Giacomo Benvenuti

"Mr. Styr, I must give you credit for stirring some of the fighter's emotions in XKC. It has been a while since chatter has been so lively and your cannibalistic references are definitely...unique. I am certain you will make quite the mark in this organization. I wonder, however, what you think of me? Am I merely a larger meal you believe you can consume, or am I more worthy than a slab of meat that awaits you to sully it, along with your devout followers? Like yourself, though in a far different context, I have eaten the competition pretty steadily thus far, but to overestimate anyone is sheer ignorance. I am not ignorant, therefore, I shall not overlook anyone standing across the ring from me. Mr. Shezzo Wicked and I will engage in combat in 8 days. Should you take the time to watch that battle, I hope you enjoy what unfolds for it may very well be what unfurls in your future as well. Now if you'll excuse me, I have other business I must tend to."

"Listen, i will eat my Greek meal then i will step over his corpse and walk upto ...

(gets cut off by his manager Michael Brakeley)

"Sorry for that, my client will not be facing you anytime soon Mr. Benvenuti. He is simply not there in skill levels just yet. However, in the future you and him may yet have a dance in the moonlight, but as for now he will be honing his skills. Thank you for the kind words about my fighter, and i wish you the best in your fight and the future"

"My 3rd fight for Xtreme K1 Combat will be a tough test. Robert Archer (1-1) has power in his hands but does he have a weak chin too? I hope to answer that question when we fight on the 25th of July 2014."

The first fight of the night will see to heavyweights go head-to-head as they’ll both look to break the others winning streak.

Crain’s first fight in XKC ended as a no-contest as his opponent failed to make weight but he has since picked up three wins in three fights with all of those wins coming by stoppages. He has put on some very impressive performances as he edges up the heavyweight rankings.

His opponent, Ser Gregor Clegane is now 3-1 in XKC and has bounced back from a TKO loss to Rysty Sankari to pick up two very impressive KO wins in a row that have both earned him KO of the night awards.

Fight 2: Lex Lethal (1-2-0) VS Asos Than (3-2-0)

Both fighters are going into this bout on two fight losing streaks and both will be looking to pull off a win and turn their careers around. Than has shown his power in previous bouts with two knockout wins to his name but he’ll be coming up against someone that hasn’t been knocked out before. He’ll also have to keep himself well covered up with both his losses coming by TKO’s.

Neither fighter have yet to have picked up a win here in Xtreme K1 Combat.

Fight 3: Bjarno Lackenmeier (13-14-1) VS Peter Maynard (14-14-0)

Peter Maynard is coming into this fight on a four fight losing streak and very low on moral, he has been stopped in his last three fights with two of them stoppages coming in the first round. He is yet to have picked up a win under the XKC banner.

Lackenmeier picked up a decision win in his XKC debut but then got knocked out in his last fight against Tyler Crain so he’ll be looking to bounce back with a win.

Fight 4: Jeremy Jones (4-3-0) VS Heavy Hands (3-1-0)

After going on a three-fight winning streak in XKC, Jeremy Jones’ form has somewhat slipped with a 1-3 skid in his last four fights. He’ll be looking to come back from back-to-back stoppage losses.

Hands started his XKC career in similar fashion with three wins but he dropped in last fight when he challenged for the title against current champion Joseph Amadi. A win here could push him back into the title picture.

Fight 5: Captain Kat (7-8-0) VS Jaakko Kolloo (20-7-3)

Captain Kat lost his last fight in XKC which happened to be his debut here by unanimous decision which pushed his current losing streak to four fights. He’ll be desperate for a win here to get his career on track.

Kolloo will be appearing for the third time under the XKC banner but will still be looking to get his first win. His last two fights have seen him lose by unanimous decision and TKO.

Fight 6: Tom Kite (14-2-0) VS Bang Toe (18-7-0) – Lightweight Title Fight

This fight will see lightweight champion Tom Kite look to defend his title against challenger Bang Toe.

Tom Kite dropped his debut in XKC but has since turned things around and has picked himself up a five-fight winning streak with two successful title defences as he reigns at the top of the lightweight division.

Bang Toe made his XKC debut in his last fight and picked up an impressive KO win which stretched his winning streak to three fights. He has 16 TKO/KO victories from his 18 wins so he’ll be looking to pick up another stoppage in this fight and walk away with the title around his waist.

Fight 7: Mark Addison (0-0-0) VS Tihon Lapardin (0-1-0)

Mark Addison will be making his career debut in this fight against Lapardin who picked up a decision loss in his first ever fight.

Fight 8: Yvgeny Molotov (4-0-0) VS Pat Garret (4-1-0) – Middleweight Title Fight

This fight will see middleweight champion Yvgeny Molotov look to defend his title against challenger Pat Garret.

Molotov started his career here in XKC and has picked up four wins in four fights with four brutal TKO finishes. The clinch specialist uses brutal elbows to slice and dice his opponents with two of his four wins coming by way of cut stoppages. He is undefeated and will be defending the title for the first time after picking the vacant title up in his last fight.

Pat Garret started his career in MMA where he went 1-1 but since moving into the world of KT with XKC he has gone on a three-fight winning streak with three devastating knockouts that have earned him a crack at the middleweight title.

Co Main Event: Shezzo Wicked (4-5-0) VS Giacomo Benvenuti (9-0-0) – Super-heavyweight Title fight

The co-main event of the night will see super-heavyweight champion Giacomo Benvenuti look to defend his title against challenger Shezzo Wicked.

Giacomo Benvenuti is now undefeated in 9 fights with all 9 wins coming by way of KO/TKO in the first round! He has three successful defences of his title and has picked up four KO of the night awards here in XKC. He is also ranked at number #3 in the super-heavyweight’s kickboxing rankings and at the young age of 21-years-old it’s unpredictable what this you, brilliant fighter can achieve in his career.

Shezzo Wicked make his XKC debut in his last fight and picked up a win with a first round TKO. The win pushed his winning streak to four fights which is a huge bounce back from a terrible five fight losing streak he had to kick start his career.

Main Event: Ruben Wiki (32-18-1) VS Rysty Sankari (28-8-0)

The main event of the night will see heavyweight’s Ruben Wiki and Rysty Sankari collide as both look to establish themselves as title challengers.

Wiki made it to the final of the XKC Hevayweight Showdown tournament final where he was stopped in just 18 seconds by current heavyweight champion Lorenzo Van Matterhorn. He has since bounced back with two wins and a first-round KO in his last fight. He is ranked at #7 in the heavyweight’s kickboxing rankings and a win here could see him get another crack at Lorenzo for the title.

Sankari’s last fight saw him fight for the title in a thrilling five-round, Fight of the night battle that he lost in a decision victory for champion Lorenzo Van Matterhorn. Prior to that loss he was on a five-fight winning streak in XKC. He’ll be hoping for a win here to get himself back into the title picture.

XKC 7: Ring Kings Preview

Hello fight fans and welcome to the XKC 7: Ring Kings Preview Talk show! I'm down at the Hard Knock's Arena in London where 3,000 people turned out to watch a fantastic night of K1 action!

Fight 1: Tyler Crain VS Ser Gregor Clegane

Winner: Ser Gregor Celgane via KO (Head Kick) - 1:31 of round 2

Ser Gregor Clegane pulled off another win with another spectacular head kick KO. The fight could of gone either way as both fighters started aggressive. Clegane got cut in the first from a nice jab from Crain, then Crain caught him again on the end of the chin which really hurt Clegane, but he managed to hold on until the end of the round.

The second saw Crain try to take the fight to the clinch and as soon as it broke Clegane caught him with a huge push kick in the face that dropped and cut Crain but he wasn't back to his feet for long before Clegane smashed in a huge head kick that put Crain's lights out!

Fight 2: Lex Lethal VS Asos Than

Winner: Lex Lethal via unanimous decision

It was quite an easy night for Lethal as his opponent Than didn't manage to land one of his 27 standing strikes and only landed 2 strikes in the clinch in the whole fight. Lethal used good controlled accuracy and a strong clinch game to earn the win.

Fight 3: Bjarno Lackenmeier VS Peter Maynard

Winner: Bjarno Lackenmeier via split decision

Although the fight was judged a split decision, it was clear that Lackenmeier won the fight as he dominated from the clinch. The first round saw both fighters cut with elbows in the clinch but it was Lackenmeier who won the round with his activity rate within the clinch and the second and third saw much of the same as Lackenmeier dictated the pace from the clinch and bounced back from a loss in his last fight.

Fight 4: Jeremy Jones VS Heavy Hands

Winner: Jeremy Jones via TKO (Knee) - 1:21 of Round 1

Jeremy Jones made short work of Heavy Hands in their bout with a first round stoppage. It didn't take long for the first knockdown to come as Jones smashed in a head kick that cut Hands and kept him down until the 9 count! Hands managed to recover but made the mistake of taking the fight to the clinch were Jones continued to tee off and score big points with big shots before landing a huge knee that forced the referee to wave off the fight, breaking a two-fight losing streak for Jones.

Fight 5: Captain Kat VS Jaakko Kolloo

Winner: Jaakko Kolloo via TKO (Punch) - 1:34 of Round 3

Kolloo dominated this fight from start to finish with a high work rate and good accuracy. Captain Kat put on a poor shot as he only landed one shot in the whole fight. It was first a right hook that sent Kat to the canvas in the third and then a second hook that put an end to the nights proceedings. Kat is now on a five-fight losing streak.

Fight 6: Tom Kite VS Bang Toe – Lightweight Title Fight

Winner: Bang Toe via unanimous decision

The first title fight of the night saw Xtreme K1 Combat crown a new Lightweight champion! Toe started the fight not well as Kite dominated the first round and really hurt Toe with a nice high kick. Toe turned the fight around in the second and dominated the fight from there as Kite's accuracy let him down and Toe's work rate saw him through. The fight put an end to Kite's five-fight winning streak and saw him lose his title after two defenses.

Fight 7: Mark Addison VS Tihon Lapardin

Winner: Mark Addison via TKO (Punch) - 1:16 of Round 2

Mark Addison got his career off to a winning start and left Lapardin still looking for his first win. Addison mixed it up through the fight with kicks and punches as he out-worked and out-classed his opponent. A 1-2 combination made Lapardin take a kneel early in the second and then a huge left hook left Lapardin wondering where he was and the referee called an end to the fight.

Fight 8: Yvgeny Molotov (4-0-0) VS Pat Garret (4-1-0) – Middleweight Title Fight

Winner: Yvgeny Molotov via unanimous decision

The second title fight of the night saw Yvgeny Molotov remain undefeated in five-fights and successfully defend his middleweight title for the first time! It also put an end to Pat Garret's three-fight winning streak.

Two young, talented fighters really went to war in the five-round, fight of the night fight but it was Molotov who really dominated with all judges scoring every round in his favor. The young man showed that he can remain comfortable in any place that a fight can take you with clean accurate leg kicks, strong boxing and powerful work within the clinch. He outworked his oppoennt and walked away the rightful winner.

Co Main Event: Shezzo Wicked (4-5-0) VS Giacomo Benvenuti (9-0-0) – Super-heavyweight Title fight

Winner: Giacomo Benvenuti via KO (Punch) - 1:23 of Round 2

Benvenuti remained undefeated and defended his Super-heavyweight title for the fourth time with another excellent stoppage victory!

Wicked fought well with strong leg kicks and is the first fighter to take Benvenuti past the first round but it was Benvenuti who dominated the fight before a peach of an uppercut left Wicked out cold on the mat.

Main Event: Ruben Wiki (32-18-1) VS Rysty Sankari (28-8-0)

Winner: Rysty Sankari via TKO (Punch) - 0:49 of Round 1

Rysty Sankari pulled off an absolute cracker of a win in this fight in a really shocking fashion! It was expected that these two fighters would go to war but it took Sankari just 49 seconds to leave the referee no choice but to end the fight after a lead hook left Wiki stumbling round the ring like a drunken fool! The loss put an end to Wiki's two-fight winning streak.
