Vinny "The Crow" Hopkins (224248)

"I won my debut at SP-ICON 251. I knocked my opponent out cold in the third round after demolishing him the whole fight. SP-Icon manager Bjorn O'Donnel was very pleased with my performance and had a smile bigger than Canada when he finally saw my potential and that they have a new Champion coming soon.

My last fight against Joaquim Antunes in Epicity was an embarrasing moment for me. His ground game was amazing and I had to train extensively to fix the holes in my game. I was very upset by the stoppage and almost quit the sport. My team and friends continued to push me and support me, and SP-Icon paid me well and brought me here to become their Champion for a long time. Four Loko is the Champion at this weight class right now, so let's just say I really don't have anything to worry about, my training partner Don Diego made Loko run for his life away from Ascension. In a few fights I'll destroy him too."

Great event once again that puts us on the 14th place worldwide. Arial Jones retained his 185lbs belt after he dominated MJ Shain, but MJ showed huge heart and determination and the doctor was needed to stop the fight as there was no quitting in MJ Shain. He proved to be a real tough warrior!

In the co-main event, Titus Pullo made short work of Takahashi, the former number one fighter worldwide in the division. A hook after just seconds knocked him down and let him stand back up. A clear sign that he wanted the one punch KO win and so he did. Just seconds later, he faked a left punch and threw a massive head kick that made Takahashi collapse like a ragdoll. Pullo improves to 25-0 with 24 (t)KO wins and seems destined for the next title shot. What a fighter!

SP-ICON 259

The card conists of fights between:

Mark Coleman Jr VS Jason Scott

Jose Cronos VS Matt Lincoln

Juan Cabrillo VS James LaBrie

Leroy Goins VS Mike Henderson

Finn Balor VS Jean-Louis Andre

Ceasar Morgan VS Jose Mera

Don Julio VS Joe Pistone

Jimmy James VS Brent Blackburn

Jannis Arvanitidis VS Eliah Marshal

Sergei Dragunov VS Elthebart Takahashi

Mark Coleman Jr VS Jason Scott

The first Rematch between Mark Coleman Jr and Jason Scott is a fantastic way to start off a card. Mark Coleman Jr is the more experianced fighter after recently celebrating his 35th birthday going into the fight with 19 wins and 12 losses on his record where Jason Scott at the ago of 29 has 13 wins and 13 losses on his record.

Mark Coleman Jr is a very well rounded fighter with good boxing and muay thai, excellent wrestling and decent BJJ, Jason Scott hasnt got the best boxing skills but is confident in his muay thai and wrestling and also is not afraid to take the fight to matt with great BJJ capabilities. Mark Coleman Jr has earned most of his wins through (T)K.O'S 12 of them to be exact. With 4 Submissions and 3 wins from the judges scorecards. While Jason Scott has no (T)K.O'S but has a more than impressive 7 wins but tapout and 6 by way of decision.

The last fight between these two men ended in a second round K.O for Coleman and he was the more dominant fighter throughout the encounter, but dont count Jason Scott out because of this, Jason has the capabilities to win this match with his skill set and mainly his muay thai, but Coleman will be hoping for much the same.

In my opinion this will be a first round K.O win for Coleman as he will be the aggresor once again in this fight, i think his experiance in the cage and confidance after the last fight will push his through and will look to end the fight fast without injury and Scott will be vary wary and staying on the outside looking for the oppurtinity to take Coleman agaisnt the cage and grind him down but i dont see this happening, i think Coleman will catch the wary Scott and end the fight in great fashion. Either way this fight will be awesome and will be a must watch.

Jose Cronos VS Matt Lincoln

In the second fight on the card is another rematch between Jose Cronos & Matt Lincoln is going to be phenominal. The 32 year old Brazilian Jose Cronos has a outstanding record of 23 wins and 9 losses and the American Matt Lincoln has 14 wins and 6 losses, and they are both hungry for a win after both losing in their previous fights.

Jose Cronos has excellent boxing and muay thai, sensational wrestling and holds nothing less but a black belt in BJJ. Bet your wondering how Lincoln can win this fight? well dont be fooled as Lincoln is also brilliant in boxing and muay thai he also has brilliant wrestling but just falls short against Cronos in BJJ so will be doing his all on keeping the fight on the feet.

In the last fight between these two men ended in a win for Jose Coronos in the second round by K.O where Coronos proceeded to say he was going to conquer the world, Linoln will have learned his lesson and will be extra cautios coming into the rematch.

I can see this fight going to the judges decison where Lincoln will win 30-27, he will be extra careful so wont be going for the knockout but wont want to take the fight to the matt against such a profound black belt BJJ artist, i dont think Coronos will be able to do what he did again but it wont be for not trying, he will come out swinging from the bell trying to take Lincolns head off but wont succed in my humble opinion.

Juan Cabrillo VS James LaBrie

in the third fight on the card brings together 4 time fight of the night winner 36 year old Juan Cabrillo will come to blows with the amazing 25 year old James DT LaBrie. Cabrillo will want to avenge his loss to Don Julio after a 3 round battle which went to the judges and LaBrie will want to get back to winning ways after getting TKO'd by James Penn in 4:05 into the first round. Cabrillo has a impressive record of 15 wins 11 losses and 1 draw while Labrie has a decent record of 7 wins and only 1 loss which he suffered in his last fight which i already mentioned.

Cabrillo & LaBrie both have a great artillary with fantastic boxing and muay thai and can wrestle at a olympic level but are not so confident in BJJ so this match will stay standing. LaBrie will be coming out strong as always as he has 5 first round (T) K.O's and will be looking to make it 6 and Cabrillo is no stranger to a long drawn out fight where he usually becomes victorious after tiring his opponant out and making the most out of his staminaless competetor.

In my opinion this fight can go one of two ways, either Cabrillo will take LaBrie out of his comfort zone and make him fight in later rounds and will K.O him in the 3rd round or LaBrie will go full force from the bell and catch Cabrillo off guard and knock him out clean within the first round before Cabrillo gets his game plan in force due to being a slow starter, but either way this has all the minerals to be a outstanding fight.

Leroy Goins VS Mike Henderson

The forth fight on the card is another rematch between 10 time fight of the night winner American 43 year old Leroy Goins facing the 14 time fight of the night winner American 36 year old veteren Mike Big Pimpin Henderson. With 117 fights between these two warriors i think you know how great this fight promises to be. Leroy Goins has a record of 32 wins and 27 losses and 1 draw with most of them wins have came by (T)K.O's he proves to be a very dangerous opponant. While Mike Henderson has a record of 34 wins 18 losses and 5 draws proves that he is just as dangerous in the octagon as his opponant.

Goins has brilliant Boxing and Muay Thai and exceptional wrestling with decent BJJ while Henderson proves to be exactly the same in all areas so these are both more than capable on finishing the fight regardless of if they are standing, in the clinch or on the matt. The last fight between these to veterans was a 3 round battle which all 3 judges scored the fight 30-27 to the deserving winner Henderson who through the 3 rounds seemed the more dangerous and controlled where the fight was for a good portion of the fight.

I cant separate these guys so im going to say this fight will end in a draw, Goins will have upped his game and strenghed in the required areas while Henderson will be trying to do more of the same, i think they are going to cancel eachother out and both be wary and showing the due respect of eachothers capabilities. this fight will go the distance.

Finn Balor VS Jean-Louis Andre

At the midway point of the card in the fifth fight of the event is another great battle between 4 time fight of the night irish superstar Finn Balor VS 2 time sub of the night winner France's own Jean-Louis Andre. Finn Balor has a impressive record of 21 wins 10 losses and 1 draw while in the other corner Jean-Louis Andre has a record of 16 wins and 16 losses. Finn Balor will want to go back to winning ways after a 3rd round TKO loss to Eliah Marshal who also features on this card in the Co-Main Event and Jean-Louis Andre will also want to return to winning ways after a 1st round TKO loss.

Balor really is the highest calibre fighter and is sensational all round and holds a black belt in BJJ while Andre is brilliant in boxing and muay thai and had exceptional wrestling but slightly falls short against Balor on the floor. So Andre will be trying to keep the fight standing at all times and will not want to be getting tangled on the floor with the astonishing Balor.

I cant see Andre winning this fight, i feel Balor is going to dominate the fight on the feet and look for the take down to the matt and put Andre to sleep fairly early in the fight, Andre dont match up to Balor anywhere in the octagon so he is stepping into the cage a beaten man in my opinion, a 1st round submission from Balor is the way i think this fight will end up.

Ceasar Morgan VS Jose Mera

In the sixth fight on the card is a matchup between the 33 year old Canadian submission expert Ceasar Morgan against the 35 year old Brazilian BJJ specialist Jose Mera. This is going to be a fight only true MMA fans will enjoy, with not one knockout between the competetors and only submissions this fight will be hitting the matt in seconds and the BJJ fest will begin.

Both of these fighters are more than useless in boxing and muay thai but when it comes to wrestling and BJJ it dont get better than this, imagine the Gracie family fighting eachother and then you will get a good idea of how this fight will go. Ceaser has a record of 17 wins 10 losses and 1 draw while Mera has 17 wins 13 losses and also has 1 draw. Both Morgan and Mera have 13wins by tapout and 4 by decision thats how close this fight is going to be.

Mera has been tapped out 4 times where Morgan has only been tapped out twice and thats the only way you can guess how this fight will turn out, i cant call it but now you have all the information you need il let you make the choice of who will win, but one thing is for certain if your a hardcore MMA fan you wont want to blink and miss a second of this JuJitsu banaza!

Don Julio VS Joe Pistone

In the seventh fight on this card is a matchup between 7 times fight of the night and 2 times K.O of the night 31 year old American Don Julio against 4 time K.O of the night winner and fight of the night winner 31 year old American Joe Pistone, Julio will want to carry on his 2 fight win streak while Pistone will want his second win in a row after a unanimous decision victory against Bam Margera. These fighters have had their last 8 fights between them go to decision and i dont think that this matchup will prove to be any differant.

Julio's Muay Thai and boxing is outstanding and his wresting is great to and has a decent knowledge of BJJ so he is not worried no matter where the fight ends up, and Pistone has brillant boxing and muay thai and great wrestling and is a proud owner of a well earned BJJ Black belt so you would think he has the advantage if the fight was to hit the matt. The fans are in for 3 rounds of excellance and blood, sweat and tears.

Im going to go for Pistone in this fight by decision 29-28 in my opinion, i think the fight will be neck a neck the whole way but Pistone will go for the takedown knowing he has the upper hand when it comes to BJJ and will control the fight on the floor until Julio manages to get back to his feet and i think that alone wil put the judges in favour of Pistone, a great fight is going to take place as you will see two amazing fighters leaving everything in the cage.

Jimmy James VS Brent Blackburn

In the eighth fight of this card brings together one time fight, K.O and Sub of the night winner 37 year old Canadian Jimmy James facing against 2 time fight and K.O of the night winner 33 year old American Brent Blackburn, While Jimmy has a advantage in muay thai, wrestling and BJJ being a black belt holder Brent has a big advantage in boxing so i can see this fight being a swinging contest if Brent has his own way.

Jimmy has a record of 23 wins 11 losses and Brent has a record of 12 wins and 4 losses both fighters wins mainly coming from (T)K.O's this fight wont reach the judges scorecast, infact its probably a good time for them to have a quick break because they certainly wont be needed in this fight, Jimmy will be fighting for a second win in a row and Brent will be fighting for a win after losing 2 in a row and wont be pulling no punches.

In my opinion Jimmy James' experiance will get him the win here, he will be able to keep the swinging Brent away with his outstanding muay thai utalising body kicks to push him away and use great head kicks and punches and even if the boxing of Brent becomes abit much for Jimmy then he will have no problems getting into the clinch or taking Brent down to the matt and taking the sting out of Brents only arrow. 2nd round K,O for Jimmy James.

Jannis Arvanitidis VS Eliah Marshal

In the Co-main event of the night is a great fight between 4 times fight of the night winner, 6 times fight of the night winner and 2 time fight of the night winner 38 year old Dutch Jannis Arvanitidis facing agaisnt the 9 Time fight of the night and 1 time K.O of the night winner American straight out of Compton 32 year old Eliah Marshal. Both of these guys are not afraid to get stuck in and throw everything they have and leave it all in the cage.

Jannis has a record of 28 wins and 23 losses while Eliah has a record of 30 wins and 14 losses, both are great veterans to the sport and both feel they have a point to prove. Eliah will want to carry on winning ways after a nice win agaisnt Finn Balor which i pointed out earlier while Jannis will also want to carry on winning ways after a win against Jean-Louis Andre who fights earlier on this card. Jannis has sensational boxing, muay thai and wrestling and holds a brown belt in BJJ while Eliah shares the exact same attributes. Both men are going to try and run through eachother and end up injury free.

i think Eliah will win this match in the second round by K.O i think his experiance and being more used to winning will marginly give him the edge in this fight, it wont be long after the bell in the first round these guys will be trading shots and yes there will be blood, i just dont think Jannis will be able to take the pain for aslong as Eliah as they will both give and recieve every simiular damage.

Sergei Dragunov VS Ethelbart Takahashi

In the Main event of this stacked card brings together two of the very best the sport has to offer with a rematch between fight of the night and 4 time K.O of the night winner 40 year old Russian mad house Sergei Dragunov will face off against 9 time fight of the night and 6 time K.O of the night winner the 37 year old Phillipino veteren Elthebart Takahashi. This is going to be INSANE!

Sergei is coming into this fight on a 2 fight losing streak and will be doing everything in his power to not let the streak grow to a third loss and Takahashi will want to get a second win in a row. Sergei's boxing, muay thai and wrestling is truly incredible with a respectable brown belt in BJJ while Takahashi is just as awesome in everyway as Sergei and also owning a brown belt in BJJ, Sergei has a awesome record of 21 wins and 6 losses and Takahashi has a record of 40 wins and 18 losses and both of these men have been previous champions.

19 of Sergei's 21 wins have come by way on (T)K.O's and 31 of Takahashi's 40 wins have also been from (T)K.O's so this fight will be won by a knock out. In the last fight between these two former champions was a K.O victory for Sergei in the second round from a perfectly placed punched leaving Takahashi seeing stars but i think the second meeting between these guys will be differant, i think Takahashi's experiance wont let him be beat twice by the same opponant. i think this thrilling encounter will be a forth round K.O for Takahashi making it 1-1 between these two and opening the perfect oppertunity for these two to get back in the cage for a third time to settle the score once and for all and leave one of these in a good place for title contention again!

I think we can all agree this is going to be one hell of a event and i for one cant wait to see how it pans out and see 10 of the greatest fights from 20 of the best fighters this sport has to offer. you will be a fool to miss it.

SP-ICON Fight Night 23

Big Kahunarena

Ichabod Crane VS Andr De Fran

Miguel Camacho VS John Conteh

Nigel McHughes VS Kimroy Hoo

Freddie Lee VS Elijah Pitikaka

Steve Ignorant VS Freddy White

Simon Morgan VS James Penn

Asa Sharp VS Rich Junior

Scott Watt VS Kenny Brandon

Boros Monet VS Drunken Hermit

Roger Schwarzeneg VS Hai Shang

Roger Schwarzeneg VS Hai Shang

In the first fight of the night is a rematch between 2 time fight and 2 time sub of the night winner 44 year old Finnish Veteran Roger Schwarzeneg up against the 30 year old sub of the night and 2 time K.O of the night winner Chinese dark horse Hai Shang. both of these guys will want to show that with age comes great experience rather than a loss in cardio and will both want to be showing the younger generation of fighters that they still have what it takes,

Roger has a record of 29 wins and 50 losses while Hai Shang has a record of 11 wins and 10 losses and a draw, in the last battle between these 2 fighters it was a win for Hai shang by submission, it was a first round armbar 4.57 seconds into the round earning his first win in 5 fights. Roger is on a 3 fight losing streak so he will be looking to win and prove to himself and the critics that he belongs in the sport despite a massive 50 losses. Roger is ok in Boxing and is very good in muay thai and wrestling but his BJJ is questionable while Hai Shang is fantastic everywhere and is the proud owner of a well earned black belt in BJJ.

I think this fight will be no different to the one we witnessed at SP-ICON Fight Night 20. Hai shang will win this fight and prove the first fight was no fluke, he is simply better than Roger everywhere and will win in the first round by submission leaving Roger and the ORG questioning whether Roger has a place in MMA anymore as 51 losses is far to much and at 44 it seems cruel.

Boros Monet VS Drunken Hermit

The second fight on the card is between fight and K.O of the night winner 31 year old Londoner Boros Monet facing off against fight of the night winner 32 year old American Drunken Hermit. Both of these fighters will want to be ending the 2 fight loss streak their currently on and return to winning ways.

Boros has a record of 9 wins and 9 losses and Hermit has a record of 12 wins and 13 losses so this is going to be a fairly even match between to hungry fighters, Boros is brilliant at boxing but not brilliant at anything else but his boxing makes up for anything he has not else where and Hermit is terrible at boxing and muay thai but has excellent muay thai and BJJ.

I think that Boros will win by 1st round K.O Hermit will just be looking to take Boros down but i don’t think he will get the opportunity before Boros knocks him out clean leaving Hermit wishing he spent some time practising his stand up game which I’m sure he will do after this fight takes place and he ends up spitting out teeth.

Scott Watt VS Kenny Brandon

In the next fight is a battle between fight of the night, K.O of the night and submission of the night winner 25 year old Canadian combat specialist Scott Watt facing up against fight of the night winner 26 year old Canadian Kenny Brandon in a battle of the Canadians. Brandon will be wanting to improve on his current 2 fight win streak while Watt will be wanting to do exactly the same,

Both of these guys have questionable records with Scott Watt having a record of 8 wins and 12 losses and Kenny having a record of 7 wins and 14 losses so both of these fighters know what the bitter taste of defeat is, Scott is decent in Muay thai but is not great in boxing and wrestling and holds a purple belt in BJJ while Kenny is decent all round but not outstanding and holds a Brown belt in BJJ.

This fight will be a nice win for Kenny Brandon, i think he will just outbox Scott and stay close to him and keep catching Scott on the inside while Scott is trying to stay on the outside and initialise his muay thai but i don’t think he will be successful and Kenny will win the fight by second round K.O

Asa Sharp VS Rich Junior

4 time fight of the night and 3 time sub of the night winner, American 29 year old former Lightweight champion Asa Sharp faces against 2 time sub of the night winner the 26 year old American Rich Junior. Asa Sharp needs a win if he ever wants a shot at the title he once possessed after losing 3 horrible fights in a row and Rich Junior will want a second win in a row and against a big name like Sharp its a perfect opportunity for him to get his name talked about.

Asa Sharp has a record of 20 wins and 8 losses while Rich Junior has a record of 10 wins and 8 losses, both of these competitors are the best of the best at what they do and both have a very heavy artillery and are both fantastic no matter where the fight takes then making this fight a hell of a match up and could easily be a main event on other cards showing just how competitive the Icon org is.

Asa has wins by 2 (T)K.O's a outstanding 10 wins by submission and 8 wins by decision and Rich has 3 wins by (T)K.O and 4 by submission and 3 by decision and both fighters will be eager to improve on there records as Asa will want to show his still a dominant force while Rich will want to prove he can hang with the best of them and show that he is a force to be reckoned with at Lightweight.

I think that Rich Junior will emerge victorious at the end of this fight, i think his more eager with more of a point to prove and its the perfect opportunity for him to fight Asa Sharp as Asa's confidence is terrible after losing 3 fights in a row and he will be questioning whether he still belongs in the sport or if he should hang up his gloves, i think it will be a 3rd round submission for Rich Junior after a good battle for 2 rounds and Rich will take advantage of Asa's lack of confidence and make him tap out or pass out.

Simon Morgan VS James Penn

In the forth fight on the card is a matchup between 5 time fight of the night winner Englishman 33 year old Simon Morgan and the Hong Kong maestro 23 year old James Penn, James Penn will want to continue winning ways and with a win against Morgan it will give him a 3 fight win streak while Simon Morgan will want to get his second win in a row and climb the rankings.

Simon as a record if 19 wins and 10 losses while James has a record of 8 wins 4 losses and a draw, Simons wins was earned by 10 knockouts and 9 decisions and James' 8 wins where made by 1 K.O 5 submissions and 2 decisions so both of these fighters have all the tools they need to get a win and making this fight very interesting. Simon is purely elite in boxing and muay thai hence his 10 K.Os and is fantastic in wrestling and holds a brown belt in BJJ while James just falls short in all aspects but is still a well established fighter and holds all the keys necessary to win a fight.

In my opinion i think Simon Morgan will win this fight fairly easierly, even though James Penn is a well established fighter i think Morgan has all the abilities to see him off without much trouble, i think Morgan will get a second round K.O taking his impressive record of K.Os up to 11 and placing him up the rankings and closer to the title shot he desperately needs.

Steve Ignorant VS Freddy White

At the midway point of this card comes a great battle between Palestinian State born 28 year old Steve Ignorant against 4 time fight of the night and 2 time fight of the night winner 26 year old American Freddy White. Both of these fighters will be looking to get back into winning ways after them both coming back from losses,

Steve has a record of 11 wins 6 losses and 1 draw while Freddy has a record of 16 wins 12 losses and 4 draws, Steve has won 5 of his 11 wins by (T)K.O and 6 by decision while Freddy has won 7 of his 16 wins also by (T)K.O and 9 by decision, Steve is strong in boxing and has a great skill set in muay thai and wrestling but slightly falls short in BJJ and while Freddy Is sensational everywhere apart from BJJ where he also slightly falls short of excellence.

Freddy will win this fight on the feet, a first round K.O seems like the most likely way this fight will end, he is just better than Steve in all areas and will come out victorious, it seems like Steve is going into this fight a beat man before the bell rings, i simply cant see anyway Steve can beat Freddy, a second round K.O seems the most likely for Freddy

Freddie Lee VS Elijah Pitikaka

In this fight on the card is another rematch between fight of the night and 2 time sub of the night winner 25 year old American Danger man Freddy Lee facing against the 2 time fight of the night and 2 time K.O of the night winner 30 year old Soloman Island's fighter Elijah Pitikaka.

Freddy has a record of 12 wins and 11 losses and Elijah has a record of 19 wins and 14 losses, Freddy has won 11 of this 12 fights by submission and 1 by K.O and Pitikaka has won 15 of his 19 wins by K.O and 4 by way of decision. Freddy has proficient skills in boxing And muay thai but is superb in BJJ & wrestling while Eliah is sensational in boxing and muay thai and has great wrestling and is not to bad at BJJ but not up to the standard of Freddie when it comes to BJJ.

When the last time these 2 warriors stood across the cage from each other it went the whole 3 rounds where Elijah came out victorious and won the judges over 30-27, Elijahs stand up game proved to be to good for Freddie Lee on the night and i know that both these guys are buzzing for the opportunity to get into the cage and go at each other again.

I think Freddie Lee will win this fight, i think Freddie will not try and stand up with Elijah like he did in the last fight, i think Freddie will keep away from Elijah watching him closely waiting for the chance to take the fight to the ground where his so proficient and will make Elijah tap put in the later stages of the first round of the fight.

Nigel McHughes VS Kimroy Hoo

The next fight on the card is a great match up between 8 times fight of the night 1 sub of the night and 2 time K.O of the night English 35 year old Englishman Nigel McHughes against the 2 time fight of the night and 2 time K.O of the night winner Jamaican 25 year old Kimroy Hoo,

Nigel McHughes has a record of 24 wins 14 losses and 1 draw while Kimroy Hoo has 9 wins and 5 losses. Kimroy's last 5 fights have all ended by decision and Nigel's last 6 fights have gone to the wire and into the hands of the judges so i reckon this fight will go the whole 3 rounds, McHughes has brilliant boxing is great at muay thai and can wrestle with the best of them and has a brown belt in BJJ and Kimroy also has brilliant boxing and is exceptional in muay thai and also has impeccable wrestling and also has a brown belt in BJJ.

I Cannot split these guys, i know it will go the distance but i cant single out a winner, i think they will tire each other out on the feet then wrestle and cancel each other out in the clinch and against the cage and then take the fight to the floor where either fighter will be able to take lead and finish the other guy, it will be a horrible fight to judge but a great fight to watch.

Miguel Camacho VS John Conteh

The Co- Main Event is the next fight on the card is another rematch between 2 former light heavyweight champions eager to set the record straight and get back into a title contention. This fight has Epic written all over it between 35 year old Mexican Veteran Miguel Camacho facing off against 36 year old English Legend John Conteh.

Miguel has a record of 25 wins 11 losses and 1 draw while John has 28 wins 13 losses and also 1 draw, Miguel has won 23 of his staggering 25 wins by (T)K.O and 2 by decision and John has won 21 of this 28 by (T)K.O and 7 by decision. So i think we can agree this is going to be awesome, Miguel has outstanding boxing, muay thai and wrestling and holds a brown belt in BJJ while John is just as good as Miguel in all areas and even has a black belt in BJJ so he has the edge if the fight hits the ground.

In the last fight between these former champions it wasn’t long after the bell the fans were gifted a superb TKO win for Miguel Camacho, the Mexicans punches proved to much for Conteh and he Miguel was left with another win for his record and Conteh was left wondering what the hell he did wrong and wants redemption on November 4th.

I can see this fight going in the hands of Camacho again, he will be doing the same thing he did last time and his experience will shine through as he knocks John out again and proves he is good enough and still young enough to hold the title and fight off all other competitors in the division, i dont think that Conteh will be able to stop the full force of Miguel's game plan, so im saying this till be a first round K.O for Camacho.

Ichabod Crane VS Andr De Fran

The Main Event is a rematch between 2 time fight of the night and 6 time K.O of the night winner 26 year old Canadian K.O specialist Ichabod Crane against the 6 time fight of the night, 2 time sub of the night and K.O of the night winner 31 year old Brazilian warrior Andr De Fran, Andr has a record of 23 wins 12 losses and 2 draws and Ichabod has 18 wins and 12 losses to his record.

Ichabod Crane has amazing boxing and very good muay thai and has wonderful wrestling and is competent in BJJ and Andr De Fran is Incredible in all aspects of fighting but is only as competent in BJJ as Crane is, Ichabod Crane has earned 16 of his 18 wins by (T)K.O and the other 2 wins are by decision, while Andr De Fran has won 14 of his 23 wins by (T)K.O and 2 submissions and 7 by decision.

The last incounter between these 2 fighters was at SP-ICON 254 where Andr De Fran won by 2nd round TKO from Kicks and Punches which left Ichabod Crane in all sorts of trouble so the ref was forced to end the fight. So Ichabod will be dying to get back into the cage and set the score straight after losing in the first fight. Andr will be hoping for much the same as he came out the fight fairly unscaved.

I can see Ichabod Crane winning this fight and making things between them all square and leaving a window open for 3rd fight between these guys and a numbered card. I think Ichabod is to clever to get caught twice and will have done everything leading upto this fight in fight camp to ensure he can come out victorious, i think that Andr will be expecting to be dominant again and will be caught short by a heavy punch from Ichabod leaving Andr's back against the matt seeing stars and Ichabod's hand will be raised after a 1st round K.O.

I Think that this card is going to be exceptional and is a must watch. Icons cards are always the most entertaining and this card is not proving to be any differant. from the first bell to the last bell this is gonna be action packed with plenty of blood, sweat and tears. and the fighters will give it 100% as they know what it takes to stay in the org.

SP-ICON 260

Hula's Arena

The Fights I am writing about consist of 10 Epic battles between:

Jonas Carvalho VS Marat Sanayev

Dan Henderson VS Felipe Calderon

Michael Nguyen VS Delvin Shore

Benny Winkler VS Kevin Raybould

Jack Shepard VS Kuzan Aokiji

Tural Agaev VS Yo Adrian

Imperiex Prime VS Djalu Roberts

© Ray Force VS Mark Calloway

Jeremy Barrett VS Freddy Steel

Jonas Carvalho VS Marat Sanayev

In the first fight of this spectacular card is a bout between 2 time K.O of the night winner 28 year old Brazilian fighting his forth fight with Icon Jonas Carvalho. Standing opposite him is the winner of 1 Sub of the night award having his 6th fight under Icon the 25 year old Kazakhstan born Submission specialist Marat Sanayev. Jonas will want to fight his way to a win after losing 4 fights in a row while Marat will also want to return to winning ways after losing his last fight to Wang Chung at SP-ICON 255 by way of submission in the first round.

Jonas is not the greatest Boxer but his skills in Muay Thai make up for that and his skill set in Wrestling is strong and he holds a Blue Belt in BJJ, while Marat's Boxing, Muay Thai and Wrestling is below average but his BJJ is of a very high standard and it wont be long till his the proud owner of a Black Belt. Jonas has a record of 8 Wins and 8 Losses and 1 draw while Marat has a record of 12 Wins 13 Losses and also has 1 Draw. Both of these guys will be wanting to add another Win to there record's and they will give all they have to do so.

In my opinion I cant see past Jonas Carvalho for this fight, I dont believe Marat has what it takes to take Jonas down to the matt and do what he excels at while Jonas is picking Marat apart with his impeccable Muay Thai. I think it will be a second round K.O for Jonas in a great way to start the SP-ICON 260 card.

Dan Henderson VS Felipe Calderon

The Second fight on this crazy action packed card is a battle of the Knockout artists 5 time fight of the night and 3 time K.O of the night winner 30 year old American hard hitter Dan Henderson facing off against the 6 time fight of the night 1 time sub of the night and 1 time K.O of the night winner Colombian nightmare Felipe Calderon. Henderson will want to get a win and show his still a force to be reckoned with after his loss to Devil Anse Hatfield at SP-ICON Fight Night 18 by TKO in the 3rd round. Felipe Calderon will need a win after losing 5 in a row so questions are being asked about his future at ICON which he will want to silence and a Win against Henderson would surely do that.

Henderson has fantastic Boxing and Muay Thai and can Wrestle at a Olympic level and holds a Brown belt in BJJ while his opponent Calderon is just as good as Henderson in all aspects but Calderon does hold a Black belt in BJJ so this gives him the advantage if the fight takes to the floor, Henderson has a record of 13 Wins and 11 Losses and he has fought for the Middleweight title in the CFS org at CFS 31: Revelations, Where he unfortunately lost against Katsuro Kazuhiro in the first round by way of TKO and since joining ICON his Won 2 of this 4 fights and hopes to someday hold a belt in this organisation but performances are going to need to improve for this to happen due to the talent in this org. Calderon has a record of 17 Wins and 16 Losses and 1 Draw, Calderon has fought for a title recently also but same as Henderson fell just short at the final hurdle losing in the first round to Jamon Jamon at DSC 36 by way of TKO.

I strongly believe that Calderon will return to winning ways and get a submission victory against Henderson, i think Henderson and Calderon will be standing up for a good portion of the fight swinging for the fences and getting into incredible clinches and really giving their everything and then when Calderon seems its the right time he will take Henderson to the matt and tap him out using his Black Belt in BJJ to his advantage. Third round Submission for Felipe Calderon.

Michael Nguyen VS Delvin Shore

In the third fight of the night is a rematch between Fight of the night and 2 time K.O of the night winner 37 year old Vietnam born Veteran Micheal Nguyen, ready to battle him is the 29 year old American Hellraiser Delvin Shore. The last time these fighters saw eachother was in a incredible fight at SP-ICON 255 Where the fight ended in a draw as the judges could not come to a unanimous decision. The judges scored the fight 30-27 28-29 and 29-29 opening up a great chance for a rematch for one of these fighters to progress further in the division.

Michael is brilliant in Boxing and superb in Muay Thai and has some skill in the Wrestling but his BJJ is requiring some work so he will shy away from the fight going to the matt if possible while Delvin has sensational skills in Boxing but lacks major skills in Muay Thai but is overly skilled in Wrestling and BJJ which can make up for the lack of skills in Muay Thai he possesses. Michael has a good record of 16 Wins 7 Losses and 2 Draws under 5 different managers but his new manager Mr Hogg is hoping to bring out his full potential and he'll need to due to Icon being such a competitive organisation. Delvin has a record of 8 Wins 2 Losses and 1 Draw and this is his third manager and since being under new management Delvin has occurred his 2 Losses and draw so it seems Fighter and manager need to get on the same wavelength as Delvin was unbeaten for previous managers but Im quietly confident that results will start going his way and he'll be back in winning form soon.

I Believe Delvin will get the Win here and return to winning ways and get a second round K.O. I feel Micheal will take comfort in the fact that Delvin has struggled under new management of late and will go into the fight feeling like his already won but will get caught with a nasty knockout punch leaving Michael seeing stars and making manager Cian Coggins very happy and feeling confident of better things to come.

Benny Winkler VS Kevin Raybould

On the forth fight on the card brings together 34 year old Australian Benny Winkler facing off against 7 time fight of the night winner and 8 time K.O of the night winner 45 year old American Veteran Kevin Raybould in a deciding rematch of the bout that happened at SP-ICON 253 Where the fight went to the judges decision after a full 15 minutes of action packed MMA where all three judges gave the victory to Kevin Raybould 29-28 leaving the Veteran with another win and in the fight before that at SP-ICON 232 also went to the judges score card where all of the judges scored it 30-27 in favour of Benny Winkler and both guys will want to get back into the cage for a third time and not let the judges settle their fate so we will be in for a great fight where anything can happen.

Benny is Exceptional in Boxing but lacks a lot of skill in Muay Thai and has superb Wrestling but will avoid the matt as his BJJ is not great by a long shot. Kevin on the other hand has excellent skills everywhere apart from BJJ so this fight will stay on the matt to avoid utter embarrassment from both parties. Benny Winkler has a record of 17 Wins 6 Losses and 1 Draw and will want to settle this fight in his own way after his last 6 fights going to the judges. While the former UFF Heavyweight Champion has a incredible record of 42 Wins and 17 Losses but age is against Kevin being 45 but he is still young at heart and still feels like he has a point to prove and believes he still has what it takes to compete at a top level and get a title again before retirement.

I think this fight will end back in the judges hands for the third time, i believe that Benny just dont have what it takes to put fighters away and win by way of K.O and i think the age of Kevin will render him with the same issues. i believe it will be very close but Kevin will win the fight by split decision, 29-28 28-29 30-27 and Kevin will progress up the ranking and hope to get a fighter closer to the title contender with time not being in his favour.

Jack Shepard VS Kuzan Aokiji

At the halfway point of the card is a fight between 3 time fight of the night 1 time Sub of the night and 4 time K.O of the night winner 32 year old American K.O artist Jack Shepard facing off against the 2 time fight of the night winner 24 year old Japanese exciting wonderkid Kuzan Aokiji. Jack will want to get another win after a beautiful 1st round K.O against Oleg Alekseev at SP-ICON 258 while Kuzan will want to carry on his win streak and a win against Jack Shepard would extend his run to 6 and leave him in good stead and climbing the rankings even more.

Former OFC Heavyweight Champion Jack Shepard is of the highest standard in Boxing, probably feels he could give Mike Tyson a run for his money, has sufficiently good skills in Muay Thai and can wrestle at the highest of standards and doesn’t fear the idea of the fight hitting the matt with extremely good BJJ while Ex Marine Kuzan Aokiji matches Jack Shepard in all aspects making this fight a incredible match up which really could go either way. Jack Shepard has a record of 20 Wins and 12 Losses and he earned 16 of them 20 Wins by (T)K.O while Kuzan Aokiji has a record of 9 Wins and 2 Losses with the majority of those wins coming from decision.

This fight will be a 2nd round K.O for Jack Shepard i feel. I think his experience and determination will see him through this fight while Kuzan will be wanting to see the fight through to the end and will get K.O'd in the process as Jack Shepard wont be wanting the judges to be deciding his fate and will seal the fight by his own means,

Tural Agaev VS Yo Adrian

In the sixth fight of the card is fight between 3 time fight of the night and 2 time K.O of the night winner the 25 year old Russian beast Tural Agaev. His opponent is no other than the 4 time fight of the night and 5 time K.O of the night winner 33 year old Argentinean former BFE Super Heavyweight champion Yo Adrian. Tural Agaev will want to add another Win to his record after a impressive first round K.O against Amis Pelle at SP-ICON 255 while Yo Adrian will be looking to return to winning ways after losing in two consecutive fights by decision against Kuzan Aokiji.

Tural is amazing in all aspects of MMA he has the highest calibre skill set across the board with amazing Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and BJJ while Yo Adrian has excellent Boxing and Muay Thai but slightly falls short to Tural in Wrestling and BJJ so he will be doing everything in his power to keep in on the feet where his more comfortable, Tural has a record of 10 Wins and 5 Losses with 8 of those Wins coming by way of (T)K.O and Adrian has a record of 22 Wins and 18 Losses and 1 Draw and all 22 of his Wins have been by way of Knockout!

Yo Adrian will submerge victorious in this fight with another K.O and end the 2 fight losing streak his currently on, The Former Champions need to return to greatness will give him the edge in this fight i feel, i think Tural will make the mistake of swinging with him and get caught up in the moment and not go for the takedown to prove himself against such a proficient boxer and get K.O'd for his troubles.

Imperiex Prime VS Djalu Roberts

In the seventh fight of the night is another crazy fight on this crazy card between 2 time fight of the night and 3 time K.O of the night winner 26 year old Greek mystro Imperiex Prime against the fight of the night and K.O of the night winner 24 year old Australian Djalu Roberts. Prime will want to get back to winning ways immediately after missing out on the title in his last fight against Ray Force which he lost by first round TKO at SP-ICON 256 while Djalu will want to extend on his 3 fight winning streak and will be nearing title contention if he earns a win against the former contender.

Imperiex Prime has astonishing skills in Boxing and Wrestling but when it comes to Muay Thai and BJJ his skills are in need of abit of improvement and Djalu Roberts has exactly the same skill set, its rare for two fighters to be so similar making this fight a brilliant watch as they both have the same advantages and disadvantages and will fight similar fights and it wont be till the bell starts we will find out which one of these guys has the upper hand. Prime has a record of 18 Wins and 13 Losses earning all 18 of his Wins by K.O but his chin is questionable as 10 of his 13 Losses have also been by K.O while Djalu has a record of 7 Wins and only 1 Loss and he earned all 7 of his Wins by K.O.

In my opinion i think Djalu will pull the win out of the bag by catching Prime on his glass chin and be next in line for a title shot a the next fight to be number one contender as this would be a huge win for the Australian. Im going to guess at a third round K.O for Djalu, Prime will think his experience has already won him the fight but Djalu has only lost once and didnt enjoy the taste as he won his next 3 fights and i dont think its going to stop. Im going to put my neck on the line and say that Djalu Roberts will be the Icon Super heavyweight champion once he gets his rematch with Ray Force.

© Ray Force VS Mark Calloway

The eighth fight on the card is a 5 round title fight between these two super Heavyweights. The Contender is Fight of the night and Sub of the night winner 28 year old American from Death Valley Mark Calloway facing the Champion fight of the night and 6 time K.O of the night winner 32 year old American Ray Force. Calloway will want to be winning the belt after 3 impressive wins in a row all by TKO and all in the first round while the Champion will be wanting to retain the belt after defending it 6 times and all of those wins have came by way of K.O and TKO in the first and second rounds.

Mark Calloway has surprised many as his entire skill set is not massive, his not the best Boxer and is not excellent in Muay Thai, his Wresting is above average but his BJJ is not great by a long shot but he proceeds to earn impressive victories and deserves to be where he is and deserves his title shot no doubt. While the Champion Ray Force has epic skills in Boxing and Muay Thai while his Wrestling is also fantastic but he has no idea what to do on the matt as he only has a white belt in BJJ. Calloway has a record of 15 Wins and 10 Losses and earning 13 of them Wins by KO and TKO it really proves he can swing leather with the best of them while Ray Force has a Champions record of 24 Wins and 6 Losses and all 24 of his Wins have come by way of K.O and TKO.

Ray Force will be retaining his belt in this fight, his Knockout power will be to much for Calloway, Calloway dont have what it takes to beat Ray Force as i believe the only way to beat the animalistic Champion is to get him to the floor but i dont think Calloway is confident enough to attempt takedown and will stay standing to initialise his K.O power but its going to be his downfall and his just going to be the champions piece of pray.

Jeremy Barrett VS Freddy Steel

In the Co-Main Event of the night is a fight between two former champions but dont let the word former put you off this fight, both of these guys are two of the best in the business racking up 46 wins between them. The first of these fighters is 3 time fight of the night and 7 time K.O of the night winner 32 year old Finnish former Death squad Heavyweight Champion Jeremy Barrett against twice winner of the fight of the night award and three times winner of the K.O of the night award the former Icon Champion 39 year old American Freddy Steel. Jeremy will want to get his third Win in a row and second Win in a row since joining the Icon Organisation while Freddy will want to extend his Winning streak to 4 Wins in a row.

Jeremy has amazing boxing and good Muay Thai and Wrestling but his BJJ is slightly below average while Freddy Steel is sensational everywhere, He could Box with Muhammad Ali, Fight Muay Thai with Jon Jones, Wrestle with Daniel Cormier and take Royce Gracie to the Matt and tap him out, making everyone wonder how his not the Champion still. But Freddy is going crazy and is not letting nothing stop him from getting his belt back. Jeremy has a record of 24 Wins and 6 Losses and Freddy has a record of 21 Wins and 11 Losses between them Totalling a amazing 40 K.O's between them.

I think that Freddy will become victorious from this fight, he is just to good everywhere, no matter where Jeremy Barrett takes the fight Freddy Steel is just better. I think it will be a first round K.O for Freddy as Jeremy will not be able to match up to Freddy and will just go for Freddy with everything he has and will get caught with a knockout punch which will put Freddy back up into the title race and leaving Jeremy needing more wins to amount to anything in the Icon Organisation.

© Sotiris Kakoullis VS Arial Jones ©

In the Main event is another title fight between 2 Champions! 6 time fight of the night and 3 time K.O of the night winner, Cyprus born 29 year old 205lb champion Sotiris Kakoullis faces the 3 time fight of the night 2 time sub of the night and one time K.O of the night winner, 34 year old New Zealander 185lbs Champion Arial Jones in a battle of the Champions to settle who is the best in the organisation. Sotiris has been a Champion in 3 different orgs and so has Arial Jones so i think this fight speaks for itself. Both fighters are looking to improve on 3 consecutive title defences each and will want their names at the top of the organisation as the very best.

Sotiris has the greatest skill set in Boxing, Muay Thai and Wrestling and holds a Brown Belt in BJJ while Arial is just as good in Boxing as Sotiris falls short very slightly in Muay Thai, is the same as Sotiris in Wrestling and holds a Black Belt in BJJ. Sotiris has a record of 20 Wins and 4 Losses earning 17 (T)K.O's and 3 decisions while Arial has a record of 22 Wins 6 Losses and 1 Draw with a mixture of 13 (T)K.O's and 3 Submissions and 6 by the judges scorecards. Between these two they have a incredible 14 Title defences and they will both be giving blood, sweat and tears to ensure they get another win on their incredible records.

I cant separate these guys, i cant describe with words how great both of these incredible fighters are its better you take a look at their records and make your own decision, In one way Sotiris can try and keep the fight standing and maybe knock Arial out while his looking for the takedown but the other way the fight can go is if Arial is successful with a takedown and he can grind Sotiris down with ground and pound and maybe a submission but this fight wont go to the judges. it will probably be the best fight in MMA history.

I think we can all agree this has to be one of the best fightcards in the history of fighting, from the very first fight this card holds all the keys to be the most entertaining cards ever. The last three fights are insane. Your being treated to two title fights and 3 Champions on a single card. And two former champions looking to get back into title contention and be the best of their weightclass. You'd be a fool to miss it and i hope i have gave you a insight to which is going to be the most entertaining night of fights in the history of MMA and its A honour to be the one writing this for you all.
