SPFT 111: Moses vs. Martin 3

by: NBFeared (87355)

-Adam Gracie (15-8-1)v Romano Schoots (23-16-0)

We start out this amazing fight card with two extremely talented featherweight fighters, Adam Gracie and Romano Schoots. Adam Gracie is coming into this fight holding a red belt in BJJ, can he utilize his BJJ to beat Romano Schoots? Shoots on the other hand is coming into this fight with a two fight winning streak, and he is clearly interested in keeping it going. Let’s go folks!

-Riley McCollins (15-10-0)v John Malham(20-12-0)

Riley McCollins is coming off a really nice headkick knockout over Gustavo Ribeiro, and he has skills in all aspects of the game. John Malham is looking to get a fight back due to the split decision loss he suffered in his last fight against Nero Aurelious. It’s exciting to see who really wants this fight.

-Anthony Joseph (18-13-0) v Nathan Corbett (15-6-1)

Nathan Corbett comes into this fight with a nice little 2 win streak, and he has amazing stand-up, and if it goes to the ground he can be a threat as well with a nice black belt in BJJ. Anthony Joseph on the other hand is just so well rounded in every aspect of the game. Even though he only has 1 submission win, it’s his manager’s decision if he wants him to submit his opponent. It’ll be interesting to see what will happen in this matchup.

-Tim Ernst (17-11-1)v Leopold Scotch(15-6-0)

Our second featherweight fight of the evening features Tim Ernst and Leopold Stotch. Both fighters are a little bit on the older side, so they both have a lot of experience in the fight game. Tim Ernst has a really well rounded game, winning 5 fights via KO, 4 fights via submission, and 8 fights via decision. Leopold Scotch has ruthless knockout power, winning all but 2 fights by knockout/technical knockout. It will be interesting to see what will happen in this fight.

-Virgil Cid (16-6-0)v Jebidiah Tayber (14-6-0)

A lightweight fight is up next, and both fighters are pretty equal when it comes to the ground game. They both hold brown belts in brazilian jiu jitsu, but Virgil Cid has yet to submit an opponent in his MMA career. Jebidiah Tayber on the other hand, has 7 submission victories out of his 14 wins. This will be a very interesting matchup.

-Sergei Bautin (22-13-0)v Francois Duvalier(13-7)

Sergei Bautin vs Francois Duvalier is up next, and we have a great super heavyweight bout. Francois Duvalier has fantastic boxing and Sergei Bautin, in my opinion, has the better ground game. It will be a very interesting matchup, can Sergei get it to the ground or can Francois keep it standing and use his great boxing skills.

-Severi Turpaansaaja (25-11-0)v Hans Landa(19-10-1)

Next up we have the lightweight title fight between Severi Turpaansaaja and Hans Landa. Now the reason why this fight is lower on the card is due to the fact that the title is currently vacant. That means there is no title holder at the moment, and these two have been chosen to see who will be the next ICON Lightweight Champion. This is a classic boxer vs grappler matchup, Turpaansaaja being the boxer and Hans being the grappler. Can’t wait for this fight!

-Super Hans (18-6-0)v Phil Mcracken (10-2-0)

This fight between two welterweight fighters will keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Super Hans is a great grappler, being able to land 15 Submissions, but if he can’t possibly get it to the ground he has the boxing to keep him dangerous on the feet. Phil Mcracken also possesses tremendous wrestling, and he will need to keep careful to look out for Super Hans’s BJJ. This fight will be an amazing fight. Will Super Hans take it by submission? Or will Phil Mcracken dominate on the ground?

-Jefferson Davis Hogg (17-7-0)v Lobsta Mang (17-4-0)

Our co-main event features two explosive fighters, Jefferson Davis Hogg and Lobsta Mang, in which whom will square off in this 265+ fight. Jefferson Davis Hogg has scary Muay Thai, and with 13 KOs under his belt, is a force to reckon with on the feet. I mainly see this fight standing, especially with 10 KOs coming from Lobsta Mang. Lobsta Mang has incredible boxing and Muay Thai and he may be able to pose a problem for Jefferson Davis Hogg. Who will go down first in this crazy 265+ bout?

-Moses Kealekapuna (23-5-0) v Frank Martin (22-11-0)

Boy oh boy, we have an incredible main event for this fight card! Moses Kealekapuna squares off against Frank Martin in this light heavyweight title fight. Moses Kealekapuna has amazing knockout power, with 22 of his 23 wins coming from knockout, will look to defend his title vs Frank Martin. Frank Martin, the challenger that contains a really nice well rounded game, with 16 finishes, 11 coming from KO and 5 coming from submission, is a threat wherever the fight may go. People, don’t blink because something insane will happen this fight.
