cat shit. I think that in the standup that we are about as close at it gets and that is gonna make it awesome! What has me most concerned though is his ground game. If I can stand up to that then who knows how this fight ends.... actually I know. Someone will get KOTFO!

Regina Orndorf: Hey, baby! I'm getting out of the halfway house tomorrow so I can come watch you kick the shit outta that Fallon guy!

Paul Orndorf: Damnit, honey! Why you gotta talk about the halfway house and shit on here? You could said that shit on the phone not to everyone in the fucking world!

Regina Orndorf: Bitch, please! I'm gonna slap the piss out of you when I get home! Why you gotta be such a fucking punk!?!

"The Law" Derick Smith

-------------------------

We're in the gym to get a few comments from "The Law" Derick Smith about his signing with Immortals New York and his up coming fight against Beecher Meetz.

"The Law" Derick Smith

Yep, it's true.. I've signed a contract with Immortals a little while ago and am expected to face Beecher Meetz in my first fight. From what I heard, Beecher will make for an excellent match-up style wise, and I got great chances to get the win here. It's going to be a very interresting match and whoever comes up with the best gameplan will be taking the W back home. I've been working on a few things.. things that might surprise Beecher in our fight. I'll see you all at INY 4 - Silvia v Styles on the 28th this month.

INY - 3 Almanez vs. Savanis II Event Preview

Welcome once again folks to the show. I’m your host Ricky Warner reporting for MMAAddict.com. Today I bring you the preview for the third event for New York’s rising star fight promotion, Immortal New York. INY - 3 Almanez vs. Savanis II. This is another title event for this organization, this time in the Middleweight Division. So, again in the order they will appear on the card here is my breakdown of this event.

Matthew Lembryk (0-0) vs. Wesley Snipes (0-1)

This Heavyweight bout features new comer Matthew “The Lumberjack” Lembryk against “Cobra” Wesley Snipes. Snipes fought once in the QFC before coming over to the Immortals losing via TKO(cuts) . The Lumberjack has strong boxing and wrestling foundations, but is severely lacking in the muay tai department. He is also only a white belt in BJJ, this should not pose a problem as Snipes is equally unskilled in BJJ. Lembryk is also the smaller man, giving up ten pounds and thirteen inches to Snipes who is as tall as Lebedev, although not quite as massive. Snipes on the other hand has wonderful muay tai but is generally weak in all other areas. It also appears that he might have skin made out of tissue paper. I predict that, despite having a significant reach advantage that Snipes will have his work cut out for him keeping Lembryk at bay. Lembryk is too well rounded for snipes and I think that The Lumberjack will fell this tree. TIMMMMMBEEEEER!!!!

Prediction: Matthew Lembryk decision or mid fight (T)KO.

Dante Rua (0-0) vs. Devin Styles (0-0)

This fight is between two men making their professional debuts in the Heavyweight division. Dante Rua is a wrestling based fighter with decent standup skills and a Brazillian Jujutsu purple belt. He is facing Devin Styles the fraternal twin of Derric Styles who will be fighting for the Heavyweight title in a month or so. Despite having a slight advantage in wrestling and BJJ he faces a well rounded, well managed, and well trained, Devin Styles. It will be difficult in the extreme for Rua to climb this mountain. The standup in this bout will be owned by Styles hands down, and presumably he will have just enough skill in wrestling to stuff the takedowns from Rua. And if this guy hits even half as hard as his brother does, then Rua could find himself in the locker room watching the fights on the big screen faster then he ever dreamed possible. That said I think that Rue will have the potential to go places in this promotion as he has a solid skill set. He just drew the shortest straw this time out.

Prediction: Devin Styles KO or decision.

Charlie Lucciano (0-1) vs. Randy Turner (0-0)

For this one we drop down to the Light-Heavyweight Division as Charlie Lucciano takes on Randy “Highwayman” Turner. Lucciano has a decent muay tai but is pitiful in his boxing skills. He is a mediocre wrestler and does sport a BJJ blue belt. The question then becomes is that going to be enough to win this fight against the superb muay tai of the Highwayman? Turner does have significantly better muay tai, as has been mentioned, but it should also be pointed out that he is not much better in the boxing department and he has virtually no skill at all on the ground. While neither of these men has had a professional fight before is seems that the answer to this one is clear. Luke may not shine in any area particularly well, but he is the more well rounded fighter. If he is able to control where this fight takes place then he should be able to walk away with the win. If he stands and bangs, or is just unable to get the fight to the ground, then he will lose.

Prediction: Charlie Lucciano decision

Frank Rua (0-0) vs. Todd East (0-0)

Another Light-Heavyweight bout up next. Frank Rua out of Poland set to fight New York native “The Beast” Todd East. This match up looks very interesting as both men have solid boxing and wrestling skills and are of similar size. Rua does have a three and a half inch reach advantage which could make the difference in the standup, except that East looks a bit stronger in that area. Where Rua has a decided advantage is on the ground where he could utilize his BJJ Purple belt to work for a submission of East. All in all I think that while Rua is slightly more well rounded that East’s strong suits match up well against Rua’s This fight could well be fight of the night. It could go either way but I think that it will go to the ground at some point and when it does it will allow Rua an opportunity to work for subs. I don’t think He’ll get them, but it will still score points.

Prediction: Frank Rua decision.

Gustavo Aldolfo Norales (0-0) vs. Bryan Murphy (0-0)

Fresh meat in the Lightweight Division today in this fight as the Guatemalan, Gustavo Adolfo Norales is set to take on Bryan Murphy out of Boston. While both these guys are making their professional debuts tonight, there are some reports about their amateur performances that could shed some light on the situation. Norales is said to have respectable Boxing and wrestling skills but not appreciable talent with kickboxing or BJJ. Conversely, Murphy seems only to be a brilliant BJJ practitioner with little else to rely on. Norales is older by two years and seems to have the better skill set. Bryan Murphy has to get this fight to the ground where he can work for submissions, but even if he lands a takedown, which seems unlikely at best, will he have what it takes to out grapple Norales. Frankly, I think not. A purple belt is nice but if you get man handled on the ground then it will not serve you well. Just ask Tinsdell.

Prediction: Norales decision or possibly GnP stoppage.

Mighty Joe (1-1) vs. Ken Dinero (1-1)

We go back up to the Heavyweight Division where Mighty Joe faces Don King Jr. fighter, Ken Dinero. Mighty Joe fought twice in the VFC winning his debut by way of a flashy superman punch in sixteen seconds, but losing to Vinnie Vincent by KO. Joe gives up over a foot of height to Dinero whish should post problems for him closing inside his reach but once there he has a decided advantage. Dinero, like most DKJ fighters, is a respectable wrestler with the BJJ to back it up. Also, like most other fighters coming out of that camp, he is notoriously absent stand up skills. He landed a submission armbar on the Russian, Oleg Babich, but lost via TKO to C.J. Miller in his next outing. Both these guys want and need a win here tonight, but I think that it will be a serious challenge for Dinero to overcome the power and skill of Joe in the standup. And Joe also similar wrestling skills. I guess we will see what his takedown defense is like. If he has the ability to stuff the takedowns then he will put Dinero away.

Prediction: Mighty Joe KO first round.

Ronald Roughcut (2-1) vs. Cung Lee (2-1)

The Welterweights make their presence known in this next one. Ronald Roughcut is one of the few BJJ brown belts in the Immortals roster and both his wins have come by way of submission. His only loss coming by way of decision in the QFC. Cung Lee, is a departure from the norm, for Don King Jr. fighters, is a muay tai specialist of respectable ability. Roughcut is in a similar position as Tinsdell in that he has the skill to land submissions but may have trouble in getting to where he needs to be to get them. He has some ability in muay tai himself, but likely not as good as Lee. Even if he gets the fight to the mat, I don’t see him being able to match Lee there either. It is possible that he could pull guard from the clinch which might allow him to emerge with a submission victory, but I am smelling a lot of if coming off of this plan. I think that Roughcut is in a bad spot here, but given time, if he has the heart he can focus on the holes in his game and become a force in this division. Just not today. Cung Lee, for his part, is likely to emerge victorious, but probably will not finish.

Prediction: Cung Lee decision.

Ronald Chinner (3-2) vs. Lupe Pintor (1-1)

This Lightweight bout has important ramifications for both these men, as the winner moves much closer to title contention while the loser drops lower in the rankings and will need to climb back out. Both these men lost to Jimmy Young, no shame there, and Chinner also lost against Tohino Cerezo who was a very highly ranked prospect at one time, and, rumor has it, is in negotiations to return. Chinner has faced some of the best in the Lightweight Division. He may not have always won, but he is not afraid to try. He faces Lupe “The Cobra” Pintor now though and this guy is very good. He is managed by the very capable Peel Steel, owner of the Immortals New York, and he also has faced tough competition. To be honest, Roughcut appears to be in a lot of trouble in this fight. There is nowhere that he has a distinct advantage. In fact there appears to be nowhere that Pintor cannot win this fight. Even on the ground Roughcuts woeful skill in wrestling looks inadequate to the mediocre talent of Pintor. His pirple belt in BJJ being his strongest aspect and it is matched by Pintor’s own Brazillian jujutsu skills. This fight seems pretty open and shut. Barring a fluke, Pintor should have this one.

Prediction: Lupe Pintor submission or decision.

Happy Gunderson (10-24) vs. Omnus IV (3-0) Co-Main Event

The jobber Happy Gunderson takes on the eccentric self-managed Omnus IV in this Light-Heavyweight bout. I just don’t even know where to begin on this one. Gunderson, should have retired a long, long time ago. The twenty-eight year old Gunderson has lost an embarrassing twenty-four times out of his thirty-four previous fights. He now faces the undefeated Omnus IV who has brutalized everyone who steps into the cage with him, winning all three fights via TKO. Omnus is a finisher and this fight will be no different. One has to wonder why in the Hell, Gunderson is still fighting at all and why he would have agreed to take this fight. For a fighter of his age, you’d think he possessed a better skill set. I think that speaks volumes on his training regimen. Omnus IV on the other hand has received much rigorous training in the most Spartan of conditions. The man punches trees for God’s sake. Barring a lucky head kick or something, there is nothing that Gunderson has for his opponent. Even his BJJ brown belt will not likely be of any use as he would have to content with the strong wrestling abilities of Omnus IV.

Prediction: Omnus IV (T)KO first round.

J.D. Almanez (8-6) vs. Brody Savanis (11-9) II The Main Event - Middleweight Title Fight

Here we go… again. These two guys met some time ago in the VFC for the Middleweight Title. The fight went the distance with J.D. Almanez emerging with the win in a fight of the night worthy performance via a very close decision. These guys are about as closely matched as you can get and only on the ground is there any discernable difference in their abilities. However, while the wrestling advantage goes to Savanis, the BJJ advantage is Almanez with his brown belt. These guys are very good and it will be another war in there. As they battle for supremacy. I believe that the ground fighting is the key to this fight, but I have little doubt that wherever this fight takes place there will be fireworks. The Middleweight division has a large gap in talent between the top ranked guys and the rest of the pack but either way this fight will be definitive, as if Savanis wins then there will almost certainly have to be a rematch and if Almanez wins then he will have firmly cemented his place as the king of the Middleweight hill. His manager Andy Wright is poised to rule not just this division but he is also has top contenders in two other divisions. Will we see a successful defense of the title or will a new champion emerge. The age and experience of Savanis could be an advantage, as could the skill and expertise shown by Andy Wright. This fight is almost a pick ‘em.

Prediction: J.D. Almanez defends his title. Decision.

Well, that is it for this installment, folks. Thanks for joining me today, and hope you enjoy the show. Good luck to all the fighters and goodbye New York. I’ll see the lucky ones at the after party.

Ron Sparks wants to vs Aaron Franklin. We would appreciate it.

Are you really calling out a fighter who only has one fight? Are you also aware that that fighter's manager also only has one fight?

We do NOT CRUSH CANS HERE!!!

I think that a much better fight for Ron Sparks would be Bull Brute. That fight would be at least close to your level of skill, Don. Not some guy who just started playing. The last thing our new players need is to be fucking destroyed by one of the top managers in the org. If he had called you out, then it might have been different, but you calling him out looks like you are trying to pad your record. Nothing more. If you called out, Lebedev, any of the Brute boys, Velasquez, Vemola, or even Nikil, then I woulds have thought you were looking for tough competition, but you are calling out a guy you know without a doubt is not up to the challenge.

No offense to Toxic Hazzard if you are reading this, but we are trying to make sure that our new managers get fair fights and this simply would not be fair. You need more experience before we throw you to the monsters run by the top managers in here.

Ron Sparks, I would suggest that you do not take the advice you were given of calling out Bull Brute. Just hearing the rumors going around that you might be considering it has him angry. When Bull Brute is angry ....well, he is pacing around looking for things to headbutt right now. He already got the fish tank, now I have to put all the fishies in little bowls. I would recommend that you apologize.

If you choose to fight him, He says he would love it to be on the first INY Fight Night card, on the 22nd.

(Bull fully expects to get his face cut up while fighting the Titan Yuri win or lose, but hopes he will be healed enough to fight again on that date. It's two weeks recovery time.)

That's what I'm talking about right there. Step up and bring it. Even with the possiblity of it being to soon to heal up from the previous fight.

I appreciate that you dont want to crush cans here, but Franklin is 2 spots above Sparks and Franklin is 6 years older. They match up well and I think it will be a good fight. I dont see a problem with Sparks calling out Franklin.

Did you even look at the rankings??? We have similar stats as far as the main components, He may be a new manager, but his fighter is older and ranked above me, i see no reason why this is unfair at all. He is 1-0 we are 2-1, i dont see the problem.
