The Creator 5/10

Visually stunning sci-fi movie but the pacing was often at odds with all the flashiness, some great set pieces but overall the story needed a lot more depth to make it worthy of its budget.

Dune 2 9/10

The hype is real, great movie with a masterful director holding a complex story together with amazing visuals & stil managing to focus on the deeper elements of the book. Many criitiques lament the excision of Thufir Hawat's story but hopefully that can be covered in the last movie of the trilogy.

SISU 7/10

Utterly ridiculous in places but still a fun "kill some Nazis" action movie.

Road House 5/10

Had it not been a remake I would maybe rate it 7/10, but a remake should either re-imagine or do it a whole lot better and this did neither.

Just watched the series 1 of Fallout, it is shit hot!

best show I have seen in quite a while

Apocalyptic, mad max, steam punk, uber violence, funny, great characters with some great little cameos by certain actors

never seen or played the game but this is very good 9/10

About halfway through and I give it 8/10 it's very good and the casting was spot on, what it misses is some more comedic touches, the gore and violence of the games always had some of that and that could have elevated the show.

I also starting watching that last night. I was a massive fan of the original Fallout games back in the late 90s, so i can also relate to a lot of the scenes and general vibe of the series.

So far i got through the first 2 episodes and I have to say, they did an awesome job with this one, i had zero expectations, but they did a great job, expecially if you played the game or like that type of genre (post-Apocalyptic).

Baby Reindeer - Netflix.

This one was getting a lot of both positive & negative buzz around the work office - people either really loved it or absolutely detested it - so I gave it a shot and I very nearly switched off because the pacing was often tedious & in a few places you really wanted to tell the Lead character to just get a grip, but that's actually a key part of what makes this show work, when you figure out why hes allowing himself to be treated the way he is, but to get to that point is a slog.

The lead actress gives a formidable performance as a thoroughly oddball obsessive and the lead actor was basically reliving his trauma re-enacting what is his retelling of true events he went through.

I think most here would hate it, I almost hated it but it has a couple of genuinely moving scenes that probably rescued what is a dark & weird story and elevated it into an insightful & instrospective survival story.

This is not a nice story, its ugly and disturbing in so many ways, but if you are after something that scratches the weird itch in the back of your skull this might do it, but there is a high chance you'll fucking hate it.

If you are anti-woke or just generally despise anything remotely LGBT then avoid it like the plague or you'll be boring your pastor to death whining about it. But if you persevere, and it will take some persevering, then it has a real soul & heart to it underneath the grime & weirdness.

-9/10 or 9/10 depending on your perspective, probably the most divisive show I ever watched.
