Yes, Ive ran many tourneys, and you can ask anyone that I release as soon as you are done. Im not even sure if thats the round count, but Im usingthe same format as Eminence used, and that was the contract length they sent.

FYI I had to switch the match ups because I found a double elimination bracket maker that let me punch them in, but to get them in the bracket itself, the site had to generate the match ups. Sorry about the confusion.

Here is a quick look at the Empire 5 Million Tourney. I'm not going to get to every entrant, we'll take a look at some of the more interesting fighters entered in the tourney. I'm going to break the fighters featured here into 3 groups; Grizzled Vets, Hot Prospects, and Wild Cards.

Grizzled Vets

Harry "The Hitman" Bush http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=78271

Bush has achieved a 7-5 record fighting in Blitz/Empire in a top HW division. Bush has come up short against the top flight HW's, but has proven to be a solid gatekeeper with thunder in his hands. 20 of his 21 wins have come via KO. The 30 year old veteran is fighting relatively unknown slugger Curtly Ambrose in the first round.

"The Bum" Matt Sabre http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=13650

EPL season 2 runner up Matt Sabre is another grizzled vet. Sabre recently ended a 6 fight losing streak by scoring back to back decision victories in Ascension. Sabre has proven his durability back in his EPL days, it will be interesting to see if he can regain his winning form back on the big stage. His opening round fight is against Ololo Pysh Pysh.

"The Total Package" VinniJay Acunia http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=62389

Acunia comes to Empire from IMMA where he compiled a 5-3-1 record. Acunia is not much of a finisher, 11 of his 20 wins have come via decision. Having come up short against top-flight competition, Acunia will have something to prove in the tourney. Liddel will be his first opponent in the tourney.

Ignatius Reilly http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=56333

Another Empire fighter, Reilly has accumulated a 5-2 record in the org. Reilly has been in with some of the top LHW in the Tycoonverse and has to be one of the favorites to take home the grand prize. His manager is handsome and has a genius level IQ. His first opponent is Machi Machiko.

"Original Amish" Levi Zimmerman

Zimmerman is another highly regarded fighter, he comes to us from BHFC where he compiled a 3-2 record. Zimmerman uses his crazy farmboy strength to finish 19 of his 27 victories. Having once attained a #3 ranking, Levi is likely the most acclaimed fighter throwing his strange amish hat into the cage. In the first round Zimmerman will take on Jeremy Staton.

Sonny Corleone http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=72963

Corleone has compiled a breathtaking 18-1 record, 9-0 in TTFC where he is the reigning LHW champion. Corleone has dynamite in his fists, KO'ing 15 of his 19 opponents. This impressive fighter has to be the early favorite going into the tourney. Many Tycoon experts are really enthused about some of the matchups we could see Sonny in along the way. Ranked at #23 right now, a few wins along the way could have the #1 fighter in Tycoon in the brackets. Corleone faces relative unknown top prospect Autumn Hunter in the first round.

Hot Prospects

"Gods Spear" Ansgar Axelsson http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=76585

Joe River is a very ambitious manager. He is unleashing his two top prospects on the Tycoonverse, trying to find the next Budo Rei. Axelsson has cut his teeth in UPG Vegas, compiling a 10-0-1 record there. Axelsson has been very successful in the regional level. It will be interesting to see how his skills translate on the international stage of Empire. His first opponent is Abel Kahn.

"The Hulk " Autumn Hunter http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=139167

Hunter is River's second entry. He has compiled a 10-1 record in regional promotions, also avenging his one defeat via brutal KO. Hunter is very well rounded and possess KO power in his hands. As one of the larger men in the tourney Hunter will look to impose his will on the tourney field. The SVW HW champion opposes Corleone in the first round. Potentially the most intriguing first round matchup in the tourney.

"The Juggernaut" DeAngelo Kenner http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=99268

Kenner has compiled an impressive 11-1 record in his mma career, although against soft competition. There is no doubt however that Kenner is a very skilled fighter. Kenner is looking to use this tourney to prove to the Tycoonverse that he is a legit fighter and make a name for himself. Although untested, Kenner is one of the favorites to take home the chunky paycheck. His first opponent is Katsuji Rikidozan.

Curtly Ambrose http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=144959v

Ambrose is the most in-experienced entrant, he has compiled a 2-0 record solely in QFC's. Ambrose is skilled, but relatively unknown. His striking is nearly world class at 23, that with the lack of info on him make him a frightening draw in the first round. He drew the grizzled vet Harry Bush in one of the more intriguing first round match-ups.

Wild Cards

Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=85874

A one of the few top notch wrestlers in the tourney, Rosenthal is a definite wildcard. He is primarily a boxer and one dimensional at that. Rosenthal does have KO power in his hands, winning by KO in 15 of his 19 wins. If Rosenthal has a ground game that we have yet to see, he could be a very dangerous fighter in this tourney. His first round opponent is Ivan Drago.

"Lord of Middleport" Danza Kuduro http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=97452

Kuduro is a very skilled fighter coming off a 3 fight losing streak. He is under new management and has changed his name to signify that he is a new man inside the cage. With new management, opponents really have no idea what kind of gameplan Kuduor will be bringing to the cage with him. His first round opponent is Ernie Els.

"Karvainen Kostaja" Kalevi Commando Kukkonen http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=93022

Kukkonen is another skilled fighter who hasn't had the success his abilities might merit. He has gone 2-2 in Ascension and is looking to bring that big fight experience to the Empire tourney. His first fight is against the veteran Aldo Raine.
